many antichrist already

Today, focus is on language in the Bible that speaks of the Antichrist and the antichrist spirit.  The individual described by several End Time prophesies who is called “Antichrist” is a political figure who will be a counterfeit of the Messiah.  As an ungodly pretender (i.e., one from royal lineage who makes an unlawful claim to royal inheritance), the Antichrist will seek to reign over the earth supported by the Beast, the False Prophet, and the Great Whore.  The “spirit of antichrist” is a condition in the makeup and substance of created beings and living creatures that results from the operations of sin that oppose the continued existence of sacred law, the Creator as Law Giver, and all divine order.  Not all who are sinners, nor all who are wicked will display the antichrist spirit in ways easily discerned, yet, they all will be influenced to receive the mark of the beast, and to obey the Antichrist.  A writer at “Yahoo! Where is the phrase, many anti Christ mentioned in the bible?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.  And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood:  and his name is called The Word of God.  And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.  And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations:  and he shall rule them with a rod of iron:  and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.  And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.  And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;  That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.  And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.  And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.  And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth:  and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.  (Revelation 19:  11-21, King James Version, KJV)

“Wendell”, mature members of the body of Christ (the church) and saints within the kingdom of GOD are being instructed to avoid spiritual confusion and deception that arises by the appearance of “many spirits” operating among us as “antichrists” and the single figure in the prophecies of the Scriptures who is spoken of as “that Wicked” and “the Anti-Christ.”  The sacred process to recognize and respond to spirit content within oneself, events, other people, prophecies, etc., is called “discernment”.  Developing believers are to practice discernment wherein they use their own endowment of spirit imparted from the makeup of divinity as a standard to examine the authenticity and godliness for things offered and shared as being from Jesus Christ and the Father.  Included are faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

The Bible presents many admonitions and warnings to believers on approaching and engaging spirits that are residing in the earth.  Believers receive these teachings as immutable and unchanging (that is, true in the time they were recorded, and still true to this day).  To examine, discern, and correctly acknowledge spirit meanings, quality, and values is not the same as making a divine judgment against another person for sin and ungodliness.  Our finite tools of emotion, intellect, philosophy and science do not fit created beings and living creatures to make the assignments of final judgment, for there are many subtleties (barely visible differences; hidden shifts and changes) that also must be taken into account and weighed.  Discernment should be applied when replying to questions such as those posed here, when sharing godly counsel, and when offering witness and testimony to spread the Gospel.

Many confuse the figures spoken of in prophecy that include Satan, the false prophet, the beast, the Deceiver, and those who fall way (called apostates).  Among both born-again believers and sinners, this confusion has increased widespread defiance, hidden fear, suspicion, and refusal to  cooperate with all authority figures (e.g., clergy, parents, public officials).  Careful, disciplined, and prayerful study are required to truly apprehend this material intended for priests and kings that is some of the most challenging truth from the Scriptures.  Here, casual reading rarely results in discovery, edification, and resources that are useful for ministry to others.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  1st John 2:  18-23, King James Version (KJV):  18 Little children, it is the last time:  and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.  19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us:  but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.  20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.  21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.  22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.  23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father:  [but] he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

(2.)  1st John 4:  1-6, KJV:  1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God:  because many false prophets are gone out into the world.  2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God:  Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:  3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God:  and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.  4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them:   because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.  5 They are of the world:  therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.  6 We are of God:  he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

(3.)  2nd Thessalonians 2:  3-10, KJV:  3 Let no man deceive you by any means:  for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;  4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.  5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?  6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.  7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work:  only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.  8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:  9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,  10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  2nd John 6-8:  KJV:  6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.  7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.  8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, focus is on disbelief and the rejection of Christ as a result from sinners being unable to be aware of their true human nature imparted from GOD.  Those who are deceived complain that salvation from GOD to restore divinity within mankind makes you a misfit, an outcast, and a stranger to others.  In their view, it is unfair that a judgment be carried out to determine the spirit content of all living.  Yet, it must be acknowledged that every person has come forth “in the image of GOD,” however, their displays of the divinely intended human nature can be brief and irregular.  The process of Christian belief, therefore, may be described as one to ensure uninterrupted expression of a character and nature endowed with inseparable aspects from the makeup of divinity.  Included are awe, faith, forbearance, gratitude, holiness, hope, longsuffering, love, meekness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  While the Creator is reconciled to mankind through Jesus Christ, and the transformation of man to exist as an immortal, incorruptible companion of divinity will continue until the Savior returns in glory, GOD remains unwilling to approve and preserve wickedness.  Mankind is to be a manifestation of divine righteousness; and in the same way divine law exposes the true character and presence of sin, so does the imparted Spirit of GOD.  Through the continuing operations of sin, the image of GOD shown by mankind has become defiled, exaggerated and warped with regard to authority, compassion, justice, and violence.  To accomplish the eternal purposes of existence and life, the operations of divine love must continue to oppose deceit, selfishness, and the exalting of flesh to the casting down of Spirit.  The living are granted rebirth and the opportunity to mature as divine offspring and heirs with the Lord; and their inheritance provides correction, guidance and instruction that enables them to detect, expose and resist sin.  The fighter at “Yahoo! The real logic of christianity is the hatred of our own human nature?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him;  If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles.  For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear:  Because thou shalt forget thy misery, and remember it as waters that pass away:  And thine age shall be clearer than the noonday:  thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning.  And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety.  Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; yea, many shall make suit unto thee.  But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope shall be as the giving up of the ghost.  (Job 11:  13-20, King James Version, KJV)

“john”, I would like to share some ideas from Christian belief, here, that may be new to a lot of people.  While mankind has been “made in the image of GOD,” from the beginning, man has been made as a temporal creation intended to exist within a framework of time and space.  Man was made with the intent that he pass through change, discovery, growth and progression.  Man is to exist as a companion to divinity, and must receive a complete and correct revelation of divinity whereby the active presence who is GOD is made knowable, known, accessible, and approachable.

Independence and separation between mankind and the Creator are required for humanity to display authenticity as the handiwork of GOD, and genuine integrity as part of Creation.  Aspects of the living such as consciousness, feeling, mind, and self-will must be able to freely interact with and respond to operations within themselves as well as acknowledge objects, other created beings and living creatures within the spheres of life, and the Creator who is sovereign over all.

Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and all divine order.  That being said, the operations of sin are contrary to human nature, yet, sin may dominate awareness and self-will in the form of appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, sexual cravings), sensation (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching) and emotion/mental functions (e.g., anger, desire, fear, imagination, recall).  The influence and power of sin is so great that countless people have been inclined to think of sin as natural, normal, and a “necessary” part of the human condition.

In the same way, we are cautioned and given instruction to avoid counterfeit money in the market place, mature Christian believers are cautioned to avoid the counterfeits of human nature that are created through sin.  Developing believers are to practice discernment (using their own imparted spirit content from the makeup of GOD as a standard to recognize and respond to the same spirit as it resides within doctrines, events, oneself, other persons, holy writings, godly possibilities, prophecy, etc.).  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible to present the “logic” of divine process that centers in love, not hate:

(1.)  Galatians 5:  16-23, KJV:  16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.  17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh:  and these are contrary the one to the other:  so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.  18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.  19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,  20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,  21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like:  of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.  22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,  23 Meekness, temperance:  against such there is no law.

(2.)  Romans 6:  3-13, KJV:  3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?  4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death:  that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.  5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:  6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.  7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.  8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:  9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.  10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once:  but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.  11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.  12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.  13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin:  but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  1st John 4:  7-11, KJV:  7 Beloved, let us love one another:  for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.  8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.  9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.  10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.  11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

The Son of Man

Today, focus is on the demonstration of perfected humanity that was shared by the GODhead using the device of Incarnation.  As the heir to Adam, created from dust and sacred breath, Jesus appeared on the earth as someone inheriting the human condition that includes appetite, sensation (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching), mortality, and being limited by emotion (e.g., anger, fear, sorrow) and finite human tools of the mind (e.g., “secular knowledge,” carnal reason, logic, philosophy, science).  Jesus was not born having recall of his exalted station within the GODhead, or full knowledge of the promises to Abraham, the covenants of Moses and David, or the role he was to  ultimately fulfill as Messiah, and the one prophesied to die on the cross.  Jesus also encountered evil, and was tested by the Devil in the wilderness.  The things Jesus spoke and performed had to be expressions of his own conviction, discoveries, and faith.  Correctly understood, then, the holy writings only provide descriptions of Jesus Christ on the earth as another man who, through the active presence who is GOD the Father, also fulfills multiple sacred offices (e.g., exorcist, healer, judge, king, prophet, priest, teacher).  What continues to puzzle many believers is that the Lord’s origin has been by operations of the Holy Spirit that are not aspects of Creation, that have not been detailed and revealed to created beings and living creatures, and that speak to the use of form by spirit without corruption, defilement, or profanity.  More than this, many are overwhelmed by the teaching that Jesus became the embodiment of our sin on the cross, faced sacred judgment, and endured divine wrath.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” with the ID “Corvus Blackthorne” (Level 4 with 4,355 points, a member since August 02, 2017) posted the following:

If Jesus was God, why are there multiple instances in which he worships God as a separate entity?

John 17 leaps to mind.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,  Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;  Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:  Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.  (Hebrews 1:  1-4, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  What Would Moses Say? (10/27/2017); The Device of Incarnation (10/18/2017); Making Sense of Preexistence? (10/06/2017); The Word of GOD (09/05/2017); Conforming to Divine Standards (06/18/2017); A Species of Animal? (01/31/2017); Word, Son, and Christ? (08/24/2016)

“Corvus Blackthorne,” looking upon Christ we are to see a man within a process of GOD, not a god in a process of men.  Jesus Christ appeared on the earth to carry out and fulfill, multiple divine, eternal purposes.  In addition to exposing the operations of sin as a personification of sacred law, Christ would embody the fullness of divinity (we say, the GODhead, Father, Son and Holy Spirit).  The Word (breath, life essence, spirit, utterance) appearing embodied in flesh and blood as a son of Adam would continue and complete divine revelation of the character, makeup, and substance of divinity using praise, prayer, proclamation, promise, prophecy, and rebirth to establish among mankind the same oneness without sameness that exists within the GODhead.

Even though the witness of Adam and many of the Patriarchs was available on the earth for nearly one thousand years, and the duties of sacred priesthood were being performed for atonement, expiation, and remission of sin, it was still required that Jesus be sent to demonstrate perfected humanity.  While his conception was through the authority and power of GOD, his development, birth, growth to manhood, his entry into ministry, and his dying on the cross all were required to acknowledge and respond to cycles and patterns of natural law, earthly Creation, and human affairs.

Christian believers are cautioned to discern and understand that, where  Jesus appears to have been gifted with special abilities and powers, that has more to do with the operations of imparted Spirit from GOD than his identity in the Heaven as Son of the Highest.  Thus, in the same way we as sinners must undergo permanent change by the Holy Spirit through baptism and receive a fresh endowment of the inseparable aspects of the divine makeup (e.g., faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, wrath against sin), the Savior also had to age, acquire sacred knowledge (not merely secular knowledge), communicate through prayer, and be both an instrument to bring about, and an anointed/sworn witness to sacred events (we say, miracles).  In the same way the Lord’s body became tired and weary, and he needed separation from the crowds for rest and refreshing, he also needed renewal to continue against the many questions, thrusts, and streams of spiritual confusion.

As the Second Adam, Jesus received a greater endowment of the imparted Spirit.  There are times in the Scriptures we see only his humanity that includes times when we do not have full knowledge, are uncertain, or seek a different path than the one commanded.  Even so, Jesus is father to a new creation, and through the holy writings and his imparted Spirit, the divine offspring are receiving instruction and nourishment to become ripe (mature) for harvest at his appearing (we say, the Advent, the Rapture, the Second Coming).  The ongoing transformation to exist as companions to immortal, incorruptible divinity that was begun following the fall of Adam and Eve will be completed “in the twinkling of an eye;” and the believers will become perfected before their Maker.  Consider again the following from the Bible:

(1.)  John 1:  11-17, King James Version (KJV):  11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.  12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:  13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.  14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.  15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me:  for he was before me.  16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.  17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

(2.)  Galatians 4:  4-7, KJV:  4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,  5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.  6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.  7  Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

(3.)  John 11:  41-45, KJV:  41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.  42 And I knew that thou hearest me always:  but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.  43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.  44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes:  and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.  45 Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.

(4.)  John 14:  10-11, KJV:  10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself:  but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.  11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me:  or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Fall of the Spirit

THE FALL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT ON THE HOUSEHOLD OF CORNELIUS

Today, reply is on whether water baptism and the falling of the Holy Spirit both are needed for a sinner to be saved.  Water baptism, preaching the Gospel, repentance, and other “good works” serve as visible actions and events that  crystallize and focus the operations of spirit content from the makeup of GOD that must reside within a new believer.  As vessels of divine spirit content, developing believers should demonstrate and display sacred knowledge, divine inheritance, eternal purposes, and personal relationship as joint-heirs with Jesus Christ and the sons and daughters of the Creator.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “GRANNY NORINE” (Level 1 with 56 points, a member since May 16, 2014) posted the following:

Why Did “The Holy Spirit [Just] Fell On Them As Peter Began To Speak” (Acts 11:15-16) IF Water Baptism SAVES?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:  it is the gift of God:  Not of works, lest any man should boast.  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.  (Ephesians 2:  8-10, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Sacred Baptism, Divine Resurrection? (09/14/2017); Holy Fire From GOD? (04/27/2017); Receiving The Holy Spirit (12/08/2016); Cornelius, and Prayer By Sinners? (03/09/2015); The Fire From GOD? (06/22/2014); Origin of Baptism? (06/22/2013); Money-changers in The Temple? (06/23/2013)

“GRANNY NORINE,” despite that their properties seem to make them opposites, emblems of both fire and water are used to convey understanding of our salvation.  The present salvation is conditional and temporal (i.e., it will last only so long as certain criteria are correctly met), and requires the further fulfillment of multiple promises, prophecies, and sacred operations.  Included are resurrection of the dead, Advent (we also say, his appearing, the harvest, the Rapture, the Second Coming), the completion of mortality among the living, the conclusion of final judgment, and the total elimination of death and sin using the Lake of Fire.

Simply “believing” can be discerned as an emotional and intellectual act that of itself has no saving power, and is vain (i.e., lacks the inseparable spirit content imparted from the makeup of divinity such as faith, holiness, longsuffering, wrath against sin).  Thus, separated from the full doctrine and sacred context for meaning and value, there is continuing error when reading the Scriptures to say that baptism and believing are enough to establish a sinner in new life.  Within the context of sacred doctrine through Jesus Christ, “believing” has been given a new definition, and we must be careful to “rightly divide” (i.e., correctly acknowledge its new expression and focus).

Questions about the correct order and sequence for receiving water baptism, gifts for ministry of the Gospel, and the endowments of the Holy Spirit that permanently are to indwell the believer have continued since the days of the early church.  Where baptism may be understood as a ceremony for spiritual cleansing and renewal, it is yet an act of choice and human will.  The appearing and works by the Holy Spirit should be acknowledged as entirely on the basis of sovereign will, and determinations that result through divine process.  Thus, before anyone was baptized, and just as the apostle who had been summoned began to preach his sermon, Cornelius, a non-Jew, with his family, friends, and entire household were baptized with fire.  The attendance of Peter in the home of Cornelius was not to bring or deliver the Spirit to his household so much as to witness and authenticate their experience was the same as what occurred on Pentecost.

Salvation is not a “one-time” event, and must unfold for a believer through revelation that includes discovery, gradual growth, learning, maturing, and undergoing permanent change.  Baptism also signals a joint work of flesh and divinity wherein a sinner’s inborn spirit undergoes death, burial, and resurrection as a seed and offspring of GOD.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  Romans 6:  3-7, King James Version (KJV):  3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?  4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death:  that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.  5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:  6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.  7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

(2.)  John 1:  10-14, KJV:  10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.  11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

(3.)  1st Timothy 2:  13-15, KJV:  13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.  14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.  15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

(4.)  Mark 16:  14-17, KJV:  14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.  15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.  17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  Acts 19:  1-7, KJV:  1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,  2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.  3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism.  4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.  5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.  6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.  7 And all the men were about twelve.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, focus is on conditions for a relationship with divinity by promise, rather than by the authority, manufacture, and ownership of GOD.  The existence and continuation of the living are accomplished through multiple divine mechanisms, operations and procedures that are fixed and unchanging.  Included are aspects of the divine makeup as well as aspects of the flesh.  Examples are forbearance, humility, judgment, obedience, the imparting of spirit content from GOD, praise, proclamation, promise, and prophecy.  The Sabbath comes into view as an institution established by GOD for the completion and enrichment of Creation, and is a divine tool (we say, sign) that authenticates covenant, divine law, and sacred practice.  The Sabbath does not interrupt or suspend the frameworks of time and space, and does not accomplish the godly purposes found with death and sleep.  Even so, the Sabbath appears as a consciousness that is continuous and ever-present through the devices of family lineage and inheritance.  The Sabbath fosters sacred fellowship, promotes acquisition of sacred knowledge, and serves as a signature and mark of divine completion, fulfillment, possession, remembrance, refreshing, renewal, and rest.  The writer at “Yahoo! How do you explain exodus 31:12-18?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,  Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep:  for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.  Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you:  every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death:  for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.  Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD:  whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.  Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.  It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever:  for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.  And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.  (Exodus 31:  12-18, King James Version, KJV)

“Umeka”, the verses you ask about proclaim the terms for a perpetual and unbreakable covenant relationship with GOD.  When the Patriarch Jacob ran from home to escape the anger of his brother Esau, whom he had cheated out of his birthright and the blessing of family inheritance from GOD,   Jacob traveled back to the birthplace and home of his mother to hide there.  Overnight, as he was sleeping with his head on a stone used for a pillow, he had a prophetic dream where he saw angels going up and down a ladder.  When he awakened he was terrified that he had stumbled into a holy place.   He offered a prayer to “the God of his father, Isaac (also the God of Abraham), saying in effect, “if you save my life, protect me, and help me to return home as a success, I will accept you as my GOD the same way they did.”  In this sense, Jacob was like many of us, who have grown up around the things from GOD handed down since Adam, and was receiving the blessing of those having a divine priesthood as their family inheritance, yet, he did not seek his own (nor we our own) relationship with GOD until there was a crisis, and a need for immediate deliverance and rescue from danger.

In this, Moses was like Jacob:  Moses approached the burning bush from curiosity, not belief and faith.  The Egyptian people belonged to their king after selling their land, their livestock, and themselves to Pharaoh to survive a devastating famine.  Pharaoh and the gods of Egypt had no hold on the family of Joseph and those who were the heirs of Abraham and Isaac.  Yet, they continued seeking the benefits of fitting in among the Egyptians.  Moses was sent to the Hebrews to call them out of Egypt; and GOD began to pour out upon the Egyptians his judgments against worship of false gods, idolatry and spiritual confusion.  Those who left Egypt with Moses knew that GOD had blessed Abraham and Jacob, yet, had not begun to proclaim their acceptance of him as their own sovereign GOD.

The things that GOD spoke to Moses in private were openly shared with all the people at Mount Sinai, who fled from the destruction that came upon Pharaoh.  First (see Exodus 20), every man, woman, and even small babies heard the voice of GOD speaking his requirements for covenant relationship.  Later (see Exodus 31), they were given the divine law written with the finger of GOD on tables of stone.  On the day they assembled at Sinai, the people became so afraid, they begged that GOD would never speak to mankind on the earth that way again; and they agreed to answer Moses and the other agents, prophets, and spokespersons (e.g., apostles, judges, kings, their caretakers and parents) he would send.

There is far more that should be considered and properly understood.  (For example, once their crisis and state of emergency are passed, men often become complacent, bold, overly self-reliant, and defiant of GOD.  Perhaps, this is why an irreversible death sentence was placed upon Adam and his offspring that continues within divine law and sacred covenants as sanctions, and the expression of divine wrath against sin.  The covenant of Moses continues the necessary life-and-death urgency experienced in Jacob.  It is written:  Numbers 15:  29-33, King James Version (KJV):  29 Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.  30 But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.  31 Because he hath despised the word of the LORD, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.  32 And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day.  34 And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him.  35 And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death:  all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp.  36 And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses.  33 And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

No-One-Else.jpg

Today, focus is on the proper reading of verses in the Bible that can be read as stating all mankind will be saved.  All have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD.  Following the sin of Adam, GOD began to put forth a broad range of divine provisions to extend eternal life and salvation to mankind.  While many of these involved actors, agencies, and endowments that would not be bestowed upon, or have direct contact with every living individual, they nonetheless were to supply a benefit to everyone who would live on the earth.  Included were adoption of the Spirit, anointing, atonement, baptism, election, Incarnation, prophecy, resurrection from the dead, spokespersons (e.g., priests, judges, kings, apostles), and the body of Christ, the church.  At their creation, the operations of GOD established the integrity of created beings and living creatures by not dominating their awareness and self-will.  Among men, the living are allowed to gradually change, grow, and learn by discovery, risk-taking, and trial-and-error.  Therefore, the full process of salvation is collaborative, corrective, interactive, intimate, progressive, and voluntary.  Through Jesus Christ, forgiveness, reconciliation, mercy, rebirth, and repentance are now available to all.  Even so, because of defiance, ignorance and exaggerated pride, many stubbornly continue iniquity, and remain on the path to perdition and the second death.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using ID “Jon Pike” (Level 6 with 13,049 points, a member since May 31, 2016) posted the following:

Does 1 Timothy 4:10 mean all people are saved whether they believe in the Lord or not?

“We struggle and work hard, because we have placed our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all and especially of those who believe.” (1 Tim. 4:10)

My question is the meaning of “…Savior of all and especially of those who believe.”

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.  For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:  That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.  (Romans 8:  1-9, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Convinced/Convicted? “Jon Pike”, the language of the Bible is best understood when we acknowledge the context and setting for what is written.  What confuses and surprises those who lack sacred knowledge imparted by the Scriptures is that the setting for the terms used within a text is not only the specific verse (line or phrase) and passage (paragraph) where it is found.  The setting also is within the entire group of verses and passages that appear throughout the entire collection of sacred books (i.e., Genesis to Revelation).  The difficulty of the pattern appearing in 1st Timothy for the use of the adjective “all” also appears with the phrases “all men” and “all Israel.”  In some instances “all” will mean everybody or everyone.  In other instances, “all” is to be applied only on condition (i.e., in accordance with previously mentioned events, operations, etc.).  Thus, a remnant and representative portion fulfills the prophecies for all  Israel; and “all” may mean “people from every class, and at all levels” or “all mankind.”  Mature believers trust that they have made the correct application when the balance, consistency, order, and stability in their ongoing sacred knowledge and practice are affirmed, edified, and reinforced.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  1st Timothy 2:  3-5, King James Version (KJV):  3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;  4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.  5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

(2.)  Mark 1:  35-37, KJV:  35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.  36 And Simon and they that were with him followed after him.  37 And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee.

(3.)  Romans 10:  13-17, KJV:  13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?  15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!  16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?  17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

(4.)  Mark 13:  12-13 KJV:  12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.  13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake:  but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

(5.)  John 12:  31-32, KJV:  31 Now is the judgment of this world:  now shall the prince of this world be cast out.  32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

(6.)  Romans 5:  17-19, KJV:  17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)  18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.  19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (7.)  2nd Thessalonians 3:  1-3, KJV:  3 Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:  2 And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men:  for all men have not faith.  3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

ADAM AND EVE CAST OUT OF EDEN

Today, focus is on mankind’s offense against GOD as having been more than an accident, or an “innocent” mistake.  The error by Adam and his mate must be viewed from a comprehensive divine perspective, for it went beyond expressing covetousness, greed, presumption, and lust for “forbidden fruit.”  The disobedience and rejection of divine law committed by the pair was also a confounding of authority and accountability for governing the earth, a denial of divine love, the interruption of operations to fulfill eternal purposes, and the disruption of spiritual order throughout the universe.  One of the fighters at “Yahoo! Answers (India)” using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information appears) posted the following:

So god punished mankind because adam and eve ate his apples?

sounds a little harsh dont you think?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For Adam was first formed, then Eve.  And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.  Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.  (1st Timothy 2:  13-15, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Atonement, Repentance and More (06/06/2017); Law and Divine Process (05/28/2017); Making and Keeping Justice? (05/25/2017); Corruption of Ones Spirit? (05/14/2017); Divine Law Expresses Love (05/10/2017); Held Accountable by GOD? (03/31/2017); On Accepting Divine Judgment (02/26/2017); Our Beginnings Were Perfect? (12/14/2015)

“Anonymous”, you need to see the things about punishment and sin from a “divine point of view.”  Mankind must now respond to conditions established through divine law as sanctions and outcomes for obedience/disobedience.  When speaking of “sin”, men often rely upon formal language that describes transgressions and violations within a broad system of fixed rules that allow “worth” to be assigned and determined, and permits conflicts and disputes to be resolved on the basis of familiar principles, formal standards, and shared values.  However, the operations of sin must be understood within the frameworks for sacred not secular knowledge.  Sin is no common object, does not contain spirit substance from GOD, and does not exist as a creation from divinity.  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and all divine order.  Sin is impersonal, irrational, self-destructive, and unfeeling.  Even so, sin has “direction”, effect, and presence; and sin may dominate awareness and self-will in created beings and living creatures.  Divinity responds to sin as more than simply a negative reaction, or a response to abstract and mechanical elements that appear as normal aspects to living.  Sin is malicious; disrupts regular communion, exchange, and interaction (we say, relationships) between the Creator and the created; and corrupts and defiles the oneness without sameness expressed as eternal purpose.  Thus, sin is also described as betrayal, covenant-breaking, failing to keep ones word, ingratitude, and treachery.  Consider the following:

(1.)  Ephesians 3:  14-19, King James Version (KJV):  14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,  15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,  16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;  17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,  18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;  19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

(2.)  1st Corinthians 15:  20-23, KJV:  20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.  21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.  22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.  23 But every man in his own order:  Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Romans 5:  17-21, KJV:  17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)  18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.  19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.  20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:  21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
