Today, topics include maturing, spiritual growth, and becoming perfected as followers of Jesus Christ.  Developing Christians all may be called those who have acknowledged an unquenchable need for divine forgiveness, grace, and renewal, and who willingly have volunteered to work for the Lord when recruited from among sinners.  They have not been accepted and approved on the basis of their decency, their innocence, their finite human skills, or their being without sin.  They have been granted place as his “beloved” and his “little ones”—not because they are perfect—because they are willing to be perfected by the Lord.  These are those who need the most, love the most, display contrition, are burdened with a broken heart, who approach the Savior showing humility and meekness (a readiness to learn and grow), and who openly express their willingness to serve unselfishly with boldness and with zeal.  One of the fighters at “Yahoo! “Anonymous”, for Christian believers, accepting Jesus Christ as the Redeemer and Savior provided by GOD means willingly accepting permanent changes in your character, makeup, and divine substance that will result in a having new standards, a new lifestyle, and new relationships.  The ideas and images related to reaping a harvest are used in the holy writings to help the living understand the operations of GOD for the salvation of mankind.  Sinners must become “born again” through water baptism (death and burial of their inborn spirit, resurrection from the dead having divine DNA, so to speak).  By receiving fresh deposits of spirit content imparted from the makeup of our Creator, created beings on the earth become a new creation.  Believers are to live as vessels of divine spirit, the offspring (sons and daughters) of GOD, and joint heirs with Jesus Christ.

Being saved (salvation) is not a “one-time” sacred event (we say, miracle) so much as a new birth wherein those who are “born again” also must “grow up again” and gradually become mature by meeting life challenges on the earth, gaining sacred knowledge along with secular knowledge, overcoming “growing pains,” enduring suffering, and even completing their own mortality (death).

Believers are not granted authority and self-will (we say, willpower) to ignore or interfere with the natural laws governing the earth, deny the frameworks of time and space, or violate the many fixed processes for the earth and human life (e.g., aging, decay, sickness, weather events).  Even so, all are to display inseparable aspects of divinity that include faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Genuine salvation occurs through accepting accountability, commitment, obedience (mature expressions of love), and clear understanding, never through coercion, threats, and violence. 

Because the operations of sin can only be eliminated using divine tools described as “final judgment,” those rejecting Christ do become subject to total destruction.  Freedom from fear results by performing the righteousness required by divine law; by trusting GOD to carry out and fulfill his own recorded proclamations, promises, and prophecies; and by confessing and sharing truth with GOD through prayer.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  John 3:  1-7, King James Version (KJV):  1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:  2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God:  for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.  3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?  5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

(2.)  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

(3.)  Galatians 6:  7-9, KJV:  7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked:  for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.  8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.  9 And let us not be weary in well doing:  for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

(4.)  Luke 9:  56-62, KJV:  56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.  57 And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.  58 And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.  59 And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.  60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead:  but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.  61 And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.  62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

Today, points are shared on the human process and works that establish Christian believers in salvation.  In faith, many will speak “things that be not as if they already are,” and the sacred process is one of behaving consistently to act on and bring about what we have declared.  Thus, in the same way a complex chain of action/reaction follows a divine word of promise and prophecy, a believer may utter a word of forgiveness that will require years of change and growth before it is completely displayed and fulfilled throughout all their actions and attitudes.  Also, many are surprised and dismayed to find that conflict and disagreements continue to appear within the body of Christ, the church.  What they have to realize is that the meaning, purpose, and value of what seems strange and unwelcome behaviors are very different than that within the world.  Along with showing humility, piety, and reverence among themselves as believers, there are needs and settings that require Christians to be aggressive, critical, decisive, and practical (“wise as serpents, gentle as doves”).  Correctly understood, then, salvation is not a “one-time” event, nor is it only a divine operation that miraculously appears in the blink of an eye.  Salvation also means accepting and enduring judgment with correction now, continuing the exposure of error and sin as well as the faithful execution of commitment to the Gospel as a new creation through Jesus Christ.  One of the fighters at “Yahoo! What constitutes a REAL Christian?

My parents run a bible study group thing where people from their church come over once a week and discuss Christian related stuff.

However, they spend a significant portion of the time bitching about certain people, pointing out their flaws, putting them down and being very judgemental.

Can they really be called Christians if they have this much disregard for what the bible teaches?

“Anonymous”, Christian believers are now engaged within the process of their own divine judgment, such that, when Christ will appear, they will be “clear” to join him in eternity.  Our transformation to exist as immortal, incorruptible companions of divinity has already begun, and will be completed soon.  In the same way life for a new born must unfold over the course of an indefinite period of time (a month, years, decades? We say, a lifetime), spiritual growth for those reborn as followers of Jesus Christ is an extended process of discovery, acquiring sacred knowledge and undergoing countless permanent changes in ones character, makeup, and spirit content that, once begun, continues for eternity.  Like diamonds that are produced by heat and pressure, or gold and silver that are purged and refined as ore and rough rocks within a burning furnace, sinners must be altered through multiple sacred operations that include baptism (death and burial of ones inborn spirit, and rebirth from divine DNA, so to speak), meeting life challenges on the earth, enduring “growing pains,” and suffering.

Those who are “born again” also must “grow up again,” and become emotionally, psychologically and spiritually ripe (mature) for harvest when they will meet the Lord in the air (we say, the Advent, the Rapture, the Second Coming).  To outsiders looking on, the church as a household of faith often will appear to be filled with conflict, disappointment, enmity, friction, and misunderstanding.  The salvation we speak of is anchored in Jesus dying on the cross, and believers receiving atonement and propitiation for sin through his blood.  Even so, for developing believers salvation also is a dynamic, interpersonal life process.  Yes, there are giving, performing good works, prayer, and study of the holy writings; however, these (behind the scenes) demand edification for such competence and special skill as balance, listening, forgiving, persevering, respect, restraint, waiting, weighing, and yielding. 

All Christian believers are to become vessels of divine spirit imparted from the makeup of GOD.  Included are faith, forbearance, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Even so, there are numberless differences among believers:  All are not the same age, gender, nationality, or race; all are not on the same level of maturity; all do not have the same duties and responsibilities.  Believers are required to support one another by sharing admonition, counsel, critique, and guidance.  Through practice, growth, reflection, and unselfish service, all become equally able to realize that, through Jesus Christ, they now are endowed with a fullness of divinity within (we say, oneness without sameness) that continues under the authority of the Father.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Galatians 2:  8-18, King James Version (KJV):  8 (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)  9 And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.  10 Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.  11 But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.  12 For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles:  but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.  13 And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.  14 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?  15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,  16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law:  for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.  17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? (2.)  Matthew 18:  15-20, KJV:  15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone:  if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.  16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.  17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church:  but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.  18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven:  and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.  19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.  20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

The Device of Incarnation

 

Today, reply is on divinity’s use of flesh and human form to appear on the earth.  GOD has used multiple embodiments, sacred events (we say, miracles), and figures on the earth to display the fullness of divinity (we say, the GODhead).  Included have been the abundance and plenty of harvests; altars and wells of water established by nomadic tribes; the fall of manna from heaven for 40 years; fire from heaven to receive offerings and sacrifices; the burning bush that appeared to Moses; various kingdoms and nations in covenant with the Creator; the flood of Noah’s day; the punishing plagues leveled against Pharaoh; and the Passover that preserved the Hebrews while destroying Egypt’s firstborn.  Through Jesus Christ, divinity now is providing communion, continuing relationship, and a complete revelation of the GODhead that avoids much of the human error, fear, and spiritual confusion that accompanied the earlier extreme episodes, one-time events, and supernatural occurrences.  The fighter at “Yahoo! “1282838”, here are some points to consider that may help build up your understanding of Christian beliefs regarding the Incarnation of GOD in Jesus Christ:

The device of Incarnation is used by divinity (1) to make the active presence who is GOD knowable, known, accessible, and approachable among created beings and living creatures such as angels and men (we say, is used for revelation); (2) to focus and provide sacred substance within the finite consciousness of the living through the use of intellect, mind and sensation (we say, divinity appears, becomes manifest); (3) to promote communication, exchange and interaction with the Creator through continuous personal and stable relationships that display accountability, affection, praise, prayer, respect, and reverence (e.g., covenant, marriage, service as apostles, priests and prophets); and (4) to complete sacred operations that must actualize divine possibilities and eternal purposes such as Creation, judgment, prophecy, reconciliation, and salvation.

The intent of Incarnation is not so much making GOD visible, or showing what GOD “looks like.”  GOD is a spirit who is to be acknowledged (we say, worshiped) in spirit and in truth.  Divine spirit exists as diffuse, unlimited, and without having a discrete shape or measurable form.  The living are to connect and respond to divinity using their own divine content imparted as their inborn life essence (we also say, breath, spirit, word), or as a fresh endowment from the makeup of GOD through water baptism (we say, rebirth, becoming born again).  Inseparable aspects from the makeup of Deity can be imparted to the living such as faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

The holy writings make GOD “visible” by presenting thousands of events, within thousands of lives, over the course of thousands of years.  While it often seems to humans like us that GOD can do whatever he pleases, to maintain divine order throughout a universe that includes things seen and unseen, divinity will only operate to carry out, complete, express, and fulfill the acts of grace, forbearance, forgiveness, and divine prerogative that appear through covenant agreements, governance and divine law, sacred proclamations, promises, prophecy, revelation, and imperatives of sovereign will.  Consider the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Deuteronomy 4:  11-19, King James Version (KJV):  11 And ye came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness.  12 And the LORD spake unto you out of the midst of the fire:  ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice.  13 And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.  14 And the LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it.  15 Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye saw no manner of similitude on the day that the LORD spake unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire:  16 Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,  17 The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flieth in the air,  18 The likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth:  19 And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.

(2.)  Acts 17:  24-31, KJV:  24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;  25 Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;  26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;  27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:  28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.  29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.  30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:  31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

“STEVAN”, wrath against sin is a permanent aspect of the character, makeup, and substance of divinity; is not an emotion or feeling that comes and goes; and continues in balance with such attributes as oneness without sameness, impartiality, mercy, and restraint.  The GOD Christian believers acknowledge has put forth existence, life, and multiple streams of truth that flow together, interact, and at times oppose one another.  Even so, the fullness of divinity (we say, the GODhead) is a single, active presence, who makes Deity knowable, known, and approachable by created beings and living creatures, and who uses distinct forms and sacred processes as three persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit).  GOD is to be respected as the Creator, as a deliverer, a law giver, a sovereign ruler, and a god of judgment.

Where the living obey, and accept the protection and security generated through the law of GOD, no one is “threatened” by the law.  Because an important use of the law is to expose sin that otherwise would be hidden and unknown, the law identifies enmity against GOD through disobedience.  While we are correct to speak of a “final” judgment, divine authority and judgment are continuous and eternal processes.  The outcomes of divine judgment always are blessing and peace, for divine judgment is the resolution of conflict and the settlement of disputes through the declaration of sacred law (i.e., the expressed will of GOD).  By providing fixed elements as anchors and reference points to express the immutable, incorruptible, unchanging nature of GOD, divinity “rules” and maintains divine order.  The living may discern (i.e., use their own endowment of spirit content from the makeup of GOD), recognize and respond to discrete cycles, patterns and sequences that we speak of as regulated by both “natural” and “spiritual laws.”  Sinners who have received fresh deposits of life essence (breath, spirit, word) are supplied to examine and acknowledge the spirit content residing within events, other persons, the holy writings, themselves, etc.  The inseparable aspects of divinity they receive through water baptism include faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, meekness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Psalms 7:  10-12, King James Version (KJV):  10 My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.  11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.  12 If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.

(2.)  1st Timothy 1:  9-10, KJV:  9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,  10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

(3.)  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

We Are His Little Ones

 

Today, focus is on language throughout the Bible that describes adult believers in Jesus Christ as children and “little ones.”  Spoken of as adoption by the Spirit, being tried in a refiner’s fire (i.e., judgment), rebirth, purification, and sanctification, there is a profound divine process that a sinner must endure to become ripe (mature), and be harvested from the earth at the coming of the Savior as someone who has been purchased by his living ministry, his dying on the cross, and his rule as Risen Lord.  Salvation is not a discrete episode or “one-time” event; and there must be discovery, gradual growth, acquisition of sacred knowledge, and the performance of godly works through ones lifestyle and routine living.  A fighter at “Yahoo! “2FollowHim”, those who belong to GOD should be recognizable by their humility, obedience, and reverence togodward.  Continuing the ministry of Jesus Christ, the Apostles frequently addressed full-grown adults of the early church as “children” and “little ones.”  Being members joined to the body of Christ, developing believers at first are to be given guidance, instruction, and support as though they are infants, “born again,” and totally dependent.  These “new born babes” who once were sinners must “grow up again,” acquire sacred knowledge and become ripe for harvest while facing challenges, “growing pains,” opposition, and suffering on the earth.  All believers are to undergo multiple permanent changes in their character and makeup through the imparted Holy Spirit.  In water baptism, the inborn spirit of those seeking GOD is carried through a form of death, burial, and resurrection.  More than this, sinners are endowed with spirit content from the makeup of GOD (divine DNA, so to speak), and become heirs, offspring, and the sons and daughters of GOD.  Their transformation to exist as immortal, incorruptible companions of divinity will begin while on the earth, and be completed in the air, “in the twinkling of an eye,” at the Lord’s appearing that many call the Advent, the harvest, the Rapture, and the Second Coming.  With this in view, the great diversity among Christian believers is understood as resulting largely through the differences in their duties, knowledge, levels of maturity, and their specific spiritual gifts.  Consider again the following:

Today, focus is on the image mankind must display to be recognized as an offspring of GOD, and a vessel containing the inseparable aspects of his divine makeup.  Where men lose their divine gifts through sin, eventually they become so filthy and inhuman before GOD, they will have no meaning or value as do animals, angels, or material things such as cloth, clouds, rocks, and sand on a beach.  Only the living endowed with spirit substance from the fullness of Deity can communicate, exchange, and interact with divinity in continuing relationships.  Created beings and living creatures have been fashioned by GOD to display marks of the active presence and his eternal purposes as well as to manifest the unchanging process within his eternal heart and mind.  The image of GOD is not only seen through authority, decisiveness, glory, majesty, and power.  The image of GOD is also seen through accountability, commitment, faith, gentleness, longsuffering, maturity, meekness, mercy, righteousness, temperance, truthfulness, and zeal.  A fighter at “Yahoo! “Khue The Dum Athiest”, the believing, choosing, repentance, and being saved that Christians speak of are needed because the image of GOD that mankind should display has been warped and twisted by the operations of sin.  The divine image was established within mankind by the life essence (we also say, breath, spirit, word) imparted to the forms the Creator shaped using dust and a rib that would become the first pair.  Where sin is able to operate in a continuous way, mankind can no longer be correctly acknowledged and recognized by divinity as the children of GOD, or as living vessels that completely and correctly contain his divine substance. 

During Creation, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit regularly examined the “work in progress;” and judgment by GOD has always set standards for the continued existence of the heaven and the earth.  Sin has not been created by divinity, yet, sin may dominate awareness and self-will in created beings and living creatures.  The Lake of Fire was prepared to receive those holy angels that would not endure as eternal servants to GOD.  Death (also called sleep) was first used when the Creator fashioned the female.  Sin first appeared in the earth when the man and his wife disobeyed the command of GOD, and violated their personal relationship with the Creator.  The inborn character and makeup within all the offspring of Adam and Eve to this very day has been inclined to accept sin (the transgression of the law from GOD) and its consequence of death as natural, normal, and an ordinary condition of life.  Yet, sin opposes the continued existence of sacred law, the Law Giver, and the divine order that must be in place for the universe.  Being cast into the Lake of Fire is also called the second death.

So to speak, the workings of sin remove all the inseparable aspects of divine spirit used to show we have oneness without sameness as sons and daughters of GOD.  Included are faith, forbearance, forgiveness, holiness, innocence, lovingkindness, respect, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  In the same way, it may take a long while, yet, a guy loses interest in a girl who refuses to date him, and devotes his time to the girls who show they like him and want to be with him, those who refuse the salvation offered by GOD, become enemies, strangers, and an abomination to GOD that must be destroyed and removed from existence.  Consider the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Ezekiel 18:  20-24, King James Version (KJV):  20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son:  the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.  21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
22 All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him:  in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.  23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD:  and not that he should return from his ways, and live?  24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? Today, I share another reply on why a believer needs baptism.  The divine process for salvation, in fact, is one of transforming the created to more completely and correctly display the image of the Creator.  Important demands from natural and divine law must be answered that include completing mankind’s mortality, replacing the inborn spirit of man, amplifying the expression of sacred will that must reside within the living, and the sprouting of mankind from divine seed.  Through water baptism, sinners are further established and immersed in the life-giving birth, ministry, death, resurrection, ascension and divine High Priesthood of Jesus Christ that GOD the Father now acknowledges as their own personal recovery from sin.  One of the fighters at “Yahoo! “Anonymous”, many don’t stop to think, yet, increasingly, many mature Christian believers agree that the divine process of salvation is one of becoming joined to GOD through imparted spirit substance from the makeup of divinity.  The character, nature, and substance of the Creator was deposited initially in the created as life essence (we also say, breath, spirit, the spark of life, word).  Through the ministry of Jesus Christ, sinners are provided with a fresh endowment of sacred content that includes aspects of sovereign will that can not be dominated by sin.  Believers are a new creation, the sons and daughters of GOD, and vessels containing the Holy Spirit (we also say, the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth).

The joining we speak of is not so much carnal, material, secular, and social as it is forward-looking, promissory, and spiritual.  The active presence that should be acknowledged and recognized as GOD is accessible and approachable for mankind through inseparable aspects of full divine substance.  Included are faith, forgiveness, glory, grace, holiness, hope, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Believers receive anointing to serve as heirs, priests and kings along with Jesus, who has lived on the earth as an Incarnation (embodiment in flesh and blood) of the three persons in GODhead (the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit).  Multiple operations are being completed by the GODhead for the transformation of mankind to exist as an immortal, incorruptible companion of divinity (e.g., baptism, death, judgment, rebirth, resurrection, sanctification).

By observing sacred practices (we say, sacraments) such as baptism, confirmation, holy matrimony, and the Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion) Christian believers are built up and edified with the church, for they participate in assemblies that serve as godly convocations, and respond to the same standards for oneness without sameness that exist among the persons of the GODhead.  During the baptism of Jesus, he was acknowledged as the Son of Adam and the Son of the Highest; and his office as priest and prophet was confirmed.  Believers are to acquire the same consciousness that was bestowed upon Christ.  Consider again the following that uses language from the holy writings:

(3.)  Romans 8:  13-18, KJV:  13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die:  but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.  14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.  15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.  16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:  17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.  18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Galatians 2:  20, KJV:  20 I am crucified with Christ:  nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:  and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
