Today, I share thoughts in response to the blog by Marcus Ampe at guestwriters.com posted February 02, 2016, Justification – salvation is by grace through faith – JI Packer.  In my present developing Christian awareness, justification pertains to grace, more than to adjudication and formal investigations for truth-finding aimed at establishing conclusive declarations of innocence or guilt.  Works called forth and motivated by faith do not deliver, they display; and the act of being (i.e., existing) is not work.  Rather than an outcome of judgment (i.e., the application of divine law to resolve conflicts and settle disputes), an aspect of deliverance and salvation, or an overlaying of divinity that serves as atonement, justification is the acknowledgment of correct composition and disposition as emergent from GOD.  Properly understood, the things justified by Deity are themselves all appearances and aspects of that that is divine.  Included, therefore, are such elements as covenant, events, forbearance, forgiveness, imparted spirit, miracles, praise, sacred promise, prophecy, eternal purpose, sacraments, and divine utterance.  Hear that a different way:  Covenant is justified; covenant-keeping is justified; covenant law is holy, and just, and good; covenant-breaking is not.  Forbearance and forgiveness are justified—along with all the many acts of GOD to benefit Creation, including Incarnation, damnation, virgin birth, and the second death—defiance, disobedience, idolatry, and rebellion are not.  Ampe’s presentation suggests that some believers seek to justify and save themselves by faith without works, and he begins with the following:

Today there is still lots of commotion about works and faith. Still too many Christians do think they do not need any works.
The Catholic church, we must say, has from the beginning seen that certain works were necessary. One can not become a Christian without putting the previous life of sin away by having regret, asking for forgiveness of sins and taking steps to show regret (an act to be taken), opening oneself for remission by going for a baptism (a work).

Not only Rome sees baptism as a channel of sanctifying grace, as the primary instrumental cause of justification, and the sacrament of penance, whereby congruous merit is achieved through works of satisfaction, as the supplementary restorative cause whenever the grace of God’s initial acceptance is lost through mortal sin.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law:  that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.  Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight:  for by the law is the knowledge of sin.  But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;  Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe:  for there is no difference:  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;  Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:  Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;  To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness:  that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.  Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay:  but by the law of faith.  Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.  (Romans 3:  19-28, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Salvation Only Through Christ? (01/07/2016); Actions Make Divine Essence Visible? (12/18/2015); Justified Through Christ? (08/26/2015); Justifying GOD? (03/15/2015); Justification? (12/12/2010); Faith Forced? (12/13/2010)

In the emphasis I propose, justification through the active presence and operations of divine grace in the life pertains to the substance of ones existence, and is not a matter of external actions by GOD applied to alter living content as with rebirth and regeneration.  Believers in Christ are to put away the notion of using a standard to measure, rank, and compare themselves against one another, for the Scriptures also speak of GOD being justified.  In the same way, human babies discover and explore their own composition and makeup directing their hands, digits, elbows, and feet into their own mouths, divinity seeks out that that is divine, consumes, inbreathes, ingests and internalizes it, then emanates, beams forth and out-breathes what was sought as pre-chosen and “elect”.  In the holy writings, a condition of being justified is described using such words as anointed, blameless, consecrated, good, innocent, just, pure, repentant, and sanctified.  Applied to finite beings and living creatures, neither having full sacred knowledge, nor a state of ones substance as completely holy and perfected are intended.  Grace and faith should be understood as aspects of our condition as a new creation, not merely as aspects of divinity that operate on our behalf.  Thus, works are the appearance of that that is, not merely efforts and operations of self-will to achieve and accomplish a higher state.  Grace, faith and righteousness are the very substance of GOD.  Consider again the following verses from the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible:

(1.)  Job 25:  4-6, KJV:  4 How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?  5 Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.  6 How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?

(2.)  Job 32:  1-3, KJV:  1 So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.  2 Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram:  against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.  3 Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.

(3.)  Ephesians 2:  8-10, KJV):  8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:  it is the gift of God:   9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.  10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, to say, “tribulation worketh patience,” states that existing spirit substance is aroused, increased, and nourished as in (4.) Romans 5:  1-3, KJV:  5 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:  2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.  3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also:  knowing that tribulation worketh patience;)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Scripture points on the danger in confessing Jesus Christ during the end times are considered, today.  What we call persecution, suffering and tribulation are more correctly understood as the continuing condition that describes life for all followers of Jesus Christ.  In the same way, conditions pre-exist before the birth of every child that appear as the fixed framework, limit and mold for their development and growth, the sacred process that believers must complete for eternal life includes what we call the “trial by fire” in the end times.  The judgment of GOD that focuses upon good works accomplished during a person’s lifetime occurs after the second death that destroys the wicked, and is only for those who have been made immortal and incorruptible at the Second Coming of Jesus to harvest the earth.  One of the fighters at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Anonymous” (the usual profile information not shared) posted the following:

Christians: if you get killed for confessing Jesus will you go to heaven?

Like if an antichrist decides to imprison and kill Christians, will the dead Christian automatically go to heaven just for dying for Jesus

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For other foundation can no man lay than that that is laid, which is in Christ Jesus.  Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;  Every man’s work shall be made manifest:  for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every an man’s work of what sort it is.  If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.  If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss:  but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.  (1st Corinthians 3:  11-15, KJV)

“Anonymous”, completing our mortality, enduring suffering or surviving tribulation are not enough to establish the necessary relationship to divinity that will continue as eternal life.  The believer must become reborn having the Spirit of Christ, and become perfected (we also say, made ripe for harvest at the coming of the Lord) through operations of the Holy Spirit.  Thus, salvation for mankind comes only by the operations of GOD through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit (we say, by grace, through faith).  A believer’s obedience to divine law, prayer life, sacred knowledge from study of the Bible, spiritual observances, sacred practices, and charitable works have value as expressions that crystallize and make visible to others the new life a believer has begun through divine rebirth, and sanctification that may take all the remaining years of their life upon the earth.  The work to endure performed by those in the flock of the Lord entails accomplishing commitment, dutifulness, faithfulness, hearing his voice, loyal love, and steadfastness.  Here are a few points to consider from the holy writings:

(1.)  John 17:  19-23, King James Version (KJV):  19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.  20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;  21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us:  that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.  22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:  23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

(2.)  Matthew 24:  11-14, KJV:  11 And many false prophets shall arise and deceive many.  12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.  13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.  14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

(3.)  Mark 13:  9-13, KJV:  9 But take heed to yourselves:  for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten:  and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.  10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.  11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought before hand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate:  but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye:  for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.  12  Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.  13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake:  but he that shall endure, the same shall be saved.

(4.)  Matthew 5:  10-12, KJV:  10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake:  for their’s is the kingdom of heaven.  11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.  12 Rejoice and be exceeding glad:  for great is your reward in heaven:  for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  Revelation 14:  12-16, KJV:  12 Here is the patience of the saints:  here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.  13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth:  Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.  14 And I looked and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.  15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap:  for the time of  is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.  16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, Scripture points are shared on betrayal, faithfulness, and divine integrity.  Focused upon their fear, need and pain, those who otherwise would be believers trusting completely in the merits of Jesus Christ are inclined by their own flesh (e.g., appetite, sensation, emotional/mental functions) along with their material and social world to make no offering to GOD, to approach divinity with arrogance and presumption, to repeatedly present themselves as victims not as potential servants, and to seek “something for nothing.”  One of several fighters at “Yahoo! Answers” who use the ID “Anonymous” (required profile information withheld) posted the following:

How I was betrayed by God?

I went through a hard life growing up, a mean, abusive father that I had to forgive and love, and a mother who abandoned her children, who I made a choice to forgive and love. I made a conscious choice to forgive others, to do right, and to live by honesty and truth. I didnt just do these things to be right with myself, I did them because it felt good to help others.

But nothing, for many years changed. I was sabotaged at work over and over again by people who cut corners and did wrong, I had to leave my jobs. I was targeted for bullying and harassment for doing kind, selfless deeds, I was taken advantage of and called naive. I was set up, beaten and broken by those who told me they loved me, friends, family and spouse. No matter how many discretions I overlooked and forgave, there were a thousand more headed my way. After years of abuse by anyone and everyone, I just gave up. I was so lost and still am, wondering how people can be cruel to others who are helping them, giving to them, not just my time and energy, but food, clothes, money, rides, anything that person needed to help themself. But I was being slandered, made fun of, had my personal life destroyed by liars and cheaters, and ganged up by their friends whom they lied to for support and left for dead.

This all happened when I decided to live by Gods laws, be a better person, forgive, help, and love others.

Am I missing something here?

Update:  Or is it just stupid to help and serve others….

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:  But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.  If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you:  on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.  But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters.  Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.  For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God:  and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?  And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?  Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.  (1st Peter 4:  12-19, KJV)

“Anonymous”, there are many Christian believers and non-believers who gladly give testimony of abuse and hardship in their life experience upon the earth.  The animal aspects and carnal nature in created beings and living creatures that center in self-will, often relies upon such accounts to relieve oneself as well as to attract, have advantage over, manipulate, and make hidden attacks (we say, passive aggression) against others.  There are no mature believers in correct relationship with divinity through Jesus Christ that will report their inheritance from GOD has been restricted to such elements as bereavement, depression, despair, desolation, and hopelessness.  Those who speak of personal tragedies and suffering do so to illustrate and testify how GOD became visible, delivered them, and established a continuing support within their own experience.  “Developing believers” (some would say, newbies) often enter the church expressing some devotion while standing upon a platform of feeling and individual insight.  They are created by GOD (as are angels, cats, dogs, lions), however, they are not children of GOD.  Such persons are welcomed to experience covenant and a personal relationship with Deity through acknowledgement, commitment, sacrifice, service and worship.  These must acquire the sacred knowledge and rebirth that will further establish their consciousness of GOD on the basis of a fresh endowment of spirit content from the makeup of Deity.  Expecting only authority, free gifts, happiness, joy, popularity, power and prosperity, these may have entirely missed the many sobering messages that call all into dependence upon divine strength that resides within the Son of GOD:  No cross, no crown.  The new believer must be purged of all selfish desires and vain hopes (i.e., expectations, goals, and purposes contrary to sacred law, divine love and eternal proclamations, promises and prophesies).  Consider again the following Scriptures:

(1.)  Deuteronomy 7:  8-10, King James Version (KJV):  8 But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.  9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;  10 And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them:  he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.

(2.)  Numbers 23:  19, KJV:  23 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent:  hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

(3.)  Ephesians 2:  1-5, KJV:  1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;  2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:  3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.  4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,  5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

(4.)  2nd Corinthians 1:  3-5, KJV:  3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;  4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.  5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

(5.)  Acts 14:  21-23, KJV:  21 And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch,  22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.  23 And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.

(6.)  1st Thessalonians 3:  3-4, KJV:  3 That no man should be moved by these afflictions:  for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto.  4 For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.

There is much more that could be said, and that must be correctly understood and spiritually taken into account.  (For example, (7.)  1st Peter 4:  1-5, KJV:  1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind:  for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;  2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.  3 For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:  4 Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:  5 Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.)  Even so, I trust this collection of verses will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

The apocalypse, endtime prophecies concerning the fifth trumpet, and final judgment against sin are topics, today.  A writer at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Trunks” (Level 1 with 17 points, a member since June 15, 2012) posted the following:

Questions about the fifth trumpet in the apocalypse?

Okay, so I’m from Spain so I read it in spanish (just in case My grammar isn’t good or I said something wrong) The thing is I recently read the trumpets and the fifth sounds the scariest. But then I thought: God wouldn’t be capable of sending grasshopper scorpion tale with crown animals to torture us.

And I think I’m right. God isn’t capable of doing that.

In the Genesis book, he said he would never destroy the Earth.

And it’s right, everything that has happened it’s because of us so here’s my question: What if those grasshopper scorpion tale animal are a failed human experiment?

Like, humans are doing an weird experiment and they made that animal and somehow they escape and reproduce.

I think it makes sense because everything has happened because of us, why wouldn’t the animal be our fault too? What do you think about this theory? I want your opinion and what you think where those will come from. Thanks for reading. (PS. Those things can already exists but they’re locked somewhere)

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.  For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.  Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.  And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.  But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear:  Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.  Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?  But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore:  ye are of more value than many sparrows.  Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:  But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.  And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him:  but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.  (Luke 12:  1-10, KJV)

“Trunks”, here are a few points to consider that are important to many mature Christian believers:

(1.)  Nothing is impossible to GOD.  Sin opposes the continued existence of all divine law, the Law Giver, and all Creation relying upon sacred law for divine order.  Because sin does not exist as material substance a person can hold in his hand, or spirit matter created by GOD, those who rely upon such finite tools as emotion, intellect, mathematics, philosophy and science are convinced that divinity is not able to destroy, eliminate and remove sin.

(2.)  The nature of final judgment.  The divine process to assign value to those objects, created beings and living creatures put forth by Deity requires that their spirit content be examined for agreement, congruence, and identity with divinity.  A divine record (we say, the book of life) detailing ones attitudes, behavior and conduct will be examined as the indicator of ones full spirit content from the makeup of GOD.

(3.)  Chaos will not be allowed.  The angels from the bottomless pit and other divinely created beasts that will torment mankind do so only at the command and direction of GOD.  This will be a final opportunity for mankind to return to GOD.  Those dominated through sin, unrepentant, and no longer endowed with sacred content within their awareness and self-will will be challenged, changed, or destroyed.  There will be no attack against those born again as children of GOD and joint-heirs with Jesus Christ.

(4.)  Believers are not to fear tribulation.  Christians face an enemy who specializes in deceit and spiritual confusion as well as the non-material, non-spirit influence that is sin.  Affliction, hardship and loss become a “normal” feature to prepare Christian believers for the transformation of the world they know along with political oppression, persecution, poverty, and rejection by the world.

(5.)  Prophecy reveals divine intent.  The work of prophecy is not so much predicting the future as making the nature and will of GOD visible to the created.  Along with commandments, proclamations, and promises prophecy declares divine commitments expressed through human events.  To cleanse and heal created beings and living creatures requires multiple sacred operations including atonement, baptism, death, rebirth, redemption, resurrection, salvation and sanctification.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (6.)  Believers are not to worry about the “end of the world.”  Christians are to focus upon the promises of GOD through Jesus Christ, our ongoing lives, and the service to GOD we are to perform.  Born again, believers are to await and prepare for the appearing of Jesus to harvest the earth of those who are his by faith (we say, the Advent, the Rapture, the Second Coming).  Do not be deceived or deluded by the many errors held among your enemies who are enslaved to unbelief.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Acknowledging the earth and heaven as created by Almighty GOD, Scriptures on Scripture is presented, today, focusing upon “the world” as a man-made life system for human communication, exchange, and survival.

SOME THOUGHTS ON

15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof:  but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.  (1st John 2:  15-17, KJV)

Ecclesiastes 3:  10-12  (KJV)  10 I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.   11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time:  also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.  12 I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.

John 12:  19  (KJV)  19 The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.

John 14:  15-18  (KJV)  15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.  16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;  17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him:  but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.  18 I will not leave you comfortless:  I will come to you.

John 14:  25-29  (KJV)  25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.  26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.  27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you:  not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.  28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father:  for my Father is greater than I.  29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.

John 15:  18-20  (KJV)  18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.  19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own:  but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.  20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep your’s also.

John 16:  32-33  (KJV)  32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone:  and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.  33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation:  but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

John 17:  6-15  (KJV)  6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world:  thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.  7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.  8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.  9 I pray for them:  I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.  10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.  11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.  12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name:  those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.  13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.  14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.  15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

Acts 17:  29-31  (KJV)  29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.  30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:  31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

1st Corinthians 1:  18-21  (KJV)  18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.  19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.  20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this  world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?  21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

Again, readers are invited to use the Comments area to add Scriptures they feel are a good fit with the day’s post (see example, below).   There is far more to be said, correctly shared, and spiritually understood.  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.  Jesus is coming soon.

Today, the focus and intent of the Bible comes into view through a question about the siblings of Jesus; and there is more on the statement of Jesus that night cometh.  A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “Kurjack” (Level 2 with 285 points, a member since May 15, 2013) posted the following:

Did Joseph and Mary hire a babysitter when they presented Jesus in the temple?

Luke 2:22 When he was twelve years old, they went up to the festival, according to the custom. 43 After the festival was over, while his parents were returning home, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem, but they were unaware of it. 44 Thinking he was in their company, they traveled on for a day.

Did Joseph and Mary hire a babysitter to take care of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon and his sisters? If Joseph and Mary had at least six children other than Jesus, then why did they not bring them when they went to the Jewish Festival? Surely they would have had to have at least one other child by the time Jesus was twelve years old if they were to have at least six children in addition to Jesus.

So I guess that there is no solid answer proves that the Catholics are right that Jesus was an only child.

THE BATTLE AXE:  Night Cometh (06/11/2013)— (5)  For Jesus, night was that time when he could be alone for communion with the Father in prayer.  By declaring to his disciples that “night” was approaching, Jesus further exhorted his followers to be diligent, dutiful and faithful in their ministry as witnesses.  Anchored in spiritual truths from GOD, believers are to stay alert, and to be watchful.  Thus, his warning against the night is also an encouragement to continue in holy service that will resist and overcome bereavement, imprisonment, opposition, persecution, and divine wrath revealed as tribulation.  See Nehemiah 4:  1-23, Matthew 26:  36-45, Mark 13:  31-37 and Luke 21:  5-38, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.  And further, by these, my son, be admonished:  of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.  Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:  Fear God, and keep his commandments:  for this is the whole duty of man.  For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.  (Ecclesiastes 12:  11-14, King James Version)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Jesus, A Party Animal? (05/03/2013); Jesus Lives! (05/04/2013); Why Jesus Authored No Books? (05/01/2013); Recognizing True Prophets (05/02/2013); The Childhood of Jesus? (03/06/2013); Non-existent Debt? (03/07/2013); Missing Years? (02/25/2011); A Reborn Heart (02/26/2011)

Kurjack, here are some points relied upon by many mature Christian believers to maintain proper focus, and avoid spiritual confusion:

(1)  The holy writings are not intended for amusement and entertainment as are secular biography, history, novels and short stories.  The Bible focuses upon sacred events, divine operations, and the eternal purposes of divinity as demonstrated and portrayed upon the earth, and through mankind.

(2)  Often, what unbelievers call “missing” information has not been included in the divine record because, it merely fosters awareness of the world and the flesh, and does not promote correct focus upon divine intent and sacred process.  While many questions a reader might ask are answered by “common sense;” there are others that must be examined, condemned and avoided as carrying no useful information, yet, generating confusion, doubt, waste, and unbelief.  Also, what appears as “missing” to those in unbelief, is continually provided through the imparted, indwelling Spirit from GOD.

(3)  The Bible is a divine tool given to mankind, and that functions in harmony with ones spirit substance.  Data, facts, academic information with intellectual and mental process are not the most essential aspect of the Bible.  The Scriptures are to convey and install added spirit content from the make-up and person of GOD.  Included are consciousness of GOD, faith, holiness, hope (i.e., expectation), longsuffering, wisdom and wrath against sin.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4)  The Scriptures focus upon Jesus as the first-born; and, while there is no direct mention of “bar-mitzvah”, Jesus was at an age to be publicly recognized as a son-of-the law.  The law established from the time of Moses demanded attendance of all the first-born at annual festivals acknowledging GOD.  By the judgment against the first-born of Egypt, GOD proclaimed his place in covenant relationship as one of authority, awe, and terrible majesty.  Every first-born in Israel was to serve as the heir to their own natural father, and would inherit the promises of GOD, including responsibility as caretaker for the promised land, heads of families and households, and peculiar duties of anointed priesthood.)   Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today’s presentation is brief, and consists in a BATTLE AXE and GOLDEN ARROW to accompany Struggling?

THE BATTLE AXE: Struggling? (05/11/2013)—(5.) Born again, the Christian believer must acquire the habit and routine of acting on principle, and doing only those things in agreement with their own divine nature, sacred knowledge, and eternal purpose. It is in this sense, believers are guided as though they were sheep, and do not lean upon their own understanding. The authority of doctrine and truth are to be acknowledged at all times, and does not depend upon any other believer’s expertise, office, rankings and titles as clergy. The same truth has been established and made available to all. When there are issues and questions that generate uncertainty, the believer must rely upon the full pattern of truth they have received. Saying this another way, they must place their trust in GOD, having knowledge of the divine commitment, the consecrated goals, and the things that are pleasing to GOD. See Proverbs 3: 5, 1st Thessalonians 4: 3-8, John 3: 16-21, Titus 2: 11-14, and 1st Peter 2: 1-17, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And there came thither certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead. Howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into the city: and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe. And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch, Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God. (Acts 14: 19-22, KJV)

I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
