Today, focus is on the importance and value of being in a personal relationship with divinity.  Correctly understood, GOD is more than an abstract idea, an imaginary being, or an unseen force like the wind.  GOD is immutable and unchanging, yet, uses change, diversity, and process.  Thus, for mankind there are birth, death, aging, growth, learning, and transformation to be immortal.  Understanding that as humans we are made in the image of GOD, we are certain GOD has character, mind, person, and potential that include intimate communication, exchange, expression, and interaction (we say, personal relationship).  While collectives, congregations and communities of faith are in place that seek to facilitate and make it easier for an individual to receive confirmation, guidance, instruction, and support, institutions and organizations can not replace, or be a substitute for the internal operations of divine Spirit that are actually what set a person apart as a “child of GOD.”  One of the fighters at “Yahoo! 7 Answers (Australia)” using the ID “Anonymous” (Level 1 with 189 points, a member since December 27, 2016) posted the following:

What is the wlole point of having a relationship with God? The whole idea of salvation? How is my life on earth different?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;  Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:  Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.  But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,  Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)  And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:  That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:  it is the gift of God:  Not of works, lest any man should boast.  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.  (Ephesians 2:  1-10, King James Version, KJV)

“Anonymous”, human potential includes the possibility for expression of a character and nature that is animal, human, or divine.  Men and women may become the heirs and offspring of GOD.  In the same way it is required of created beings and living creatures that they acknowledge and respond to conditions, obligations, and multiple events that describe life experience (e.g., changes in the weather, hunger, pain, sleepiness), the living also are required to recognize and show respect to the active presence (we say, breath, life essence, spirit, word) and persons that are the complete GODhead.  Through revelation—that includes appearing in carnal form as Jesus Christ—the immortal, incorruptible Creator makes divinity knowable, known, and “visible.”  All the features of consciousness and existence are used, yet, uppermost are operations of divine Spirit, rather than intellect, logic, carnal reason, or science.  Things that are carnal, material, and social are given new meanings and values.  By accepting and conforming to sacred law and divine order self-will in finite beings becomes infused with authority, godliness, and inseparable aspects of spirit content from the makeup of Deity such as faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, meekness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  For those who are in an ongoing personal relationship with GOD as sinners now born again, permanent changes are being made in their makeup and substance that gradually appear through their daily routines and lifestyle.  The gifts of GOD they are to apply and put to use go beyond and transcend the usual frameworks provided for duration, prosperity, and survival.  Christian believers receive comfort, atonement and salvation from the consequences of sin, and even the beginnings of their eternal life as companions to GOD.   Consider the following from the holy writings:

(1.)  Romans 8:  5-9, King James Version (KJV):  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

(2.)  Romans 8:  13-17, KJV:  13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die:  but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.  14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.  15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.  16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:  17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

(3.)  Ephesians 2:  11-13, KJV:  11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;  12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:  13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  2nd Peter 1:  2-4, KJV:  2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,  3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:  4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises:  that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, focus is on the endowment from GOD that makes possible human understanding in ongoing relationships with divinity.  The eternal purposes of GOD that appear in Creation display both putting forth and drawing in whatever is sacred in character, nature, and substance.  GOD knows and understands all the possibilities for expression that exist throughout Creation, and may use actions, emotion, silence, and unknown tongues to communicate.  The Creator reigns and rules as sovereign over all, yet, the Creator does not share personal relationship with all.  The GODhead reveals a greater fullness of divinity to those granted anointing through the blood of Jesus and the Holy Spirit (we also say, the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth) as well as through divine gifts of awareness, conscience, redemption, salvation, sacred knowledge, and sanctification.  In spite of limitations from brief duration, mortality, separation, and sin, divine grace has made it possible for all created beings and living creatures to communicate and enjoy a rich personal experience of fellowship with GOD.  In addition to awareness, confession, petition, and prayer as dialog, the living may acceptably acknowledge and engage Deity through such features as awe, forgiveness, humility, obedience, praise, promise, repentance, unselfish service, and worship.  A fighter at “Yahoo! Answers (Philippines)” using the ID “Mortal Seeker” (Level 3 with 1,591 points, a member since April 14, 2012) posted the following:

If God speak to us, how would we ever understand?

Would a bacteria or a plankton understand if a human spoke to it?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,  According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:  Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises:  that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.  And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;  And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;  And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.  For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.  Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure:  for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:  For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  (2nd Peter 1:  2-11, King James Version, KJV)

“Mortal Seeker”, divinity has used patriarchs, prophets, rulers, and apostles as spokespersons.  That the authority, knowledge and power of the Creator are awesome, exalted, preeminent and sovereign is not an obstacle to created beings and living creatures continuing to be in ongoing relationship with divinity.  The Spirit of GOD that established the heaven and earth at Creation also operates as the agent, presence, and representative of Jesus Christ, who is Risen Lord.  The Holy Spirit is able to introduce the necessary operations for permanent change within the character and makeup of the living that fit the created to exist as part of the “oneness without sameness” shared among the persons of the GODhead.  Created ones become companions to immortal, incorruptible, invisible GOD by acts of GOD that include proclaiming law, judgment, and deliverance.   The Spirit gradually imparts content from the makeup of Deity that must be in place for the living to share communication, exchange, and interaction with the Creator.  Thus, through multiple sacred devices (e.g., contemplation, water baptism, fellowship with mature believers, anointed music ministry, prayer, prophecy, study of the holy writings) sinners experience adoption of the Holy Spirit and rebirth.  Believers are given fresh endowments of divine life essence (we say, breath, spirit, word).  Inseparable aspects of divine fullness are received, are to continue in balance, and are to increase that include faith, holiness, hope, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, meekness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Once “born again” a sinner will have standing as an offspring (child) of GOD; is to “grow up again” meeting the same challenges as all others on the earth; and is to become mature as a vessel who presents to others the active presence of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Consider the following points from the Bible:

(1.)  Deuteronomy 4:  9-13, King James Version (KJV):  9 Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life:  but teach them thy sons, and thy sons’ sons;  10 Specially the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.  11 And ye came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness.  12 And the LORD spake unto you out of the midst of the fire:  ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice.  13 And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.

(2.)  1st Corinthians 2:  9-16, KJV:  9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.  10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit:  for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.  11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.  12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.  13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.  14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:  for they are foolishness unto him:  neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.  15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.  16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. Today, points are shared on Incarnation, revelation, the GODhead, and worship from mankind.  Obedience to divine law, prayer, revelation and worship all pertain to directing the consciousness, concentration, and focus of human awareness and self-will for the apprehension of oneness without sameness.  The full revelation of GOD to created beings and living creatures requires responses from  divinity where Deity is active and present as a knowable and recognizable event, object, or person; and demands manifestations that are both external (we say, independent; material; objective; separate) as well as internal (we say, inward; of ones nature; subjective).  Before the finite platforms of the firmament were shaped to serve as heaven and earth, GOD existed being diffuse, and without measurable dimension or duration.  Divinity does not exist outside of the knowing and mind that are imparted and projected from GOD.  Responding to created beings and living creatures, GOD is now partly known having used forms that include image, word, and inseparable spirit substance (e.g., faith, holiness, longsuffering, meekness, mercy, wisdom, and wrath against sin).  The complete revelation of GOD must unveil the extent of divinity within man, man within GOD as well as GOD continuing eternally as exalted, immutable, preeminent and sovereign over all.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Brian” (Level 6 with 12,874 points, a member since June 11, 2006) posted the following:

Trinitarians, did Jesus worship a man-god or did he worship Jehovah God?

Trinitarian worship a trinity god that is fully god and fully man.

Jesus claimed Jehovah (YWHW, YAHWEH, Yahowah] as his God.

At John 17:3 he calls Jehovah the only true God.

Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

At John 20:17 he tells his followers that Jehovah, the Father that the Jewish people worshiped, was his God as well.

Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

Did he worship Jehovah, or did he worship a man-god like the Trinitarians do?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;  Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;  And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;  That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:  For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.  Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.  And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:  Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.  (Acts 17:  24-31, King James Version, KJV)

“Brian”, revelation has been unfolding in stages.  Sinners on the earth are not granted full knowledge of the things pertaining to GOD; yet, we are allowed to discern and recognize patterns (ABCDEFG…) that give us a correct sense of expectation (…XYZ is coming).  Increasingly, mature Christian believers holding to sacred knowledge from the imparted, indwelling Spirit accept that the operations of the Creator to become knowable, known, and “visible” to all created beings and living creatures have been “additive” (i.e., introducing more and new information to complement, refresh, and reinforce what was provided as the original, intended “information content” of the living).  Unlike the angels (who are neither all-knowing nor immortal), mankind is to acquire knowledge through gradual change, experience, growth, and learning.

The processes of fellowship with GOD were put into place to provide for continuous discovery of the divine character, makeup and substance, therefore, revelation is interactive, promissory, and prophetic.  Within the joined, eternal fullness of divinity (we say, the GODhead), there is no need for an ongoing process of revelation, nor should we expect the elements of ceremony, obedience, ritual, submission to authority, and “worship” to appear.  The longing for a memorable and recognizable appearance of GOD who is “spirit” (we say, breath, life essence, word) has been addressed through faith, divine law, his audible word, and all that appears within the spheres of life (e.g., beings, hearts, minds, objects).  Even so, those who exist having carnal and material form (we say, the flesh), depend upon social interaction, organize information using the frameworks of time and space, rely upon appetite, emotion and sense experience (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching), and are vulnerable to the operations of sin that may dominate awareness and self-will in the living.  Mankind, therefore, requires other manifestations of fundamental truth.

Man is to accept that divinity has appeared on the earth using flesh, and having person as Jesus Christ, an offspring of both Adam and GOD.  Beyond a simple revelation of Deity, multiple eternal purposes and operations of the Holy Spirit have been addressed and fulfilled including atonement for sin; fulfillment of proclamation, promise, and prophecy; both judgment and salvation of sinners; rebirth; sanctification; the elimination of death and sin; the perfection of existence as well as the transformation of mankind to serve as immortal, incorruptible companions of divinity.  In no way should the sacred practices to fulfill the divine will be regarded by believers as opposing the continued existence of divine law (iniquity, transgression, and sin), or violating the sacred law.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, since the day of Adam and Eve, revelation from GOD has been by establishing a relationship of full disclosure, intimacy, personal sharing, reconciliation, respect, and self-exposure.  Ultimately, mankind is to exist with GOD upon an earth that will include no night and day marked by the sun and moon, no oceans, and no physical structures for gathering to worship GOD.  Death and mortality as we now know them will not exist.  The GODhead will be the only necessary light.)   Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, the duty and work of church attendance are in view.  As Christians, our awareness, self-will, and spirit content must become anchored and grounded in the full revelation of GOD through imparted divine substance.  From the greeting by ushers at the door, the discipline shown by the prophets serving as a choir, to the message preached from the pulpit by anointed clergy, there are numberless benefits and gifts imparted to the believer through their regular church attendance as well as an opportunity for them to demonstrate and share their own commitment, and accomplishments of spiritual growth.  A fighter at “Yahoo! “ShoeShopper2”, all Christians have to learn the importance of sharing in congregation.  As “born again” believers, we have to be about “growing up again,” that is, taking on maturity and exclusive devotion to our Creator as the offspring of GOD.  We are to submit to operations by the Spirit of GOD that will result in permanent changes in our lifestyle, our outlook, and our sense of purpose.  While our being made the new creation of GOD through Jesus Christ is miraculous and occurs in an instance, our becoming balanced, complete, and stable through growth and learning must be conditional, continuous and gradual.  The transformation whereby sinners become believers who live as immortal, incorruptible companions to divinity will be finished only at the Advent (we also say, his appearing, the harvest, the Rapture, the Second Coming) when they are “taken up to meet him in the air.”  In the meantime, we are to acquire sacred knowledge in place of secular knowledge; endure the same challenges and “growing pains,” of those upon the earth; we are to continue sacred practices (sacraments); engage one another in sacred fellowship; and pursue unselfish service to GOD.  Believers are to be vessels containing spirit content from the makeup of GOD including faith, holiness, hope, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  With this in view, church attendance gives a believer opportunity to affirm, encourage, minister and prophesy to others in ways outsiders may not see or understand that go beyond what is carnal, material and social.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  Deuteronomy 6:  5-9, King James Version (KJV):  5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.  6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:  7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.  8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.  9 And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

(2.)  Matthew 20:  25-28, KJV:  25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.  26 But it shall not be so among you:  but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;  27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:  28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Hebrews 10:  23-29, KJV:  23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)  24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:  25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another:  and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.  26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,  27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.  28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:  29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Hope-of-Glory.jpg

Today, focus is on the continuing desire in mankind that the glory lost through Adam’s fall be restored.   Rightly understood, glory, respect, reverence, and worship are not the same.  The glory within the GODhead is different from that for angels, animals, mankind, the sacred beasts of heaven, and the 24 elders, there.  The glory of Christ during his transfiguration was different from that made visible as he opened blind eyes, turned water into wine, walked on water, and rebuked the storm.  Similarly, the glory of Christ appearing as High Priest is different from that as Creator, as Judge, as King, as the Crucified, or as the Resurrected One.  In addition to the hope for atonement, forgiveness, reconciliation, and spiritual gifts, sinners are to know the same hope for multiple manifestations of glory that was in Jesus Christ.  In the process of GOD, hoping (i.e., anticipating, expecting) is to replace coveting, desiring and longing.  A more certain foundation of hope now is in place for mankind through fulfilled sacred proclamations, promises, and prophecies.  At the coming of Christ in three-fold glory (that of the Father, Son, and the holy angels) to harvest the earth, believers also will be transformed to show forth glory.  In his first coming, the fullness of divine glory was somewhat hidden and veiled, yet, was clearly visible as an important feature revealed in the image of GOD, Jesus Christ.  We often miss that glory is a feature that was to be continually mirrored in the first human pair.  One of the fighters at “Yahoo! Answers (New Zealand)” using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information appears) posted the following:

What “glory” is Jesus referring in John 17:22?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:  (John 17:  22, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Called, Justified, and Glorified? (01/08/2017); Different Form, Same Relationship? (11/20/2016); The Transfiguration of Christ (11/14/2016); Become Like Jesus Christ? (10/27/2016); To Give Glory? (11/11/2015); Christ Coming Soon? (10/16/2015); The Glory of GOD? (06/23/2015)

“Anonymous”, there is much to say when speaking about divine glory.  Adam and Eve lost their spiritual covering (glory) from GOD that beautified their nakedness.  By being born and appearing on the earth having human form, Jesus Christ also became subject to the human condition that included having to rely upon the frameworks of time and space to organize and structure information, having to encounter boundaries and limits upon inseparable aspects of spirit content (e.g., authority, faith, holiness, purity), and having to rely on operations by both the flesh and the Spirit that introduce, complete, and maintain irreversible or permanent change (e.g., aging, forgetting, growth, maturing).  As an aspect of being the Son of Adam, Jesus inherited the consequences for transgressing divine law that also include having to endure a residual longing to be returned to the first relationship with the Creator and the standing Adam enjoyed as a companion to GOD.  The glory Jesus could achieve while upon the earth—and what all the sons of Adam now can display—had to be distinct from what the Lord displayed in founding the heaven and the earth.  Thus, the Savior used a ministry of exorcisms, healing, other sacred events (we say, miracles), dying upon the cross, resurrection and ascension to reveal himself as the Son of GOD.  There are many indications that, like blood within flesh, glory must be continually circulated and imparted among the GODhead as an ordinary aspect of ongoing existence.  Consider again the following from the holy writings:

(1.)  Isaiah 42:  5-8, King James Version (KJV):  5 Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:  6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;  7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.  8 I am the LORD:  that is my name:  and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

(2.)  1st Corinthians 15:  39-47, KJV:  39 All flesh is not the same flesh:  but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.  40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial:  but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.  41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars:  for one star differeth from another star in glory.  42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:  43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory:  it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:  44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.  45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.  46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.  47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.

(3.)  John 14:  12-13, KJV:  12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.  13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  John 17:  1-5, KJV:  1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:  2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.  3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.  4 I have glorified thee on the earth:  I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.  5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Humility.jpg

Today, Scriptures on humility are shared.  Humility is not named among the gifts received by those in the Upper Room at Pentecost.  Even so, humility is crucial to acquiring sacred knowledge, appearing in judgment, displaying love, obeying, and performing unselfish service.  Humility also pertains to expressing awe, making sacrifice, showing respect, and suffering.  One of the fighters at “Yahoo! What is a good scripture in the bible to learn about humility?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.  Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.  Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:  Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:  But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:  And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.  Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:  That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;  And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.  (Philippians 2:  3-11, King James Version, KJV)

“Anonymous”, while many Scriptures counsel believers to display humility as an aspect of ongoing relationship with Christ and with those who are his church, there is little that describes how to acquire humility, or the origins of sacred humility.  Where we regard humility as an aspect of the full divine nature, we take it that humility is bestowed along with other spirit content such as faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, meekness (we say, being teachable by the Holy Spirit), wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Humility and lowliness are the opposites to ambition, pretension, and exaggerated pride.  It is correct, therefore, to ask for and request humility by prayer as a gift from GOD.  Humility appears as an expression of awe (also called “fear of the Lord” and reverence).  Awe is the correct recognition at the same time of both ones own powerlessness and the surpassing authority and sovereignty of GOD.  For many sinners, humility only appears as the fruit and product of chastisement, rebuke, and wrath against sin.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  Proverbs 15:  32-33, King James Version (KJV):  32 He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul:  but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding.  33 The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.

(2.)  Matthew 18:  1-5, KJV:  1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?  2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,  3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.  4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.  5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.

(3.)  Hebrews 12:  4-9, KJV:  4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.  5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:  6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.  7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?  8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  1st Peter 5:  2-7, KJV:  2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;  3 Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being examples to the flock.  4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.  5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility:  for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.  6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:  7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, focus is on the error that Abraham was justified before GOD through works of the law, rather than through grace.  Instead of emphasizing abstraction, ceremony, correctness, and formality, the sacred processes for existence, life, revelation, and salvation all show the Creator as caring, feeling, intimate, organic, and personal.  The man, Abram stood out as an heir of Adam, and was chosen by GOD as a companion to divinity on the basis of the  faith in GOD’s word that Abram displayed, not on the basis of the obedience of Abram to the law of GOD.  Ones performance as a believer is known by their own works, while their salvation as a believer is known by the works of Jesus Christ.  The bonds to divinity through faith and righteousness are not through any deed or act of will by the created; and appear in accord with sacred presence, divine emanation, imparting of the Holy Spirit, and oneness without sameness (we say, union; existence within GOD).  The fighter at “Yahoo! “Abraham was justified by works”Did abraham have perfect works?

I thoughts Jesus was the only one to fufill the law..

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.  Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness.  How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.  And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised:  that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:  And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.  For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.  For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:  Because the law worketh wrath:  for where no law is, there is no transgression.  Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,  (Romans 4:  8-16, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Salvation By Faith Alone? (01/19/2017); Called, Justified, and Glorified? (01/08/2017); Why Are Works Required? (07/18/2016); More On Divine Justification (02/08/2016); Justified Through Christ? (08/26/2015); Fulfilling Divine Law? (07/14/2015); Ye Are Abraham’s Seed (07/10/2015)

“Christian4678”, the accounts of Abraham that appear in the holy writings are aspects of divine revelation that uses flesh and blood to make immortal, incorruptible divinity knowable, known, and “visible”.  Sinners are to focus on the character, makeup, and substance of GOD (we say, breath,  spirit, word) appearing as Jesus Christ, rather than the excellence, goodness, or outstanding behavior of themselves as created beings and living creatures.

The Word (Christ) and the law of GOD appear as co-existent with eternal Deity, and are understood as the authentic expression of divine commitment, direction, intent, and purpose (we say, the heart, mind, and will of GOD).   Yet, law distances the created from the Creator by requiring balance, impartiality, independence, restraint, and even silence.  The “active presence” of GOD is further made recognizable through the law, as are iniquity, rebellion, sin, and willfulness in the living.  While obedience is the putting aside of ones own will to carry out and perform the will of another, the acknowledgment of GOD by responding to divine law does not make atonement, eliminate sin, justify, provide correction, or permanently transform offenders to stand before GOD as righteous.

Covenant and personal relationships are required as salvation, and the death and resurrection of ones inborn spirit must occur.  The living may be endowed with fresh divine content.  Included are faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Even before the declaration of law that was granted to Moses and those who left Egypt with him, and before Abraham was acknowledged through divine prophecy and promises, we see the Creator expressing care and concern for all he has put forth.  There are no specific actions, behaviors, and required works the created may perform to justify their own existence, or lay claim to eternal life, for salvation is only by grace, oneness without sameness, divine prerogative, and sovereign will.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, works make spirit content visible, yet, do not deposit or increase spirit content.  Thus, he same teaching that cautions us regarding faith and works also applies to having sacred knowledge and what is displayed by works:  James 2:  18-23, King James Version (KJV):  18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works:  shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.  19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well:  the devils also believe, and tremble.  20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?  21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?  22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?  23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness:  and he was called the Friend of God.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
