ADAM AND EVE CAST OUT OF EDEN

Today, focus is on mankind’s offense against GOD as having been more than an accident, or an “innocent” mistake.  The error by Adam and his mate must be viewed from a comprehensive divine perspective, for it went beyond expressing covetousness, greed, presumption, and lust for “forbidden fruit.”  The disobedience and rejection of divine law committed by the pair was also a confounding of authority and accountability for governing the earth, a denial of divine love, the interruption of operations to fulfill eternal purposes, and the disruption of spiritual order throughout the universe.  One of the fighters at “Yahoo! Answers (India)” using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information appears) posted the following:

So god punished mankind because adam and eve ate his apples?

sounds a little harsh dont you think?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For Adam was first formed, then Eve.  And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.  Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.  (1st Timothy 2:  13-15, King James Version, KJV)

“Anonymous”, you need to see the things about punishment and sin from a “divine point of view.”  Mankind must now respond to conditions established through divine law as sanctions and outcomes for obedience/disobedience.  When speaking of “sin”, men often rely upon formal language that describes transgressions and violations within a broad system of fixed rules that allow “worth” to be assigned and determined, and permits conflicts and disputes to be resolved on the basis of familiar principles, formal standards, and shared values.  However, the operations of sin must be understood within the frameworks for sacred not secular knowledge.  Sin is no common object, does not contain spirit substance from GOD, and does not exist as a creation from divinity.  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and all divine order.  Sin is impersonal, irrational, self-destructive, and unfeeling.  Even so, sin has “direction”, effect, and presence; and sin may dominate awareness and self-will in created beings and living creatures.  Divinity responds to sin as more than simply a negative reaction, or a response to abstract and mechanical elements that appear as normal aspects to living.  Sin is malicious; disrupts regular communion, exchange, and interaction (we say, relationships) between the Creator and the created; and corrupts and defiles the oneness without sameness expressed as eternal purpose.  Thus, sin is also described as betrayal, covenant-breaking, failing to keep ones word, ingratitude, and treachery.  Consider the following:

(1.)  Ephesians 3:  14-19, King James Version (KJV):  14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,  15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,  16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;  17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,  18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;  19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

(2.)  1st Corinthians 15:  20-23, KJV:  20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.  21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.  22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.  23 But every man in his own order:  Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Romans 5:  17-21, KJV:  17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)  18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.  19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.  20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:  21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, the discussion of revelation and spiritual growth is continued.  Because the makeup and substance of divinity are eternal and immutable, outcomes for many divine operations (e.g., forgiveness, Incarnation, proclamation, promise, rebirth, the second death) will be enduring, fixed, and unchanging.  The GODhead is the fullness of all sacred spirit, however, can only be realized by created beings and living creatures through discrete persons and specific events.  Thus, the process of GOD for mankind is one of revelation wherein things that are active, present, and unchanging become known through discovery, gradual growth, instruction in sacred knowledge, and operations of ones own inner spirit.  The believer suffers no loss through relationships and transactions with divinity.  GOD does not lie, cheat, or “bait and switch.”  Divine truth is eternal and does not change; however, mankind’s acceptance, awareness and willing submission to the truth does.  It is by no means a betrayal or a violation of the trust appearing among created beings and living creatures that the Creator is also a God of Judgment.  Very early, all the necessary instruction regarding sin and judgment are available through the simple account of Adam’s fall.  That divine law also entails obligation and consequences for disobedience are described, and those who rely on divine love for their existence and the benefits of life are to acknowledge the word spoken by GOD always expresses sovereign authority and power.  Judgment is an ongoing sacred process that allows the completion and perfection of Creation, and is not intended for annihilation, destruction, and elimination of life.  The wrath of GOD against sin is a permanent aspect of divine makeup, not merely the expression of emotions and feelings that may come and go.  Divine wrath is not concealed or made something secret; and must be understood as kept in balance with other aspects of the divine nature (e.g., compassion, joy, longsuffering, mercy, restraint).

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.  Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.  And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:  6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.  7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?  8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.  9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?  10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.  (Hebrews 12:  3-10, King James Version, KJV)

THE BATTLE AXE:  Acorns Become Oak Trees? (02/09/2017)—(5.)  Genesis 2:  15-17, King James Version (KJV):  15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.  16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:  17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it:  for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

(6.)  Exodus 20:  1-7, KJV:  1 And God spake all these words, saying,  2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.  3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.  4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.  5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them:  for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;  6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.  7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

(7.)  Deuteronomy 30:  19-20, KJV:  19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing:  therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:  20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him:  for he is thy life, and the length of thy days:  that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

(8.)  Micah 1:  2-7, KJV:  2 Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is:  and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple.  3 For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.  4 And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place.  5 For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?  6 Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard:  and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof.  7 And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate:  for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.

(9.)  Revelation 3:  17-22, KJV:  17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:  18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.  19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten:  be zealous therefore, and repent.  20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.  21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.  22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

(10.)  Mark 4:  28-32, KJV:  28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.  29 But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.  30 And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?  31 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:  32 But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.

(11.)  Isaiah 60:  19-22, KJV:  19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee:  but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.  20 Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself:  for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.  21 Thy people also shall be all righteous:  they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.  22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation:  I the LORD will hasten it in his time.

Points are shared, today, on recognizing Jesus Christ as a physical person, and a spirit person.  Even from before the time of his birth, for anyone to correctly recognize who Jesus is there must be operations of the Holy Spirit, including being touched by blood, correction, and truth from the cross.  One of the many fighters at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

Luke 24:39 Look at My hands and My feet. It is I Myself. Touch Me and see–for a spirit does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”?

Does this mean that Jesus did not die, if we read it using common sense?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast:  The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.  Philip cometh and telleth Andrew:  and again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus.  And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.  Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone:  but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.  He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.  If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be:  if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.  Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour:  but for this cause came I unto this hour.  Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.  The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered:  others said, An angel spake to him.  Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.  (John 12:  20-30, KJV)

“Anonymous”, correctly recognizing Jesus Christ requires discernment (the ability to use ones own spirit content to distinguish and connect to spirit substance from divinity that appears in actions, events, other persons, purposes, statements, etc.), a spiritual gift that must be provided by GOD.  Both before and following his crucifixion, burial, and resurrection, only those closely associated with Jesus of Nazareth had the ability to recognize him in a crowd.  Jesus was plain looking with no outstanding physical features that set him apart (we say, he was nondescript).  He did not continually “glow” from glory as Moses did at one time following his communion with GOD in the mountains.  Surrounded by the twelve apostles and an ever-increasing multitude of disciples, the Lord became “impressive” only when he acted and spoke in the authority and power of his priesthood.  For this reason, someone who could betray him was sought, one of his close followers, who could approach him, even give him a kiss, and identify him in the darkness of night.  In the same way Mary mistook Jesus to be a stranger (the gardener) at the tomb, and those on the road to Emmaus could not recognize the Lord until he broke bread and offered thanks to the Father, the Resurrected One is not recognized among us today by those relying upon “common sense.”  To “recognize” the Lord and those sent as his ambassadors, believers must apply their own faith and sacred knowledge as well as their experiences through fellowship and ongoing practice of the sacraments.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  Matthew 14:  23-27, King James Version (KJV):  23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.  24 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves:  for the wind was contrary. 25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.  26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.  27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

(2.)  Jeremiah 29:  11-13, KJV:  11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.  12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.  13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

(3.)  Acts 7:  54-56, KJV:  54 When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.  55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,  56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

There is far more to be said, understood, and spiritually taken in.  (For example, (4.)  Revelation 1:  13-18, KJV:  13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.  14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;  15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.  16 And he had in his right hand seven stars:  and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword:  and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.  17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:  18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Points are shared, today, that expand upon a “caution” against shortsightedness when responding to transgender issues.  A few days ago, I shared an email to President Obama of the United States of America through the White House Website.   The reply I received was a message from the President regarding drug addiction.  Consider the following Note and comment from my Facebook page, and the further discussion below:

Federal Transgender Law?
Michael Andrew Williams—Sunday, May 15, 2016

The following response was just shared at “Yahoo! Answers;” the question and its explanation also is below:

I have begun to consider the demand that transgender children be allowed to participate in the same gym classes and sports teams in schools that receive Federal funds. At some point the issue of shared locker-rooms and showers absolutely must be addressed. Young girls treasure their shared experiences with field hockey, lacrosse, soccer, and softball. Adults may easily become “accepting of change and differences,” however, for those in the tentative times for growing up, how do you explain to children that other girls also may have male private parts. (Many mothers may have bathed their boys and girls together in the same tub at ages 3-5; so their girls are not “ignorant” of differences.  Even so, that was “in private” and at home.)  The embarrassment is not simply to the President, his wife, and daughters. The “best minds of the nation” are claiming to have examined the issues and options, and clearly, the same inadequacy demonstrated by the House and Senate in refusing to staff and support the third branch of government (the Supreme Court) has exposed America to the condemnation of the U. N. and the World.  Most tragic of all, where the shabby and ungodly thinking is not put aside, American girls will come to feel totally betrayed by their parents.

Does anyone else feel concerned for their daughters about this whole transgender bathroom issue?

I  have heard that Obama wants all public schools to allow transgender  kids to use the bathroom they identify themselves as. This really  concerns me because I have two daughters, ages 7 and 9. It horrifies me  to know that there might possibly come one day that my daughters might  be in the same bathroom with boys. This really disgusts me very much and  I’m glad Obama’s time is up in office.

What has happened to our country? A president of the United States  allowing people with mental problems to use a bathroom of the sex they  identify themselves as? If this does happen, I’m not sure what I’m going  to do because I cannot afford private school. My wife and I are  contemplating home schooling if this really does happen.

Does anyone else share the same concerns as me?

COMMENT:  (Michael Andrew Williams) Some persons responding to the question (posed by Louis) associated the bathroom issue with gender, and threats of rape and sexual assault; however, the issues pertain more to coming of age, emotional, psychological, and spiritual development as well as the acquisition of sexual identity.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For the Lord will not cast off for ever:  But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.  For he doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.  To crush under his feet all the prisoners of the earth.  To turn aside the right of a man before the face of the most High,  To subvert a man in his cause, the Lord approveth not.  Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?  Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good?  Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins?  Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the Lord.  Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens.  (Lamentations 3:  31-41, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  The Cross and The Pharisees? (04/21/2016); The Gender of GOD? (12/29/2015); Gender and Salvation? (10/01/2015); Religious Liberty Not Authority? (09/07/2015); Jesus As America’s President? (05/20/2015); Divine Knowledge of Human Hurt? (03/02/2015); The Gender of Angels? (10/09/2012); Sin Unknown? (10/10/2012)

While there should be little argument and quarrel that current Federal law is adequate to require a determined National effort to respect and uplift transgender persons regarding the use of public restrooms, it may not go without saying that a massive program of re-education also must be established, funded, staffed, and properly implemented that will erase aspects of our existing culture, and multiple layers of process for life and interaction, here.  Transgender children currently have needs for instruction and support that have that will require new focus, and careful attention.  Given there is great diversity for sex education in our many schools (e.g., some beginning as early as age 10, others not until middle school, still others, not until high school or after), home training and preparation must be made reasonably uniform, and brought into harmony with school curricula and programs.  Many parents will have to be re-educated where they are to answer the concerns and questions of their own children.  It sounds “innocent”, at first, to say, “girls may have a penis, too!”  As an academic statement, many can agree with a value that it should not be disturbing or embarrassing to young girls that they may see some of their schoolmates will have the same sexual parts as boys (and vice versa) when required to shower after certain activities in school (e.g., gym class; athletic competition; team practice).  However, at this point, it can not be authoritatively stated at what age children are most able to make this change, or adjustment that is more easily possible for adults.  Available developmental studies that have not focused upon such questions will have to be carefully re-examined, and new studies quickly prepared.

There is far more to be said, understood, and spiritually taken in.  (For example, Be not deceived.  It is a legitimate argument that the public must not become focused upon the money (how bad do you want it?), because the issue of making merchandise of our children (we say, prostitution, trafficking) will linger and taint any benefit or legacy our young would have otherwise received.  Until some of these issues are properly addressed, we should not be surprised to see children insisting upon their own integrity, and “out on strike” against attending their presently “unprepared” schools.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

That the cross was intended for reconciliation and to restore trust are in view, today.  Unlike when he existed within the fullness of GODhead and spirit, as one upon the earth, and in flesh, Jesus had to grow gradually and be built up within a human relationship with divinity.  While there were many encouragements and supports, the Lord was required to go through the same experiences of discovery, hesitation, and uncertainty as every other created being and living creature.  Following his last Passover supper, and before his arrest, Jesus had to experience a “breakthrough,” to arrive at the necessary level of trust required to approach the cross.  He agonized at Gethsemane, and found the strength to display the multiple dimensions of trust that include acceptance, accord, commitment, conviction, dependence, dutifulness, hope (i.e., proper expectation), and submission.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Jomar” (Level 1 with 12 points, a member since March 16, 2016) posted the following:

When God created Jesus Christ He puts a lot of trust that jesus will be not betray him like lucifer?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  The good man is perished out of the earth:  and there is none upright among men:  they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.  That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire:  so they wrap it up.  The best of them is as a brier:  the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge:  the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.  Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide:  keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.  For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.  Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation:  my God will hear me.  Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.  I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me:  he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.  (Micah 7:  2-9, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Revelation and The Cross (03/27/2016); 3 Persons, 3 Minds? (02/03/2016); Knowing? (05/24/2015); How Do You Know? (01/08/2013)

“Jomar”, trust that, whenever we take up the Scriptures, through operations of the Holy Spirit, blood, correction, and truth from the cross are flowing to here and now.  Mature Christian believers generally acknowledge that the decision to entrust the work of salvation to the aspect within GODhead that we speak of as the Son, and the Word, had to appear among mankind in flesh (we say, incarnate) as Jesus Christ.  The issues of relationship, separation, and trust did not arise during the sacred operations for Creation, and while there was fullness of unity as person, active presence and spirit.  Such features as authority, character, distance, duties, functions, and nature become critical to a complete and correct disclosure of Deity (we say, revelation) that will make divinity knowable and known to created beings and living creatures.

Incarnation required those many elements identified with the living as finite and temporal beings—for example, communication, growth, lack of full sacred knowledge, learning, maturity, “meekness” (we say, being receptive to divine spirit), obedience, petition, praise, restraint, thanksgiving, and uncertainty.  More than this, spirit substance from the makeup of divinity was imparted to Christ (the Anointed One) as deposit or endowment setting him apart as consecrated to GOD.  Included were inseparable aspects of Deity such as faith, forbearance, forgiveness, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

Even though Jesus was chosen and elect to complete the works for redemption and salvation through suffering and death, the Savior was challenged continually to correctly discern and hold to specific eternal purposes.  As one among the living upon the earth, Jesus was exposed, at risk, and vulnerable to sin as the holy angels had been.  While sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and all divine order generated by law, and sin may dominate awareness and self-will in the created, sin has not been fashioned or put forth by divinity; and sin may not influence divine will.  Portraying the frailty of mankind, balance, endurance, and stamina were greater concerns for the Lord than his own desire, fear of death, intent, or personal agenda.  Consider again how these ideas are shared using language from the Bible:

(1.)  Proverbs 3:  5-8, King James Version (KJV):   5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.  7 Be not wise in thine own eyes:  fear the LORD, and depart from evil.  8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

(2.)  Job 4:  17-19, KJV:  17 Shall mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be more pure than his maker?  18 Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly:  19 How much less in them that dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, which are crushed before the moth?

(3.)  Job 15:  14-16, KJV:  14 What is man, that he should be clean? and he which is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?  15 Behold, he putteth no trust in his saints; yea, the heavens are not clean in his sight.  16 How much more abominable and filthy is man, which drinketh iniquity like water?

(4.)  Jeremiah 17:  5-8, KJV:  5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.  6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.  7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.  8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

There is far more to be said, understood, and spiritually taken in.  (For example, (5.)  Matthew 26:  40-42, KJV:  40 And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?  41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation:  the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.  42 He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Scripture points are shared, today, on Christ crying out from the cross.  On behalf of the prophets and apostles that were sent, Jesus made a cry to GOD expressing their despair and frustration at having only finite tools for the ministry to mankind.  This uncharacteristic exclamation is found repeatedly throughout the Bible.  Consider the following Scriptures, and the presentation below:

Numbers 11:  11-15, King James Version (KJV):  11 And Moses said unto the LORD, Wherefore hast thou afflicted thy servant? and wherefore have I not found favour in thy sight, that thou layest the burden of all this people upon me?  12 Have I conceived all this people? have I begotten them, that thou shouldest say unto me, Carry them in thy bosom, as a nursing father beareth the sucking child, unto the land which thou swarest unto their fathers?  13 Whence should I have flesh to give unto all this people? for they weep unto me, saying, Give us flesh, that we may eat.  14 I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me.  15 And if thou deal thus with me, kill me, I pray thee, out of hand, if I have found favour in thy sight; and let me not see my wretchedness.

Jeremiah 15:  15-18, KJV:  15 O LORD, thou knowest:  remember me, and visit me, and revenge me of my persecutors; take me not away in thy longsuffering:  know that for thy sake I have suffered rebuke.  16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart:  for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.  17 I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of thy hand:  for thou hast filled me with indignation.  18 Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, which refuseth to be healed? wilt thou be altogether unto me as a liar, and as waters that fail?

Lamentations 3:  40-45, KJV:  40 Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD.  41 Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens.  42 We have transgressed and have rebelled:  thou hast not pardoned.  43 Thou hast covered with anger, and persecuted us:  thou hast slain, thou hast not pitied.  44 Thou hast covered thyself with a cloud, that our prayer should not pass through.  45 Thou hast made us as the offscouring and refuse in the midst of the people.

Luke 24:  13-17, KJV:  13 And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs.  14 And they talked together of all these things which had happened.  15 And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.  16 But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.  17 And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?

Galatians 3:  1-3, KJV:  1 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?  2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?  3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and withal how he had slain all the prophets with the sword.  Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow about this time.  And when he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and came to Beersheba, which belongeth to Judah, and left his servant there.  But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree:  and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.  And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat.  And he looked, and, behold, there was a cake baken on the coals, and a cruse of water at his head. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again.  And the angel of the LORD came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee.  And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God.  And he came thither unto a cave, and lodged there; and, behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and he said unto him, What doest thou here, Elijah?  And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts:  for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.  (1st Kings 19:  1-10, KJV)

“GrowABrainStem”, the sacred knowledge and practices necessary to answer you are still available, today, because the ministry of life and death shared by Jesus Christ is to exist for eternity.  Mature Christian believers trust that, despite time and space, through operations of the Holy Spirit, blood and truth from the cross are flowing to here and now.  It requires the application of ones own endowment of  inner Spirit from the makeup of GOD to acknowledge and recognize the spirit content within events, messages, and even other persons.  The Father and the Son did not betray or deny one another.  While Jesus declared the work upon the cross to be “complete” and “finished”, his birth, death, resurrection, and ascension are only part of a full work by divinity that was begun before the creation of the earth, and will continue after the present universe has been reconfigured.  The Savior has demonstrated the transition from life to death to life again, that makes possible the elimination of sin as an influence upon the living.  Answering as the Son of Man, Jesus was the divinely provided advocate, spokesperson, and substitute for the heirs of Adam who were to continue a priesthood upon the earth patterned after that in heaven.  In crying out upon the cross, the Redeemer voices the same confession, lament and petition made by many of the prophets.  Consider again how this is stated using language from the Bible:

(1.)  Job 3:  1-5, King James Version (KJV):  1 After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day.  2 And Job spake, and said,  3 Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived.  4 Let that day be darkness; let not God regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon it.  5 Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it.

(2.)  Lamentations 1:  20-22, KJV:  20 Behold, O LORD; for I am in distress: my bowels are troubled; mine heart is turned within me; for I have grievously rebelled:  abroad the sword bereaveth, at home there is as death.  21 They have heard that I sigh:  there is none to comfort me:  all mine enemies have heard of my trouble; they are glad that thou hast done it:  thou wilt bring the day that thou hast called, and they shall be like unto me.  22 Let all their wickedness come before thee; and do unto them, as thou hast done unto me for all my transgressions:  for my sighs are many, and my heart is faint.

(3.)  Daniel 9:  8-12, KJV:  8 O LORD, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee.  9 To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;  10 Neither have we obeyed the voice of the LORD our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.  11 Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him.  12 And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil:  for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem.

There is far more to be said, understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Jonah 4:  8-11, KJV:  8 And it came to pass, when the sun did arise, that God prepared a vehement east wind; and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah, that he fainted, and wished in himself to die, and said, It is better for me to die than to live.  9 And God said to Jonah, Doest thou well to be angry for the gourd? And he said, I do well to be angry, even unto death.  10 Then said the LORD, Thou hast had pity on the gourd, for the which thou hast not laboured, neither madest it grow; which came up in a night, and perished in a night:  11 And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Scripture points describing the peculiar class of sin called iniquity are shared, today.  Atonement must be made for iniquity just as for sins committed in ignorance.  Iniquity and sin oppose the continued existence of divine law, the continued existence of GOD the Creator and Law Giver as well as the existence of Creation established by divinity through law.  Iniquity contends against truth, and is therefore labeled as “perverse”.  Given sin operates through awareness and self-will within created beings and living creatures, release and restoration from iniquity requires divine operations to replace the inborn spirit, and establish in its place an imparted Spirit from the makeup of Deity.  Consider the following verses from Scripture and the presentation below:

Matthew 24:  11-13, King James Version (KJV):  11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.  12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.  13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

2nd Thessalonians 2:  7-12, KJV:  7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work:  only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.  8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:  9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,  10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:  12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

2nd Timothy 2:  19, KJV:  19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Micah 7:  18-19, KJV:  18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.  19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

Does God forgive repeated willful sin?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:  Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:  But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.  And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD:  for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD:  for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.  Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:  If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.  Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.  (Jeremiah 31:  31-37, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  All Sin Is Willful? (10/20/2015); Penance? (10/09/2015); Repentance, Sin and Willpower (09/08/2015); Guilt and Ignorance? (12/04/2014); Joined To Christ Through Faith (12/05/2014)

“Jakub”, mature Christian believers understand “repeated willful sin” to be what is called “iniquity” in the Bible.  As a peculiar appearance of sin, iniquity is no material or spirit thing, and is no living entity.  Addictions (e.g., alcohol, gambling, sexual promiscuity, speeding), various bad habits—even thumb sucking, scratching, and swearing—and incorrigible behavior showing lack of self-discipline and restraint often have been described as appearances of iniquity.  Imbalance, injustice, and lack of equality for commitment and compliance shown by covenant partners are labeled “iniquity”.  Iniquity is also called “cherished sins,” “hidden sins” and “lust”.  Like “premeditated crimes,” iniquitous sin is not the same in judgment as “sins of ignorance.”  Because associated with counterfeit love, deceit, and false professions of belief, iniquity is often confused with betrayal and hypocrisy.  Forgiveness, repentance, and atonement are divine responses to sin that reveal the power of Deity to reconfigure the character and nature of the living.  Iniquity specially opposes and resists divine love, righteousness, and the operations of the Holy Spirit seen as rebirth and regeneration.  Here are some points to consider, made in the language of verses from the Bible:

(1.)  Proverbs 16:  5-7, King James Version (KJV):  5 Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORDthough hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.  6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged:  and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.

(2.)  Romans 6:  16-19, KJV:  16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?  17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.  18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.  19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh:  for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

(3.)  Titus 2:  11-14, KJV:  11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,  12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;  13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;  14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

There is far more to be said, understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Matthew 7:  21-23, KJV:  21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you:  depart from me, ye that work iniquity.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
