Differences among the three persons that describe the full GODhead come into view, today.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “louis” (Level 2 with 854 points, a member since September 09, 2011) posted the following:

Can you explain 1 Corinthians 15:24, 28?

Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power.
1 Corinthians 15:24

When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all.
1 Corinthians 15: 28

Why does Jesus have to had over the authority to the Father, as they are one?
Why does he have to subject himself to God in the end, as he is God?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?  This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.  For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost:   and these three are one.  (1st John 5:  5-7, KJV)

“louis”, there are many things that have to be fitted together, here.  For thousands of years, now, Christian believers have wrestled with the many concepts that describe Deity by using the idea of GODhead.  Mankind has been emanated and put forth by divinity, yet, existence and the makeup and substance of divinity are very different from that for created beings and living creatures.  The living are to rely upon the awareness of divinity that is being imparted from GOD as revelation.   With this in view, Deity may be described as the combination of immortal, incorruptible, and inseparable aspects of spirit content (e.g., faith, holiness, longsuffering, love, wisdom, and wrath against sin).  Also, Deity may be understood and described by multiple appearances as active presence, and expressions of eternal purpose (e.g., atonement, forgiveness, incarnation, rebirth, salvation, sanctification).

While GOD is a spirit—and believers must worship (acknowledge, praise, reverence) him in spirit and in truth—GOD also is the origin, source of, and exalted sovereign who governs and rules over all that pertains to continued existence for whatever is carnal, material, natural, and spiritual.  (Instead of human attitudes, behavior and conduct, focus for GOD is upon life experience (e.g., birth, death, reproduction, joining of spirits through sexual activity), divine operations, and sacred process.)  As exalted and sovereign with authority and power over all, GOD is free to be in relationship using agents, diversity, flesh, form, personness, sacred events (we say, miracles), spokespersons (we say, messengers, prophets), immaterial things, things natural as well as things supernatural.

Christian believers accept that GOD has appeared and operated in the creation of heaven, earth, the holy angels, and the many other forms of life that appear such as animals, birds, insects, and the sacred beasts of heaven.  We therefore speak of the Holy Spirit as an irreplaceable aspect of the GODhead.  In addition to the Holy Spirit (known as the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Prophecy, and the Spirit of Truth), followers of Jesus Christ are to acknowledge the Savior as “the Word,” “the Everlasting Father,” and a peculiar appearance of “the Almighty Father” upon the earth to resolve conflicts and disputes through judgment (application of divine law).

There is far more that could be said, and that must be correctly understood and spiritually taken into account.  (For example, with the conclusion of judgment signaled by the Lake of Fire and the second death, various dispensations established to buttress sacred law, maintain cosmic order as well as to address the specific attributes and needs of the created will be completed, ended, removed and replaced.  Included are decay, mortality, rebuke, redemption, separation from GOD, and shame.  What remains will be recognized as accord, peace and unity.  The actions and formal proclamation that the former things are finished will appear as “the handing over of the kingdom.”  In fact, it will be the celebration of Sabbath, and Creation’s return to Divine Rest.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

  1. Clearly you are a trinitarian and in your region it also seems the custom that you believe all Christians do believe Jesus is also god, but according to the Scriptures is Jesus the son of God. He is one with his heavenly Father like parents are one with each other and with their children, but are not the same person.

god has given the authority to his only begotten beloved son. But that son does know the Father is greater than him, who was lower than angels. God was, is and always shall be the greatest. He is an eternal Spirit Who had no beginning, no birth, can not be seen by man or they would fall death, can not be harmed by man, can not be tempted and can not die. Jesus was seen by many, was tempted more than once and really died.

The celebration of the Sacred Sabbath is something we might expect in the Kingdom of God. But in the mean time it is up to man to make the choice and to go for the truth, preparing himself or herself to be found worthy by Christ Jesus to be allowed to enter the Kingdom of God.

    • Perhaps, my understanding of the Sabbath will be clearer through my blog, (09/20/2014) GOD and The Framework of Time. Thank you for sharing.

      • We totally agree that “Having ability and authority to direct and orchestrate events and occurrences within all the spheres of existence, including the material and physical realm (we say, the forces of nature, the natural world), GOD also has control over conception, fertility, birth, aging, death, decay, growth, maturation, and resurrection. ”
In case we would follow His directions, like having a Sabbath year for the ground a.o. regulations, we would have less problems.

Human beings interrupted or played with the divine order. Our mind should make response to the revelation of divinity, but for lots of people this seems to be very difficult. God allows time for man to find their way. But man has to recognise that secular knowledge and “human events” can not completely and correctly establish right knowing of God. Therefore God has provided His Word brought by men of God, written down in the Holy Scriptures. That Word should we take above the words and dogmatic teachings of man.

It is not that divinity would operate through Incarnation, a thought which is not liked by God. He also never incarnated or let somebody incarnates. We do agree that sacred events (people say, miracles), brings us an active presence of God which we can feel and understand.

You are also right in saying that we have a “God, who is immortal, immutable and unchanging” though you seem to believe Jesus to be also God, which would mean that Jesus did his own will (which he did not according to his saying and the Bible its saying) and that Jesus did not die (though once again this would be in contradiction with the Biblical writings). Also Jesus being lower than angels would be in contradiction because God is, was and always shall be the Most High.

We do agree with “Sabbath is an aspect of continuing relationship with divinity that itself does not age or alter.” and therefore are convinced man has to work on the relationship with the eternal heavenly Father. Jesus opened or paved to way to come to that restored relationship and to become set apart, doing the Will of God in all things.
