Jesus Mary Joseph Teach us to share the pain. Turgis

Today, reply is on the faith, works, and embodiment of divinity that was displayed through the human pair sanctified to serve as the parents of Jesus Christ. What believers should expect from the sacred pair, Mary and Joseph, is very much the same as the events and expressions shared by other sacred pairs throughout the holy writings that share in the revelation of Jesus Christ. Adam and Eve, Abraham and Sarah, Elizabeth and Zacharias, Anna and Simeon all display the patterns of childbearing as a sacred event and an important element of prophetic demonstration for those serving as spokespersons (prophets) of GOD. These divine parental figures appear as “earthen vessels” who are imperfect and who lack full sacred knowledge, yet, are filled with consecrated treasure. Thus, keeping in mind that the birth of Jesus was at a time before the outpouring of the Holy Spirit when Jerusalem meant the law, the covenant of Moses, the Temple, and tradition, Mary and Joseph were ignorant and short sighted, yet, fed and nourished the Spirit within Jesus sharing their own blood, sweat, tears, and sacred substance. It is written: Luke 2: 40-45, King James Version (KJV): 40 And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him. 41 Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover. 42 And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast. 43 And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it. 44 But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a days journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance. 45 And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him. Wouldn’t we expect Mary and Joseph..?

to be highly involved with sharing their sons’s holy status? Instead, we don’t hear anything mentioned about Mary and Joseph spreading the good news all his life, and Jesus leaves town to go do the miracles.. if Mary and Joseph knew he was so holy and special, wouldn’t they be exclaiming that and following him their entire lives?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers. And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business? And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them. And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart. And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. (Luke 2: 46-52, King James Version, KJV)

Godless Goddess”, here are some points for developing Christian believers to prayerfully consider regarding the accountability, faithfulness, and service as holy prophets that was demonstrated by Mary and Joseph as the earthly caretakers of Jesus Christ:

1. An overabundance of divine presence, foreknowledge, sacred mystery, and revelation to the sacred pair would have blemished the presentation of authentic humanity that the Word was sent to demonstrate on the earth. In addition to sharing limitations through the frameworks of time and space, they all were subject to the finite elements of flesh such as aging, fatigue, lack of information, physical pain, and the inheritance of mortality as the lawful consequence from the sin of the first pair, Adam. Matthew 20: 22-23, King James Version (KJV): 22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able. 23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.

2. Guiding, nourishing and protecting the holy child, the sacred pair endured the same fear, hardship, mental anguish, and uncertainties that came upon him, yet, did not operate having the same anointing, sacred opportunities, eternal purpose, and focused possibilities. Childbearing, parenting, and fulfillment of covenant duty are contrasted against redemption, salvation, and provision of a new testament in his blood. Luke 8: 34-38, KJV: 34 And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against; 35 (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed. 36 And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity; 37 And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day. 38 And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. Chosen to be a sanctified vessel for divinity using flesh and human form (we say, Incarnation), the mother of Jesus, Mary, would demonstrate release from the law through death by having new life as the widow of Joseph. Mary also would be an eyewitness to the death of Jesus on the cross; be among the first to acknowledge and proclaim the resurrection of Christ; and, with the brothers and sisters of Jesus, be among those disciples and apostles who tarried together in the upper room waiting to receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit that were poured out on the day of Pentecost. Continuing as a vessel for the Godhead, Mary was among the first to become a new creation and serve also as a vessel for the Holy Spirit. Acts 2: 16-21, KJV: 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: 19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come: 21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Samuel Dedicated by Hannah at the Temple by Frank W.W. Topham

Hannah Childless, But Her Prayer Answered

Frank William Warwick Topham (1838-1924)

Today, the reply addresses sinners coming to GOD on the basis of their acknowledgment of active presence and divine spirit substance, rather than through surrender because of the flesh and conditions that are carnal, material, and social. Despite being raised in the idolatry and spiritual confusion within Egypt and the household of Pharaoh, Moses had an inheritance from GOD through Levi. When GOD spoke to him from a burning bush that Moses had only stopped to examine from curiosity, Moses prostrated himself immediately. Job was challenged and tested by Satan, who did not appear to Job using a visible figure. Multiple disasters were heaped on him, and Job openly complained against divine injustice. Finally, GOD appeared and spoke to Job requiring that he minister to others who were not members of his own family and household. The acknowledgment of Job is seen in that he repented immediately, not that he surrendered. The writer at “Yahoo! Answers” in the Religion and Spirituality forum using the ID “Nami” (Level 3 with 1,128 points, a member since May 06, 2014) posted the following:

Surrendering to God?

Simple question. Do you think God will let a situation get so bad due to the unknown that it forces you to do nothing else but to surrender it to him?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. (John 20: 24-29, King James Version, KJV)

Nami”, divinity offers salvation using fixed methods and operations, yet, salvation is never coerced or forced on anyone. Among Christians, the answer to your question that is to be shared with sinners who become “developing believers” is not simple, for it pertains to divine prerogative; eternal purpose; sacred inheritance and ones participation in existing covenant relationships; and the sovereign will of divinity. The conditions and events endured by those within the household of faith are to be accounted as benefits, edification, and privilege. Thus, different examples may be taken from the holy writings that report incidents from the lives of the prophets. Joseph, who became second in command to Pharaoh of Egypt, and Samuel, who was consecrated and served the High Priest and his sons within the tabernacle even though he was not from the tribe of Levi, never wavered from their sacred visions, and their early experiences of GOD that were granted to them as children. Where Samuel grew up on holy ground, Joseph endured Egypt that represents spiritual confusion. The prophet Jonah was commanded to go and preach repentance to heathens and Gentiles in Nineveh (the capitol city of the Assyrians). He tried to escape the duty by taking ship to Tarshish; and was cast into the sea during a great storm. Jonah was swallowed up by a great fish that had been prepared and sent by GOD. Buried alive within the fish, Jonah prayed prayers of repentance, and was heard. Even so, when the city repented with prayer and fasting, Jonah became angry against GOD for displaying mercy in judgment, rather than punishing them with destruction. There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. For example, when Jacob fled for his life from the home of his father Isaac, the son and heir of Abraham, through deception Jacob had received the sacred blessing for the firstborn. Even so, Jacob knew GOD only as “the GOD of my fathers.” During sleep, he received a sacred vision of angels on a ladder from earth to heaven that filled him with awe and terror. Because he did not understand that his inheritance was one of priesthood, Jacob sought to bargain with GOD. Jacob offered to regard GOD as his own divinity on condition that GOD would protect and prosper him—he also offered to pay and share with GOD a tenth of whatever he might accumulate by all his travels. Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Focus, today, is upon the language appearing throughout the holy writings that describes the people of GOD as “sheep”.  To be labeled as sheep or servants of GOD in the Bible is by no means intended as condemnation or insult; and the ownership by GOD of mankind and all Creation are to be proclaimed as are his majesty and sovereignty.  With the divine response to the fall of Adam, sheep became inseparable from salvation through provisions for atonement, expiation, and remission of sins by using blood from offerings and sacrifices; by GOD introducing inheritance among mankind that includes duty, priesthood, prophecy, and sacred knowledge as well as by Deity bestowing divine gifts upon those who continually display humility, love, meekness, obedience, and zeal.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Theists and atheists, is there a problem with people happily considering themselves to be ‘sheep’? Why or why not?

Update: Of course I mean in the proverbial, figurative sense, not the literal sense

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord GOD.  I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick:  but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.  And as for you, O my flock, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats.  Seemeth it a small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but ye must tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures? and to have drunk of the deep waters, but ye must foul the residue with your feet?  And as for my flock, they eat that which ye have trodden with your feet; and they drink that which ye have fouled with your feet.  Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle.  Because ye have thrust with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your horns, till ye have scattered them abroad;  Therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle.  And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.  And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it.  (Ezekiel 34:  15-24, King James Version, KJV)

“Hercules”, for most mature Christian believers being called “sheep” who belong to “the Good Shepherd” is thought of as a high privilege.  Keep in mind that during their more than 400-year sojourn among the Egyptians, Joseph and his brothers as Hebrews, and the house of Jacob were set apart as much by their despised occupation as keepers of livestock as by their ethnicity and family ties.  The bias, discrimination, exaggerated pride, and prejudice shown by the Egyptians further set Jacob apart as sanctified to GOD, and served as a shield and wall separating his people in a place of widespread spiritual confusion.  Because the inborn instinct within sheep makes them congregate and group together with quietness and simplicity, large flocks of sheep may be managed with relatively little manpower.  While rams within a flock will dominate all the others, sheep also are capable of distinguishing the individual humans who regularly come among them, and respond as if in a personal relationship (i.e., like pets).  Of all living creatures, a lamb was chosen to bear the wrath of GOD against the first pair (Adam and Eve); and the sentence of death required by divine law was brought against a docile and harmless substitute (we say, “an innocent”).  With this in view, the same Good Shepherd, is also the Lamb of GOD whose blood and body are provided for atonement and propitiation of sin.  Consider how some of this is stated using language from the Bible:

(1.)  Genesis 3:  21-24, King James Version (KJV):  21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.  22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil:  and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:  23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.  24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

(2.)  Genesis 46:  31-34, KJV:  31 And Joseph said unto his brethren, and unto his father’s house, I will go up, and shew Pharaoh, and say unto him, My brethren, and my father’s house, which were in the land of Canaan, are come unto me;  32 And the men are shepherds, for their trade hath been to feed cattle; and they have brought their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have.  33 And it shall come to pass, when Pharaoh shall call you, and shall say, What is your occupation?  34 That ye shall say, Thy servants’ trade hath been about cattle from our youth even until now, both we, and also our fathers:  that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd is an abomination unto the Egyptians.

(3.)  Ezekiel 34:  30-31, KJV:  30 Thus shall they know that I the LORD their God am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, saith the Lord GOD.  31 And ye my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord GOD.

(4.)  John 1:  29-34, KJV:  29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.  30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me:  for he was before me.  31 And I knew him not:  but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.  32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.  33 And I knew him not:  but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.  34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

(5.)  John 10:  11-16, KJV:  11 I am the good shepherd:  the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.  12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth:  and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.  13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.  14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.  15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father:  and I lay down my life for the sheep.  16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold:  them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

There is far more to be said, carefully examined, and spiritually understood.  (For example, (6.)  1st Peter 5:  2-4, KJV:  2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;  3 Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being examples to the flock.  4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

I was watching shows with my younger cousin and I realized between VeggieTales and Joseph: King of Dreams, that the two stories are almost identical. Guy understands dreams, king is happy, things get ****** up, happy ending. Are these two seperate religions? Or both Christianity? What’s the point of the same story being retold twice?

THE BATTLE AXE:  Family and Beliefs of Children? (08/28/2014)—(5.)  Parents are not brainwashing or coercing their children because they introduce the ABC’s, reading, and spelling.  Neither are parents enslaving their child by sharing the Bible, church attendance, and unselfish service.  All children taught the alphabet do not go on to learn reading and writing.  Many choose to become defiant, rebellious, and do not learn in classroom settings and schools.  It remains that caretakers and parents can not teach faith.  Faith is an aspect of divine makeup along with other inseparable spirit content that must be provided by operations from GOD.  Included are forgiveness, holiness, joy, longsuffering, love, truthfulness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Parents may create, identify, and set up opportunities for their children; provide examples and models; clarify sacred knowledge; or acknowledge, encourage and praise efforts of their children to learn and conform to sacred standards.  The home must prepare children for growth and participation within the church; and experience within the two social settings must complete and reinforce the sacred content and process of one another.  See again Genesis 18:  19, Ezra 9:  1-3, Malachi 2:  11-17, Malachi 3:  14-18 and Malachi 4:  5-6, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them:  because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.  They are of the world:  therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.  We are of God:  he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us.  Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.  Beloved, let us love one another:  for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.  He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.  (1st John 4:  4-8, KJV)

“Brittany”, here are a few points on Christian belief that you might find helpful:

(1.)  The ancient writings collected together as the Bible are a record of cosmic and human events that display the active presence of GOD through thousands of lives, over thousands of years (we say, a divine perspective).

(2.)  GOD is a spirit who has put forth all existence.  The language throughout the Scriptures comes from finite carnal, material and social relationships among created beings and living creatures, yet, is intended to describe and reveal divinity that is totally spirit in makeup and substance.  We say GOD is immutable and unchanging, given that he repeatedly uses specific devices and divine operations (e.g., covenant, law, dreams, healing, prophecy, suffering, raising the dead) to make known and reveal divinity to the living.

(3.)  Depictions and portrayals of the Bible shown in animations, TV programs, and movies (e.g., Noah, The Passion, The Ten Commandments) often are adaptations where the text has been altered responding to varying limitations.  The sacred quality of the Scriptures may be totally ignored in the effort to produce something dramatic, simple, sensational, and sexually engaging.  Profane and non-spiritual elements will appear when, in their efforts to be professional, directors and producers make no requirement of belief and commitment for those who are asked to carry out their projects.  Oversimplification and other spiritual errors will be common because of aesthetic, artistic, and budgeting concerns as well as on the basis of the godliness, insight, understanding, and quality of skill and talent among actors, illustrators, and technical staff.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example (4.)  Through baptism (death of ones inborn spirit, rebirth having divine DNA, so to speak), believers are equipped to correctly understand and value the aspects of divinity that have been revealed.  Just like a blind man may be willing, and want to see, yet, is not equipped, so believers can not “see” without an experience of rebirth.  Born again, believers gradually “grow up” again by acquiring sacred knowledge, continuing sacred practices, overcoming life challenges, and participating in fellowship with other believers.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Whether atheists may go to heaven or not is considered, today, along with more on the errors of King Solomon.  A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using ID “Jose” (Level 2 with 283 points, a member since July 12, 2012) posted the following:

Do you agree with the pope on saying that athiest can go to heaven?

Do you think that as long as that person is good, or at least generally good (I can not see no one breaking a couple of sins and especially the very unusual sins in the bible that we brake), despite them not believing in god can go to heaven?

THE BATTLE AXE:  Errors of King Solomon? (06/13/2013)—  (6)  For many, Solomon’s marriage to Pharaoh’s daughter is no different than Joseph’s marriage to an Egyptian, the priestess of On.  While the most important purpose of the holy writings is to manifest a revelation of divine nature, the process of the Scriptures is to detail human nature and the responses of created beings to divine events.  David and Solomon are not examples to Christian believers because of their excellent service as kings, their accomplishments, deeds of the flesh, or fulfillment of the law.  The two are significant because GOD is using their faith and humanity to make sacred truth visible  that would otherwise be hidden (see John 2:  23-25, Romans 4:  1-3, Romans 3:  19-28 and 2nd Corinthians 4:  6-11, KJV).  (7)  In spite of the fact that Solomon received the throne as heir to David, he and “the house of David” were heirs to the curses and troubles that came upon David.  See 2nd Samuel 12:  1-15, 1st Kings 14:  7-11 and 2nd Kings 17:  6-24, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;  Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious:  but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.  And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.  This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.  Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.  Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.  (1st Timothy 1:  12-17, King James Version)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Those Who Never Heard? (06/07/2013); If You Are Sent…? (06/08/2013); The “Jesus Way”? (05/17/2013); An Earth to Fix A Heaven? (08/26/2012); (12/18/2011) Girdle 33:  The Nearness of GOD; (12/19/2011) Girdle 34:  The Life Was The Light

Jose, here are some points that encourage Christian believers to make a cautious response:

(1)  Created beings and living creatures experience various sacred events that occur because of the existence of divinity.  In the same way they had no active role or input regarding Creation, these have no active role and input regarding other divine operations, sacred processes, and eternal purposes.  Included are apocalypse, death, judgment, rebirth, repentance, resurrection, revelation, salvation, and sanctification.

(2)  While it is planned that believers will participate in a broad range of “good works” pre-determined by GOD, one cannot work their way into heaven, or earn a place by behavior, conduct, and speech.  Included here are acts of kindness, donating money, church attendance, fundraising, and practice of sacraments.  See Matthew 5:  16, Ephesians 2:  10 and 1st Corinthians 13:  1-3, King James Version.

(3)  Fellowship with GOD is not achieved through academic, intellectual and mental operations that occur within finite frameworks of human awareness.  To the extent believing is a internal act composed of feeling, thought and self-will (we also say,  choice, decision-making, and volition), believing qualifies as no more than a “good work”.   More necessary than human ambition, desire and hope, being accepted by GOD turns on grace, divine prerogative, and sovereign authority.  See Ephesians 2:  1-9, KJV.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4)  Atheism, idolatry, many other human philosophies, and sin are empty (we also say, vain), and contain no spirit substance that they may influence Almighty GOD.  Of themselves they have no power to please or displease; and they are not amusing, clever or useful.  As crutches and supports maintained by emotion, imagination and pride, they may dominate awareness and self-will in the created.  Believers are encouraged to see how the possibilities for release and recovery of others whom they condemn as non-believers is no different than that provided for themselves; and is therefore a further revelation of exalted love and righteousness.)   Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

THE BATTLE AXE: The Divine Use of a Human Life? (04/23/2013)—The birth of Christ was to establish union for things that were completely finite, flesh and temporal within things that were eternal, invisible and totally Spirit. The Son of the Highest absolutely had to be brought into the world without the aspect of Adamic sin preserved within mankind by the flesh (i.e., appetite, mental functions, and sense), and accomplished without reproduction by human substance (we say, without fertilization, mitosis, and human DNA). Christ absolutely had to appear among the covenant people; and had to be acknowledged as a legitimate heir to those who had been set apart with Moses and Joshua, and had received a divine portion as their heritage. By the device of Joseph as an instrument of GOD in flesh, divine answer is made to multiple issues pertaining to covenant with Israel, the Levitical priesthood, and the status of Israel among the kingdoms of the earth. By his wanderings (Bethlehem, Egypt, Galilee, Nazareth), Joseph is both a figure of the nomad Abraham, who is called the Friend of GOD, and a figure of the twelve tribes of Jacob, who also were offered a unique, divine relationship. As a son of Adam, Joseph inherits the roles of trusted “caretaker”, husband, father, and servant to the Most High. In addition, Joseph is a son and spiritually legitimate heir to the throne of David (where King Herod is only politically legitimate).

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. (2nd Peter 1: 2-4, KJV)

Gino, here are some points that many clergy and mature Christian believers would endorse:

(1.) For human beings, the personal relationship with GOD made possible through the ministry of Jesus Christ is carefully built up over time. By continuing to grow, learn and share, a believer experiences multiple layers of closeness, intimacy, respect and trust. Fellowship with GOD is different from companionship, friendship or partnership shared by peers, and is cast in terms of dependency more than interdependence.

(2.) GOD is a spirit, and must be acknowledged as active and present through operations of being, breath, and divine utterance. The sacred content of GOD is such substance as faith, glory, holiness, humility, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. These are inseparable, and where one appears, all appear.

(3.) GOD is present within human awareness through multiple devices, mechanisms and spiritual tools provided to accomplish sacred operations, continue ongoing divine processes, and fulfill eternal purposes. Included are birth, creation, death, judgment, rebirth, resurrection, revelation, and sanctification.

(4.) Because the holy writings document covenants, divine law, praises, prayer, proclamations, promises, prophecy and other divine utterances that express the “mind” and will of GOD, the Scriptures are trusted to provide successful and useful material for building ones relationship with GOD through Christ. In any case, correct relationship with GOD begins, develops and turns upon the sharing of divine substance.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (5.) Where believers seek to make claims, or petition GOD for features from the inheritance of Jesus, they must first clearly understand that the bequest and heritage they are claiming is a consecrated priesthood. Like any inheritance, it may only be claimed lawfully. Believers must demonstrate their identity as joint-heir both in word and deed, for the legacy of Christ is one of spirit made visible in action, heaven made known in earth as well as flesh perfected by spirit.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

The divinity of Joseph, and his place as a caretaker and father to Jesus are topics, today. Also, there is more on when GOD controls. The “Yahoo! Answers” writer using ID “War and Peace” (Level 3 with 1,814 points, a member since September 2, 2012) posted the following:

Religious people: Why Jesus? Why not Joseph, Jesus’s father?

Does that makes Joseph God??

THE BATTLE AXE: When GOD Controls? (04/22/2013)—(5.) Accountability and divine judgment are not matters of arbitrarily placing blame, or exercising ones personal preferences. It is senseless to ask “who are you to question” as though challenging an ordinary person like oneself. It is the law, ones conscience, the account of ones own deeds, truth, and wisdom that accuses, challenges, indicts, or pronounces guilt. Because all are challenged to answer the same divine standards, and the divine judge is grounded in truth and impartial, judgment is trusted to be absolutely righteous, and does not permit bias and prejudice. (6.) GOD may not be blamed for the actions, errors, and sins of created beings and living creatures. The mechanisms of awareness and self-will make it that every being is accountable for their own behavior and conduct. More than this, all living must answer for their own peculiar application and use of their divine endowment. Included are discernment, divine gifts, doctrine, opportunities, skills, spirit content, talents, and tools. Faith in GOD, or believing the Gospel, does not justify selfishness, self-righteousness or sin. Through Christ one is justified only in such features as their giving, their meekness, their obedience, their repentance, their reverence, their submission, and their testimony.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God. But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people: The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing: Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation. But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. (Hebrews 9: 6-15, King James Version)

Dear War and Peace, here are some points shared among mature Christian believers that may help you further build up your understanding:

(1.) The divine use of a human life to perfectly execute and perform the will of GOD upon the earth must be carefully fitted to a broad range of divine events, sacred operations and eternal goals. Included are covenant, Creation, revelation, judgment, death, rebirth, resurrection, salvation, and sanctification. The sacred needs of all created beings and living creatures are to be addressed.

(2.) GOD is a spirit and must be known upon the earth through breath, spirit content (e.g., faith, grace, holiness), truth, and utterance that registers as consciousness (we say, the word). Only GOD is GOD, yet, GOD may appear and function as different Persons.

(3.) The word of GOD has been received, documented and shared in the earth as law, praise, prayer, promise, proclamation and prophecy. Often, actions and events performed by GOD are described before they occur through the word, and are clarified and explained after their occurrence by the word.

(4.) In accordance with the word of GOD spoken and maintained in the earth, Joseph and many others among the Jews as a covenant people to GOD were used to prepare mankind for the appearance of the Almighty upon the earth in the form of a human being, Jesus Christ.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (5.) Dynasty (i.e., royal secession), family lineage, inheritance and priesthood have been used as divine devices to fulfill and maintain the word of GOD to mankind. Flesh and spirit are both sacred tools in divine revelation.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
