Death, inheritance, judgment, punishment, and Christ cursed by the cross are topics, today.  Salvation for created beings and living creatures from divinity was made visible through the operations of GOD in Jesus Christ and the cross.  The possibilities that GOD will  forgive sin, remove any curse, or transform death and suffering have been unforgettably established upon the earth as ongoing, and in progress.  Given that the death penalty ends a person’s life, it seems excessive that a curse would be placed upon the dead.  With this in view, the curse by the cross pertains to the things that continue following a person’s death as well as to their final judgment.  To clarify their accountability and duty as covenant partners with GOD, the divine law was to be proclaimed in terms of two opposing conditions, blessing and cursing.  All who entered the covenant of Moses were to become holy and set apart (sanctified); those who violated covenant law would come under curse becoming defiled, profane, and unclean—by their own blood and inner substance in life as well as in their death.  Those who enter the covenant of Christ are endowed with divine gifts from the abundance bestowed upon Jesus.  Readers are asked to consider the following from the Bible, and the presentation below:

Leviticus 20:  7-11, King James Version (KJV):  7 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy:  for I am the LORD your God.  8 And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them:  I am the LORD which sanctify you.  9 For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death:  he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.  10 And the man that committeth adultery with another man’s wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.  11 And the man that lieth with his father’s wife hath uncovered his father’s nakedness:  both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Psalms 16:  9-11, KJV:  9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth:  my flesh also shall rest in hope.  10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.  11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life:  in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Ephesians 4:  4-8, KJV:  4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;  5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,  6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.  7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.  8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

1st Peter 1:  18-21, KJV:  18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;  19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:  20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,  21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

Jesus died on the cross, He became a curse (Gal.3:13) and because He was cursed, we’re not cursed anymore.?

Why stop there? What about the curse of sickness and disease? What about the
curse of poverty?

The curse of the law had three basic divisions.
what are they?
wondering if I can stump you tonight?
There is a scripture in Corinthians that tells us about these things that Jesus did for us. Do you know which one it is?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:  For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat:  I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:  I was a stranger, and ye took me not in:  naked, and ye clothed me not:  sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.  Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?  Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.  And these shall go away into everlasting punishment:  but the righteous into life eternal.  (Matthew 25:  41-46, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  The Cross Broke Every Curse? (02/25/2016); Curses, Tithes and The Cross (02/26/2016); The Bridge To Heaven (01/27/2016); Christ A Curse? (01/25/2016); The Lamb of GOD (08/19/2015); Saved by His Death? (05/13/2015)

“Camille”, many mature Christian believers agree that through operations of the Holy Spirit, blood and truth from the cross are flowing despite time and space to here and now.  It is a benefit and blessing (we say, gift) from the cross that Jesus Christ has come under the condemnation of divine law written into the covenant contract through Moses.  Being hung or impaled upon a pole was more than simply a harsh punishment that resulted in death for malefactors.  A divine curse would descend as a peculiar covering upon their inheritance.  Members of the earlier generation determine and preset conditions for the existence of their children, and those who later will be in kinship as descendants.  In the same way their sins would continue to challenge their offspring and seed after them to the third and fourth generation (as many as 160 years), the consequences and effects of their sins would continue indefinitely, and impact balance and stability for the entire universe.  Jesus Christ is released from the curse, and does not see corruption in the grave through the sacred operations of grace, inheritance, mercy in judgment, and resurrection by the Father.  Because of the Savior’s continuing ministry as our Risen Lord, born again believers receive sacred gifts and status as joint-heirs with Christ.  Our inheritance is covered by divine blessing and love.  Consider how this is stated using the language of Scripture:

(1.)  Exodus 34:  4-8, KJV:  4 And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone.  5 And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.  6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,  7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.  8 And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.

(2.)  Deuteronomy 27:  26, KJV:  26 Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.

(3.)  Deuteronomy 21:  22-23, KJV:  22 And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree:  23 His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.

(4.)  Acts 2:  30-32, KJV:  30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;  31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.  32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

There is far more to be said, understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  Romans 6:  3-5, KJV:  3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?  4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death:  that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.  5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
