Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:  they shall prosper that love thee.  (Psalms 122:  6, King James Version, KJV)

Today, reply is made on the ongoing divine covenant with Israel, and the condemnation of Israel as “anti-Christ”.  A writer at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “James 1:1” (Level 2 with 478 points, a member since November 27, 2014) posted the following:

Should Christians kiss up to Zionism?

The vast majority of Zionist Jews not only hate Jesus Christ, but oppose everything He stands for. Are the naive Christians who support this element aiding and abetting the anti-Christ? (1 John 2:18, 22, 4:3; and 2 John v. 7-11 identify “anti-Christ/anti-Christs” as any and all who deny that Jesus is the Messiah, i.e., those who deny and confess not that Messiah is—“come in the flesh.”)

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.  For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;  Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;  And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:  And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.  For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.  Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;  And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;  In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:  In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.  (Ephesians 2:  14-22, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Differences Among Sacred Events (04/10/2017); An Irreplaceable Nation State? (12/05/2016); The Cross and Judaism? (05/27/2016); The Cross Broke Every Curse? (02/25/2016); The Remnant? (10/12/2015); Malachi (01/02/2015); Holy Ground (03/30/2014); The Storm-battered City? (03/29/2014)

“James 1:1”, here are some points that also must be considered:

(1.)  A curse broken by forgiveness and atonement from the cross, yet not repented of?  Matthew 27:  24-26, King James Version (KJV):  24 When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person:  see ye to it.  25 Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.  26 Then released he Barabbas unto them:  and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.

(2.)  Divine law and promise may be executed and fulfilled through a remnant (we also say, the elect, those called).  Romans 11:  2-8, KJV:  2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel saying,  3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.  4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.  5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.  6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works:  otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace:  otherwise work is no more work.  7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.  8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

2nd Kings 19:  30-31, KJV:  30 And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall yet again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.  31 For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion:  the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.

Joel 2:  31-32, KJV:  31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.  32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered:  for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

(3.)  The process of GOD through Jesus Christ is one of multiple ministries performed by an eternal High Priest and includes works that address atonement, covenant-keeping, forgiveness, mercy, revelation, prophecy, sacrifice, rebirth, and reconciliation.  Micah 7:  18-20, KJV:  18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.  19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.  20 Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

John 6:  63-65, KJV:  63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing:  the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.  64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.  65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Through operations of the Spirit of GOD, those in Christ are the “new creation.”  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Colossians 3:  9-14, KJV:  9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;  10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:  11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free:  but Christ is all, and in all.  12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;  13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any:  even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.  14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

Malachi 3:  13-18, KJV:  13 Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?  14 Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?  15 And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.  16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another:  and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.  17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.  18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

As Holy Week goes forward, reply is made on the kingdom of GOD and the new creation.  Even small children understood that something special from GOD was being shared, and they startled the elders who wanted to quiet and silence their shouts of “Hosanna” and their rejoicing inside the Temple.  Rather than as a king over a kingdom having an agenda of commandments, statutes, taxes and war, Jesus Christ came as a High Priest and spiritual ruler having an agenda of atonement, forgiveness, renewed hope, sacrifice, suffering, and death on the cross.  Thus, Christian believers are to operate as ambassadors, emissaries, and lawful representatives dispatched to earth from a divine “spirit Nation” ruled by a Risen Lord, and intended to establish among men the oneness without sameness within the GODhead.  The system of belief that Christians share with Judaism brings together multiple doctrines, practices, and teachings that first were committed to mankind through Adam and his sons who were heirs of a holy priesthood, that later were ordained and preserved through the covenant of Moses, and following that were demonstrated in the life and work of Jesus on a day-to-day basis.  One of the many fighters at “Yahoo! Answers (UK & Ireland)” using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

Does it make any sense to you that Jesus (your Lord and Savior) didn’t even believe in Christianity?

Jesus was Jewish. If Jesus didn’t believe in Christianity and you try to live your lives like him why aren’t you all Jewish.
I personally don’t believe in any religion. I think there might be a God, but I don’t think any religions are right. I’m an agnostic theist.

I’m not saying your religion is wrong. I’m just saying that it doesn’t make sense to me. And would like to hear your opinion.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:  old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.  And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;  To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.  Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us:  we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.  For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.  (2nd Corinthians 5:  17-21, King James Version, KJV)

“Anonymous”, Jesus put on no display of pomp and circumstance, yet, he entered Jerusalem riding a white mule as son of a king.  When Jesus arrived at the Temple in Jerusalem in the final days of his living ministry on the earth the Savior was proclaiming a new testament and new covenant relationship with GOD through his own blood and body.  What had begun as a “grass roots” revival to refresh and renew practices and promises that had existed among the Jews for millennia became concentrated and crystallized as a divine process to transform mankind into a new creation.  Jesus highlighted what should have been familiar doctrines and performed prophetic demonstrations to reveal divinity as the active presence who was carrying out various sacred events (e.g., exorcism, healings, miracles).

Because thousands were in the City to observe an annual feast, there was a crowd to welcome Jesus that had come from every city, region and town made up of the many who already had received godly benefits from following and hearing the Lord.  While Jesus was openly hailed as the “son of David” and one having a legitimate claim to the throne of unified kingdom granted King David by a promise of dynasty from GOD, Jesus discouraged all efforts to portray him as a social activist, a leader of insurrection and rebellion against Rome, a discontented political figure, or a zealot.

The Savior aroused his critics most as he taught that GOD is a spirit, and that by gifts and operations of spirit substance from the makeup of divinity, mankind would receive atonement for sin and become endowed with eternal life to exist as an immortal, incorruptible companion of GOD.  The Sadducees who were the ruling faction among the priests, Levites, and judges making up the Sanhedrin court insisted upon the covenant of Moses with its proclamations of social identity through divine law, and discouraged the full inheritance of prophetic truth that included GOD operating from within “angels”, “spirits” and spokespersons (e.g., patriarchs, judges, prophets, pastors, apostles).

The ministry of Jesus had to grow and increase in accordance with his development as a man in flesh undergoing spiritual growth administered and controlled by the Father in heaven.  For this reason, the gospel (good news) that was preached goes from “repent and be baptized,” “there is atonement for sin,” and “the kingdom is at hand” to “he is risen” and “he will come again.”  There is the proclamation of both a new kingdom and a new creation.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  Isaiah 42:  1-4, King James Version (KJV):  1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him:  he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.  2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.  3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench:  he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.  4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth:  and the isles shall wait for his law.

(2.)  John 6:  11-15, KJV:  11 And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.  12 When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.  13 Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.  14 Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.  15 When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.

(3.)  John 18:  33-38, KJV:  33 Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews?  34 Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me?  35 Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me:  what hast thou done?  36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world:  if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews:  but now is my kingdom not from hence.  37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.  38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  2nd Peter 1:  16-21, KJV:  16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.  17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.  18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.  19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:  20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.  21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man:  but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

As Holy Week continues, reply is to a question on discernment and realizing the presence of divinity.  For Christian believers, sacred knowledge and knowing result only from the spirit content imparted by GOD, rather than from secular knowledge and such features of the flesh as appetite, emotion, intellect, carnal reasoning, and the senses (seeing, tasting, touching, etc.).  By operations of faith, holiness, longsuffering and other substance from the makeup of GOD, Christian believers are made certain that Jesus Christ has appeared from heaven to reveal and make Deity known on the earth.  With this in view, the response, today, is in accordance with the holy writings:  John 14:  1-7, King James Version (KJV):  1 Let not your heart be troubled:  ye believe in God, believe also in me.  2 In my Father’s house are many mansions:  if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.  4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.  5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?  6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:  no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.  7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also:  and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.  Also, Matthew 20:  27-28, KJV:  27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:  28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.  The fighter at “Yahoo! How would you know if God was standing before you?

How would you identify god and be sure it wasn’t a superior being that seemed like a god, like an alien, demon, devil, or some other thing you’ve never even considered exists?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him:  On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him:  he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him:  But he knoweth the way that I take:  when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.  (Job 23:  8-10, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Benefits of His Kingdom? (04/11/2017); Hosanna In The Highest (04/09/2017); Genuine Spiritual Discernment? (03/27/2017); How Would We Understand? (03/17/2017); Divine Presence and Spirit (01/18/2017); How To Know GOD? (12/12/2016); Knowing GOD For Yourself (07/13/2016)

“Anni” divine spirit must be known through faith.  Thus, it is the faith of mature Christian believers that GOD is a spirit who must be recognized and responded to as an active presence on the basis of his operating in, through, and upon living creatures, physical objects, and the various standards for meaning and value (e.g., authority, duration, ownership).  Those who gathered (on what we call “Palm Sunday”) at the Temple in Jerusalem for the Feast of Tabernacles were from every town and city of Israel.  Many already had been healed, released from unclean spirits, and otherwise profoundly touched by the ministry and miracles of Jesus Christ that even included raising the dead.  Together, their experience, sacred knowledge from the Scriptures, and operations by the Spirit of GOD allowed them to discern (i.e., use ones own spirit substance from the makeup of GOD to realize the character, nature, and origin of the spirit content residing in events, oneself, other persons, holy writings, etc.) a sacred event in the Advent (coming) of Jesus.  The Bible provides a divine point of view (so to speak) and reports the operations of GOD using thousands of events, from thousands of lives, over the course of thousands of years.  In the same way knowing the pattern ABCDEFG allows us to know that X,Y,Z are coming and 12345 says 8,9,10 are coming, believers in Christ do not gain power to read minds or foretell the future:  They have awareness of specific patterns from divinity that are made visible through the commandments of GOD, the holy writings, and the appearance of divinity using flesh and blood as Jesus of Nazareth.  When those at the Temple had examined the ministry of Jesus Christ, they became certain they should welcome him as the heir to the throne of King David, the Prophet foretold by Moses in the holy writings, and a miracle worker.  Some even welcomed him as the One sent from GOD, the divine ruler of the “everlasting kingdom” (Messiah), and an High Priest after the order of Melchisedec who would make atonement for the sin of Israel and all mankind.  Through his death on the cross that would occur before the week was completed, the ministry of Christ would  establish access for mankind to a fresh endowment of spirit content from the makeup of GOD.  Those receiving rebirth now become the offspring and heirs of GOD who are to continuously display inseparable deposits from the Father and Son such as faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, meekness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  Romans 10:  13-17, King James Version (KJV):  13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?  15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!  16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?  17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

(2.)  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  1st Peter 2:  21-25, KJV:  21 For even hereunto were ye called:  because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:  22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:  23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:  24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness:  by whose stripes ye were healed.  25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Continuing to observe Holy Week, reply is made on the benefits of government through sacred law and consecrated rulers.  The fighter at “Yahoo! 7 Answers (Australia)” using the ID “Dawn” (Level 7 with 37,655 points, a member since April 25, 2014) posted the following:

How will the kingdom of God solve world’s problems?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.  And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,  Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.  And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.  And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament:  and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.  (Revelation 11:  15-19, King James Version, KJV)

“Dawn”, many mature Christians understand that government among created beings and living creatures must focus on completing operations of the spirit substance deposited from the makeup of GOD (we say, breath, life essence, spirit, word) that go beyond the sharing of authority and financial, human, or natural resources.  Correctly understood, the “kingdom of GOD” is a sphere of life intended to fulfill multiple eternal purposes that pertain to the makeup and substance of divinity.  GOD may be thought of as the fullness of inseparable spirit content that interacts in continuous active process.  Included are exchanges among faith, forgiveness, holiness, hope, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  The sovereignty of GOD who is Creator and Maker of all that exists is revealed and made “visible” through divine law as well as through an Incarnate ruler (we say, king having flesh and blood).

When Jesus entered into the city of Jerusalem on what we now call “Palm Sunday,” many received him as the anointed  ruler (we say, Christ) and divine spokesperson (prophet) promised within the holy writings (i.e., Messiah).  Some among those assembled already had received benefits from his ministry on earth that focused on the operations of GOD as Spirit, yet, it was commonly thought there would now be political change:  GOD would restore the Promised Land to the Jews; the Greeks, Romans, and other foreign occupiers would be removed; and there would be a new “golden age” of prosperity.  Many had been healed from forms of blindness, paralysis and sickness, had been released from unclean spirits, and had participated in public miracles of feeding, judgment, and raising the dead.  On the strength of such experiences, key persons in the multitude pressed Jesus to accept the crown as king, and as High Priest of the Temple—acts that would require bloodshed, conquest, and war, rather than a ministry of atonement and salvation.

When understood as a sacred event after the pattern of things in the heaven, the Lord’s “triumphal” entry into Jerusalem celebrates his victory over sin, sorrow (earlier, Jesus wept upon seeing the city), suffering, and death.  The procession provided “an image” depicting such divine operations as the reception in heaven for repentant sinners as the offspring and heirs of GOD; the acknowledgment of Jesus in heaven following his death, burial, resurrection, and ascension from the earth; the return of Jesus as High Priest to administer atonement and cleanse the Sanctuary within the Temple of heaven as well as the coronation of Jesus to sit upon the Throne of Glory.  Consider again the following points from the Scriptures:

(1.)  James 4:  1-4, King James Version (KJV):   1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?  2 Ye lust, and have not:  ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.  3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.  4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

(2.)  Acts 2:  1-4, KJV:  1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.  2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.  3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.  4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

(3.)  1st Corinthians 4:  20, KJV:  20 For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  John 18:  33-38, KJV:  33 Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, the triumph of Christ entering Jerusalem, the fulfillment of divine promises, and the beginning of Holy Week are topics.  Jesus coming to the Temple was in accordance with the pattern of things in heaven.  Jesus already had visited Jerusalem and the Temple for many of the feast days commanded through Moses.  Since his baptism at the Jordan River and consecration by the Spirit of GOD, Jesus also had preached to many crowds, and performed many exorcisms, healings, and miracles.  In what would be the final days during his ministry on the earth, there were still many unanswered questions regarding the sacred identity for Jesus of Nazareth:  was he a true prophet in the historical tradition that GOD had ended 400 years before with Malachi? was Jesus the true heir to the throne of David? and was he the anointed ruler that Moses proclaimed would come?  Among the multitude that gathered and cast palm branches before him to carpet his way, there were many eyewitnesses and recipients of his anointed ministry from various cities and towns for whom there no longer was any controversy.  Their response was to willingly rejoice, and to praise glorifying GOD.  Only Jesus himself was certain the week would end with his death on the cross.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And as they were eating [their meal commanded by Moses to celebrate Passover], Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.  And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;  For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.  (Matthew 26:  26-28, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Restoring the Divine Presence? (03/09/2017); Divine Meanings and Values? (03/31/2016); Sacred Events Were Dismissed? (11/05/2015); Messiah and the Unthinkable? (09/25/2015); The Lamb of GOD (08/19/2015); Palm Sunday (04/14/2014); Self-control and Law (04/15/2014)

The entry of Jesus into Jerusalem was a nonverbal event (we say, actions, a prophetic demonstration, a sign, works) to confirm the fulfillment of longstanding promises and prophesies from GOD.  Included were establishment of an everlasting kingdom (i.e., the government of GOD, rather than another earthly political domain), a new covenant relationship for Israel and all mankind as well as the provision of atonement, a new High Priest, and the new testament in the blood of Jesus.  While many in the crowd that greeted Jesus also hailed him as their king, the King of Judea (the King of the Jews), Jesus had carefully avoided becoming known as a political figure.  Consider again the following points from the holy writings:

(1.)  2nd Chronicles 13:  5, King James Version (KJV):  5 Ought ye not to know that the LORD God of Israel gave the kingdom over Israel to David for ever, even to him and to his sons by a covenant of salt?

(2.)  Isaiah 9:  6-8, KJV:  6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:  and the government shall be upon his shoulder:  and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.  7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.  8 The LORD sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel.

(3.)  Jeremiah 31:  31-33, KJV:  31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:  32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:  33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

(4.)  Hebrews 7:  11-16, KJV:  11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?  12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.  13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.  14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.  15 And it is yet far more evident:  for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,  16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.

(5.)  Hebrews 7:  21-26, KJV:  21 (For those priests [the line of Aaron] were made without an oath [a pledge from GOD]; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)  22 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.  23 And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:  24 But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.  25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.  26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

(6.)  Hebrews 9:  11-16, KJV:  11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;  12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.  13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:  14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?  15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (7.)  Hebrews 12:  22-25, KJV:  22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,  23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,  24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.  25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
