Today, reply is on whether Christians may unintentionally perform “the works of the devil.” As with the works of men, the works of the devil are to be discerned, recognized and responded to on the basis of their expression of divine purpose, their spirit content, and their appearance as the sovereign will of GOD. Where a sinner has correctly entered into the sacred operations of rebirth, repentance, and their existence as the new creation of Jesus Christ, they will continue as developing believers who must mature (ripen) for harvest by the Lord at his appearing (i.e., the Advent, the Rapture, the Second Coming). Because there must be discovery, gradual growth, learning through trial and error, risk-taking, and many other features that allow for errors and shortcomings, those born again who also must grow-up again are encouraged and shielded through divine gifts and provisions that include comfort, confession, forbearance, forgiveness, healing, praise, prayer, refreshing, rest, and unselfish service. Do you think some Christians inadvertently do the devil’s work?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right. (Proverbs 20: 11, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Opposing The Divine Will (03/30/2018); Avoiding Confusion About Antichrist (11/08/2017); The Servitude of Angels (08/28/2017); About Lucifer in Scripture (02/18/2016); The Main Problem? Hard Times”, many mature Christians would say “the devil’s work” is primarily blasphemy and slander, the acts of speech that attack the character, process, and substance of divinity and of other persons through the use of deception, lies, the unlawful shedding of blood, and the violation of covenant relationship. Because defilement and sin also have their origin within ones own makeup and spirit content, the works of the devil may be mistaken for the works of the flesh. Here are some points to consider that should be shared with sinners who choose to become developing Christian believers:

1. 1st John 3: 7-9, King James Version (KJV): 7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

2. John 8: 38-45, KJV: 38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. 39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham. 40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. 41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. 42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

3. Galatians 5: 16-21, KJV: 16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. Romans 13: 9-10, KJV: 9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

many antichrist already

Today, focus is on language in the Bible that speaks of the Antichrist and the antichrist spirit.  The individual described by several End Time prophesies who is called “Antichrist” is a political figure who will be a counterfeit of the Messiah.  As an ungodly pretender (i.e., one from royal lineage who makes an unlawful claim to royal inheritance), the Antichrist will seek to reign over the earth supported by the Beast, the False Prophet, and the Great Whore.  The “spirit of antichrist” is a condition in the makeup and substance of created beings and living creatures that results from the operations of sin that oppose the continued existence of sacred law, the Creator as Law Giver, and all divine order.  Not all who are sinners, nor all who are wicked will display the antichrist spirit in ways easily discerned, yet, they all will be influenced to receive the mark of the beast, and to obey the Antichrist.  A writer at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Wendell” (Level 1 with 95 points, a member since November 07, 2017) posted the following:

Where is the phrase, many anti Christ mentioned in the bible?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.  And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood:  and his name is called The Word of God.  And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.  And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations:  and he shall rule them with a rod of iron:  and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.  And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.  And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;  That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.  And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.  And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.  And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth:  and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.  (Revelation 19:  11-21, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Detecting Counterfeit Human Nature (11/02/2017); Incarnate, GOD May Die (05/11/2017); About The End Of The World (08/30/2015); Those Having the True Secrets? (04/14/2015); The Endtime and Fear? (01/14/2015); Struggling? (05/11/2013); Through Much Tribulation  (05/12/2013)

“Wendell”, mature members of the body of Christ (the church) and saints within the kingdom of GOD are being instructed to avoid spiritual confusion and deception that arises by the appearance of “many spirits” operating among us as “antichrists” and the single figure in the prophecies of the Scriptures who is spoken of as “that Wicked” and “the Anti-Christ.”  The sacred process to recognize and respond to spirit content within oneself, events, other people, prophecies, etc., is called “discernment”.  Developing believers are to practice discernment wherein they use their own endowment of spirit imparted from the makeup of divinity as a standard to examine the authenticity and godliness for things offered and shared as being from Jesus Christ and the Father.  Included are faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

The Bible presents many admonitions and warnings to believers on approaching and engaging spirits that are residing in the earth.  Believers receive these teachings as immutable and unchanging (that is, true in the time they were recorded, and still true to this day).  To examine, discern, and correctly acknowledge spirit meanings, quality, and values is not the same as making a divine judgment against another person for sin and ungodliness.  Our finite tools of emotion, intellect, philosophy and science do not fit created beings and living creatures to make the assignments of final judgment, for there are many subtleties (barely visible differences; hidden shifts and changes) that also must be taken into account and weighed.  Discernment should be applied when replying to questions such as those posed here, when sharing godly counsel, and when offering witness and testimony to spread the Gospel.

Many confuse the figures spoken of in prophecy that include Satan, the false prophet, the beast, the Deceiver, and those who fall way (called apostates).  Among both born-again believers and sinners, this confusion has increased widespread defiance, hidden fear, suspicion, and refusal to  cooperate with all authority figures (e.g., clergy, parents, public officials).  Careful, disciplined, and prayerful study are required to truly apprehend this material intended for priests and kings that is some of the most challenging truth from the Scriptures.  Here, casual reading rarely results in discovery, edification, and resources that are useful for ministry to others.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  1st John 2:  18-23, King James Version (KJV):  18 Little children, it is the last time:  and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.  19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us:  but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.  20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.  21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.  22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.  23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father:  [but] he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

(2.)  1st John 4:  1-6, KJV:  1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God:  because many false prophets are gone out into the world.  2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God:  Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:  3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God:  and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.  4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them:   because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.  5 They are of the world:  therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.  6 We are of God:  he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

(3.)  2nd Thessalonians 2:  3-10, KJV:  3 Let no man deceive you by any means:  for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;  4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.  5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?  6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.  7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work:  only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.  8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:  9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,  10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  2nd John 6-8:  KJV:  6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.  7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.  8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, Scripture points are shared on correctly recognizing Jesus Christ and the Second Coming.  While there are warnings against being deceived during the end times through false prophets who will appear and by counterfeit appearances of Christ staged by Satan, the Advent (some say, the harvest, the Rapture) will be an instantly recognizable, and unambiguous, sacred event.  A writer at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Miranda” (Level 2 with 443 points, a member since March 31, 2015) posted the following:

Christians! Help! : Second coming of Jesus?

I know that in the end times there will be false profits claiming to be Jesus. I was told that the anyone claiming to be Jesus is false, that you can only see Jesus after death. I’ve tried to look into this, but didn’t find anything. Is this true? How will you be able to distinguish the REAL Jesus from false profits? Scriptures please!

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.  Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:  for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.  O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?  The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.  (1st Corinthians 15:  50-57, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Sacred Events and Subtlety? (11/21/2016); Waiting For His Appearing (02/09/2016); GOD Is A Spirit (12/07/2014); The Mystery of His Appearing (12/08/2014); What To Do At His Coming (07/20/2014); The Return in Glory? (07/04/2013); Desire for Love? (07/05/2013)

“Miranda”, here are some points from the Bible that speak to the sacred event of Christ coming in glory:

(1.)  John 5:  25-29, King James Version (KJV):  25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God:  and they that hear shall live.  26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;  27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.  28 Marvel not at this:  for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,  29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

(2.)  Revelation 1:  7-8, KJV:  7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him:  and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.  8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

(3.)  1st Thessalonians 4:  15-18, KJV:  15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:  and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:  and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Luke 9:  23-26, KJV:  23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.  24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it:  but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.  25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?  26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s, and of the holy angels.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, points are shared on the account in Scripture of Jesus cursing a barren fig tree.  In addition to the operations of divine authority, faith, and sovereign will, the account speaks to false appearances and deception, the readiness of Israel to receive the Messiah at his Advent, the completeness and finality of coming judgment, sin as failure to respond to divine will, and the character of obedience as a demand upon all that exists, not merely all the living.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers (Canada)” using the ID “Violation Nation!!” (Level 5 with 8,513 points, a member since November 08, 2014) posted the following:

Why did the Fig Tree choose to disobey Jesus’ orders? Didn’t the Tree know that Jesus is the son of God?

Trees are not like us; they have no free will to disobey. This tree had no right and deserved the LORD’s punishment.

I believe in this you guys?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.  Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?  Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;  When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?  Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?  When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it,  And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors,  And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further:  and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?  Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;  That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?  (Job 38:  4-13, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Divine not Demonic Process? (11/02/2014); The Barren Tree? (12/06/2013); Fruits From a Barren Tree? (12/07/2013); On Testing GOD (06/20/2013); GOD Grants License? “Violation Nation!!”, there are many points of instruction through the account of the barren fig tree.  Christian believers often acknowledge the account of Jesus cursing the fig tree as being a spiritual object lesson and parable that focuses on Israel’s rejection of Jesus as the one sent to reign as Christ and Messiah.  At the time of the Savior’s birth, multiple prophets and kings already had been sent to prepare the nation as GOD’s covenant partner and instrument to establish a divine ruler on the earth at his coming.  In the incident, Jesus was on his way to the temple, was hungry, and approached the fig tree seeing it from a distance as healthy and sound.  The fig tree appeared abundant and full, yet was barren.  Even so, his expectation of being fed was not grounded in “natural law” and the flesh so much as in his authority as the Son of GOD, the maker and owner of the fig tree, who was requiring there be a response to his sovereign will.  Also, Jesus is the Son of Man correcting the response of the pair in Eden, who were deceived and misled regarding a tree and its fruit.  The recognition of Christ was to be on the basis of containing aspects of the Savior’s inborn Spirit.  Thus, Satan appeared, yet, did not recognize Christ upon the earth as the Son who commanded in heaven, and even offered Jesus an earthly kingdom as a reward for worship.  While the operations of sin see the domination of awareness and self-will in created beings and living creatures, sin is a condition and an effect that goes beyond iniquity and willful disobedience.  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law (i.e., the will of GOD expressed), GOD as the Law Giver, and all Creation that relies on sacred law for divine order.  The fig tree may have had no self-awareness and personal power as an angel or a man, yet, was no less to respond to preeminent divinity.  Sin corrupts (i.e., introduces decay, rot, uncleanness), makes unfit to serve GOD, and removes spiritual purity.  Thus, judgment and the flood of Noah came against the entire earth, not just the people on it; and a final judgment will be followed by the establishment of a new heaven and earth.

There is far more to be said, understood, and spiritually apprehended.  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, Excalibur (the sword of King Arthur), the Sword of Truth, deception, discernment, and judgment are in view.  Before sinners become committed as those who are reborn through Jesus Christ, there are many vain elements (i.e., features lacking sacred substance; things that should not be taken into account) from the flesh and the world that determine what they will focus upon and perceive as causes, explanations, justifications, and priorities among life experiences.  Those who are deceived attribute to the Adversary (Satan) authority, majesty, power and rule over duration, obedience, and worship.  Yet, the Adversary and his followers in heaven are created beings, who are neither mortal nor immortal, and continue having access to divinity, knowledge, and existence only at the discretion and prerogative of GOD.  Eternal life, glory, perfection, and sovereignty over all that exists should be regarded as belonging exclusively to GOD.  Thus, it is written:  James 2:  19, King James Version (KJV):  19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well:  the devils also believe, and tremble.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Anthony” (Level 1 with 102 points, a member since October 14, 2016) posted the following:

Why do people blame God for all of the trouble and deaths that’s going on today I thought it was SATAN?

Isnt it SATAN, I think he should be the one to BLAME!!

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.  Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.  Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so:  thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.  Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.  By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned:  therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God:  and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.  Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness:  I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.  Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.  All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee:  thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.  (Ezekiel 28:  12-19, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:   About Lucifer in Scripture (02/18/2016); The Greatest Weapon? (12/17/2015); Holy Garments? (09/24/2015); Satan Should Stand Trial? (02/16/2014); The Right Place to Get Knowledge? (02/17/2014); Does Satan Know? (11/06/2013); Unguarded Chocolates? (11/07/2013)

“Anthony”, those who blame, condemn, and seek to contend against GOD are in error.  Such persons may have been deceived (we say, manipulated, tricked) by the Adversary; influenced by those who disbelieve (e.g., family, peers, and society); or their awareness and self-will may be dominated by sin.  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and all Creation.  The will of GOD is not subject to sin, therefore, those created beings and living creatures among the angels and mankind who are overthrown by sin must regain the indwelling divine essence (we say, breath, spirit, word, utterance) that permits an eternal existence as a companion to divinity.

Often what people take to be the truth, or trust to be correct regarding divinity is anchored in popular culture, secular knowledge, and their own private expressions of creativity and mind.  Through “baptism” (death of ones inborn spirit, rebirth from divine DNA, so to speak), and various other sacred operations that can be completed only by GOD, sinners become “born again” and must “grow up again.”  Christian believers must acquire sacred knowledge along with new ways of assigning value, displaying and expressing their own spirit content, making choices, resting, speaking, and thinking.

Error and sin express more than simply a person’s likes and dislikes, their personality, or individual qualities and traits.  Aspects of cosmic and transcendent order come into view including unseen elements from ones character, nature, and substance.  While what appears upon the surface truly is an authentic indication of what is beneath, the frameworks of time and space always generate dimensionality so that, what you see now is not always what you get later.  A classic  example of this was shared through the 1981 motion picture, Excalibur, that centered upon King Arthur, who established a tradition of courtliness and knighthood in a territory where idolatry, elements from the Roman Empire, witchcraft, and Christian belief all coexisted in conflict.  Camelot became a model for nations throughout Christendom.  Sir Mordred was the king’s nephew and son; a bitter, impatient crown prince (like Absalom, son of King David) yet heir to the throne; and the king’s greatest enemy (the Black Knight).  Preparing to go into battle, we see the assassin choosing to wear a golden armor, and dressed to kill as “an angel of light.”

MORDRED

Among mature Christian believers the Adversary is acknowledged as one at the level of a servant, while the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are exalted and preeminent.  The Adversary was created to serve the GODhead, even through peculiar roles in the atonement, judgment, redemption and salvation of the entire earth and mankind.

The righteousness of GOD when using deception through chosen ones and false prophets is considered, today.  Like those generations who proclaimed covenant through Moses and Joshua, individuals chosen and appointed as servants to Deity will demonstrate and be held accountable both for blessings and curses.  Divinity does not use deceit, lies, and trickery to attack, disrupt, draw away, manipulate and ruin those in the earth as does the Adversary.  Delusion and lies appear in the Scriptures as divine instruments in judgment used to admonish, clarify possibilities, condemn, correct, and seal.  Consider again 2nd Thessalonians 2:  7-12, King James Version (KJV):  7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work:  only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:  12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.  The fighter at “Yahoo! THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And the messenger that was gone to call Micaiah spake unto him, saying, Behold now, the words of the prophets declare good unto the king with one mouth:  let thy word, I pray thee, be like the word of one of them, and speak that which is good.  And Micaiah said, As the LORD liveth, what the LORD saith unto me, that will I speak.  So he came to the king. And the king said unto him, Micaiah, shall we go against Ramothgilead to battle, or shall we forbear? And he answered him, Go, and prosper:  for the LORD shall deliver it into the hand of the king.  And the king said unto him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou tell me nothing but that which is true in the name of the LORD?  And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a shepherd:  and the LORD said, These have no master:  let them return every man to his house in peace.  And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell thee that he would prophesy no good concerning me, but evil?  And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD:  I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.  And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.  And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him.  And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also:  go forth, and do so.  Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee.  (1st Kings 22:  13-23, KJV)

“Answering”, to me, your question asks how can GOD be righteous on the basis of specific divine deeds and works—not how can he have authority and divine prerogative.  Here are a few points to consider when viewing sacred operations that fulfill eternal purposes:

(1.)  Awareness and self-will in created beings and living creatures often are invisibly dominated and directed by flesh (e.g.,  appetite, sensation, emotional/mental functions) and the secular mind.  Despite that sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and the Creation maintained through law, the living may be controlled by the workings of sin.  Sin has not been created by GOD, yet, sin does not immediately appear as contrary to ones inborn nature, and may be accepted as a genuine and necessary aspect of ones true identity.  The “exceeding sinfulness of sin” remains hidden until peculiar revelations and sacred events from GOD are provided.  Included are comfort, confession, divine law, forgiveness, prophetic demonstrations, rebirth, testimony, the preaching of the cross, and witness from mature believers.

(2.)  There now are multiple divine processes for discovering and exposing hidden contradictions, errors, lapses, and mistakes that strip mankind of sacred power.  The use of human actors and interpersonal exchange are major devices, today, rather than the use of angelic visitation, sacred events (we say, marvels, miracles, wonders), and manifestations of the Holy Spirit through fire and wind.

(3.)  A person’s full realization of divinity as active and present requires consciousness that results from exchanges and interactions among aspects of their own spirit makeup.  Born again believers receive an imparted, indwelling spirit from the makeup of Deity that endows them with such content as faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, wisdom, and  wrath against sin.

(4.)  Like others, Christian believers do not “volunteer” for punishment, scourging, and suffering.  However, where there is mature acceptance of eternal relationship to GOD as demonstrated and provided through Christ, there also must be acceptance that it is only by challenge, hardship and tribulation that many unseen aspects of life experience can become clear and transparent.  Believers accept a role as instruments whereby prosperity and strength from GOD will appear despite the recurring conflicts, disappointments, struggles, and troubles that characterize life upon the earth.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually taken into account.  (For example, (5.)  Throughout the Scriptures, the treatment of false prophets, who are recognized by their presuming upon divinity, is not the same as that for those in continuing relationship who obey, repent, and sorrow for their sins.  Any appearance of someone claiming to be a spokesperson from GOD requires a response by the community of believers to authenticate the message provided.  Thus, the thoughtful response of believers may appear as fasting, prayer, and rededication as well as searching the holy writings.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith and spiritual maturity.

Points are shared, today, commenting upon conflict among believers that results through claims of guidance by angels.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers Canada” using the ID “…..” (Level 2 with 467 points, a member since December 31, 2009) posted the following:

If Jesus talked about the spirit world so much, then why do Christians today call it the devil’s work instead?

Update : I think I have to specify: Whenever someone says they talk to a guiding angel from Heaven, why would a church-goer spill such violent hateful statements against that person, when Jesus said to seek out the spirit world of Heaven (as in 1Hebrews 1:1-14)?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.  If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth:  that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.  Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:  But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.  If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you:  on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.  But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters.  Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.  (1st Peter 4:  10-16, KJV)

“…..”, where your question is intended to gain legitimate responses shared among Christian believers, and is not just to serve as a complaint or observation, here are a few points important for growth within the body:

(1.)  GOD is a spirit who has generated and put forth all created beings and living creatures, the conditions for their duration, and the spheres of life wherein they may exist (e.g., earth, heaven, the universe).  In response to the need among the living for correct information about the active presence, makeup, operations, and substance of divinity (we say, revelation), multiple sacred devices have been employed such as natural events (we say, calamity, catastrophe, plagues), angelic visitations, human spokespersons (we say, prophets), and incarnation (instances where divinity appears having form and flesh).

(2.)  Through the ministry of Jesus Christ, believers are to internalize aspects of the full spirit content that describes divinity.  As vessels of divine matter, believers are to contain such inseparable elements as faith, forgiveness, holiness, divine law, sacred knowledge, promises, prophecy, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Thus, believers embrace the holy writings as a standard to correctly discern and recognize sacred matter, for the Scriptures document covenants and operations of GOD using thousands of lives over the course of thousands of years.

(3.)  From the time of Adam, those in relationship with GOD both in heaven and in the earth must be alert to counterfeits and deceptions regarding divine intent and the sovereign purposes of GOD.  The operations of sin were first realized among the holy angels, and now appear throughout the earth.  Sin opposes the continued existence of limits and restrictions that derive from sacred law (e.g., condemnation by judgment, prohibition (thou shalt not) and punishment by loss of privilege).  More than this, sin opposes the continued existence of the Law Giver, of true worship, and of the divine order throughout the universe founded upon principles of godly law.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  All believers also must live within the confines of a secular world where defilement, hardship, profanity and sin are ever present.  Experiencing the new life provided through Jesus Christ is only accomplished by those who maintain discipline and focus through such features as cleansing, meekness, obedience, prayer, sacred practice (we say, sacraments), and unselfish service.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
