Today, reply is on a shared challenge of human development, that children manage judging others and restrain anger against their own parents. Among Christian believers, exaggerated pride, behaving in ways that are hateful, unwillingness to forgive, and spiritual wickedness can not be disguised or justified through claims of childhood abuse, cruelty, injustice, and mistreatment by ones parents. Given that otherwise hidden emotions that are openly shown to family are always accounted as the most authentic expressions of who we are, many rely on expressing their feelings as a primary tool for child-rearing; however, behavior driven primarily by feelings quickly becomes irrational and unbalanced. A childs view of reality is not always distorted by fantasy, imagination, and immaturity. Even so, when pressured to condemn others (i.e., deny their humanity, value, and worth), children too are challenged to account for damage, pain, and streams of truth in the lives of those accused that can be invisible and unseen to those lacking adult and godly perspective. Children who continue a grudge against their parents by refusing to forgive and rise above the errors in their youth continue with baggage and bitterness, may not remain guiltless, and may ultimately destroy the best possibilities of their own opportunities as adults. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” Religion and Spirituality public forum using the ID “Breakthrough” (Level 6 with 15,408 points, a member since June 29, 2013) posted the following:

Do I have a right to be angry at my mom?

My mom didn’t want children and gave birth to me so my dad would stay married to her and I’m the only child she has

She has mistreated me and tried to sabotage my life ever since I was old enough to talk

When I was in high school I was trying hard to get into a good university and my mother told me that instead of trying to go to university I should just sleep with men for cash since its easier

She also denied me medical treatment when I had 2 diseases at the age of 9 because she wanted me to suffer

Today I made a mess in the living room by accident and my mother starts yelling at me and telling me how I’m a waste of time and resources because every week she has to waste her time doing things to help me

I was angry at her for having that type of attitude towards her child

THE GOLDEN ARROW: He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. (Proverbs 16: 32, King James Version, KJV)

Breakthrough”, here are some points to consider. All have come short—both parents and children—and few display the perfection intended by GOD. In the course of their communication, exchange, and interaction as life companions, there are many times when parents and their children will offend one another. Even so, it will be the primary goal of children who are developing as Christian believers to become Christ-like, and to continually display the image of GOD. In the same way becoming adult and growing up requires multiple changes, discovery, gradual growth, and learning, a young person becomes complete and full as a Christian by meeting life challenges on the earth that apply and make visible the inseparable aspects of spirit substance they will contain that are provided from the makeup of GOD. Included are faith, forbearance, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, meekness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

Even those who are very young should be encouraged to express and practice attitudes and life skills that eventually will bear fruit as ministry to the lives of others. The young also are to prepare for the Advent of Jesus Christ and become ripe for harvest by the Lord at his appearing (we also say, the Rapture; the Second Coming). Teens and young adults who become impatient with the process of the church to provide instruction and support, often despair and leave before receiving the blessings, divine tools, and practical understandings they will need to operate successfully in the face of adult hardships, trials, and suffering. In general, the anger a child expresses against the conduct of their caretakers also expresses ignorance of conditions and the destructive presence of intense emotional, psychological and spiritual pressures that their parents may routinely encounter. Just as the heads of the family are to heal and dress the wounds of others within the home, the children are members of the household emergency response team and may have to serve as crisis assistants and “first-responders” for their parents, siblings, and others having place in their lives.

Maturity (i.e., balance, consistency, sobriety, soundness, stability) among Christians is discerned in the acceptance of accountability; commitment; carrying out and fulfilling ones own word of agreement and promise; correct use of sacred knowledge, secular knowledge, and the proper observance of sacred practices (sacraments) as well as the display of forgiveness and restraint. Consider again the following that shares instruction for those within the household of faith and uses language from the Bible:

1. Ecclesiastes 7: 9, King James Version (KJV): 9 Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.

2. Ephesians 4: 25-27, KJV: 25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. 26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: 27 Neither give place to the devil.

3. Ephesians 4: 29-32, KJV: 29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. 30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

4. James 1: 19-22, KJV: 19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: 20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. 21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 5. Ezekiel 18: 20-23, KJV: 20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. 21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. 22 All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live. 23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, reply is on the state of the dead, the difference between angels and spirit content from men, and Christian ministry to children in their bereavement.  At death the spirit content that projects the character, personality, and spirit makeup within the living is removed, and separated from the flesh.  The lifeless body (we say, cadaver; corpse) may be buried or interred; while the spirit matter returns to GOD.  The tool Christian believers have been given for comforting one another during their bereavement is called “prophecy”.  How sacred truth is presented and shared with children may vary from how the same truth is shown to adults, however, there is only one faith, one Lord, one baptism, one God and Father of all.  There is no teaching from the Bible that says spirit content that leaves a human body and goes to live and interact in heaven among the angels and other sacred creatures there.  The dead praise not GOD; do not watch over and protect the living; and the dead have no carnal, mental, and social abilities (e.g., communication, talking, exchange).  The dead must be restored to life (i.e., there must be resurrection) for judgment according to divine law.  One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” Religion and Spirituality forum who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shown) posted the following:

Religion- I told my son his late mom is now with the angels when he asked me. Am I deceiving him?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:  But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:  Which none of the princes of this world knew:  for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.  But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit:  for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.  For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.  Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:  for they are foolishness unto him:  neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.  (1st Corinthians 2:  6-14, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Lower Than The Angels? (09/12/2017); Signs From The Dead? (01/15/2017); Life Is GOD’s Intent (11/15/2016); On Really Seeing Angels (10/09/2016); Spirit, Spirit Beings, Spirit Persons? (10/13/2015); Getting It Right About Angels (05/10/2015); Comfort? (09/06/2014)

“Anonymous”, non-biblical teachings on the angels often result in spiritual confusion; this is also true during times of bereavement when honest expressions of ones developing belief and faith may contain and impart errors and misunderstandings.  Expressions of our own individual affection and feelings of love can not replace, or accomplish all the sacred work required to be done within the household of faith by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the love of GOD.  Among Christian believers there also are specific sacred things that are to be shared as comfort with those who endure bereavement.  Believers are to minister to one another from what they themselves have received as deposits and endowments of spirit substance from the makeup of GOD through Jesus Christ.  Included are expectation (we say, hope), faith, gratitude, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, purpose, resilience, regeneration, and renewal of the mind.  Such consolations are effective during grief and mourning because a believer’s consciousness is centered on, and interwoven with streams of prophecy and divine revelation.

The Creator has made it that every man, woman, and child must be prepared to endure the completion of their own mortality and separation(s).  Loss of a parent, a child, a spouse, and other loved ones will be experienced throughout every aspect of the emotional, material, psychological, social, and spiritual order fitted together within ones own person.  Thus, many experience bereavement as a form of temporary insanity.  The sudden introduction of absence and imbalance should not be met by dismissing reality and truth, or relying on exaggeration, fantasy, and extremes of imagination.  Regaining balance, self-discipline, firmness, purpose, and stability are reasonable goals and practices.  Existing as “born again,” finite, and mortal, children and adults who belong to Christ are continually challenged to “grow up again” (mature/ripen) on the earth before being harvested by Jesus Christ at his appearing (we also say, the Advent, the Rapture, the Second Coming).

Where we counsel children and those who are only beginning the long journey to fullness and maturity in their bereavement we must acknowledge the existing level of their grasp and understanding; and it is not incorrect or unkind to speak to them using (1) their own language, (2) the shared language within relationship as well as (3) the new language provided from GOD intended to carry them forward in the divine will.  Often, where children mistakenly appear to be lying by adult standards, the young ones are answering with responses that correctly and sincerely express their heartfelt desire, their faith imparted from GOD, their intent, their perseverance, and their efforts to apply and focus their own self-will (willpower).

Even within the communities and families of Christians those enduring a loss may operate as though it is acceptable to use commonly held and familiar doctrine and teachings that are not found within the holy writings.  Some feel they are justified on the basis of the importance of behaving as accepting, non-judgmental, supportive, and understanding.  Others feel that children may be weaned from the devices used as short-term solutions while they are being brought gradually to the fullness of Christ.  Because there are many subtleties (barely visible differences; hidden shifts in meaning, quality, and value) involved, those who take up alternatives to Christ should be cautioned, for in effect they say, “I am right when I am wrong, because….”  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  1st Corinthians 12:  25-27, King James Version (KJV):  25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.  26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.  27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

(2.)  Matthew 18:  10, KJV:  10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

(3.)  Colossians 2:  8-12, KJV:  8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.  9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.  10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:  11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:  12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

(4.)  Colossians 2:  18-19, KJV:  18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,  19 And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  1st Thessalonians 4:  13-18, KJV:  13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.  14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.  15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:  and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:  and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

children have sin

Today, judgment of children, and the operations of sin in and through the young are considered.  Divine law indwells the living as life essence (breath, spirit, Word).  Babies and small children also heard the voice of GOD proclaim the Covenant Law at Mount Sinai, and were required to develop and mature acknowledging the same divine standards as their parents.  The principle (where there is no law, sin is not imputed) does not cover lack of knowledge, and the ignorance of children (ignorance of the law is no excuse).  Children are shown the same allowances, forbearance and mercy granted to adults who are “born again” and must complete growth and learning to become full members within the body of Christ (the church) as developing believers; thus, they both will be monitored and reviewed.  Accountability, malice, forethought, and intent for their works and deeds still will be considered.  In accordance with the Gospel and teachings from the holy writings, many Christians trust that children will be closely examined during divine judgment for such features as their content of spirit from the makeup of GOD; their commitment to and development according to mankind’s possibilities for expressing an animal, human or divine nature; and for the integrity of being that increasingly should appear through their communication, exchange, and continuing relationship with divinity.  The young will not be ignored, overlooked, or held to have no value.  For mankind, sin continues to be an inherited condition like mortality, an aspect of ones living makeup, and a peculiar context or setting wherein created beings fail to display the image of GOD.  Just as sin pertains to divine law and sacred judgment, the operations of sin oppose the workings of faith imparted from the makeup of GOD, sacred knowledge, and genuine wisdom.  Sin alters godly meaning, possibilities, quality, and value among mankind; and may not be explained, justified, or properly resisted relying only on awareness, secular knowledge, or self-will (we say, willpower).  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “ari” (Level 7 with 85,515 points, a member since March 04, 2014) posted the following:

The Bible says that we have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God does that include children.?

Can some mature Christian explain how soon is more then simply a moral problem and why even babies and little children are affected by it

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:  That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:  That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:  And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God. (Psalms 78:  5-8, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Starting A New Life? (11/21/2017); We Are His Children (10/16/2017); Becoming Free From Sin (07/16/2017); Determining What Is Sin (06/15/2017); Inheritance Must Become Commitment (05/15/2017); Chocolate Bunnies! Easter Eggs! (04/18/2017); “Good grief!” and Prophecy? (11/06/2016); Of Such Is The Kingdom (09/01/2015)

“ari”, just as the blessings of guidance, nourishment, and protection through divine law are extended to children as well as adults, divine law requires from children that they develop, discover, and contribute through lifestyles and routines of living that acknowledge accountability, obedience, respect, and restraint.  Sin is an inherited condition that determines aspects of their duration, quality of life, intimacy of relationship with divinity, and survival for all created beings and living creatures.  In the same way the Bible demonstrates and records multiple approaches and ideas to make divinity knowable, known, and “visible” within the awareness of angels, animals and men, the holy writings also reveal the otherwise hidden operations of sin.  GOD is an unseen, yet, active presence; similarly, sin is not material, tangible or visible like an ordinary person.  Sin is not created by GOD, is not a spirit, and is not an object or vessel having spirit content.  Even so, sin displays direction, effect, and presence; and, while sin may dominate awareness and self-will within the living, sin can not control or exist as having power within the dead.

Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law that expresses the sovereign will of GOD, the continued existence of the Law Giver, and the continued existence of all Creation and divine order generated through sacred law.  The fact that the operations of sin may be recognized through attitudes, behavior, and conduct makes sin appear to be only a matter of things that are carnal, earthy, material, secular and social.  Many define “sin” as the violation of shared meanings and values within communities and groups (i.e., problems of communication, exchange and interaction; rule-breaking and crime; refusing to endorse an unspoken code (they say, morals) or social consensus), and fail to realize the cosmic truth that sin opposes the existence of the entire universe.  More than this, the operations of sin may erase or reduce to nothing the image of GOD that should be seen within the living.

Consider again the following:

(1.)  Proverbs 20:  11, King James Version (KJV):  11 Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.

(2.)  1st Corinthians 3:  11-13, KJV:  11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.  12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;  13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest:  for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.

(3.)  Hebrews 12:  4-11, KJV:  4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.  5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:  6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.  7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?  8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.  9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence:  shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?  10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.  11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous:  nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.)

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and made a part of our own spirit makeup.  (For example, (4.)  Romans 5:  12-15, KJV:  12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:  13 (For until the law sin was in the world:  but sin is not imputed when there is no law.  14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.  15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.  16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift:  for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.  17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) )  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, appetite, independence, obedience, self-control, and sexuality before marriage are in view.  Adult privilege is obtained on the basis of acquiring adult knowledge, continually carrying out adult responsibilities, and routinely maintaining adult standards.  Those having developed genuine maturity are able to display balance, commitment, completeness, consistency, patience (i.e., ability to wait quietly, without complaining), sobriety, and stability.  A fighter at “Yahoo! THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,  Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,  Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like:  of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,  Meekness, temperance:  against such there is no law.  And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.  (Galatians 5:  19-25, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Discipline and The Cross (06/16/2016); The Cross Condemns Fornication (05/20/2016); Answered by The Cross? (03/14/2016); On Controlling Lust (01/05/2016); The Wife of Your Youth? (12/22/2015); Growing Up Again? (12/09/2015); Punishment To Show Love? (11/29/2015)

Galatians 5: 17, King James Version (KJV):  17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh:  and these are contrary the one to the other:  so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

Ephesians 6: 12, KJV:  12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

“Paige”, in obedience to Jesus Christ I am sharing with you a message from the cross.  Your question made a statement (I want to disobey and ignore my parents, because I want to have sex, I don’t want to be a Christian, and all I need is courage that will come from the strangers who will agree with me.).  The warnings from Scripture are to be joined to those from “common sense.”  Sexual desire is an animal and carnal appetite like hunger and thirst.  It can not be satisfied merely by using imagination, logic, make believe, reason, or thought.  Thus, self-acceptance and inner peace through sexuality are very difficult to achieve.  Even so, like hunger and thirst, lust and sexual appetite must be disciplined and trained by the human, and spirit parts of who we are.

When your body begins to behave like that of an adult, then you want your mind and your spirit to also behave like that of an adult—the duties, problems, and responsibility of an adult are soon to follow.  Giving oneself in sexual union should be in accordance with full authority over ones own life expressed in emotional and financial independence.  Then, you (and your partners) acknowledge accountability for your own actions and choices without burdening others by the consequences of your errors and mistakes.  You make a home for yourself, provide food, hygiene, and health care for your self.  You understand that sexual joining may be accomplished by behavior as simple as holding hands, or a kiss on the cheek.  Sexual behavior always occurs on multiple levels all at the same time that include emotional, material, psychological, and spiritual exchange.

There is far more that should be carefully said, thoughtfully examined, and spiritually understood.  For example, while we may find forgiveness at the cross, and children can find forgiveness with their parents after betraying them concerning their own desires for sexual pleasure, it remains that, knowing the message they were given was shared with them in love, the child will always be without excuse, or justification.)  Even so, I am sure this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

New Disclaimer

Points are shared, today, that expand upon a “caution” against shortsightedness when responding to transgender issues.  A few days ago, I shared an email to President Obama of the United States of America through the White House Website.   The reply I received was a message from the President regarding drug addiction.  Consider the following Note and comment from my Facebook page, and the further discussion below:

Federal Transgender Law?
Michael Andrew Williams—Sunday, May 15, 2016

The following response was just shared at “Yahoo! Answers;” the question and its explanation also is below:

I have begun to consider the demand that transgender children be allowed to participate in the same gym classes and sports teams in schools that receive Federal funds. At some point the issue of shared locker-rooms and showers absolutely must be addressed. Young girls treasure their shared experiences with field hockey, lacrosse, soccer, and softball. Adults may easily become “accepting of change and differences,” however, for those in the tentative times for growing up, how do you explain to children that other girls also may have male private parts. (Many mothers may have bathed their boys and girls together in the same tub at ages 3-5; so their girls are not “ignorant” of differences.  Even so, that was “in private” and at home.)  The embarrassment is not simply to the President, his wife, and daughters. The “best minds of the nation” are claiming to have examined the issues and options, and clearly, the same inadequacy demonstrated by the House and Senate in refusing to staff and support the third branch of government (the Supreme Court) has exposed America to the condemnation of the U. N. and the World.  Most tragic of all, where the shabby and ungodly thinking is not put aside, American girls will come to feel totally betrayed by their parents.

Does anyone else feel concerned for their daughters about this whole transgender bathroom issue?

I  have heard that Obama wants all public schools to allow transgender  kids to use the bathroom they identify themselves as. This really  concerns me because I have two daughters, ages 7 and 9. It horrifies me  to know that there might possibly come one day that my daughters might  be in the same bathroom with boys. This really disgusts me very much and  I’m glad Obama’s time is up in office.

What has happened to our country? A president of the United States  allowing people with mental problems to use a bathroom of the sex they  identify themselves as? If this does happen, I’m not sure what I’m going  to do because I cannot afford private school. My wife and I are  contemplating home schooling if this really does happen.

Does anyone else share the same concerns as me?

COMMENT:  (Michael Andrew Williams) Some persons responding to the question (posed by Louis) associated the bathroom issue with gender, and threats of rape and sexual assault; however, the issues pertain more to coming of age, emotional, psychological, and spiritual development as well as the acquisition of sexual identity.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For the Lord will not cast off for ever:  But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.  For he doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.  To crush under his feet all the prisoners of the earth.  To turn aside the right of a man before the face of the most High,  To subvert a man in his cause, the Lord approveth not.  Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?  Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good?  Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins?  Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the Lord.  Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens.  (Lamentations 3:  31-41, KJV)

While there should be little argument and quarrel that current Federal law is adequate to require a determined National effort to respect and uplift transgender persons regarding the use of public restrooms, it may not go without saying that a massive program of re-education also must be established, funded, staffed, and properly implemented that will erase aspects of our existing culture, and multiple layers of process for life and interaction, here.  Transgender children currently have needs for instruction and support that have that will require new focus, and careful attention.  Given there is great diversity for sex education in our many schools (e.g., some beginning as early as age 10, others not until middle school, still others, not until high school or after), home training and preparation must be made reasonably uniform, and brought into harmony with school curricula and programs.  Many parents will have to be re-educated where they are to answer the concerns and questions of their own children.  It sounds “innocent”, at first, to say, “girls may have a penis, too!”  As an academic statement, many can agree with a value that it should not be disturbing or embarrassing to young girls that they may see some of their schoolmates will have the same sexual parts as boys (and vice versa) when required to shower after certain activities in school (e.g., gym class; athletic competition; team practice).  However, at this point, it can not be authoritatively stated at what age children are most able to make this change, or adjustment that is more easily possible for adults.  Available developmental studies that have not focused upon such questions will have to be carefully re-examined, and new studies quickly prepared.

There is far more to be said, understood, and spiritually taken in.  (For example, Be not deceived.  It is a legitimate argument that the public must not become focused upon the money (how bad do you want it?), because the issue of making merchandise of our children (we say, prostitution, trafficking) will linger and taint any benefit or legacy our young would have otherwise received.  Until some of these issues are properly addressed, we should not be surprised to see children insisting upon their own integrity, and “out on strike” against attending their presently “unprepared” schools.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

The discussion continues, today, that sin must be personal for Christian believers just as Jesus dying upon the cross must be personal.  Alertness and greater awareness are required, not “baggage”, pride, or self-promotion.  The work of a believer is less in the line of self-improvement and more in agreement with becoming ripe for harvest as those the Lord will gather from the earth.  Attitudes, behavior, and transgressions from ones past are not to be used as accusations and obstacles to new life and the building of trust within the body of believers.  While operations to heal will go forth from the Holy Spirit that downplay and erase the disgrace, embarrassment, and pain once experienced through sin, strength also is imparted that permits those born again to adopt sacred purpose, take charge of themselves in their new lives, and serve as true champions against the things that once corrupted and defrauded them.  Believers need not fear to look back upon the past, for thereby they realize, though the Savior was invisible, Christ was with them all the time.  The Father, the Son and the Spirit were present, however, not to interfere with, or overthrow their integrity as persons, hinder their individual development, and frustrate their necessary exercise of will.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Yet say ye, Why? doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, and hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live.  The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son:  the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.  But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.  All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him:  in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.  Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GODand not that he should return from his ways, and live?  But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned:  in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.  (Ezekiel 18:  19-24, KJV)

THE BATTLE AXE:  Sin Must Be Personal (04/29/2016)—As surely as we are to remember Jesus dying upon the cross for our redemption, Christian believers also ought remember that errors and sin are still threatening to overwhelm them with destruction.  Embracing Christ as Savior, believers become able to view their life experience as one of continuous growth, rather than a series of disruptive episodes.  For this reason, many mature believers in Christ are convinced that, joined to sacred knowledge and practice, the truth of our experience of sin, the flesh, and the world can be made part of our arsenal against evil and wickedness.  Admonition, counsel, guidance, instruction and warning are understood as having more power when grounded in authentic life experience, rather than parables, speculation, theory, or “the leaven of the Pharisees.”  There are young people, desiring genuineness and sincerity, who prefer to endure affliction and negative experiences that permit them a sense of life having true substance, and is not “fake”, false, and full of illusion.  Such  youth often mistake the meaning of “freedom” to be “do as you please,” so they turn away from the self-esteem, self-respect and self-restraint that are the marks of full self-control, mastery, and maturity.  Instead of believing that becoming adult means there must be misery, unhappiness, violence, and wretchedness, adults and young people alike are encouraged to see, the ministry of Jesus Christ has been carried out to remove the shackles of disbelief, ignorance, and uncertainty regarding the things of GOD.  Those who follow the Lord, do so on a path that leads to a lasting freedom without the dangers and unwanted risk of having past burdens restored, and old wounds reopened.  Consider again the following from the Scriptures:

(1.)  Deuteronomy 9:  7, King James Version (KJV):  7 Remember, and forget not, how thou provokedst the LORD thy God to wrath in the wilderness:  from the day that thou didst depart out of the land of Egypt, until ye came unto this place, ye have been rebellious against the LORD.

(2.)  Proverbs 28:  13, KJV:  13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper; but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

(3.)  James 1:  23-25, KJV:  23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:  24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.  25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

(4.)  Psalms 119:  59-60, KJV:  I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.  60 I made haste, and delayed not to keep they commandments.

(5.)  Psalms 119:  67, KJV:  67 Before I was afflicted I went astray:  but now have I kept thy word.

(6.)  Psalms 119:  75-76, KJV:  75 I know, O LORD, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.  76 Let, I pray thee, they merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.

(7.)  2nd Peter 1:  5-10, KJV:  5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;  6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;  7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.  8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.  10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure:  for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

There is far more to be said, understood, and spiritually taken in.  (For example, (8.)  Philippians 3:  12-14, KJV:  12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect:  but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.  13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended:  but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,  14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Four additional points are shared, today, on faith healing and “prayer death.”

THE BATTLE AXE:  “Prayer Death”? (02/21/2014)—(6.)  Agents not Caretakers.  The notion that adults are caretakers and property managers over minor children very often prevails above the idea that adults are agents to carry out and express a child’s needs, the child’s desires, the child’s integrity of person, and the child’s will.  Many Christian believers continue to operate with the understanding that minor children have no value as sentient beings in communion with GOD, and are only an expense and a liability that make no contribution to the prosperity or survival of communities, of their own families, or of the communities of faith.  More than this, they are accounted as “expendable”.  The Scriptures declare that children are the heritage of the Lord—a treasure and wealth that belongs to GOD.  Yet, many regard children as dependent and unable to make sound choices and decisions on their own behalf, or the behalf of others.  The subtle and widespread error therefore persists that children are human property of their parents, and may be destroyed, manipulated, promoted, or replaced in accordance with the emotional, psychological or spiritual expression of the adults who conceive them.  Parents absolutely must know and accept that their children are not their own, and their duty is to assist the child in developing after the divine will.  See Luke 1:  13-16 and 39-47, Jeremiah 1:  5-10, KJV.  (7.)  Adult Responsibility.  The duty of every adult believer is to behave in the most balanced, complete, mature, stable manner to nourish divinity and godliness in their children at all times.  While it is natural for children to refuse medical assistance because of fear, separation involved, uncertainty and weakness; the same can be unnatural for adults.  At the least it may be adult ignorance, immaturity and insensitivity, when parents fail to acknowledge that the bodies and minds of children do not function, and cannot be maintained in the same manner as for those who are full grown.  At its worst, it is arrogance, covetousness, criminal malice, “playing GOD,” and presumption.  Even though the Scriptures record that Elijah the Tishbite was miraculously delivered by GOD when Queen Jezebel swore to kill him; we are not to seek the same miracle to set food on our tables in our own homes, and for our own families.  GOD commanded the prophet to hide by the brook Cherith, to drink of its waters, and that GOD would command the ravens to feed him there.  See 1st Kings 17:  1-6, KJV.  (8.)  Redemption.  For many Christian believers, commitment to GOD through Jesus Christ requires a conscious decision to prayerfully and quietly bear suffering.  Adults routinely make similar knowing and willing choices (we may say, sacrifice) when challenged by duties and opportunities such as childbearing, homemaking, marriage, and military service.  Children are thought capable of only animal behavior, to operate in terms of appetite, emotion and instinct, rather than intellect, logic and reason.  All things dedicated and devoted to GOD, including children, may only  be conveyed and transferred into the divine presence (we say, heaven) by their presentation, slaying, and burning upon a holy altar.  Otherwise, they achieve status and acceptance by payment of a redemption price.  For the tribes of Jacob that left Egypt following Moses, the entire tribe of Levi became the redemption payment to GOD.  Later, Christ would come for salvation and redemption of all by a new covenant.  Even so, those who are redeemed continue as promised to GOD, and must serve as living sacrifices.  See Genesis 22:  1-3, Numbers 8:  17-19, Deuteronomy 18:  1, 1st Samuel 1:  21-28, Luke 2:  39-50 and Romans 12:  1-3, KJV.  (9.)  About Doctors and Medications.  Lacking meekness (i.e., willingness to be instructed and led by the holy writings and the imparted, indwelling Spirit), many will insist on their own way displaying the attitude that says, “you can’t teach me nothing; I’m right when I’m wrong, because….”  Yet, the Bible reports the use of balms, herbs, ointments, salt, spices, and even wine for treating injuries, maladies, sickness, and wounds.  Hezekiah was king of Judah when the word of the Lord came to him, that he would die of his sickness, despite the divine provision of physicians and other counselors.  The king was given a second prophecy that he would live another fifteen years, after obeying the prophet’s counsel to apply a poultice of figs.  Men are healed routinely by GOD through purging (we say, inner cleansing), proper diet, and rest.  Healing may occur naturally over time.  Divine intervention is rarely required given that sickness appears in known patterns that respond to familiar remedies.  While children are often more resilient than adults, and may bounce back from illness and fight off disease, they usually do not maintain careful regimens of hygiene, and are continually exposed to unseen germs and uncleanness.  It is no more a lack of faith to call for the service of those who have made careful study of disease and its cure, and are trained to assist adults and children, than it is a lack of faith to call a skilled mechanic to repair ones automobile.  When divine intervention is made, frequently it will come through agents appointed by GOD; and the healing will turn on rightly receiving them as having been sent by GOD.  Unfortunately, the account of a woman healed when she touched the hem of Jesus’ garment tends to convince many that doctors are dangerous and unreliable.  Jesus is cast in the mold of a country rabbi, a stranger seeking reputation as a doctor and theologian in Jerusalem.  Thinking like thieves, those weak in faith usually conclude that all physicians (and reverend doctors) are sent by the devil, are greedy, are grasping, are impersonal, are indifferent, and will exploit a person’s illness for money.  In pride, such believers assert that only they themselves are an acceptable provision from GOD.  These are as unlikely to accomplish healing for themselves of others as those who feel that sickness is divine punishment that must be accepted, or that fellow at the pool of Bethesda, drowning in self-pity, and awaiting the troubling of the waters, rather than the coming of Christ, the One Sent.  Their error is both that they condemn those truly appointed to heal, and they trust in prophets to heal who have not been sent for that purpose.  See 2nd Kings 2:  21, 2nd Kings 20:  5-7, Isaiah 1:  5-6, Jeremiah 23:  20-22, Jeremiah 30:  12-14, Ezekiel 13:  5-7, Matthew 9:  20-22, Matthew 14:  35-36 and John 5:  1-24, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  When the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, neither his disciples, they also took shipping, and came to Capernaum, seeking for Jesus.  And when they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said unto him, Rabbi, when camest thou hither?  Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.  Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.  Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?  Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.  They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?  Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.  Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.  For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.  Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.  And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life:  he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.  But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.  All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.  For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.  (John 6:  24-38, KJV)

For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble:  and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.  But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.  (Malachi 4:  1-2, KJV)
