Today, focus is upon Christ dying upon the cross as the Creator of mankind, and not merely as our Redeemer and Savior.  Because the word to disciples and believers in Jesus Christ has been, “Behold, I make all things new!”, the cross also is to be understood as a creation event, rather than only a divine transaction to cancel the enormous debt of sinners, or a somber occasion of bereavement, loss, separation, and sorrow.  While we may look to speak of ministry from divinity using plain speech and simple language, believers all must embrace profound truths that generate life, transform finite consciousness, and imparts sacred spirit content. Consider the following points from Scripture, and the presentation below:

Hebrews 1:  1-3, King James Version (KJV):  1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,  2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;  3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

2nd Corinthians 4:  6-10, KJV:  6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.  7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.  8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;  9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;  10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

Colossians 1:  12-20, KJV:  12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:  13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:  14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:  15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:  16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers:  all things were created by him, and for him:  17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.  18 And he is the head of the body, the church:  who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.  19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;  20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

2nd Corinthians 3:  12, KJV:  12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:

Psalms 51:  10-13, KJV:  10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.  11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.  12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.  13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

Christians: Your religion is based upon the belief that Jesus died Do you have any proof that that actually happened?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.  For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.  And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.  And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:  That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.  Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect:  yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:  But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:  (1st Corinthians 2:  1-7, KJV)

“Dangerous Mr.”, trust that, despite time and space, through operations of the Holy Spirit, blood and truth from the cross are flowing to here and now.  For Christian believers, knowing that Jesus Christ died upon the cross as a sacrifice to GOD for the sins of mankind is only a basic idea we receive like the ABCs for preschool children.  The little ones become very pleased once they can recite the alphabet correctly from beginning to end.  Yet, they still can not combine and reconfigure the letters in order to read or write.  They must continue learning and growing.  Similarly, Christian belief combines inseparable ideas on a cosmic scale that go beyond simple notions of living and dying in the flesh.  The cross should come into view as a divine act to further complete the Creation by fitting mankind to fulfill eternal purpose.

Revelation (i.e., making divinity knowable and known) is the process used by GOD through Jesus Christ whereby sacred knowledge is established through divine operations that display the character, nature, and substance of Deity.  GOD is a spirit who can not be apprehended or fully known relying upon carnal appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, cravings for sexual contact), sensation (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching) or emotion/mind (e.g., anger, fear, dreams, imagination, memory, thought).

Mature Christian believers accept that Jesus Christ exists within the full expression and presence of divine person (we say, Godhead), as the very aspect of divinity that has fashioned the living (e.g., angels, animals, mankind, sacred beasts) to inhabit the various spheres of life (e.g., earth, heaven, the sea) fashioned by the Holy Spirit (also called the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth).  The Godhead is to be experienced in relationship with created beings and living creatures (even as offspring, heirs, and children of GOD) through their own content of sacred spirit imparted from the makeup of GOD.  Included are such inseparable aspects of Deity as faith, holiness, humility, joy, longsuffering, love, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

There is far more to be said, understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and all divine order established through sacred law.  Sin has not been created or put forth from divinity, and contains no sacred substance.  Yet, sin has direction, effect, and “presence,” and may dominate awareness and self-will in the living.  Because the living embrace sin as natural, normal, and a genuine expression of their own true substance, divinity has made multiple interventions to cleanse, correct, preserve, and separate Creation from sin.  Sacred operations have been carried out that include atonement, covenant, forgiveness, Incarnation, judgment, redemption, rebirth, resurrection, salvation, and sanctification.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, delusion, divine revelation, and human mental and spiritual health come into view.  Also, there is more on knowing the name of GOD.  The “Yahoo! Answers” writer using “Murderous Puppy” as an ID (Level 1 with 196 points, a member since March 02, 2013) posted the following:

If I have to delude myself into believing God exists before he will reveal himself to me…?

then how do I know his revelation isn’t just a delusion?

THE BATTLE AXE:  About Knowing the Name of GOD (09/21/2014)—(4.)  The living do not need to know the hidden and secret names of GOD; and the dead “praise not GOD.”  The living are to grasp divine operations, sacred process, and eternal purpose, for GOD is to be known as active presence.  While many names and titles have been used to speak of GOD during the various stages of development for covenant and salvation upon the earth, the name to be used by those having the closest, most intimate relationship with GOD (we say, the exclusive, personal, singular name of GOD) is exalted, set apart (sanctified), and not for ordinary use.  Certainly, this does not mean that the personal name of GOD does not exist.  How divinity is known and spoken of (we say, the name of GOD) changes in accordance with necessary tasks performed by GOD through different appearances of divinity on behalf of created beings and living creatures.  It is an aspect of the sacred process and substance of existence that mankind calls to GOD, and seeks the highest levels of spiritual knowledge and truth.  Yet, just as Creation has been accomplished without GOD being given criticism, direction, and instruction from the created, redemption, salvation and eternal life are not through the input of those having presence as the quick and the dead.  In place of the personal name of GOD, there are now many devices used to indicate where the divine name would appear within ones prayers, public teaching, or written presentations.  Included are Adonai, G-d, GOD Almighty (El Shaddai), Elohim, Hashem, Jehovah, Lord, and YHWH.

(5.)  While men repeatedly seek to compare and rank the names of GOD, such efforts are in line with the pursuits of idolatry and vainglory.  To argue that “I AM” is more correct or has greater power than “the Lord of hosts that dwelleth between the cherubims,” “Jealous”, “the Lord that formed me from the womb,” “the fear of Isaac,” “the mighty God of Jacob,” “the strength of Isaac,” or “The Holy One of Israel” is foolishness.  Imparting and possessing the same aspects of divine operation, presence, purpose and value, the collection of divine names are to be understood as diverse utterances that establish a single, unchanging, unified word.  See Genesis 4:  25-26, Genesis 31:  42, Judges 17:  5-6, 1st Samuel 3:  1-10, Job 37:  5-24, Exodus 6:  2-4 and Hebrews 1:  1-4, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.  Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner:  but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;  Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,  But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:  (2nd Timothy 1:  7-10, KJV)

“Murderous Puppy”, here are a few points that have lent much emotional, psychological, and spiritual strength to Christian believers:

(1.)  GOD is an eternal spirit whose purposes and values center in the establishment of life, not upon abusing, antagonizing, dominating and oppressing finite created beings and living creatures.  Misery, sin and wretchedness are not by divine creation; they are the result of exchanges and interactions among the living.  Using things that are material and visible, GOD reveals or makes divinity known and understandable.  Included are intense emotional, intellectual and visceral experiences that communicate spirit content (e.g., faith, forbearance, forgiveness, holiness, joy, love, wisdom, wrath against sin).

(2.)  Mankind may operate within multiple spheres of life process for body, mind and spirit.  Data and information bombard ones awareness from external and internal, seen and unseen sources, the flesh and the mind.  Included are appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, sexual cravings), sensation (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching), and emotion/mental functions (e.g., anger, desire, fantasy, fear, recall).  Only when anchored and “grounded” by the core substances that establish being can the living escape the various delusions generated by covetousness, ignorance, lust, pride, unhealthy relationships, and sin.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example,(3.)  Many adults can not read or write.  It is not that they did not learn to recite the ABCs.  They did not learn to carry out the more complex tasks of creating combinations and permutations (i.e., arranging and re-arranging as set patterns) the same letters to make the full range of words.  Similarly, it is not that GOD did not impart a necessary foundation of spirit matter to mankind at Creation; or that GOD is inactive and silent.  Men must develop and practice discernment (use their own spirit content to recognize and respond to spirit matter that resides within events, objects, other persons, divine purposes, etc.).  The extremes of mental illness are more the consequence of carnal, cultural, political and social elements (the focus of ones mind) than the result from things given in the revelation from GOD (the focus of ones spirit).)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

The process of Scripture and the repetition of peculiar sacred accounts are topics, today.  Also, there is more on family and beliefs of children.  A “Yahoo! Answers” fighter using the ID “Brittany” Level 1 with 89 points, a member since December 24,  2012) posted the following:

Daniel vs Joseph (Religion)?

I was watching shows with my younger cousin and I realized between VeggieTales and Joseph: King of Dreams, that the two stories are almost identical. Guy understands dreams, king is happy, things get ****** up, happy ending. Are these two seperate religions? Or both Christianity? What’s the point of the same story being retold twice?

THE BATTLE AXE:  Family and Beliefs of Children? (08/28/2014)—(5.)  Parents are not brainwashing or coercing their children because they introduce the ABC’s, reading, and spelling.  Neither are parents enslaving their child by sharing the Bible, church attendance, and unselfish service.  All children taught the alphabet do not go on to learn reading and writing.  Many choose to become defiant, rebellious, and do not learn in classroom settings and schools.  It remains that caretakers and parents can not teach faith.  Faith is an aspect of divine makeup along with other inseparable spirit content that must be provided by operations from GOD.  Included are forgiveness, holiness, joy, longsuffering, love, truthfulness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Parents may create, identify, and set up opportunities for their children; provide examples and models; clarify sacred knowledge; or acknowledge, encourage and praise efforts of their children to learn and conform to sacred standards.  The home must prepare children for growth and participation within the church; and experience within the two social settings must complete and reinforce the sacred content and process of one another.  See again Genesis 18:  19, Ezra 9:  1-3, Malachi 2:  11-17, Malachi 3:  14-18 and Malachi 4:  5-6, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them:  because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.  They are of the world:  therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.  We are of God:  he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us.  Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.  Beloved, let us love one another:  for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.  He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.  (1st John 4:  4-8, KJV)

“Brittany”, here are a few points on Christian belief that you might find helpful:

(1.)  The ancient writings collected together as the Bible are a record of cosmic and human events that display the active presence of GOD through thousands of lives, over thousands of years (we say, a divine perspective).

(2.)  GOD is a spirit who has put forth all existence.  The language throughout the Scriptures comes from finite carnal, material and social relationships among created beings and living creatures, yet, is intended to describe and reveal divinity that is totally spirit in makeup and substance.  We say GOD is immutable and unchanging, given that he repeatedly uses specific devices and divine operations (e.g., covenant, law, dreams, healing, prophecy, suffering, raising the dead) to make known and reveal divinity to the living.

(3.)  Depictions and portrayals of the Bible shown in animations, TV programs, and movies (e.g., Noah, The Passion, The Ten Commandments) often are adaptations where the text has been altered responding to varying limitations.  The sacred quality of the Scriptures may be totally ignored in the effort to produce something dramatic, simple, sensational, and sexually engaging.  Profane and non-spiritual elements will appear when, in their efforts to be professional, directors and producers make no requirement of belief and commitment for those who are asked to carry out their projects.  Oversimplification and other spiritual errors will be common because of aesthetic, artistic, and budgeting concerns as well as on the basis of the godliness, insight, understanding, and quality of skill and talent among actors, illustrators, and technical staff.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example (4.)  Through baptism (death of ones inborn spirit, rebirth having divine DNA, so to speak), believers are equipped to correctly understand and value the aspects of divinity that have been revealed.  Just like a blind man may be willing, and want to see, yet, is not equipped, so believers can not “see” without an experience of rebirth.  Born again, believers gradually “grow up” again by acquiring sacred knowledge, continuing sacred practices, overcoming life challenges, and participating in fellowship with other believers.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Topics today include how children acquire beliefs in GOD by being raised as part of a family.  Also, there is more on love at first sight.  The “Yahoo! Answers” fighter using the ID “martin.percy1” (Level 1 with 139 points, a member since January 11, 2007) posted the following:

Does being bought up in a christian family lead some people to believe in God? Why?

THE BATTLE AXE:  Love at First Sight? (08/28/2014)—(4.)  The initial encounter of two persons joined by an agreement for arranged marriage may, or may not, include the experience of bonding we call “love at first sight.”  However, it absolutely must include a foundation of child-parent love, dutifulness, respect, and trust.  Infatuation and what we call “puppy love” describe experiences of young people marked by efforts to establish and prolong temporary emotional excitement, exaggerated romantic attraction, and (occasionally) sexual arousal that alters, confuses, and disrupts their usual patterns of behavior, discipline, home life, and thought.  By contrast genuine experiences of love introduce growth, self assessment, planning, and reflection.  Efforts are focused upon continuity, discovery, increased intimacy, sharing, and stability.  Just as a single seed contains the full life and every stage of a plant’s future development, a blind date or casual encounter also may provide the complete potential for mature love.  Where the seed a couple contain is one for life companionship, their courtship and dating begins a relationship that should naturally result with the two firmly established as life companions.  Where men and women, instead, are rooted only in the animal aspects of their humanity obstacles to genuine love must repeatedly appear such as conceit, fear, materialism, possessiveness, pride and sexual appetite that hinder the gradual unfolding of love.   See again Genesis 2:  18, Proverbs 28:  4, Song of Solomon 8:  6-7 and Malachi 2:  13-15, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline will drive it far away.  (Proverbs 22:  15, New International Version, NIV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  When Children Embrace Church? (08/18/2014); Condemned by the Church? (08/19/2014); Why the Gospel for Our Children (05/13/2014); Changing Times and Laws? “martin.percy1”, here are a few thoughts on family and Christian belief that you may find helpful :

(1.)  Families are more than simply groups having a physical bond through sexual reproduction, or legal contracts of adoption and marriage.  Families also are identified as groups practicing and sharing specific beliefs as well as clear patterns displaying emotional, intellectual, political, psychological, and spiritual values.

(2.)  Minor children must depend upon stable families for nourishment and protection throughout their early development.  By regularly repeating peculiar exchanges and interactions, children are instructed and prepared to operate independently having their own integrity as mature persons.  Family relationships are the first setting wherein children develop and use both nonverbal and oral communication.  Later, preschool, kindergarten, and day care become the areas where their social character is further molded.

(3.)  Either deliberately or unintentionally—formally or informally— all children eventually are introduced to every belief system of their parents, and carried forward into every relationship of their parents that existed before they were born.  Where parents are not grounded in sacred knowledge and spiritual belief systems, usually their children may not pursue such interests without emotional conflict, and various levels of separation.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example (4.)  Parents may share only surface aspects of their own spiritual experiences with their children; and each child must determine how they will benefit best from what they have been given.  Just as parents are not cruel monsters who force their children to learn the ABC’s, parents are not tyrants for allowing their children a place in their church attendance, Bible study, and prayers.  Only with the ABC’s may our children someday read and write; and only with basic sacred knowledge and practice with others will children someday prosper as adult believers.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
