Today, Scripture points are shared on good works by believers, and operations by divinity that establish salvation.  For those accepting Christ within the kingdom of GOD some attitudes behavior, and conduct are strictly forbidden, and totally unacceptable.  Yet, many claiming to be saved persons seem to say and do the very same things done by liars, thieves, the wicked, and those outside of Christ.  In part, this is because once “born again” through water baptism, believers may only gradually “grow up again” to be given the gifts from the Spirit of GOD required before they are fully equipped to serve and share as mature examples to others.  Thus, in a sense, the good deeds and works are performed by GOD through the believer as a divine instrument and tool, not by the believer as one independent, separate, and “out on their own.”  Consider the Scriptures that follow, and the statements below:

Micah 6:  7-9, King James Version (KJV):  7 Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?  8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?  9 The LORD’s voice crieth unto the city, and the man of wisdom shall see thy name:  hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it.

John 14:  9-11, KJV:  9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?  10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself:  but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.  11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me:  or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

John 14:  22-26, KJV:  22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?  23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words:  and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.  24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings:  and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.  25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.  26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Titus 3:  8, KJV:  8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

1st Peter 2:  15-16, KJV:  15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:  16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.

We do good deeds not to earn our salvation. Salvation is free gift of God thru Jesus. Why do Christians do good deeds?

n the year 1971, during our liberation war, I went to India with my family as a refugee. We were at the refugee camp. Day after day I use to see the Christians from different charity organizations serving the destitute people in the refugee camp. I was very much impressed by their dedication, their love for the people. I befriended some of them. One day one of the members of the Christian Medical team told me that because they were saved by the grace of God that’s why they were doing good works. They were doing good works not to earn salvation. Their God is the God of love and His love was manifested in the person of Jesus. The man further added that Jesus said, “love your neighbor as you love yourself,” and this teaching of Jesus had led them to serve all mankind, no matter what caste or religion. This idea changed my total understanding about God and His personality. It was the first time I heard about Jesus.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,  Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,  Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like:  of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,  Meekness, temperance:  against such there is no law.  And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.  Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.  (Galatians 5:  19-26, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  The Great Commission Obeyed? (01/12/2016); Repentance and New Life? (12/30/2015); By More Than Believing (12/04/2015); Saved by Faith and Works? (09/15/2015); Good Intentions? (07/26/2014); The Bible is All About GOD? (07/27/2014); Order My Steps (10/26/2013)

“truth”, even as a follower of Jesus Christ, I can not save you; however, I can share with you the divine gifts, sacred knowledge, testaments, and testimonies that are being shared with me.  Only divinity can complete the full set of sacred operations that establish a person as having salvation from sin.  Included are appearing upon the earth using the form of flesh and “person” (we say, incarnation); atonement; hearing confession; forgiveness; judgment; rebirth through water baptism (i.e., death of ones inborn spirit, regeneration having spirit substance from the makeup of Deity); enabling and performing repentance; perfection, (the condition of full immortality, spiritual purity, and stability) and sanctification (becoming set apart for exclusive service to GOD).  Disciples and followers of Jesus are recruited to be a clear example to others as vessels of divine Spirit, share a specific message, and live a peculiar lifestyle.  Like a restaurant menu that is preset for the diners, the various acceptable choices, “good deeds,” and works a believer may perform to exist as a companion to the Creator already have been “focused” and trimmed down by GOD.  This permits believers to say, The kingdom of GOD is not the land of “do as you please” so much as “do as pleases GOD.”  Consider the following points using language from the holy writings:

(1.)  Ephesians 2:  8-10, King James Version (KJV):  8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:  9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.  10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

(2.)  Matthew 5:  14-16, KJV:  14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.  15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.  16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

(3.)  2nd Timothy 2:  24-26, KJV:  24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,  25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;  26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

(4.)  1st Corinthians 3:  11-15, KJV:  11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.  12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;  13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest:  for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.  14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.  15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss:  but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

There is far more to be said, understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  2nd Timothy 2:  19-22, KJV:  19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.  20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.  21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.  22 Flee also youthful lusts:  but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

The fall of Adam is in view, today, as having correct knowledge again becomes our focus.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “theresa” (Level 7 with 27,904 points, a member since July 23, 2014) posted the following:

Have you ever consider the writer was not describing gods creation , but a examination of humans and all their qualities abilities and behaviors and simply made judgements about human nature and invented gods as a rubber stamp authority to regulate societies

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:  24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth:  for in these things I delight saith the LORD.  (Jeremiah 9:  23-24, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  For The Sake of The Created (10/11/2015); Known By Divine Revelation (06/16/2015); Knowing? (05/24/2015); Expulsion from Eden (05/05/2014); Blasphemy Against the GODhead (05/06/2014); Mankind Destroyed? (01/24/2014); What Salvation Is (01/25/2014)

“theresa”, most Christian believers are turned to Jesus Christ for correct knowledge and new life.  In the light of social values widely held today, the choice for knowledge made by Adam (GOD’s name for both the male and female) mistakenly is seen as a choice for enlightenment, freedom, and independence.  However, Adam’s choice also was done in ignorance (i.e., denying and refusing to apply information and truth already received), without correct distance (we say, experience, perspective, the Big Picture), and proper focus.  The pair chose to be in-filled with carnal and secular knowledge, pleasure, and sense experience (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting) that would result in their separation from divinity, rather than be filled with revelation and sacred knowledge that would ensure right relationship, genuine reverence, and acceptable worship of Deity.  In addition to receiving knowledge by discovery and learning, it was GOD’s intent that mankind continue to receive knowledge by regular, intimate exchange and interaction with GOD.  When GOD called, neither answered.  Influenced by the serpent, the pair engaged the operations of sin; and the knowledge they received immediately altered their attitudes, behavior, and comprehension.  The aspects of knowledge were introduced that include deceit, error, exaggeration, forgetting, lies, and presumption.  Corruption, decay and rot were begun that resulted in displays of distrust, fear, pride, and shame.  Consider the following points from the holy writings:

(1.)  Romans 1:  18-22, King James Version (KJV):  18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;  19  Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.  20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power, and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:  21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

(2.)  Deuteronomy 8:  2-3, KJV:  And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.  3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.

(3.)  1st Timothy 2:  13-15, KJV:  13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.  14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.  15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  1st Thessalonians 2:  7-12, KJV:  7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work:  only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.  8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:  9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,  10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they loved not the truth, that they might be saved.  11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:  12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, points are shared responding to whether “religion is a choice.”  Correctly understood, believers in Jesus have identity as Christians, as Jews, as the offspring of Abraham, and as the offspring of GOD.  The choice to live as a Christian is a permanent commitment and decision to apply a standard for life provided by GOD, instead of ones own appetite, emotions, intellect and sensations.  Material, physical and social factors are to become increasingly less important than things that are spiritual in nature and substance.  In its beginnings, Christianity was counted as no more than another sect within Judaism like those of Pharisees and Sadducees.  All the apostles of Christ, including Saul of Tarsus, first were born and educated as Jews.  Following the persecutions to destroy Christianity as a dangerous cult, the church would scatter and develop out of public view (we say, underground).  Historically, many Christian believers have promoted a total separation from the Jewish people.  Advancing it as their righteousness, they have accused the Jews of murdering Christ, and so on.  It remains that the operations of GOD are essential to life in the earth.  What we are and possess, today, is in fulfillment of promises made to those who went before us.  Included are Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus, and all those who make commitment to the Savior’s truth.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “morgan”  (Level 1 with 153 points, a member since August 12, 2014) made numerous subliminal attacks by the following post:

My ancestors were jewish, so now my friends say I’m jewish? Isnt religion a choice?

Basically according to my family tree my family was jewish, but does that even make me jewish? Its a religion and if I don’t choose to believe in it, then why am I called a jew?
I actually go to a Christian church…

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,  And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law;  And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,  An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.  Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?  Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?  Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?  For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.  For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law:  but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.  Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?  And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?  For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:  But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.  (Romans 2:  17-29, KJV)

“morgan”, just like your name was not initially your choice, ones inheritance and many life experiences are not a matter of choice.  For Christian believers, there must be a focus upon the choices that have been made by divinity, not merely those of the human race, or ourselves as individuals.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  Many Christian believers also become caught up in the various conflicts and issues for modern living that include ethnicity, nationality, origins, and racism.  Believers are to maintain their focus upon the Gospel, and the work of preparing those in the earth who will be received by Christ at his coming.

(2.)  What and who you are in your relationship with Deity is not established apart from human history and the many earlier covenants established for the benefit and keeping of life upon the earth.  Thus, it is correct to study the sacred knowledge within the holy writings, and to fellowship with others who have make a similar commitment to grow in accordance with divine law, endowments from GOD, eternal promises, and revealed purposes.

(3.)  Correctly acknowledging and valuing the Jewish people is not a simple task.  While chosen of GOD for blessing, they also have been chosen for demonstrations of divine disfavor and wrath against sin.  Also, ancient Israel was created by GOD to serve as a tool in judgment against, first, Egypt, and later seven tribes of the Promised Land who had violated sacred covenant.  With that in view, many fail to grasp that modern Israel continues as a divine tool for peace, and is more than a mere creation of mankind in response to WWII.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually understood.  (For example, (4.)  2nd Timothy 2:  3-4, KJV:  3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.  4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

THE BATTLE AXE:  Life Choices (12/14/2013)—Rightly understood, a believer’s decision to follow Christ as a disciple, and to serve as one who proclaims his teaching through their daily living is a choice to willingly continue within a relationship based upon trust and truth, not upon temporal circumstances, conditions, and events that change over time.  Many would not dare to show certain attitudes and behavior in front of their children, their parents, or their spouse.  However, they fail to realize they often display cheap, crude, offensive, tasteless, and wasteful behavior before GOD.  For this reason, in addition to transgression and violation of divine law, sin must come to be understood as the violation of ones commitment and covenant, of ones conscience, of ones integrity, and of ones own word of promise.  Where you truly believe your conduct and habits are acceptable, and make possible the highest expressions of love and respect to GOD, there is no need for you to seek change.  Where you truly believe you can learn more, do more, share more, seek change and blessing from GOD by increased fellowship with other believers, by prayer for endowments of the Holy Spirit, and by continued study of the holy writings.  (See Job 5:  17-24, 1st Corinthians 11:  32-33, 1st John 3:  19-21 and Romans 14:  22, KJV.)

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.  And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?  I tell you, Nay:  but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.  Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?  I tell you, Nay:  but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.  (Luke 13:  1-5, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  The Power of Death? (10/01/2013); Divine Love Revealed? (10/02/2013); Feeling Loved By GOD? (06/16/2013); To Find A True Christian (06/17/2013); Must We Really Die? (04/02/2013); Life Given by Knowledge (04/03/2013); A Slaughter of Innocents (12/15/2012); Signs of Messianic Belief (12/16/2012)

“Just wondering”, here are a few points of understanding you appear to lack that are widely held among committed Christian believers:

(1.)  The existence of corruption and death among mortal beings do not derive from divine substance, sacred operations, and eternal purpose apart from other truths that proclaim and reveal divine love.  Death can not stop GOD from receiving those children and adults who love him.

(2.)  GOD is a spirit who, in the earth realm, appears in carnal and material person (we say, flesh—through people like me and you) within the created beings and living creatures generated from himself.

(3.)  The operations of nonmaterial, non-spirit sin make it that all life in the earth is “at risk.”  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, of Divine Person, and of all that has been created of GOD.  Yet, sin may dominate awareness and self-will in the living.  Where sin does not appear as contrary and strange to a person’s nature, sin appears as acceptable and normal, and so there is no resistance to sin.

(4.)  The spirit from GOD provided in the ministry of Jesus Christ, establishes a new nature within believers that recognizes and responds to divine love.  GOD must be within you, love must be within us, and others like us, before we can accept the duty and privilege of protecting the innocent, being strong for the poor, being righteous and truthful to all.

There is far more to be said, correctly shared, and spiritually understood.  For example, (5.)  In a sense, until a sinner confesses a need for the permanent changes that GOD provides for their life, the sinner does not exist.  GOD will exist without him, his belief, his respect.  The sinner will not exist as part of the church, the family of GOD, the kingdom of GOD.  Believers in Christ are also the proof for that, and an evidence of sacred things unseen to those who disbelieve.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.  Jesus is coming.

Divine acceptance, our life choices, and who is good among us are topics, today.  Also, there is more on “should I speak”.  A “Yahoo! 7 Answers” (Australia) using the ID “Me” (Level 1 with 142 points, a member since 22 March 2013) posted the following originally asked at Yahoo Answers Canada:

I’m a good Christian man wondering about his life choices. Does God think it’s ok to have?

I’m a good Christian man wondering about his life choices. Does God think it’s ok to have the indulgences we We do? Notflix ands such. Jesus our savior never had tv or even anything like that for himself or others. Sad but necessary for god

THE BATTLE AXE:  Should I Speak? (12/13/2013)—(6.)  More than ones title as bachelor, doctor, laureate, professor, or emeritus, the respect you show to others indicates the respect that you are due.  As young collegians many of us have peculiar experiences of bereavement, failed relationships, growing up, sexual initiation, and life in the harsher aspects of the world.  Given that our standing up to speak at church is a show of love (acting to unselfishly benefit others), and is intended to encourage and strengthen others in their struggles, what we say should focus on how Christ is helping us to continue our spiritual commitment despite challenges, distractions, enticements, and trials.  Our “message” begins and flows forward once we realize that we have overcome, and recognize our triumph and victory through GOD.  To share this, we don’t have to preach an exhaustive sermon.  A little goes a long way.  Your being there with gratitude, humility and respect to offer a smile, a friendly hand shake, or an embrace can be “testimony without words” that all will be able to take away with them.  To avoid speaking of yourself, describe incidents from the lives of Bible figures, and how they were able to endure when swallowed up by the “great fish” of life experience and the World.  Share the single Scripture passage that has most helped you, or that speaks most clearly to the point you want to make.  Proclaim the promises of GOD that may serve as anchors to our highest hopes.  Remember you are not alone in the process of coming to maturity and perfection.  The seeds you sow will only take root and flourish as they convey the divine substance that you, in fact, continue to contain.  GOD will be working with you, and through you; and you need only make a reasonable effort for Christ to use you to demonstrate and manifest his glory.  See 1st Samuel 30:  1-6, 1st John 4:  8-10, 1st Peter 1:  3-16 and 2nd Peter 1:  2-11, King James Version.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth:  and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.  And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell:  but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.  And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods;  For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:  And the LORD drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land:  therefore will we also serve the LORD; for he is our God.  And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD:  for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins.  If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good.  And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will serve the LORD.  And Joshua said unto the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you the LORD, to serve him. And they said, We are witnesses.  Now therefore put away, said he, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto the LORD God of Israel.  And the people said unto Joshua, The LORD our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey.  (Joshua 24:  14-24, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Need for A New Holy Spirit? (06/03/2013); Faith for Facing Tragedy? (06/04/2013); Struggling? (05/11/2013); Through Much Tribulation (05/12/2013); A Golden Ticket? (11/30/2012); And This Was Good News (12/01/2012)

“Me”, there are many things in Christian belief that one must internalize, or take into their inner being as a clear and full aspect of their day to day awareness.  While it is true, believers escape divine condemnation through the provisions of Jesus Christ, when on earth, the Lord endorsed the teachings that declare there is none good but GOD (see Psalm 14:  1-4, Jeremiah 4:  22 and Matthew 19:  16-30, KJV).  Truths describing human nature outside the salvation of GOD, further clarify the need for GOD that resides in created beings and living creatures.  Through Christ, GOD is making permanent changes to, re-creating, and transforming all existence.

Just as our choices should express and demonstrate to others our beliefs and commitments, they will also indicate the level of our certainty, our growth, or our desire for more of GOD and Christ.  Our choices will expose our confusions, our ignorance, what we may be lacking, how much further we may have to go, and what are our weaknesses.  Even so, we submit ourselves to Christ for continuing correction.  Just as Adam had “no say” in his own Creation, we today have little say in Salvation and Judgment.  We operate in trust and with the understanding “GOD is not through with me, yet.”

There is far more to be said, correctly shared, and spiritually understood.  For example, many fail to recognize and properly resist sin, because sin is not material.  Sin has influence upon awareness and self-will that is most visible through behavior and conduct.  Sin appears as an acceptable aspect of ones own makeup, and does not appear contrary to ones normal way of functioning.  It is in this sense that sin “deceives”, and is exalted through aspects of our humanity that are part of what we are from birth to death:  appetite (hunger, thirst, sexual cravings), sensation (hearing, seeing, tasting) and mind (imagination, recall).  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.  Jesus is coming.

Intimate knowledge of GOD among the angels is a topic, today, along with more on relating to GOD, instead of “believing.”  A “Yahoo! Answers UK & Ireland” writer using the ID “Fruit of Life” (Level 4 with 4,973 points, a member since 03 January 2010) posted the following originally asked at Yahoo Answers Canada:

Doesn’t Satan know God better than all of us since they’ve had direct conversations?

Satan also knows exactly what heaven looks like and how to get there (he visited in Job 1:6-12).

What are the implications of this?

THE BATTLE AXE:  Relating to GOD? (11/05/2013)—(5.)  Being certain of salvation comes only by being in right relationship with GOD.  Through operations of the Spirit of GOD, seeds of truth are implanted within followers of Christ that eventually bear fruit as awareness of full acceptance with GOD, confidence that past sins are atoned for and forgiven, conviction that future sins will be removed once confessed and repented of, and a joyful expectation (we say, a sure hope) of glory that is guaranteed of fulfillment.  GOD may now be acknowledged as having human attributes in the person of Jesus Christ.  In addition to capability, essence, presence and inseparable sacred content (e.g., forgiveness, holiness, longsuffering, wisdom, wrath against sin), the make-up of GODhead includes person whereby divinity is approachable for created beings and living creatures.  Love to GOD expressed in acts of faith, obedience, praise, prayer, service and worship are divinely endorsed as acceptable, lawful, and justified. By operations of human self-will, choices and decisions must be made, goals and standards must be pursued, that are to become consistent, firm, and permanent as the living process of those embracing GOD as Christians.  (See Romans 8:  15-17, 1st Corinthians 14:  20, Hebrews 10:  19-27 and 1st John 3:  9-11, KJV.)

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.  And he spake that saying openly.  And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him.  But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan:  for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.  And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.  (Mark 8:  31-34, KJV)

“Fruit of Life”, here are a few points often overlooked until one makes careful study of the Bible:

(1.)  The holy angels were created as spirit beings, and do not have a make-up that is carnal (we say, flesh).  While they are not mortal, they are not immortal either, and their duration is at divine discretion.  While Satan has walked in Eden, the Garden of GOD, has walked “to and fro” throughout the earth, and has appeared before the throne of GOD, he will never set foot within the New Jerusalem (we say, the Holy City, the Bride of Christ).

(2.)  The angels were created as “finished” beings who possessed from their beginnings the entire endowment of capability, knowledge, and skill that they would be called upon to employ throughout their full existence.  Angels do not acquire and internalize fragmented and partial knowledge through experience as do mortals, however, they can apprehend change through patterns of feeling and truth.  Much of what is done that seems to spring from envy or malice against mankind, in fact, is from “blindness,” ignorance and lack of understanding.

(3.)  While they are characterized by endurance and prolonged existence, angels do not have foreknowledge, cannot “tell the future,” and are not omniscient (we say, all-knowing).  Just as mankind, angels, sacred beasts, and other finite creatures that abide in the celestial presence (we say, heaven) also must know GOD through faith, and the limited operations of their own awareness and content.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually understood.  (For example, (4.)  While sin was first realized among the angels through the one known as Satan, sin is not a spirit substance, and was not “created” by GOD.  Sin opposes the continued existence of divinity, lacks dimension and sacred substance, yet, has direction, effect and presence, and may dominate self-will in created beings and living creatures.  For mankind, without such provisions of GOD as divine law and added endowments of spirit from GOD, sin cannot be detected and resisted as contrary to ones own nature.)  I trust this fragment will be useful.  Even so, be it unto you according to your faith.  Jesus is coming.  Grow in grace.

Focus, today, is upon salvation as a matter of relationship with GOD through Jesus Christ, rather than by believing special creeds, doctrines, and teachings.  Also, there is more on rejecting clergy who deny salvation to others.  A “Yahoo! THE BATTLE AXE:  Denying Baptism to Others (11/04/2013)—  (5.)  Choosing to leave ones church, and choosing to remove members of the clergy should be understood as choices to alter divine order; therefore, these are choices that may not be made frivolously or with presumption.  There first should be careful deliberation, consulting of the Scriptures, and much prayer.  Final decisions must be made with an eye to cementing and preserving unity.  For many, participation in the church of Jesus Christ goes forward by commitment to a community of believers (we say, assembly, congregation, household of faith).  Ones church home should be carefully chosen on the basis of such factors as mutual respect, openness of communication, trust, and availability of support from others experiencing the new life relationship with Christ.  As a newly received member of the group, a believer has a peculiar dependence upon those who may provide guidance and insight into their desired spiritual growth, such as the clergy, yet, not exclusive to the clergy.  All members are supplied by GOD, and are called to encourage, protect, rejoice, share with, serve and teach one another.  Just as the pastor must minister to the flock, the congregation is to minister to the pastor.  This is particularly so, when the clergy depart from the standard revealed in Jesus.  To properly address the spectrum of both social and spiritual issues that will come against the church family, clergy must have the full support of one another, and the lay membership.  As if one person, the full church body must meet challenges that range from anxieties about donations and gifts to concerns about racism and sexuality.  The clergy must be armed and shielded with the balance, compassion, and prudence of Christ that resides within committed, stable believers.  See 1st Timothy 5:  1-3, Philippians 2:  1-3 and 1st Peter 5:  2-4, King James Version.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you:  and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:  And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.  (Jeremiah 3:  14-15, KJV)

“Devante Davis”, here are a few points many Christian believers have found useful in continuing to build up their knowledge and understanding of divinity:

(1.)   GOD is a spirit being; and for carnal persons (those in bodies of flesh and bone) the process of correctly dealing with, knowing, and serving GOD is one of correctly discerning (we say, perceiving, recognizing) the spirit content of persons, situations, and things that appear as having existence.

(2.)  Apart from the holy writings and language used by those in regular fellowship as believers, there is no single, clear and precise way to speak of GOD.  (For example, GOD is not a cloud, a fog, a mist, smoke, vapor, or any material and physical object.)  Our human process is to “personify” GOD, and to speak of the Almighty as though he is another created being or living creature.  This also permits us to speak of GOD as capable of intimate relationships.  In the Scriptures, believers speak of GOD using language from social realities of family and marriage as if GOD can be a husband, or a father to those living in the earth.

(3.)  GOD reveals himself—that is, shows himself to be active and present—through various sacred events that display divine intent, cosmic purpose, and sacred substance.  Included are birth, death, forbearance, forgiveness, healing, judgment, love, rebirth, resurrection, and sanctification.  Becoming aware of GOD, and conforming to the truth of Divine Being is a gradual process accomplished through the Holy Spirit, that results in permanent change, and total transformation of awareness and self-will in created beings and living creatures.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually understood.  (For example, (4.)  Sin opposes the continued existence of GOD, of divine law, of divine Creation, and of all the patterns and principles that maintain and uphold life.  The living are to experience GOD as the fundamental awareness of being and existence, and acknowledge GOD through humility, maturity and respect.  Through the operations of GOD in baptism (we say, rebirth from divine DNA), believers in Jesus Christ receive the same spirit content that is the make-up of GOD.  Included are faith, holiness, longsuffering, truthfulness, wisdom and wrath against sin.  Once born again, believers must grow and mature by meeting various life challenges in order to be in the most full and correct relationship to the Creator.)  I trust this fragment will be useful.  Even so, be it unto you according to your faith.  The time of our Savior’s coming is nearer than before.  Grow in grace.
