Today, reply is on the dependence of salvation on the sacred element of grace, rather than on eternal condemnation, obedience, and other features associated with sacred law. Sinners are not justified by their own works, rather by the works of GOD. Many Christians speak of grace as unmerited favor, a special show of kindness, and of pardon for offenses. However, there is no “cause” or justification for displays of grace except that they are authentic expressions of the otherwise invisible and unseen personhood within divinity. In addition to gratitude and humility, the correct response to the grace of GOD that developing believers will provide include consistency, faithfulness, obedience, respect, righteousness, and trust. It is written: John 1: 15-17, King James Version (KJV): 15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. 16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. How many Christians believe that they will escape Hell even though they don’t obey all of Jesus’ sayings?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses. And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter. And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they. (Acts 15: 5-11, King James Version, KJV)

Forrest Toney”, in the same way Jesus Christ appears through the accord of divinity and not of himself, sinners are saved by grace (divine accord) rather than human devices. Among mature Christian believers, the operations and purposes of the law are directed to the functioning of Creation and the further putting forth of divine order, rather than to salvation and the recovery of mankind from sin. While sacred law defines, exposes, identifies sin, and makes a peculiar expression of divine love, the law itself does not declare forbearance, forgiveness, mercy, reconciliation, or redemption. Where believers focus on the judicial and legal concepts important to having benefits through the law, many continue in error failing to apprehend also that the invisible, unseen character, personhood, process, and substance of divinity are being openly displayed and revealed.

Sinners are saved by grace, an aspect of the full makeup of GOD. Without a saving relationship to divinity, whether they are conscious of it or not, ones condition by godly standards must be that of condemnation, guiltiness, misery, shame, and wretchedness. By the actions of grace, GOD dismisses both the darkness and negativity of their inner person, and their outward lifestyle, so to speak. Choosing to come to Christ, sinners are encouraged through changes, discoveries, new opportunities, and new possibilities.

Because of GOD’s grace embodied as Jesus Christ, inseparable aspects of the makeup of GOD are imparted to indwell those welcoming Christ through their own repentance. Included are faith, holiness, joy, respect, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Every element and feature required for salvation is supplied, so that GOD’s grace is said to be “all sufficient.” Thus, more than simply that GOD has divine prerogative and the authority to do as he pleases, grace describes the flowing together of many different sacred elements and operations. Included are benevolence, generosity, eternal purpose, impartiality (no bias, bigotry, prejudice), and sovereign will. The elements of desire, determination, preference, and self-will (willpower) within the sinner have no effect or power to cause or determine a person’s salvation from the divine judgment against sin. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. 2nd Corinthians 12: 6-10, King James Version (KJV): 6 For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me. 7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

2. Ephesians 2: 4-7, KJV: 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

3. Ephesians 2: 8-10, KJV: 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. John 1: 10-13, KJV: 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, points are shared on Christian believers expressing attitudes of aggressiveness, self-confidence, and toughness.  Without knowing all the peculiar details of another believer’s experiences, all mature Christians are careful to show respect and support to others, because everyone within the body continues to be vulnerable to challenge, unwanted change, and heartbreak.  Spiritual strength achieved through suffering has a very different look and feel than that from combativeness, defensiveness, enmity, and hardening of one’s heart.  Those who come to Christ include many who have had to be fighters and survivors within homes, schools, workplace and other settings that were marked by abuse, conflict, cruelty, deceit, destructiveness, divisiveness, hate, exaggerated pride, selfishness, stupidity, and violence.  Among Christian believers, what may appear as bragging, conceit, self-promotion, showing off, and vainglory, often are carefully prepared preaching, proclamation, and prophetic demonstration.  Born-again believers should continually display balance, holy boldness (courage), composure, dependability, firmness, meekness, perseverance, poise, resilience, sobriety, and stability.  Properly understood, the Gospel of Jesus Christ is a form and presentation of sacred truth that can not be transmitted by finite carnal, material and social operations such as argument, logic, persuasion, and reason.  The Gospel may be imparted only as a holy seed having the fullness of GOD, and as an unfolding presence of divinity.  One of the many annoying fighters at “Yahoo! THE GOLDEN ARROW:  I say again, let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little.  That which I speak, I speak it not after the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of boasting.  Seeing that many glory after the flesh, I will glory also.  For ye suffer fools gladly, seeing ye yourselves are wise.  For ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face.  I speak as concerning reproach, as though we had been weak. Howbeit whereinsoever any is bold, (I speak foolishly,) I am bold also.  (2nd Corinthians 11:  16-21, King James Version, KJV)

“Anonymous”, what the apostle calls “boasting” in fact are exhortation, praise, proclamation, personal testimony, and thanksgiving shared to reveal the operations of divinity in the life of a sinner.  The sacred operations of GOD for extending and maintaining Creation also require the awakening of conscience, the proclamation of divine law, the imparting of sacred knowledge, and the nourishment of trust.  To properly “receive” this, a hearer or viewer must have discernment (divinely-given ability to use one’s own spirit content to correctly recognize and respond to sacred essence from the makeup of GOD within doctrines, life events, oneself, other persons, prophecy, Scriptures, etc.).  Through Jesus Christ sinners are to receive permanent change in the character, nature and substance of their own measure of divine spirit.  Thus, sinners become “born again” in  water baptism (death of one’s inborn spirit, rebirth from divine DNA, so to speak); and must “grow up again” maturing and meeting life challenges upon the earth.  Many of the carnal, material, and social skills and strengths once employed for success and survival gradually will be replaced by those for spreading the Gospel, or finally become weakened from disuse.  For example, hustling, lying, persuasion, scamming, stealth, and violence become obsolete; while decisiveness, insightfulness, leadership, quick-thinking, and resourcefulness continue to have great value.  As Christian believers endure affliction, hardship, suffering and testing, they also are being supplied for their transformation at the coming of Jesus to exist as immortal, incorruptible companions to GOD.  Consider how some of this is stated using language from the Bible:

(1.)   Romans 6:  16-18, King James Version (KJV):  16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?  17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.  18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

(2.)  Ephesians 2:  1-6, KJV:  1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;  2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:  3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.  4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,  5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)  6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

(3.)  Romans 6:  20-23, KJV:  20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.  21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.  22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.  23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

There is far more to be said, carefully examined, and spiritually understood.  (For example, (4.)  1st Corinthians 2:  12-14, KJV:  12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.  13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.  14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:  for they are foolishness unto him:  neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, Scripture points are presented on the duty of Christian believers to share the testimony of Jesus.  Sharing sacred testimony is intended to continue divine revelation.  Those who display humility and meekness often are those who best provide the testimony of Jesus, for they do not seek acknowledgment, advantage, self-promotion, and their own glory.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Colton” (Level 1 with 97 points, a member since May 19, 2016) posted the following:

How do i give a testimony for my football team when i’ve been a christian all my life and i have no testimony?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.  Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner:  but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;  Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,  But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:  (2nd Timothy 1:  7-10, King James Version, KJV)

“Colton”, a testimony is a verbal report admissible as “evidence” in judgment (like ballistic test results, fibers, finger prints, surveillance camera film, a smoking gun) because it has the force of truth (…the whole truth, and nothing but the truth).  Many make the mistake of thinking they share sacred testimony when, in fact, they report only their own religious experiences, their private opinions, their own daily routines, or the unique and uncommon practices they may use when they reverence and worship GOD.  Where we speak on the basis of our own feelings, imagination, and thoughts, we speak “from ourselves.”  Correctly understood, those who are “born again” are to declare divine doctrine, preach the Gospel, proclaim the promises from GOD, and prophesy (i.e., declare divine intent and eternal purpose; comfort; edify; exhort).  In the same way boasting and bragging twist and warp confession, personal accounts and anecdotes quickly become ruined through exaggerated pride and self-promotion.  Unseen carnal, emotional, material and psychological forces may alter reports of experiences had among, and by family members and friends, making them only vicarious events and second-hand self-expressions, rather than genuine demonstrations from the divine Spirit.  Consider again how some of this is stated within the holy writings:

(1.)   John 7:  14-18, King James Version (KJV):  14 Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.  15 And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?  16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.  17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.  18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory:  but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

(2.)  Revelation 12:  7-11, KJV:  7 And there was war in heaven:  Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,  8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.  9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world:  he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.  10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ:  for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.  11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

(3.)  Revelation 12:  13-17, KJV:  13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.  14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.  15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.  16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.  17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

There is far more to be said, carefully examined, and spiritually understood.  (For example, (4.)  Revelation 19:  9-11, KJV:  9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.  10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not:  I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus:  worship God:  for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.  11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
