Jesus Healing the Man Blind From Birth

Today, focus is on language in Scripture warning against presumption, exaggerated pride, and self-will.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers (India)” using the ID “Breakthrough” (Level 6 with 15,801 points, a member since June 29, 2013) posted the following:

Why does the bible say “you might say, my power and the strength of my hands have created this wealth for me.”?

That would imply that acquiring wealth requires a lot of sacrifice and hard work and it doesn’t come easily – even to the obedient who do what the bible says.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:  And call upon me in the day of trouble:  I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.  But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?  Seeing thou hatest instruction, and casteth my words behind thee.  When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.  Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.  Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother’s son.  These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself:  but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.  Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.  Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me:  and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.  (Psalms 50:  14-23, King James Version, KJV)

“Breakthrough”, using the holy writings men on the earth are being alerted to human error and exaggerated pride regarding divine truth.  Awareness and self-will in the living may be dominated by sin, a non-material, non-spirit influence that opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and the divine order through law that generates the universe.  Focus on oneself, carnal reason, emotions and sensations along with the complexities of social process (e.g., communication, exchange, interaction, sharing) make mankind incapable of seeing naturally that the true character and substance of sin is contrary and foreign to all existence and life.  In addition to failing to correctly discern the operations and outcomes of sin, created beings and living creatures (even those who are “believers”) may become “blind” to the active presence of divinity.  GOD is a spirit, and therefore must be known by the living through the action of spirit material within themselves that was passed on to us as breath and life essence (we say, spirit, word) deposited from the makeup of divinity at Creation.  Fresh endowments of spirit will be received by those who are “born again” that make GOD knowable, known, unforgettable, and “visible”.  Included are faith, forbearance, forgiveness, holiness, hope, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Consider again the following from the Scriptures:

(1.)  Judges 7:  1-4, King James Version (KJV):  1 Then Jerubbaal, who is Gideon, and all the people that were with him, rose up early, and pitched beside the well of Harod:  so that the host of the Midianites were on the north side of them, by the hill of Moreh, in the valley.  2 And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me.  3 Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand.  4 And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people are yet too many; bring them down unto the water, and I will try them for thee there:  and it shall be, that of whom I say unto thee, This shall go with thee, the same shall go with thee; and of whomsoever I say unto thee, This shall not go with thee, the same shall not go.

(2.)  Daniel 4:  30-33, KJV:  30 The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?  31 While the word was in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee.  32 And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field:  they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.  33 The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar:  and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles’ feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws.

(3.)  John 9:  39-41, KJV:  39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.  40 And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?  41 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin:  but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  2nd Corinthians 4:  3-7, KJV:  3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:  4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.  5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.  6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.  7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, focus is on the benign limits upon mankind from relationships with the Creator.  It is not a matter of “choice” for the living to exist before divinity, for their essential being has presence on the basis of divine purposes, and sacred operations that determine duration, value, and worth.  The initial contracts between parents and their children can not be based upon desire, preference, and self-will of the infant.  Similarly, just as babies are dependent upon their parents who must shape their behavior to conform with practices and standards within the home, both believers and sinners must rely upon divinity for the order and structure necessary for life.  At no time while a child is dependent are the parents abusing, “brain-washing”, or torturing their own offspring by establishing clear boundaries and choosing opportunities on their behalf.  At no time is GOD to be regarded as a bully, a despot, or tyrannical ruler where only he continually provides and supplies the elements for peace, safety, security, and eternal life.  One of the fighters at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

If we are given the choice to serve God or not, why is it wrong not to serve Him?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And further, by these, my son, be admonished:  of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.  Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments:  for this is the whole duty of man.  For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.  (Ecclesiastes 12:  12-14, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Birth, Self-will and Sin? (11/13/2016); Eternal Life From GOD (10/24/2016); Guided By Divine Truth (06/20/2016); All Sin Is Willful? (10/20/2015);  Finite Will, Self-will and Sin? 06/01/2015); Relating to GOD? (11/05/2013); Does Satan Know? (11/06/2013)

“Anonymous”, correctly understood, being in personal relationship with divinity entails duty, obligation, and reverence more than choice, pleasing oneself, or acting upon ones own desires and self-will.  The authority, glory, ownership, and sovereignty of GOD are absolute and supreme.  To our Creator and Maker, we are like babies who—whether they know it or not; like it or not; understand it or not—must become toilet trained and learn obedience, or puppies that must be house broken and become responsive to a leash.  As with every little one, for both believers and sinners, forbearance, forgiveness, longsuffering, patience, mercy, and restraint must be exercised; and GOD is first revealed and made known through those things, rather than covenants, doctrine, and preaching.  Even so, mankind is being trained to develop and grow in agreement with divine law, and according to fixed and predetermined patterns that allow life experiences upon the earth that will prepare the living to permanently exist in the presence of GOD.  Mortality will be ended, and the frameworks of time and space also must be suspended, or even, eliminated.  Those who think they are existing in a world created by “accident” and “evolution”, are operating under the influence of sin that can defile, deceive, pollute and dominate awareness and self-will in created beings and living creatures.  Without a fresh endowment of spirit content from the makeup of GOD (e.g., faith, gratitude, holiness, humility, meekness, wisdom, wrath against sin), sinners do not achieve sacred knowledge, and so continue to behave displaying delusion, disbelief, error, exaggerated pride, immaturity, and presumption.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  1st Corinthians 3:  16-20, King James Version (KJV):  16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?  17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.  18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.  19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.  20 And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

(2.)  Numbers 15:  29-31, KJV:  29 Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.  30 But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.  31 Because he hath despised the word of the LORD, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.

(3.)  Romans 12:  1-3, KJV:  1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.  2 And be not conformed to this world:  but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.  3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Psalms 19:  12-14, KJV:  12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.  13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me:  then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.  14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, acquiring sacred knowledge, Incarnation (i.e., the conception of Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit are topics.  For things residing within the heart and mind (we say, consciousness) of GOD the Father to have discrete or separate existence as created beings, living creatures, physical objects, and temporal process they must be given dimension, form and presence through the Son who is Word as well as duration, permanence, spirit substance (we say, breath, life) and visibility through the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit was the agent of Creation who acted to fulfill the shared eternal purposes that put forth the heaven, the earth, and the material universe.  His ability to manifest divinity is unlimited, yet, his agenda and objectives always appear as from the Father, the Son, or the two in accord.  The many important sacred events and works by the Holy Spirit include establishing the firmament with multiple spheres for life, the birth of Jesus Christ, that Christ should embody sin in the flesh and die upon the cross, the Savior’s resurrection, the birth of the church on the day of Pentecost, rebirth and repentance by sinners, and the ongoing provision of spiritual gifts as a primary witness to the ministry of Christ.  The problem for mankind with exploring the unknown, and seeking sacred knowledge beyond what GOD already has revealed, is that human research and studies almost always also entail concentrating upon assumptions that are in error, embracing and endorsing the forbidden, exaggerating pride, and practicing presumption (attempting to exercise godly authority without divine license and permission).  The fighter at “Yahoo! If God can impregnate a virgin does this mean that the Holy Spirit can do absolutely anything?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God:  and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.  By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.  For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.  For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world:  and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.  Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?  This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.  For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost:  and these three are one.  And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood:  and these three agree in one.  If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater:  for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.  He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself:  he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.  (1st John 5:  1-10, King James Version, KJV)

“Breakthrough”, the clearest, most useful information available to mankind regarding the Holy Spirit has been collected and preserved over the course of thousands of years, and is now available as the Bible.  The holy writings do not encourage asking questions about GOD, preexistence, and the many events before the creation of mankind, because they foster emotions and thinking that are disconnected, are inconsistent with revelation, and that promote spiritual confusion.  Even so, some things do appear from GOD that are intended as necessary sacred knowledge.  Mature Christian believers trust that the Holy Spirit exists within the oneness without sameness that is full divinity (we say, the GODhead).  The Holy Spirit (also called the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth) shares the same character, nature, makeup, and eternal purpose that is emanated from the Father and manifest as the Son.  Included are inseparable aspects of Deity such as authority, existence, holiness, life, personness, power, presence, and sovereign will.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  Deuteronomy 29:  29, King James Version (KJV):  29 The secret things belong unto the LORD our God:  but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

(2.)  Genesis 1:  1-3, King James Version (KJV):  1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.  3 And God said, Let there be light:  and there was light.

(3.)  Romans 1:  16-22, KJV:  16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ:  for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.  17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith:  as it is written, The just shall live by faith.  18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;  19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.  20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:  21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended, here.  For example, (4.)  Colossians 2:  6-10, KJV:  6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:  7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.  8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.  9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.  10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, Scripture points are shared on grace, liberty, worldly pleasures, and youth.  Many Christian young people “flirt with disaster,” because they presumptuously believe they have permission to do so from GOD in the Scriptures.  They frequently misapply the words of an apostle (1st Corinthians 9:  19-23, King James Version, KJV:  19 For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.  20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;  21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.  22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak:  I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.).  Paul’s words are properly understood only in the light of other revelation (Hebrews 2:  9-11, KJV:  9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.  10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.  11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one:  for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,).  Youth tend to overlook that latitude granted to the apostle was consistent with his accountability, duty, and incarnation of Christ.  Being in the world, yet, not of it, many young people become convinced that they are to “blend in,” and conform to popular culture and standards from those who disbelieve.  More correctly, they are to yield their independence, and allow the agreement and oneness of their own will with that of Deity to become clearly seen and understood by others.  Once youth acquire balance, sobriety, and spiritual discernment, they realize that, only on the surface are things in the world in line with the legitimate aspects of life and goals for youth that include exploration, growing, learning, and overcoming fear as well as success through risk-taking and by trial-and-error.  Leadership from young people “mellows” as they become older, and more mature.  As they “ripen” they become those who are genuinely consistent, a strong example to others, reliable, selfless, stable and thoughtful, the standard-bearers who maintain godly order and process within the community of faith.  One of the many fighters at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

Should we ever sometimes enjoy worldly excess in order to make a grace statement?

I’ve sometimes done that, with smoking, drinking, gambling, some partying having fun. I felt that it is my liberty though I be a Christian.

1Co_10:23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

I believe we come into a certain priviledge of liberty when we are born again that others don’t qualify for.
What do you think?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,  Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof:  from such turn away.  For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.  (2nd Timothy 3:  1-7, King James Version, KJV)

“Anonymous”, there’s good news, and bad news.  Your question is posed and answered in the holy writings; however, it expresses simplicity (i.e., ignorance, immaturity, underdevelopment, and antichrist sentiment).  All are not anointed and endowed to operate with the same privilege and process displayed by the apostle, who also calls himself “the prisoner of the Lord.”  The works of the flesh all are so grounded in deceit that they do not appear contrary to the character, nature, and substance of divinity.  Thus, what sinners must overcome includes complacency, excuse-making, indifference, peer pressure, pride, rashness, exaggerated self-approval, and self-indulgence.  In the same way, usually only the adults in a community correctly insist upon meeting the demands of law as a standard for daily living, and restraint as a high expression of love (where young people are far less exacting), every mature believer must acknowledge the indispensable guidance declared through sacred law, and completely reject the attitudes, behavior, and pattern that says, I’m right when I’m wrong “because…”.  Consider again how this is stated using language from the Bible:

(1.)  Romans 6:  1-7, King James Version (KJV):  1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?  2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?  3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?  4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death:  that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.  5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:  6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.  7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

(2.)  Romans 6:  8-15, KJV:  8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:  9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.  10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once:  but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.  11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.  12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.  13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin:  but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.  14 For sin shall not have dominion over you:  for ye are not under the law, but under grace.  15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

There is far more to be said, carefully examined, and spiritually understood.  (For example, (3.)  Galatians 5:  13-21, KJV:  13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.  14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.  16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.  17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh:  and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.  18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.  19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,  20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,  21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like:  of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Distinctions among meddling, obedience, presumption, and pride are in view, today.  Ignorance of divine law is not a justification for wrongdoing.  “Good intentions” do not erase disregard for blessing from GOD that can include inheritance, law, prosperity, a role in service, and privilege to worship.  The death upon the cross and living ministry of Jesus Christ was no more a condemnation and denial of governing law, than the reign of David from the tribe of Judah as King and Prophet to Israel.  In addition to becoming an example of those who forget GOD, deny the sanctions in place against sin through divine law, and show no heartfelt respect to Deity, the death of Uzzah, who reached out to steady the Ark of Covenant when he thought it would fall from a cart, prefigures the death of Jesus upon the cross, the second death through final judgment against the wicked, and the full range of consequences for failure to trust GOD to maintain the things that manifest divinity including his law, the express will of GOD.  A fighter at “Yahoo! If God killed someone for trying to help, does that mean we are supposed to kill missionaires?

(2 Samuel 6:6-7) And when they came to Nachon’s threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it. And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God.

All this guy wanted to do was help The Lord, and God ended his life. Does that mean the next time a Christian knocks on my door trying to “Help The Lord” that I get to end their life. Isn’t Christianity great?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men:  And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:  And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them:  wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?  And when Moses heard it, he fell upon his face:  And he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow the LORD will shew who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him:  even him whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him.  This do; Take you censers, Korah, and all his company;  And put fire therein, and put incense in them before the LORD to morrow:  and it shall be that the man whom the LORD doth choose, he shall be holy:  ye take too much upon you, ye sons of Levi.  And Moses said unto Korah, Hear, I pray you, ye sons of Levi:  Seemeth it but a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them?  And he hath brought thee near to him, and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee:  and seek ye the priesthood also?  For which cause both thou and all thy company are gathered together against the LORD: and what is Aaron, that ye murmur against him?  (Numbers 16:  1-11, KJV)

“Henry”, the GOD we serve is a Deity who practices vengeance (we say, judgment, justice).  That divinity would have to appear in human form (we say, Incarnation) to embody sin, and be destroyed upon the cross is taken to be a stern warning by many Christian believers to approach the things of GOD with balance, caution, and sobriety.  While many followers of Christ trust that, through operations of the Holy Spirit, blood, correction, and truth from the cross are flowing to here and now, they also seek to be careful not to rely upon secular assumptions about divine teachings, or “jump to conclusions” that are not anchored in sacred knowledge and practice (we say, sacraments).

In the same way the expulsion of Adam (the pair) from Eden and the crucifixion of Jesus Christ both must be acknowledged as demonstrations of divine wrath against sin, the “breach” upon Uzzah is to be understood as a revelation of the character, nature and substance of Deity expressed as law, covenant relationship, trust, and divine love.  In his anointing by the prophet Samuel, David appropriated to himself more than simply authorization to serve as king over Israel.  David, who calls GOD “father” in the holy writings, also understood his appointment to include that of Judge, High Priest, and Prophet who had authority to command the Levitical priests, schedule their service, and establish liturgy for the tabernacle and temple that would follow.

The Ark of the Covenant was not to be touched by human hands.  A death penalty was in place from the time of the wandering of Israel in the wilderness.  The Ark was to be lifted and carried only by using poles.  When the sons of the High Priest Eli came under the curse of GOD, as did King Saul, the Ark was captured by the Philistines.  When David saw an opportunity to bring the counsel of GOD to himself at Zion as represented through the Ark and the regalia of the High Priest (the ephod, Urim and Thummim), the Ark was placed upon a new cart pulled by oxen that had never been yoked.

Believers often commit the sins of presumption and pride that may appear as “harmless”, “innocent”, and their way of being themselves.  It is partly for this reason that divine forgiveness, mercy in judgment, and the ministry of reconciliation are provided to mankind through the cross.  Consider how some of this appears stated in the language of the Bible:

(1.)  Deuteronomy 17:  11-13, King James Version (KJV):  11 According to the sentence of the law which they shall teach thee, and according to the judgment which they shall tell thee, thou shalt do:  thou shalt not decline from the sentence which they shall shew thee, to the right hand, nor to the left.  12 And the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before the LORD thy God, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel.  13 And all the people shall hear, and fear, and do no more presumptuously.

(2.)  Psalms 19:  12-14, KJV:  12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.  13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me:  then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.  14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

(3.)  2nd Corinthians 5:  17-21, KJV:  17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:  old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.  18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;  19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.  20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us:  we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.  21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

There is far more that could be said, must be carefully examined, and spiritually understood.  (For example, (4.)  Hebrews 10:  28-30, KJV:  28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:  29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?  30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, reply is made to a familiar challenge that a person approve/disapprove of how GOD has responded to Adam, Satan, and sin.  The true people of GOD are to deal with divine law, operations of divinity, and sacred principles, rather than cultural fabrications, individual desires, personal opinions, and worldly traditions.  Their heart (i.e., breath, life essence, spirit) must engage the sacred heart of GOD.  By insisting that academic presentations and secular reasoning have the same or greater value than the holy writings, many continue in darkness, error, and spiritual confusion.  Consider again the following from the Bible, and the comments appearing below:  Isaiah 29:  16, King James Version (KJV):  16 Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter’s clay:  for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?  Also,  Matthew 15:  7-9, KJV:  7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,  8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.  9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.  Ezekiel 33:  31-33, KJV:  31 And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them:  for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.  32 And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument:  for they hear thy words, but they do them not.  33 And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Does god’s way of dealing with the rebellion and sin of Satan, Adam and Eve bother you? and how would you deal with them if you were god?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Then answered the LORD unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said,  Gird up thy loins now like a man:  I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.  Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?  Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?  Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty.  Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath:  and behold every one that is proud, and abase him.  Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.  Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret.  Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee.  (Job 40: 6-14, KJV)

“drummer man”, for mature Christian believers your question draws (we say, entices, seduces, tempts) others into thinking of themselves in a way that insults divinity.  The operations of presumption, pride and sin oppose the continued existence of divine law, of the divine Law Giver, and of the universe maintained through sacred law.  While sin is no thing created by GOD and contains no sacred matter (as does the living), sin may dominate awareness and self-will in created beings and living creatures.  The thought “if I were god” is forbidden in the sense that ones awareness and self-will are not to be turned away from acknowledging, reverencing, and serving GOD toward any exercise of authority, independence, and privilege that has not been granted by the Father through the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Even so, it is correct for believers to carefully examine the many facets of the accounts that come to us as sacred knowledge.

Correctly understood, the record of Creation, the fall of Adam, and the full range of holy writings must be seen as features within a closed system for consciousness of GOD that derive from operations of spirit, rather than operations of intellect, logic, philosophy, or science.  The holy writings provide a divine point of view, so to speak, showing the operations of divinity using thousands of events and thousands of lives over the course of thousands of years.  In the same way none may know and understand divinity as revealed through Jesus Christ without operations by GOD through spirit, none may assign value, criticize, or evaluate the process of Deity (we say, judge GOD), even when they have spirit and sacred truth.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  Human error characterizes our judgment; thus, many important points are overlooked as we consider the human predicament.  For example, (1) the single name “Adam” was used by the GODhead for both the male and female who existed as a single person; (2) there are multiple operations of GOD to reveal the character and nature of divinity to the living, and to proclaim divine sovereignty; (3) Adam and all living upon the earth are used as figures to correct and guide those of heaven; (4) divine law, judgment, and the figure of Satan are used to correct and guide the living both upon the earth and in heaven; and (5) as with the elimination of chaos and flux that appeared before heaven and earth were established, the elimination of sin requires permanent change that pertains to the entire universe, not merely to angels and mankind.

Given that many points in our routine conversations and exchanges are taken to be facts and proven truth that, in actuality, are assumptions relied upon in order to advance various considerations, correct acceptance of the holy writings demand balance, completeness, consistency, focus, maturity, and stability that only come by operation of the same Spirit that was at work in Creation.  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Fornication, iniquity, presumption and self-will are in focus, today.  Many of the things accomplished by divinity, provided to mankind, and required of Christian believers have been introduced, not because there was acceptance and understanding of the gifts from GOD, rather, because there was not.  Doctrine and sacred law have been given, and inseparable aspects of the divine makeup have been imparted that have not eliminated sin, yet, makes it more possible to correctly recognize and completely resist sin.  Sin is contrary to the divine nature within the living, yet, continues to appear as natural and normal until challenged through the operations of GOD.  Consider again the following from the Bible, and the points appearing below:  Proverbs 20:  9, King James Version (KJV):  9 Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?  Also 1st John 1:  8, KJV:  8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  Through the Spirit of Christ, mankind is now privileged to acknowledge salvation by his victories over antichrist spirits, death, bad habits, ignorance of divinity, and all manner of unrighteousness:  1st John 4:  4, KJV:  4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them:  because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.  A  writer at “Yahoo! What exactly makes a sin willful? Isn’t every sin willful?

Update: Can we be forgiven for it?

Update 2: The reason is because i have willfully sinned many times (sexual sin) and I was wondering if god doesn’t want to forgive me anymore, I feel as if I don’t have a connection with him anymore, I feel empty inside.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot?  God forbid.  What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.  But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.  Flee fornication.  Every sin that a man doeth is without the  body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.  What? know ye not that the body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?  For ye are bought with a price:  therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.  (1st Corinthians 6:  15-20, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  The Mistakes In Youth? (08/24/2015); Guilt and Ignorance? (12/04/2014); Some People Are Just Bad? (08/24/2014); Sermons About Good Sex? (08/25/2014); Joined To Christ Through Faith (12/05/2014); We Are Still Sinning? (11/30/2013); Like a Thief? (12/01/2014)

“Jim”, perhaps your pastor or one of the mature believers close to you may better serve you, and share with you the personal counseling you seem to be in need of.  Meanwhile, I can share these points:  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and all divine order generated and maintained through law.  Deliberate and persistent sin is called iniquity (i.e., imbalance; inequality in and violation of covenant) and presumption (i.e., exercising authority that lawfully belongs to another; taking someone’s place without their permission; identity theft). When one sins through ignorance of the law or lack of knowledge regarding sacred customs and practices, they may be forgiven, yet, the blood of atonement still must be applied for their right-standing with GOD to be restored.  While sin has not been created by divinity, is no material thing or object having spirit matter, sin may dominate awareness and self-will within created beings and living creatures.  Through sin, separation from GOD intended for independence and integrity of being becomes exaggerated and distorted to appear as enmity, rebellion, and self-destruction.  In sexual joining, a person risks fornication, where their own spirit is defiled by being joined through their sexual partner to spirits of others who are not physically present.  Depression, inner conflict among multiple spirits, and self-contradiction may appear as well as uncharacteristic attitudes, behavior and conduct.  Here are some points to consider that may help you avoid further error and spiritual confusion:

(1.)  Numbers 25:  29-31, King James Version (KJV):  29 Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.  30 But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the LORD:  and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.  31 Because he hat despised the word of the LORD, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.

(2.)  Proverbs 24:  9, KJV:  9 The thought of foolishness is sin:  and a scorner is an abomination to men.

(3.)  Proverbs 28:  13, KJV:  13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper:  but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Proverbs 25:  28, KJV:  28 He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
