The Drum Major, Ernie Barnes

Today, reply is on Christ presenting both authentic humanity and complete divinity; and for many, this a National day of memorial in America. Sunday morning, I listened to the last sermon Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. preached before his assassination, “The Drum Major Instinct” (February 4, 1968; Ebenezer Baptist Church, Atlanta, GA). Jesus Christ demonstrated that all men have opportunity and are called to serve their Creator in ministry on the earth by displaying the image of GOD in their lifestyles and daily routines. As we acknowledge and remember Citizen King, who was the son of a preacher, we can see the same truth was manifest within Marvin Gaye, also the son of a preacher. Sinners who turn to GOD through Jesus as their redeemer and savior all are to resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and likeness of the Lord. It is written: Colossians 2: 6-10, King James Version (KJV): 6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. 8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: The writer at the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “Princess” (Level 3 with 3,698 points) posted the following:

Christians claim Jesus was fully god and fully man. Isn’t that like saying a person is fully male and fully female?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat? And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink? Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not. So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do. (Luke 17: 7-10, KJV)

Princess”, you use fully male/fully female, a contrast (showing differences between 2 things), where Christian believers use fully God/fully man, a comparison (showing likeness between 2 things). Through Jesus Christ mankind receives opportunity and possibilities to experience authentic humanity, and to exist on the earth as the children of GOD, heirs of divinity, and the new creation. The operations of divinity to draw sinners into a saving relationship are more correctly understood beginning at forgiveness, going on to acknowledge divine fullness appearing on earth using human form and flesh and blood as Jesus Christ, then, receiving into oneself a fresh endowment of spirit content from the makeup of GOD. Inseparable aspects of divinity will be imparted that include balance, faith, forbearance, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

GOD is a spirit, and the properties of spirit do not include measurable dimension (e.g., color; form; height; size; weight) and the regular excitement of sensory receptors within the living (e.g., ears, eyes, hands, noses). Through revelation that includes appearing in human form, divinity makes themselves knowable, known, accessible and approachable using sacred operations and material objects such as birth, sequential change, commitment, covenant relationships, emotions, death, discovery, gradual growth, humility, integrity, judgment, personhood, eternal purpose, sacred law, divine order, and discursive thought.

Divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) may be described as the summation of all spirit substance who is characterized by completeness, finality, perfection, and permanence. Divinity is immortal, incorruptible, and invisible. Spirit appears and is “visible” through human attitudes, behavior, and expressions of self-will that display awareness, direction, effect, existence, life essence, movement that is self-regulated (in its initiation, direction, tempo, and termination is modulated and self-controlled), meaning, quality, presence, and value. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry archives by Marvin Gaye:

(1.) Colossians 1: 12-20, King James Version (KJV): 12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. 19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; 20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

(2.) 2nd Corinthians 5: 17-21, KJV: 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Judge Not Appearances

Today, reply is on counsels from Jesus Christ regarding the practice of judging others. To correctly minster to sinners returning to GOD through Jesus Christ, followers of the Lord must practice forgiveness, and suspend condemnation by mankind. The goals and objectives in sacred judgment are acknowledgment, affirmation, approval, the provision of mercy, and the justification of divinity. Questions on how to recognize cults and Satan-worshipers have low priority among mature Christians. Satan has no authority, influence, or presence in the final judgment by GOD. Moreover, the Devil has no power to conceal, defend, protect, or release any from the divine expressions of wrath against sin. The Adversary will be cast into the Lake of Fire before the Advent of Jesus Christ (i.e., the harvest; the first resurrection; the Second Coming), and before the second resurrection that will be completed prior to the white throne judgment. For the church, sacred judgment will focus on the spirit process and substance imparted from the makeup of divine fullness that should appear within events, objects, persons, and speech expressing the sovereign will of GOD, rather than on occurrences of poor attitudes, bad conduct, faulty logic, violence, and naughtiness. Failing to realize that sin is contrary to the continued existence of divine law, the Lawgiver, the true nature of humanity, their own survival, and our preserving the multiple spheres of life that make up the universe, transgression and iniquity are being practiced as a way of life on the earth. Boasting themselves as those having free-speech, many mistakenly regard the making of false accusations, blasphemy, name-calling, presumption, rebellion against divinity, and slander as a matter of showing oneself to be attractive, clever, knowledgeable, intelligent, or even scientific. Because judging others, and the judgment practiced by sinners and the ungodly are self-promoting and punitive in their focus, the fruit they produce are decayed, rotting, and filled with anger, bitterness, enmity, malice, revenge, and spiritual confusion. Those who deserve praise and rewards from GOD will not be forgotten or overlooked. It is written: 1st Corinthians 4: 3-5, King James Version (KJV): 3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man’s judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self. 4 For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord. 5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile is shown) posted the following:

Is it true that evil people can seem nice on the outside?

And satanic cults don’t always look like cults?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. (Revelation 20: 11-13, KJV)

Anonymous” as an aspect of error and sin, many of us become entangled in judgment whereby we oppose one another, and wherein we oppose GOD. Only divinity may correctly assign and identify assessments of sacred character, divine operations, and the presence of consecrated fruit (we say, judge; condemn; sentence anyone to damnation). Even so, mature Christian believers are to acknowledge multiple lessons and warnings from divinity that promote balance, integrity, and wisdom when applying sacred law to resolve conflict and settle disputes among themselves, and those outside of the faith with whom they may have disagreements and quarrels. Such practices as deception, hypocrisy, and spiritual confusion can appear by focusing on surface elements of material objects, carnal reason, and social interaction. Believers should avoid competition, use of secular knowledge in place of sacred knowledge, and relying on finite visible indicators, rather than proper discernment of spirit content and eternal purpose. The brethren (i.e., those who also are members within the body of Christ) are to resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus Christ to one another not only through shared praise, worship, and unselfish service (i.e., religion, church stuff). We should show ourselves his followers through our ongoing lifestyles and daily routines, commitment, humility, our endurance of sufferings, our willingness to forgive and be reconciled to others as well as our willingness to be accountable to divinity. Consider the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Wintley Phipps:

(1.) Malachi 3: 13-18, King James Version (KJV): 13 Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee? 14 Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts? 15 And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered. 16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. 17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. 18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

(2.) Matthew 7: 1-5, KJV: 1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

(3.) Matthew 7: 14-20, KJV: 12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. 13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

(4.) 1st John 4: 1-8, KJV: 1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. 7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Today, reply is on the sacred person of Jesus Christ as the proper primary focus for sinners who seek forgiveness and reconciliation to GOD. The law and the prophets together were to be the platform for continuing relationship for Israel as a nation, and for the continuing relationship with GOD. Where emphasis became placed on obedience to the covenant law, the benefits, demands, and gifts to mankind through spirit process and substance became obscured. Included are adoption, inheritance, promise, rebirth, resurrection from the dead, and new life. It is written: Romans 3: 20-27, King James Version (KJV): 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. 21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. 27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Why don’t Christians start with learning Torah, as Jesus was Jewish.?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.

Shai”, rather than begin a life-long study of the Hebrew language to read Torah, sinners now may start a life-long process to continue in ongoing relationship with divinity through Jesus Christ. Even though Jesus remains invisible and unseen, believers are to learn of him, and to resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus in their own lifestyles and daily routines. Becoming a mature believer in Jesus is achieved through operations by the Spirit of GOD that reconfigure ones awareness and self-will (willpower). The life essence (breath; sacred endowment; spirit; word) within sinners is transformed through such devices as discovery, fellowship with like-minded believers, gradual growth, practice, study of the holy writings, unselfish service, and suffering. Those who become born again all must “grow-up again” and become mature/ripe for harvest by the Lord at his coming.

Many Christian believers acknowledge the Torah as the body of sacred law received over several generations by Moses, the tribes of Jacob, and the mixed multitude that left Egypt. As a written record of admonitions, divine commandments, outcomes from resolving conflicts and disputes, prohibitions, proclamations, and sanctions within the law, many regard the Torah as the platform for Israel to exist as a kingdom among the nations of the earth. Traditions developed that failed to continue the commitment that was to be maintained respecting both the law and the prophets (i.e., the authority of their nonverbal demonstrations and pronouncements as spokespersons from GOD; their rebukes; their appearance as vessels containing spirit substance imparted from the makeup of divinity; and the authenticity of the revelations and visions they received). Efforts to avoid mysticism, spiritual confusion, superstition, and pursuing the occult increasingly saw factions of Pharisees and Sadduccees arise among the Levitical priests that insisted there be strict focus on the offerings, sacrifices and ceremonial law from GOD, rather than on divine gifts, promises, prophesies, and testimonies. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of the Barnes Family:

(1.) Matthew 11: 28-30, King James Version (KJV): 28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

(2.) Romans 8: 1-5, KJV: 1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

(3.) Romans 8: 14-18, KJV: 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjmgOuPjtJ0.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

AN AFTERTHOUGHT: Where the emphasis on sacred law requires believers to focus on judgment, obedience, repentance and tradition, emphasis on the spirit of prophecy gives priority to such sacred elements as atonement, commitment, discernment, forgiveness, praise, unselfish service, suffering, and thanksgiving. The life-long study and work are not for mastery of finite academic and secular tools (e.g., languages, carnal reason, critical thinking, tongues), rather, believers are to operate as life companions to immortal, incorruptible, invisible divinity. Thus, the Apostle Paul writes: Philippians 3: 13-14, KJV: 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Absent from the Body

Today, reply is on the commitment to his own existence and life that mankind is to make in response to Jesus Christ who appears as Creator, Redeemer, Savior, and Judge. While the process of life features continuing conflict between the flesh and the Spirit, the living are to acknowledge their own body as a temple home for life essence imparted from GOD, and respect gatherings of those sharing faith as a divinely provided habitation for the spirit. It is written: Ephesians 2: 18-22, King James Version (KJV): 18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. 19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow-citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. Why do religious people live their lives so cautiously? ?

By that I mean, if you believe in God and afterlife wouldn’t you live as ethically reckless as possible to facilitate your early demise? I’m an atheist and since I know this is the only life I get I tend to want to prevent my death. If I believed in a god and heaven I would not wear my seat belt for example since I would prefer eternal life in heaven. Do I make any sense? 😂

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s. For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. (Romans 14: 7-9, KJV)

Stop-and-frisk this, Bloomberg!”, you make sense just as the Apostle Paul, who expressed being in conflict about continuing to serve on the earth, or going to be with the Lord. It remains that, Christian belief is focused on commitment and living as a companion to immortal, incorruptible, invisible divinity, rather than death; and is focused on performing duty and unselfish service, rather than pleasure and self-promotion. Sinners who become part of the new creation of GOD through Jesus Christ must become permanently changed and transformed through operations of the Holy Spirit (we say, they must become “born again” and “grow up again”). As developing believers, all are to become mature/ripe while on the earth, and will be harvested by the Lord at his coming. Christian believers are to resemble, reflect, and reveal the image of GOD, and the likeness of Jesus Christ through their lifestyles and daily routines. All are granted benefits, opportunities, possibilities, and privileges on a divine scale for they receive within their consciousness and self-will (willpower) inseparable aspects of the divine makeup. Included are balance, completeness, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. As vessels of divine spirit content (sacred DNA, so to speak), Christians are the offspring of GOD and those in fellowship with divinity. Believers will be held accountable for the grace and freely given gifts bestowed on them, and are to operate acknowledging sacred law, divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of John Michael Talbot:

(1.) 2nd Corinthians 5: 1-10, King James Version (KJV): 1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: 3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. 4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. 5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. 6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

(2.) Philippians 3: 7-14, KJV: 7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, 9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: 10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. 12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

(3.) Romans 8: 5-9, KJV: 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended (for example, (4.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGbb1ry1Hoo.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, reply is on the awe, respect, and reverence Christian believers express in their relationships with divinity. Because they fear the physical strength of an abusive partner, many women and children continue in homes that are destructive and toxic as victims of domestic violence. Fear of the Lord that should be expressed within relationships to divinity is very different than the emotional, psychological, and spiritual cruelty that occurs within dysfunctional families. Christian believers are encouraged to willingly be in an ongoing relationship with divinity that features discovery, gradual growth, sacred practices, study, and unselfish service. The overwhelming authority, knowledge, and power of GOD are expressed in multiple sacred operations whereby believers may resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and nature of Jesus Christ. As the most complete belief system on the earth, Christianity provides focus, intelligence, integrity, and maturity. There will be increased acknowledgment of accountability, commitment, and the practice of discernment. None are to experience the coercion, confusion, intimidation, threats, and violence that appear when pursuing self-destruction, the supernatural, superstition, and the occult. The miracle of life is incredible.

It’s also frightening to think of the power behind it.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. (1st John 1: 5-7, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Better Safe Than Sorry (10/21/2019); Divinity’s Threat to Humanity (05/21/2019); Awe Through Sacred Revelation (12/05/2018); Fear of the Unknown (03/29/2018); No Fear In Love? (05/17/2017); Fear That Acknowledges GOD? (07/15/2016); Correct Awe and Respect (02/04/2016)

Anonymous”, mankind is being drawn to GOD through multiple sacred operations that make otherwise invisible and unseen aspects of divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) alive and present within the consciousness and self-will (willpower) of the living. Included are atonement, forgiveness, and reconciliation to mankind regarding sin; comfort and lovingkindness to relieve bereavement, mourning, and suffering; the provision of mercy to those guilty in judgment; using human form to appear on the earth as Jesus Christ (we say, the Incarnation); the use of covenant relationships grounded in sacred law and divine promises as well as multiple opportunities and possibilities for healthy fellowship within assemblies and communities of faith. Awe, respect, and reverence to GOD is very different from the “fear” that many have faced in relationships displaying domestic violence, where a spouse is forced to remain in submission by use of beatings; destruction of property in the home; death threats against herself and the children; displays of exaggerated jealousy, possessiveness, and temper; unresponsiveness to reasoned appeals; and continuous verbal aggression. While GOD displays wrath against sin in divine judgment, what Christians express as “fear of the Lord” is their correct acknowledgment of GOD as the origin of existence and life, and the caretaker for all Creation. GOD is an immortal, incorruptible spirit, who has put forth created beings and living creatures, their spheres of life (i.e., heaven and earth), and the conditions for their duration. GOD appears to the living through displays of authority, dominion, personhood, divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and sovereign majesty. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a special music presentation from Andrew Lloyd Webber, Sarah Brightman, Paul Miles-Kingston – Pie Jesu:

(1.) 2nd Timothy 1: 7, King James Version (KJV): 7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

(2.) Luke 12: 4-6, KJV: 4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. 5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended (for example, (3.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31oAcmBz044.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

A depiction of Jesus and a 7 branch-menorah

Today, reply is on Christian definitions and meaning for words used by Jesus Christ to characterize and reveal the nature of his ministry on the earth. Jesus did not intend to spark controversy by his doctrine and ministry that was begun in the form of his regular reading from the Torah within the synagogue on the Sabbath day. Jesus attended and observed the traditional feasts and festivals required of those first in birth order, who were the primary heir within each household. As surely as he knew of Moses and Joshua as the law and the sword for Israel, he acknowledged the contributions by King David, King Solomon, and the Maccabees. It is written: John 10: 22-33, King James Version (KJV): 22 And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter. 23 And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon’s porch. 24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. 25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me. 26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and my Father are one. 31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. 32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? 33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. How true is this?

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins. (Isaiah 11: 1-5, KJV)

“☆父♥Devil the Evil™父”, among mature Christian believers, otherwise common language and secular words must be used to convey sacred meanings and divine values within a closed system of full belief. The words “darkness”, “light” and “life” address the attributes, principles, properties, process, and substance provided by divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit). Included are balance, completeness, direction, existence, eternal purpose, divine prerogative, and the sovereign will of GOD. The language of mature Christians is very different than that for others who answer to fables, fiction, mythology, spiritual confusion, superstition, and the occult.

Mankind has been endowed with life essence (i.e., breath; spirit; word) imparted from the makeup of GOD, and is to display divine content. Inseparable aspects of divinity (we say, the image of GOD; Christ-likeness) should appear including faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Just as light detected through our sense organ, the eye, may be understood as a condition that allows awareness and perception of material objects and things physically present, light as sacred guidance and truth manifesting divinity allows apprehension and consciousness of things that are invisible and remote in time (e.g., past, future), yet, are eternal and unchanging such as sacred law and the divine order appearing as the universe.

Christians are to resemble, reflect, and reveal the character of Jesus Christ that correctly makes visible the opportunities and possibilities for multiple living relationships between and among the Creator and the created. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Marty Goetz:

(1.) Isaiah 8: 20, King James Version (KJV): 20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

(2.) Psalms 119: 104-106, KJV: 104 Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way. 105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. 106 I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.

(3.) John 6: 63, KJV: 63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended (for example, (4.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=To1T6o_420c.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, reply is on whether the Bible includes a requirement that Christians always be honest. The counsels from GOD to mankind often are to be applied according to specific conditions, yet, are not provided as wisdom to be obeyed occasionally, once in a while, and only sometimes. Sinners who return to GOD through Jesus Christ are to become increasingly Christ-like as they prepare for his coming to harvest the earth. Developing and mature believers all are to continually display and demonstrate the spirit content from divinity that they have received as sons and daughters of GOD, joint heirs with Jesus, and the new creation. It is written: Ephesians 5: 1-11, King James Version (KJV): 1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; 2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savour. 3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; 4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. 7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them. 8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: 9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shown) posted the following:

Does it say anywhere in the Bible that Christians are always to be honest?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. (Romans 13: 8-14, KJV)

Anonymous”, Christian believers are to be vessels containing inseparable aspects of spirit substance from the makeup of GOD whereby they will exist as sons and daughters of divinity, joint heirs with Christ, and the new creation. Those who become “born again” also must “grow up again” through discovery, fellowship, gradual growth, learning, practice, service, study and suffering. Here are some points that use language from the Bible that many Christians acknowledge along with a selection from the music ministry of Bob Carlisle:

(1.) Leviticus 19: 11-12, King James Version (KJV): 11 Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another. 12 And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.

(2.) Mark 10: 17-21, KJV: 17 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? 18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. 19 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother. 20 And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth. 21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.

(3.) Colossians 3: 5-17, KJV: 5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: 6 For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: 7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them. 8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. 9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; 10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: 11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. 12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
