Proper reading of a Scripture verse often identified as being from sacred “wisdom literature” is in focus, today.  Also, there is more on why prayer may not be enough.   The “Yahoo! Answers” writer using ID “Jack Xi Jin” (Level 1 with 18 points, a member since may 14, 2013) posted the following:

What is the meaning of Ecclesiastes 11:3?

deeper meaning?

THE BATTLE AXE:  Prayer not Enough? (07/12/2013)— (4)  In the same way the absence or presence of faith is not to depend upon a person regularly hearing or seeing miracles, ones belief and trust in GOD is not to depend upon the evidence of answered or unanswered prayer.  Faith permits certainty and knowing based upon a person’s inner content being influenced by and interacting with divine spirit matter.  (5)  Until believers mature to higher levels of faith and submission to GOD, they will continue to engage ambitions, desires and hopes generated from material, physical and social objects.  While GOD has authority and power to grant all that we might ask in prayer, all things we may ask are not expedient for our service as covenant partners, examples, leaders, priests and the righteous offspring of GOD.  Nor do all things further our complete transformation into those glorified, justified, immortal, incorruptible, redeemed, and sanctified.  (6)  In addition to confession of sin, confession of need and declarations of forgiveness are aspects of effectual prayer.  Given that prayer is to be a further demonstration of humility, love and unselfishness the better content is what we give and release to GOD.  Included are acknowledgment, glory, gratitude, honor, praise, and worship.  It remains that the prayers of believers are most correct, and in greatest harmony with GOD—not when pursuing a private agenda or personal affairs—when asking for divine judgment; fulfillment of sacred proclamations, promises, and prophecies; outpourings of divine spirit; repentance; salvation; and the fulfillment of eternal purpose.  See Psalm 80:  3-7, Philippians 4:  5-7, 1st Corinthians 10:  22-24 and Romans 8:  26-30, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:  The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God:  for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.  Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.  The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth:  so is every one that is born of the Spirit.  Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?  Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?  Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.  If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?  (John 3:  1-12, KJV)

“Jack Xi Jin”, many serious believers in Christ would first caution you not to separate passages and verses that form a paragraph of the Scriptures.  The message immediately becomes distorted and warped when taken out of context.  The full context includes New Testament writings (see John 3, KJV).  Even so, here are some points to consider that should help you to avoid spiritual confusion:

(1)  The verse states that there are finite conditions, natural limitations (we say, laws), and peculiar sequences of events within the material sphere that holds created beings and living creatures.

(2)  With verses 1-5, the following verse (# 4) goes on to assert that a person’s focus upon aspects of the material sphere does not  produce knowledge of divinity and right relationship to the Creator any more than research and study (we say, meteorology, and science) of the wind produces authority over and control of the weather.

(3)  Mankind is encouraged to apply information, make measured choices, and pursue meaningful goals despite lacking total knowledge of the human environment, and despite not having a perfect knowledge of GOD.  Thus, unstated elements come into view that include confidence, faith, holy boldness, risk-taking, and trust.

As with all Scripture, there is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example,  (4)  Just as obtaining right knowledge of material reality often requires a person to take action, have contact, immerse themselves, participate in events and then wait, acquiring right relationship to GOD as Creator, Judge, redeemer, and Savior demands peculiar operations and responses through the ministry of Jesus Christ that appear to go forward or come into view only after extended periods of waiting.  Much of what believers receive (baptism, church attendance, study of the Bible, etc.) is to enable and enrich ones wait.)   Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Understanding conversion and forgiveness are the focus, today, along with more on divine judgment against Jericho.  A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “Matt” (Level 1 with 1 point, a member since July 29, 2011) posted the following:
So theoretically I could go on a killing spree and still end up in heaven?
Do I understand this correctly? I could theoretically go on a killing spree in a children’s hospital killing by the dozens. And just before the moment I die I “accept” Jesus into my heart I will still go to heaven? That’s f****d up.
THE BATTLE AXE:  Jericho Justified? (07/02/2013)—  (5)  The fighting forces of Israel were not established as a conquering army after the models of Alexander the Great, Babylon, Persia or Rome.  Just as in America today, lawful evictions are carried out by the United States Marshal and his deputies, and the Executioner continues to serve as a legitimate officer of our courts, Israel was to be an instrument of GOD in judgment to effect the transfer of real property, and to carry out as executioner the destruction of incorrigible sinners who were persisting in defiance and rebellion against GOD.  Without the sacred devices and mechanisms provided from GOD (e.g., awe, conscience, discernment, divine law, humility), Created beings and living creatures are incapable of correctly identifying, resisting or eliminating sin.  They fail to grasp that even the most innocent-looking crimes against GOD (such as building a tower at Babel) have cosmic consequences, and send ripples of conflict, death and decay throughout the fullness of Creation.  There is no such thing as harmless sin, sin that has no destructive impact, that does not oppose the continued existence of GOD, and that does not spread impotence and infirmity among created beings.  (6)  Divine condemnation and destruction for the lives of men, women, children, and animals (all living) occur as non-negotiable and unchanging sacred events necessary for balance, completeness, purity and stability of Creation that are governed by divine law, operations of Spirit, and eternal purpose.  Those who charge GOD with cruelty, genocide, and indifference to human suffering usually are themselves unaware, and incapable of establishing and maintaining the full array of responsibilities that pertain to judgment.  Included are calculating negligence, correction, indictment, investigation, justice, justification, reconciliation, resolution, restoration and sentencing.  In their anger, bitterness, confusion, defiance, and fear such critics are biased and perverse in judging GOD, and they deny divine accountability for maintenance of all that is.  See Exodus 15:  25-26, Deuteronomy 7:  14-16, 1st Corinthians 15:  50-57, 2nd Timothy 3:  1-5 and Romans 6:  12-14, King James Version.
THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.  For scarcely for a righteous man will one die:  yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.  For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.  And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.  (Romans 5:  6-11, KJV)

Matt, here are some points that may help you understand Christian belief more correctly:
(1)  The operations of GOD described as divine judgment are profound, and go beyond simple condemnation and punishment of created beings and living creatures for disobedience of sacred law.  Judgment pertains to the eternal existence of divinity, and further allows the living to access, discover and recognize the otherwise invisible presence and process of divine substance.  The make-up of GOD is spirit matter that is made known as spiritual consciousness.  Included are faith, forgiveness, holiness, joy, longsuffering, love, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.
(2)  Through the ministry of Jesus Christ, a believer comes into a new existence before GOD through what may seem like an instantaneous change.  However, that sacred event occurs on the basis of continuous work that began before Creation.  In the same way mankind had no active part or choice in Creation, mankind may only respond to redemption and salvation.
(3)  Conversion as an intellectual choice or mental operation rarely happens upon one’s death-bed, in the final seconds before collision of two automobiles, or in the moments police are firing to subdue a gunman.  Many lose their composure by the approach and nearness of death; their feelings and thoughts are caught up in confusion and upheaval.  Repentance, rebirth, and declaration of Christ are only through the operation of the imparted, indwelling spirit of GOD (we say, the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, the Spirit of Prophecy), for the judgment is an acknowledgment of the unchanging aspects within being and person.
There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example,  (4)  That the unchanging Sovereign over life would embrace mankind through gradual change (we say, growth), compassion, mercy, and possibility is far from “f****d up”.   Almighty GOD, who has put forth life, draws life to himself, rather than death.  By applying and displaying humility, maturity, respect, and their own divine content, believers achieve a closer relationship, a greater understanding, and a more intimate experience of His amazing grace.)   Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Excitement and the value of the church are topics, today.  Also, there is more on the possibilities and salvation of atheists.  A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “Ricky” (Level 1 with 163 points, a member since June 5, 2013) posted the following:

Church is good right? why is church good?

Lots of people are there right; why is church exciting?
what is your answer’s? thanks

THE BATTLE AXE:  Salvation for Atheists? (06/14/2013)—Baptism depicts and shows how one dies to sin, and is re-born having the Holy Spirit (we may say, reproduced from divine DNA).  The believer receives sacred substance from the make-up and person of Almighty GOD that includes faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, truth, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  The spirit content from GOD that also is in Christ is what qualifies a believer for heaven.  Many will accomplish things that are commendable, important, and memorable by human standards, and will still not be in fellowship with Christ or the Father.  Salvation and eternal life for believers are not provided on the basis of ones knowledge of the doctrines, holy writings, observances, practices, sacraments and teachings of the church.  At the Second Coming, when Christ will harvest the earth to receive all those who are in communion as his redeemed and his saved, the persons lifted and transformed to be immortal and incorruptible will already have been identified as those who contain endowments of divinity that govern operation of their inner being and self-will.  (See Mark 16:  9-16, Romans 6:  3-18, John 3:  6-8 and 1st Peter 1:  18-25, King James Version)

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,  Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,  That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;  That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,  May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;  And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.  Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,  Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end.  Amen.  (Ephesians 3:  14-21, King James Version)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  The Church as a Bride? (05/15/2013); How Do I Repent? (05/16/2013); Church Mandatory? (05/06/2013); A GOD of Love? (05/07/2013); A Spirit Church? (11/23/2012); Attending Church? (11/12/2012); A Holy Kiss? (11/13/2012)

Ricky, here are some points most genuine Christian believers continue to endorse as useful:

(1)  Church attendance and participation in a sacred community are intended to lend order and structure for growth in ones measure of the spirit of Christ that is deposited by GOD upon their receiving the Gospel.  As a human institution that is part of the world (the man-made system for exchange and survival) the church is carnal, material, and social in its nature.  However, as an institution identified through divinity and spirit content the church is correctly described as immortal, incorruptible, and invisible.

(2)  While GOD is described as immutable and unchanging, human awareness is characterized by instability, lapses in focus, and shifts of attention.  Even where there has been careful learning, practice and strict training, many are easily drawn away by curiosity, diversity and novelty.  Mankind may innocently digress or forget; and self-will in created beings and living creatures may still respond to the non-material, non-spirit influence of sin.

(3)  While fellowship within a local congregation does not replace ones individual and private experience with GOD through prayer and worship, assembly and association are necessary for developing discernment of holy substance, and ones ability to recognize the active presence of GOD within others and throughout Creation.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4)  Salvation through Jesus is the sharing of a sacred ministry and priesthood.  Believers are not called simply to enjoy the pleasure of personal blessings and intimate communion with GOD.  There is work to be done.  Included are the various tasks for demonstrating obedience and respect to divine law, fulfilling sacred promises, offering praise, participating in ongoing judgment, performing prophecy, preaching, and publishing divine proclamation.)   Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

The validity of faith that appears only when challenged by death, sickness or suffering is the topic, today. Also, there is more on whether one may receive a new or “replacement” measure of the Holy Spirit. The “Yahoo! Going to God because of tragedy?

I’ve been an agnostic, if I ever got close to God, I wanted it to be because of conviction rather than because I was pushed by tragedy.

But now that my mom has cancer, I’ve been just desperately seeking him.

Is this type of faith valid? One pushed by tragedy, hopelessness, and need?

THE BATTLE AXE: Need for A New Holy Spirit? (06/03/2013)—(5) While the spiritual death of a believer occurs in an instance, and rebirth from divine DNA is completed in the same moment, receiving the Holy Spirit is not a “one-time” event that is completed in one hour, one day, one decade, or one millennium. Finite and temporal behaviors may be completed such as church attendance, fasting, missionary service, and Scripture studies. However, Christian believers must make a continuing, uninterrupted commitment to accept a lifetime of change, growth, and transformation through operations performed by GOD. For this reason, language associated with marriage often is used to clarify Christian dedication (e.g., duty, faithfulness, intimacy, and trust). Believers become life companions to Christ, and through his Spirit, achieve fellowship, right standing, and unity with the Divine. See Galatians 4: 1-9, 1st John 1: 1-10 and 1st John 3: 1-10, King James Version. (6) Believers should not look for change in their physical appearance and social circumstances as the evidence of their new birth. The truth of rebirth must be accepted through an act of self-will (we say choice) dictated and influenced by faith. Faith appears within awareness as certainty, confidence, conviction, and trust based upon the word of GOD (i.e., divine proclamation, promise, and prophecy); and this is called “knowing by faith, rather than by sight.” A believer’s economic, employment, or marital status may continue to be undesirable for a very long period. Where indicators that are not generated by sacred content are relied upon, new believers may appear completely unaltered, unrepentant, and the same as before their embrace by GOD through Christ. Included are addictions, arbitrary differences (e.g., eye color, gender, height, weight), attitudes, behavior, character, conduct, habits, illnesses, and ones personal style. The changes that GOD will perform as a person’s salvation are to be within the believer, not others, not ones surroundings, not the church, not the world. (7) The behaviors that most indicate spiritual growth for Christian believers include actions and conduct that display increased generosity and giving, humility, impartiality, love, practice and understanding of the sacraments, willingness to forgive, unselfish service, and focus upon the person of Christ in place of introspection, self-examination and self-promotion. Believers learn to see, attend to, and serve Christ revealed within the sufferings of others. The “holy spirit” a person may have gotten “a few years ago” is proven to be alive and well by unselfish ministry to others. See Matthew 25: 31-46, Romans 8: 1-18, Romans 8: 24-31, Philippians 3: 7-14 and 2nd Corinthians 3: 17-18, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me. And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. (2nd Corinthians 12: 6-10, King James Version)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Struggles? (05/11/2013); Through Much Tribulation (05/12/2013); Death Has Been Transformed (05/09/2013); Loving the Enemy? (05/10/2013); Experience Is Not Evidence? “little prince,” here are some points I have considered since my mother died of cancer, and that most Christian believers also encounter as they are perfected by GOD:

(1) The faith you begin with should not be the faith you end with. Believers enter into a continuing process of existence that is directed by divine influences, and so there must be change, growth, learning, and sanctification. Saying this another way: A person’s awareness of divinity must increase and include recognition of divine substance that is the make-up of GOD (e.g., faith, holiness, righteousness, wisdom, wrath against sin); the active operation of GOD within the human frameworks of time and space (e.g., covenant, divine law, forgiveness, judgment, salvation); and such aspects of divine focus as authority, fulfillment, intent, and purpose.

(2) Often believers must accept that the comfort and consolation provided by GOD for meeting life challenges and experience within the natural and social worlds of mankind ARE NOT carnal, emotional, material and physical. Intended for something higher, GOD may bestow spirit content and demonstrations of divine presence through expectations (i.e., what we are commanded to hope), miracles, proclamations, promises, prophesies, testimonies in judgment, visitations, and witness.

(3) Where one relies on human faith, rather than the faith that is given through the imparted Spirit of GOD, confusion, disappointment, and a sense of having been betrayed are usually experienced. Such persons fail to grasp that the ministry of Jesus Christ must acknowledge aspects of divine order and obligation that do not permit an instant elimination of death, all disease, sickness and sin. There is an unseen universe of active forces, conditions, and demands that must be maintained in peculiar balance.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4) While GOD did not eliminate death from human experience by appearing in the earth as Jesus Christ, GOD did transform the meaning and understanding of death. Death is revealed as temporal, not eternal; death is shown to not be a god; like aging, death is not always a punishment; and fear that death may operate contrary to GOD has been broken off among believers. As a divine tool death permits resurrection, and it is a further mechanism and tool needed to establish eternal life.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Justice, murder, and sin are considerations, today, along with more on the “rebirth” and the language of salvation. “Wheelchair Warrior” (Level 2 with 421 points, a member since November 21, 2012) posted the following:

Why is there so much murdering in the Bible if God doesn’t want us to sin?

There is so much killing and stuff. It’s just wrong! Why would God write this down and make it his book that he wants everyone to read. I remember this one part where this guy snook into a house and killed a fat guy and hid his body in the toilet and then ran. What the hell God!

THE BATTLE AXE: Translation, Please… (01/11/2013)—The language of baptism is as necessary as that of rebirth, for its focus upon cleansing, death, resurrection and new life is vital to full gospel truth. Almighty GOD engages created beings and living creatures as Creator, as Savior, and as Judge. It is not a minor point that the complete revelation of GOD is also through inclusion and scrutiny using sacred processes of divine judgment. The dynamics of deliverance from sin by death; the unveiling of righteousness and mercy; and the eternal elimination of sin for everlasting life must come into view through such events as the first and second death, the first and second resurrection, and the first, second and third judgments.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place. The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? (Psalm 118: 5-6, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Put Every Man His Sword By His Side (01/01/2013); The Common Danger (01/02/2013); Vows and Covenants? (12/17/2012); A Need to Fear? (12/02/2012); On Seeing Jesus Serve the Poor (12/03/2012)

Just as there are many things regarding divinity that would be otherwise unknown to mankind, there are many things about human makeup and the nature of reality that are documented for those who will make careful study of the holy writings. The Bible is most correctly seen as a collection of truths intended for those serving GOD, and those voluntarily in covenant as his people. The priesthood receives its knowledge in accordance with peculiar practices, promises, and purposes.

Those having a knowledge of GOD through such spirit content as faith, hope, love, wisdom and wrath against sin are more prepared to discern and more easily recognize the operations of GOD in spite of sin that characterizes human events. Even so, all must require repeated exposures to truth just as babies must hear “mama” and “dada” many times before they are internalized, sounded, and correctly applied. Angels, men and other created beings and living creatures are subject to sin; yet, sin is no material or physical thing that exists. Awareness and correct knowledge of sin is provided from GOD through divine law; and substance from the person and will of GOD must be imparted to the living that allows identification of sin, and resistance to sin.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, more than surface realization that sin is common and widespread among mankind demands a distance and perspective supplied only by GOD. The Bible allows readers to have GOD’s point of view (thousands of lives over the course of thousands of years) where sin is a problem on a cosmic scale, for sin opposes all divine law, the existence of GOD, and the continuing existence of all created.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Some ideas regarding language from the holy writings that speak to rebirth, and more on Solomon is presented, today.  The “Yahoo! Answers” writer, “David G” (Level 5 with 7,787 points, a member since August 25, 2007), posted the following:

When did God create your soul? This age, or the one before this one?

THE BATTLE AXE:  The Golden Age? (01/10/2013)—As with most figures in the Bible, only part of the life, person and history of King Solomon serves as a sacred manifestation or type depicting the things from GOD for mankind.  Solomon is credited as having written more than a thousand adages, maxims and proverbs.  However, the wisdom documented in the Proverbs is to be seen as the wisdom of GOD from the covenant people to their leadership along with the wisdom of GOD from the leadership of the covenant nation for the people, and divine wisdom through the covenant people for all mankind.  Many find the Song of Solomon (also called “Canticles” and the “Song of Songs”) one of the most difficult readings from the word of GOD.  Modern readers do not immediately endorse, or feel a connection with the prophetic language and symbols used to express gratitude, love and passion toward GOD, toward the Messiah that would be sent, and toward the temple (i.e., Church) that would be established.  Solomon, the representation of Christ, is seen in contrast to Absalom, Adonijah, Amnon, Rehoboam, and all the other sons of David, who all fulfilled only carnal and fleshly expectations.  Because none fulfilled the divine aspects of the sacred promises to David, this meant that another should be expected.  When Jesus appeared as an heir to David, celibate, lowly, and meek, yet, a son of GOD, Jesus was “a new creature” totally unlike any son of David that had ever been born.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:  Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.  For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:  But the word of the Lord endureth for ever.  And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.  (1st Peter 1:  22-25, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  “Soul” Food? (12/06/2012); Holiday Displays? (12/07/2012); A Text for Lives Today (11/25/2012); Pornography from the Bible? (11/26/2012); Before the Fruit? (09/17/2012); Jealous, Not Crazy (08/10/2012); The Divine Tool of Death (08/11/2012); The One Unseen (02/03/2012)

Many mature Christian believers agree it is not any academic or literal translation of the words that appear from the pages of Scripture that is most important; rather, it is a person’s discernment, recognition, and understanding of the spiritual substance hidden within the Scriptures that is the most important thing.  Thus, one of the most significant approaches used in the ministry of Jesus to affirm peculiar doctrines appears through the Savior asking, How readest thou? (see Luke 10:  25-27, KJV).  The imparted, indwelling Spirit of GOD may give utterance, and the believer’s response may be fashioned, not merely as agreement.  Instead, the hearer is encouraged to share belief, praise, proclamation, and prophecy.

“Born again” and the language of rebirth conveys the profound reconfiguration of human existence while continuing to locate mankind upon the earth (the creation of GOD), and in the world (the creation of mankind).  The importance of flesh as an aspect of the various spiritual processes for salvation more readily comes into view.  Included are gestation, regeneration and sanctification.  There must be development and growth of human being and personness that derive from divine substance (we say, divine DNA); and the operation is one that both employs, and works upon flesh.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, to say “born from above” is not incorrect, for human understanding requires that fundamental spiritual truths must be repeated many times (like “Mama” and “Dada”) before they are finally internalized, and properly applied.  There must be a continual acknowledgment of the separation of mankind from the Creator, a distance that results from the exalted nature of GOD as well as from the operations of sin.  Also, there must be continual acceptance of the revelation of GOD Incarnate through the person of Jesus Christ as the profound outreach of GOD to the created.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

THE BATTLE AXE: Does Everyone Go To Heaven? (10/28/2012)All who have been forgiven through Jesus Christ have a special opportunity to approach GOD through fasting, meditation, prayer, service, study and supplication. As those for whom atonement has been made, believers are spoken of as “under the blood of Jesus,” where the blood is the life (i.e., the mechanism that carries being, animation, existence, presence and sacred substance to all the parts of the body). As an incarnate presentation of divinity, Christ determines resurrection for those whose mortality has been completed in covenant with him through obedience and sacrifice. The place intended for mankind is the earth made new, and the Holy City from GOD, the New Jerusalem. Those who were forgiven, yet denied Jesus Christ as their salvation, will have no part with the heirs of eternal life.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. And there was great joy in that city. But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one: To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God. And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries. But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done. (Acts 8: 5-13, King James Version)

Here are some thoughts I have permission to share as a son of GOD through the provisions of Jesus Christ:

For mature Christian believers, prayer derives from the indwelling spirit of GOD, and is an operation whereby the Spirit substance within created beings or living creatures asserts agreement and oneness with GOD while also acclaiming the exalted status of divine person. Where such elements as enchantment, idol worship, spell-casting, the use of familiars, and wishing appear, self-will operates to increase autonomy, independence and power without acknowledgment of GOD. While there are rejection of the flesh (e.g., appetite, sensation), the mind (e.g., desire, logic, reason) and the natural world, demigods and false gods are appealed to and reverenced indicating the presence and dominance of sin.

Magick conforms to peculiar laws and regularities, as do divine healing and miracles. However, the function and purpose of magic typically does not include revelation of sacred person, fulfillment of spiritual purposes, and the accomplish of divine will. Where there is genuine manifestation of truth from GOD, each event or occurrence must amplify and clarify the things already documented as Scripture. Thusdespite marvels and wondersall are able to see the operation of GOD among mankind as displaying consistency, integrity, righteousness, soundness, and utility. The practice of magick may include incantations (calling spirits into presence), petitions (making requests) and praise (declarations to acknowledge authority and power); however, many dimensions of godly prayer do not appear. Included are such elements as acknowledgment, confession of sin, dispelling fear, forgiveness, intercession, repentance, re-dedication, and supplication (bending to divine will).

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, the transformation of consciousness that one must undergo to accomplish full submission to GOD begins at being “born again”, and must go forward as growth and learning that entails multiple changes of one inner nature. While death and rebirth are instantaneous arriving at complete trust and understanding is gradual. Such elements as fellowship in worship assemblies, practice of sacraments, study of Scriptures and private prayer are major mechanisms for supplying believers with both a new mental awareness, and new spirit content.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
