Today, points are shared on the circumcision of infant boys as a sacred practice and sign of divine covenant relationship.  Circumcision continues as a device used by GOD that makes visible unseen divine operations to cleanse, heal, preserve and seal mankind by removing the overlay of inherited and individual sin upon the heart within the descendants of Adam.  The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” forum who uses the ID “leveret” (Level 1 with 6 points, a member since June 07, 2014) posted the following:

 

Should kosher slaughter and circumcision of infant boys become illegal?

I think its wrong to kill animals without stunning them first. its cruel to make them feel physical pain.

also I think circumcision of children should become illegal. if someone wants to mutilate their genitals they can do so once they turn 18.

“leveret”, here are some points you many find useful on circumcision as a seal of covenant and a visible incarnation of divine presence:

1.  Sacred knowledge and practice (we say, sacraments) among Christian believers identify circumcision as a sacred event and a response to the revelation that divinity can and will communicate, exchange and interact with created beings and living creatures in continuous, personal relationships.

2.  Divinity engages mankind using covenant relationships that are grounded in faith, hope, divine proclamation, promise, and prophecy.

3.  While GOD is a spirit (who has appeared on the earth using human form as Jesus Christ), divinity is no mere abstraction, explanatory principle, figment of imagination, or hypothetical construct.  GOD indwells the living as life essence (we also say, breath, spirit, Word).  Inseparable aspects of the divine makeup may be imparted to mankind on the earth such as faith, forbearance, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, meekness, righteousness, wisdom and wrath against sin.

4.  To exist without mortality and continue as a companion to immortal, incorruptible GOD, mankind must undergo permanent change and transformations carried out by the Spirit of GOD (we also say, the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth).  The primary focus and process for consciousness and self-will within mankind are no longer to be determined by aspects of the flesh (e.g., appetite, sensation, emotion/mind), and features of the sphere of life such as time and space.

5.  Saying this another way, using language from the Bible:

    a.  Romans 4:  8-12, King James Version (KJV):  8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.  9 Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness.  10 How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.  11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised:  that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:  12 And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.

    b.  Romans 2:  25-29, KJV:  25 For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law:  but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.  26 Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?  27 And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?  28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:  29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

    c.  Isaiah 63:  15-17, KJV:  15 Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory:  where is thy zeal and thy strength, the sounding of thy bowels and of thy mercies toward me? are they restrained?
16 Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not:  thou, O LORD, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting.  17 O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, and hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants’ sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.

    d.  Colossians 2:  8-12, KJV:  8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.  9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.  10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:  11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:  12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

Today, focus is on conditions for a relationship with divinity by promise, rather than by the authority, manufacture, and ownership of GOD.  The existence and continuation of the living are accomplished through multiple divine mechanisms, operations and procedures that are fixed and unchanging.  Included are aspects of the divine makeup as well as aspects of the flesh.  Examples are forbearance, humility, judgment, obedience, the imparting of spirit content from GOD, praise, proclamation, promise, and prophecy.  The Sabbath comes into view as an institution established by GOD for the completion and enrichment of Creation, and is a divine tool (we say, sign) that authenticates covenant, divine law, and sacred practice.  The Sabbath does not interrupt or suspend the frameworks of time and space, and does not accomplish the godly purposes found with death and sleep.  Even so, the Sabbath appears as a consciousness that is continuous and ever-present through the devices of family lineage and inheritance.  The Sabbath fosters sacred fellowship, promotes acquisition of sacred knowledge, and serves as a signature and mark of divine completion, fulfillment, possession, remembrance, refreshing, renewal, and rest.  The writer at “Yahoo! “Umeka”, the verses you ask about proclaim the terms for a perpetual and unbreakable covenant relationship with GOD.  When the Patriarch Jacob ran from home to escape the anger of his brother Esau, whom he had cheated out of his birthright and the blessing of family inheritance from GOD,   Jacob traveled back to the birthplace and home of his mother to hide there.  Overnight, as he was sleeping with his head on a stone used for a pillow, he had a prophetic dream where he saw angels going up and down a ladder.  When he awakened he was terrified that he had stumbled into a holy place.   He offered a prayer to “the God of his father, Isaac (also the God of Abraham), saying in effect, “if you save my life, protect me, and help me to return home as a success, I will accept you as my GOD the same way they did.”  In this sense, Jacob was like many of us, who have grown up around the things from GOD handed down since Adam, and was receiving the blessing of those having a divine priesthood as their family inheritance, yet, he did not seek his own (nor we our own) relationship with GOD until there was a crisis, and a need for immediate deliverance and rescue from danger. 

In this, Moses was like Jacob:  Moses approached the burning bush from curiosity, not belief and faith.  The Egyptian people belonged to their king after selling their land, their livestock, and themselves to Pharaoh to survive a devastating famine.  Pharaoh and the gods of Egypt had no hold on the family of Joseph and those who were the heirs of Abraham and Isaac.  Yet, they continued seeking the benefits of fitting in among the Egyptians.  Moses was sent to the Hebrews to call them out of Egypt; and GOD began to pour out upon the Egyptians his judgments against worship of false gods, idolatry and spiritual confusion.  Those who left Egypt with Moses knew that GOD had blessed Abraham and Jacob, yet, had not begun to proclaim their acceptance of him as their own sovereign GOD.

The things that GOD spoke to Moses in private were openly shared with all the people at Mount Sinai, who fled from the destruction that came upon Pharaoh.  First (see Exodus 20), every man, woman, and even small babies heard the voice of GOD speaking his requirements for covenant relationship.  Later (see Exodus 31), they were given the divine law written with the finger of GOD on tables of stone.  On the day they assembled at Sinai, the people became so afraid, they begged that GOD would never speak to mankind on the earth that way again; and they agreed to answer Moses and the other agents, prophets, and spokespersons (e.g., apostles, judges, kings, their caretakers and parents) he would send.

There is far more that should be considered and properly understood.  (For example, once their crisis and state of emergency are passed, men often become complacent, bold, overly self-reliant, and defiant of GOD.  Perhaps, this is why an irreversible death sentence was placed upon Adam and his offspring that continues within divine law and sacred covenants as sanctions, and the expression of divine wrath against sin.  The covenant of Moses continues the necessary life-and-death urgency experienced in Jacob.  It is written:  Numbers 15:  29-33, King James Version (KJV):  29 Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.  30 But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.  31 Because he hath despised the word of the LORD, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.  32 And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day.  34 And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him.  35 And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death:  all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp.  36 And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses.  33 And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Elijah Calling for Fire From GOD to Defeat the 450 Priests of Baal

 

Today, fire from GOD, divine judgment, and the Lake of Fire are topics.  In Scripture, fire appears as an emblem of divine authority evoking awe, and a sign of divine righteousness.  Because we are speaking of a tool used by GOD for whom nothing is impossible, Christian believers accept that fire can be made to fall like rain even though mingled with ice and hail.  It is written:  Isaiah 4:  3-6, King James Version (KJV):  3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:  4 When the LORD shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.  5 And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night:  for upon all the glory shall be a defence.  6 And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the day time from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Daniel 3:25

This is referencing the story of Shadrach and his 2 brothers.

Satan was once an angel, so why would he suffer in Hell? Wouldn’t he view it as a nice trip to the hot springs?

“JohnnyBravo”, the notion that Satan can not be hurt in fire comes to us as another form of the answer given to Eve, Ye shall not surely die.  In the holy writings, different operations of fire from GOD include (1) anointing, cleansing, purifying fire such as fell on the apostles at Pentecost, (2) fire and flames indicating the active presence who is GOD as was seen by Moses in the burning bush, (3) flame that sanctifies, sets apart, and identifies the portion that belongs to GOD like the pillar of flame that stood between Pharaoh’s army and those fleeing Egypt in the Exodus, and (4) consuming, destroying fire such as that set apart to destroy the Devil and his angels.  Throughout the Scriptures burning and fire repeatedly indicate judgment, correction, prophecy, and wrath against sin.  Despite having been consecrated and ordained as priests, two sons of Aaron were punished for seeking to use ordinary fire from the earth when offering incense to the Most High.  Holy fire (the fire from GOD; fire from the holy altar) is very different in its makeup, process and substance from common fire used on the earth for cooking, light, or heating.  Holy fire separates the carnal, material and social aspects of an offering from the spirit content that is to be transferred to GOD such as awe, devotion, faithfulness, gratitude, humility, love, obedience, reverence and zeal.  Consider again the following from the Bible:

(1.)  Leviticus 10:  1-3, King James Version (KJV):  1 And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not.  2 And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.  3 Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the LORD spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace.

(2.)  1st Kings 18:  21-24, KJV:  21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him:  but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.  22 Then said Elijah unto the people, I, even I only, remain a prophet of the LORD; but Baal’s prophets are four hundred and fifty men.  23 Let them therefore give us two bullocks; and let them choose one bullock for themselves, and cut it in pieces, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under:  and I will dress the other bullock, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under:  24 And call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the LORD:  and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken.

(3.)  Matthew 25:  40-45, KJV:  40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.  41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:  42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat:  I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:  43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not:  sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.  44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?  45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 

(4.)  Revelation 20:  13-15, KJV:  13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them:  and they were judged every man according to their works.  14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.  15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Today, focus is on belief, ministry, sacred events, and signs.  Believers and followers of Jesus accomplish works that are greater than those performed by the Lord on the basis of their displaying works chosen and selected by GOD to fulfill prophecy and eternal purpose, rather than as a matter of introducing sacred practices never seen or thought of before that originate within flesh, and are characterized by newness, sensationalism, and sensuality.  Many Christian believers do not distinguish between the works that focus on carnal, material and social things, and the works that might be spoken of as centering on Spirit.  Even so, all Christians are saved by divine grace through faith, and not by their own works.  Most of the critical operations completed for a sinner’s salvation must be carried out by divinity on their behalf leaving them only such work as acknowledgement and worship; acquiring sacred knowledge; developing discernment; expressing gratitude; regular prayer; sharing fellowship and unselfish service; and study of the holy writings.  With this in view, it might also be correct to say, The most important work to be completed by a believer in Christ is to be in a full personal relationship with divinity that displays the righteousness of GOD rather than the righteousness of mankind, and that permits discernment of the same oneness without sameness that appears among the persons within the GODhead.  A fighter at “Yahoo! “Roland Chambers”, the greater works created beings and living creatures must complete are those directed to GOD (e.g., confession, love, repentance, thanksgiving), and may be “visible” only as Spirit.  Thus, even for many mature Christians the most challenging and difficult work for a believer is submission (to “let go, and let God”).  While the process of GOD to separate Creation from sin does include many sacred events (we say, miracles), the presentation of non-verbal prophetic demonstrations that make “visible” otherwise unseen divine intent, messages and operations of the Spirit, and the provision of “signs” (nature used to authenticate the divine origin, source, and certain fulfillment of prophecy), through the ministry of Jesus Christ sinners are being granted a fresh endowment of spirit content from the makeup of GOD, and are being transformed to exist as a new creation.  In addition to the works of believing, commitment, exclusive spiritual devotion, recruiting new believers, and unselfish ministry to others, the born again disciples and followers of Christ are to endure suffering and await the Savior’s appearing (we say, Advent, the Rapture, the Second Coming).  More significant than exceptions, reversals, and unusual occurrences in accordance with natural law are the continuous appearance of inseparable spirit substance from the Father (we say, divine DNA) deposited in earthen vessels, and displayed through the lifestyle and daily routines among those now the children of GOD.  Included should be seen faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, meekness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Consider again the following from the Bible:

(1.)  John 6:  27-35, King James Version (KJV):  27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you:  for him hath God the Father sealed.  28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?  29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.  30 They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?  31 Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.  32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.  33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.  34 Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.  35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life:  he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Today, additional points are shared on communicating with the dead and those now thought to be in heaven.  It is correct to be cautious in opening ourselves to others while we are in bereavement, for there are many who do not share our faith and our private understandings.  In addition to those who will impose opinions that arise from their own lack of sacred knowledge, often there are also those who are intrusive, overbearing, and presumptuous.  The mourner must be vigilant, for even those who seem to be harmless and well-meaning may corrupt and disrespect carefully-selected things that truly are necessary in our ongoing growth and recovery.  Having said this, the mourner must have the boldness to fashion their own new life, and should not shrink from learning and sharing again.

 

THE BATTLE AXE:  The Comfort Through Christ? (01/13/2017)—The hope of the living must be in GOD.  Desire for communication and exchange with the dead arises from aspects of carnal reasoning along with existence being understood as a condition that is only material, physical, and social.  For those in bereavement, features such as appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, sexual cravings), sensation (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching), and emotion/mental functions (e.g., anger, fear, imagination, recall) become objects for focus and response, rather than interaction and life experience as directed through divine spirit content.  It is correct to say there are specific divine laws and rules that govern both the living and the dead, and the Bible is our most trusted source for that kind of information.  Mechanical, recurring, and routine aspects of living are described as being experienced and shared by all.  Because concentration upon the occult and the supernatural usually result in spiritual confusion, mature believers often discourage faith within the living that relies too heavily upon apparitions, dreams, signs, or visitations from the dead.  Contact with those who died and are now alive again through resurrection (e.g., Jesus, his mother Mary, and certain of the saints) through sacred events (we say, miracles) and through the Holy Spirit must be carefully examined using earlier Scripture accounts as legitimate sacred standards.  Thus, while the parable shared by the Savior using Lazarus, a beggar, and Dives, a rich man, is not intended as a revelation that describes heaven such as later appears through prophecy, the account makes many points concerning the divine law and restrictions that set heaven apart as sanctified.  All who appear in the divine presence are alive, yet, not in the same form and manner as that required to be upon the earth.  Consider the Scriptures below.

Comfort to the believers in Christ includes the following:

(1.)  Matthew 5:  4, King James Version (KJV):  4 Blessed are they that mourn:  for they shall be comforted.

(2.)  Psalms 146:  3-5, KJV:  3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.  4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.  5 Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:

(3.)  Isaiah 8:  19-20, KJV:  19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter:  should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?  20 To the law and to the testimony:  if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

(4.)  Matthew 22:  31-33, KJV:  31 But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,  32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.  33 And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.

(5.)  Ecclesiastes 9:  1-6, KJV:  1 For all this I considered in my heart even to declare all this, that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God:  no man knoweth either love or hatred by all that is before them.  2 All things come alike to all:  there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not:  as is the good, so is the sinner; and he that sweareth, as he that feareth an oath.  3 This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all:  yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead.  4 For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope:  for a living dog is better than a dead lion.  5 For the living know that they shall die:  but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.  6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun.

Today, focus is on the Son of GOD as the groundwork and platform of Creation, judgment, revelation, and salvation.  Until the creation of Adam, the Word existed as unseen, and known through faith, law, praise, proclamation, promise, and prophecy.  The Son of the Highest would appear upon the earth and use finite materials such as  blood, human form, flesh, and water.  The fighter at “Yahoo! “Trilobiteme”, the works of GOD to establish and maintain Creation have been grounded upon a foundation that can be known and seen.  All sacred knowledge, fellowship, practice, and process have been built up rooted in the things of GOD through Jesus Christ.  Because the fullness of the GODhead will always be oneness without sameness, and will manifest spirit that is comprehensive, diffuse and invisible (yet not abstract, impersonal, and indifferent), divinity must use devices that are carnal, material, and social to be in meaningful relationships with created beings and living creatures.  The living are to be instruments and vessels containing and expressing the character, nature, and substance of GOD.  Inseparable aspects of divine makeup must be imparted to indwell the living that include faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  The Creator appeared on the earth in the person of Jesus Christ, and himself became the necessary platform and stable foundation of soil, rather than dust or sand.  In this sense, divinity could not avoid coming to us as a baby miraculously born to a virgin.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  Deuteronomy 12:  5, King James Version (KJV):  5 But unto the place which the LORD your God shall choose out of all your tribes to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come:

Today, whether there is a need for other authentic holy writings with the Bible is considered.  One of the most important ways the Holy Spirit is imparted and received is by prayerful study of the Scriptures, and the anointing from GOD is not only by breathing from the Savior, by falling as at Pentecost, or laying on of hands.  The Scriptures have not been provided for amusement and entertainment, argument and debate, or intellectual competition and philosophizing.  They supply frameworks for spiritual awareness and increase that include covenants, family, godly government, judgments, divine law, parables, proverbs, salvation, and eternal life.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Dan” (Level 4 with 3,089 points, a member since March 20, 2015) posted the following:

 

If all scripture is god-breathed, why doesn’t the bible contain all scripture, and why don’t you search for extra-biblical scripture?

I mean if ALL scripture is god breathed, I don’t understand how anyone could be satisfied with just the bible when it does not contain everything ever said or dictated by god. What about the book of Enoch? what about the gospel of mary? what about lilith? What about the dead sea scrolls? If ALL scripture is from god and is good for “teaching” like 2nd Tim 3:16 says, shouldn’t the bible contain ALL scripture? I mean if you don’t care about the non-biblical gospels, then your faith is but in the ancient self-righteous priests who decided (based on their own values, not god’s will) what went into the bible and what didn’t. Your faith is not in your god if the ideas of ancient people are more important to you than the words of god himself.

“Dan”, salvation turns on how much faith more than on how much knowledge and scripture, for where there is faith prophecy, signs, and tokens from GOD are more than enough.  Mature Christian believers generally agree that the holy writings are a special appearance of spirit substance (we say, breath, life essence, word) from the makeup of GOD.  Divinity is revealed (i.e., made knowable, known, and “visible”) through use of a form or incarnation recognizable to created beings and living creatures.  The living must engage divinity by using their own inborn deposits of spirit, rather than by relying upon finite and limited tools such as emotion, intellect, logic, philosophy, carnal reason, and science.  Thus, inseparable aspects of divinity must be in place that include faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, meekness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  The permanence and unchanging nature of sacred knowledge, sacred events (we say, miracles), sacred practice (we say, sacraments), experiences of godly presence, and diverse sacred operations are rarely “one-time” events because, in fact, they are continuous, eternal, immutable, and unchanging.  The sufficiency of divine grace establishes their duration and their standing as having authority and power from the imparted, indwelling Spirit.  Those sinners who require their own experience of what was granted to those who traveled with Moses (manna, truth, and water from the rock) are answered through the Holy Ghost.  Through their consciousness and the correct operations of their self-will, every believer will be an “eye-witness” to the star over Bethlehem, the train of animals that entered the ark, and the conclusion of the shepherd boy’s battle against Goliath.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  John 3:  11-12, King James Version (KJV):  11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.  12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

(2.)  Matthew 13:  10-16, KJV:  10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?  11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.  12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance:  but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.  13 Therefore speak I to them in parables:  because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.  14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:  15 For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.  16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see:  and your ears, for they hear.
