Partakers of His Holiness

Today, reply is on divine chastisement, respect, and student responses to teacher autonomy and behavior to continue a formal atmosphere for learning. Lessons that fit us for eternal life are acquired on a regular basis through many of our ordinary, daily routines. Even so, Christian teens and young adults may express angry feelings of being unfairly imposed on in school settings, and may mistakenly receive assignments, discipline, practice, and study as detention, penalties, persecution, or punishment. Some are overly quick to complain and label as malicious the necessary requirements for instruction and classroom order. These may even attribute and label confiscation of their Bible, interruption of their time for prayer and praise, and restriction of proselytizing as malicious, and “from the devil.” Discernment of spirit content from GOD must be developed; and it is correct to acknowledge Hebrews 12: 1-8, King James Version (KJV): 1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. 4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. 5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. My teacher took away my Bible?

We were in class today during study hall. The teacher took away a Muslims book and then my Bible. She said no religious books, do it at home. Can I sue this old bat?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; (Philippians 2: 13-15, King James Version, KJV)

Anonymous”, developing and mature Christian believers all have begun as sinners, and as those in need of transformation, guidance, sacred knowledge, and spiritual training (we also say, discipline). Multiple sacred operations must be completed that establish fellowship and joining among those entering covenant relationship with divinity, who eventually will appear as part of a community or household of faith; and there must be divinely provided opportunities and possibilities for discovery, gradual growth, continuous learning, practice, and unselfish service. Believers who are “born again” also must “grow up again” to become mature (balanced; complete; consistent; ripe; stable) for harvest by the Lord at his appearing (Advent; the Rapture; the Second Coming). Through the sacred operations of baptism that depict death of ones inborn spirit and rebirth from divine DNA so to speak, believers receive fresh endowments of life essence (breath; spirit; word) from the makeup of divinity. Included are faith, holiness, impartiality, longsuffering, lovingkindness, meekness, personhood, purity, restraint, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Increasingly, believers show themselves willing to be held accountable and “teachable” during the period for mastering skills and preparing to minister to others. Often for priests and kings, there are unwanted yet unavoidable challenges, duty, hardship, service, and suffering that will draw upon their inseparable deposits of godly strength. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.) Zephaniah 2: 2-3, King James Version (KJV): 2 Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD’s anger come upon you. 3 Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’s anger.

(2.) 1st Peter 2: 1-3, KJV: 1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, 2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. 4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, 5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

(3.) 1st Peter 2: 19-25, KJV: 19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. 20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. 21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: 22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: 23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: 24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) Romans 13: 1-8, KJV: 1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. 5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. 6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God’s ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. 7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. 8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

angels

(This painting suggests the development of dissatisfaction and conspiracy among the angels of heaven that was carried to the earth by the angel who used the form of a flying, talking serpent.)

Today, reply is on the offense(s) committed among the angels that led to sin in the earth, and the origins of transgression (sin) among the many created beings and living creatures fashioned by the Creator.  Along with the accounts of covenant relationships with mankind, the gospel, and other streams of revelation, the holy writings allow Christian believers to discover the origins of opposition to divinity such as deception, disobedience, disbelief, malice, and skepticism.  In the same way sacred correction and discipline provided to mankind through sacred law was challenged, condemned and criticized by finite living creatures on the earth, there were those among the holy angels in heaven who questioned the integrity and righteousness of GOD for devising and imposing divine law and judgment upon themselves.  Annulling eternal law, coveting dominion, and secret  insurrection were disguised, “sugar-coated”, and made to appear as genuine devotion.  A fighter in the “Yahoo! What did Lucifer the angel do that God cast him out of heaven to hell?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And there was war in heaven:  Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.  And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world:  he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.  And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ:  for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.  Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.  (Revelation 12:  7-12, King James Version, KJV)

“?”, here are some points mature Christians willingly consider:

1.  Most Christian believers acknowledge the information provided to mankind that makes immortal, immutable, invisible divinity knowable, known, accessible and approachable (we say, the revelation) includes sacred events before the foundations of heaven and earth (i.e., preexistence), occurrences and patterns on earth that copy those from heaven as well as the operations of sacred spirit contained and embodied in human form.

2.  The language and mind-set that must be used when considering the events of heaven must be sacred knowledge (e.g., divine law; eternal purpose; covenant promises; prophecy) and the full system of things that are spirit in place of secular knowledge and the use of carnal, material, and social things that often results in spiritual confusion.

3.  Because many of us think of defiance of GOD and rebellion as expressions of anger, bitterness, and violence, we often fail to grasp that opposition to GOD may be in quiet forms that include complaining; conspiracy (organized opposition that is hidden or secret); contradiction; encouraging dissatisfaction; being inconsistent (we say, wishy-washy); being indifferent (lacking enthusiasm and zeal); lying; being opinionated; presumption; exaggerated pride (we say, arrogance, haughtiness); refusing correction; self-promotion; being stubborn; and unnatural affection (responding to loved ones and others as idols).

4.  Sacred process includes the accomplishment of divine ends by using agents, messengers, spokespersons, and living vessels of consecrated substance from the makeup of divine fullness (the GODhead; the Trinity; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit).  Included are faith, forbearance, holiness, restraint, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin).  Also, emblems, sacred objects, and holy writings are used to convey consciousness of divine person, presence, and sovereign will without promoting their worship as idols.

Using language from the Bible, the following also is helpful:

(1.)  Numbers 16:  1-3, King James Version (KJV):  1 Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men:  2 And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:  3 And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the Lord is among them:  wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the Lord?

(2.)  Numbers 16:  8-14, KJV:  8 And Moses said unto Korah, Hear, I pray you, ye sons of Levi:  9 Seemeth it but a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the Lord, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them?  10 And he hath brought thee near to him, and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee:  and seek ye the priesthood also?  11 For which cause both thou and all thy company are gathered together against the Lord:  and what is Aaron, that ye murmur against him?  12 And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab:  which said, We will not come up:  13 Is it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us?  14 Moreover thou hast not brought us into a land that floweth with milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards:  wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up.

(3.)  Numbers 28-33, KJV:  28 And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the Lord hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind.  29 If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the Lord hath not sent me.  30 But if the Lord make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the Lord.  31 And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them:  32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.  33 They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them:  and they perished from among the congregation.

(4.)  Luke 14:  16-24, KJV:  16 Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many:  17 And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.  18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.  19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them:  I pray thee have me excused.  20 And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.  21 So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.  22 And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room.  23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.  24 For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  Jude 5-7:  KJV:  5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.  6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.  7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Death-Swallowed-Up.jpg

Today, reply is made on death, the substance of divinity, and Hurricane Harvey.  All divine order proceeds from the existence of divinity.  Continuous and uninterrupted divine order are in place as the context and setting for various objects and events.  Multiple regularities have been described and are identified by mankind as occurring on the basis of natural laws and processes within frameworks of time and space.  Sacred events (we say, miracles), intercession, and the use of divine power are not intended to put an end to, or replace natural law.  Divinity operates with restraint and in accordance with sacred law and standards for spirit substance, rather than the finite standards that emerge from natural law and processes, or those generated by human care and emotion.  Thus, the compassion of GOD in response to human needs and suffering is not the same as the mercy of GOD that can appear during judgment.  Having different meanings, power, and purpose, divine compassion is akin to human emotions and feelings, and like our own, ought not arbitrarily and willfully alter or interrupt human events.  By contrast, mercy pertains to divine events, and is applied when determining outcomes of divine assessments.  Using language from the holy writings, then, the saving of the physical body is called “deliverance” while the saving of the spirit is called “salvation”.  The two may occur at the same time, yet, will continue to be on very different levels.  The fighter at “Yahoo! If Jesus is so great why did he not save the people who died in Houston?

These people died the most horrific death while watching their grandchildren share their tragic and unfortunate fate.

Meanwhile Jesus Christ who loves us all, who watches over us in our time of need, who has all power in the universe, did nothing to prevent the tragedy.

Not a single thing.

Now I’m not trying to insult anyone here, I want to be blunt and point out that this is legitimate observation if you’re a believer or not.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.  And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?  I tell you, Nay:  but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.  Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?  I tell you, Nay:  but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.  (Luke 13:  1-5, King James Version, KJV)

“Pixel”, many who ask your question, or others like it are angry, confused, and hurt such that, when they are given the same answer that provides comfort and encouragement from GOD to those who are believers, they are unable to connect and understand.  This is usually because their purpose in posing the question has been to accuse GOD of cruelty, belittle, disrespect, and insult believers, or demonstrate what they suppose is their own knowledge and superiority.  All that must be put aside, and a thoughtful, adult consideration of mature Christian belief must be taken up.  Consider the following points:

(1.)  Where the “greatness of GOD” could be measured alone in how many babies born, how many college graduates, per capita income (that some call prosperity), or how many successful surgeries there have been, the spirit substance, power, and sovereignty that resides within GOD would not be clearly recognized and properly acknowledged.

(2.)  The relationship of the created to the Creator is that of dependency.  Through the revelations to make divinity knowable, known, and “visible” to created beings and living creatures, mankind have been freely given instruction regarding the origins of mortality as a continuing condition for human existence and life.  Sin that opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and all divine order must come into view.  All things that exist do not have life; and many of the processes for life are mechanical and repetitive (e.g., aging, birth, learning, recovery from sickness).  Even so, acknowledging the natural laws and standards that allow life to continue, the living do have some measure of control to determine the extent of their own mortal lives.

(3.)  The true people of GOD, do not complain that they have been challenged by a great storm, that they have lost belongings and property, or that they have lost loved ones now that they knew could otherwise be taken away at any moment.  Believers trust the love of GOD is no less in times of hurt, loss and trouble.  GOD continues as the Supreme Being, and is no less worthy of gratitude, obedience, and respect.  Their understanding includes:  Romans 8:  5-9, King James Version (KJV):  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Christians accept that through the provisions of GOD they can rebuild, recover, and go on to higher heights.  They realize, it is the loss of eternal life, and the final separation from GOD by the second death that is nonnegotiable and irreversible.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

How Christians evaluate and judge the modern world comes into view with the human predicament, today.  It is a sin to despair of salvation.  The casual speaking of condemnation against others, our shared communities, or the many nations does not come to Christian believers as a benefit from Jesus and the cross.  Believers are those who have been taken out (we say, set apart for service to GOD; sanctified) while still upon the earth, and in the world.  Efforts to make changes that benefit oneself and others are not to be condemned, or hysterically forbidden; yet, both complaining (murmuring) and arbitrary, ungodly, and random changes that challenge divine order are described in Scripture as calamity, evil, and foolishness.  Readers are encouraged to consider the attitude and outlook of those chosen and elect as determined by such Bible verses as the following along with the presentation below:

Deuteronomy 28:  45-48, King James Version (KJV):  45 Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:  46 And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever.  47 Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;  48 Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things:  and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.

Isaiah 61:  10-11, KJV:  10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.  11 For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

1st Corinthians 10:  13, KJV:  13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man:  but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Romans 8:  27-29, KJV:  27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.  28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.  29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

John 17:  14-19, KJV:  14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.  15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.  16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.  17 Sanctify them through thy truth:  thy word is truth.  18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.  19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.  And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof:  but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.    (1st John 2:  15-17, KJV)

“Anonymous”, as surely as two men may be in the same conversation, and have two different outlooks on life—have the same job and pay, yet not have the same sense of accomplishment and satisfaction; both be married, yet, not feel the same fulfillment—among Christians (and other believers) there may be deep and continuing differences regarding the quality of life, the closeness of their relationship with GOD, and the meaning and message to be seen in current events.  Even so, for there to be order, peace, security and stability, all are to acknowledge a shared set of proclamations, promises, and prophecies describing the needs of mankind, the provisions from divinity, and the ongoing divine process for salvation, renewal, repentance, and rebirth.  Our different belief systems also generate detailed definitions and practices for valuing one another and the general society.  Not so strangely, many are drawn to systems that emerge through human error or weakness, where foremost in their concept of liberty is the freedom to express anger, bitterness, despair, fear, malice, suspicion, and regret.  They may see themselves powerless and trapped in circumstances and conditions that will only be changed or moved by their own human substance, violence, or will power.  In most instances, believers are sophisticated and intellectual enough to recognize that sacred knowledge and consciousness of things within the realm of spirit, require their careful use of other abilities, approaches, and skills than those merely for expressing confusion, disappointment, distrust and disgust.  Consider again the following from the holy writings:

(1.)  1st Peter 2:  13-17, King James Version (KJV):  13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;  14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.  15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:  16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.  17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.

(2.)  1st Peter 2:  6-10, KJV:  6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious:  and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.  7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious:  but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,  8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient:  whereunto also they were appointed.  9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;  10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God:  which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

(3.)  Titus 2:  11-15, KJV:  11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,  12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;  13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;  14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.  15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

There are many other verses that should be carefully examined, correctly understood, and applied as power against error.  (For example, (4.)  Revelation 21:  7-8, KJV:  7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.  8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:  which is the second death.)  Even so, I trust these fragments will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Seriously???? He knows what breath smells like in the morning after I’ve had a night of heavy smoking and pepperoni pizza and beer and gone to bed without brushing???

He knows what my urine taste like first thing in the morning while I’m still hungover? He knows what my sperm tastes like too???

Seriously??? Omniscience isn’t all its cracked up to be is it?

THE BATTLE AXE:  7 “Godly” Sins (02/24/2014)—(5.)  One of the greatest errors for those outside of the salvation of GOD through Jesus Christ is the notion that Almighty GOD, the Father, has created, and is directly responsible for all things that exist as challenges, harsh conditions, injustice, limits, problems, threats against, and weaknesses in all created beings and living creatures.  Such deny having any accountability, or inborn capacity to correctly exercise their own self-will.  In their view, GOD is at fault, and is to be blamed for not sharing authority, freedom, knowledge, perfection, power, and rule.  Those who insist upon complaining and murmuring against GOD continue on a path marked as “blasphemy,” and stamped as sin that can be regretted in carnal, emotional, and social terms.   However, they render a sinner eternally void of the Holy Spirit from GOD, and thus can have no repentance.  Among angels and among men, there are many who strut in pride thinking they have made them selves exalted and prominent before GOD by the operations of their own will.  Sadly, these show their content and substance to be that worthy of divine condemnation, perdition, and removal from the sacred awareness of all living.  See Job 21:  22, Psalms 75:  6-8, Matthew 7:  21-23, Matthew 18:  7-9, Matthew 12:  31-32, Romans 2:  1-11, Romans 3:  3-8, Colossians 1:  9-23, Hebrews 2:  5-18, James 4:  1-12 and Revelation 21:  7-8, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:  Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.  For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.  For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:  So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth:  it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.  For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace:  the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.  (Isaiah 55:  6-12, KJV)

“Methoozelah”, because you’ve posted many questions of this kind, and demonstrated a desperate need for a godly reply, here are a few points that come from the knowledge and wisdom of GOD that are usually only shared among Christian believers:

(1.)  Carnal Knowledge.  Carnal knowledge is a lower level of awareness that fits to being formed in flesh (saying it another way:  that derives from ones animal nature, and from self-awareness as finite.)  Consciousness of those in flesh is dominated by mechanical and physiological processes (i.e., how the body works) generated through appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, craving for sexual contact), sensation (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching) and emotional or mental functioning (e.g., desire, fantasy, fear, forgetting, imagination, recall, thought).

(2.)  GOD is Spirit.  GOD is a spirit (we may say, divinity) who has put forth diverse created beings and living creatures as well as the environment and material sphere of their existence.  The entire universe is made from substance emanated from divine being as breath and utterance (we say, word).  GOD is eternal and unchanging; therefore, there is no corruption, decay or uncleanness in GOD as appears within angelic beings and mankind through sin.

(3.)  Operations of GOD.  Just as all things that exist have dimension and presence (i.e., are measurable in space), yet do not have life, person, and self-will, all things do not exist as sentient (capable of verbal communication, reason and thought).  Intellect is determined by multiple operations of GOD including birth, death, forgiveness healing, judgment, revelation, and sanctification.  Similarly, it is by sovereign power that GOD continues to exist without material form, yet, is incarnate (in flesh) through Jesus Christ.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.)  The You GOD “Knows”.  GOD only contemplates and dwells upon who we are to be once perfected.  Filth and ugliness are not in the heart and mind of GOD; and there is no continuing divine consciousness of all the guilt and shame that may be rightly ours.  Within the conscience and mind of the living, outside of GOD, are the place for despair that comes by negative feelings and thoughts.  Thus, many of us are walking rubbish bins, containing things cast away and rejected of GOD.  The Book of Life that will be used in final judgment is the primary “memory bank” and record of our actual living attitudes, behavior and conduct; and what is written  there we must give account for and explain.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.  Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.  And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.  (Jeremiah 29:  11-13, KJV)

The covenant of Moses, the new covenant in Jesus Christ, and use of the word “law” are topics, today.  Also, there is more on escape, life and suffering.  The “Yahoo! “The law means so much to me that I want my chosen people to keep it, but…”?

“…One day I will send my son to die so that the gentiles don’t have to do any of it”

Does this sound like something Our God would say?

THE BATTLE AXE:  Can One Escape? (09/18/2013)— (4.)  The living absolutely cannot escape the full range of challenges, disappoints, duties, losses, and triumphs that together are called “the ups and downs of life.”  Because many now rely upon complaining (to get attention; dispel fear; make connection to others, even strangers; or manipulate and have advantage), what many call “sufferings” are merely the normal tasks for life in the earth.  For example, many complain daily against attending school; decease (i.e., completing ones mortality); having to correct their own mistakes; having to manage emotions and feelings; hearing, responding to, and speaking truth; and paying those who provide service, or share their resources.  Believers in Christ accept suffering as a sacred mechanism whereby those in carnal, material and social reality are used to accomplish divine purpose, demonstrate the operations of divine substance, and make visible the active presence of GOD.  (5.)  At Creation, the experience of human life was to be a balanced blend of learning, fellowship, work, and rest.  Acknowledgment of GOD through voluntary praise and worship that would express such inner states as gratitude, joy, love, respect, and trust became mandatory when division and separation increased through sin.  Formative judgment (i.e., assessment and measurement when building, creating and planning) then took on a new character as investigation and scrutiny to detect the presence of divinity, or any hidden material that is not from GOD.  (6.)  Many of the tests and trials mankind now faces are for purposes of edification, instruction, and revelation.  Each person must discover and come to know their own capacity for action, commitment, integrity, strength, and truth for these are the aspects of humanity that must be present for interaction and relationship with the Creator.  Through the ministry of Jesus Christ, believers receive a fresh endowment from the divine person that includes such spirit content as faith, holiness, righteousness, truthfulness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Together, these make it that none appear “empty” before GOD.  See 1st Corinthians 10:  13, Hebrews 2:  1-4 and 1st Peter 4:  12-19, King James Version.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:   For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.  But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident:  for, The just shall live by faith.  And the law is not of faith:  but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.  Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:  That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.  Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man’s covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.  Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made.  He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.  And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.  For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.  Wherefore then serveth the law?  It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.  (Galatians 3:  10-19, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Law and Christian Belief (09/03/2013); A Need to Know? (09/04/2013); The Children, not the Dogs (03/17/2013); Why Jesus Must Be A Jew (03/18/2013); The Benefit of Grace (03/19/2013); On the Messiah (02/19/2012); The First Jews (02/20/2012)

“Following Torah And Messiah”, here are a few points to consider that should be useful to avoid spiritual confusion:

(1.)  The holy writings often use the word “law” speaking strictly about the covenant of Moses.  Similarly, modern speakers say “the “law” referring to the Decalogue, the Ten Commandments.  At other points, the Scriptures speak to the divine law that was in place before Creation, and that may be spoken of as eternal.  There are many uses of “law” regarding the ordinances, outcomes of judgment (we might say, precedents), and statutes instituted for the Jews.

(2.)  Careful study of the Scriptures demand that each appearance of the word “law” be examined for its peculiar application and meaning for the passage wherein it appears.  In New Testament writings, the word “law” may appear within the same paragraph multiple times, and its meaning may be changed from use to use.  For example, see Romans 3:  19-23, King James Version.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually understood.  For example, (3.)  Those who left Egypt with Moses, and stood with him and Aaron at the foot of Mount Sinai hearing the voice of GOD proclaim the covenant and the law, were a “mixed multitude.”  At no time was the law only intended exclusively for the tribes of Jacob.  Repeatedly, the Jews did not fully uphold the law (e.g., failure to expel the seven nations occupying the Promised Land; idolatry through the wives of Solomon; schism and the golden calf of Jeroboam, son of Nebat).  Therefore, many believed the promised administration of the Messiah would end what now is being called “the curse of the law.”  The Gentiles embracing the righteousness of the law in the person of Jesus Christ are being used as a divine device to recover and restore the remnant of Israel.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.  Love has spoken.
