Today, the different generations are considered that appeared while GOD was creating the Covenant of Moses.  Along with the account of deliverance from Egypt, there also are important accounts of judgment against idolatry, lack of faith, and spiritual confusion.  Over a span of 40 years, various principles of divine ruling were quietly introduced that included requiring accountability and commitment in the expression of mature love, acknowledging collective responsibility (e.g., that an entire group may be held liable for the conduct of a single member), confession, the inheritance of spiritual promises in place of material goods, intercessory prayer, mercy, redemption, and discharging or fulfilling sacred obligation through a remnant.  GOD is revealed as the true source of all genuine inheritance for mankind.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Moses got lost in the desert for 40 years. Is it actually possible to lost for so long?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.  For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it?  Did ever people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as thou hast heard, and live?  Or hath God assayed to go and take him a nation from the midst of another nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?  Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him.  Out of heaven he made thee to hear his voice, that he might instruct thee:  and upon earth he shewed thee his great fire; and thou heardest his words out of the midst of the fire.  And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt;  To drive out nations from before thee greater and mightier than thou art, to bring thee in, to give thee their land for an inheritance, as it is this day.  Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath:  there is none else.  Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, for ever.  (Deuteronomy 4:  31-40, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Divine Law Expresses Love (05/10/2017); Kingdom and One-world Empire (09/08/2016); Slaves to Sin? (04/13/2015); Adam, Pharaoh and All Mankind? (01/28/2015); The Sheep Who Lost Their Way? (11/18/2014); Restoring The Lost? (11/19/2014); Face to Face Like Moses? (01/28/2014); Covenants and Relationships (01/29/2014)

“stevan”, GOD has been revealed as a deity who operates through law, judgment, and promise.  There are many points of sacred knowledge a person must have to correctly understand the account of GOD creating a new nation upon the earth by extracting a people from the populations of Egypt.  Only GOD the Creator can provide an inheritance to the offspring of Adam.  The twelve tribes of Jacob were interrelated, yet, were not “family” in the model of “one dad, one mom, and their kids” who all share within one dwelling place.  Egypt was a “one-world empire” that directly controlled the lives of its citizens, and influenced every aspect of life for those within every other existing nation.  During the years of extreme famine, in order to survive the Egyptian people willingly sold to Pharaoh their own livestock, property, and even themselves as slaves.  In the belief systems of Egypt, Pharaoh and the royal family became “gods”, and were the only persons who could be “heirs” within the economic system of their nation.  The Hebrews and other ethnic groups who had struggled to assimilate, copy, “fit in,” and be “accepted” by adopting the customs and practices of the Egyptians, would have to be separated and undergo an extended process of cleansing, growth, healing, and transformation.  Therefore, from the beginning of their exodus, those who would become the covenant people by acknowledging the divine “pass over” and leaving Egypt were a mixed multitude (we say, included Gentiles).

Throughout the Bible, a generation is a span of 40 years.  At the same time there was a generation who wandered (those aligned with Moses); there was a generation who transgressed, was judged, and saw the wrath of GOD (the “then known world” represented in Egypt and Pharaoh); a generation who violated an existing covenant (the 7 tribes living in Canaan); and a generation that would be heirs of the full set of divine promises begun in Adam, continued in Noah and amplified through Abraham.  Those who wandered were never “lost” in the sense of GOD being unable to find them; instead, it is that, they would not be taken directly and immediately into the land of inheritance that was promised to them.  As surely as GOD was always present in their midst through the Tabernacle, he guided their movements through the pillars of cloud and fire.  Because the number of men who would serve as the army of Israel was more than ½ million, the entire group of men women and children who left Egypt is estimated to have been some 3½ million.  From that number, only 2 men of the original group would stand upon their own property within the Promised Land.  Even the prophet Moses and Aaron the High Priest were both disqualified.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Exodus 12:  37-41, King James Version (KJV):  37 And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children.  38 And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.  39 And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual.  40 Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.  41 And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.

(2.)  Numbers 14:  22-24, KJV:  22 Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice;  23 Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:  24 But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Deuteronomy 7:  1-10, KJV:  1 When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;  2 And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:  3 Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.  4 For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods:  so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.  5 But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.  6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God:  the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.  7 The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:  8 But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.  9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;  10 And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them:  he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, focus is on the loving purpose and severity of divine law provided those who left Egypt with Moses.  The mixed multitude that followed Moses and Aaron numbered more than six hundred thousand whom GOD would use as a military force and an instrument of divine judgment; and the total of number of men, women and children together were as many as three and a half million who would be transformed to exist as a new nation.  Corruption, idolatry, and lawlessness were so widespread among the people that their survival required a comprehensive and detailed law from GOD that was to be obeyed as shared duty and mandatory, not as a matter of private opinion and personal preference.  The fighter at “Yahoo! 7 Answers (Australia)” using the ID “Hugo610i3” (Level 1 with 20 points, a member since August 18, 2016) posted the following:

Since god is love why does he treat jews in exodus very bad?

The children that curse die

women can get her hands cut off if they break up a fight betwen 2 males if they grab one by the balls

You can own slaves until 7 years, beat them, and have sex (a literally slave, its written in the bible, check it out) with no consent, if you have children with them after the 7 years and you free your slave, you can keep your child even if the slave wants it back.

You cant go to church if you dont private parts.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it.  Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.  For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for?  And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?  Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life:  but teach them thy sons, and thy sons’ sons;  Specially the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.  (Deuteronomy 4:  5-10, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Held Accountable by GOD? (03/31/2017); Kingdom and One-world Empire (09/08/2016); Slaves to Sin? (04/13/2015); Adam, Pharaoh and All Mankind? (01/28/2015); Divine Love Seen As Hate? (01/29/2015); A Hardened Spirit? (06/12/2014); Mary (06/13/2014)

“Hugo630i3”, the work of the law once was to continue intimate relationship with GOD, was redirected to enable mankind being in peace upon the earth, and now reinforces the salvation and transformation of created beings and living creatures who are unable to eliminate sin apart from divinity.  Through operations of the Holy Spirit on behalf of Jesus Christ, Christian believers experience rebirth and permanent change whereby they become able to correctly recognize and respond to divine law as both the love of GOD, and the express will of GOD.  Divine commandments and the word of GOD (we also say, life essence, spark of life, spirit) have been imparted to mankind from the first moments when GOD breathed sacred substance from the makeup of Deity into the form that had been fashioned as a vessel that could become a “living soul.”  Included are awareness, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, self-will, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  The purpose of what we now realize as “law” has always been to establish mankind in the same oneness without sameness that exists among the persons of the GODhead (we say, Father, Son, Holy Spirit).

Egypt represents spiritual confusion.  The twelve tribes of Jacob and the mixed multitude from various nations that left Egypt with Moses had been struggling to survive in a human cesspool, so to speak.  Egypt became an empire that controlled the “then known world” through the policies of the Pharaoh and its dominating influence over exchange, language, politics, religious belief, and trade.  During the years of famine, the Egyptian people and others had sold their land, property, themselves and their children to Pharaoh, who numbered himself among the gods and idols to be worshipped.  While the Hebrews remained free, and were despised as handlers of livestock, they nonetheless sought to assimilate (fit in) and be successful as if they were Egyptians also.

The calling out of the Hebrews is a display of the divine mercy that may only appear through consecrated judgment.  Rather than repeat the destruction of all mankind and the entire world as seen with the flood of Noah’s day, GOD chose the sons of Jacob to serve as an ark and vessel to preserve divine law, demonstrate salvation, and thereby express divine prerogative, saving grace, and sovereign will.  Those leaving Egypt were drawn by GOD in the same way as the animals and wild beasts that assembled in pairs to board the ship built by Noah and his sons, and like the animals of the earth, were to be in covenant relationship with GOD as a remnant.  Where those from Egypt can be regarded as the “clean” beasts, those from the seven tribes who, then, occupied the “promised land” as covenant partners to GOD may be thought of as the “unclean” who were to be replaced by those of the new, Mosaic covenant.  Consider the following from the Bible:

(1.)  Deuteronomy 7:  1-5, King James Version (KJV):  1 When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;  2 And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:  3 Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.

(2.)  Deuteronomy 7:  6-10, KJV:  6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God:  the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. 9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;  10 And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them:  he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.

(3.)  1st John 1:  3-10, KJV:  3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us:  and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.  4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.  5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.  6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:  7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.  8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  1st John 3:  7-11, KJV:  7 Little children, let no man deceive you:  he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.  8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.  9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him:  and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.  10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil:  whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.  11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

The Prophet Samuel Called from the Dead by the Witch at Endor

Today, focus is on obeying GOD, the fall of King Saul, and the sin of witchcraft.  All sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and the divine order that maintains Creation.  More than this, sin challenges the holiness and purity of divinity, and vilifies the name of GOD.  Counterfeits of sacred knowledge, divine operations, and prophecy can be fashioned and used to deceive, however, the finite self-will of sinners can not produce, put forth, or otherwise bestow existence, repentance, and resurrection from the dead.  King Saul, the first King of Israel, visited a witch at Endor asking her to call from the dead the spirit of the prophet, Samuel.  Like the first pair, Adam, magicians, mediums, spiritualist, witches, and wizards seek special knowledge and power without having to rely upon continuing in correct relationship with the Creator.  They assign value (we say, judge) incorrectly, assume authority presumptuously (i.e., arrogantly and without permission), and they intrude into, misapply, and trifle with the things of GOD.  The peculiar abilities and power they may display are not derived from GOD, and do not accomplish eternal purposes or provide the sacred gifts that give and support new life such as forgiveness, healing, hope, prophecy, and rebirth.  The writer at “Yahoo! Answers (Singapore) using the ID “Shadowfire” (Level 4 with 2,989 points, a member since January 08, 2015) posted the following:

Is it true the Bible says witches are supposed to get stoned?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.  Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy:  for I am the LORD your God.  And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them:  I am the LORD which sanctify you.  (Leviticus 20:  6-8, King James Version,  KJV)

“Shadowfire”, witchcraft centers on desire and lust for power using death and life essence (we say, breath, spirit, word).  GOD has revealed himself as a deity who operates using law and who executes judgment.  Covenant relationship with GOD established through the Ten Commandments and various other laws granted to Moses and the mixed multitude who accompanied him required exclusive devotion, obedience, and reverence to Jehovah.  Appealing to idols, occult figures, and supernatural influences had been practiced in Egypt.  During the time of famine there, Pharaoh purchased the land, their belongings, and the people themselves, and was eventually worshiped as a god.  Pharaoh enforced his authority using astrologers, magicians and those practicing “black arts” as well as by having an army equipped with the most advanced weaponry of the day (horse-drawn maneuverable chariots).  Christian believers are to maintain sacred practices (we say, sacraments) that acknowledge and display the active presence of divinity; and all are cautioned to discern (i.e., use the imparted, indwelling Spirit from GOD to recognize and respond correctly to) the spirit content within events, other people, the holy writings, themselves, etc.  Fallen angels, demons, deceiving spirits, and devils do exist; and while they no longer have lawful authority and power, many are still capable of making counterfeit displays and illusions that copy or imitate divine power.  In addition to making perverted and unintended applications of natural laws and materials provided by divinity for the fulfillment of sacred purposes, sorcerers (male witches) and female witches promote spiritual confusion by their efforts to gain knowledge of coming events, influence the outcome of events, and have control through enchantments, magic, and necromancy (i.e., seeking to communicate with the dead).  Consider the following:

(1.)  Deuteronomy 5:  8-10, King James Version (KJV):  8 Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:  9 Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them:  for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,  10 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.

(2.)  Deuteronomy 18:  9-11, KJV:  9 When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.  10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.  11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

(3.)  Exodus 22:  18-21, KJV:  18 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.  19 Whosoever lieth with a beast shall surely be put to death.  20 He that sacrificeth unto any god, save unto the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed.  21 Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him:  for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

(4.)  1st Samuel 15:  22-24, KJV:  22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.  23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.  24 And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned:  for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words:  because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  1st Samuel 28:  6-8, KJV:  6 And when Saul enquired of the LORD, the LORD answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets.  7 Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor.  8 And Saul disguised himself, and put on other raiment, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night:  and he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me him up, whom I shall name unto thee.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Why did god harden the pharaoh a heart?

Was he desperate for some spilt blood that day? Does he like killing more than saving?
Update : Noah’s ark suggests he does

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Upon his ruin shall all the fowls of the heaven remain, and all the beasts of the field shall be upon his branches:  To the end that none of all the trees by the waters exalt themselves for their height, neither shoot up their top among the thick boughs, neither their trees stand up in their height, all that drink water: for they are all delivered unto death, to the nether parts of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with them that go down to the pit.  Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when he went down to the grave I caused a mourning:  I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the floods thereof, and the great waters were stayed:  and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.  I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth.  They also went down into hell with him unto them that be slain with the sword; and they that were his arm, that dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the heathen.  To whom art thou thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? yet shalt thou be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the earth:  thou shalt lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.  (Ezekiel 31:  13-18, KJV)

“Oscar You re a grouch”, here are some points shared among Christian believers who use their own faith and other spirit content from GOD to examine the things recorded in the holy writings:

(1.)  Pharaoh was used by GOD as a tool to demonstrate to Israel and all mankind unseen aspects of the human condition, the nature of divinity, and the opposing presence of sin.  The tribes of Jacob were being entered into a process of permanent change, restoration, temptation (we say, challenge, testing, trial), and transformation.

(2.)  In addition to explanations and warnings through things that occurred in the very beginning of Creation, all were to be prepared and strengthened through sacred events (we say, miracles) and judgment (resolution of conflict and settlement of disputes through law) that would make visible and reveal their own true nature, the operations of sin as well as divine intent, sacred process, and eternal purpose .

(3.)  Just as GOD proclaimed his name (we say, his accomplishments, how he is to be known and spoken of, his reputation) to Moses the Deity is revealed to Pharaoh and all of Egypt as a sovereign ruler and judge.  Egypt existed as a one-world empire controlling or influencing the economy and lifestyle of every other nation.  Pharaoh had proclaimed himself a god; and was shown to be both an idol (an object having no divine content, yet, revered and worshiped), and an adversary of the true GOD.

(4.)  The figure of Pharaoh appears as a type used to present various major themes within Scripture.  In the same way Adam was to exercise dominion over all the earth that served as a seat of divine power (we say, throne), and the primary sphere of life for humanity, we repeatedly see all mankind and Satan striving to have authority, control, possession, and presence within the earth.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  Learning to repeat the ABC’s is not enough for a child to read and write.  You must learn to combine and recombine the individual letters, and master comprehension.  Similarly, the things of GOD for those who left Egypt, wandered in the wilderness, and entered into the Promised Land were all a preamble to the coming of Jesus, the establishment of salvation, and the bestowing of eternal life.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to the measure of your faith.

THE BATTLE AXE:  A Hardened Spirit? (06/12/2014)—(5.)  GOD did not change or “harden” the heart of Pharaoh so much as he permitted all to view the corruption of Pharaoh’s spirit content.  The enmity between GOD and Pharaoh that resulted because of sin was that of a created being denying the Creator, and insisting upon independence and self-will.  Pharaoh was chosen as an instrument for divine prophecy and sacred revelation whereby GOD would expose things from heaven using things in the earth.  Thus, the sin of Pharaoh, Egypt, and the Hebrews who sought to be a part of Egyptian society is more than a matter of character flaws, individual weaknesses, and defects in personality such as arrogance, blasphemy, defiance, and pride.  Pharaoh is a figure of Satan, and Egypt represents a belief system, a kingdom, and the entire earth opposing divinity and the kingdom of GOD in the form of an empire dominating and ruling the then known world.  Like Satan, Pharaoh refused to confess sin and repent, and refused to confess a need for guidance, instruction and wisdom from GOD.  The sin of Egypt appeared as idolatry, unbelief, witchcraft, and false worship.  Such sin also is a counterfeit of divine influence, and results in a false appearance of divine love being refused to those in need, and of the endowment of divinity being withdrawn.  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, of GOD as the lawgiver, and of all Creation generated and maintained through law.  Sin actually may alter patterns of consciousness, conduct, personality and character by controlling aspects of flesh and human functioning such as appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, sexual craving), sensation (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching), and emotion/mental operations (e.g., depression, fantasy, fear, recall, sorrow).  Yet, sin can not alter or control ones divine content, for the Spirit from the Almighty is immutable and unchanging.  See Exodus 5:  1-23, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.  And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.  And he came by the Spirit into the temple:  and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law,  Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,  Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:  For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,  Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;  A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.  And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him.  And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;  (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.  (Luke 2:  25-35, KJV)

THE BATTLE CRY:  Readers are encouraged to hear “Marvelous” sung by Walter Hawkins & the Love Center Choir.  This amazing gospel music selection features Bishop Hawkins, his brother Edwin, and a choir member, Patrick Sturgis.  Together, they create a crescendo that becomes more and more intense, and expresses a love to GOD that carries the listener higher and higher.  While celebration, rejoicing, and praise are often the most precious focus in music ministry—for our GOD inhabits praise—prophecy (i.e., to comfort, edify, and exhort) is never to be accounted as less than vital for continuing the Holy Spirit within the church body.  Conservative believers have often condemned this style of music, and complain that this form of ministry is too ecstatic, emotional, and even should be avoided as hysterical.  Nevertheless, rightly carried out, the important goal of lifting up praise is inseparable from that of building up and edifying the church.  By “Marvelous”, and through operations of the imparted Spirit, the hearts and minds of all are placed as it were upon an altar of sacrifice to become a pleasing fragrance carried before GOD.  “Marvelous” continues to be available as the second track within the 1998 Love Alive, Vol. 5:  25th Anniversary Reunion:  Vol. 1 & Vol. 2 [Original recording reissued, Live] and as an MP3 file from the February 10, 2009 Intersound album THE SINGING BISHOPS VOL 2.  On July 11, 2010, Bishop Walter Hawkins died of pancreatic cancer at the age of 61.  Honor to GOD.

“Watertribe”, here are a few points to consider that are usually shared among believers in Jesus :

(1.)  Mary is acknowledged as having served Almighty GOD by bearing, and giving birth to Jesus.  Even before she was conceived and born, divinity began to prepare Mary for her sacred work through operations of the Holy Spirit that purified and set Mary apart for divine service (we say, sanctified her).

(2.)  Where Mary is counted as only another believer who tarried in the upper room until Pentecost along with the apostles and disciples of Jesus, it still would be fitting to show respect to Mary as one of the first to receive the blessings of the Father, and the falling of the Holy Ghost.  Through further operations of the Holy Spirit, believers, today, are not fixed and limited by the frameworks of time and space, and so many admire and acknowledge Mary along with those of the early church.  All acknowledgment is not worship.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Respect to Mary as the Mother of GOD, the Queen of Heaven, or as a Perpetual Virgin is not based upon any commandments, doctrine, or displays of divinity that she herself has put forth.  Rather, it is by operation of the same Holy Spirit that appeared in Creation to form the earth and the heaven, and that was also in Jesus Christ.).  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought:  but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.  And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.  (Romans 8:  26-27, KJV)

Today, points are shared on judgment, divine revelation, the workings of sin as seen through the contrasts between Moses and Pharaoh, and Bible accounts of the ten plagues against Egypt.  Also, there is more on GOD, adultery, and fornication.  A “Yahoo! Why did Herod keep refusing to let Noah and the children of Israel leave Egypt even after the ten plaques ?

THE BATTLE AXE:  GOD and Adultery? (06/11/2014)—(5.)  Many want to criticize the teachings of the Bible on sexual relationships as too strict.  For example, our Savior, Jesus Christ, has taught that adultery and the many crimes against ones own flesh begin through desire that results in sin.  A person may become guilty of adultery by merely looking upon a man or woman with lust.  Silently indulging a sexual fantasy is the same as having engaged in intercourse with that person.  Those who seek a name and reputation for Christian innocence, righteousness and sexual purity are challenged to maintain virginity and integrity within marriage as clear demonstrations of divine discipline, and that their flesh and mind are ruled by an endowment of the same Holy Spirit that was in Jesus.  When awareness, imagination, reason, self-will, and careful thought become dominated by sin, ones knowledge of divine law and sacred truth are suppressed.  The spirit nature they display is that of an animal, and no longer shows forth the aspects of divine grace that are to indwell men and angels.   (6.)  Fornication (joining of spirits through sexual activity) is spoken of in Scripture as a sin against ones own body, because fornication results in subtle (barely visible differences, hidden shifts) and permanent changes in ones own spirit content, and that of each sexual partner.  Even where only two spirits are joined in holy matrimony, and a couple shares completing their virginity, the pair must experience inner conflict until ones inborn spirit is reconciled to the spirit from their spouse now being always present.  This reconciliation progresses smoothly where there is also the continuing presence the Spirit of GOD.  Where a couple has repeatedly engaged in casual sex, they are joined to spirits from persons they do not know, and with whom they may never have direct sexual contact.  Thus, where a male has had 10 partners (1 + 10), and a female has had eight partners (1 + 8), together they will contain multiple spirits (do the math), that may not be in agreement with their inborn spirit.  While some of the spirits introduced may improve, reinforce and strengthen the inborn spirit, the host risks an imbalance of 19 against 1.  (Suppose the 10 also each have had ten, and the 8 each have had eight…do the math.)  As surely as the fornicator may contract a sexually transmitted disease (STD), or encounter unwanted pregnancy, they may begin to display unfamiliar attitudes, desires, and impulses.  Depression, despair, fear, and an increased sense of loneliness may appear from “out of nowhere.”  As with disease and pregnancy, family, friends and others may become aware of change and strangeness in their behavior and conduct, before the fornicator can understand or realize a difference within themselves.  At first, ones spouse will only have a vague feeling that their mate is engaged in an extramarital affair.  Once jealousy (a divine spirit of accountability and commitment in relationship) has been stirred, the unsuspecting spouse will not rest until the attack against their marriage has been overturned, and their spouse has been vindicated.  Where a person repeatedly shares themselves with prostitutes or professional sex workers the number of joined spirits may be phenomenal.  The demoniac spoken of in the Bible called Legion, because he contained thousands of unclean spirits, may have welcomed and acquired them by fornication.  In a similar way, those committing rape, gang rape, and violate others by similar crimes expose themselves to total ruin, and practice self-destruction.  There is no medical cure or remedy for fornication.  Aggressiveness, hostility, pride, selfishness and violence will not cover, or hide spiritual confusion and infirmity. The chains and lasting spirit bonds made through fornication can only be broken and removed by experiences of divine presence, faith, and infusions of virtue from GOD.  See again Luke 6:  17-19, Luke 8:  26-30, Luke 15:  17-19, 1st Corinthians 6:  9-12 and 15-20, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,  Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baalzephon:  before it shall ye encamp by the sea.  For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in.  And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am the LORD.  And they did so.  And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled:  and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?  And he made ready his chariot, and took his people with him:  And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them.  And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel:  and the children of Israel went out with an high hand.  But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.  And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid:  and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD.  And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?  Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.  And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day:  for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.  The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.  (Exodus 14:  1-14, KJV)

“Sherry”, here are a few of the points Christian believers use to correctly understand Bible teachings about the nature of divinity as seen through the conflict between Moses and Pharaoh:

(1.)  The ten plagues are not merely punishments intended to destroy Pharaoh and the people of Egypt.  They are divine revelations through judgment (the resolution of conflict by applying the standards from divine law; the settlement of disputes through law), and are intended to supply many different sacred displays.  Included are authority, correction (indications of what one must do to avoid repeating error), encouragement to learn and grow (we may say, change), operations by the unseen Spirit of GOD, eternal purpose, power, sacred events (we say, miracles), truth, and warning.

(2.)  The language of the Bible is that Pharaoh’s heart was hardened; and many take this to mean his emotions and feelings became angry and negative.  Showing both differences and sameness for Pharaoh and Moses, GOD portrays the outcomes for the workings of sin among all created beings and living creatures—including the holy angels in heaven among whom sin was first discovered.  Without provisions from GOD, the living are unable to discern and recognize that sin is present, or to resist sin as something contrary to their own nature, foreign, and strange.

(3.)  The divine will has not created or generated sin, and is not subject to sin.  However, sin may dominate awareness and self-will in the created.  Sin cannot be eliminated as though it were made of physical or spirit material; and sin may not be removed by a single, act of destruction from GOD without also causing upheaval for order throughout the universe.  Like sacred law, the account of the ten plagues is intended to make sin known and visible, and clarify the operations of GOD for salvation.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  GOD does not cause Pharaoh to deny Moses by introducing or increasing a spirit of cruelty, hatred, hostility, and stubbornness.  Rather, GOD turns against Pharaoh by withdrawing himself (i.e., no longer supplying and supporting the divinity contained within Pharaoh).  Pharaoh was deprived of inseparable (where you find one, you have all) aspects of the same spirit that formed heaven and earth.  Included were faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, love, truthfulness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.).  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water:  he turneth it whithersoever he will.  (Proverbs 21:  1, KJV)

Accountability and sin for those used by GOD to condemn and crucify Jesus are the topic, today.  Also, there is more on mustard seed faith.  A writer at “Yahoo! Answers Canada” using the ID “Mr. Bodhisattva” (Level 6 with 15,778 points, a member since January 25, 2006) posted the following first asked at Yahoo Answers United States:

Did Caiaphas and/or Pilate sin in putting Jesus to death?

THE BATTLE AXE:  Mustard Seed Faith? (01/16/2014)—While various products of faith can appear that are in agreement with human desire and will (e.g., deliverance in battle and judgment, exorcism, healing), the authority and power of faith always must be in harmony with divine law and eternal purpose.  Like miracles, the existence and operation of faith is not intended to overturn divine order.  The moving of mountains and the “subduing of all things” must serve to accomplish the will of Almighty GOD.  The appearance of faith is a manifesting of divinity, and the ends of divinity are not those of the flesh.  To say, the just shall live by faith, is to assert that faith must be active and present in ones experience at all times.  Among believers, praise, prayer and the force of truth are three of the most effective mechanisms that make faith known and visible.  See Matthew 9:  20-22, Matthew 15:  22-28, Luke 17:  12-19, Galatians 5:  16-17, Hebrews 11:  3 and 6, James 5:  13-20, King James Version.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.  This title then read many of the Jews:  for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city:  and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin.  Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews.  Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.  (John 19:  19-22, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Adversary or Servant? (11/21/2013); How To Renew The Mind (11/22/2013); Hierarchy (11/14/2013); The Benefit of Law? (11/15/2013); Why Was A Son Sent? (09/30/2012)

“Mr. Bodhisattva”, you’ve posed a question that requires consideration of many subtle points (i.e., fine details; barely visible differences), and may only be completely and correctly answered through judgment that is rendered by GOD.  Because the question invites presumption, speculation and spiritual confusion, the query itself may be regarded as diabolical:  You ask about Caiaphas and Pilate, and do not mention Herod (all the blame is placed upon them, so to speak) suggesting that the reader is not also accountable; and you imply that the two you have named are independent actors, or individuals operating in their own integrity and self-will, rather than instruments and representations of conditions and forces that describe the human predicament and all mankind.

Caiaphas embodies all Israel (the Northern and Southern Kingdoms as well as everyone in Diaspora); and Pilate is the figure of Rome, an empire controlling and influencing all the then-known world.  The crucifixion of Jesus is more than a local or global event occurring in the earth; it is a sacred event that embraces all divine order, and the full universe of GOD.

Sin is the transgression of divine law, the expressed will of GOD.  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, of the law Giver, and of all Creation.  Sin is no material thing generated by GOD, and has no spirit content from GOD; yet, sin may dominate awareness and self-will in created beings and living creatures.  Sin thus appears as an artifact of separation from GOD to exist having unique being and person.  Sin has no dimensions (e.g., depth, height, size, weight) or physical form; however, sin is “visible” through attitudes, behavior and conduct among the living.  Despite human devices, intellect, logic and science, the influence and operations of sin cannot be eliminated.  Mankind resists sin only through endowments of divine will made available through the ministries of Jesus Christ.

There is far more to be said, properly shared, and spiritually understood.  (For example, Judgment is based also upon ones spirit content, not simply behavior and conduct.  GOD “hardened the heart” of Pharaoh (a figure of Satan), and used Egypt to reveal the divine sovereign power over mankind by repeatedly influencing the monarch to refuse the petitions of Moses.  Christian believers do not hold Pharaoh to be blameless or “innocent”; nor is GOD to be thought of as “at fault.”  Pharaoh was “chosen” on the basis of his peculiar nature as a person who sins, and who would given opportunity, in fact, enlarge and magnify his offenses.)

For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:  Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.  (Philippians 3:  20-21, KJV)
