Today, continuing to acknowledge the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, replies are on mankind completing mortality, attending divine tribunals for final judgment, and incurring the second death.  A fighter in the “Yahoo! When people say “Hell is a disconnecting from God for eternity.” Isn’t that basically saying a person will be dead forever?

If it’s not eternal torture and it’s some “eternal loss of wifi” aren’t you dead forever or are you alive and continuing to be without God, as some already like to live??

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat:  I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink:  I was a stranger, and ye took me in:  Naked, and ye clothed me:  I was sick, and ye visited me:  I was in prison, and ye came unto me.  Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?  When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?  Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?  And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.  Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:  For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat:  I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:  I was a stranger, and ye took me not in:  naked, and ye clothed me not:  sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.  Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?  Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.  And these shall go away into everlasting punishment:  but the righteous into life eternal.  (Matthew 25:  35-46, King James Version, KJV)

“Pierce”, the revelation of divinity (we say, divine fullness; the GODhead; the Trinity; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) that appears throughout the holy writings describe multiple possibilities for created beings and living creatures to experience close personal relationships with GOD, who is spirit in character, presence, process, and substance.  In addition to covenant, family, priesthood, promise, and unselfish service the living may come to know GOD through righteous judgment, Incarnation, rebirth, and repentance.  Sinners who are “born again” are to receive a fresh endowment of inseparable spirit content from the makeup of GOD that includes faith, gratitude, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, respect, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

Mortality has not been imposed on mankind as a punishment or an act of divine anger so much as a necessary device to endorse the sanctions of divine law; display otherwise invisible features of the divine heart and mind (e.g., empathy, forgiveness, mercy, reconciliation, righteousness); and provide continuity for existence despite interruptions of life (e.g., delay, rest, sleep (we say, death) first used when the female was created out of the male).  In a similar way, independence, self-will in the living, and seeming separation from GOD is no suspension of sacred authority, eternal purpose, and sovereign will.  The living complete their mortality as a product of carnal and material conditions, mechanical operations and natural laws such as aging, appetite, and gradual growth.

The Bible speaks of divine resolution for conflicts regarding the operations of sin in terms of judgment where divine law serves as the standard for establishing accord.  Resurrection of the dead is the divine device used to permit the dead to appear before GOD alive in holy tribunals.  Following a final judgment that has begun and will examine all mankind, for those not having the image of GOD there will be the annihilation, elimination, and the total removal of their duration, life essence (breath; spirit; word), personhood, and sacred possibility.  This is understood by many mature Christian believers as the second death.  Consider the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Revelation 2:  10-11, King James Version (KJV):  10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer:  behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days:  be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.  11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

(2.)  Revelation 20:  1-6, KJV:  1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.  2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,  3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled:  and after that he must be loosed a little season.  4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them:  and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.  5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.  6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection:  on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

(3.)  Revelation 20:  11-15, KJV:  11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.  12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened:  and another book was opened, which is the book of life:  and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.  13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them:  and they were judged every man according to their works.  14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.  15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.) Revelation 21:  7-8, KJV:  7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.  8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:  which is the second death.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

God Revealed Through Christ

A depiction of the fullness of divinity revealed through Jesus Christ

Today, focus is on defining “spirit” as an aspect of human and divine makeup.  Divine spirit is spoken of as authority, dominion, and power.  Many of the devices used to depict spirit (e.g., clouds, flame, fog, mist, smoke), in fact, are material substances made of fine particles.  All spirit is made up only of spirit; and the origin and source of all divine spirit is exclusively GOD.  Faith is made up only of faith; holiness consists only of holiness; righteousness contains only righteousness, and so on.  While emotions, mind, sensations, and thoughts also are immaterial and intangible, they are more the product and response of flesh to its outside setting and surroundings than a presentation of the exchanges and interactions among the elements in place as ones inner makeup.  Divine spirit substance can become defiled and profaned; and may be destroyed using the same holy fire that separates the acceptable portion of offerings and sacrifices transmitted to GOD from the matter that must be eliminated and removed.  The holy writings describe angels as spirit messengers and living creatures who are neither mortal nor immortal, and who exist and serve at the discretion of GOD.  Angels  have appeared to mankind using the likeness of men as well as forms that are strange and frightening (e.g., having four faces; moving by wheels; having multiple pairs of wings).  In addition to those accounted as holy and consecrated, there are others accounted as devils, “fallen” through the operations of sin, rebellious, and “unclean”.  The Lake of Fire that will be used to complete annihilation (the second death) and the judgments against sin has been prepared for the devil, his angels, and those who chose to be his followers.  A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” forum who uses the ID “Nightwolf” (Level 7 with 26,791 points, a member since December 08, 2015) posted the following:

What exactly is a spirit?

Is it like a energy being?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.  Hereby know ye the Spirit of God:  Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:  And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.  Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them:  because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.  They are of the world:  therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.  We are of God:  he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.  (1st John 4:  1-6, King James Version, KJV)

“Nightwolf”, here is a way we may speak together of these things:

Among Christian believers, spirit is not an ordinary object or thing having fixed and measurable features.  Being and personhood are specific appearances, material forms, and tools used to make what is unseen known; and both are used to describe qualities and traits of living creatures that have been fashioned by GOD, and given existence and life separate from the Creator.  By contrast, divinity is understood as a cause, the origin of all things, an active presence, and the eternal purpose for all existing without dimension (i.e., measurable form, or limits), and is the aggregate or sum of all sacred spirit substance.  Thus, Christians speak of Deity as an appearance of divine fullness (we also say, the GODhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit), who is immortal, incorruptible, and invisible.

Mankind was formed using material from the earth, and had physical existence before receiving awareness, life, and self-will.   Life essence (we say, breath; spirit; Word) from the makeup of GOD was imparted to a insensible figure; and man became a “living soul.”  Where we are told, mankind is made in the image of GOD, we take it to mean, the spirit content of men, rather than the facade and outer shell, is like that of GOD.  Divinity has used many embodiments and forms to become knowable, known, accessible and approachable to the living (e.g., fire, ice, judges, kings, nations, patriarchs, priests, prophets, water, winds).  Christians trust that—after using thousands of events, and thousands of lives, over the course of thousands of years to prepare mankind for the sacred events of his birth, life, death, and resurrection—GOD also appeared in flesh and human form as Jesus Christ (we say, Incarnation).

All spirit material is not divine in its authority, character, makeup, and response to godly truth.  Thus we speak of the “anti-christ spirit.”  Sin is no thing created by GOD, and is not a spirit, yet, sin may dominate awareness and self-will in the living; and the operations of sin show direction, effect, and presence.  Thus, Christians are cautioned to use discernment (i.e., apply their own imparted spirit from the makeup of GOD as a standard to recognize and respond to spirit substance from GOD within other persons, events, messages, motives, teachings, etc.)  Sinners may receive a fresh endowment of spirit content from GOD by becoming “born again.”  Their inborn spirit must die, be buried, and be raised from the dead, so to speak; and they are to become vessels of divine seed/DNA.  Imparted from GOD are inseparable aspects of the divine nature such as faith, forbearance, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, restraint, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Isaiah 11:  1-5, King James Version (KJV):  1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:  2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;  3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD:  and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:  4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth:  and he shall smite the earth:  with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.  5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

(2.)  John 3:  4-6, KJV:  4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?  5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

(3.)  John 1:  10-14, KJV:  10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.  11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.  12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:  13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.  14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Romans 8:  3-9, KJV:  3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:  4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, Scripture points are shared on Lucifer as a character in the Bible who represents sin and wickedness.  As in the use of parables, many simple statements are made within the holy writings that must be recognized and understood as emblems, figures and types building up, and contributing to fixed patterns for understanding.  Among them are many discrete mentions of the devil, Satan, and the seed of wickedness.  Believers often have many questions regarding this figure, his role in final judgment, human suffering, and the process of divine exorcism, for the devil is thought to inhabit and take authority over the will of others (i.e., possession).  As Satan, Lucifer is also called, the Deceiver and the accuser of the brethren.  Consider the following verses, and the presentation below:

John 8:  42-44, King James Version (KJV):  42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me:  for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.  43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.  44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own:   for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Ephesians 5:  5-7, KJV:  5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.  6 Let no man deceive you with vain words:  for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.  7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

Ephesians 2:  1-3  KJV:  1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;  2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:  3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Acts 13:  6-11, KJV:  6 And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Barjesus:  7 Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.  8 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.  9 Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him.  10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?  11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.

Where is the story of Lucifer in The Bible?

Before Earth was created in Heaven Lucifer was the most beloved angel, an archangel but he got jealous of God and convinced I think about a third of Heaven to rebel against God with him. Then he was defeaten cast to the Earth and became The Devil and his fellow rebels became the demons and ever since they’ve been doing dark stuff and yeah.

You know the story.

Where is it in The bible?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house:  and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.  He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;  The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;  The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.  As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.  The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;  And shall cast them into a furnace of fire:  there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.  Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.  (Matthew 13:  36-43, KJV)

“Joe”, instruction from the Bible that addresses the origins and operations of sin are found throughout the Scriptures as guidance provided over the course of thousands of years, through thousands of events described using thousands of lives.  Believers are to gradually acquire a consciousness of existence and life that embraces “spirit” as an aspect of all living process and substance.  Saying this another way:  Believers are granted a “GOD’s-eye-point of view, and should gain experience and sacred knowledge that supply a divine perspective.  Seeing what divinity sees is necessary, for GOD is a spirit who has put forth all that is including created beings and living creatures, their spheres for life (e.g., earth, forest, jungle, celestial heaven, oceans), multiple levels and process for change, growth, interaction and transformation as well as possibilities and potential for development, fulfillment and perfection.

The various accounts that describe sin through Satan as a living object having attributes and qualities of character, nature, and person begin in the Book of Genesis.  The serpent that appears to the first pair (Adam) is not a creation from GOD, has not been dispatched as an angelic messenger, and does not operate in accordance with the divine word, eternal purposes, and revealed will of GOD we speak of as “law.”   Thus, the name given to this agent and representation of opposition to divinity becomes “Satan”, that means, “the Adversary.”  (The word “devil” means “slanderer”, one who makes false reports to “bad mouth” someone else, soil their reputation, and damage their relationships.)

The name “Lucifer” is said to mean “light-bearing” and “the morning star,” and is used to speak of an archangel many Christian believers now also identify as one of the two covering cherubs before the throne of GOD (as depicted through the Ark of Covenant).  His place of high service could only be maintained through faith, and exalted humility.  As a spokesperson for GOD, and a manifesting of unseen Glory, the honor, praise, and worship being displayed had to be understood as directed to GOD, and not to himself.  Christ may be understood as the second of the pair.

In the language of the Scriptures, the following verses are often agreed upon as important to the full teaching on the place of Lucifer, divine judgment against corruption, salvation, and the triumph over sin through Jesus Christ:

(1.)  1st John 3:  7-9, King James Version (KJV):  7 Little children, let no man deceive you:  he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.  8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.  9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him:  and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

(2.)  1st Timothy 2:  13-14, KJV:  13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.  14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

(3.)  Isaiah 14:  12-15, KJV:  12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!  13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God:  I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:  14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.  15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

(4.)  Ezekiel 28:  15-17, KJV:  15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.  16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned:  therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God:  and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.  17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness:  I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

(5.)  Matthew 4:  8-11, KJV:  8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;  9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.  10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan:  for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.  11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

(6.)  Zechariah 3:  1-4, KJV:  1 And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.  2 And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee:  is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?  3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.  4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.

There is far more to be said, understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (7.)  Romans 8:  35-39, KJV:  35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?  36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.  37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.  38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,  39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Happy Thanksgiving Day!  Points are shared, today, on final judgment, Satan, and Sin.  Adam (the first human pair) was told the consequences and result of their sin would be death before their first transgression actually was committed.  Sin was not introduced using the language of codes, ordinances and statutes.  Even so, sin was described clearly in terms of accountability, altering exclusive focus, disobedience, divine displeasure, prohibition, and the violation of trust.  Consider again the following from the Bible, and the comments appearing below:  Revelation 4:  11, King James Version (KJV):  11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power:  for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.  Also, Revelation 12:  10-13, KJV:  10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ:  for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.  11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.  12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.  13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.  Matthew 25:  40-42, KJV:  40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.  41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:  42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat:  I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:  A fighter using the ID “Skunky” at “Yahoo! Does it make sense that God would drown the whole world in a flood cuz of their wickedness but he doesn’t get rid of the main problem?

which would be Satan..

God kills million upon millions of people because of their wickedness but doesn’t resolve the issue because he let the main source of the problem run around scott free.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold:  the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.  Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so:  thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.  Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.  By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned:  therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God:  and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.  Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness:  I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.  (Ezekiel 28:  13-17, KJV)

“Skunky”, neither GOD, mankind, nor Satan have been the origin for the operations of corruption and decay within  Creation that we now call “sin”.  Sin is an effect and an influence that has direction and presence; yet, we can not say sin is alive, or is a single thing that can be denied existence without upheaval of the universe.  The death of Christ upon the cross permits atonement for sin, and the imparted Spirit through rebirth permits resistance to sin, however, sin remains and is not totally eliminated.  Here are a number of points to consider that may not be familiar to you, yet, have been helpful to many mature Christian believers:

(1.)  Instruction from the Bible is relied upon by the followers of Jesus Christ that identifies Lucifer, later called Satan, as a created being who initially served as a divine agent (we say, administrator, prince, ruler, or spokesperson), and had place within the hierarchy of heaven.  The angels, “sacred beasts” and other living entities of heaven all are temporal, and endure at the discretion of divinity.  Only the GODhead is eternal and immortal; and the existence of angels continues on the basis of divine prerogative.

(2.)  Once he became recognized as one questioning the soundness of sacred law on the basis of covetousness, envy, presumption, pride and self-promotion, Lucifer was given the name “Satan”  that means “Adversary”; while the word “devil” means “one who speaks slander.”  It is believed that Satan was first to declare that divine law was not needed among those who are holy; that law is an insult to intelligence; and that divine law destroys freedom (free will).

(3.)  The name Satan is associated with sin; however, sin is no created thing, material object, or spirit substance from divinity.  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and of all divine order seen as the Creation.  Even so, sin may dominate awareness and self-will in created beings and living creatures.  Without the law, sin is invisible, and can not be seen as contrary to existence and life.

(4.)  All being proceeds as a continuous emanation of divine substance.  Thus, the active presence of GOD is known only by “revelation”—GOD appearing and divine actions that allow the living to perceive and realize exchanges and interactions among the inseparable aspects of spirit matter that are the makeup of Deity (e.g., faith, holiness, longsuffering, love, wisdom, wrath against sin).

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  Just as the loving character and nature of GOD can not be known and understood without sacred knowledge describing Creation and Salvation, Judgment also must come into view for the living to comprehend awe, divine mercy, righteousness, and sovereignty.  While Satan is called “the accuser of the brethren;” accuses divinity of being arbitrary, cruel, despotic, and unfair; continually challenges mankind for dominion over the earth; and is being used as an instrument for divine revelation, Satan does not compare to Jesus, the Son of the Highest:  Satan does not intercede for mankind, and is displayed as no advocate who embraces and understands the human predicament, or provides any comfort, benefits, and blessing to the living.  Final judgment of the wicked will occur after Satan has been cast into the Lake of Fire; and there will be no accuser.  All must answer the record of their own deeds as they appear recorded within the Book of Life.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

New Disclaimer

New DisclaimerThe biblical use of the word “seed” is considered, today, along with Scripture points on salvation through Jesus Christ.  In addition to its referring to agriculture, “seed” is used regarding sexual reproduction as well as spiritual rebirth where divine seed is implanted (we say, the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth).  By contrast, unrighteousness and wickedness also may be imparted.  Thus, there are also those among created beings and living creatures who exist as the children of disobedience, and the offspring of the wicked.  Consider again the following from the Bible, and the discussion appearing below:  John 8:  42-44, King James Version (KJV):  42 Jesus said unto them, if God were your Father, ye would love me.  For I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.  43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my  word.  44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lust of your father ye will do.  He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him.  When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own:  for he was a liar, and the father  of it.  Also, Ephesians 2:  1-3, KJV:  1 And you hath he quickened who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:  3 Among whom we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling our desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Christians: What constitutes a seed of falsehood and can they be saved?

The related scripture is this
Isaiah 57:4
Against whom do ye sport yourselves? against whom make ye a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood.

Are they a people produced of occultic origins?
Another scripture that comes to mind is
Galatians 3:8
And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

Would heathen be the same type of thing?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us:  for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:  That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.  Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man’s covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.  Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.  And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.  For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise:  but God gave it to Abraham by promise.  Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.  Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.  Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid:  for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.  But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.  (Galatians 3:  13-22, KJV)

“RU55311”, within the holy writings the word “seed” is used to speak of ones children and offspring, of doctrine, of things promised, and of what one may impart or implant by speaking.  Also, Jesus Christ is spoken of as the seed promised to Abraham that would fulfill divine commitment to all mankind.  The following Scriptures may help clarify the distinctions that are being made:

(1.)  Psalms 37:  23-29, King James Version (KJV):  23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD:  and he delighteth in his way.  24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down:  for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.  25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.  26 He is ever merciful, and lendeth:  and his seed is blessed.  27 Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.  28 For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever:  but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.  29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.

(2.)  1st John 3:  7-11, KJV:  7 Little children, let no man deceive you:  he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.   8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning.  For this purpose the son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.  9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him:  and he cannot sin because he is born of God.  10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil:  whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.  11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

(3.)  1st John 4:  1-4, KJV:  1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God:  because many false prophets are gone out into the world.  2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God:  Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God.  3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God:  and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.  4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them:  because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Matthew 13:  36-40, KJV:  36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house:  and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.  37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;  38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;  39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.  40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Scripture points are shared considering blame, Satan, and the cause, nature and origin of sin.  For Christian believers, divine love, rebirth, new life, and salvation are more to be themes for focus than damnation, darkness, sin, and wickedness.  Before acquiring correct sacred knowledge from the holy writings, many mistakenly believe that Satan disguised as a serpent was the creator of all sin and wickedness, particularly among mankind and upon the earth.  However, sin first emerged separate from desire (i.e., no one asked for it, or craved it), and operated as corruption (we say, decay, defilement, rot) within the holy angels of heaven.  At first hidden and invisible, sin became revealed through attitudes, behavior, conduct, utterance, and  orientation.  While sin is often described using organic characteristics and forms of human behavior, and emotion (e.g., ambition, envy, greed, hate, malice, possessiveness, pride, selfishness, violence), in fact, sin is abstract and intangible, akin to the chaos, vanity, and lack of divine substance that existed before Creation.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Hercules” (Level 1 with 4 points, a member since May 21, 2013) posted the following:

Who tempted the devil to be sinful? Don’t say he had free will because that nullifies any need for mankind to have a tempter to commit sin?

…unless you’re claiming that angelic free will is somehow different to human free will, which, as far as I’m aware isn’t mentioned anywhere in scripture

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.  And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee:  is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?  Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.  And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.  And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by.  And the angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua, saying,  Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.  Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee:  for they are men wondered at:  for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the Branch.  For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes:  behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.  In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.  (Zechariah 3:  1-10, KJV)

“Hercules”, Christian believers first must receive the imparted, indwelling Spirit from the makeup of GOD to correctly apprehend as spiritual truth the cause, nature and origin of sin as presented within the holy writings.  While various operations that serve as the divine response to sin have been completed by Jesus Christ as a single aspect of full divinity, it is an error to think one may simply place “the blame” for sin upon any single individual, or to think sin may be eliminated or removed without permanent change as an alternative to total upheaval.  Sin is the transgression of the law, where law is the expressed will of GOD.  While sin has not been created or put forth by divinity, sin behaves as a non-material, non-spirit influence upon awareness and self-will within the created.  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the law giver, and all divine order established through sacred law.  Sin is not a living entity, contains no spirit matter from GOD, yet, displays direction, effect, and presence.  In a sense, sin is self-destructive and sin does not exist; however, sin pertains to aspects of full existence (e.g., duration, form, inclusion, person, presence, substance); divine intent and eternal purpose; and the broad spectrum of sacred operations (e.g., acknowledgement, assigning value (we say, judgment), atonement, birth, commandment, death, incarnation, rebirth, sanctification, utterance).  Many fear Satan will be the accuser of mankind in final judgment.  However, Satan already will have been cast into the Lake of Fire; and only ones own deeds recorded within the Books of Life will accuse or commend them as they answer before the throne of Grace.  Here are a few points from the Bible that Christians rely upon to avoid error and spiritual confusion regarding Satan and sin:

(1.)  Ezekiel 28:  16-18, King James Version (KJV):  16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned:  therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God:  and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.  17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness:  I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.  18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

(2.)  John 8:  43-45, KJV:  43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.  44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own:  for he is a liar, and the father of it.  45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

(3.)  2nd Timothy 2:  22-26, KJV:  22 Flee also youthful lusts:  but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.  23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.  24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,  25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;  26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

There is much more that could be said, and that must be correctly understood and spiritually taken into account.  (For example, (4.)  Ephesians 2:  1-6, KJV:  1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;  2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:  3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.  4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,  5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)  6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:)  Even so, I trust this small collection of verses will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Spiritual confusion stemming from the account of sin among angels in heaven comes into view, again.  A fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Earl” (Level 1 with 4 points, a member since November 21, 2013) posted the following:

If demons are angels that sinned, doesnt that mean heaven isnt perfect?

Maybe god isnt perfect either , or maybe there is no such thing as perfect when referring to a “being”

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,  According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:  Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises:  that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.  And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;  And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;  And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.  For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.  Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure:  for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:  For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  (2nd Peter 1:  2-11, KJV)

“Earl”, your expression of faith moves me to share a few points from my own understanding of divine perfection:

(1.)  While to be “perfect” is to be complete, finished, and at the highest level of quality, the perfection of GOD expressed through material creation, created beings, and living creatures also generates change, development, diversity, growth, and movement.  Divine perfection must be established using a divine standard that would include balance, all specific holy intent, eternal life, and sacred purpose.

(2.)  GOD is a spirit, and the perfection of spirit is not apprehended using finite intellect, logic, mathematics, reason, philosophy, and science.  Spirit is without measurable dimensions that are the core substance for secular knowledge.  Aristotle’s course for classifying and grouping things is plain, and has served on many levels for human experience.  When applied to spiritual things that rule becomes what Christians call “discernment” (spirit content must be used to recognize and respond to other spirit content).

(3.)  Sin is no material or spirit thing put forth from the Creator, yet, sin has direction, effect, and presence.  Sin may dominate awareness and self-will in the living.  Christians who receive Jesus Christ as redeemer and savior also acknowledge his office as the High Priest within the Temple of heaven.  The cleansing and removal of the marks from sin are accomplished only by applications of blood that convey life and sacred substance (we say, divinity).

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Just as their place in relationship are not the same as that for Deity, perfection for GOD is not that for finite beings.  The Creator is immutable and unchanging; and is being made known and revealed to the created through multiple sacred processes.  Included are atonement, advent, correction, healing, incarnation, death, judgment, rebirth, resurrection, and sanctification.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
