Today, reply is made on the duration and lasting effects of sacred events (miracles).  By the operations of GOD, one-time events that are completely broken off and ended within their physical settings and temporal intervals may endure and exist as continuous, ongoing, and unfinished within consciousness as well as within spirit.  Also, while faith may produce miracles, miracles do not always produce faith.  Miracles often appear as marvels, or wonders that result from the interruption and suspension of the regularities acknowledged as “natural law” among such academic disciplines as Astronomy, Biochemistry, Genetics, and Physics.  However, correctly understood, miracles rarely occur as disturbances or disruptions of divine order.  Miracles expressing the authority and sovereign will of GOD are temporal events directed to carnal, material, and social conditions, and always appear in accordance with divine law, eternal purpose, and sacred process.  Without the preparation that comes through faith, sacred knowledge, and regular practice of divine sacraments, the sudden, unexpected appearance of miracles results in sinners having increased disbelief, fear, skepticism, and spiritual confusion.  The fighter at “Yahoo! If Jesus cured the sick and raised the dead, how come they’re not still alive?

Seems like a perfect man would perform perfect miracles

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed:  and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.  And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.  And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?  For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?  But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.  And he arose, and departed to his house.  But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.  (Matthew 9:  2-8, King James Version, KJV)

“maulporphy”, for Christian believers, the presence of unseen things are being established on the basis of faith, not on the basis of what is seen.  On the one hand, the revelation of divinity to created beings and living creatures addresses multiple aspects of their consciousness (e.g., intellect, logic, imagination, recall), and must use finite devices, events, and tools to make immortal, invisible GOD, who is active presence and spirit, knowable, known, and accessible through regular contact, exchanges and interactions (we say, ongoing relationships).  On the other hand, to apprehend divine fullness (we say, the GODhead; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) one must contain and rely upon their own endowment of spirit substance imparted from the makeup of GOD.  Included are inseparable aspects of Deity such as faith, forbearance, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

The perfection of Jesus Christ (the Father, or the Holy Spirit) must be known using discernment and sacred (not secular) knowledge.  The manifesting of GOD in the Son is more than a matter of the Savior’s deeds and works to benefit mankind; for the divine operations of Creation, judgment, salvation, and eternal life are grounded in proclamation, promise, prophecy, and actualizing utterance (word).  Both the ministry of Jesus on the earth, and the spiritual gifts that have been received by his followers are in the nature of a partial payment, or “good faith” deposit.  In addition to acts of faith and prophetic demonstrations, the revelation of GOD through Jesus Christ has shared admonition, exorcism (casting out unclean spirits), commanded expectations (we say, hope), healing, judgment, preaching, sacred events (we say, miracles) as well as raising the dead.  Yet to be seen are the conclusion of final judgment, the second death, and the distribution of rewards to those who have worked for Christ.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  2nd Corinthians 1:  21-22, King James Version (KJV):  21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;  22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

(2.)  Romans 1:  18-21, KJV:  18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;  19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.  20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:  21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

(3.)  Ephesians 1:  9-14, KJV:  9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:  10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:  11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:  12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.  13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation:  in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,  14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

There is much more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  1st Corinthians 2:  7-14, KJV:  7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:  8 Which none of the princes of this world knew:  for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.  9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.  10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit:  for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.  11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.  12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.  13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.  14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:  for they are foolishness unto him:  neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, reply is made on the Old and New Testament being both part of a single divine revelation wherein GOD is Father to all.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “OkieDevil” (Level 2 with 839 points, a member since January 21, 2017) posted the following:

Why do Christians still worship the Old Testament when Jesus says the God of the OT is the Devil? NOT His God…?

John 8 41-44 “The only Father we have is God himself.” 42Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me. 43Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. 44You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.  For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;  Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;  And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:  And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.  For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.  (Ephesians 2:  13-18, King James Version, KJV)

“OkieDevil”, here are some ideas that have helped many avoid spiritual confusion:  there is only one complete divine revelation.  Because a believer’s focus on the things of GOD must be broad and inclusive, it also must be strictly ordered and structured.  Mature Christian believers are called into the understanding that created beings and living creatures must receive from GOD the revelation that makes knowable and known the fullness and totality of divinity (we say, the GODhead—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit).  The sacred knowledge provided to mankind through promise, prophecy, and the holy writings bring together multiple streams of truth that extend to events before the frameworks of time and space.  GOD shares a divine perspective on natural occurrences, sacred operations, and eternal purposes using thousands of events, occurring within thousands of lives, over the course of thousands of years.

Given Deity is immutable, incorruptible, and unchanging, many elements are fixed that display diversity (like the rose or tulips), not change; and there are continuous, incomplete unfolding (we say, progression), rather than discrete, one-time events.  Because relationships with mankind are interrupted by mortality (death, disease, dying), devices and mechanisms have been employed to establish continuity and stability that include covenants, dynasty, family, inheritance, priesthood, and sanctification.

We speak of intimate and personal relationship with GOD to acknowledge that divinity is more than an abstract, academic, and hypothetical construct.  Even so, GOD is an invisible, yet, active presence (we also say, breath, life essence, a spirit, word) who must be known and “seen” by his divine fruitage (effects, outcomes, products).  Consider again the following:

(1.)  Deuteronomy 14:  1-2, King James Version (KJV):  1 Ye are the children of the LORD your God:  ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.  2 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.

(2.)  Romans 10:  2-4,  KJV:  2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.  3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.  4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

(3.)  Romans 11:  28-33, KJV:  28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes:  but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father’s sakes.  29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.  30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:  31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.  32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.  33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Justified.jpg

Today, thoughts are shared on the Ten Commandments as an Incarnation of divinity.  Obedience to the law of GOD provides many different benefits.  Even so, simply obeying the law does not completely and correctly realign created beings and living creatures to be eternal life companions to an immortal, incorruptible Creator.  Justification with GOD is an expression of acceptance and approval through divine grace, and is not based on a percentage or statistics that describe a sinner’s obedience of sacred law.  The demands that result in fruitful relationship with divinity go beyond the obligations from the law described as good deeds and works, and that emerge from finite desire, intellect, imagination, logic, passion, or carnal reason.  Believers also must continually display inseparable aspects of spirit content from the makeup of GOD.  Included are faith, forbearance, holiness, hope, joy, lovingkindness, righteousness, and wisdom.  Many have condemned sacred law as “cursed”, because the frameworks for exposing and identifying “sin” did not also eliminate divine judgment, justify the living as godly and righteous, and shield the living from the perpetual wrath of GOD against sin.  While all divine law has been provided to enable recognition and rejection of sin, and did include statements describing consequences and effects of its disobedience/obedience (we say, sanctions), the law did not embody or operate like sin by opposing the continued existence of GOD and the created universe.  Jesus Christ would come as an incarnation of divinity who would die on the cross both to fulfill divine law, and to further reveal atonement and propitiation for mankind’s sin.  A fighter at “Yahoo! Answers (India)” using the ID “STEVAN” (Level 4 with 3,064 points, a member since October 17, 2007) posted the following:

How many of Moses’s ten commandments have you personally broken?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.  For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:  That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.  And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.  (Romans 8:  1-10, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Making and Keeping Justice? (05/25/2017); Carrying Out Divine Law? (03/20/2017); Called, Justified, and Glorified? (01/08/2017); Grace is Not Against Law (07/23/2014); Cruel and Offensive (07/24/2014); When Is A Law The LAW? (03/25/2014); Saul of Tarsus (03/26/2014)

STEVAN”, here are some ideas you may not find familiar, yet, should build up your thinking about the Ten Commandments:  The unseen precepts, principles, and spirit of the law are as important as the audible statement and wording of the law (it’s letter).  The law embodies divinity (is an Incarnation, an appearance of GOD using a familiar form).  To break one commandment from GOD is to break all the commandments.  This is because the law must be received as having internal coherence, harmony, integrity, sacred substance (we say, breath, spirit, word), and stability.  For mature Christian believers, the same principle of oneness without sameness that describes the existence of divine persons within the fullness of Deity (we say, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) is to be acknowledged when considering the sacred law expressing divine will that was imparted to mankind through Moses as covenant and inheritance.

Many lack sacred knowledge and indulge spiritual confusion when it comes to divine law.  They take up the law as an inorganic abstraction.  To provide academic explanations and secular instruction, the law becomes analyzed, “broken down” and compartmentalized  into specific judgments, ordinances, regulations, rules, and statutes.  Comparison (grouping things to show how they are alike), contrast (pairing things to show how they are different), and efforts to detail subtleties (i.e., barely visible differences; hidden and sudden shifts in meaning, quality, and value) introduce language and overlays that give the law a false appearance of complexity, contradiction, and incompleteness.  More than this, the person and active presence of divinity are denied.  By his insistence on carrying out the righteousness of the law, Jesus Christ reinforced the consciousness of law as personal and living.

The purposes and workings of the law pertain to judgment as the assigning of value, determining continuity and duration, resolving conflicts and settling disputes in accordance with divine order, and the endorsement of the makeup and substance of created beings and living creatures as being “justified”.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  Mark 12:  28-32, King James Version (KJV):  28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?  29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:  30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength:  this is the first commandment.  31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.  32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth:  for there is one God; and there is none other but he:

(2.)  Matthew 5:  18-20, KJV:  18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.  19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven:  but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.  20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

(3.)  Romans 13:  8-10, KJV:   Owe no man any thing, but to love one another:  for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.  9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour:  therefore love is the fulfilling of the law

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  James 2:  8-11, KJV:  8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:  9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.  10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.  11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, the different generations are considered that appeared while GOD was creating the Covenant of Moses.  Along with the account of deliverance from Egypt, there also are important accounts of judgment against idolatry, lack of faith, and spiritual confusion.  Over a span of 40 years, various principles of divine ruling were quietly introduced that included requiring accountability and commitment in the expression of mature love, acknowledging collective responsibility (e.g., that an entire group may be held liable for the conduct of a single member), confession, the inheritance of spiritual promises in place of material goods, intercessory prayer, mercy, redemption, and discharging or fulfilling sacred obligation through a remnant.  GOD is revealed as the true source of all genuine inheritance for mankind.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers (Malaysia)” who uses the ID “stevan” (Level 1 with 3 points, a member since June 12, 2016) posted the following:

Moses got lost in the desert for 40 years. Is it actually possible to lost for so long?

He must have been a tard

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.  For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it?  Did ever people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as thou hast heard, and live?  Or hath God assayed to go and take him a nation from the midst of another nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?  Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him.  Out of heaven he made thee to hear his voice, that he might instruct thee:  and upon earth he shewed thee his great fire; and thou heardest his words out of the midst of the fire.  And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt;  To drive out nations from before thee greater and mightier than thou art, to bring thee in, to give thee their land for an inheritance, as it is this day.  Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath:  there is none else.  Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, for ever.  (Deuteronomy 4:  31-40, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Divine Law Expresses Love (05/10/2017); Kingdom and One-world Empire (09/08/2016); Slaves to Sin? (04/13/2015); Adam, Pharaoh and All Mankind? (01/28/2015); The Sheep Who Lost Their Way? (11/18/2014); Restoring The Lost? (11/19/2014); Face to Face Like Moses? (01/28/2014); Covenants and Relationships (01/29/2014)

“stevan”, GOD has been revealed as a deity who operates through law, judgment, and promise.  There are many points of sacred knowledge a person must have to correctly understand the account of GOD creating a new nation upon the earth by extracting a people from the populations of Egypt.  Only GOD the Creator can provide an inheritance to the offspring of Adam.  The twelve tribes of Jacob were interrelated, yet, were not “family” in the model of “one dad, one mom, and their kids” who all share within one dwelling place.  Egypt was a “one-world empire” that directly controlled the lives of its citizens, and influenced every aspect of life for those within every other existing nation.  During the years of extreme famine, in order to survive the Egyptian people willingly sold to Pharaoh their own livestock, property, and even themselves as slaves.  In the belief systems of Egypt, Pharaoh and the royal family became “gods”, and were the only persons who could be “heirs” within the economic system of their nation.  The Hebrews and other ethnic groups who had struggled to assimilate, copy, “fit in,” and be “accepted” by adopting the customs and practices of the Egyptians, would have to be separated and undergo an extended process of cleansing, growth, healing, and transformation.  Therefore, from the beginning of their exodus, those who would become the covenant people by acknowledging the divine “pass over” and leaving Egypt were a mixed multitude (we say, included Gentiles).

Throughout the Bible, a generation is a span of 40 years.  At the same time there was a generation who wandered (those aligned with Moses); there was a generation who transgressed, was judged, and saw the wrath of GOD (the “then known world” represented in Egypt and Pharaoh); a generation who violated an existing covenant (the 7 tribes living in Canaan); and a generation that would be heirs of the full set of divine promises begun in Adam, continued in Noah and amplified through Abraham.  Those who wandered were never “lost” in the sense of GOD being unable to find them; instead, it is that, they would not be taken directly and immediately into the land of inheritance that was promised to them.  As surely as GOD was always present in their midst through the Tabernacle, he guided their movements through the pillars of cloud and fire.  Because the number of men who would serve as the army of Israel was more than ½ million, the entire group of men women and children who left Egypt is estimated to have been some 3½ million.  From that number, only 2 men of the original group would stand upon their own property within the Promised Land.  Even the prophet Moses and Aaron the High Priest were both disqualified.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Exodus 12:  37-41, King James Version (KJV):  37 And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children.  38 And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.  39 And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual.  40 Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.  41 And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.

(2.)  Numbers 14:  22-24, KJV:  22 Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice;  23 Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:  24 But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Deuteronomy 7:  1-10, KJV:  1 When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;  2 And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:  3 Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.  4 For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods:  so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.  5 But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.  6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God:  the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.  7 The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:  8 But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.  9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;  10 And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them:  he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, a response is shared on the message of reconciliation provided by Jesus Christ, and the ministry of reconciliation to be carried out by believers.  There is an irrevocable condemnation against sin, and a standing sentence of death from GOD that applies to all mankind.  Both judgment and mercy are provided to establish balance against the mechanical specificity and wrath of the law, for correctly understood, the divine law is exceeding excellent, impossible to take an opposing view about and inarguable.  In spite of humanity’s imperfection, inability to independently repent, and lack of a self-will when separate from GOD that can bring about permanent change to correctly resist and eliminate sin, GOD is reconciled to mankind on the basis of the love, perfection and divine righteousness of Jesus Christ.  Mankind is reconciled to GOD “by the death of Jesus Christ” as the living acknowledge the atonement and propitiation for sin purchased with his sufferings, and through his blood from the cross.  More than this, believers are reconciled “by the life of Jesus” as they show themselves to be vessels of divinity through their lifestyles and daily routines that display praise, eternal purpose, sacred knowledge, thanksgiving, and unselfish service.  The fighter at “Yahoo! [Later, this writer also posted:   there is the gospel of Jesus Christ, the first definition for many people to believe its the resurrection of Jesus. then there is the gospel, good news, the gospel of remission of sins, and of course Paul says he has his own gospel, and now they were also given the ministry of reconciliation. four different types of the message of Jesus Christ.]

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:  old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.  And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;  To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.  Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us:  we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.  For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.  (2nd Corinthians 5:  17-21, King James Version, KJV)

“witness of jesus”, many Christian believers understand the “reconciliation” of divinity to mankind and Creation as being depicted by the process of lovers who have quarreled, and must “kiss and make up.”  Spiritual confusion often results from that idea, because there is a subtle emphasis upon discounting, dismissing, forgetting, and ignoring sin.  The operations of sin absolutely must be recognized, resisted, and eliminated.  GOD is the origin and source for all that has existence, life, authority, power, presence, and duration.   Sin is no material object or spirit substance, has not been put forth by divinity, yet the operations of sin have “direction” and “effect“, and may dominate awareness and self-will within created beings and living creatures.  Sin opposes the continuation of all divine order established and maintained through sacred law, promotes nonexistence, and restores conditions and patterns in place before creation.

The “reconciliation” demonstrated through the ministry of Jesus Christ is far from being an acceptance or endorsement of sin as a natural, normal condition for mankind.  Sin is contrary to man’s intended character and makeup.  By appearing in flesh as the Son of Man, the GODhead has provided an acknowledgement of existing conditions, the continued excellence of human potential and divine possibility, the need for permanent change, and that only through divinity asserting accountability can there be recovery for Adam from the fall, and salvation that restores mankind as a companion to immortal, incorruptible GOD.  In the same way, GOD is to be seen as accountable, mankind is to manifest a new level of integrity, and acknowledge his own level of accountability.

The ministry of “reconciliation” through Jesus Christ is the ongoing transformation of mankind, and the imparting of Eternal Life through fresh endowments of sprit substance from the makeup of GOD.  Included are faith, forbearance, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Sinners must experience rebirth that entails the death, burial, and resurrection of their inherited, inborn spirit (we also say, breath, life essence, word).  While the divine invitation through grace is “come as you are,” it is to be understood, the sinner may not “stay as you are.”  Those “born again” also must “grow up again” as vessels of divine spirit upon the earth.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Genesis 6:  5-8, King James Version (KJV):  5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.  6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.  7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.  8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

(2.)  Genesis 18:  23-26, KJV:  23 And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?  24 Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city:  wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?  25 That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked:  and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee:  Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?  26 And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.

(3.)  1st Corinthians 15:  21-22, KJV:  21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.  22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Romans 5:  7-10, KJV:  7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die:  yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.  8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.  10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed – Daniel 2:  28

Today, focus is on divine law that responds to the human error of acknowledging things in the natural world as being “gods”.   For the first pair, the basis for ongoing relationship as companions to the Creator were such gifts as grace, divine love, promise, and respect.  The offense committed by Adam and Eve was their turning away from GOD within their desires, feeling, and thoughts—immaterial aspects of their makeup—and endorsing things as having sovereign authority because they were carnal, material, social, and visible.  The process of GOD to recover mankind and the Creation must address the origins and sources of their error in terms of the divine endowment that was lost, their lack of sacred knowledge, and their need to be replenished with spirit substance from divinity.  Strangely enough, the making and worship of graven images is not the expression of denying GOD and unbelief so much as it is the expression of being in spiritual confusion, being deceived, desiring a right relationship with divinity, and being separated from GOD by differences in spirit content —the absence of oneness without sameness, not just the inequalities of awareness and self-will (will power).  The same drive to know GOD was in Abraham, and is seen through his digging of wells for water, his journeying as a nomad seeking the City of GOD, his building and consecration of altars along with his willingness to sacrifice the son received as a gift from GOD.  At no time did the Patriarch pursue false gods, or man-made objects thought to contain and conceal divine beings.  The response of GOD to mankind through Jesus Christ continues to be through sacred law and immutable promises.  The writer at “Yahoo! Does “Do not put other gods before me” mean there are other Gods?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by his understanding.  When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens; and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth:  he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.  Every man is brutish by his knowledge; every founder is confounded by the graven image:  for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.  They are vanity, the work of errors:  in the time of their visitation they shall perish.  The portion of Jacob is not like them; for he is the former of all things:  and Israel is the rod of his inheritance:  the LORD of hosts is his name.  Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war:  for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;  (Jeremiah 51:  15-20, King James Version, KJV)

“Good As Gold”, from the beginning with Adam, Eve, and the serpent, mankind has repeatedly erred by responding to figures and objects in the natural world as if they were divine.  Using such finite tools as “carnal reason,” fantasy, imagination, and “critical thinking,” man has sought to acquire and control sacred knowledge by secular means.  Those who insist that secular knowledge, material objects, and social relationships are acceptable as a foundation for the living sphere that is the universe have shown themselves willing to worship idols (e.g., a tree, a man-made object like the computer, or a cherished, chosen loved one).  Divine law that was provided for encouragement, guidance and nourishment of the first pair included “sanctions” (i.e., statements describing consequences and effects that would result by obedience/disobedience); yet, divine law has not proclaimed simply to bully, coerce , “crack the whip,” and threaten the weak.  The foundation for life was to be divine love, sacred promise, and continuous relationship through spirit (we also say, breath, life essence, word).  Mature Christian believers acknowledge the law of GOD as a peculiar appearance of Deity that allows created beings and living creatures to continue in communication and exchange with their immortal, incorruptible, invisible Creator.  Law as a tool in the process of GOD is provided for revelation (i.e., disclosure, divine self-exposure, sharing otherwise secret knowledge), reshaping the consciousness and self-will of the living, introducing and maintaining permanent changes in receptiveness to GOD as well as preparing the entire universe for the further transformations that will manifest divine fullness.  The GOD we serve as joint-heirs with Jesus Christ is a GOD who reveals himself through law and judgment.  Where men will practice obedience to divine law—even where they lack formal education and a detailed knowledge of the law—they become conformable to standards that express the character, nature, and substance of the persons that make up full divinity (we say, the GODhead, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit).   Consider again the following:

(1.)   Exodus 34:  5-8, King James Version (KJV):  5 And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.  6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,  7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.  8 And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.

(2.)  Galatians 3:  16-23, KJV:  16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.  17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.  18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise:  but God gave it to Abraham by promise.  19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.  20 Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.  21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid:  for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.  22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.  23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Psalms 115:  1-8, KJV:  1 Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake.  2 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?  3 But our God is in the heavens:  he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.  4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.  5 They have mouths, but they speak not:  eyes have they, but they see not:  6 They have ears, but they hear not:  noses have they, but they smell not:  7 They have hands, but they handle not:  feet have they, but they walk not:  neither speak they through their throat.  8 They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, focus is on the loving purpose and severity of divine law provided those who left Egypt with Moses.  The mixed multitude that followed Moses and Aaron numbered more than six hundred thousand whom GOD would use as a military force and an instrument of divine judgment; and the total of number of men, women and children together were as many as three and a half million who would be transformed to exist as a new nation.  Corruption, idolatry, and lawlessness were so widespread among the people that their survival required a comprehensive and detailed law from GOD that was to be obeyed as shared duty and mandatory, not as a matter of private opinion and personal preference.  The fighter at “Yahoo! 7 Answers (Australia)” using the ID “Hugo610i3” (Level 1 with 20 points, a member since August 18, 2016) posted the following:

Since god is love why does he treat jews in exodus very bad?

The children that curse die

women can get her hands cut off if they break up a fight betwen 2 males if they grab one by the balls

You can own slaves until 7 years, beat them, and have sex (a literally slave, its written in the bible, check it out) with no consent, if you have children with them after the 7 years and you free your slave, you can keep your child even if the slave wants it back.

You cant go to church if you dont private parts.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it.  Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.  For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for?  And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?  Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life:  but teach them thy sons, and thy sons’ sons;  Specially the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.  (Deuteronomy 4:  5-10, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Held Accountable by GOD? (03/31/2017); Kingdom and One-world Empire (09/08/2016); Slaves to Sin? (04/13/2015); Adam, Pharaoh and All Mankind? (01/28/2015); Divine Love Seen As Hate? (01/29/2015); A Hardened Spirit? (06/12/2014); Mary (06/13/2014)

“Hugo630i3”, the work of the law once was to continue intimate relationship with GOD, was redirected to enable mankind being in peace upon the earth, and now reinforces the salvation and transformation of created beings and living creatures who are unable to eliminate sin apart from divinity.  Through operations of the Holy Spirit on behalf of Jesus Christ, Christian believers experience rebirth and permanent change whereby they become able to correctly recognize and respond to divine law as both the love of GOD, and the express will of GOD.  Divine commandments and the word of GOD (we also say, life essence, spark of life, spirit) have been imparted to mankind from the first moments when GOD breathed sacred substance from the makeup of Deity into the form that had been fashioned as a vessel that could become a “living soul.”  Included are awareness, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, self-will, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  The purpose of what we now realize as “law” has always been to establish mankind in the same oneness without sameness that exists among the persons of the GODhead (we say, Father, Son, Holy Spirit).

Egypt represents spiritual confusion.  The twelve tribes of Jacob and the mixed multitude from various nations that left Egypt with Moses had been struggling to survive in a human cesspool, so to speak.  Egypt became an empire that controlled the “then known world” through the policies of the Pharaoh and its dominating influence over exchange, language, politics, religious belief, and trade.  During the years of famine, the Egyptian people and others had sold their land, property, themselves and their children to Pharaoh, who numbered himself among the gods and idols to be worshipped.  While the Hebrews remained free, and were despised as handlers of livestock, they nonetheless sought to assimilate (fit in) and be successful as if they were Egyptians also.

The calling out of the Hebrews is a display of the divine mercy that may only appear through consecrated judgment.  Rather than repeat the destruction of all mankind and the entire world as seen with the flood of Noah’s day, GOD chose the sons of Jacob to serve as an ark and vessel to preserve divine law, demonstrate salvation, and thereby express divine prerogative, saving grace, and sovereign will.  Those leaving Egypt were drawn by GOD in the same way as the animals and wild beasts that assembled in pairs to board the ship built by Noah and his sons, and like the animals of the earth, were to be in covenant relationship with GOD as a remnant.  Where those from Egypt can be regarded as the “clean” beasts, those from the seven tribes who, then, occupied the “promised land” as covenant partners to GOD may be thought of as the “unclean” who were to be replaced by those of the new, Mosaic covenant.  Consider the following from the Bible:

(1.)  Deuteronomy 7:  1-5, King James Version (KJV):  1 When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;  2 And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:  3 Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.

(2.)  Deuteronomy 7:  6-10, KJV:  6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God:  the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. 9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;  10 And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them:  he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.

(3.)  1st John 1:  3-10, KJV:  3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us:  and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.  4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.  5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.  6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:  7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.  8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  1st John 3:  7-11, KJV:  7 Little children, let no man deceive you:  he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.  8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.  9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him:  and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.  10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil:  whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.  11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
