Today, reply is on the response made by the early church at Corinth to condemn and correct the open practice of adultery and fornication. A Christian community is maintained and preserved by the presence of features that otherwise generate division and schism (e.g., consensus; hierarchy; judging others; shunning; sorrowing for sin). The exposure of errors and sin committed by one believer within the church is to mobilize every believer to acknowledge those in whom godly authority has been invested, to examine themselves for spirit content from divinity, and to renew their full commitment to the entire sacred body. The primary goals for the church when responding to transgressors are to be correction, edification, displaying mercy in judgment, reconciliation and spiritual growth, rather than final judgment for the spirit within another member, excommunication, expulsion, and punishment. Forgiveness and soul-winning are to continue; even so, sinners are to be denied opportunities to influence doctrine, fellowship, and the ongoing sanctification of the body. It is written: 2nd Corinthians 13: 5-10, King James Version (KJV): 5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? 6 But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates. 7 Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates. 8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth. 9 For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection. 10 Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction. Did they put that guy out of his church at 1 Corinthians 5:13?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us. For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you; Neither did we eat any man’s bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you: Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us. For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread. But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing. And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed. Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother. Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all. (2nd Thessalonians 3: 6-16, King James Version, KJV)

Anonymous”, consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. 1st Corinthians 5: 1-5, King James Version (KJV): 1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife. 2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you. 3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed, 4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, 5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

2. 1st Corinthians 5: 9-13, KJV: 9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: 10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. 11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. 12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? 13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

3. 1st Corinthians 6: 18-20, KJV: 18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

4. Matthew 18: 15-17, KJV: 15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. 16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. 17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 5. Galatians 5: 19-21, KJV: 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.) adultery

Today, reply shares Christian beliefs regarding adultery, fornication, the betrayal of divinity, and the seventh commandment of the Decalogue. Husbands and wives are not merely to show respect to one another; they are to reverence (acknowledge) the sacred presence, eternal purpose, and divine qualities residing within one another. The fighter using the ID “GenuineGuy” (Level 1 with 1 point, a member since August 30, 2011) posted the following in the “Yahoo! Answers” Religion and Spirituality public forum:

What is adultery?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband. (Ephesians 5: 22-33, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Two Become One Flesh (01/07/2018); Faithless Israel, Unfaithful Judah? (08/18/2017); On Law and Sin (06/07/2017); The GOD Named “Jealous” (09/15/2016); Iniquity Forgiven? (02/16/2016); We Call Him Jealous? (10/25/2015); GOD and Adultery? (06/11/2014); A Hardened Spirit? (06/12/2014)

GenuineGuy”, many of the understandings among mature Christian believers at first appear harsh and imposing. Adultery is more than simply an issue of joint ownership of material property, forswearing oneself (we say, breaking your promise; not keeping the marriage vows), and sharing sexual behavior or pursuing romantic relationships outside of ones marriage. Adultery is conduct that opposes the continued existence of divine law (we say, iniquity; sin; transgression; wickedness). Adultery annuls, overturns, and undermines the integrity and soundness of personal accountability; duty; covenant relationships; proclamations of divine will; prophecy; sacred promises as well as the immutability and weight of final utterance (we say, breath; speech; spirit; truth) that establish lasting bonds. Adultery usually entails fornication (i.e., the defilement of ones own spirit makeup and that of their spouse through sexual joining with unknown and unseen partners who earlier had sexual contact with the adultery-partner that are not physically present and visible).

Throughout the holy writings, the dominion and sovereign rule of divinity over Creation is described and expressed using language and names that indicate GOD is not a mere abstraction or product from the human mind; and divinity operates through continuous relationship such as seen with marriage and parenting. While GOD, whose name also is Jealous, will remain immortal and invisible, Deity is to be known as accessible and approachable like ones own father, or their own spouse. Thus, the figures and types that created beings and living creatures are to use when speaking of GOD include, betrayal, divorce, fidelity, forgiveness, holy matrimony, inheritance, joining, permanence, playing the whore, and reconciliation. Consider again the following from the Bible:

(1.) Isaiah 54: 4-9, King James Version (KJV): 4 Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more. 5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. 6 For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God. 7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. 8 In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer. 9 For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.

(2.) Titus 2: 1-8, KJV: 1 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: 2 That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience. 3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; 4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. 6 Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded. 7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, 8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

(3.) Ezekiel 23: 36-39, KJV: 36 The LORD said moreover unto me; Son of man, wilt thou judge Aholah and Aholibah? yea, declare unto them their abominations; 37 That they have committed adultery, and blood is in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and have also caused their sons, whom they bare unto me, to pass for them through the fire, to devour them. 38 Moreover this they have done unto me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my sabbaths. 39 For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and, lo, thus have they done in the midst of mine house.

(4.) Galatians 5: 19-23, KJV: 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (5.) Revelation 21: 1-3, KJV:  1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

GOD IS ANGRY WITH THE WICKED EVERY DAY

Today, points are shared responding to a comparison of Israel and Judah as “the wicked.”  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Breakthrough” (Level 6 with 16,585 points, a member since June 29, 2013) posted the following:

In the bible do you think that a wicked person could be somebody who operates by false principles and not God’s principles?

For example – somebody who hates poor people – somebody who hates rich people – somebody who hates white people – somebody who hates black people – somebody who hates disabled people – somebody who hates powerful people – somebody who hates children – somebody who hates seniors etc…

A wicked person isn’t always somebody who operates by no principles but somebody who operates by false principles

This is why in the bible God said “faithfless Israel is better than unfaithful Judah.”

the one who operates by no principles is better than the one who operates by false principles

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  The LORD shall judge the people:  judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.  Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just:  for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.  My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.  God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.  (Psalms 7:  8-11, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Fear, Revelation and Desire (05/22/2017); Hell and The Cross? (04/10/2016); Slaves to Sin? (04/13/2015); Gentiles and the Law? (09/19/2013); Law, Slavery and Redemption (09/13/2013); Only One GOD (09/14/2013); Errors of King Solomon? (06/13/2013); Salvation for Atheists? (06/14/2013)

“Breakthrough”, many are not familiar with the “background” important to the comparison made above.  Here are some points you all might find useful:

(1.)  Israel (also called, The Northern Kingdom, Ephraim and Samaria) was  created when rule by the House of David was rejected, and is not the same as Israel (the United Kingdom).  Rehoboam, the Son of Solomon, announced that his policies would be more demanding and oppressive than those of his father, thus, ten tribes abandoned him, and chose to follow Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who had been exiled into Egypt.  Ephraim was taken into captivity by the Assyrians; hundreds of years later, Judah was exiled using the Babylonians.

(2.)  1st Kings 12:  26-31, King James Version (KJV):  26 And Jeroboam said in his heart, Now shall the kingdom return to the house of David:  27 If this people go up to do sacrifice in the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, then shall the heart of this people turn again unto their lord, even unto Rehoboam king of Judah, and they shall kill me, and go again to Rehoboam king of Judah.  28 Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem:  behold thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.  29 And he set the one in Bethel, and the other put he in Dan.  30 And this thing became a sin:  for the people went to worship before the one, even unto Dan.  31 And he made an house of high places, and made priests of the lowest of the people, which were not of the sons of Levi.

(3.)  2nd Kings 17:  22-24, KJV:  22 For the children of Israel walked in all the sins of Jeroboam which he did; they departed not from them;  23 Until the LORD removed Israel out of his sight, as he had said by all his servants the prophets. So was Israel carried away out of their own land to Assyria unto this day.  24 And the king of Assyria brought men from Babylon, and from Cuthah, and from Ava, and from Hamath, and from Sepharvaim, and placed them in the cities of Samaria instead of the children of Israel:  and they possessed Samaria, and dwelt in the cities thereof.

(4.)  Jeremiah 3:  6-8, KJV:  6 The LORD said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot.  7 And I said after she had done all these things, Turn thou unto me. But she returned not. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it.  8 And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.

(5.)  Ezekiel 16:  48-54, KJV:  48 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, Sodom thy sister hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters.  49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.  50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me:  therefore I took them away as I saw good.  51 Neither hath Samaria committed half of thy sins; but thou hast multiplied thine abominations more than they, and hast justified thy sisters in all thine abominations which thou hast done.  52 Thou also, which hast judged thy sisters, bear thine own shame for thy sins that thou hast committed more abominable than they:  they are more righteous than thou:  yea, be thou confounded also, and bear thy shame, in that thou hast justified thy sisters.  53 When I shall bring again their captivity, the captivity of Sodom and her daughters, and the captivity of Samaria and her daughters, then will I bring again the captivity of thy captives in the midst of them:  54 That thou mayest bear thine own shame, and mayest be confounded in all that thou hast done, in that thou art a comfort unto them.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (6.)  Ezekiel 16:  59-63, KJV:  59 For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even deal with thee as thou hast done, which hast despised the oath in breaking the covenant.  60 Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant.  61 Then thou shalt remember thy ways, and be ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder and thy younger:  and I will give them unto thee for daughters, but not by thy covenant.  62 And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD:  63 That thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more because of thy shame, when I am pacified toward thee for all that thou hast done, saith the Lord GOD.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

JESUS ANOINTED WITH THE TEARS OF A HARLOT

Today, points are shared on pornography, prostitutes, and the kingdom of GOD.  Every prostitute is not guilty of having sexual activity with a married person (we say, adultery).  Even so, the spirit content of every prostitute does become  defiled through fornication.  Sexual joining is always physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.  Through fornication and imbalance, even the relationships provided by GOD to display beauty, express commitment, and continue the sharing of devotion, respect, self-esteem, and tenderness may become permanently damaged, and then promote only corruption, disgrace, fear, selfishness, and shame.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Michael Vicks Dog” (Level 6 with 11,731 points, a member since June 06, 2015) posted the following:

Did Jesus protect the hooker from getting stoned because she was a line of income for him?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard.  He answered and said, I will not:  but afterward he repented, and went.  And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir:  and went not.  Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.  For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not:  but the publicans and the harlots believed him:  and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.  (Matthew 21:  28-32, King James Version, KJV)

“Michael Vicks Dog”, most likely, Jesus protected the prostitute (you say, hooker), because he recognized the woman did not have a strong, mature, committed man who accepted accountability within an adult relationship.  The Lord also probably saw there was an emergency, that her eternal life was being threatened, and that she needed the love and protection of GOD the Father.  Through operations of the anointing from GOD that rested upon him, Jesus was able to discern the spirit content within events, himself, other persons, the holy writings, etc.  Where we are supplied with that same endowment, we also are able to see what is otherwise invisible:  a confused child; a repentant sinner; a brother or sister desperately in need of our help; a fragile person who, reinforced by divinity, is capable of displaying an amazing love.  Every prostitute was once a virgin, and can still be made clean and revived by GOD.  Often, the men, women, and children featured in pornography, prostitution and sex-trafficking are victims of continuing verbal abuse, brutality, alcohol and drug poisoning, multiple rapes, and the defilement of fornication.  As servants to the Risen Lord, we are to intercede for them through prayer; and we are to acknowledge that he has made a place at his table for those who will come to him, even the male prostitutes, transgender she-males, twinks, and others being used as sex-objects, and despised in the world.  Because they become a new creation in Christ that contains inseparable spirit matter from the makeup of divinity, sex workers are no longer to be spoken of as hookers, sinners, and whores.  They are to be known as believers, Christians, the children of GOD, saints, and joint-heirs with Christ.  Consider again the following:

(1.)   Luke 7:  36-39, King James Version (KJV):  36 And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee’s house, and sat down to meat.  37 And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,  38 And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.  39 Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him:  for she is a sinner.

(2.)  Galatians 5:  19-23, KJV:  19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,  20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,  21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like:  of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.  22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,  23 Meekness, temperance:  against such there is no law.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Luke 7:  40-48, KJV:  40 And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.  41 There was a certain creditor which had two debtors:  the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.  42 And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?  43 Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.  44 And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet:  but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.  45 Thou gavest me no kiss:  but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.  46 My head with oil thou didst not anoint:  but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.  47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much:  but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.  48 And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, King David, the death of Uriah the Hittite, and the operations of sin are considered.  Sin promotes nonexistence and return to the conditions that were in place before the Creation of heaven and earth.  The mechanics and process of sin always result in the increase and intensification of what is at first a reversible error.  The movement is from deceit, defiance and ignorance of the law to repeated transgressions to deliberate iniquity and persistence of attitudes and actions that violate both the letter and the spirit of the law.  Efforts to cover, rather than confess and abandon sin, usually go from one extreme to another, beginning with lies and even finishing with murder.  Thus, Jesus declared:  I am the door:  by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:  I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.  I am the good shepherd:  the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep (John 10:  9-11, King James Version, KJV).  The fighter at “Yahoo! “STORMY K”, many mature Christian believers hold that, when King David could not cover the pregnancy of Bathsheba (Uriah’s wife), and his own sin of adultery against their marriage, the King ordered the death of Uriah by requiring the commander Joab to have the troops abandon Uriah on the battlefield.  In the same way the holy writings use thousands of events, from thousands of lives over the course of thousands of years to make the character, makeup and substance of the Creator knowable, known, and “visible”, the scriptures also reveal the consequences and operations of sin.  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and the divine order that has put forth the universe.  Sin is no material object or divinely created “thing” that may be destroyed, eliminated, or erased without an extended series of interventions from GOD.  Sin may dominate awareness and self-will in created beings and living creatures; and believers can not consistently and correctly recognize, respond to, and resist sin without fresh endowments of spirit content from the makeup of GOD.  Such finite human tools as emotions, intellect, logic, philosophy, science, and technology are not enough to eliminate and remove sin.  Thus, doctors, educators, lawyers, politicians, scientists, and rulers also are among the many people corrupted by sin.  Consider the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Isaiah 30:  1-3, King James Version (KJV):  1 Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:  2 That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt!  3 Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.

(2.)  Ezekiel 18:  4-9, KJV:  4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine:  the soul that sinneth, it shall die.  5 But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right,  6 And hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour’s wife, neither hath come near to a menstruous woman,  7 And hath not oppressed any, but hath restored to the debtor his pledge, hath spoiled none by violence, hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment;  8 He that hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase, that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgment between man and man,  9 Hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord GOD.

(3.)  Romans 5:  17-21, KJV:  17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)  18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.  19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.  20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:  21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Romans 8:  3-9, KJV:  3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:  4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, an account of Jesus challenged by the Pharisees and points are shared on the integrity of judgment and law.  The writer at “Yahoo! 7 Answers (Australia)” using the ID “becca” (Level 1 with 86 points, a member since January 09, 2017) posted the following:

In John 8:9 why did Jesus ask the woman “Where are they? Has no one condemned you?”?

Who’s He talking about and why would He ask if anyone has condemned her before He says that He doesn’t condemn her? I just don’t understand that part of the scripture. Also is there a website that breaks down scripture to make it easier to understand? I googled bible study sites but I didn’t really find anything helpful.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law:  that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.  Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight:  for by the law is the knowledge of sin.  But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;  Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe:  for there is no difference:  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;  Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:  Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;  To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness:  that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.  (Romans 3:  19-26, King James Version, KJV)

“becca”, here are some points that have been helpful to many Christian believers:

(1.)  Jesus was in the holy place (i.e., the Temple) teaching a large crowd (“all the people”), and was interrupted by the Pharisees, who counted themselves the divinely appointed caretakers of the law from GOD.  Many had been educated to be teachers, scribes, lawyers, and those serving as judges.  The Pharisees acknowledged the law as delivered by angels and prophets (those under the influence of divinity), while the Sadducees insisted there were neither angels nor indwelling spirits.

(2.)  Following the trial that concluded in a death sentence against a woman caught committing adultery, the entire courtroom (that included the accusers, scribes, Pharisees, spectators, etc.) were going to the place for execution.  On behalf of the community and nation, each person was to cast a single stone both to wound and bury the offender.  With GOD, the offense of a single person could be accounted as the shared offense of everyone within the covenant; and where the offender was not immediately punished by the divine covenant partner, the entire nation might be afflicted.

(3.)  The Pharisees wanted to challenge and discredit Jesus in front of the two crowds.  They were convinced he had no knowledge of the legal process or formal training, and would respond on the basis of emotions, errors, and sentiment.  In fact, they were sure he would attack, condemn, and teach against the law.

(4.)  Jesus did not seek to reopen the case, argue that the woman was innocent, or insist she should be “given a second chance.”  He proclaimed a principle that should be acknowledged by all claiming to comprehend the law:  Only those completely and correctly in submission to the law—those having the righteousness in the law—are fit to carry out and execute the sentence of the law.  When the courtroom crowd dwindled, the woman was left standing before Jesus and the classroom crowd.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  The law is a manifestation (appearance, embodiment) of divinity described as the heart, mind, and sovereign will of the Creator.  Therefore, in addition to authority, and more important than mere punishment, there should also be the clear expression of correction, forbearance, forgiveness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, mercy, eternal purpose, rebirth, recognition of repentance, wisdom, and wrath against sin.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, reply is made to a fighter who is confusing the bitterness and exaggerated pride of human jealousy with the divine demands of our Creator for commitment and exclusive devotion within the sacred relationships with himself granted to created beings and living creatures.  So to speak, the “bottom line” is that GOD must be known through sacred deeds and divine operations that include things amazing, awesome, terrible, and wonderful.  The law of jealousies appears in Numbers 5:  12-31, King James Version (KJV), and describes the ceremonies, memorials, and rituals to be carried out by the priests to investigate, punish, or restore those in cases of suspected adultery and unfaithfulness.  Proclamation of the holy name (reputation) of GOD as Jealous appears elsewhere in Exodus, Deuteronomy, Joshua, Psalms, Ezekiel, 2nd Corinthians, and other sacred writings.  One of the many fighters at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

Christians why does your God say he is jealous? Is he insecure?  Why would anything worthy of the title “god” ever get jealous? They wouldn’t?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And he said, Behold, I make a covenant:  before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation:  and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD:  for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.  Observe thou that which I command thee this day:  behold, I drive out before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.  Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee:  But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves:  For thou shalt worship no other god:  for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:  Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice;  And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods.  (Exodus 34:  10-16, KJV)

“Anonymous”, many expressions that appear in the holy writings are included because of the ignorance, infirmity, and weakness of created beings and living creatures whereby they can not independently arrive at correct knowledge and thoughts regarding exalted and sovereign Deity.  (So to speak, men have to be told that GOD demands acceptance as the only true and living GOD; for GOD is spirit, not finite, not mortal, and is not bound and limited by frameworks of time and space, or rules that cause and determine the outcomes of emotional and psychological experiences, exchanges, and other interactions among and between either angels or human beings.)  Multiple sacred operations must go forward as revelation to make divinity knowable, known and visible.  Included are cleansing, forbearance, forgiveness, Incarnation, judgment, prayer, rebirth, and sanctification.  The character, nature, and substance of GOD may gradually become clearer to sinners who seek GOD through specific life experiences such as church attendance, disciplined Bible study, fellowship with mature believers, and continuous worship.  That GOD is Creator, possessor, and sovereign ruler over all that exists demands and requires acknowledgment, awe, fidelity, obedience, respect, and reverence.  Men who have mature understanding are expected to assist, guide and influence those who are simple (i.e., immature; naïve; underdeveloped) to develop their own responses to this truth.  Your god, probably demands something similar from you, and you may not have discovered this yet.  Be it unto you according to your faith, and the mercy your god may show.
