Jean Cousin, The Last Judgment

Today, reply is made to a question on accepting divine judgment against family members.  Judgment pertains to the unshakable majesty and sovereignty of GOD.  The saved do not become all-knowing and omniscient.  In the same way we will not get to meet and be friends with every other person on the earth during our lifetime, we may not get to be in direct contact with, and come to know everyone in heaven during eternity.  As witnesses to their righteous judgment, believers will see everyone sent to the lake of fire and the second death.  Christ will declare them “workers of iniquity” and will say, “I never knew you.”  Similarly, the saved will have selected recall of sins and suffering from the earth as though many never occurred.  The changes made through resurrection will render those we loved on the earth knowable only as pleasant memories, and unrecognizable as those we may continue to love who also have eternal life.  It is GOD’s revealed intent that none should perish, yet, the demands of divine law must go forward.  GOD is no less divine when we as his children do not get to have our way.  The authority, divinity and righteousness of GOD are immutable and remain unchanged; therefore, our obedience, respect, and reverence may increase, yet, should never become less.  In the same way parents must acknowledge their own children may become defiant, incorrigible, and come under the punishments of law beyond the home that apply to the larger community and all humankind, children also must accept that their parents may come under the condemnation of divine law and the demands of GOD upon his Creation.  One of the fighters at “Yahoo! Answers (India)” using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information appears) posted the following:

Christians, would you still worship God if you knew your mother was burning alive in the flames of hell for eternity?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  My soul yearns for you in the night;  in the morning my spirit longs for you.  When your judgments come upon the earth,  the people of the world learn righteousness.  But when grace is shown to the wicked,  they do not learn righteousness;  even in a land of uprightness they go on doing evil  and do not regard the majesty of the Lord.  Lord, your hand is lifted high,  but they do not see it.  Let them see your zeal for your people and be put to shame;  let the fire reserved for your enemies consume them.  (Isaiah 26:  9-11, New International Version, NIV)

“Anonymous”, accepting divine judgment against family, friends, and even ourselves first requires we become transformed to acknowledge continually that GOD is spirit, and is not limited by frameworks of emotion, social conventions, time, and space as are created beings and living creatures.  We could say, however, GOD is “limited” by divine law, and wrath against sin that are permanent aspects of his sacred makeup.  Christian believers seek a continuing relationship with GOD, however, this requires they all gradually change, grow, and become mature (i.e., balanced, complete, consistent, stable) as vessels of “sacred knowledge” and spirit substance imparted from GOD.  All start as sinners whose awareness and self-will regularly focus on expressing exaggerated pride, self-interest, self-promotion, and self-will.  Following water baptism that depicts the death, burial, and resurrection of their inborn spirit, the believer is “born again” and can then “grow up again” as an offspring of GOD.  Even then, having become lawful and legitimate as sons and daughters of GOD who are living on the earth and mortal, believers do not immediately arrive at a full acceptance of divine authority, the commitment to endure suffering for the name of Jesus Christ, correct understanding and obedience of divine law, or respectful submission to judgment and the multiple operations of GOD (e.g., atonement, chastisement, forgiveness, sanctification, suffering, the harvesting of believers from the earth at the Second Coming).  Consider again the following from the holy writings that include the demands of the law and warning for the church (Holy Bible, New International Version®, NIV® Copyright ©1973, 1978, 1984, 2011 by Biblica):

(1.)  Job 2:  7-10, NIV:  7 So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord and afflicted Job with painful sores from the soles of his feet to the crown of his head.  8 Then Job took a piece of broken pottery and scraped himself with it as he sat among the ashes.  9 His wife said to him, “Are you still maintaining your integrity? Curse God and die!”  10 He replied, “You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?”  In all this, Job did not sin in what he said.

(2.)  Revelation 3:  19-22, NIV:  19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.  20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.  21 To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.  22 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”

(3.)  Luke 14:  25-27, NIV:  25 Large crowds were traveling with Jesus, and turning to them he said:  26 “If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even their own life—such a person cannot be my disciple.  27 And whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.

(4.)  1st Peter 4:  14-16, NIV:  14 If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. 15 If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. 16 However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.

(5.)  Revelation 2:  21-23, NIV:  21 I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling.  22 So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways.  23 I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (6.)  Romans 7:  4-6, NIV:  4 So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God.  5 For when we were in the realm of the flesh, the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in us, so that we bore fruit for death.  6 But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, rebirth, repentance, and life from the cross are topics.  Necessary gifts for revealing divinity (i.e., making the immortal, unseen Creator knowable, known and visible to created beings and living creatures) were provided through the virgin birth, the death of Jesus on the cross, and the Savior‘s resurrection.  Sinners who acknowledge divine forgiveness may become “reborn”.  While all Christian believers do not serve as pastors, pulpit preachers, and teachers within the church, all must “fight the good fight of faith” by gradually acquiring and applying sacred knowledge, longsuffering, patience, and perseverance.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers (Singapore)” using the ID “Zari” (Level 1 with 2 points, a member since December 7, 2016) posted the following:

Does God give second chances when youve messed up?

I read stories of God restoring those who sinned such as Peter. I have repented but i feel God will not restore me and im tempted to just wallow and die

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.  And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them:  and they were sore afraid.  And the angel said unto them, Fear not:  for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.  For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.  And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.  (Luke 2:  8-12, King James Version, KJV)

“Zari”, the birth of Jesus Christ, the Christmas story, introduced special mechanisms from GOD to release mankind and all creation from the bondage of death and sin.  By receiving the imparted Spirit from GOD that will indwell a believer, the living come to know GOD as an aspect of their own content.  Included are inseparable features from the makeup of Deity such as faith, forbearance, forgiveness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  However, these things require multiple levels of sacred knowledge and practice to understand them completely, and have them operate in our day-to-day living in the most correct way.  The virgin birth of our Savior is a single link within a chain of sacred elements that may not be broken and separated.  The innocence and purity we see in the infant and in the virgin must be continued through the many episodes of life challenge, growth, learning, and death.  Like you and I, Jesus gradually had to become balanced, complete, consistent, stable, and useful (we say, mature).  Through operations of the same Holy Spirit that established heaven and earth, sinners become “born again.”  Their inborn spirit must die and be buried, so to speak, and they must be reborn from divine DNA.  The ongoing permanent changes in the living and their full transformation to exist as immortal, incorruptible, perfected life companions of divinity will be finished at the Advent (we also say, the harvest, the Rapture, the Second Coming) of Jesus.  Christian believers therefore all are called “the children of GOD” and “the new creation.”  Even so, those who are reborn also must “grow up again” while facing the same life challenges as everyone else upon the earth.  Yes, there will be disappointments, human error, mistakes, problems, and even, sins; however, believers will “bounce back”, and persevere.  They will “fight the good fight of faith” by continuing to acknowledge GOD through praise, prayer, repentance, and unselfish service.  Consider the following:

(1.)  1st John 1:  5-10, King James Version (KJV):  5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.  6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:  7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.  8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

(2.)  Hebrews 12:  3-8, KJV:  3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.  4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.  5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:  6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.  7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?  8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

(3.)  Revelation 3:  18-21, KJV:  18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.  19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten:  be zealous therefore, and repent.  20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock:  if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.  21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, focus is on the fact there first must be rebirth before a sinner may accomplish repentance.  The lasting change a living person must experience to become a new creation before GOD can not be accomplished through applications of their own finite intellect, skills, talents, and self-will.  Multiple divine operations are required that must be understood as all-inclusive, fundamental, and profound.  Those who become “born again” also must “grow up again” and complete the transformation to exist as life companions with immortal, incorruptible divinity.  The writer at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Paul Martin” (Level 1 with 209 points, a member since June 14, 2015) posted the following:

Is repentance important to change oneself to become a better person?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.  But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,  Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;  Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;  That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.  (Titus 3:  3-7, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Accepting the Divine Will? (12/06/2016); A Different Spirit Content? (11/29/2016); Become Like Jesus Christ? (10/27/2016); Spirit Content From GOD? (09/26/2016); Spirit Process not Feelings? (09/21/2016); Learning From A Spirit? (08/25/2016); Conversion is by GOD? (08/23/2016); To Him That Hath… (07/08/2016)

“Paul Martin”, genuine repentance is more than simply behavior modification, breaking bad habits, and self-improvement.  To repent is to turn from sin—that opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and divine order anchored by sacred law—by turning to divinity.  The transformation of a sinner to become a child of GOD requires operations of the divine will, rather than the finite intellect, self-discipline, or will power (we say, self-will) of mankind.  Permanent changes must be put into place that are totally ordered and structured in accordance with the character and nature of divine spirit substance, not the frameworks of time, space, carnal reason, or material, secular, and social practice.  Saying it a familiar way, “You must be born again.”  There must be a reconfiguration and re-patterning for all the aspects of origin and a person’s inner sources for such elements as assigning value, awareness, desire, exchange, focus, intent, purpose, and criteria for satisfaction.  Born again believers submit themselves to baptism as an operation of GOD wherein they are carried through the death of their inborn spirit, and rebirth from divine DNA, so to speak.  Having spirit content from the makeup of GOD (e.g., faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, wrath against sin), they are to “grow up again”, acquire sacred knowledge, fellowship with likeminded believers, serve GOD through their lifestyle and daily living, and gradually become mature as the children of GOD upon the earth.  Consider the following:

(1.)   John 3:  1-10, King James Version (KJV):  1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:  2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God:  for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.  3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?  5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.  8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth:  so is every one that is born of the Spirit.  9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?  10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?

(2.)  John 4:  23-24, KJV:  23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth:  for the Father seeketh such to worship him.  24 God is a Spirit:  and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  1st Peter 1:  18-25, KJV:  18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;  19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:  20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,  21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.  22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:  23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.  24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:  25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, points are shared on Black and minority people claiming the GOD of Israel as their own.  Many mistakenly seek to localize divine truth through academic disciplines and secular studies such as archeology, history, philology, philosophy, and physics.  On the basis of popular culture, long standing traditions, personal experiences, and travel others even seek to describe divinity as having origins on the basis of a location in time or space.  The oppressed, the poor and those who endure suffering are entitled to the comfort, correction, and salvation offered by GOD—not because of their geographical location upon the earth, their skin color, or their access to financial resources—because their origin in creation has been his own living heart, mind, and Spirit.  What men will receive from divinity may vary in accordance with diversity, divine law, and eternal purpose.  One of the fighters using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

Why do black “people” try to claim Judaism Christianity and Islam are black religions when they came from the middle east?

Are middle easterners black? No
Are North Africans black? No.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;  Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;  And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;  That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:  For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.  Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.  And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:  Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.  (Acts 17:  24-31, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  The Relationships With GOD? (11/30/2016); Is GOD A Racist? (11/27/2016);  Access Through The Cross? (05/11/2016);  Thoughts On The Kingdom? (11/18/2015); Diversity and the Church? (07/22/2015); Ye Are Abraham’s Seed (07/10/2015); Holiness (07/01/2015)

“Anonymous”, existence and divine truth are not shared on the basis of skin color.  Mature Christian believers acknowledge divinity as all-encompassing, omnipresent, and ubiquitous, for divinity exists as spirit substance that can not be manipulated or shut out, and is diffuse, unbounded, and without limit.  In addition to appearing through operations displaying divine authority, ownership, power, and sovereign will, the character, content and makeup of GOD are easily recognized as being supportive of coherence, continuity, life, order, truth, and lasting value.  Throughout the earth, Black people, the oppressed, and the poor are correct to seek change, deliverance, prosperity, relief, rescue, hope, and refreshing by repeatedly turning to the source of existence, judgment, and righteousness, the Creator who is capable of addressing every need.  Ethnic bias and racial hatred, so common among men, are in accordance with emotional, intellectual, psychological, and social processes under the influence of sin, and are in no way the expression of holiness, sanctity, and divine will.  Diversity is in accordance with divine preference and sacred prerogative.  Even so, the human condition is such that, all men face death, eternal destruction, hardships, and the continual challenges of life experience that include bereavement, discharging duty, establishing and maintaining healthy relationships, meeting obligations, and obtaining food and shelter.  Black people will be no less the creation of a true and wise GOD than the stars, the sun, or the universe.  Carefully consider how the following are intended for your understanding:

(1.)   Romans 3:  23, King James Version (KJV):  23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

(2.)  Romans 3:  29-30, KJV:  29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:  30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.

(3.)  Isaiah 63:  15-16, KJV:  15 Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory:  where is thy zeal and thy strength, the sounding of thy bowels and of thy mercies toward me? are they restrained?  16 Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not:  thou, O LORD, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Isaiah 54:  5-10, KJV:  5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.  6 For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.  7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.  8 In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.  9 For this is as the waters of Noah unto me:  for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.  10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, a reply is shared on requirements for continuing satisfying relationships with divinity.  For regular communication, exchange, and interaction with immortal, incorruptible divinity, created beings and living creatures must contain measures of the same inseparable spirit content that resides within the GODhead.  Included are faith, holiness, unselfish love, presence, purpose, righteousness, truth, and sovereign will replacing self-will.  Close relationships and intimacy with those in the home (parents, siblings, spouse, etc.) involve mutual acceptance and respect that, on the surface, may look to be equality or parity, yet, only occur through discipline and the lawful exercise of authority (e.g., allowances, concessions, forbearance, permission, restraint).  Family relationships are very different from those of couples sharing courtship, development, and exploration leading to marriage as well as different from relationships that are merely for sexual exploitation.  It is by the sovereign authority of GOD that the living receive divine forgiveness that expresses lovingkindness, and that also proclaims there is mercy in judgment.  Adoption of the Spirit, covenant, rebirth, redemption, and salvation are a few of the lawful mechanisms provided by GOD to establish created beings and living creatures as eternal companions with divinity.  One of the fighters at “Yahoo! 7 Answers (Australia)” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

If having a relationship with God is a choice, just like having a boyfriend or girlfriend is, what makes it so different with God?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.  The LORD is good to all:  and his tender mercies are over all his works.  All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee.  (Psalm 145:  8-10, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  A Different Spirit Content? (11/29/2016); Choice, Duty, and Obligation? (11/17/2016); Eternal Life From GOD (10/24/2016); His Children Are Sanctified (10/12/2016); The GOD Who Loves? (10/02/2016);  Spirit Content From GOD? (09/26/2016); The Seed of the Wicked (10/27/2015)

“Anonymous”, you seem to be lacking sacred knowledge and some very important basic ideas about divinity.  GOD is a spirit who has put forth material existence, diverse created beings and living creatures, multiple life processes (e.g., birth, aging, learning, maturity, death) as well as the sacred law and divine order that continues as our universe.  The Creator is the origin, owner, and sole sovereign authority over the makeup, purpose, and substance of all that exists.  Just as being connected in relationship with their own parents is not a matter of the child’s choice, or by the allowance and permission of the child as their seed, being in relationship with GOD is not on the basis of desires, likes and dislikes, or personal preferences.  Being in a full and satisfying relationship with Deity requires “adjustments” in how we behave, think about divinity, think about ourselves, think about others, think about time and space, understand what it is that establishes “quality” in a person’s life, etc., etc., etc.  Believers will contain and display spirit substance from the makeup of GOD such as faith, holiness, longsuffering, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  There will be regular communication (e.g., confession, praise, prayer, thanksgiving, worship), exchange, and interaction that focuses consciousness of GOD, and directs self-will to conformity with the revealed will of GOD.  Many young people today express disrespect and rejection of parental authority while still living in the home of their parents.  Even so, the law continues to acknowledge a clear relationship, and requires accountability and restraint from both the adults and the child.  Similarly, many deny GOD, yet, continue under the provisions of divine law, forbearance, forgiveness, redemption and salvation.  There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, those who deny GOD gradually lose everything that makes them acceptable and pleasing to GOD.  Eventually, those rejecting divine love become abominations and rubbish that are to be utterly destroyed in the second death.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, focus is on acceptance of sin, the destruction of sinners, and the treatment of those born again as offspring of GOD.  Through covenant, faith, grace, imparted Spirit, divine law, obedience, and the death of Jesus Christ upon the cross, those among mankind who return to GOD may have atonement for sin and place with divinity as children and heirs (e.g., see Deuteronomy 14:  1-2, King James Version (KJV):  1 Ye are the children of the LORD your God:  ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.  2 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.)  While angels do not develop, grow, learn from their errors and mistakes, or increase in holiness as men do through adoption, rebirth, repentance and sanctification, angels may become defiled, profane and unclean through the operations of sin just like those who are in the flesh.  The heavenly messengers and servants of GOD are neither immortal nor mortal, and only continue duration as a matter of divine law, sacred process, and sovereign prerogative.  Eventually, all angels, men, and material objects that no longer contain the endowment from GOD necessary for existence, life, and eternal relationship will be cast into the Lake of Fire.  One of the many fighters at “Yahoo! Why was part of gods creation a place where people can suffer for eternity?

What parent wants their children to suffer forever?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:   So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.  For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.  (James 2:  12-13, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Spirit Content From GOD? (09/26/2016); Judgment Focused On Content? (08/30/2016); By Law and Relationships (04/05/2016); Belief In Another World? (02/17/2016); Belief, Content And Works? (02/12/2016); The Spirit is Willing (10/20/2012); Spirit Matter (10/21/2012)

“Anonymous”, believers only show love, respect, reverence and worship to GOD because they have a different Spirit content.  The language we use to talk about divinity also allows us to speak of created beings and living creatures having relationships as children, sons, and daughters to GOD.  Even so, communication, exchange, interaction, and requirements for those who are companions to Deity, who is immortal, incorruptible, and invisible, are not the same as with carnal parents, and those that share our mortal concerns.  GOD may only be correctly known to those who have received such inseparable aspects of his makeup as faith, holiness, longsuffering, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Having a physical human form does not make someone a child of GOD.  Without divine DNA, so to speak, no person may claim to be an offspring, or child of GOD.  Because many regard sin as carnal, natural, normal, and a matter of self-expression, they fail to recognize that sin is contrary both to their own continued existence and that of GOD.  Sinners must be shaken and stirred to realize the “exceeding sinfulness of sin.”  The operations of sin make them merely filthy and unclean objects now separated from GOD, and later to be destroyed, for they are not those who are responding as the divine beloved.  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, divine love, all divine order, and the entire universe.  Divine judgment is necessary for the preservation of life; and the place of destruction is only for ungodly things.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  Exodus 20:  4-6, King James Version (KJV):  4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.  5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them:  for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;  6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

(2.)  Matthew 25:  41, KJV:  41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

(3.)  Romans 8:  14-16, KJV:  14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.  15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.  16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Romans 8:  5-10, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.  10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, discussion focuses upon prophecy, examples for the Church from children, and godly sorrow.  Christian believers receive an inheritance of joy, divine love, and peace through one who is called “a man of sorrows,” Jesus Christ.  In popular culture, the character, Charlie Brown, is a type of Christ as are Adam, Noah, David, Jeremiah, and Job.  The expression, “Good grief!”, is used when a person is annoyed, is exasperated, is vexed (i.e., repeatedly encounters vanity; becomes frustrated, irritated, or provoked by efforts to oppose and quench ones spirit), or their patience is exhausted.  Thus, the catch phrase is not a reference to bereavement, loss of a loved one, or mourning.  Before Peanuts first appeared, October 2, 1950, the American cartoonist Charles M. Schulz did lettering in a Roman Catholic comic magazine, Timeless Topix.   In the newspaper comic strip, “Good grief!” is used in social commentary that acknowledges the absurdity, brevity, and incongruity that may characterize life with its many challenges, episodes, and odd encounters.  The reply (below) was posted at WordPress.com where “guestspeaker” (Netherlands, a Christadelphian writer) shared “Facing daily events and exclaiming “Good grief!” ” in response to my blog (11/04/2016) Works of the Spirit?:

Be encouraged!  “Good grief” is “godly sorrow.”  I first saw Charlie Brown as a child when I was reading the “Sunday funnies” (comic strips in the newspaper).  I recognized the phrase as slang and “street talk” being used in a formal setting, by a little white boy, and understood its awkward displacement as a form of humor akin to irony and sarcasm.  Later I was shown the spirit value of the phrase (not the letter) through an epistle by the Apostle Paul:  2nd  Corinthians 7:  9-11, King James Version (KJV):  9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.  10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.  11 For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  A good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one’s birth.  It is better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting:  for that is the end of all men; and the living will lay it to his heart.  Sorrow is better than laughter:  for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better.  The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning; but the heart of fools is in the house of mirth.  It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools.  For as the crackling of thorns under a pot, so is the laughter of the fool:  this also is vanity.  (Ecclesiastes 7:  1-6, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  To Foster Godly Sorrow (03/11/2016); African American Christmas? (12/15/2015); Antidotes to the Poisons (10/30/2014); About “The Just” (10/29/2014); Beliefs, Customs and Racism? (09/24/2014); Life Choices (12/14/2013); That Mortal Children Die? (12/15/2013)

“guestspeaker”, it is very likely that “good grief” was an appropriation (a use out of context; wresting) of the phrase “godly sorrow.”  Error, exaggeration, reversal, surprises, twists, and the unexpected are equally important throughout our many worldly amusements and entertainments—be they comedy, drama, or “tales of suspense.”  Sophistication in children is thought to be atypical, “hip”, and precocious as are insight among minority persons, wisdom among the poor, and conversation shared among bumpkins, oafs and fools.  On this dimension, sorrow for sin (i.e., guilt, regret, remorse, shame) that results in repentance has them all beat.

Children are pointed out as Christian (a word that meant “little Christs”, and first was used to disparage and mock the Lord’s disciples and followers), and were promoted as models before the early church on the basis of their example of humility.  However, it is not to be missed that exemplary children are uncomplaining, and also display cheerfulness, industry, innocence, gratitude, loyalty, meekness (i.e., readiness and willingness to learn), obedience, patience, purity, resilience, and truthfulness.  To be “childlike” (plain, straight forward, unassuming) in a godly manner is far from being “childish” (immature, playful, silly, worldly).  Through the adoption of the Holy Spirit, adult believers in Jesus Christ are to become “a new creation,” and children through rebirth who answer as the offspring and seed of divinity.

Some (both believers and sinners) do not acknowledge and discern prophesy without there first being comfort, threats, and warnings; yet, the benefits by edification and exhortation are usually greater.  Prophetic demonstrations, sacred events (we say, miracles), and authentic visions from GOD usually excel in sophistication by virtue of their simplicity.  For those who are born again, profound truth often comes into view at a level, and through processes of communication and exchange that may appear casual, informal, and vain (i.e., lacking spirit substance from the makeup of Deity).  Included are praise, prayer, preaching, promise, and witness.

Mockers and scorners often approach believers in a friendly manner; and believers must use discernment (regard their own spirit content from GOD as a standard to determine and respond to the spirit content in events, within themselves, in other persons, in statements, etc.).  Believers are cautioned to be vigilant (watch and pray), and to carefully, impartially yet thoroughly examine, test and try (prove) all things.  Hidden attacks, insults, and thrusts will characterize the “wolves in sheep’s clothing;” and those promoting disbelief often seek to make secular use of ideas from the Scriptures.  With this in view, many mature believers trust that truth from GOD may be apprehended and uncovered at any time, in every situation, and is not restricted to the place of assembly, the prayer chamber, and the sanctuary.

Consider the following points from the holy writings:

(1.)  James 4:  8-10, King James Version (KJV):  8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.  9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep:   let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.  10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

(2.)  Romans 8:  24-27, KJV:  24 For we are saved by hope:  but hope that is seen is not hope:  for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?  25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.  26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities:  for we know not what we should pray for as we ought:  but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.  27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

(3.)  Psalms 126:  5-6, KJV:  5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.  6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

(4.)  Psalms 8:  2, KJV):  2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

(5.)  Matthew 21:  10-16, KJV:  10 And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?  11 And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.  12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,  13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.  14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.  15 And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the son of David; they were sore displeased,  16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

(6.)  Colossians 2:  6-10, KJV:  6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:  7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.  8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.  9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.  10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

(7.)  1st Thessalonians 5:  19-22, KJV:  19 Quench not the spirit.  20 Despise not prophesyings.  21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.  22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.

(8.)  Isaiah 53:  3-5, KJV:  3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief:  and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.  4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows:  yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.  5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities:  the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

(9.)  Romans 8:  14-18, KJV:  14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.  15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.  16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:  17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.  18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended, here.  (For example, (10.)  Isaiah 53:  8-12, KJV:  8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living:  for the transgression of my people was he stricken.  9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.  10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief:  when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.  11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied:  by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.  12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death:  and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
