A reminder of the Priest, the Levite, their Neighbor and the Good Samaritan

Today, reply is on grace, love, and divine mercy that operate with righteousness as a restraint to divine wrath against sin during final judgment. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Why didn’t God smite Cain for killing Abel?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. (2nd Corinthians 1: 2-4, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Satisfying Creation and Law (01/22/2019); Judgment Perfects Divine Revelation (12/18/2018); The Priesthood of Adam (11/02/2018); GOD’s Will Be Done (04/27/2018); Being A Good Samaritan (02/18/2018); In Spirit and Truth? Anonymous”, in the same way, GOD did not smite the parents of Abel and Cain, divinity did not smite their offspring. Throughout the holy writings, the Creator who Christian believers worship has revealed and shown himself also to be a GOD who determines quality, substance, and value for all that exists (we say, renders judgment deciding the duration and eternal life imparted to created beings and living creatures). In addition to forgiveness, impartiality and righteousness that ensure balance against the condemnation and harshness that may appear through correction and punishment, mercy is to be understood as one of the most important aspects of divine substance that will appear and soften judgment. The divine sentence against transgression (we say, sin) was pronounced to be death long before disobedience appeared. Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, and promotes destruction along with the conditions of chaos, confusion, destruction and uninterrupted streaming that were in place before the establishment of heaven and earth (we say, preexistence). Both Adam and the devil using the form of a serpent (yet, like the holy angels, continuing as neither mortal nor immortal) became subject to the sanctions within the divine law. Despite mankind’s fall, the Creation as an expression of divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit), eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD has not altered nor changed. Divinity employs atonement, correction, generational curses, mercy, rebirth, and a host of other devices to ensure that sin does not make death permanent for those who genuinely repent, and who receive fresh endowments of spirit substance from the exalted character and makeup of GOD. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Genesis 3: 13-19, King James Version (KJV): 13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. 14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. 16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. 17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; 18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; 19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

2. Genesis 4: 9-15, KJV: 9 And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper?  10 And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground. 11 And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand; 12 When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth. 13 And Cain said unto the LORD, My punishment is greater than I can bear. 14 Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me. 15 And the Lord said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.

3. Hosea 6: 1-7, KJV: 1 Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. 2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. 3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth. 4 O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away. 5 Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth. 6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings. 7 But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. Ezekiel 18: 19-23, KJV: 19 Yet say ye, Why? doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, and hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live. 20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. 21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. 22 All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live. 23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, reply is on the crucifixion of Jesus, satisfying the demands of sacred law, and why divinity must answer the operations of sin by using death. Salvation for mankind requires that the makeup and substance of the living be restored to their original condition of godliness. Divine works must be accomplished along with multiple sacred events that may only be completed by divinity. Included are atonement, divine judgment, rebirth, resurrection from the dead, and the harvesting of the earth at the Advent (the Rapture; the Second Coming) of Jesus Christ. The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Swagmaster” (Level 2 with 439 points, a member since October 27, 2018) posted the following:

How did Jesus’ death heal the relationship between humans and God? This seems contradictory.?

In the ten commandments, it says ‘Do not kill’ but killing Jesus made God happy of us? Also, I don’t think that, if I was murdered, I would be too pleased with that. Am I missing something or am I just plain confused?

Update: Thank you for the answers. I definitely missed quite a bit. 😅

THE GOLDEN ARROW: The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live. Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live? But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die. (Ezekiel 18: 20-24, King James Version, KJV)

Swagmaster”, the demands of divine law must be satisfied at the same time that conditions for continued existence and life must be established. The operations of sin oppose the continued existence of sacred law, of the Creator who is Lawgiver, and of divine order throughout the universe. Sin defiles, profanes and warps sacred substance within the living. Sin promotes restoration of preexistence (i.e., the condition of chaos, confusion, and multiple streams in motion having no source or direction) that was in place before heaven and earth were fashioned. Sin is no ordinary carnal or material thing that can be destroyed, eliminated, or separated from reality by using force or violence. Sin attacks the many unseen things that are needed as aspects of structure and substance for the support of life within mankind. Included are awareness, duration, reproduction, self-will, and the frameworks of time and space.

As a result of sin, mankind now fulfills a condition of mortality (we also say, sleep) that may be reversed by GOD through resurrection. The penalty of death for sin was proclaimed before Adam and Eve showed that their original endowment of life essence from the makeup of GOD (we also say, breath; spirit; word) and self-will would no longer respond to the sovereign will of GOD expressed as law. Defiance, rebellion and transgression against the will of GOD may be limited and ended by removing consciousness from the carnal form (we say, the body; the flesh) that allows focus and desire in response to finite ideas and objects. In addition to mortality, mankind is subject to annihilation (we say, the second death). Saying all this another way: To stop the eternal existence of sin the spirit matter from divinity, that may be destroyed only by using divine fire, must be changed and renewed within a person before they die (complete mortality); and they must display a genuine return to GOD through their attitude, behavior, conduct and lifestyle.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, there are multiple names for the divine provision to satisfy the law and save mankind that were made possible by the Incarnation of Jesus Christ, and his death on the cross. Included are “becoming born again,” being a new creation, “rebirth”, “reconciliation”, “resurrection from the dead,” “sanctification” and “transformation”. Only through the blood, body, and sacred works of Jesus Christ can the spirit substance within created beings and living creatures who are sinners be reconfigured and realigned with GOD.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

The Lord is My Strength

Today, reply is on replacing the fear of death and fear of the unknown with awe, reverence, and a meaningful relationship with GOD. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile data appears) posted the following:

I’m scared to die…?

I know death is inevitable. I’m an atheist but I want to believe there’s some kind of afterlife but I can’t imagine one and it’s not like I’d ever be into any kind of religion because I’m bisexual.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him. (Luke 12: 4-5, King James Version, KJV)

Anonymous”, we are not to fear the fact that we are mortal, and will complete our mortality. Fear of death is often confused with fear of pain, and fear of judgment for sins. Among Christian believers, becoming free from the fear of death and judgment are accomplished by filling ones awareness, and focusing ones self-will (willpower) to continue in the relationship of a life companion to GOD who is immortal, incorruptible, and invisible. As expressions of the flesh, emotion and fear are generated through mechanical and natural operations (e.g., circulation, sensation, stress) while awe and reverence are features that appear through actions of spirit. Fear of the unknown is best dispelled through sacred knowledge and revealed truth that have life-nourishing power and substance. The mind is not to be fed with conjecture, imagination, unanswered questions, and speculation. Rather, there must be a reconfiguration of ones mind whereby behavior and conduct are generated through exchanges and interactions of ones own spirit substance. Inseparable aspects of the divine life essence (we say, breath; spirit; word) will be imparted from the makeup of GOD as Creator. Included are faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Knowledge and practice then can exist and unfold as balanced, complete, interwoven, and systematic; yet, organic, personal, and responsive. Consider the following assurances, promises, and prophesies of eternal life from the Bible that serve as the specific expectations (hope) of believers:

1. Psalms 23: 4-6, King James Version (KJV): 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

2. Ephesians 4: 21-24, KJV: 21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

3. Hebrews 2: 14-18, KJV: 14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. 16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. 17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. 18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. Romans 8: 13-17, KJV: 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Flesh and Spirit

Today, points are shared on the complete elimination of sin and its operations among created beings and living creatures. The total removal of sin requires multiple operations of divinity. Sin is no material or physical substance that would allow it to be destroyed like waste matter; even so, sin has direction, effect and presence, and may dominate consciousness and self-will in the living. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality, who uses the ID “Purity” (Level 2 with 555 points, a member since September 11, 2018) posted the following:

At what point do Christians stop sinning?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6: 3-11, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Salvation Must Be Eternal (11/06/2018); Scripture Teachings On Repentance (10/16/2018); First, Become Born Again (09/21/2018); Baptism, Rebirth, and Resurrection (09/18/2018); Consequences and Divine Love (07/05/2018); Natural Law, Enmity, Sin (05/25/2018)

Purity”, mankind upon the earth now is challenged to coexist with sin. The existence of sin is received among Christian believers as an enigma and a mystery, for sin is contrary to the character, makeup and nature of our Creator; opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Lawgiver, and all divine order; is empty and void of spirit substance from the fullness of divinity (we say, the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit); and has not been put forth from GOD who is the source of all that has existence. Sin promotes destruction, nonexistence, and return to the chaos, confusion, flux, and random patterns that were in place before the founding of heaven and earth.

Baptism depicts a divine process for recovery from sin where a person’s inborn spirit dies, is buried, and raised from the dead through the implanting of divine DNA, and sacred seed. Sinners are provided a fresh endowment of life essence from the inseparable makeup and substance of GOD (we say, breath; spirit; word). Included are faith, holiness, oneness without sameness, personhood, purity, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Even so, the sinner who becomes a developing believer is only “born again” and must also “grow up again.” In the same way a small child may pass through stages of bed wetting and thumb-sucking before becoming fully adult, a Christian will be challenged by multiple desires, errors, and failures of self-will before they mature to serve as the new creation through Jesus Christ.

Men may become free from sin, and built up to recognize, choose to reject, and deliberately resist sin; yet, through finite self-will, sin can not be totally destroyed and removed from the earth. The final elimination of all sin requires the sacred operations from divinity that we speak of as judgment, permanent change of human makeup, and the second death. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Colossians 3: 12-17, King James Version (KJV): 12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

2. Galatians 2: 20, KJV: 20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

3. Romans 6: 22-23, KJV: 22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. Romans 8: 5-10, KJV: 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

judgement

A depiction of judgment and salvation; only those having life may appear in divine tribunal

Today, reply is on mortality, divine law, and the completion of divine judgment. Mature believers are to consider that the final judgment we speak of is already being carried out and is ongoing. Those who will meet the Lord in the air at his coming to harvest the earth now are appearing before GOD through the books of life. Others (we say, the unrighteous; the unjust; the wicked) will be examined in living tribunal that follows their resurrection. For many, it has been proclaimed in prophecy that death (the finish of life; the completion of mortality) will be followed by their completion of existence (the second death). A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality, who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile is shown) posted the following:

Christians, why does God punish people “after” they die?

FACT — It’s too late after they die to repent.

FACT — They can’t reform because they are now in Hell.

FACT — They can’t go to Heaven because they didn’t repent.

So Christians, what’s the specific reason why God is punishing these people after they leave Earth?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. (2nd Corinthians 5: 10, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Preparing For The Rapture (11/09/2018); Salvation Must Be Eternal (11/06/2018); The Priesthood of Adam (11/02/2018); A Short Time Left (10/30/2018); Judgment Will Occur Forever (10/10/2018); Bible Language About Spirit? (06/13/2018); The Elimination of Death? (05/13/2018); On Law and Sin (06/07/2017)

Anonymous”, the language we use while we are sinners who promote the ideas of our culture and society speaks in terms of “punishment” by GOD for sin; however, the language developing believers are to use in the church as followers of Jesus Christ speaks in terms of being granted correction from GOD; divinity continuing eternal purpose; divine fullness (we also say, the GODhead) performing multiple sacred acts and responses (e.g., atonement; death of ones inborn Adamic spirit; rebirth from divine seed; the completion of mortality through resurrection and judgment that occur in the physical presence of GOD; the provision of eternal life). Here are some points that may help you realize the understanding among those who are to become Christlike by acknowledging sacred law, practice, and process that are to be shared by those who are the new creation of Jesus Christ:

1. Mankind was created to serve as a companion to GOD who is immortal, incorruptible, and invisible. The earth also was created as a sphere of life along with a range of active operations for mankind (e.g., aging; discovery; growth; learning; work), and the resources to ensure duration.

2. Just as GOD must present personhood, and be knowable, known, accessible and approachable, divinity must manifest righteousness, and establish his own word as a reliable, unchanging standard for communication, exchange and sacred relationship. Thus, despite the interruption that occurs because of death, Deity must complete the response to the sanctions within the divine law that were proclaimed to the first pair (Adam).

3. The law spoken by the Creator while interacting with Adam (we also say, shared through personal relationship; demonstrated and expressed as the authority, prerogative, and sovereign will of GOD; revealed) included admonition and warnings of consequences, and unwanted, yet, unavoidable events that would follow their disobedience. Included were death, destruction, and Adam’s loss of dominion over the earth.

4. By submitting his consciousness and self-will to the operations of sin, Adam became deprived, emptied, and unable through self-will to recover his divine substance from the makeup of GOD that always was to serve as his own life essence (we say, breath; spirit; word). Included were faith, holiness, integrity, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (5.) In the operations of GOD, the end of a person’s physical life is not the end of their full existence. Just as divinity has put forth the angels to exist being neither mortal nor immortal, divinity has begun a transformation of mankind to exist as an immortal companion to divinity that will be completed when Jesus Christ appears to harvest his followers from the earth (we say, his appearing, the Advent, the Rapture, the Second Coming). Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

us-war-deaths

Continuing reflections on divinity, peace, and World War, a blog is reprinted that was originally published as THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD: (01/31/2017) A Species of Animal?

Today, deaths from war, human nature, and mankind’s divine potential are considered.  For many, it is love and the giving and keeping of life that makes a nation great.  Even so, others now express cynicism and negativity declaring they would rather give their love to animals than to human beings, or to the dead instead of the living, because, then, their love would be acknowledged and returned.  For Christians, GOD is the true origin and source for the greatest human achievements.  Ability to recognize and respond to spirit content from the makeup of our Creator (i.e., discernment) is required to consistently and correctly acknowledge that the divine spirit content is appearing within such features as events, holy writings, oneself, other persons, prophecy, relationships, and sacred teachings.  A writer at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “John” (Level 1 with 3 points, a member since February 22, 2009) posted the following:

Why are christians afraid that they might be a species of animal?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.  For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them:  as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast:  for all is vanity.  All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.  (Ecclesiastes 3:  18-20, King James Version, KJV)

John” the question of mankind’s true nature is “profound” (i.e., has simple, yet, broad and far-reaching application).  Many in the world today agree that how we value one another (and ourselves) as living creatures does make a difference in what we understand can be the quality of life we now experience, the benefit and value for ongoing relationships with immortal divinity, and our further possibilities for life in spite of our mortality.  Our sciences and secular history may insist that human potential only express an animal or mechanical nature (as if we are mere machines or accidents from a random process).  Even so, mature Christian believers hold that our humanity is more completely and correctly understood as expressing interactions within an animal, human and divine nature.  Christians all pursue the fullest development of their divine nature on the basis of multiple goals, needs, sacred knowledge, and strengths acquired through such features as fellowship, prayer, sacred practices (we say, sacraments), study, shared worship, and unselfish service.  Consider the following points that have led many to seek the greater possibilities for mankind:

(1.)  Casualties reported for major U. S. wars numbered from the Revolutionary War to the Iraq War are a total 1, 343,812 deaths, 1,529,230 wounded, and 38,159 missing.

(2.)  Total casualties for Word War I are 37 million and include 9,720,450 military casualties, 8.5 million killed, 19.7 million wounded soldiers, and 7.7 million missing.

(3.)  Statistics reported for World War II include 690 million served (world-wide), and there were 72 million deaths.

(4.)  2nd Peter 1:  2-11, King James Version (KJV):  2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,  3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:  4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises:  that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.  5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;  6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;  7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.  8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.  10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure:  for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:  11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Born Into His Death

Today, reply is on death, marriage, redemption, and water baptism as a divine tool for continuing and extending life through ones heir. For many, water baptism is a divine process wherein sinners experience birth, and begin a new life having divine DNA, so to speak. More correct, however, is the understanding that sinners are granted a new death, and will exist as joint heirs with Jesus Christ, joined to him through his resurrection from the dead. Because, according to covenant law, the primary heir receives a double portion of the goods and property that belonged to the deceased, the heirs are equipped to complete the unfinished business of the dead, and continue or create a new name (reputation) for the dead. Redemption, therefore, may be understood as the recovery of ones sacred inheritance, family name, and reputation for righteousness through the interventions of a kinsman and joint heir. The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” Religion and Spirituality public forum using the ID “Granny Norine” (Level 1 with 19 points, a member since May 16, 2014) posted the following:

What does I Corinthians 15:29 mean in comparison to Romans 6:3-4?

Update: SCRIPTURE (((WITNESSES))) SCRIPTURE! YOU (((MUST))) BE “RESURRECTED” FROM YOUR “DEAD SPIRIT” (ROMANS 5:12) “BY WHICH ALSO YE ARE (((SAVED)))…” (I CORINTHIANS 15:2) (V17) “AND IF CHRIST BE NOT RAISED, YOUR FAITH IS VAIN; YE ARE (((YET))) IN YOUR SINS.”

Update 2: YOU CANT (((CHANGE))) THE WORD OF GOD! YOU CAN DENY IT, BUT YOU’RE A LYING HYPOCRITE WHO IS (((THE ANTICHRIST)))!!!

THE GOLDEN ARROW: There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. (John 3: 1-7, King James Version, KJV)

GRANNY NORINE”, here are some points mature Christian believers are careful to consider when reading 1st Corinthians 15: 29, King James Version (KJV): 29 Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?

1. Bearing children for the dead and the duty of Levirate marriage (a brother marries the widowed sister-in-law, and impregnates her to provide an heir to the deceased) was used as a device to maintain and stabilize the economy of Israel as a covenant nation. The transformation for the 12 nomadic tribes of Jacob required divine allotments and patterns for inheritance that were to be preserved forever. Conflicts, disputes and tribal warfare over the ownership of the land would be eliminated.

2. The family name of a man who died childless and without an heir would cease to appear in the records and roles of Israel. Having no heir he would be the last to receive the blessing of GOD granted to his ancestor; and the entire line would be “cut off” from their people.

3. Water baptism makes visible more than a divine, unseen removal and washing away of ones sins. There is the death, burial, and resurrection from the dead for ones inborn spirit. Thus, baptism for the dead is a form of rebirth that provides a family name and reputation with a new life.

The following points are helpful when reading Romans 6: 3-4, KJV: 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

1. Just as the birth of Jesus Christ was a sacred event (we say, miracle), the rebirth and transformation of a sinner to exist as a companion to divinity, an offspring of GOD, and a joint heir with the Lord is also a sacred event. In the Incarnation of Jesus Christ, the savior is conceived through the Holy Spirit within the body of a virgin, and thereby joined to mankind. Similarly, spirit content from the makeup of GOD and Christ is imparted to live within the sinner, who is thereby joined to Christ.

2. Rather than being joined to Christ through an act of reproduction or his birth, the sinner who is released from sin through death is joined to Christ by his―not their own―resurrection.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. Through baptism sinners receive divine seed (e.g., faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom) from the makeup of GOD, are “born again,” and must “grow up again” becoming mature/ripe for harvest at the Advent of Jesus (the Second Coming). As “developing believers” these followers of Christ receive a new name (reputation), and are his “new creation.”) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
