Today, reply is made on why communities of faith must maintain endowments of money and property.  The church is in an hostile environment upon the earth, and must maintain a peculiar independence and separation not merely for her financial, material, and physical survival.  Other belief systems compete against and threaten Christian belief with destruction and violence including Atheism, Islam, Judaism, LGBTQ, occultism, those committed to sorcery and witchcraft, and even geo-political States (governments, nations).  Critical emotional, psychological, and spiritual growth within the church continually requires there be immediate access and availability of resources and tools for communication, instruction, practice, and worship.  The fighter at “Yahoo! “James”, the church is an expression of the sovereign will of our Creator; and is both “one of a kind,” and irreplaceable.  The “good works” we see through the church go beyond charitable-giving, philanthropy, and social work.  Correctly understood, the works that are to be performed by Christian assemblies and congregations convey and transmit spirit substance from the makeup of divinity, and do not center simply upon carnal, material, and social things.  Sinners who submit to the discipline and instruction shared among believers become immersed within a lifestyle, sacred practices, and daily routines that display the spirit substance we acknowledge as being from GOD.  Included are faith, forbearance, forgiveness, holiness, hope, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, meekness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

On the earth, the church typically exists within communities that promote competition, elitism, and the distribution of resources in accordance with processes and standards that are political.  The processes of “the flesh,” “the world,” and “the devil” continually generate meanings and values that undermine the integrity of the church.  Secular knowledge and information are exalted in such a way that many are unable to acquire the sacred knowledge needed to experience the lasting relationship with GOD that we speak of as “eternal life.”  Such work as pastoral counseling, evangelism, and missionary outreach only go forward as effective and fruitful where there are operations of the Holy Spirit to establish commitment, exclusive devotion to GOD, maturity, divine promise, prophecy, stability, and higher vision.  Communities of faith must be financially independent and solvent in order to operate with a minimum of contradiction, disruption, interference, opposition, reversal, and the ungodliness that exists outside the body, and often also exists among believers while they are in the process of permanent change and growth to serve as “born again” believers who must “grow up again” and become perfected

Those within the church are continuing as men, women and children having intimate relationship with GOD through Jesus Christ.  The church is to be received as an answer from GOD where believers are described as being in dependent relationships as adopted sons and daughters, covenant partners, heirs, and spouses, yet, not as beggars, debtors, and the homeless.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  Isaiah 54:  4-10, King James Version (KJV):  4 Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed:  neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame:  for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.  5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.  6 For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.  7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.  8 In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.  9 For this is as the waters of Noah unto me:  for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.  10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.

(3.)  2nd Corinthians 8:  20-21, KJV:  20 Avoiding this, that no man should blame us in this abundance which is administered by us:  21 Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.)

Today, a personal account is shared to clarify unanswered prayer and having a fruitful relationship with divinity.  As an American passing by the Russian embassy, I was asked by a staffer quarreling with a young, Vietnamese immigrant to assist the intruder who was making a disturbance on the sidewalk before their entrance, and refusing to leave the area.  The local police had been called, and unknown to him, he was being threatened with arrest, a beating, and even death should he continue to be defiant and emotional.  Earlier he had caused a scene at the White House.  He felt he had been acting within the law, and demanded the help of the Russians to exercise what he thought to be his new freedom—to marry the President’s daughter.  In the same way that young adult was not aware of his error and presumption, lacking sacred knowledge, many presume and behave as if they have the same access to GOD found only among mature Christian believers.  Receiving answer to prayer requires that believers have a correct understanding of their own needs as well as the provisions and terms of their relationship with divinity.  The holy writings also teach that many “know not what to pray for as they ought,” and the Spirit of GOD assists believers by making intercession with “groanings that can not be uttered,” yet, are understood by GOD.  The fighter at “Yahoo! “lalita”, here are some thoughts I would like to share:  One evening, on my way home from work here in Washington, DC, I was stopped outside of the Russian embassy by someone asking me to help a young Vietnamese who was confused, and about to cause an international incident by climbing the fence to demand a response from the White House.  Apparently, he had gone there earlier, demanded to see the President’s daughter, and had been arrested.  He was about to be arrested again, committed to an institution for psychiatric evaluation, and the police were on the way.

When I spoke to him, the man was not crazy or insane.  Every thing he had to say was intelligent and logical, however, it was based on error.  He explained that he came to America because he was told he could marry the President’s daughter.  Like many around the world, he believed that all Americans are privileged and wealthy, and that “the streets are paved with gold.”  I tried to help him understand that even arranged marriages require shared communication and exchange on the basis of an existing relationship with others.  You may not just “walk in off the street,” and announce to a stranger “I am taking your daughter to be my wife.”

Similarly, the process of GOD focuses on supplying believers with spirit substance and the things needed to serve GOD, rather than things carnal, material, self-serving, and social.  Many, lacking sacred knowledge and the necessary ongoing relationship with divinity, mistakenly think they may “walk in off the street” and demand, petition, or require divine blessings, gifts, and rewards that are earned only over time through sacred practices and works.  Sinners who correctly acknowledge GOD may be “born again” through operations of the Creator that make permanent changes in their spirit content.  Even so, they must “grow up again” to become mature by meeting life challenges upon the earth.  As those reborn from divine DNA (so to speak), the sinner becomes a son or daughter (we say, child, offspring) and heir of GOD.  As a new creation, the believer contains inseparable substance from the makeup of Deity that includes faith, forbearance, forgiveness, holiness, hope, meekness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  More than this, they become accountable for duty, reverence, and unselfish service.

Today, focus is on the appearance in Scripture of commandments granting equality in judgment to the poor with the rich.  Divine law is to be administered as fair, impartial, and unbiased as well as “the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth” (Leviticus 19:  15, King James Version (KJV):  15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment:  thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty:  but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.)  For many mature Christian believers the only wealth that has lasting value is that from the abundance of GOD as his imparted, indwelling Spirit.  Thus, the carnal, material and social distinctions of rich and poor have become meaningless in Jesus Christ.  A writer at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “East” (Level 2 with 384 points, a member since September 06, 2015) posted the following:

 

Does the Bible say that laws should be applied the same way to the rich and the poor, with no exceptions made in favor of the poor?

I know mercy and love are crucial in the Bible, but I also recall reading in the Bible that laws must be applied consistently, whether the person affected is rich or poor (i.e., an exception can’t be made to a law on a case-by-case basis if the person is poor).

Can someone tell me where to find verses that say this about laws, if it’s true?

“East”, divine law in support of the poor does appear in the Bible.  Even so, overarching principles of unity and oneness without sameness appear throughout the holy writings.  In some instances their application is limited to those who were in the formal covenant relationship with GOD that was established for Moses and those who left Egypt with him, and in others they apply to the new covenant through the blood of Jesus.  Provisions do appear in the making of offerings, the payment of certain fees, and sacrifices that acknowledged the limited resources of the poor, and gave them a peculiar “relief”  without also removing their duty and obligation.  Additionally, many admonitions and warnings appear to those who might transgress that disobedience by one individual could result in punishment for the entire nation.   Here are some points from the Scriptures that may be helpful:

(1.)  Deuteronomy 1:  16-18, King James Version (KJV):  16 And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between every man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him.  17 Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is God’s: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it.  18 And I commanded you at that time all the things which ye should do.

(2.)  Exodus 23:  1-3, KJV:  1 Thou shalt not raise a false report:  put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.  2 Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:  3 Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.

(3.)  Psalms 140:  12, KJV:  12 I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor.

(4.)  James 2:  8-10, KJV:  8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:  9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.  10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

(5.)  Ephesians 4:  4-7, KJV:  4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;  5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,  6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.  7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

(6.)  Galatians 3:  27-29, KJV:  27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.  28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female:  for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.  29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Why does the bible say “you might say, my power and the strength of my hands have created this wealth for me.”?

That would imply that acquiring wealth requires a lot of sacrifice and hard work and it doesn’t come easily – even to the obedient who do what the bible says.

“Breakthrough”, using the holy writings men on the earth are being alerted to human error and exaggerated pride regarding divine truth.  Awareness and self-will in the living may be dominated by sin, a non-material, non-spirit influence that opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and the divine order through law that generates the universe.  Focus on oneself, carnal reason, emotions and sensations along with the complexities of social process (e.g., communication, exchange, interaction, sharing) make mankind incapable of seeing naturally that the true character and substance of sin is contrary and foreign to all existence and life.  In addition to failing to correctly discern the operations and outcomes of sin, created beings and living creatures (even those who are “believers”) may become “blind” to the active presence of divinity.  GOD is a spirit, and therefore must be known by the living through the action of spirit material within themselves that was passed on to us as breath and life essence (we say, spirit, word) deposited from the makeup of divinity at Creation.  Fresh endowments of spirit will be received by those who are “born again” that make GOD knowable, known, unforgettable, and “visible”.  Included are faith, forbearance, forgiveness, holiness, hope, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Consider again the following from the Scriptures:

(1.)  Judges 7:  1-4, King James Version (KJV):  1 Then Jerubbaal, who is Gideon, and all the people that were with him, rose up early, and pitched beside the well of Harod:  so that the host of the Midianites were on the north side of them, by the hill of Moreh, in the valley.  2 And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me.  3 Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. Today, points are shared on church attendance and the divine inheritance given a child through their own parents.  The sacred operations to prepare those who will be taken up from the earth as the harvest of Christ are intended for all the living, and are not shared by the people of GOD on the basis of age, ethnic background, formal education, national origin, or economic status.  Even so, family and other intimate relationships make it that ones beliefs and good standing as a member within the body of Christ also should be acknowledged as a peculiar treasure and wealth to be shared and passed on as ones private estate and legacy.  The Scripture includes instruction on twin brothers, Esau and Jacob; one correctly valued the divine inheritance from his father Isaac, the other did not.  A fighter at “Yahoo! “Anonymous”, don’t ask to be disinherited.  There are many who want to deny and dishonor GOD, and GOD has no interest in them.  In accordance with public laws in our society, assemblies, communities of faith, and church congregations are private institutions (i.e., for members only).  You have been allowed to enter in among Christian believers as an aspect of the inheritance purchased for your parents at the cross, and received through their continuing acknowledgments of resurrection and imparted Spirit.  Your parents are sharing with you something they regard as having deep meaning for their own lives, and are willing to share only with their own sons and daughters, not with any strangers.  Correctly understood, for Christian believers, church attendance is required, and is a “duty” (a necessary assignment or job that must be performed correctly, without complaints or hesitation, and with willingness to endure every cost, loss, or suffering that may be demanded).  Because you are still “a child” in your ability and practice of sacraments, sacred knowledge, and unselfish ministry to others your parents are carrying you forward, even though in many ways they themselves are imperfect, and unable to see all the many invisible things of GOD that are present in all our lives.  It remains that, as a dependent child, you are required to live under circumstances and preconditions that others have put in place—from your name and eye color, to your home address, and where you may put your feet under the table.  Lacking insight, love, maturity and respect, no one really expects to see their children express gratitude for their efforts as parents to include them in eternal life by sharing godly benefits with them now.  Even so, they do expect obedience, and that without disrespect and grumbling.  Consider how some of this is stated using language from the holy writings:

(1.)   Genesis 18:  17-19, King James Version (KJV):  17 And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;  18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?  19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

(2.)  Deuteronomy 6:  4-9, KJV:  4 Hear, O Israel:  The LORD our God is one LORD:  5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.  6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:  7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.  8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.  9 And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

(3.)  Psalms 119:  9-12, KJV:  9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.  10 With my whole heart have I sought thee:  O let me not wander from thy commandments.  11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.  12 Blessed art thou, O LORD:  teach me thy statutes.

Growing pains, persecution and suffering as aspects of Christian belief are in view, today.  It is a common error among those who lack sacred knowledge that “grace” also may mean license, material things, wealth, and “do what you please.”  A fighter at “Yahoo! You believe in God and then go heaven & get everything. Isnt that TO GOOD TO BE TRUE? You dont even have to work a day for that Lamborghini.?

Any one can believe if they will get EVERYTHING as a result.

Don’t brainwashed religious people think its too easy & too good to be true?

All you do is BELIEVE and then you get mansions, Palaces, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce etc in heaven and you never have to work a day for it.

“esachica”, for mature Christian believers the image of Jesus dying upon the cross calls forth truth that is inescapable for all who submit to GOD through his Son.  In addition to the “growing pains” they must endure as those who are “born again” and committed, believers are to expect the loss of loved ones to death, to unbelief, and to the pain of various separations as well as the routine life disappointments for those upon the earth, persecution, and personal suffering.  Through the operations of divinity, in water baptism the inborn spirit of a believer “dies” and is “buried”.  Because believers are reborn from divine DNA (so to speak), they must “grow up again” and become mature as divine offspring while still living upon the earth.  The sons and daughters of GOD are to become “ripe” and be gathered when the Lord takes his harvest of lives from the earth (some say, the Advent, the Rapture, the Second Coming).  In addition to the usual stress and tension that comes by hard work, believers who are developing as the seed of GOD in Christ also must face the many challenges that come when seeking to perfect a relationship.  Consider again how these points are stated using language from the Bible:

(1.)  1st Peter 5:  6-11, King James Version (KJV):  6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:  7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.  8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:  9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.  10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.  11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

(2.)  Hebrews 12:  7-9, KJV:  7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?  8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.  9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence:  shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

(3.)  Ephesians 2:  8-10, KJV:  8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:  it is the gift of God:  9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.  10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

That having material possessions is an obstacle and indication of sin that keeps men from salvation is considered, today.  Correctly understood, the condemnation upon those having property and wealth first centers in their inherited nature as sons of Adam.  Divine blessing, therefore, goes beyond success in human terms (e.g., authority, celebrity, control, family size, independence, amassing valuable objects, owning luxuries).  Included as godly success are such features as spiritual adoption, baptism, and rebirth that establish sacred anointing and eternal endowment.  Because money and wealth encourage a fixed and narrow focus upon things that are earthly, the rich are often “blind” and fail to invest in the things that pertain to their own eternal life.  Consider again the following from the Bible, and the points appearing below:  James 2:  5, King James Version (KJV):   5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?  Also, John 9:  39-41, KJV:  39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.  40 And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?   41 Jesus said unto them, if ye were blind, ye should have no sin:  but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.  A fighter at “Yahoo! “Steve”, here are some points I can share as a mature Christian believer:

(1.)  Many presumptuously take words spoken by the Savior for admonition, instruction, and warning to also be weapons they may use for condemnation and final judgment of others.  Correctly understood, the Savior provided guidance to prepare mankind for the transformation to exist as eternal, immortal, and incorruptible.  The wealthy are as in need of mercy and salvation as the poor, and working class.  Having wealth is not reprimanded so much as misusing wealth, denying divine grace, and assuming that redemption and salvation are through barter, trade and merchandising.  Ezekiel 17:  49-50, King James Version (KJV):  49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.  50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me:  therefore I took them away as I saw good.

(2.)  In the holy writings, we see that wealth is bestowed as blessing upon those who serve divinity, and this further enables mankind’s participation in the fulfillment of eternal purposes.  Yet, we see mendicancy (begging) and poverty serving divine purposes as well.  The ministry of Jesus as an itinerant rabbi was supported by the contributions and gifts of others.  Isaiah 2:  10-12, KJV:  10 Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty.  11 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.  12 For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low.

(3.)  The incident where a rich, young ruler asked what he might do to obtain eternal life—beyond obeying the law of Moses, and continuing in the ancient covenants—allowed Jesus to teach that ones character and nature are the focus of judgment along with their being in correct relationship, rather than their position, rank and social status.  Isaiah 1:  17, KJV:  17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Material wealth is vain (i.e., lacks divine substance), is temporal (can not endure; does not last), and is unstable.  The many subtleties (i.e., hidden shifts in intent, meaning, and value) introduced by the burdens of accountability, duty, hard work, and responsibility associated with acquiring and maintaining wealth generate many of the same effects as idol worship, and devotion to Mammon.  1st Chronicles 29:  11-13, KJV:  11 Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty:  for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.  12 Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.  13 Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
