Today, the reply is on the lovingkindness of divinity being continually displayed in spite of mankind existing under conditions and laws that maintain human mortality. Just as the judgment of divinity to affirm human existence is characterized by impartiality, righteousness and mercy, all divine action and process displays impartiality, for impartiality is another inseparable aspect within the full makeup of GOD. The second death that is incurred through divine judgment completes Creation, and is not a contradiction of sacred love and eternal purpose. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Where was God when innocent people in New Zealand died? So much for being all loving.?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. (1st Thessalonians 4: 13-18, King James Version, KJV)

Anonymous”, among mature Christian believers, divinity is understood to exist as inseparable spirit substance (e.g., faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, wisdom, wrath against sin) that appears within the frameworks of time and space, yet, the Godhead themselves are not carnal, material, and visible using human flesh, except in the consecrated person of Jesus Christ. The impartiality of GOD that appears in ongoing and final judgment also is an aspect of divine mechanical and natural law that determine the course of mortality for created beings and living creatures. GOD does not impose death as an arbitrary personal act; and death can be the outcome of human affairs, discrete choices by individuals, and poor decision-making. Divinity should never be accused or blamed as the cause for any specific act of death and dying, for these are defining conditions for those living on the earth.

Diverse forms of independence, possibility, self-government under the dominion of GOD, and separation from the divine fullness are provided to the living. Thereby, the living may display accountability, lovingkindness imparted from the makeup of GOD, integrity, maturity, personhood, quality, self-will (we also say, willpower), soundness, value, and worth as living entities. Human potential permits the living to express their own character, makeup and nature as animal, human, or divine—sequentially (i.e., at various stages of growth, during different episodes and events, or as confusion, all at the same time).

Christian believers are to apprehend the meaning for existence, life, rebirth, and resurrection from the dead as aspects of sacred knowledge rather than worldly and secular knowledge. Thus, Christians receive comfort, healing and renewed hope from divine proclamations and promises such as the following that use language from the Bible:

1. Ecclesiastes 9: 10-12, King James Version (KJV): 10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. 11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. 12 For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.

2. Romans 8: 13-17, KJV: 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

3. Romans 8: 5-9, KJV: 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. 1st Corinthians 15: 50-58, KJV: 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. (Ephesians 4: 4-7, King James Version, KJV)

Anonymous”, mature Christian believers find it easy to grasp that the makeup and full substance of mankind is more than dust from the ground. There are aspects of humankind that are not carnal, material, mental, or social, and must be spoken of as “profound”, for they consist of things that describe divinity, existence, and life essence (we say, breath; spirit; divine utterance; word) imparted to mankind from the substance of GOD (we also say, divine fullness; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit). With this in view, the character, content, process and quality of created beings and living creatures can be assessed, evaluated and judged on the basis of their measure of sacred consciousness, divine endowment and eternal purpose, not merely by what appears as finite behavior, desire, and self-will.

Science provides hypothesis and theory in order to establish mechanical and natural laws. Using only secular knowledge, the scientific method proposes to accurately describe all the relevant patterns and relationships appearing when measurable dimensions and phenomena are manipulated. Therefore, the tools that identify genuine science include experimentation, observation, the recording of precise information, and continuing research. While the various fields of science have permitted exciting dialogue and engaging speculations on the origins of mankind, the solar system, and the universe, science, in fact, offers no better than such claims that “something” began from “nothing”; there was a great explosion having no known cause, that separated into discrete parts something that once existed as a whole; or there is an expansion of the mathematical point (having no known origin) that now exists as the framework for time and space.

Christianity requires ones full lifetime, and can not be apprehended overnight, for it is a comprehensive and direct system for developing ones consciousness and self-will pertaining to such topics as divinity, duration, existence, fruitage, life, meaning, origin, personhood, purpose, oneness without sameness, sanctification, and value. Revelation is the sacred process wherein divinity is made knowable, known, accessible and approachable to created beings and living creatures. Spirit substance from the makeup of GOD is imparted to the living that enables their understanding of sacred mystery. Included are faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Sinners are to become born again, exist as developing Christian believers, and become mature/ripe for harvest at the return of Jesus Christ (we say, the Advent, the Rapture, the Second Coming). Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Genesis 1: 1-3, King James Version (KJV): 1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

2. Isaiah 40: 25-26, KJV: 25 To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One. 26 Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.

3. Romans 1: 20-23, KJV: 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

4. Isaiah 40: 28-31, KJV: 28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. 29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

5. Isaiah 55: 6-12, KJV: 6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. 12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 6. Today, the reply is on atheist disbelief existing as an aspect of reason and science, yet, being no alternative to acknowledgement, commitment, and faith that respond to the existence of divine fullness.  The problems generated by atheism center on false and logically flawed professions to justify disbelief; the endorsement of pseudo-intellectualism; and the communication, proliferation, and transfer of vanity (the lack of divine content and sacred substance).  Using the disciplines and rules for genuine scientific inquiry, there are multiple times and settings where divinity is an inappropriate hypothetical concept that does not further clarification, discourse, and formal dialog.  In such cases, divinity correctly should be excluded as an unworkable abstraction.  That this is so does not discount the truth that spiritual events and operations require discipline, knowledge, and practice that are sacred in content, operation, and outcome as seen through fasting, prayer, and exorcism.  One of the many fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” forum who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

Why is it that by many definitions atheism is very stupid?

Even Carl Sagan said

“An atheist is someone who is certain that God does not exist, someone who has compelling evidence against the existence of God. I know of no such compelling evidence. Because God can be relegated to remote times and places and to ultimate causes, we would have to know a great deal more about the universe than we do know to be sure that no such God exist”

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit;  And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him:  and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.  He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.  And they brought him unto him:  and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.  And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child.  And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him:  but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.  Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.  And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.  When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.  And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him:  and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.  But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose.  And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out?  And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.  (Mark 9:  17-29, King James Version, KJV)

“Anonymous”, science does not go far enough in reaching all human needs.  Finite carnal reason and logic that serve as the platform for atheist thought are not complex, truly intellectual, or profound.  Simply put, and using common sense terms, two rules prevail:  (1) “seeing is believing;” and (2) the only phenomena of life that is fit for the focus of science must display measurable dimensions (e.g., amount, density, height, length, weight), and must be subject to experimental manipulation.  The human mind is bombarded with enormous amounts of data and information from moment to moment.  Included are signals from organs and tissues that make up the material body, emotions (e.g., anger, fear, sorrow), operations of the mind (e.g., clairvoyance, imagination, recall, thought), and sensations (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching).  There must be principles, rules and standards in place that establish order, determine benefit, and permit the recognition of priority conditions and unmet needs.

Properly understood, science and its promotion of secular knowledge, is a peculiar accord and covenant for shared meaning, quality, and value that denies and excludes consideration of everything that has divinity as its cause, makeup, origin, and process.  The excellence and usefulness of science turns on its attention to detail through analysis; its establishment of predictability and validity through precise measurement and repetition; and its being able to identify fixed points of reference within complex, hidden, or obscured sequences.  Thus, in the same way children who can recite their ABCs are not foretelling the future, or reading the mind of their teacher when saying the alphabet, yet, they know “XYZ” is coming, science, too, is a limited, plain, and simple element for understanding the fullness of life.  (While children may recite the alphabet perfectly, many still can not read and write.  They must gain skill to perform the routines of combination and permutation used when sounding out or spelling words; and they must practice to develop comprehension.)

Like the frameworks of time and space, secular knowledge is an adjunct, an additional tool, and a further provision from divinity along with sacred knowledge, and is not in place of sacred knowledge.  (Has the automobile completely eliminated the usefulness of a bicycle?)  Mankind has very real, unmet emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs that even medical science does not address.  Included are needs for forgiveness, peace, relief from human error and sin (even scientists are included within the class of “sinners”), respect, and truth that directs and sustains the highest levels for human potential.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  John 4:  24,  King James Version (KJV):  24 God is a Spirit:  and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

(2.)  Romans 10:  1-9, KJV:  1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.  2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.  3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.  4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.  5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.  6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)  7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)  8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart:  that is, the word of faith, which we preach;  9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

There are many more verses and passages that could be cited.  (For example, (3. ) Romans 1:  16-22, KJV:  16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ:  for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.  17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith:  as it is written, The just shall live by faith.  18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;  19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.  20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:  21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, thoughts are shared on death and righteousness within the ministry of salvation provided by Jesus Christ.  Divinity administers death through divine order, sacred law, and as the outworking of gradual processes that are cyclic, predictable, regular, and stable.  While there are many different immediate events (including terrorism) that can be associated with a person’s decease (we say, spoken of as the “cause of death”), death does not usually occur as a sacred event (miracle) expressing the authority and majesty of GOD.  One of the fighters at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information appears) posted the following:

Agree or Disagree? the reason God permitted the September 11, 2001 victims to die was because it was their time to die. If the terrorists?

didn’t use their free will to commit the 9/11 terrorist attack these 2,996 people would have died by other causes.

– God found ways to save those people who were meant to live.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;  Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit:  for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.  But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:  How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?  For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.  For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.  For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.  Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:  (2nd Corinthians 3:  5-12, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Corruption of Ones Spirit? (05/14/2017); The Nature of Death (04/25/2017); The Comfort Through Christ? (01/13/2017); Reflections on Existence (12/19/2016); GOD Knows Tomorrow? (04/12/2013); Why Blood? (04/13/2013); Time Before the Sun? (04/14/2013)

“Anonymous”, many speak of death as a one-time event for each created being or living creature that is administered and ruled by GOD through biological or mechanical law and process.  As a result, they also allow for “exceptions to the rule,” the occurrence of specific divine interventions as well as intrusions for divine “arbitrary causes” (e.g., accidents, “blessing (!)” chance, fate, luck, predetermination).  Some even mistakenly speak of death as a tool used with divine law only for punishment, and not also for admonition, correction, and release.  Here are some thoughts you might find useful:

1.  In the understanding of many mature Christian believers, the use of death by divinity pertains to the accomplishment of eternal purposes that appear and are manifest as (1) the Creation, (2) the putting forth of existence, (3) the continuing of life, and (4) the ceaseless motions that are edification and growth.  Death is first introduced in the holy writings as “sleep” that allows a rib to be taken from Adam and be fashioned into a female.

2.  Divine law and sacred process see the continued presence of death among created beings and living creatures as (1) an inseparable condition and requirement for their existence (we say, mortality); (2) an aspect of divine order that influences awareness and self-will within the living; and (3) a tool that breaks off otherwise permanent joining and relationships that oppose the will of GOD (e.g., adultery, bondage, fornication, witchcraft).  The second death (destruction in the Lake of Fire) will be used to eliminate every person and vessel of divine spirit that has been warped by the operations of sin so much that they no longer bear the divine image, and are no longer capable of responding to the sovereign will of GOD.

3.  To say that Christ died so that we may live is to proclaim that, using the seed from Adam, special (yet, lawful) operations have been carried out by divinity to produce an entirely new creation.  Upon the cross, Jesus Christ (an embodiment of both divinity and mankind) also became an embodiment of sin; sin then was destroyed through death; and all who believe in Christ became released from their sins through his death.  For Christian believers, death has become a temporary interruption of eternal life (we again say, sleep).  Spirit content and substance from the makeup of GOD are being imparted to indwell the living.  Included are faith, gratitude, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, meekness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  Genesis 9:  5-7, King James Version (KJV):  5 And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man.  6 Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed:  for in the image of God made he man.  7 And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein.

(2.)  Ezekiel 18:  23-24, KJV:  23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GODand not that he should return from his ways, and live?  24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned:  in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Luke 13:  1-5, KJV:  1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.  2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?  3 I tell you, Nay:  but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.  4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?  5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, accountability, duty, and the nonnegotiable standards for relationship with GOD are in view.  Where created beings and living creatures demonstrate awareness and self-will they also have standing with divinity as more than abstractions, simple objects, and unspecified items.  The living contribute to sacred events and eternal purposes as well as to the character and nature of human events.  Given they “compete” for attention and spirit resources from GOD, the living are assessed and assigned value in accordance with responsiveness to sacred law, divine order, and standards for spirit existence that are put forth by the Creator.  The fighter at “Yahoo! THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And as for you, O my flock, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats.  Seemeth it a small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but ye must tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures? and to have drunk of the deep waters, but ye must foul the residue with your feet?  And as for my flock, they eat that which ye have trodden with your feet; and they drink that which ye have fouled with your feet.  Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle.  Because ye have thrust with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your horns, till ye have scattered them abroad;  Therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle.  And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.  And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it.  And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land:  and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.  And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.  And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them.  (Ezekiel 34:  17-27, King James Version, KJV)

“Spectreskeptic”, in the same way personal relationship with divinity is complex and rich because it requires multiple aspects of communication and exchange (e.g., confession, petition, praise, prayer, silence, thanksgiving, truth), and mature love is never simple for it always requires accountability, commitment, restraint, and unselfish sacrifice, the final judgment of GOD is more complex and difficult than created beings and living creatures are equipped to comprehend and carry out apart from divinity.  Multiple elements that are hidden and unseen contribute to visible events and occurrences as causes, influences, origins, triggers, etc.  In accordance with published law and standards, weight must be assigned without bias and partiality (we say, judgment must be made) to each contributing factor as well as to the soundness of information (e.g., complaints, eyewitness accounts, sworn testimony) documenting actions taken by the persons involved, changes produced, consequences, and effects.  (As with the holy writings, various accounts do not have to be exactly the same, yet, must agree, fit together and affirm or corroborate one another).  For divine judgment, focus is less upon attitudes, behavior, and conduct that are driven by aspects of “the flesh,” and emphasis is more upon discerning the presence of inseparable spirit matter from the makeup of Deity.  Included should be balance, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, meekness, stability, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Deeds and works will be examined as indicators of awareness, sacred knowledge, and expressions of self-will distinct from spirit makeup.  Consider again the following principles of divine judgment from the Bible:

(1.)   John 7:  24, King James Version (KJV):  24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

(2.)  Matthew 12:  35-37, KJV:  35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things:  and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.  36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.  37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

(3.)  Romans 8:  13-17, KJV:  13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die:  but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Matthew 18:  6-8, KJV:  6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.  7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!  8 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee:  it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, the testimony granted the Apostle Paul as his experience of conversion, and the parable of the Good Samaritan are considered.  Points are shared on understanding the sacred operations and active presence of GOD that many mistakenly take to be the immediate cause, origin, and purpose for sacred events.  Divinity has even been accused and charged with cruelty, error, indifference, and prejudice against mankind on the basis of actions and interventions by GOD that necessarily admonish, correct, depose those having authority, punish, impose suffering, and provide more complete revelation.  While sacred outcomes always appear where there are oneness of intent and divine substance, diversity also may appear that continues oneness without sameness.  A fighter at “Yahoo! Why did God cause the Good Samaritan, who stopped to help Jesus on the Road to Damascus, to go blind for three days?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  I verily thought with myself, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.  Which thing I also did in Jerusalem:  and many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against them.  And I punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto strange cities.  Whereupon as I went to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests,  At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.  And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.  And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.  But rise, and stand upon thy feet:  for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;  Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,  To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.  (Acts 26:  9-18, King James Version, KJV)

“Digital”, for mature Christian believers, the answers to your question (and others like it) are determined by the character, nature, and substance of divinity, and the fact that sacred operations must establish conditions, demands, and fixed patterns that reveal and show agreement among such features as sovereign authority, sacred events, divine law, promise, prophecy, eternal purpose, divine prerogative, sacred knowledge, the stipulations of covenant relationships, and the content of open vision.

The account of the Good Samaritan appears in Scripture as a parable (i.e., a brief narrative used for illustration, and object lessons), and is different from the testimony (i.e., words that are spoken in witness to divine operations, and provided as evidence in judgment) shared by the Apostle Paul on being called by Jesus to serve the ministry of Christ.

As a Pharisee, Paul was in a condition of spiritual blindness from the time he offered himself as a champion of the covenant of Moses, a defender of the culture and tradition of the Jews, and a promoter of the peculiar politics of assimilation and compromise with Rome that were dominant throughout the Temple community.  The High Priest was among the Sadducees who had condemned the Lord to crucifixion; and they appointed and officially commissioned Paul to serve as a destroyer of Christian belief.  In effect, Paul became chief of the secret police, the Lord High executioner, and a “killing judge,” who was on his way to Damascus to eliminate what he mistakenly took to be a great threat.

There is far more to be said, carefully examined, and spiritually understood.  (For example, the holy writings make it clear, that Paul had been chosen, was gradually built up and edified through the Spirit of Prophecy, and endowed with a broad range of special experiences that together would have the same weight as multiple physical appearances of Jesus Christ, and of the Holy Spirit.  Included were the conduct, devotion to Jesus, faithful examples, and powerful testimonies from the many believers he arrested, harassed, interrogated, imprisoned, and executed; experience of death, burial (3 days like that of Jesus) for Paul’s inborn spirit with resurrection and rebirth from divine DNA, so to speak; and realization of a new testament and a “new creation” by GOD through Christ.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

The teachings of Jesus to clarify his divine purpose, sufferings and death as the promised Messiah are considered, today.  Because the Savior’s ministry became known and was associated with feeding and healing the multitudes as well as promoting the causes of Jewish culture, political freedom and survival in seeming defiance of Rome, an atmosphere of secular celebration and pessimism began to appear among the Jews.  By his proclamations of death, resurrection, and glorification, Jesus also promoted a consciousness that included bereavement, disappointment, sorrow, and uncertainty that even contended against the genuine expressions of sacred gratitude, joy, relief, and renewed confidence in divinity.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Jehovah’s Witnesses and other Christians: Did Jesus have difficulty explaining his approaching suffering and death?

Or did the disciples understand immediately?

Matthew 16:21
Matthew 17:22, 23
Matthew 20:17-19

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?  And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?  And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:  And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.  But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel:  and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.  Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre;  And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.  And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said:  but him they saw not.  Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:  Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?  And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.  (Luke 24:  17-27, KJV)

“Hannah J Paul”, may I share a few thoughts, and some Scripture points often overlooked regarding the revelation of Jesus to Israel as the promised Messiah:

(1.)  That Messiah, who was held as the final and highest hope of Israel should suffer and die like a common person or criminal was not “impossible”, it was unthinkable.  The awareness of the disciples had to be transformed to embrace truth upon a cosmic and exalted scale.  Mark 8:  31-33, King James Version (KJV):  31 And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.  32 And he spake that saying openly. And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him.  33 But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan:  for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.

(2.)  Those who approached Jesus as the ruler from GOD who  had been prophesied in the Hebrew Scriptures did so with carnal, material and social desires being uppermost.  Messiah was to be a deliverer, a liberator, a king, and a warrior who would oust the foreign conquerors and oppressing empires, restore the patterns of ownership and divine distribution for the land as well as initiate a golden age of prosperity and wealth.  Matthew 19:  27, KJV:  27 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?

(3.)  As the rule for life within the Temple community of Jesus’ day (that included the High Priest, the Sanhedrin court of 70 elders, priests, Levites, scribes, lawyers, currency exchange and money-changers as well as sellers of livestock for offerings, laypersons in dedication to GOD, and beggars), “the law and the prophets” had become an emphasis upon law without the prophets, for there had been no prophet from GOD in the tradition of Moses, Samuel, Elisha, and others until John the Baptist.  The divine process surrounding prophets sent from GOD was suppressed for a period of more than 400 years.  Zechariah 7:  11-12, KJV:  11 But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.  12 Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets:  therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts.

(4.)  Messiah was to fulfill divine proclamations, prophecy, and promises in the role of a servant, not as a master.   Isaiah 53:  3-6, KJV:  3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief:  and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.  4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows:  yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.  5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities:  the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.  6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

(5.)  As with the system of atonement, offerings and sacrifices through the shedding of blood, the preeminent authority of prophecy and revelation would be sealed as consecrated and lawful through innocent blood.  Acts 3:  22-23, KJV:  22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.  23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

There is much more that could be said, and that must be correctly understood and spiritually taken into account.  (For example,  (6.)  In addition to a ruler that would appear and serve as the agent of divinity for judgment, Messiah, like Moses, was to establish and serve by introducing a covenant and priesthood.  Malachi 2:  3-9, KJV:  3 Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it.  4 And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.  5 My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name.  6 The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips:  he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity.  7 For the priest’s lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth:  for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.  8 But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.  9 Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law.)  Even so, I trust this collection of verses will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
