Saul Attacking David (1646)
by Giovanni Francesco Barbieri (Guercino)

Today, reply is made on divine impartiality in judgment as the first kings of Israel, Saul and David, are contrasted.  In general the works of Saul may be spoken of as political and secular, while the works of David included a broad range of spiritual acts and prophetic demonstrations that furthered the order and beauty of priesthood.  As the heirs of Adam, both men were sinners, both were labeled by GOD as “bloody”, both men were mortals who eventually died, and both should be carefully considered for their use by divinity to make visible the aspects of sacred makeup such as faithfulness, forgiveness, longsuffering, mercy, patience, repentance, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” forum using the ID “Capricorn” (Level 1 with zero (0) points shown, a member since March 09, 2017) posted the following:

Why did YHWH condemn Saul to death, but he didn’t do the same to David who also sinned against God?

Scripture tells us that both Saul and David have disobeyed God, but Saul was (effectively) condemned to death, whilst God commuted David’s death penalty.

So why did God kill only one person, but not both of them if they both sinned against him?

What made Saul different from David that he should fall onto his sword and have his head put on display by his enemies?

Why was God more lenient towards David although they have both sinned against him?

Why should they be treated differently if they have both sinned against Jehovah.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Then there was a famine in the days of David three years, year after year; and David enquired of the LORD. And the LORD answered, It is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he slew the Gibeonites.  And the king called the Gibeonites, and said unto them; (now the Gibeonites were not of the children of Israel, but of the remnant of the Amorites; and the children of Israel had sworn unto them:  and Saul sought to slay them in his zeal to the children of Israel and Judah.)  Wherefore David said unto the Gibeonites, What shall I do for you? and wherewith shall I make the atonement, that ye may bless the inheritance of the LORD?  (2nd Samuel 21:  1-3, King James Version, KJV)

“Capricorn”, the revelation of GOD is about Jesus Christ, and the lessons we are given use nations and kings such as Judah and Israel, Saul and David.  There are multiple operations and tools used by GOD to make immortal, incorruptible, unseen divinity knowable, known, accessible, and approachable.  Through the Bible we are allowed to “see” GOD from a divine point of view (i.e., appearing through thousands of events within thousands of lives over the course of thousands of years).  The peculiar study methods of comparing (showing how two figures are the same) and contrasting (showing how figures are different) appear throughout the Scriptures.  In some instances there is a direct pairing of figures (e.g., the brothers Abel and Cain, or Esau and Jacob; the prophets Balaam and  Moses; the High Priests Aaron and Melchizedek); others can be discovered easily and made the focus of detailed studies (For example, the Judge Samson can be compared to King Solomon as the judge who determines the true mother of a child in a dispute between two prostitutes.  The ruin for both these sacred figures came through their weaknesses relating to women.  Samson yielded to the nagging of one woman; while Solomon yielded to those among his 700 wives and 300 concubines.)  Keep in mind, when GOD proclaimed his glory before Moses, he declared the sins of the fathers will challenge the following four generations (i.e., as much as 160 years).

The character and spirit content of Saul began to come into view when he was introduced to divine service through an encounter with the prophet Samuel.  Saul was seeking animals (property) that had strayed from his home.  Before being supported in public as the chosen king of Israel, much to his surprise and that of everyone else, Saul first experienced an anointing among a group of prophets who were strangers to him.  At first, Saul displayed no ambition to be prophet or king, and even hid himself to avoid being taken.  Later, his determination to establish his own continuing dynasty became a form of insanity and madness.  His first “official business” as king that gained him favor was a military intervention where he would be the champion for Jabesh-gilead against the Ammonites.  (The Gibeonites in fact were Amorites (Gentiles) who had tricked those under Joshua into making a forbidden covenant.  Later, Saul would seek to eliminate them all, and following his death, Israel would be cursed with famine for three years.)  Saul accused Ahimelech of rebellion and aiding of David, and commanded 85 from the line of priests be slaughtered at Nob.  When Saul realized he no longer had the favor of GOD, and following the death of his adviser, Samuel, Saul went so far as to seek knowledge from the dead through a witch, rather than repent, or step down from being king over Israel.  Saul’s death was by suicide after being wounded in battle.

Before the defeat of the Philistine champion, Goliath, David had been anointed to be king by the Prophet Samuel.  David challenged the giant in reverence to GOD.  Even so, David’s ascendance to the throne of Israel required a full generation (40 years) that included tempering and testing through life as a fugitive, serving as a leader of refugees and those also persecuted by Saul, secretly fighting against the enemies of Israel as well as serving as king over Hebron.  David expressed devotion to GOD from his youth, and throughout his lifetime displayed a sacred anointing that included faith, gratitude, humility, longsuffering, meekness, and repentance.  GOD would not allow David to pursue his selfish plan to build a temple at Jerusalem; yet, granted that his dynasty would reign, and pledged that the promised prophet and ruler of Israel (many say, the Messiah) would come from his line.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and made a part of our own spiritual grasp.  (For example, David died at home in bed as did Jacob.  In addition to service as king, the anointing upon David also was that of judge, priest, and prophet.  Thus, David recovered the Ark of the Covenant, created a new tent of meeting, established the liturgy for worship as well as the schedules of service for the Levites.  Because of the coronation of Solomon before his death, Israel as a united kingdom had two consecrated monarchs on a single throne at the same time, the father and the son.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, thoughts are shared on current events and the end of the world.  Applying the time prophecies of 70 years written in Jeremiah 25:  11-33, King James Version, (KJV) to modern Israel (1948) and acknowledging a modern Babylon, some have calculated 2018 for the end of the world.  Yet, the word of the Lord from Jeremiah was to abide in Babylon and not to seek shelter from Egypt (chapter 42).  Ministries that ignore the warnings against attempting to calculate the coming of Christ on the basis of prophesy risk becoming discredited, and their followers dealt faith-shattering blows and disappointment.  As the caretakers and keepers of the earth, the people of GOD through Jesus Christ have been commanded to “occupy” until the Savior returns.  For Christians, then, “to occupy” means maintain, buildup, and nourish the aspects of Spirit that appear among you; set apart for GOD and sanctify the earth; and be fruitful as you tarry and wait for the return of our Risen Lord.  Christians are to be the active presence, a living vessel containing divine law, and an embodiment of the GODhead in the same way the Son of the Highest has been an Incarnation.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Why do people even care about what trump does in office when the world ends in 2018?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.  I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.  They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.  Sanctify them through thy truth:  thy word is truth.  As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.  And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.  Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;  That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us:  that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.  And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:  I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.  (John 17:  14-23, King James Version, KJV)

“chad”, here are some thoughts I can share:  People care because accountability is always an aspect of genuine love, maturity, and understanding.  Many Christian believers are trusting that our instructions from Jesus for this hour center on preparing ourselves for his Advent (we say, the harvest, the Rapture, the Second Coming), rather than daily fixing on and responding to activism and protest, death and despair, current events, political conflicts, secular knowledge, or emotional, psychological, sexual and social issues.  Such features from the flesh and the world will continue to be aspects of finite human experience that serve as hurdles and obstacles to sacred practice and spiritual growth.  They also are to serve as the necessary challenges, prods, and “growing pains” whereby those who are “born again” are energized to “grow up again.”

Christians are to acknowledge and proclaim the revealed purposes of GOD are the putting forth of existence, life, and the fullness of divine substance.  Believers are anointed, endowed, and supplied with every resource for maintaining divine order that should appear within earth, heaven, the universe, and all Creation.  Developing believers must discover revealed knowledge from GOD, and routinely display deposits of spirit content from the makeup of GOD.  Included here are the inseparable features of faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

For those in covenant and personal relationships with GOD, there will be no “end of the world,” or total destruction of mankind.  Yet, there will be judgment; there will be resurrection of the dead; there will be transformation whereby mankind will be made an immortal companion to divinity; and there will be the elimination of sin and the final destruction of the wicked (we say, the second death).  In the same way only GOD is now immortal and incorruptible, only GOD knows the exact day and hour appointed for the end of things as we now know them.  Because they have not been given an authoritative word from GOD on the schedule of final events, believers are to discipline their bodies and minds to live responsibly as part of the world, yet, as if the Lord will come before you can compete the reading of this response.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Romans 8:  5-9, King James Version (KJV):  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

(2.)  Revelation 2:  10-11, KJV:  10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer:  behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days:  be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.  11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.) 2nd Peter 3:  8-14, KJV:  8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.  9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.  10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.  11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,  12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?  13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.  14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

No-One-Else.jpg

Today, focus is on the proper reading of verses in the Bible that can be read as stating all mankind will be saved.  All have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD.  Following the sin of Adam, GOD began to put forth a broad range of divine provisions to extend eternal life and salvation to mankind.  While many of these involved actors, agencies, and endowments that would not be bestowed upon, or have direct contact with every living individual, they nonetheless were to supply a benefit to everyone who would live on the earth.  Included were adoption of the Spirit, anointing, atonement, baptism, election, Incarnation, prophecy, resurrection from the dead, spokespersons (e.g., priests, judges, kings, apostles), and the body of Christ, the church.  At their creation, the operations of GOD established the integrity of created beings and living creatures by not dominating their awareness and self-will.  Among men, the living are allowed to gradually change, grow, and learn by discovery, risk-taking, and trial-and-error.  Therefore, the full process of salvation is collaborative, corrective, interactive, intimate, progressive, and voluntary.  Through Jesus Christ, forgiveness, reconciliation, mercy, rebirth, and repentance are now available to all.  Even so, because of defiance, ignorance and exaggerated pride, many stubbornly continue iniquity, and remain on the path to perdition and the second death.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using ID “Jon Pike” (Level 6 with 13,049 points, a member since May 31, 2016) posted the following:

Does 1 Timothy 4:10 mean all people are saved whether they believe in the Lord or not?

“We struggle and work hard, because we have placed our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all and especially of those who believe.” (1 Tim. 4:10)

My question is the meaning of “…Savior of all and especially of those who believe.”

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.  For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:  That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.  (Romans 8:  1-9, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Convinced/Convicted? (05/16/2017); The Title of “Savior” (01/27/2017); His Children Are Sanctified (10/12/2016); The Bible and Salvation (09/14/2016); An Habitation of GOD (07/24/2016); Be Ye Therefore Perfect (07/22/2016); Adulterating Scripture? (10/06/2015); All Who Read Convert? (10/10/2014); Not Told in Advance? (10/11/2014)

“Jon Pike”, the language of the Bible is best understood when we acknowledge the context and setting for what is written.  What confuses and surprises those who lack sacred knowledge imparted by the Scriptures is that the setting for the terms used within a text is not only the specific verse (line or phrase) and passage (paragraph) where it is found.  The setting also is within the entire group of verses and passages that appear throughout the entire collection of sacred books (i.e., Genesis to Revelation).  The difficulty of the pattern appearing in 1st Timothy for the use of the adjective “all” also appears with the phrases “all men” and “all Israel.”  In some instances “all” will mean everybody or everyone.  In other instances, “all” is to be applied only on condition (i.e., in accordance with previously mentioned events, operations, etc.).  Thus, a remnant and representative portion fulfills the prophecies for all  Israel; and “all” may mean “people from every class, and at all levels” or “all mankind.”  Mature believers trust that they have made the correct application when the balance, consistency, order, and stability in their ongoing sacred knowledge and practice are affirmed, edified, and reinforced.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  1st Timothy 2:  3-5, King James Version (KJV):  3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;  4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.  5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

(2.)  Mark 1:  35-37, KJV:  35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.  36 And Simon and they that were with him followed after him.  37 And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee.

(3.)  Romans 10:  13-17, KJV:  13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?  15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!  16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?  17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

(4.)  Mark 13:  12-13 KJV:  12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.  13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake:  but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

(5.)  John 12:  31-32, KJV:  31 Now is the judgment of this world:  now shall the prince of this world be cast out.  32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

(6.)  Romans 5:  17-19, KJV:  17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)  18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.  19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (7.)  2nd Thessalonians 3:  1-3, KJV:  3 Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:  2 And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men:  for all men have not faith.  3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

GOD IS ANGRY WITH THE WICKED EVERY DAY

Today, points are shared responding to a comparison of Israel and Judah as “the wicked.”  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Breakthrough” (Level 6 with 16,585 points, a member since June 29, 2013) posted the following:

In the bible do you think that a wicked person could be somebody who operates by false principles and not God’s principles?

For example – somebody who hates poor people – somebody who hates rich people – somebody who hates white people – somebody who hates black people – somebody who hates disabled people – somebody who hates powerful people – somebody who hates children – somebody who hates seniors etc…

A wicked person isn’t always somebody who operates by no principles but somebody who operates by false principles

This is why in the bible God said “faithfless Israel is better than unfaithful Judah.”

the one who operates by no principles is better than the one who operates by false principles

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  The LORD shall judge the people:  judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.  Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just:  for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.  My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.  God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.  (Psalms 7:  8-11, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Fear, Revelation and Desire (05/22/2017); Hell and The Cross? (04/10/2016); Slaves to Sin? (04/13/2015); Gentiles and the Law? (09/19/2013); Law, Slavery and Redemption (09/13/2013); Only One GOD (09/14/2013); Errors of King Solomon? (06/13/2013); Salvation for Atheists? (06/14/2013)

“Breakthrough”, many are not familiar with the “background” important to the comparison made above.  Here are some points you all might find useful:

(1.)  Israel (also called, The Northern Kingdom, Ephraim and Samaria) was  created when rule by the House of David was rejected, and is not the same as Israel (the United Kingdom).  Rehoboam, the Son of Solomon, announced that his policies would be more demanding and oppressive than those of his father, thus, ten tribes abandoned him, and chose to follow Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who had been exiled into Egypt.  Ephraim was taken into captivity by the Assyrians; hundreds of years later, Judah was exiled using the Babylonians.

(2.)  1st Kings 12:  26-31, King James Version (KJV):  26 And Jeroboam said in his heart, Now shall the kingdom return to the house of David:  27 If this people go up to do sacrifice in the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, then shall the heart of this people turn again unto their lord, even unto Rehoboam king of Judah, and they shall kill me, and go again to Rehoboam king of Judah.  28 Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem:  behold thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.  29 And he set the one in Bethel, and the other put he in Dan.  30 And this thing became a sin:  for the people went to worship before the one, even unto Dan.  31 And he made an house of high places, and made priests of the lowest of the people, which were not of the sons of Levi.

(3.)  2nd Kings 17:  22-24, KJV:  22 For the children of Israel walked in all the sins of Jeroboam which he did; they departed not from them;  23 Until the LORD removed Israel out of his sight, as he had said by all his servants the prophets. So was Israel carried away out of their own land to Assyria unto this day.  24 And the king of Assyria brought men from Babylon, and from Cuthah, and from Ava, and from Hamath, and from Sepharvaim, and placed them in the cities of Samaria instead of the children of Israel:  and they possessed Samaria, and dwelt in the cities thereof.

(4.)  Jeremiah 3:  6-8, KJV:  6 The LORD said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot.  7 And I said after she had done all these things, Turn thou unto me. But she returned not. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it.  8 And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.

(5.)  Ezekiel 16:  48-54, KJV:  48 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, Sodom thy sister hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters.  49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.  50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me:  therefore I took them away as I saw good.  51 Neither hath Samaria committed half of thy sins; but thou hast multiplied thine abominations more than they, and hast justified thy sisters in all thine abominations which thou hast done.  52 Thou also, which hast judged thy sisters, bear thine own shame for thy sins that thou hast committed more abominable than they:  they are more righteous than thou:  yea, be thou confounded also, and bear thy shame, in that thou hast justified thy sisters.  53 When I shall bring again their captivity, the captivity of Sodom and her daughters, and the captivity of Samaria and her daughters, then will I bring again the captivity of thy captives in the midst of them:  54 That thou mayest bear thine own shame, and mayest be confounded in all that thou hast done, in that thou art a comfort unto them.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (6.)  Ezekiel 16:  59-63, KJV:  59 For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even deal with thee as thou hast done, which hast despised the oath in breaking the covenant.  60 Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant.  61 Then thou shalt remember thy ways, and be ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder and thy younger:  and I will give them unto thee for daughters, but not by thy covenant.  62 And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD:  63 That thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more because of thy shame, when I am pacified toward thee for all that thou hast done, saith the Lord GOD.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

dallas-holocaust-museum.jpg

Today, points are shared on the sufferings of Israel and the holocaust (Shoah) as being in accordance with the processes of divine salvation, and the terms of perpetual covenant.  While the holocaust continued the full revelation of GOD that is making known the makeup and process of divinity, the Shoah also has exposed the operations of sin, and mankind’s fallen nature without the endowments of imparted spirit through the ministry of Jesus Christ.  For Christian believers, the holocaust can not be completely and correctly understood relying upon academic studies of cultural history, European politics, and other disciplines for secular knowledge.  Affliction, prosperity, suffering and war displayed among the Jews must be viewed in the context of the sanctions of divine law, and the present terms for covenant relationship with GOD.  Therefore, the holocaust must be acknowledged as a peculiar episode within a lawful relationship between the Creator, who also is Judge, and the created.  Believers are to discern the active presence who is GOD by the appearance of his faithfulness, integrity, and righteousness; and are to apprehend sacred oneness without sameness in the suffering and death of Jesus on the cross.  The fighter at “Yahoo! 7 Answers (Australia)” using the ID “Kodiak” (Level 1 with 61 points, a member since June 18, 2016) posted the following:

Christianity: What was God doing/thinking when the holocaust was happening right before his eyes?

If I were God, I would have prevented it from happening.
What excuses Christians are going to provide for God’s negligence ?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  The wrath of God came upon them, and slew the fattest of them, and smote down the chosen men of Israel.  For all this they sinned still, and believed not for his wondrous works.  Therefore their days did he consume in vanity, and their years in trouble.  When he slew them, then they sought him:  and they returned and enquired early after God.  And they remembered that God was their rock, and the high God their redeemer.  Nevertheless they did flatter him with their mouth, and they lied unto him with their tongues.  For their heart was not right with him, neither were they stedfast in his covenant.  But he, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, and destroyed them not:  yea, many a time turned he his anger away, and did not stir up all his wrath.  For he remembered that they were but flesh; a wind that passeth away, and cometh not again.  (Psalm 78:  31-39, King James Version (KJV)

“Kodiak”, Christian believers who are grounded in sacred knowledge and practice agree that during the holocaust GOD was active and present acknowledging immutable promises and divine utterances, continuing covenant, executing judgment, performing prophecy, and further revealing the character and makeup of both divinity and mankind.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Leviticus 26:  40-46, King James Version (KJV):  40 If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;  41 And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:  42 Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.  43 The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them:  and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity:  because, even because they despised my judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes.  44 And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them:  for I am the LORD their God.  45 But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God:  I am the LORD.  46 These are the statutes and judgments and laws, which the LORD made between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.

(2.)  Ezekiel 16:  59-63, KJV:  59 For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even deal with thee as thou hast done, which hast despised the oath in breaking the covenant. 62 And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD:  63 That thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more because of thy shame, when I am pacified toward thee for all that thou hast done, saith the Lord GOD.

(3.)  Psalm 89:  29-37, KJV:  29 His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.  30 If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;  31 If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;  32 Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.  33 Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.  34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.  35 Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.  36 His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me.  37 It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.

There is much more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.) Jeremiah 31:  31-37, KJV:  31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:  32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:  33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.  34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD:  for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD:  for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.  35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:  36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.  37 Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, points are shared on the account in Scripture of Jesus cursing a barren fig tree.  In addition to the operations of divine authority, faith, and sovereign will, the account speaks to false appearances and deception, the readiness of Israel to receive the Messiah at his Advent, the completeness and finality of coming judgment, sin as failure to respond to divine will, and the character of obedience as a demand upon all that exists, not merely all the living.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Why did the Fig Tree choose to disobey Jesus’ orders? Didn’t the Tree know that Jesus is the son of God?

Trees are not like us; they have no free will to disobey. This tree had no right and deserved the LORD’s punishment.

I believe in this you guys?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.  Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?  Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;  When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?  Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?  When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it,  And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors,  And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further:  and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?  Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;  That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?  (Job 38:  4-13, King James Version, KJV)

“Violation Nation!!”, there are many points of instruction through the account of the barren fig tree.  Christian believers often acknowledge the account of Jesus cursing the fig tree as being a spiritual object lesson and parable that focuses on Israel’s rejection of Jesus as the one sent to reign as Christ and Messiah.  At the time of the Savior’s birth, multiple prophets and kings already had been sent to prepare the nation as GOD’s covenant partner and instrument to establish a divine ruler on the earth at his coming.  In the incident, Jesus was on his way to the temple, was hungry, and approached the fig tree seeing it from a distance as healthy and sound.  The fig tree appeared abundant and full, yet was barren.  Even so, his expectation of being fed was not grounded in “natural law” and the flesh so much as in his authority as the Son of GOD, the maker and owner of the fig tree, who was requiring there be a response to his sovereign will.  Also, Jesus is the Son of Man correcting the response of the pair in Eden, who were deceived and misled regarding a tree and its fruit.  The recognition of Christ was to be on the basis of containing aspects of the Savior’s inborn Spirit.  Thus, Satan appeared, yet, did not recognize Christ upon the earth as the Son who commanded in heaven, and even offered Jesus an earthly kingdom as a reward for worship.  While the operations of sin see the domination of awareness and self-will in created beings and living creatures, sin is a condition and an effect that goes beyond iniquity and willful disobedience.  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law (i.e., the will of GOD expressed), GOD as the Law Giver, and all Creation that relies on sacred law for divine order.  The fig tree may have had no self-awareness and personal power as an angel or a man, yet, was no less to respond to preeminent divinity.  Sin corrupts (i.e., introduces decay, rot, uncleanness), makes unfit to serve GOD, and removes spiritual purity.  Thus, judgment and the flood of Noah came against the entire earth, not just the people on it; and a final judgment will be followed by the establishment of a new heaven and earth.

There is far more to be said, understood, and spiritually apprehended.  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, the divine covenants that have embraced Israel and America as beloved of GOD are in view.  As with judgment, the keeping of covenant and the fulfillment of promise and prophecy pertain more to the revealed righteousness of GOD than to the character, makeup, and substance of created beings and living creatures.  Even the holy angels are not “irreplaceable”, and those who lost their 1st estate will be replaced by those gathered from among mankind who belong to Jesus Christ.  Thus, it is the promise of GOD given to the fathers, the atoning ministry by the Son of the Highest, and the operations of the Holy Spirit that are “irreplaceable”, not the nations of men.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Political Commentator” (Level 1 with 2 points, a member since December 03, 2015) posted the following:

Do you realize that Israel is not America, and America is not Israel?

That Israel was the ONLY Jewish nation state in 1st century Galilee, and thereby IRREPLACEABLE?

But America is not the ONLY Christian nation in the Western world at the End Times, and thereby EXPENDABLE from the perspective of God’s plan of salvation?

That America =/= Israel,

because history doesn’t always repeat itself?

That 1st century Galilee =/= America at the End Times,

because 1st century Galilee = All of Christendom at the End Times?

That America is thereby Expendable – although Israel is Irreplaceable?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:  And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,  Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?  As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.  And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.  Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:  For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness:  because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.  And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha.  What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.  But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.  Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;  (Romans 9:  22-32, King James Version, KJV)

“Political Commentator”, the focus of divine covenants have  not been upon possessing livestock, slaves, or geographical territory.  Faith and the imparted, indwelling Spirit of GOD are at the core of true covenant.  Thus, by faith, Abraham acknowledged the promises of GOD before being circumcised, also, by faith, Moses experienced the burning bush before being circumcised.  Those who lack the “sacred knowledge” provided in the holy writings always mistakenly think that the status of Israel as a nation favored by divinity has been on the basis of their ethnic identity as Hebrews, their accomplishments as conquerors in the land of Canaan, or their ability to maintain family connection as kings, rulers, and tribes.  Similarly, those in error think the status of America as a “nation under God” is on the basis of political franchise and Constitutional law (we say, civic privileges and rights), per capita wealth, and the number of church buildings and communities of faith that are found here.  Those we call the Jews and followers of Jesus Christ throughout the world have been embraced by GOD as the offspring of Deity and citizens of a divinely established kingdom.  There have been multiple acts of grace and sovereign prerogative following events that required thousands of years.  Together they have carried out and continue to fulfill divine proclamations, sacred promises, prophecy, and eternal purposes.  Those in covenant relationship with GOD are being blessed, not on the basis of their own deeds and merit, so much as by being beneficiaries and heirs to Patriarchs, Deliverers (we say, Judges), prophets, and temporal rulers (e.g., kings, emperors, and others).  In the same way, Israel was selected to execute judgment and replace the seven tribes in the Promised Land who broke covenant with GOD, the kingdom of GOD through Christ has been established for judgment, the spread of Christian belief, and preparation of the earth for harvest at the coming of the Lord.  Consider again the following:

(1.)   Psalms 105:  8-15, King James Version (KJV):  8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.  9 Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;  10 And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:  11 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:  12 When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.  13 When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;  14 He suffered no man to do them wrong:  yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;  15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

(2.)  Jeremiah 31:  31-33, KJV:  31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:  32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:  33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Acts 2:  14-21, KJV:  14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:  15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.  16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;  17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh:  and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:  18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:  19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke:  20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:  21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
