Today, reply is on an account of a healing by Jesus Christ that exposes the difference between the authority of law given by GOD and the authority of doctrine and teaching from spiritual men and their traditions.  Many have insisted that the highest need of mankind is for the law of GOD to exist in the earth, for the living are approved through their obedience to law, and more than any other institution or person, the law embodies and makes present divine authority, justice and wisdom.  However, the operation and process of divine law must appear through displays of sacred spirit such as faith, humility and self-abasement, rather than desire for personal achievement, ambition and self-promotion.  Many rely on their own self-discipline and willpower to impress and influence Deity, however, only those who trust and obey truly are lifted up and restored to GOD.  A fighter using the ID “Christian sinner” (Level 7 with 211,509 points, a member since November 28, 2006) posted the following in the “Yahoo! Answers” Religion and Spirituality forum:

What was the point to Luke 14:1-6?

Luke 14

One Sabbath, when Jesus went to eat in the house of a prominent Pharisee, he was being carefully watched. 2 There in front of him was a man suffering from abnormal swelling of his body. 3 Jesus asked the Pharisees and experts in the law, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath or not?” 4 But they remained silent. So taking hold of the man, he healed him and sent him on his way.

5 Then he asked them, “If one of you has a child[a] or an ox that falls into a well on the Sabbath day, will you not immediately pull it out?” 6 And they had nothing to say.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man. Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying? But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up. Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. (Matthew 15: 7-14, King James Version, KJV)

(06/17/2018); Sabbath Acknowledges Divine Personhood (05/14/2018); We Establish Covenant Relationship (05/01/2018); The Law and The Prophets (03/07/2018); Sacred Law and Practice (02/12/2018)

“Christian sinner”, just as merely discovering a minor contradiction or technicality in sacred law is not enough to overthrow the dominion of divinity, merely obeying divine law is not enough to justify or redeem a sinner.  Here are some points we often fail to consider:

As Jesus began his ministry on the earth, the Savior was challenged and tested by Satan in the Wilderness, in the Synagogue, and even in the home of prominent community figures.  Numbered by some as his 3rd miracle, Jesus healed a man having dropsy–the doctrines of the Pharisees who insisted on the “law and the prophets” without the Spirit of Prophecy (we also say, the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth).  Dropsy is a disease that appears through swelling of body parts, and is caused by toxins that may result in death.  Dropsy is a literary/narrative type representing sin and doctrine that is vain (i.e., lacking spirit substance from the makeup of GOD).  Thus, dropsy is like leaven (we say, yeast) that causes dough for bread to become puffed up.  A man is not to be commended for merely conforming to and following the law of GOD; such conduct is carnal, mechanical, and after the flesh, rather than an expression of ones divine content, and a genuine display of GOD’s apprehension of mankind and all Creation.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Luke 17: 7-10, King James Version (KJV): 7 But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?  8 And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?  9 Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.  10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

(2.)  Romans 3:19-26, KJV: 19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.  20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.  21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;  22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe:  for there is no difference:  23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;  24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:  25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;  26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

(3.)  Galatians 2: 16-21, KJV:  16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.  17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.  18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.  19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.  20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. 21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) Romans 8: 5-9, KJV: 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, reply is on the spiritual meaning and value of keeping the ancient Sabbath laws recorded throughout the Bible.  The fighter using the ID “Violation Nation” (Level 5 with 8,833 points; a member since November 08, 2014) in the “Yahoo! Why can’t atheists admit when God was telling us to stone people who work on the sabbath to death, he only meant in the past?

It was moral then and served His divine plan that doesn’t mean we have to do it today but I gotta admit it really makes me angry to see people working all the same?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:  And by him all that believer are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.  (Acts 13:  38-39, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Did The Prophets Know? (05/23/2018); Sabbath Acknowledges Divine Personhood (05/14/2018); We Establish Covenant Relationship (05/01/2018); Being A Holy Nation (02/20/2018); Sacred Law and Practice (02/12/2018); Conditions Set By Covenant? (09/13/2017); Deeds Of The Law? (09/10/2017)

“Violation Nation”, among the many Christian believers who realize the ancient promises and prophecies provided th
rough Israel are continued through the r
evelation of Jesus Christ, the divine law speaking to the Sabbath is increasingly acknowledged as forward-looking, and a vital tool to correctly prepare men for the Second Coming of Jesus as the King of Glory.  The character and nature of divine fullness (we also say, the GODhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) is not fully revealed focusing only on punishment and wrath against sin.  Included also must be completeness, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, mercy, personhood, righteousness, and wisdom.  Communication between the Creator and the created requires a peculiar vocabulary that embraces spiritual events and sacred substance.  Aspects of the sacred operations and eternal purposes of GOD may not be communicated without using the clear features of birth, death, existence, resurrection, and the second death.

The sacred requirements for judgment make it that, among believers, accountability and duty extend beyond simple obedience.  The Ten Commandments (we also say, the Covenant) were provided to accomplish more than simply the transformation of twelve tribes and a mixed multitude (Gentiles) from Egypt into a divinely ruled sovereign nation by focusing on specific behaviors and conduct.  The Decalogue continues to clarify and crystallize the perpetual relationship between mankind and divinity that became corrupted through the disobedience of Adam.  Given the law is an expression of sacred intent and divine will, the law is to be embodied within conscience and self-will of the living as divine content and “life essence” (i.e., breath; spirit; word).  Consider the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Exodus 23:  10-12, King James Version (KJV):  10 And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the fruits thereof:  11 But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat:  and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy olive yard.  12 Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest:  that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.

(2.)  Isaiah 58:  13-14, KJV:  If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:  14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father:  for the mouth of the Lord Hath spoken it.

(3.)  Matthew 12:  1-8, KJV:  1 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn and to eat.  2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day. 3 But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him;  4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?  5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?  6 But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.  7 But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.  8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

There is far more to be acknowledged and received as part of ones own spiritual fullness.  (For example (4.)  Luke 14:  1-6,KJV:  1 And it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched him.  2 And, behold, there was a certain man before him which had the dropsy.  3 And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day?  4 And they held their peace.  And he took him, and healed him, and let him go;  5 And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day?  6 And they could not answer him again to these things.)  Even so, to the rebuke of the Adversary and the furtherance of the faithful in Jesus Christ, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

justified-by-faith

Today, the topics include faith, grace, justification, and words.  Words that embody divine essence (we say, spirit) are the shared substance for existence within the church of Jesus Christ.  Truth and words from GOD are themselves divine substance, and will appear in many forms and groupings (e.g., confession; covenant; divine law; praise; prayers; proclamation; promises as well as testimony, witness and verdict in judgment).  One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” forum who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

How are we justified by both our words (Matt 12:37) and grace (Rom 3:24)?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.  For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.  For your obedience is come abroad unto all men.  I am glad therefore on your behalf:  but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.  And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.  (Romans 16:  17-20, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Deeds Of The Law? (09/10/2017); Order Your Conversation Aright (07/12/2016); Justified Through Christ? (08/26/2015); Can The Bible Be Increased? (05/31/2015); The Words Are Spirit? (06/03/2015); Words Spoken By GOD? (06/05/2013); Teachings on Judgment (06/06/2013)

“Anonymous”, Christian believers are to be representatives and spokespersons of GOD and Jesus Christ.  Keeping in mind that the Scriptures often present the same lessons and points of truth using language that include subtleties (i.e., barely visible differences; hidden shifts in meaning, quality, and value), many mature Christians avoid spiritual confusion by continually acknowledging the oneness without sameness displayed through the Holy Spirit.  Believers must practice discernment whereby they recognize and respond to spirit substance from the fullness of divinity (we say, the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) as it appears within events, oneself, other persons, different messages and statements, prophecy, purposes, etc.  Iniquity, rebellion, and transgression of divine law are not justified by the blood of Jesus Christ, or any other dispensation from divinity.  Even so, repenting sinners and developing believers are justified in their seeking forgiveness, renewal, and eternal existence as the new creation of GOD on the earth by the righteousness of their own faith imparted from GOD through Jesus and the Holy Spirit, rather than through strict obedience to divine law on the basis their own awareness (conscience) and self-will (willpower).

Believers only are “justified” before GOD by Christ as they manifest (i.e., embody and express) the life and “person” of Jesus Christ.  Within the fullness of sacred knowledge (rather than secular knowledge), words, speech, and utterance convey and impart divine life essence (breath; spirit; word).  Conversation and words that are vain lack spirit substance from the makeup of GOD.  In divine judgment, words move and transfer spirit substance, therefore, words have equal weight as actions.  Words may initiate or continue attitudes, behavior, desires, feelings, and unseen motives.  To say we are “justified by the grace of GOD” is not exactly the same as saying “we are justified by our practice of faith,” or “we are justified by love bestowed on us from GOD.”  However, correctly understood, divine grace is inseparable from the divine spirit content one receives as a fresh endowment from GOD at rebirth.  Included are balance, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Proverbs 18:  21, King James Version (KJV):  21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue:  and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

(2.)  James 3:  7-10, KJV:  7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:  8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.  9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.  10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

(3.)  Romans 10:  5-10, KJV:  5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.  6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)  7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)  8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart:  that is, the word of faith, which we preach;  9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.) 1st Timothy 6:  3-5, KJV:  3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;  4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,  5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness:  from such withdraw thyself.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Infant Baptism - Russia крещение-ребенка

Today, reply is on infant baptism, the just, and the inclusion of small children within the body of Christ.  Divine law is not invested within a newborn child as intellect and secular knowledge so much as through self-will.  (Saying this another way:  Romans 5:  13, King James Version, KJV:  (For until the law sin was in the world:  but sin is not imputed when there is no law.)  Where the objective of baptism is understood as the establishment of a personal relationship between the Creator and the created, baptism involves the emanation and putting forth of spirit substance that includes sovereign will from the makeup of divinity.  Also deposited are sacred consciousness, existence, faith, holiness, lovingkindness, person, and the will to live.  By election, grace and divine prerogative, then, children have place as sons and daughters of GOD on the basis of their spirit content imparted from Deity without also having performed various “religious” deeds, prayers, service, and good works.  The possibilities and purity of children are imputed as well as imparted.  One of the fighters at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information supplied) posted the following:

Is luke 18:16-17 teaching we have to receive the kingdom of God as a child like infant baptism?

16 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

17 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.  Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.  (Romans 4:  7-8, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Dead While We Live? (02/02/2017); Spirit Content From GOD? (09/26/2016); Of Such Is The Kingdom (09/01/2015); To Foster Godly Sorrow (03/11/2016); Asking For Answers From GOD? “Anonymous”, here are some points that many Christian believers have found useful for avoiding error and spiritual confusion when considering baptism for babies, small children, and those having special needs.  Some insist that baptism is a public act from personal choice and self-will (we say, voluntary).  Therefore, to be baptized, a person should be at an “age of responsibility” as with secular activities like drinking alcohol, driving, and voting for elected officials.  Among Christian congregations the age of responsibility varies from 8 to 25 years old.  Those who argue to exalt finite human nature and “free will” often despise baptism as an act of formalism (commitment to the letter of divine law, yet not its spirit), and a foolish act of surrender (acknowledging the sovereignty of GOD).  Others, accept models that appear as practices and principles recorded in the Scriptures.

Baptism can be understood as an aspect of identity and spiritual inheritance received through ones parents such as circumcision, citizenship within the divine kingdom, practice of sacraments within the home, and the sharing of sacred knowledge.  More correctly, baptism is an operation of the Holy Spirit like the founding of heaven and earth.  In the same way, a newborn child is not required to choose his birth parents, his birth order, or such physical characteristics as gender, there nonetheless are multiple life conditions inherited from Adam and their ancestors that will continue throughout the child’s own lifetime, and that should be correctly addressed with the child’s very beginnings.  Included are prenatal care, vulnerability to sickness and disease, mortality, and divine wrath against sin.  There is no demand that a fetus or infant choose their standing with GOD; however, their caretakers are accountable for the child’s survival and well-being, and should acknowledge the child’s initial spiritual condition as one of the just (the Lord’s justified ones).  The just are accounted as blameless and having committed neither good deeds nor bad.  Should the child die before being weaned, learning to walk and talk, or enroll in school for secular instruction, their acceptance with divinity has been established by GOD as a “free gift“” (we say, blessing).  Believing is an act of faith or an act of will, and would qualify the child as coming to GOD through works, not grace.

The process of salvation is divine, is not a “one-time” event, and does not rely on the content of human awareness and self-will (willpower).  Salvation goes forward as revelation (i.e., discovery, edification, gradual growth, and continual learning) that makes visible the active presence of GOD, his eternal purposes, and the diverse expressions of his unchanging nature and will.  Congregations and communities of faith that promote infant baptism often also will practice confession of commitment to Christ, confirmation, and public enrollment as a mature believer once a member “comes of age.”  Consider the following:

(1.)  Romans 6:  3-6, King James Version (KJV):  3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?  4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death:  that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.  5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:  6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

(2.)  John 1:  10-14, KJV:  10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.  11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.  12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:  13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.  14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

(3.)  Romans 9:  8-16, KJV:  8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God:  but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.  9 For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sarah shall have a son.  10 And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac;  11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)  12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.  13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.  14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.  15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.  16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.

Today, reply is made on divine provisions to determine (judge) a person’s righteousness apart from their deeds to obey the law.  The divine response to sin, and the demands from Deity placed on the living regarding sin are determined in part by the character and substance of sin as well as by the content and sovereign will of GOD.  Good deeds and acceptable works have always been required from all who live, however, the meaning and value of works by the living are now given a new significance.  In the same way the divinity of Jesus Christ is not complete without authority, glory, grace, and majesty, correctly acknowledged, the deeds and works of men required by the law must be joined to attitudes and conduct that make visible the character, principles, and spirit within the fullness of divinity.  Thus, the continued existence of created beings and living creatures is acceptable and “justified” as an aspect of the existence of GOD, and in accordance with their makeup and content as vessels of divinity.  One of the fighters at “Yahoo! Answers” who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information appears), posted the following:

Can anyone please explain to me what Romans 3:28 is saying in simple terms?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:  it is the gift of God:  Not of works, lest any man should boast.  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.   Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;  That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:  But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.  For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;  Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;  And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:  And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.  For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.  (Ephesians 2:  8-18, King James Version, KJV)

“Anonymous”, here are some points you may find helpful for a complete and correct Christian understanding of Romans 3:  28, King James Version (KJV):  28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

(1.)  Where “faith” is acknowledged as a divine substance from the fullness and makeup of GOD, faith is made up only of faith, and is inseparable from the other aspects of spirit content such as holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Faith may be imparted to created beings and living creatures as breath, life essence, spirit, and word.

(2.)  “The deeds of the law” are often taken simply to mean “obedience”.  However, through Jesus Christ we also should grasp a broader reading that is not to be overlooked.  Within the Scriptures, the word “law” means the things spoken by GOD to Moses and those who entered into covenant in ancient times (we say, the Ten Commandments); the full range of demands made by the covenant (e.g., decisions and judgments, feasts, ordinances, statutes); and the ceremonies, practices, and standards to be used by priests and Levites within the Tabernacle/Temple.

(3.)  The law from GOD among men served as an essence or shadow of the active presence.  Thus, the appearance of GOD in the person of Jesus Christ was required to provide fullness and substance to the otherwise unseen aspects of the law.  Included are balance, godliness, grace, impartiality, love, peace through resolution of disputes, reconciliation, and righteousness.

(4.)  Christ is now appearing as our High Priest in heaven who makes atonement for us in fulfillment of the eternal law.  This is spoken to in the Scriptures in Exodus 28:  38, KJV:  38 And it shall be upon Aaron’s forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before the LORD.   Also, Leviticus 5:  15, KJV:  15 If a soul commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring for his trespass unto the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  Gentiles were also part of the covenant with Moses, yet, the covenant became a wall of separation between Jews and Gentiles.  Through Christ as both Priest and sacrifice, the requirements for salvation are shown to be spirit content from GOD that includes responding to divine law as well as operating with sacred knowledge, eternal purpose, and deposits of sovereign will.  Obedience alone does not now justify and make mankind acceptable to divinity.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, thoughts are shared on the Ten Commandments as an Incarnation of divinity.  Obedience to the law of GOD provides many different benefits.  Even so, simply obeying the law does not completely and correctly realign created beings and living creatures to be eternal life companions to an immortal, incorruptible Creator.  Justification with GOD is an expression of acceptance and approval through divine grace, and is not based on a percentage or statistics that describe a sinner’s obedience of sacred law.  The demands that result in fruitful relationship with divinity go beyond the obligations from the law described as good deeds and works, and that emerge from finite desire, intellect, imagination, logic, passion, or carnal reason.  Believers also must continually display inseparable aspects of spirit content from the makeup of GOD.  Included are faith, forbearance, holiness, hope, joy, lovingkindness, righteousness, and wisdom.  Many have condemned sacred law as “cursed”, because the frameworks for exposing and identifying “sin” did not also eliminate divine judgment, justify the living as godly and righteous, and shield the living from the perpetual wrath of GOD against sin.  While all divine law has been provided to enable recognition and rejection of sin, and did include statements describing consequences and effects of its disobedience/obedience (we say, sanctions), the law did not embody or operate like sin by opposing the continued existence of GOD and the created universe.  Jesus Christ would come as an incarnation of divinity who would die on the cross both to fulfill divine law, and to further reveal atonement and propitiation for mankind’s sin.  A fighter at “Yahoo! How many of Moses’s ten commandments have you personally broken?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.  For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:  That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.  And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.  (Romans 8:  1-10, King James Version, KJV)

STEVAN”, here are some ideas you may not find familiar, yet, should build up your thinking about the Ten Commandments:  The unseen precepts, principles, and spirit of the law are as important as the audible statement and wording of the law (it’s letter).  The law embodies divinity (is an Incarnation, an appearance of GOD using a familiar form).  To break one commandment from GOD is to break all the commandments.  This is because the law must be received as having internal coherence, harmony, integrity, sacred substance (we say, breath, spirit, word), and stability.  For mature Christian believers, the same principle of oneness without sameness that describes the existence of divine persons within the fullness of Deity (we say, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) is to be acknowledged when considering the sacred law expressing divine will that was imparted to mankind through Moses as covenant and inheritance.

Many lack sacred knowledge and indulge spiritual confusion when it comes to divine law.  They take up the law as an inorganic abstraction.  To provide academic explanations and secular instruction, the law becomes analyzed, “broken down” and compartmentalized  into specific judgments, ordinances, regulations, rules, and statutes.  Comparison (grouping things to show how they are alike), contrast (pairing things to show how they are different), and efforts to detail subtleties (i.e., barely visible differences; hidden and sudden shifts in meaning, quality, and value) introduce language and overlays that give the law a false appearance of complexity, contradiction, and incompleteness.  More than this, the person and active presence of divinity are denied.  By his insistence on carrying out the righteousness of the law, Jesus Christ reinforced the consciousness of law as personal and living.

The purposes and workings of the law pertain to judgment as the assigning of value, determining continuity and duration, resolving conflicts and settling disputes in accordance with divine order, and the endorsement of the makeup and substance of created beings and living creatures as being “justified”.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  Mark 12:  28-32, King James Version (KJV):  28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?  29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:  30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength:  this is the first commandment.  31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.  32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth:  for there is one God; and there is none other but he:

(2.)  Matthew 5:  18-20, KJV:  18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.  19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven:  but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.  20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

(3.)  Romans 13:  8-10, KJV:   Owe no man any thing, but to love one another:  for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.  9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour:  therefore love is the fulfilling of the law

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  James 2:  8-11, KJV:  8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:  9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.  10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.  11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST
Director Mel Gibson with Actor Jim Caviezel

Today, focus is on how Christian believers are to respond to recurring insults and persecution in Social Media.  In the same way the challenges for maintaining security for data and files shared over  the Internet have become a major obstacle to its use, the difficulty of enforcing online user agreements, continuing genuine etiquette, and maintaining standards of common decency now discourage many from using the forums provided by the World Wide Web.  For those who are born again through Jesus Christ, concerns about communication, disappointments, false accusers, mockers, and frustration when seeking to teach or share with others should be carried to the Lord.  Increasingly, there are those (called “trolls”) who express anger, bitterness, imbalance, irrational hostility, malice, venom, and vulgarity.  Even though their behavior may be seen as arrogant, cruel, hateful, and without compassion, because mockers are deceived, they often are sure they will be amusing to others, will be well thought of, and will become popular.  When not clearly asked for advice and counsel, rather than seeking to tell the mocker what he must do, the response of believers must be their own return to GOD, and intercession for those who are victims of callousness.  The peace for Christian believers to endure the abuse by trolls also is called being grounded in sacred knowledge, faith, joy, longsuffering, divine love, strength, and trust.  A writer at “Yahoo! Answers (New Zealand)” using the ID “JayNat” (Level 3 with 1,212 points, a member since March 01, 2017) posted the following:

What can be done to stop the “Romans sodomizing Jesus” questions once and for all?

I believe that initially just one person was asking that question. But now several trolls are continuing that trend.

Such questions are becoming more vulgarity and gross these days.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;  That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;  Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;  Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:  Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:  In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:  Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:  For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers:  all things were created by him, and for him:  And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.  And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.  (Colossians 1:  9-18, King James Version, KJV)

“JayNat”, our continuing need, even as mature Christians, is for peace (the strength) that allows us to endure.  Until sin is completely eliminated and erased there will be those proclaiming error, exaggerated pride, ignorance, and lust.  Before his death as well as through the apostles, Jesus instructed believers to expect insults, opposition, persecution from government and religious institutions, concealed thrusts against the doctrine, and efforts to kill his steadfast disciples and followers.  Many who repeatedly post accusations, blasphemy, insinuations, and slander against Jesus Christ, his Church, and the Holy Spirit do so because they are apostate, immature, simple (i.e., underdeveloped), and capable of showing respect only to things carnal, inanimate, material, and social.  They are sinners and blind to the sacred spirit content in events, other persons, the holy writings, and themselves.  That these offensive writers justify themselves, and are not justified by GOD, is evident, for even by obedience to divine law, no man is justified before Deity.  Despite appeals, shared instruction, and warnings, these sinners can not comprehend that they are hurting many others who are sensitive people by their disrespect and irreverence.  Some are now enslaved as minions of the Adversary whose awareness and self-will are dominated by the operations of sin that generate death, destruction, nonexistence, and return to the conditions that were in place before Creation.  The recourse granted believers is that we focus more completely and correctly upon Christ through contemplation, duty, fellowship with other believers, prayer, study, and unselfish service.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  John 16:  1-3, King James Version (KJV):  1 These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.  2 They shall put you out of the synagogues:  yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.  3 And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.

(2.)  Matthew 5:  10-12, KJV:  10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake:  for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.  11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.  12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad:  for great is your reward in heaven:  for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

(3.)  1st Timothy 4:  1-2, KJV:  1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;  2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

(4.)  2nd Timothy 3:  1-5, KJV:  1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,  3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;  5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  Galatians 5:  19-23, KJV:  19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,  20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,  21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like:  of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.  22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,  23 Meekness, temperance:  against such there is no law.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
