Fall of Man

A depiction showing Adam, Eve, and the Serpent as the prophecy was spoken of mankind’s victory to be achieved through Jesus Christ (see reference below).

Today, reply is on the sacred meaning and value for the account of Adam and Eve eating the forbidden fruit. Some become distracted thinking the holy writings that speak to male and female differences in relationship with GOD are focused on sexual behavior. No complaint appears in Scripture because mankind expresses sexuality; rather, men are charged regarding the righteousness of their service and worship. In the accounts of Creation, both the completeness of divinity and the completeness of mankind come into view. By seeking divine benefit and privilege through a material object and an act of self-will, the life essence (breath; spirit; word) from the makeup of GOD that was deposited within the first pair became defiled. By their actions, Adam and his mate violated the accord with GOD, and rejected their original condition and covering in place as their justification, their relationship with divinity. Thus, it is written: Romans 1: 18-25, King James Version (KJV): 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile is shared) posted the following:

Isn’t it obvious the Adam and Eve story is about sex and not eating a fruit?

It is about having sex.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin: (Isaiah 30: 1, King James Version, KJV)

Anonymous”, many make the mistake that the account of Adam and Eve is intended to condemn sexual intimacy, and are quick to speak of “original sin.” The loss of innocence described is not speaking of ones virginity. True, the account does speak of appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, sexual desire) that is a part of human life from birth to death, and that can not be controlled directly through intellect, logic and reason. Also for those lacking consciousness of things that are sacred, the word “naked” may trigger the false impression that lust and sexual activity are the most important topics, there. Among Christian believers, the account of Adam and Eve reveals sacred knowledge centering on divine law and the operations of divinity, rather than secular knowledge, natural law, and the operations of the flesh. The fall of Adam pertains to multiple sacred themes appropriate for knowing and being in relationship with divinity. Included are the full character, makeup and substance of humanity (mankind); divinity as the origin of knowledge and truth, rather than human actions, emotions, and mind; being held accountable for ones own actions and choices; the transgression of divine law, the frustration of eternal purpose, and the removal of opposition to divine will (we say, the beginnings of sin and its elimination); the corruption of continuing relationship between the Creator and the created; the introduction of death and mortality; the proclamations, promises, and prophecies provided as comfort and encouragement to mankind; and the final transformation of mankind to exist as an immortal, incorruptible companion to GOD. Operations to be carried out by the divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) come into view that include the life, ministry and death of Jesus Christ. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Genesis 3: 1-5, King James Version (KJV): 1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. 7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

2. Genesis 3: 9-15, KJV: 9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? 10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. 11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? 12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. 13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. 14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

3. 1st Timothy 2: 13-15, KJV: 13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. Romans 8: 5-9, KJV: 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, focus is on the process of GOD for accomplishing the complete restoration of the divine gifts of beauty, glory and grace lost by mankind through the Fall of Adam.  The living are no longer adorned with spiritual garments of light, and now must receive a covering of spirit, even the whole armor of GOD.  The patterns and possibilities generated by their own form and substance include influences and forces that may overwhelm awareness and willpower within the living.  Simple nudity should not be an obstacle to correct relationships; however, because nudity may trigger sexual arousal, and quickly become a snare that entangles the imagination, ones inhibitions and the mind, nudity, and most sexual situations and themes are to be regarded as dangerous, unpredictable, and threatening except in controlled settings.  Sexuality for animals and mankind exists as a defining aspect of development and growth, and has place in the life from ones birth to their death.  For mankind, great damage may result where the accountability that appears through love is not present.  Along with fornication, lust and promiscuity, immature and infantile sexuality always result in spiritual confusion and conflicts among godly values.  GOD imparts no “forbidden knowledge;” and that we might be “children of light,” the Creator provides inseparable spirit content from his own makeup, rather than intellect, logic, carnal reason, and secular knowledge.  Included are faith, forbearance, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Do all humans share the forbidden knowledge imparted to Adam and Eve?

If yes, why don’t I understand why being naked is supposed to be shameful? If we don’t have the knowledge they got, why care at all about nakedness? I wear clothes and feel self conscious because I grew up in a society that christians got their bigoted “everyone must think like me” paws on, way before I was born. It’s unfair that I’m programmed with body shaming and self consciousness. Nudists feel free, and i want that, but no, Christians turned the back of my mind against me from birth.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day:  we are not of the night, nor of darkness.  Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.  For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.  But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.  For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,  Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.  (1st Thessalonians 5:  5-10, King James Version, KJV)

“James”, in the same way relationships among family, friends, neighbors and co-workers require creating and maintaining certain conditions, and acknowledging boundaries and limits, mankind’s communication, exchange and interaction with the Creator was always to be through divine order and structure provided by divinity.  In the beginning, man was like the angels of GOD, neither mortal nor immortal.  By disobeying the command of GOD, the duration, spirit content from the makeup of Deity, and countless features of the sphere of life for Adam and Eve would have to be divinely altered.  The error committed by the first pair (the male and female) was more than a matter of their accepting and valuing secular data, and carnal information.  Their desire, thoughts, and acts of self-will interrupted and suspended the intended process of GOD for their acquisition of knowledge, learning, and growth.

Many mature Christian believers accept teachings that explain the first pair were “clothed” and shielded with a covering of divine spirit (some say, light, radiance) that established them as having balance, beauty, dominion, and worth before the host of heaven, and one another.  Through regular contact with GOD, their divine endowments would be continually nourished and replenished.  However, through the operations of sin, the light that was the “mark of GOD” resting upon Adam and Eve would become diminished and extinguished.

Until established in the new creation provided through Jesus Christ, mankind must endure and resolve multiple conflicts within his own makeup that responds both to earthy characteristics and features (we say, the flesh) as well as to aspects of the divine (we say, the Spirit).  Human awareness and self-will may be directed and dominated through appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, cravings for sexual contact), sensation (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching), and through emotion/mental faculties (e.g., anger, fear, imagination, recall).  Sinners who become born again must “grow up again” and become mature by meeting life challenges and “growing pains” on the earth.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  Job 38:  4-11, King James Version (KJV):  4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.  5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?  6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;  7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?  8 Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?  9 When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it,  10 And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors,  11 And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further:  and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?

(2.)   1st John 1:  5-10, KJV:  5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.  6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:  7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.  8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

(3.)  Isaiah 30:  1, KJV:  1 Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Revelation 20:  12-14, KJV:  12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened:  and another book was opened, which is the book of life:  and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.  13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them:  and they were judged every man according to their works.  14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Scripture points on the meaning of a purple cloth draped upon the cross are shared, today.  Divinity appeared incarnate (we say, in flesh, having a mortal body) upon the cross to fulfill prophecy, and promises that GOD would judge and rule over his people chosen from among mankind.  Their transformation to become life companions with divinity (we say, eternal life) has begun through rebirth, and ongoing operations of the Holy Spirit that will be completed as believers are taken up to meet the Savior in the air when Christ appears to reap his harvest from the earth.  Every earthly kingdom grounded in finite and material existence continues to respond to the divine monarchy of Jesus as did Rome, the one-world empire of its day.  Consider again the following Bible verses, and the presentation below:

Psalms 45:  3-7, King James Version (KJV):  3 Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty.  4 And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.  5 Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king’s enemies; whereby the people fall under thee.  6 Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever:  the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.  7 Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness:  therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

John 6:  11-15, KJV:  11 And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.  12 When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.  13 Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.  14 Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.  15 When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.

Matthew 27:  27-31, KJV:  27 Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers.  28 And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.  29 And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand:  and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!  30 And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.  31 And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him.

Revelation 19:  11-16, KJV:  11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.  12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.  13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood:  and his name is called The Word of God.  14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.  15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations:  and he shall rule them with a rod of iron:  and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.  16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

What does the purple cloth on the cross mean?

Every year around Good Friday and Easter I notice purple cloth draped on crosses outside of churches. What is the significance of the cloth and also the purple. I know that around Easter churches sometime perform passion plays. Does the purple denote “passion” or something else? Only genuine, knowledgeable replies, Please.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.  This title then read many of the Jews:  for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city:  and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin.  Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews.  Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.  Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat:  now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.  They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be:  that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.
(John 19:  19-24, KJV)

“Sunny1121”, through operations of the Holy Spirit, blood and truth from the cross are flowing despite time and space to here and now.  Many mature Christian believers accept the cross draped in purple as a further proclamation that, by his crucifixion and resurrection, Jesus is exalted to be ruler over an “everlasting kingdom” from GOD revealed in prophecy through King David, and uncovered to comfort Daniel while Israel was removed from the Promised Land by the Babylonians.  (Prophecy of the kingdom was begun in Moses, where Christ is called “Shiloh” (Peace), and would be carried forward because GOD himself would become acknowledged as Israel’s true king.)  The Lord’s earthly ministry was not intended to see him installed as monarch over Israel in the place of King Herod, who served as a “figure-head” and tool for the government of Rome.  The credentials and genealogy of Jesus also identified the Savior as the lawful heir and Son of David.  That Roman soldiers gambled for his priestly garment while he hung upon the cross is to depict the lowliness of mankind before the Father in heaven.  The divine covering lost by Adam in Eden can only be restored through the operations of GOD that also require atonement and rebirth to establish a covering for sins.  Consider how this is stated in the language of the holy writings:

(1.)  Genesis 49:  10, King James Version (KJV):  10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

(2.)  Psalms 145:  10-13, KJV:  10 All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee.  11 They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;  12 To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.  13 Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.

(3.)  1st Chronicles 29:  10-13, KJV:  10 Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation:  and David said, Blessed be thou, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.  11 Thine, O LORD is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty:  for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.  12 Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.  13 Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.

(4.)  Daniel 7:  13-14, KJV:  13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.  14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him:  his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

There is far more to be said, understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.) John 18:  36-38, KJV:  36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world:  if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews:   but now is my kingdom not from hence.  37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.  38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

New Disclaimer

Scripture points are shared, today, to clarify why Jesus is called “The Lamb of GOD.”  The expression has its origins in the divine response to the operations of sin appearing among the holy angels.  In place of immediate banishment, damnation and punishment, correction, sacrifice, substitution and other sacred operations were introduced including displaying a response to disobedience by Adam that could correctly demonstrate and reveal the true character and nature of divinity as eternal, immortal, incorruptible, righteous, sovereign, and unchanging.  Awareness and self-will in the living were permanently altered by sin, and the pair lost the divine covering and special marks of GOD placed upon them for beauty and protection.  When opposition to the existence of divine law appeared in the earth, GOD began to demonstrate atonement, judgment against sin, cleansing and healing through blood and spirit, release from law and sin by death as well as incarnation and divine presence through priesthood.  Blood, that already was being used to hold and distribute divine breath, life, spirit and word within created beings and living creatures, was chosen as an overlay to restrain, reverse and veil (yet not eliminate) the operations of sin.  The final removal of sin would require the blood, death, and covering of a holy one, the Son of the Highest.  In the meantime, Adam would have benefit by the death of a substitute, an innocent lamb, and the covering or “clothing” for Adam (the single name GOD used for both the male and female) would become the skin (we say, wool, life) from that lamb.  Tekem Stephanie Foyou, who participates with me in THE BIBLE STUDY GROUP (a Public Group on Facebook presently having 19,017 members), posted the following on August 11, 2015 at 4:45pm:

HELLO A QUESTION “WHY IS JESUS CALLED LAMB OF GOD”

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year:  ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:  And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month:  and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.  And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.  And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.  Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof.  And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.  And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste:  it is the LORD’s passover.  For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment:  I am the LORD.  And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are:  and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.  (Exodus 12:  5-13, KJV)

Be encouraged!  Jesus is called “The Lamb of GOD” because he has been provided as a necessary part of the divine solution to preserve mankind upon the earth after death and mortality became a permanent condition for the continued existence of Adam (the male and female).  The sins of Adam—eating from the tree, and hiding from GOD—are both the transgression of sacred law, and the violation of an intimate relationship requiring love, respect and trust.  Mankind was to be restored through discipline, divine love, and a process of sacrifice (i.e., to cheerfully accept loss; to voluntarily endure affliction, hardship and suffering; to unselfishly donate or give what one desires and values most).  This was later made visible  through the Passover sacrifice among the Jews:  deliverance and atonement for sin are shown to require blood be applied from one that is innocent, pure and sinless.  By calling Jesus of Nazareth “the Lamb of GOD,” John the Baptist (the prophet who was son of a Levitical priest, and who was led by the Holy Spirit to serve in the wilderness instead of serving in the Temple at Jerusalem) identified Jesus as the fulfillment of divine promises and prophesies, and proclaimed him to be the divine ruler who was to come described throughout the holy writings as well as the many sacred ceremonies, customs, practices, rituals and traditions.  Here are a few points from the Bible that also should help:

(1.)  Genesis 22:  6-8, King James Version (KJV):  6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.  7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father:  and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood:  but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?  8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering:  so they went both of them together.

(2.)  John 1:  25-31, KJV:  25 And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet?  26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water:  but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;  27 He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe’s latchet I am not worthy to unloose.  28 These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing.  29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.  30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me:  for he was before me.  31 And I knew him not:  but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.

(3.)  John 1:  32-37, KJV:  32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.  33 And I knew him not:  but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.  34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.  35 Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples;  36 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!  37 And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.

There is far more that could be said, and that must be correctly understood and spiritually taken into account.  (For example (4.)  Romans 5:  17-21, KJV:  17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)  18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.  19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.  20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:  21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Nudity, and the human condition as fallen is brought into discussion, again.  The writer “Joe M” at “Yahoo! Answers” posted the following:

If God made us nude, why should we wear clothes except on cold days? God must think we are crazy !?

THE BATTLE AXE:  Appetite (10/14/2010)—While appetite and arousal are undercurrents in all sexual activity, sexual joining (even by holding hands, or a kiss on the cheek–oral sex) is never simply a mechanical, and physical act.  Sexual encounters all are marked by emotional, intellectual, psychological and spiritual elements as well.  The complete mix may include errors in judgment, false expectations, fantasies, and overwhelming visceral stimulation.  From this, we have the idea that sexual activity is complex, dangerous, risky, and unpredictable.  In the same way all men and women are born with the kinesthetic sense we call “a fear of falling,” also all are born with a fear of sexuality.  (In learning to walk we suppress, and never fully overcome or remove the fear of falling.  Rightly understood, we go forward when walking by repeatedly falling, catching ourselves, and rebalancing.  As a result, our maturity is marked by the quickness and smoothness of our movement, and the continuous control of our fear.)  There is actually little human control, and outcomes of full sexual intercourse are never the same twice:  depression, discontent, disease, pain, pregnancy, shared satisfaction.  Knowing sex is unpredictable, mature persons seek to caution, counsel, instruct, and shield those who are ignorant, immature, inexperienced, underdeveloped, and vulnerable.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;  Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.  For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.  For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.  For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;  While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen:  for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.  (2nd  Corinthians 4:  13-18)

Many mature Christian believers have been blessed to receive the following truths:

GOD fully understands and correctly values the devastating blow to mankind and all Creation that has resulted from disobedience, and sin.  The human condition was never intended to display the many consequences of sin that now are customarily seen and experienced.  By eating the forbidden fruit, and transgressing the direct commandment of GOD, the human will introduced unforeseen and unintended elements.  Included were corruption, decay, doubt, fear, forgetting, evasiveness [i.e., seeking to disguise ones feelings and thoughts from close contacts], iniquity [i.e., imbalance, inequality], pain, self-destruction, and shame.  Sin is subject to neither human nor divine will; and just as GOD does not cause or generate sin, GOD is not the source for such products from sin as anger, bereavement, bitterness, depression, despair, insanity, murder, stress, or suicidal tendencies.

The original spiritual endowment for Adam [i.e., the name given by GOD to both the male and female] provided an aura, a light, that served as the outward covering for the pair.  Acceptance, beauty, grace, joy, and love within radiated, and shimmered about the pair through their communion and contact with GOD.  Until the woman was deceived and the male chose to join her by rebellion, there was no need for physical coverings against the climate or weather.  Once their sin came before GOD [i.e., judgment—resolution of conflict; settlement of dispute], re-valuing of human spirit-content and the earth as mankind’s environment became vital to their survival.  Thus, the Scripture teaches GOD cursed the earth “for their sakes,” not the destruction of mankind.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, the sentence of death was passed upon mankind, however, Adam and other of the patriarchs are recorded as having lived for more than nine-hundred fifty years (almost one millennium, a thousand years)!  Without air pollution from automobiles, water pollution from litter and dead batteries, or diet and health issues from pesticides used on fruits and vegetables, the natural course of physical human life still continued to be on a high level.  More than this, at a time when there were no books, broadcast media, and other communications technology, the experiential knowledge of GOD continued on the earth through the device of human vessels [i.e., the priesthood].)   Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
