Doctrine, freewill and the “divine plan” are topics, today.  Also, there is more on what it means to “come as you are.”  The “Yahoo! Answers” writer using ID “Wisdom itself.” (Level 4 with 4,192 points, a member since August 26, 2011) posted the following:

If God gave man freewill, how is every-thing a part of His plan?

THE BATTLE AXE:  Come As You Are (06/29/3013)—Because GOD is a spirit who must be worshiped in spirit and in truth (John 4:  24 and Philippians 3:  2-3, KJV), mankind must be totally transformed to escape the limitations of flesh and mind.  Coming to Christ we begin a journey to become completely immortal and incorruptible.  Holy angels dwelling in the celestial presence (we say, heaven), were first to come under the influence of sin despite that they are spirit beings (not mortals, yet not immortal) who contain only sacred knowledge, and continue their existence through experiences of divine service.  It is a consequence of sin that all upon the earth who seek open and permanent access to GOD must do so through repentance.  In addition to remorse or sorrow for sin, repentance expresses growth, love, maturity, obedience, and awareness of sovereign presence.  “Come as you are” is suitable only as a beginning for ones new awareness and spiritual change.  The believer is also to embrace, “no turning back,” “crucified with Christ,” and “dead to sin, alive to GOD.”  See Romans 6:  6 and 6:  11, Galatians 2:  20 and 5:  24, 1st Peter 2:  24 and Revelation 19:  9-11, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.  And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?  Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.  If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.  (John 7:  14-17, KJV)

“Wisdom itself.”, here are some thoughts GOD has provided to those living as believers in the kingdom of GOD through Jesus Christ:

(1)  “Freewill” (some say, self-will) in mankind is finite and limited.  Just as freewill does not stop the snow from falling on a cold winters day, or make it that rain is no longer wet, freewill cannot eliminate sin, overturn ignorance of GOD and divine purpose, or take the place of redemption and salvation through the shed blood of Jesus.

(2)  That GOD has a “plan for all things” is shared as a simple formula to supply a beginning grasp upon multiple profound truths that pertain to the universe, and the spheres of all existence.  Like children who master “mama”, “dada”, or recite the “ABC’s” (yet are still unable to read and write), to please GOD, created beings and living creatures must do more than merely exercise and master self-will.

(3)  Sin may corrupt and dominate self-will.  In mankind, the ability to detect and identify sin, and the strength to resist the influence of sin over will power are invisibly eroded and reduced over time through action and behavior.  Only by receiving a fresh infusion of divine spirit through Jesus Christ do men possess the necessary measure of divine will that permits fulfillment of divine purpose.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example,  (4)  Men become able to understand and cooperate with the divine plan only through such operations of GOD as baptism, redemption, repentance, salvation, and sanctification.  So to speak:  There must be the death of that original spirit one was born with; rebirth through an endowment by GOD of divine DNA; and growing up again while meeting the challenges and growing pains of life upon the earth.)   Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Birth order, inheritance and Jesus as “firstborn” are topics along with more on vows and covenants, today. A Yahoo! Answers writer using the ID “Ismael” (Level 1 with 91 points, July 27, 2012) posted the following:

Christians, why was David called the “firstborn”, when he was the youngest son?

Psalm 89:27,

THE BATTLE AXE: Vows and Covenants? (12/17/2012)—Through covenant, invisible, yet, abiding and marvelous aspects of divinity are revealed to mankind; particularly grace, love, mercy, and unmerited favor. In addition, covenant permits the special provision of judgment that a remnant is sufficient to fulfill all the terms of divine commitment. (For examples, see Ezra 9: 1-15, Isaiah 1: 1-31, Ezekiel 14: 21-23, Zephaniah 3: 1-20, Romans 3: 1-31 and Romans 11: 1-36, King James Version.)

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers, God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee. And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David. Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption: But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption. Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. (Acts 13: 32-39, King James Version)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Given the Cloud of Witnesses (11/29/2012); Son of Man? (11/28/2012); Begotten not Made (09/08/2012); About False Witness (09/09/2012); Set Free To… (03/27/2012); Grandchildren? (03/23/2011); A To Do List (03/24/2011); Lion of Judah (01/10/2011)

The title of “firstborn” (from GOD) is higher than that for “king” because it proclaims the bearer an heir of GOD. As a social process and expression of flesh, birth order determines the heir through custom and tradition. As a divine process and expression of spirit, the duties and privileges of the heir are obtained by anointing and divine appointment, faith, grace, sacred law, divine prerogative, and sovereign authority.

Many accounts recorded in the Bible portray the principle that the elder shall serve the younger; that twins are distinguished for sacred service before their birth and throughout their lifetime; and acquiring the blessing as heir to the ministry from heaven that was given to Adam is determined by GOD. Cain and Abel, Esau and Jacob, Reuben and Joseph, Ephraim and Manasseh, and the promotion of Judah above Levi all display the operation of GOD to establish salvation in the earth. A similar operation is seen in miraculous births by women known to be barren, elderly, and already experiencing menopause (consider Samson, Samuel, John the Baptist), as well as the birth of Jesus through a virgin.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, until mankind has been made completely immortal and incorruptible through the ministries by the Son of GOD, eternal GOD will continue in uninterrupted relationship with finite beings through elements structured by timeless law. More than simply the power of GOD to control birth, death, and resurrection, there has been sacred presence, and performance of godly will through adoption, covenant, dynasty, family, forgiveness, inheritance, priesthood, promise, promotion, prophecy, and prosperity.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Adam and Eve, corruption, and answer to the charge that the Creation of GOD was imperfect are featured, today. Also, there is more on the importance of Julius Caesar as a symbol in Christian belief. A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “Jack” (Level 1 with 90 points, a member since November 8, 2012) posted the following:

Didn’t Adam and Eve sin before eating the fruit?

God apparently told Adam and Eve not to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and when the serpent came and convinced Eve to eat the fruit, she disobeyed god and ate it anyway. Isn’t disobediance to your authority figures considered sin? So apparently Adam and Eve weren’t so perfect to begin with, because if they were they wouldn’t have rebelled.

THE BATTLE AXE: Unto Caesar…? (11/09/2012)—Within the framework of the Scriptures, Julius Caesar is a symbol and a “type” representing the material world as well as the belief system created by mankind called “humanism”, “secular reality,” “spiritual confusion” and “the world.” Like Pharaoh, or Saul, Jeroboam, and Herod (earthly kings who disobeyed GOD and violated the Mosaic covenant), Julius Caesar, Nero and others portray government marked by corruption, decadence, and pride; and are figures of the Adversary, Satan. When challenged on the point of paying tribute to Caesar, Jesus made a peculiar re-statement of the law declared through Moses, and thereby addressed divine inheritance, the giving of sacrifice and tithes as well as the sovereignty of Almighty GOD (see Deuteronomy 12: 1-16, King James Version).

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. (1st Corinthians 15: 45-49, King James Version)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Sin Inherited? (01/22/2012); Trouble For The Good? (01/15/2012); Binder 35: Whom The Lord Loveth (11/01/2011); Binder 14: The Day That GOD Created (10/11/2011); Dispatch 16: The Ally (Wounded) 08/24/2011; Adam Saved? (12/03/2010)

Many mature Christian believers now understand that neither GOD nor mankind may be mocked as imperfect because of sin. Using only human knowledge, skills, and talents, mankind cannot eliminate sin. Sin pertains to actualities of existence, and goes beyond behavior, conduct and thought. Sin is not a created thing, and has neither dimension, purpose, or divine substance. Even so, sin has direction, effect and presence, and may dominate the self-will of created beings and living creatures.

Sin—corruption, decay that operates as opposition to holiness, divine law, and the existence of GOD—was first realized as present among the angels, whose endowment of knowledge included sacred truth, praise, service and worship while providing no information on the operations of sin, repentance from sin, and the destruction of being that results by sin. Sin emerged despite the innocence and purity that described content of the angels. Sin is not an expression of, nor may sin control or influence the will of Divine Person. Because sin is immaterial, foreign to all being, and insubstantial, sin cannot be known through discursive thought and foreknowledge.

Among the various aspects that comprise life for the living, there must be a continuous acknowledgment of GOD along with animation, consciousness, person, presence, purpose, and self-will. Divine substance deposited within mankind establishes humanity and the “living soul.” The recovery of mankind from “non-existent” yet devastating sin, demands a broad range of sacred processes. Included are birth, death, judgment, repentance, rebirth, resurrection, and salvation.

Such language as disobedience, evil, iniquity and rebellion is used among developing believers like “mama” and “dada” are used among children in the first stages of language acquisition. Simple ideas and natural speech must be used to communicate sacred relationship and spiritual realities that are profound (i.e., deep; all-encompassing and far-reaching in application, and consequence): Before Eve ate, she looked, she imagined, she formulated a desire, and she yielded to curiosity. Eve forgot both Adam and GOD, placed trust in an Adversary as if he were equal to GOD, and discounted the word from GOD that was law. Both the law and the punish for its violation were determined and proclaimed long before Eve made choice to commit any error.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, with GOD, Creation is not a one-time event. The excellence of mankind is that, as the centerpiece of Creation, mankind conveys the image of GOD, and proclaims the sacred truth that divinity is immortal, immutable and unchanging, yet is capable of operating as continuous and progressive.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
