THE SECOND COMING

Today, three Bible passages are shared that address questions on receiving grace and having merit with GOD.  The divine commandment is that we honor both father and mother.  Few mature Christians are likely to express judgment against their own parents, or call for favor from GOD to be granted one of their parents that would generate division, divorce, and their separation.  Criticizing, condemning, and coming between ones own parents are accounted as arrogant, hateful, malicious, presumptuous, unloving, and unrighteous.  Were a son or daughter to make a request of Jesus on behalf of their parents like that made for James and John, the sons of Zebedee, the Risen Lord might well respond in a similar way.  [It is written:  Matthew 20:  20-24, King James Version (KJV):  20 Then came to him the mother of Zebedees children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.  21 And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.  22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.  23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with:  but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.  24 And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren.]  Correctly understood, proper merit and worthiness for the things of divinity exist only among the persons within the GODhead where there is oneness without sameness that appears through mutual acceptance, complementary accomplishments, combined authority, one-of-a-kind commitment and faithfulness, specific eternal purposes, miracles and one-time events, and unified displays of divine worth.  Examples are seen in such sacred operations as atonement, propitiation, revelation, forgiveness, judgment, Incarnation, resurrection, sacrifice, sanctification, and suffering.  One of the many fighters at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile data appears) posted the following:

If you could choose, but only could choose one. Who would you say deserves heaven; your father or your mother?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it:  thou delightest not in burnt offering.  The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:  a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.  (Psalms 51:  16-17, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Forgiveness, Grace and Merit (06/22/2017); Held Accountable by GOD? (03/31/2017); …Because GOD Loves You (03/05/2017); On Accepting Divine Judgment (02/26/2017); Saying “GOD is Love” (12/18/2016); Choice, Duty, and Obligation? (11/17/2016); Judgment Focused On Content? (08/30/2016); Asking For Answers From GOD? (05/21/2015); Approaching Mothers Day (05/07/2015); A GOD of Love? (05/07/2013); Commanding the Storm? (05/08/2013)

“Anonymous”, there is a whole group of questions similar to this one of yours that all must be answered pretty much the same way.  Included are:  Who deserves to be created?  Who deserves to be healed?  Who deserves to be forgiven?  Who deserves to be loved by GOD?  Who deserves to be saved from hellfire?  Who deserves a great life and happiness from GOD (i.e., a fine-looking spouse, wealth, a big house, nice car, fun job, etc.)?  In a sense, the choice is easy because it is made by the law and not on the basis of emotion, feelings, and kinship.  Even so, mature Christian believers would all be likely to answer these questions with statements from the holy writings that speak to the awesomeness, grace, ownership, divine prerogative, eternal purposes, righteousness in judgment, sovereign will, and love of GOD.  There is no single, short, sweet answer, yet, there are lessons and points of truth that will nourish.  Consider again the following three passages:

(1.)  Luke 7:  36-50, King James Version (KJV):  36 And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee’s house, and sat down to meat.  37 And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,  38 And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.  39 Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him:  for she is a sinner.  40 And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.  41 There was a certain creditor which had two debtors:  the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.  42 And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?  43 Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.  44 And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet:  but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.  45 Thou gavest me no kiss:  but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.  46 My head with oil thou didst not anoint:  but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.  47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much:  but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.  48 And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.  49 And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?  50 And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

(2.)  1st John 4:  7-11, KJV:  7 Beloved, let us love one another:  for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.  8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.  9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.  10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.  11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

(3.)  Isaiah 57:  15-21, KJV:  15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.  16 For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth:  for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.  17 For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him:  I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.  18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him:  I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.  19 I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him.  20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.  21 There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

Of course, there is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, topics include the response of Jesus to Judas, discerning divine operations, and realizing the active presence who is GOD.  Reply is made to a person boasting that he is an atheist and an imposter who deceives Christian believers.  Those who insist on foolishness and being playful in response to the Gospel do so risking the loss of their salvation from GOD.  For thereby they trod under foot the Son of God, count the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and do despite unto the Spirit of grace.  Through the Holy Spirit, believers are granted discernment to correctly respond to divinity, acknowledge and return genuine love, protect one another from fraud, and to shun iniquity and ungodliness.  Even so, judgment within the body of Christ is to be limited, and aims to avoid pronouncing perdition, and utter condemnation.  Authority to seal and make final determinations of sacred value (and its absence) for individuals, and various events are reserved and exclusive to divinity.  The faithful are instructed that all have sinned and come short,” yet, are cautioned to “judge nothing before the time,” and realize we are in a period of grace.  A person denying the Lord today may become changed in an instant to be a new creation.  When you see them tomorrow, or a few days from now, they may have had their own personal experience of salvation through Christ.  More than this, even where they deny the Lord now, they are no less divine instruments and tools to accomplish eternal purpose.  Jesus and the other apostles accepted the presence of Judas of Iscariot for some three years before the agent of Satan betrayed the Savior with a kiss.  During those years, his acceptance by the Lord was never because Jesus had been “fooled” or tricked regarding the man’s motives and true nature.  Con artists, deceivers, agents of the devil, and “flimflam” men seek to exploit human error, weaknesses, and wickedness in others thinking themselves specially skilled and superior.  Thus, their downfall and exposure usually come through hubris and their own exaggerated pride.  That others make no complaint or push the disbeliever away can be attributed to compassion, correct focus on the coming of Christ to harvest the earth, the greater maturity of believers, and that others do recognize the offender’s desperate need for ministry from a friend who is truly in Christ.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers (Malaysia)” using the ID “Kristophoros” (Level 2 with 284 points, a member since October 14, 2014) posted the following:

If Christians have a Holy Spirit, why can’t they tell that I’m kidding when I say I’m a Christian?

All I have to do is quote some scripture, praise Jesus, and they don’t have a clue I’m an atheist. Where is the Holy Spirit? I even had a Christian say they could feel the Holy Spirit flowing from me!

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.  Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.  But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man’s judgment:  yea, I judge not mine own self.  For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified:  but he that judgeth me is the Lord.  Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts:  and then shall every man have praise of God.  (1st Corinthians 4:  1-5, King James Version (KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Called, Justified, and Glorified? (01/08/2017); Knowing GOD and Sin? (02/03/2017); Waiting For His Appearing (02/09/2016); Answer a Fool? (06/04/2015); The Gift of Meekness (11/25/2014); Concerning Meekness (11/26/2014); On Testing GOD (06/20/2013); GOD Grants License? (06/21/2013); Origin of Baptism? (06/22/2013)

“Kristophoros”, correctly understood, the “good fight of faith” is not one to condemn sinners so much as it is to bestow the love of GOD upon them.  In addition to wrath against sin, the operations of GOD to maintain and reinforce divine order, eternal life, and the sovereign will of Deity are to be recognized through the appearance of such inseparable spirit content as balance, forbearance, forgiveness, humility, longsuffering, lovingkindness, maturity, meekness, patience, respect, restraint, and sobriety.  Every born-again Christian believer must accept permanent changes in their own character and makeup that only result from operations of the imparted, indwelling Spirit of GOD.  A reborn sinner must “grow up again” by acquiring sacred knowledge through fellowship, praise, prayer, service, study and worship; by completing sacred assignments and duties; by enduring “growing pains” that may include oppression, persecution, and suffering as well as by enduring and overcoming multiple temptations, thrusts and trials from those outside of Christ.  Accusation, confrontation, denouncing others, and slander are weapons of the Devil along with deceit, lies, malice and violence.  True Christian warfare occurs on a higher plane.  Consider again the following from the holy writings:

(1.)  2nd Corinthians 10:  3-5, King James Version (KJV):  3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:  4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)  5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

(2.)  2nd Timothy 2:  19-26, KJV:  19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.  20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.  21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.  22 Flee also youthful lusts:  but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.  23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.  24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,  25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;  26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Malachi 3:  17-18, KJV:  17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.  18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Jesus-Knows-What-Is-in-Man.jpg

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; (Jeremiah 1:  5, New International Version, NIV)

Today, topics include discernment, judging character, and knowing and reading the hearts of others.  While it may be involuntary, unintended, and unplanned, men eventually expose their private feelings, hidden motives and secret thoughts, for all upon the earth become transparent through their own actions and words.  Jesus knew that many among those drawn to his ministry mistakenly expected the Messiah to overthrow the Romans by miracles and warfare, and to reestablish their former glory through a new Jewish kingdom.  Thus, the Savior realized many were coming to him filled with ambition, covetousness, greed, ignorance of prophecy, selfish interpretations of divine law, and exaggerated pride.  In this sense, Jesus was prepared by the Holy Spirit with “a knowledge of all men.”  Just as sinners are provided with divine law to correctly recognize and resist sin, born-again believers in Jesus Christ are provided with divine standards and tools for recognizing authentic instruction and testimony from GOD, sacred truth, those who are sent, and the fruit of divine plantings.  Believers are not to be ignorant of current affairs, secular history, and ongoing realities, however, they are not to be distracted or drawn away by such things from their primary spiritual concerns.  As with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Christian believers will make no use of “brain washing,” hypnosis, “mind control,” or techniques to overthrow the humanity and wholeness of other persons.  One of the fighters at “Yahoo! Answers (Singapore)” using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

Christians do you believe it is possible to read hearts?

A person who can read hearts could be in the same room with someone and almostly immediately be able to tell if the other person us evil between a few seconds and a few minutes. According to legend some of the saints could read hearts.

Update: Anne Arkey it sounds like you may have the gift of reading hearts. It’s kind of like a 6th sense. It is heightened psychological awareness

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.  But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit:  for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.  For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.  Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:  for they are foolishness unto him:  neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.  But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.  For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.  (1st Corinthians 2:  9-16, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  “Only GOD Can Judge”? (02/28/2017); Temporal and Eternal Judgment (02/15/2017); Knowing GOD and Sin? (02/03/2017); The Two-edged Sword (01/09/2017); Judgment Focused On Content? (08/30/2016); About Other People’s Beliefs (06/22/2016); A Fool of the Church? (01/26/2016)

“Anonymous”, the ability to “read hearts” that is provided by GOD to those in the ministry of Jesus Christ is properly called “discernment” that allows correct recognition and response to spirit content from the makeup of GOD that resides within events, in oneself, in others, in the holy writings, etc.  Believers often must become aware of what is unseen.  Even so, focus is not upon emotions, feelings, and sentiment so much as on divine intent, eternal purpose, and the active presence of the holy.  Specific indicators and patterns accompany divine operations in the life such as rebirth through water baptism, love, the fruit of the Spirit, and zeal.  New believers often err thinking that, as the Son of GOD, Jesus could “read” another person’s mind (we say, ESP (extra sensory psychic communication); telepathy), and that he was a “good judge of human character.”  More correctly, the Savior had to “grow up” operating under the same dictates of divine law and finite human nature as we must do today.  Jesus demonstrated receiving and applying divine gifts that further equip believers to avoid the snares and traps used by the Adversary, corrupt officials, deceivers, and false prophets.  Because of the proclamations and promises granted through the prophets, Jesus expected men would be ready to gladly answer the new creation with its opportunities and possibilities for eternal life.  Adjusting to their disappointing response, the Lord acknowledged that all mankind continues in the inheritance of sin from Adam, and that the comfort zone for many is to rely upon animal herding instincts, social customs, and long-held tradition.  Thus, like Jesus, we are to share salvation through Spirit, not through argument, carnal reason, debate, and persuasion.  Consider the following points from the holy writings:

(1.)  Jeremiah 14:  13-15, King James Version (KJV):  13 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place.  14 Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name:  I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them:  they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.  15 Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.

(2.)  Jeremiah 17:  9-10, KJV:  9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked:  who can know it?  10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

(3.)  Isaiah 8:  20, KJV:  20 To the law and to the testimony:  if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

(4.)  Hebrews 4:  12-13, KJV:  12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.  13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight:  but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

(5.)  Luke 6:  6-11, KJV:  6 And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught:  and there was a man whose right hand was withered.  7 And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.  8 But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.  9 Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?  10 And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so:  and his hand was restored whole as the other.  11 And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (6.)  John 2:  23-25, KJV:  23 Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.  24 But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,  25 And needed not that any should testify of man:  for he knew what was in man.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, language that speaks to judging others and final judgment by GOD are considered.  In addition to divine operations that express the will of divinity, “judgment” means the final conclusion, outcome, sentence, or verdict in formal tribunals to determine accountability, sacred content, value, and worth.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers (UK & Ireland)” using the ID “Joker” (Level 2 with 251 points, a member since April 13, 2013) posted the following:

What is the meaning of “Only God can Judge us”?
Please explain.

Thank You very much.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone.  And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.  And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,  Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.  And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.  (Exodus 34:  4-8, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  On Accepting Divine Judgment (02/26/2017); Temporal and Eternal Judgment (02/15/2017); Blame, Sin and Salvation? (02/13/2017); Having to Pass Inspection (02/06/2017); Judgment Focused On Content? (08/30/2016); A Fool of the Church? (01/26/2016); On Christians Executing Judgment (06/06/2014); Stoning in the OT? (06/07/2014); Suffering Circumcision? (06/08/2014)

“Joker”, created beings and living creatures encounter many errors and sins in their own efforts to correctly respond to the judgment of GOD.  Among sinners, it often is common to hear it said, “Only God can judge me!” because they are speaking in exaggerated pride, and are focused on the social process of judging others and being judged by others.  In effect, they are saying, “I am not  willing to allow anyone else to judge me.  I might allow God to judge me—however, I still have a “god-given” right to change my mind about that.”  More correctly understood, judgment is a sacred event and a spiritual process that fulfills multiple eternal purposes of GOD.  Included are revelation (i.e., making Deity, who is spirit, knowable, known and “visible”), resolution of conflicts and the settlement of disputes through the application of divine law as well as selecting the vessels of imparted Spirit among created beings and living creatures that are to endure as immortal life companions to divinity.  Where mature Christian believers say, “only GOD may judge,” they tend to be addressing the qualifications for the one who officiates as the embodiment of the law, and therefore, has the greatest influence and weight in deciding the outcome of formal tribunals.  Judgment requires examination and inclusion of multiple subtleties (i.e., barely visible differences; hidden shifts in meanings and value; actions and events having GOD as the only true witness).  The demands of concluding and final judgment that express the sovereign will of GOD include balance, completeness, discernment, impartiality, longsuffering, mercy, restraint, and righteousness.  Another meaning of the phrase, “only God may judge,” centers in the word “judge” as meaning “condemn” or “damn” (i.e. , send someone to hell).  Therein, the guilty often insist that only Deity is justified and qualified to rule that a life should be destroyed or totally erased.  Consider the following:

(1.)  Deuteronomy 17:  8-13, King James Version (KJV):  8 If there arise a matter too hard for thee in judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke, being matters of controversy within thy gates: then shalt thou arise, and get thee up into the place which the LORD thy God shall choose;  9 And thou shalt come unto the priests the Levites, and unto the judge that shall be in those days, and enquire; and they shall shew thee the sentence of judgment:  10 And thou shalt do according to the sentence, which they of that place which the LORD shall choose shall shew thee; and thou shalt observe to do according to all that they inform thee:  11 According to the sentence of the law which they shall teach thee, and according to the judgment which they shall tell thee, thou shalt do:  thou shalt not decline from the sentence which they shall shew thee, to the right hand, nor to the left.  12 And the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before the LORD thy God, or unto the judge, even that man shall die:  and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel.  13 And all the people shall hear, and fear, and do no more presumptuously.

(2.)  Psalms 50:  3-6, KJV:  3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence:  a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.  4 He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.  5 Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.  6 And the heavens shall declare his righteousness:  for God is judge himself. Selah.

(3.)  2nd Timothy 3:  1-5, KJV:  1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,  3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;  5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof:  from such turn away.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Revelation 21:  5-8, KJV:  5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write:  for these words are true and faithful.  6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.  7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.  8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:  which is the second death.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today the differences between temporal and eternal judgment are in view.  The weighing of deeds and their outcomes by men is not the same as the weighing of spirit content and its fruit as attitudes, behavior and conduct performed by GOD.  Fitness to exist as a companion to immortal, incorruptible divinity will have to appear in all who hope to share eternal life.  Annihilation and utter destruction (we say, the second death) in the lake of fire are the only provision for sinners not covered by atonement following the conclusion of judgment against their sin.  One of the fighters at “Yahoo! “Anonymous”, there are both temporal and eternal judgment.  The sacred knowledge provided to mature Christian believers as revelation also addresses the nature and process of divine judgment, for divinity is the origin of law and the fundamental order that describes the universe as well as the benefits and sanctions of the law that determine the quality of life among created beings and living creatures.  The benefits of judgment include peace, resolution of conflict, and the settlement of disputes without malice or violence through the application of sovereign law.  In divine judgment the righteousness of GOD is made knowable, known, and indisputable.  Divine condemnation of sin, and the fall of mankind from grace occurred long before the tables showing Ten Commandments were provided as a gift of law through Moses.  Law proclaimed and spoken by GOD as a condition for covenant relationship showed that the correct focus in lawful judgment is the maintenance of divine presence and sacred government.  The process of judgment for nations declares the specific patterns for events to express the will of Deity, and is not about detailing the character, errors, faults and weaknesses of individuals.  Thus, judgment and justice may address the actuality of whether men have caused or committed peculiar crimes and offenses.  The divine operations to determine the elimination or continued existence of a person’s “life essence” as being acceptable to GOD only may be carried out and completed using such divine operations as atonement, repentance, resurrection, sanctification, and “the second death.”  In obedience to GOD,  divine wrath against sin will continue to be proclaimed and sentencing by the law against those who are guilty can be lawfully carried out, among the living on the earth.  Even so, no ones “life essence” and spirit substance are being weighed for permanent elimination from eternity by human agents and spokespersons of divinity.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  Deuteronomy 1:  17, King James Version (KJV):  17 Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is God’s:  and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it.

(2.)  Romans 1:  18-23, KJV:  18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;  19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.  20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:  21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,  23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

(3.)  Romans 1:  28-32, KJV:  28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;  29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,  30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,  31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:  32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Galatians 5:  16-23, KJV:  16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.  17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh:  and these are contrary the one to the other:  so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.  18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.  19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,  20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,  21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like:  of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.  22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,  23 Meekness, temperance:  against such there is no law.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, topics include denominations, differences, and diversity within the household of GOD.  Catholic, Protestant, Baptist, Pentecostal, Methodist, Presbyterian:  there is a long list of names showing institutions who claim the Child that was born.  By the birth of Jesus, multiple streams of eternal purpose were combined and directed to continue in accord.  A child was born to remove enmity and separation between the Gentiles and the Jews, and a new access to the Father would be granted through his blood.  A new creation, the church, would emerge having one faith, one Lord, one baptism, one God and Father of all.  The authority as High Priest, Judge, Redeemer, and King continues to belong to the Son of the Highest.  Yet, the necessary acknowledgment of those who now also are children of GOD and joint-heirs with Christ may be completed only by the Father and the Holy Spirit.  A fighter at “Yahoo! God is not a God of confusion. So with the soo many Protestant sects disagreeing with each other, doesn’t this mean Protestantism is false?

1 Corinthians 14:33

33 For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.

As in all the churches of the saints,

What say ye?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;  That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:  But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.  For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;  Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;  And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:  And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.  For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.  Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;  And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;  In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:  In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.  (Ephesians 2:  11-22, King James Version, KJV)

“Cato”, the existence of many denominations within the full household of GOD does not violate the “rule” of oneness without sameness that exists within the GODhead, and is little different from a father having many sons who are not the same age, do not share the same interests, and do not show the same willingness to do chores around the house.  Most mature Christian believers agree that divinity has appeared in flesh upon the earth as an answer to the many conflicts and questions that continually plague the living.  The aspects of revelation accomplished through the birth of Jesus Christ clarified, fulfilled, and also concluded various sacred covenants, proclamations, promises, and prophecies.  Even so, created beings and living creatures are not equipped to correctly recognize and respond to revealed truth from GOD until they receive a fresh endowment of spirit substance from the makeup of GOD.  Saying this another way, sinners must be born again; and once born again, believers must “grow up again” and mature by meeting life challenges upon the earth.  Diversity appears as an important device that is seen throughout Creation and among believers.  Without appearing in flesh (first as Jesus Christ, then, as his followers), divinity may only be known in relationship as immortal, immutable, invisible, and unchanging.  Through a human aspect, Jesus, the Son of Man, the Son of GOD, divine judgment is shown to center upon atonement, correction, forbearance, forgiveness, mercy, reconciliation, redemption, righteousness, and salvation.  Ethnicity, nationality, race, financial status, etc. are all “vain” (lack sacred substance).  Only GOD may make the necessary judgments of those who will be acknowledged as his offspring and heirs.  Thus, true believers will all patiently await the return of Jesus (we say, Advent, the harvest, the Rapture, the Second Coming, his appearing), and also practice restraint concerning condemnation, conflict, and differences.

Today, the common errors are in view of seeking to identify and label Christian believers—and count the number of those within the Kingdom—on the basis of extraordinary events (signs), or their “good works” and service, rather, than their spirit content from GOD.  The followers of Jesus are not required to “move mountains” so much as they are to quietly endure and respond as Jesus would to life experiences upon the earth that may include betrayal, contradiction, loss, oppression, persecution, and suffering.  The ability to distinguish the spiritual standing and status of others requires discernment (i.e., applying ones own divine spirit content to correctly recognize spirit matter in events, messages, objects, oneself, other persons, etc.).  The character, nature, and spirit substance of sinners can be permanently changed through rebirth that may occur in baptism, or the falling of the Holy Spirit.  Content from the makeup of divinity is imparted to the sinner, and must develop, grow and bear fruit within them, in a way similar to that for seeds that are planted in the earth.  The fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.  In place of the works of the flesh, or even more ceremonies, rites, rituals, and sacraments, a godly crop from the divine presence is to appear.  For the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance:  against such there is no law.  Even so, as those who are born-again, all believers will not be gifted, given deposits from Deity, and guided to serve as apostles, bishops, deacons and prophets who will regularly display casting out devils (exorcism), healing, speaking in tongues, or interpreting tongues.  While all are not required to oversee congregations, be head of a family, perform miracles, preach, and teach, all are to continually acknowledge and portray the gentleness, godliness, and goodness of Jesus Christ in their own daily routines of life.  Believers are enabled to share the Gospel through personal testimony, their ongoing relationships, and by witness to things recorded in the holy writings.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Are all people who run their mouthes claiming they believe in God real believers?

Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.

How many of you people can do this?
How many true believers are there?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?  Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.  Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.  For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.  Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.  And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life:  he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.  But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.  All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.  (John 6:  30-37, KJV)

“Abraham”, until they have been “born again” and established within the system of Christian belief as “doers of the word, not hearers, only”; sinners are not capable of performing as apostles, prophets, and spokespersons sent by GOD.  To exercise the authority, power, and wisdom for such office, a believer first must gradually mature (“grow up again”) through such activity as exchange and interaction with more experienced disciples and followers of the Lord (e.g., clergy); by praise, prayer, reverence, thanksgiving, and worship; by study of the holy writings as well as by giving, sharing, and unselfish service.  While sacred events (we say, miracles; signs; wonders) may result through faith, faith is not always the outcome of miracles.  Amazing and spectacular displays may derive from lust for popularity and vainglory, self-promotion, and “showmanship”.  When not prayerfully provided, miracles may increase complacency, fear, indifference, skepticism, superstition, and uncertainty.  Thus, more than performing miracles, those who are sent as incarnations and vessels of divinity are to display faith and the other inseparable aspects of spirit content from GOD.  Included are balance, forbearance, forgiveness, holiness, humility, joy, longsuffering, love, meekness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  The appearance and message of believers are to center upon grace, not works.  Consider again how some of this is stated in the language of the Bible:

(1.)  2nd Kings 5:  9-13, King James Version (KJV):  9 So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha.  10 And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.  11 But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.  12 Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage.  13 And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?

(2.)  Matthew 12:  38-40, KJV:  38 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.  39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:  40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

(3.)  John 6:  27-29, KJV:  27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you:  for him hath God the Father sealed.  28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?  29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

There is far more that should be said, carefully examined, and spiritually understood.  (For example, (4.)  Ephesians 2:  8-10, KJV:  8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:  it is the gift of God:  9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.  10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
