The image depicts the predicament of saints joined to sinners, Be not unequally yoked (see image reference below).

Today, reply is on ministry to chasten sinners who are members within a church congregation through avoidance and separation called “shunning”. Instances and offenses can appear in the household of faith where a member is to be cut off. Thus, it is written: 1st Corinthians 5: 1-8, King James Version (KJV): 1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife. 2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you. 3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed, 4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, 5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. 6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? 7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: 8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. Christians, does bible say to shun people who sin?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. (Jude 1: 20-25, King James Version, KJV)

Anonymous”, here are counsels shared among those of the early church that developing Christians today also are careful to examine and apply:

1. 2nd Corinthians 6: 14, King James Version (KJV): 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

2. Proverbs 4: 13-19, KJV: 13 Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life. 14 Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. 15 Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away. 16 For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall. 17 For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence. 18 But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. 19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.

3. Ephesians 5: 5-11, KJV: 5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. 7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them. 8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: 9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

4. 2nd Timothy 3: 1-5, KJV: 1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 5. 2nd Thessalonians 3: 13-16, KJV: 13 But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing. 14 And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed. 15 Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother. 16 Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

longsuffering

Today, reply is on whether GOD is an enemy to mankind because divinity also administers sacred law, admonitions, correction, punishment, warnings, and descriptions of the future events, outcomes, and results of human choices and decisions that oppose the will of divine fullness. The eternal purpose of GOD proclaimed through his holy name is existence and life (we say, I AM); and it is by continuing in relationship with the active presence who is GOD the Creator that mankind is to have permanent direction, duration, and value. There are attentions and chastisements from GOD to reveal his character, nature, and substance. Created beings and living creatures apprehend their own identity and integrity of being where they receive fresh endowments of spirit matter from the makeup of divinity. Included are faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, righteousness, and wisdom. It is written: Hebrews 12: 7-9, King James Version (KJV): 7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. 9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “STEVAN” (Level 1 with 25 points, a member since February 12, 2016) posted the following:

When is God planning to destroy the human race for a second time with fire. Surely he is the enemy of humanity with these constant threats?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. (2nd Corinthians 5: 7-10, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Ye That Work Iniquity (09/24/2018); Consequences and Divine Love (07/05/2018); His Enemies A Footstool (04/29/2018); Our Fitness To Continue? (12/24/2017); Divine Wrath Against Sin? (10/17/2017); Herein Is True Love (10/21/2016); By Law and Relationships (04/05/2016); An Attack on Creation? (12/08/2012); The Focus of Judgment? STEVAN”, because divinity is invisible, unseen spirit, GOD uses many carnal, material, social, and spiritual tools that are graphic and memorable to impress the hearts and minds of the living. Included are admonitions, cautions, death, and prophetic demonstrations. GOD is not a malicious destroyer who has set out to harass and heap scorn upon the created beings and living creatures within his universe. The eternal and unchanging purpose demonstrated and revealed by divinity is that there be existence and life. At some point in their becoming “born again” and “growing up again” to display genuine maturity, repenting sinners who become developing Christian believers acknowledge that they themselves also have received guidance and instruction from divinity whereby they clearly realize the excellence of sacred knowledge over secular knowledge, the higher value of sacred events (miracles) and sacred practices (sacraments) as well as the true integrity and righteousness of GOD. A child whose father repeats a warning about leaving their basketball, the bicycle, the football, or the skateboard in the drive way, might complain to their peers and playmates that their own father is threatening to junk all their stuff! Sadly, it may turn out that mom is the one who finally crushes their belongings, and must go through the expense and humiliation of accounting for an error with the auto insurance adjuster. Yes, where we seek to continue in a right relationship with divinity, there are issues of obedience, privilege, respect, and understanding. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Ezekiel 18: 4, King James Version (KJV): 4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

2. Ezekiel 18: 26-32, KJV: 26 When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die. 27 Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive. 28 Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die. 29 Yet saith the house of Israel, The way of the Lord is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? are not your ways unequal? 30 Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. 31 Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? 32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

3. Luke 12: 32, KJV: 32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. (Romans 8: 5-9, KJV: 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Make Me a Servant

Lyrics for the hymn, Make Me A Servant by Kelley Willard (© 1982 Maranatha Music, Willing Heart Music and CCCM Music (ASCAP)(admin. by Music Services); see image reference above)

Today, reply is on the sacred excellence of Christian servitude. All Christian believers are to respond to one another as though always acting in obedience to, and presenting the presence of Jesus Christ. In this way courtesy, empathy, impartiality, and respect continually appear among the members of the body, the church. When unselfish service is properly practiced at every levelno matter how menial or small ones assignments and tasks may be within the household of faith—those who are cheerful and dutiful earn merit, and add great value on the basis of their bestowal of affection, loyalty, respect, and trust; by their ability to secure, confidences, mysteries, and secrets as well as through their maintenance of discretion, humility, integrity, and self-government under acknowledged authority. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shown) posted the following:

What do you do when a guy calls you a bastard in church?

My first visiting a church was a food offering that was happening and my friend invited me to come. The guy who was serving tea because he made the tea was angry at people taking too much cups and my friend and I were standing in front of him and he looked at me taking cups and said ‘bastard.”

What the f? why the hell would you come to church in the first place if your in an angry place? I hope Hell is guaranteed for someone like you. I have been visiting the church to see that bastard again so I can call him the same way he called me bastard to his face

Update: I NEVER call anybody bastard in the first place. I was in peace enjoying my food. Bastard originally means you have no father. My father died and is in heaven, Thank God for that because he is saved from this horrible world full of angry people calling people names for no reason.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men. Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. (Romans 14: 17-19, King James Version, KJV)

Anonymous”, sinners who choose to come to GOD through Jesus Christ eventually are to become anointed and ordained as priests, kings and joint-heirs with the Son of the Highest by receiving a fresh endowment of spirit substance from the makeup of divinity. Included are Christ-likeness, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Water baptism depicts the death, burial, and rebirth of ones inborn spirit; and those who become born-again also are to “grow up again” to become mature/ripe for harvest by the Lord at his appearing (we also say, the Advent; the Rapture; the Second Coming).

The transformation to become one of those who will meet the Lord in the air is completed in the twinkling of an eye; however, permanent changes in ones lifestyle and daily routine begin with the decision to acknowledge Christ as Savior. Only by operations of the Holy Spirit are the character, makeup, and spirit content of GOD imparted to the followers of Christ. Believers are edified and nourished through such life experiences as acknowledging correction, discovery, “growing pains,” enduring hardship, gradual growth, sacrifice, unselfish service, study of the holy writings, and suffering.

Before any believer may receive a crown of life, they will have learned and practiced the meaning and value of forgiveness, giving, ministry, oneness without sameness, respect, restraint that displays love, and service. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Matthew 20: 20-29, King James Version (KJV): 20 Then came to him the mother of Zebedee’s children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him. 21 And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom. 22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able. 23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father. 24 And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren. 25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. 26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; 27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: 28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. 29 And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.

2. Luke 17: 7-10, KJV: 7 But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat? 8 And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink? 9 Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not. 10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. Hebrews 12: 3-9, KJV: 3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. 4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. 5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. 9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

AN AFTERTHOUGHT: When Samuel the Prophet anointed David, the son of Jesse, to be the divinely appointed ruler over all Israel, David was yet within the household of King Saul as the kings adopted son; the Champion of Israel, a chief warrior, and a commander over one thousand troops; the kings exorcist, music minister, and personal physician; and the kings son-in-law by marriage to his daughter Michal. It would be an entire generation (40 years) before David would finally wear the crown, and receive the allegiance and fealty from all the 12 tribes. David endured a period as a fugitive, a nomad, and a vagabond that provided growth, practical knowledge, and testing to establish lasting strength. David was required to serve in many lesser roles before he would be acknowledged as Judge, King, Priest, and Prophet. In the same way, before developing Christians may judge, officiate, reign, or rule within the kingdom of heaven they must become refined and tempered within the fire of service. It is written: 1st Peter 1: 3-9, King James Version (KJV): 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: 7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

Humble Yourselves

Today, reply is on forms of suffering among the saved. Having to be accountable for routine duties and obligations required for development and survival should not be regarded as suffering. Included are having to secure food and shelter; having to maintain ones health; and having to complete aging, maturing, and mortality. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile is shared) posted the following:

How is the suffering of the saved?

Is that true that the saved suffer even before be saved?

if a person is not persecuted and suffer that means that she’s not saved?

What to do when the person is suffering?

What’s the difference of the saved suffering and the wicked suffering?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. (1st Peter 5: 8-11, King James Version, KJV)

Anonymous”, suffering does not appear among the saved as condemnation and punishment. Here are examples and Scripture points that describe forms of suffering that believers may encounter as aspects of their growth, sacred service, and spiritual training:

1. Chastening/Correction — Revelation 3: 17-22, King James Version (KJV): 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eye-salve, that thou mayest see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

2. Prophetic Demonstration — Ezekiel 4: 1-8, KJV: 1 Thou also, son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, and portray upon it the city, even Jerusalem: 2 And lay siege against it, and build a fort against it, and cast a mount against it; set the camp also against it, and set battering rams against it round about. 3 Moreover take thou unto thee an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy face against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel. 4 Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity. 5 For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel. 6 And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year. 7 Therefore thou shalt set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and thine arm shall be uncovered, and thou shalt prophesy against it. 8 And, behold, I will lay bands upon thee, and thou shalt not turn thee from one side to another, till thou hast ended the days of thy siege.

3. Persecution — Acts 16: 16-24, KJV: 16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: 17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. 18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour. 19 And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers, 20 And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city, 21 And teach customs, which are not lawful for us to receive, neither to observe, being Romans. 22 And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them. 23 And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely: 24 Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.

4. Chance — Judges 11: 30-36, KJV: 30 And Jephthah vowed a vow unto the LORD, and said, If thou shalt without fail deliver the children of Ammon into mine hands, 31 Then it shall be, that whatsoever cometh forth of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the children of Ammon, shall surely be the LORD’s, and I will offer it up for a burnt offering. 32 So Jephthah passed over unto the children of Ammon to fight against them; and the LORD delivered them into his hands. 33 And he smote them from Aroer, even till thou come to Minnith, even twenty cities, and unto the plain of the vineyards, with a very great slaughter. Thus the children of Ammon were subdued before the children of Israel. 34 And Jephthah came to Mizpeh unto his house, and, behold, his daughter came out to meet him with timbrels and with dances: and she was his only child; beside her he had neither son nor daughter. 35 And it came to pass, when he saw her, that he rent his clothes, and said, Alas, my daughter! thou hast brought me very low, and thou art one of them that trouble me: for I have opened my mouth unto the LORD, and I cannot go back. 36 And she said unto him, My father, if thou hast opened thy mouth unto the LORD, do to me according to that which hath proceeded out of thy mouth; forasmuch as the LORD hath taken vengeance for thee of thine enemies, even of the children of Ammon.

5. Transition — Genesis 31: 38-44, KJV: 38 This twenty years have I been with thee; thy ewes and thy she goats have not cast their young, and the rams of thy flock have I not eaten. 39 That which was torn of beasts I brought not unto thee; I bare the loss of it; of my hand didst thou require it, whether stolen by day, or stolen by night. 40 Thus I was; in the day the drought consumed me, and the frost by night; and my sleep departed from mine eyes. 41 Thus have I been twenty years in thy house; I served thee fourteen years for thy two daughters, and six years for thy cattle: and thou hast changed my wages ten times. 42 Except the God of my father, the God of Abraham, and the fear of Isaac, had been with me, surely thou hadst sent me away now empty. God hath seen mine affliction and the labour of my hands, and rebuked thee yesternight. 43 And Laban answered and said unto Jacob, These daughters are my daughters, and these children are my children, and these cattle are my cattle, and all that thou seest is mine: and what can I do this day unto these my daughters, or unto their children which they have born? 44 Now therefore come thou, let us make a covenant, I and thou; and let it be for a witness between me and thee.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 6. Martyrdom/Sacrifice — Mark 6: 21-29, KJV: 21 And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief estates of Galilee; 22 And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and them that sat with him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I will give it thee. 23 And he sware unto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give it thee, unto the half of my kingdom. 24 And she went forth, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptist. 25 And she came in straightway with haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that thou give me by and by in a charger the head of John the Baptist. 26 And the king was exceeding sorry; yet for his oath’s sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her. 27 And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought: and he went and beheaded him in the prison, 28 And brought his head in a charger, and gave it to the damsel: and the damsel gave it to her mother. 29 And when his disciples heard of it, they came and took up his corpse, and laid it in a tomb.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

penitence and true sorrow for sin

A depiction of penitence and sorrow for sin

Today, reply is on the sacred process provided for members within the church to edify and encourage one another to realize the workings of sin within ones own life. Because the operations of sin appear through the flesh and multiple life events that appear natural and normal (e.g., appetite, sensation, emotion/mind), sinners often approve sin as the expression of their true self, not something alien, contrary to their divine nature, or something to be condemned. One of the most important benefits the church provides to a developing believer, therefore, is communication, feedback and input that will expose sin, and encourage its recognition, resistance against sin, and a full rejection of sin. Correctly understood, the church is not intended to exist as a gathering place for entertainment and recreation, a center to address problems of poverty and social welfare, or a venue housing a collection of support groups for meeting life challenges (e.g., addiction, indebtedness, mental health issues, single parenting, nourishing healthy sexual development). As with those who belong to the consecrated body, what those outside of the membership regard as coldness, hostility, indifference, judging others, and unfriendliness should be discerned instead as the expression of divine love appearing as discipline, correction, wrath against sin, and the workings of divinity that establish the new creation of Jesus Christ. Why do Christians self-righteously condemn, attack & kick weaker & newer Christians down, when they sin, rather than building them up?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.(Hebrews 12: 6-10, King James Version, KJV)

Anonymous”, here are some points to consider that are being shared within the church of Jesus Christ among sinners who have voluntarily chosen to become Christian believers:

1. Just as the existence and origin of divine fullness (we say, the sum and totality of divine substance; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) is a mystery that can not be explained on the basis of things carnal, material, mechanical or social, sin continues to be an enigma that has no origin or substance from divinity, yet, may have dominion over the consciousness and self-will of created beings and living creatures. Sin has is no material or tangible thing that exists, yet, sin has direction, effect, and presence.

2. Sin is irrational (i.e., does not operate according to carnal reason, intelligence, knowledge, or logic). Sin promotes nonexistence, is self-destructive, and works to re-restore the conditions of chaos, flux, and the confusion that were in place before the founding of heaven and earth. Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Lawgiver, and all divine order throughout the universe.

3. Sinners and many of those who become developing believers are at first blind (i.e., can not see that sin opposes their own existence and is contrary to their own true nature as created beings and vessels of sacred life essence (we also say, breath; spirit; word) from the makeup of GOD). All developing believers must be given experience and instruction regarding things that are natural before they correctly begin to experience things that are spiritual. New believers must be given practical experience and practice of discernment that includes censure, chastisement, correction, and rebuke before they may be confirmed as believers, and correctly recognize and respond to sin in ways that indicate maturity (i.e., acceptance of accountability, balance, commitment, completeness, consistency, growth, sobriety, stability).

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, not only must new believers be shown their own errors in attitude, behavior or conduct and their transgressions of divine law, they must be helped to discover, realize, and come to sorrow for their own sins before they are truly Christlike, fully bear the image of GOD, and are useful as those who have received salvation.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Partakers of His Holiness

Today, reply is on divine chastisement, respect, and student responses to teacher autonomy and behavior to continue a formal atmosphere for learning. Lessons that fit us for eternal life are acquired on a regular basis through many of our ordinary, daily routines. Even so, Christian teens and young adults may express angry feelings of being unfairly imposed on in school settings, and may mistakenly receive assignments, discipline, practice, and study as detention, penalties, persecution, or punishment. Some are overly quick to complain and label as malicious the necessary requirements for instruction and classroom order. These may even attribute and label confiscation of their Bible, interruption of their time for prayer and praise, and restriction of proselytizing as malicious, and “from the devil.” Discernment of spirit content from GOD must be developed; and it is correct to acknowledge Hebrews 12: 1-8, King James Version (KJV): 1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. My teacher took away my Bible?

We were in class today during study hall. The teacher took away a Muslims book and then my Bible. She said no religious books, do it at home. Can I sue this old bat?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; (Philippians 2: 13-15, King James Version, KJV)

Anonymous”, developing and mature Christian believers all have begun as sinners, and as those in need of transformation, guidance, sacred knowledge, and spiritual training (we also say, discipline). Multiple sacred operations must be completed that establish fellowship and joining among those entering covenant relationship with divinity, who eventually will appear as part of a community or household of faith; and there must be divinely provided opportunities and possibilities for discovery, gradual growth, continuous learning, practice, and unselfish service. Believers who are “born again” also must “grow up again” to become mature (balanced; complete; consistent; ripe; stable) for harvest by the Lord at his appearing (Advent; the Rapture; the Second Coming). Through the sacred operations of baptism that depict death of ones inborn spirit and rebirth from divine DNA so to speak, believers receive fresh endowments of life essence (breath; spirit; word) from the makeup of divinity. Included are faith, holiness, impartiality, longsuffering, lovingkindness, meekness, personhood, purity, restraint, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Increasingly, believers show themselves willing to be held accountable and “teachable” during the period for mastering skills and preparing to minister to others. Often for priests and kings, there are unwanted yet unavoidable challenges, duty, hardship, service, and suffering that will draw upon their inseparable deposits of godly strength. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.) Zephaniah 2: 2-3, King James Version (KJV): 2 Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD’s anger come upon you. 3 Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’s anger.

(2.) 1st Peter 2: 1-3, KJV: 1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, 2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. 4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, 5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

(3.) 1st Peter 2: 19-25, KJV: 19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. 20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. 21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: 22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: 23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: 24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) Romans 13: 1-8, KJV: 1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. 5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. 6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God’s ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. 7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. 8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Faith, holiness and salvation in the Advent of Jesus Christ come into view, today.  A writer at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Ruth” (Level 7 with 90,913 points, a member since December 04, 2010) posted the following:

What does that mean to you, without holiness no one will see the Lord?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:  That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;  And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;  And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.  Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour:  for we are members one of another.  Be ye angry, and sin not:  let not the sun go down upon your wrath:  Neither give place to the devil.  (Ephesians 4:  21-27, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  To Keep It Holy (02/23/2014); 7 “Godly” Sins? (02/24/2014); Able to Become Gods? (01/11/2014); Why Christians Pray for Others (01/12/2014); When Jesus Comes Back? (04/19/2013); What’s The Way Out? (04/20/2013)

“Ruth”, holiness is a substance that exists only as divine spirit; and is itself only holiness.  Holiness is an aspect of the full divine makeup; and must be considered as independent, yet, inseparable from the other features that distinguish Deity (e.g., faith, longsuffering, love, person, truth, wisdom, wrath against sin).  Holiness may be imparted to believers in Jesus Christ through the various experiences of divine rebirth that include baptism, chastisement, judgment, and suffering.  Here are a few points now being shared among Christian believers that may grant you some insight:

(1.)  Hebrews 11:  6, King James Version (KJV):  6 But without faith it is impossible to please him:  for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

(2.)  Matthew 5:  8-10, KJV:  8 Blessed are the pure in heart:  for they shall see God.  9 Blessed are the peacemakers:  for they shall be called the children of God.  10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake:  for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

(3.)  Hebrews 12:  14-15, KJV:  14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:  15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

(4.)  1st Chronicles 16:  28-30, KJV:  28 Give unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.  29 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name:  bring an offering, and come before him:  worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.  30 Fear before him, all the earth:  the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.

(5.)  Revelation 15:  4, KJV:  4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy:  for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

(6.)  Hebrews 12:  7-10, KJV:  7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?  8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.  9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence:  shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?  10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

There is far more to be considered, correctly understood, and taken into ones own spirit.  (For example, (7.)  1st Thessalonians 4:  7, KJV:  7 For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.  8 He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith, sacred knowledge, and spiritual maturity.
