The Greatest of These

Today, the meanings of divine faith, hope and love are considered in the light of the personhood of GOD being spirit substance that also puts forth flesh and blood.  Among Christian believers these three are made visible in lovingkindness, obedience, respect, restraint, and sacrifice (we say, unselfish giving).  One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” forum using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information appears) posted the following:

Christians: What does it mean , that GOD Loves you? and what does that Love do for you?

….and what is hope. isn’t hope just a wish.
…and faith what about faith

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.  Owe no man any thing, but to love one another:  for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.  For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  Love worketh no ill to his neighbour:  therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.  And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep:  for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.  The night is far spent, the day is at hand:  let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.  Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.  But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.  (Romans 13:  7-14, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Through Love Not Persuasion? (01/18/2018); Praying For “More Faith”? (01/12/2018); What Do Christians Expect? (01/09/2018); To Define “Godly Love” (08/20/2017); The Practice of Love (07/27/2017); Divine Law Expresses Love (05/10/2017); Hope That Is True
Saying (02/20/2017); “GOD is Love” (12/18/2016); Herein Is True Love (10/21/2016)

“Anonymous”, the definitions and meanings for “faith”, “hope”, and “love” that are used by Christian believers must be received as elements within a full system and vocabulary of sacred things, and things that pertain to duration, existence, immortality, incorruption, and sovereignty.  Just as more than simply passing, or temporal emotions, feelings and thoughts must come into view, inseparable, unseen aspects of the content and makeup of GOD always must be addressed.  For example, there also are forbearance, holiness, oneness without sameness, eternal purpose, righteousness, truth, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

Deity must provide the elements that allow created beings and living creatures to be in continuous, ongoing communication, exchange, and interaction with themselves (we say, the GODhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit).  Only by the multiple operations of GOD can divinity exist to the living as knowable, known, accessible, and approachable.  Sinners must search for, and discover within their own life experiences the many points of truth that fit together as divine revelation, and sacred knowledge in place of secular knowledge.

There is no single object or thing to completely, correctly describe all that is involved where we speak of faith, hope, and love.  Therefore, throughout the holy writings we find different and new expressions to “approximate” (i.e., get increasingly closer) to the full and most necessary understandings.  For this reason, definitions will vary in agreement with the intent of the statement they appear in; in agreement with the peculiar covenant relationships shared by GOD and those of his creation; in agreement with various sacred operations (e.g., deliverance, judgment, reconciliation, salvation, sanctification); and in agreement with specific proclamation, promises, and prophecies.

Because “love” pertains to the “quality” of ones experience of life, “to love” is to impart, or add dimension (e.g., completeness, depth, richness) and value to another without demanding payment, or return.  Because believers are commanded to be forward-looking, main specific memorials and observances, and prepare to witness fulfillment of all divine utterance, “to hope” is to obey commands to continue in expectation of the word of GOD actually being carried out, performed, and completed by GOD.  Because “faith” is a blending of accountability, commitment, and integrity of ones makeup, “to have faith” is to display balance, maturity, stability, and a similitude of divine immutability (we say, “the image of GOD;” the likeness of the unchanging character and nature of GOD).  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  John 4:  23-24, King James Version (KJV):  23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth:  for the Father seeketh such to worship him.  24 God is a Spirit:  and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

(2.)  Colossians 3:  9-17, KJV:  9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;  10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:  11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free:  but Christ is all, and in all.  12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;  13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any:  even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.  14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.  15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.  16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.  17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, focus is on mathematics as a tool for describing and knowing divinity that can introduce spiritual confusion, and its use be a form of idolatry.  Properly understood, spirit substance is immeasurable.  Because of the many subtleties involved (barely visible differences; hidden shifts in meaning, quality, and value) human attainments are often thought to be manifestations of divine power.  Included are astronomy, history, medicine, science and technology.  Arithmetic and mathematics are closed number systems that only permit the assignment, quantification, and manipulation of discrete values in accordance with fixed patterns and regularities.  While divinity appears as immortal, immutable, incorruptible, and unchanging, Deity also manifests the highest authority, dominion, divine prerogative, and sovereign will that establish autonomy, independence, and sanctification.  GOD is only predictable on the basis of his own acts of revelation, proclamation, promise, and prophecy; and will always remain mystery in multiple aspects of sacred being.  The  fighter at “Yahoo! Answers (Malaysia)” using the ID “ιℓσνєιѕℓαм يا رب العالمين” (Level 2 with 888 points, a member since July 04, 2017) posted the following:

How is the trinity explained via math?

This is Monotheism: 1 God + 0 others = 1 God.

This is the trinity:
1 Father + 1 Son + 1 Spirit = 1 God.
ie, 1+1+1=1.
Simplified 3 =1

Some people say it’s 1x1x1=1.
But that is incorrect because the father/son/holy spirit are not equal.
The son has less power and knowledge than the father, etc. Not equal.
So it would be more like 1.5x1x0.5 =1 which is mathematically not sound.

Your thoughts, Christians?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.  But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit:  for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.  For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.  Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:  for they are foolishness unto him:  neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.  (1st Corinthians 2:  9-14, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Law and Divine Process (05/28/2017); Tools For Knowing Divinity (05/12/2017); Time Is Not A Deity (11/30/2015); The Correct Prescription? (11/19/2015); No Other gods? (08/14/2015); Our Need for a Son (03/04/2013); Unless You Repent (03/05/2013)

“ιℓσνєιѕℓαм يا رب العالمين”, using the finite human measuring tools of arithmetic and mathematics to describe divinity is inappropriate, and borders upon idolatry (attributing celestial authority and power to a man-made object or process).  GOD must be understood as the active presence who has put forth all that exists.  Included are created beings and living creatures as well as their spheres of life and the settings for their activity, duration, and conclusion as a life form.

The full sum of divine substance (i.e., the total makeup of GOD) must be understood as spirit in its character, nature, and substance.  Thus, it is irrelevant and foolish to describe divinity in terms of the measurable dimensions observed for things carnal, material, secular, and social.  We can no more accurately describe GOD using the ideas of amount, size, and weight than we may by using physical senses such as seeing, tasting, and touching with our hands to know roughness, sharpness, and smoothness.

Even so, GOD makes Deity knowable, known, and “approachable” (we say, reveals divinity) using material forms, divine operations, sacred processes, and eternal purposes.  Increasingly, Christian believers are encouraged to apprehend that GOD is a spirit who may appear and exist within events, natural and sacred law, life essence (we also say, breath, word), prophecy, promises, themselves, and throughout the holy writings.  Inseparable aspects of spirit content from the makeup of GOD may be imparted to those who are “born again” such as faith, gratitude, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, meekness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Such persons also must “grow up again” and become mature as vessels of divine spirit living on the earth.

That there can be oneness without sameness among the persons of the GODhead (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) is properly regarded by mature believers as a “sacred mystery” to be acknowledged, yet, not challenged or questioned; for such a truth is grounded on divine prerogative, imperatives of eternal purpose, sacred law, and sovereign will.  Consider the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Deuteronomy 29:  29, King James Version (KJV):  29 The secret things belong unto the LORD our God:  but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

(2.)  1st Corinthians 12:  3, KJV:  3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed:  and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

Today, focus is on judging others and the requirement for Christian believers that they acknowledge only one true GOD.  Given the operations by divinity to release mankind from certain demands of covenant and sacred law that many began to regard as contradictory, destructive, and oppressive, often those lacking faith from the makeup of GOD now mistakenly think that the purpose of salvation through Jesus Christ is the elimination of all divine law, the annulment of sacred judgment, the approval of self-will as the most correct standard for created beings and living creatures, and the accomplishment of their own private prosperity.  When their errors are made known to them, many feel they are being unfairly and unreasonably attacked and condemned.  Thus, mature believers are cautioned and encouraged by such holy writings as 2nd Thessalonians 3:  1-3, King James Version (KJV):  1 Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:  2 And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men:  for all men have not faith.  3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.  The fighter at “Yahoo! 7 Answers (Australia) using the ID “Trouble Maker” (Level 6 with 14,897 points, a member since May 11, 2013) posted the following:

Last time in church the pastor said that “we are worshipping the one true God”?

As if others worshipping a false God? I felt some pain in my heart because of such sectarian attitude, but I guess he was trying to make to congregation happy. What do you think?

THE GOLDEN ARROWS:  Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool:  what house will ye build me? saith the Lord:  or what is the place of my rest?  Hath not my hand made all these things?  Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost:  as your fathers did, so do ye.  Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:  Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.  When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.  But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,  And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.  Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,  And cast him out of the city, and stoned him:  and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man’s feet, whose name was Saul.  And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.  And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.  (Acts 7:  49-60, KJV)

“Trouble Maker”, the goal of most mature Christian believers is to please GOD, who is a spirit, and who requires exclusive devotion (i.e., the acknowledgment of no other gods).  One of the reasons geneticists and those who conduct studies of DNA chains insist upon mathematical precision is that they are dealing with descriptions for objects within our sphere of life that may not include “hands on” and physical measurement.  Much of their work does not include common dimensions (e.g., breadth, depth, height, length, weight); focus will be on calculations, projections, and theoretical measurements, instead.  Similarly, sinners who begin study for their salvation as Christian believers must continuously apply specific tools provided from divinity to acquire fresh spirit content from the makeup of GOD, arrive at sacred knowledge, and to become consistent in responding to sacred practices (we say, sacraments).  Where they understand correctly, it is the goal of every believer is to become one who serves through Jesus Christ, and through whom Christ serves and continues his divine ministry to the hearts, minds, and spirit of others.  Believers, therefore, must operate having certainty, conviction, and mature (some would say, stable or unshakeable) faith.  One’s declaration of faith may have power even when their manner and way of sharing is calm, is quiet, is without fanaticism, and makes no unusual outward display.  The lifestyle and ongoing routine of a believer should always proclaim their faith through actions and words that are plain, unambiguous, and unequivocal.  GOD is no more unrighteous for rejecting sinners than a young woman who refuses to grant a second date to those fellows who, in their time together, were disrespectful, insulting, overeager, and “long in the tooth.”  All who have been created have not been willing to abide as children of GOD.  Consider again how some of these ideas are shared using language from the Bible:

(1.)  Romans 10:  13-17, King James Version (KJV):  13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?  15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!  16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?  17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

(2.)  Ephesians 4:  4-7, KJV:  4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;  5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,  6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.  7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

There is far more to be said, carefully examined, and spiritually apprehended. Today, points, insights and lessons from the cross are shared on how we describe and understand death.  Death is not always bloody, filled with fear, and characterized by physical pain.  The carnal state that men account as death upon the earth is a only a preamble to the second death that endures as a seal upon eternity.  For those who embrace the death of Jesus and his resurrection as their own, eternal life has already begun.  Absence and presence of pain, amounts of blood lost, body counts (we say, death tolls), how directly a cause, outcome or punishment for sin, duration (how long it takes from start to finish), finality, impact, permanence, quantities of courage and fear evoked, and the location or setting of ones death are measurable using finite human senses (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching).  However, there also are aspects of death that can not be measured using the frameworks of space and time.  Rightly understood, the completion of mortality is as much a sacred event as any having strong emotional, mental, political, psychological, and social aspects.  In the same way, the purity or sin in the lives of two different persons can not be known correctly only upon the basis of things external and surface, what they experience in death—even at the same time and place, appearing as a single incident—can not be known to be the same for both deceased.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “OmanLittle” (Level 2 with 622 points, a member since January 13, 2016) posted the following:

Why do people say that Jesus suffered the worst death ever when there were 2 other people on the cross?

I’ve heard of worse stories of death. Just ask Vlad the Impaler. Or victims of the brazen bull in Ancient Greece. Heck, Jesus had it easy in life. If I was born the son of God with people worshiping me 24/7 then I’d find life pretty easy. Christians are so dramatic

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.  Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:  for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.  O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?  The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.  (1st Corinthians 15:  50-58, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  It Takes the Cross (04/22/2016); The Cross a Human Sacrifice? (04/18/2016); A Guarantee of Judgment? (04/15/2016); Life Is In Blood (12/08/2015); More Than Death Needed (12/07/2015); The Return to Dust? (06/14/2015); Gall Refused on the Cross? (03/20/2015); The Agony of Death? (03/22/2015)

“OmarLittle”, trust that, through operations of the Holy Spirit, blood, correction, and truth from the cross are flowing to here and now.  The death of GOD appearing in flesh as Jesus Christ is understood by mature Christian believers as an aspect of the full revelation of divinity whereby Deity must become knowable and known to created beings and living creatures.  Eternal life is GOD’s intent, and both blood and death became necessary as GOD’s tools.  The elements that describe death go beyond physical pain.  There also are emotional, psychological and spiritual agony as well as a form of peace, release, sleep, suffocation, and the separation of flesh and divine Spirit.

The operations of sin oppose the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and all divine order. Sin is no “thing” created by divinity, has no spirit content from the GODhead, and may not be destroyed or eliminated as a common object.  Sin has direction, effect, and “presence”, and may dominate awareness and self-will within the living.  Sin can not influence divine will, thus, through such sacred operations as water baptism (death of ones inner spirit, rebirth having divine spirit content from the makeup of GOD) mankind is transformed to continue as a “new creation of GOD”.  Christian believers become endowed with inseparable aspects of Deity including faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

What we now understand as “death” first appears during the Creation of Adam (while a rib was extracted and fashioned to be a woman); and, there is no indication that death must always be painful, can not be “ended” or reversed, or must occur completely within a moment as opposed to continually over time.  Death is effective as a tool to stop sinners from continuing to sin; however, the consequences of their wicked actions, attitudes, and behavior may go on indefinitely long after they are deceased.  The removal of sin, therefore, requires atonement, forgiveness, judgment, sanctification, and other sacred operations.  The vessels of sin, that have rejected divine mercy, and no longer respond to divine will, finally must be irreversibly destroyed through the Lake of Fire.  Consider again how these ideas are shared using language from the Bible:

(1.)  Romans 5:  8-11, King James Version (KJV):  8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.  10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.  11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

(2.)  1st Corinthians 15:  20-22, KJV:  20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.  21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.  22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

(3.)  Romans 5:  14-17, KJV:  14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.  15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.  16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift:  for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.  17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

There is far more to be said, understood, and spiritually taken in.  (For example, (4.)  Revelation 21:  7-8, KJV:  7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.  8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:  which is the second death.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Scripture points are shared, today, on the  adequacy of language to describe GOD, who is unseen.  Divine spirit does not emit light waves that may stimulate the ocular nerves.  Spirit emanates spirit that can be apprehended by created beings and living creatures only through actual and current states such as awareness, existence, life, active presence, and will.  One of the many fighters at “Yahoo! Why would a Christian claim this when wind, gravity and magnetic fields can be easily measured?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.  So then death worketh in us, but life in you.  We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;  Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.  For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.  For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.  For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;  While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen:  for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.  (2nd Corinthians 4:  11-18, KJV)

“Anonymous”, all human communication regarding the things of divinity is necessarily imperfect, for we seek to use the finite to describe the infinite, the temporal to describe the eternal, the material to describe the immaterial, the profane to describe the consecrated.  Given human consciousness and self-will only respond to the active presence that is divinity who is Spirit through features of our own makeup (e.g., appetite, sensation, mind, spirit) that are carnal, have form and measurable dimensions (e.g., depth, height, length, weight), and are social in their character and nature, “getting to know GOD” requires a radical reconfiguration of our spheres of life, and how we operate within them.  The simple language devices Christians may use (e.g., analogy, metaphor, parables and simile) are intended to support gradual growth and learning.  The awesomeness and power in the process of GOD must be fitted to minds that are at first emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually fragile.  The substance and process of Deity goes far beyond that for those who are created.  Thus, GOD does not need mankind’s acceptance, permission, or understanding to have a “son”, to operate through living relationships, or to appear upon the earth using flesh, person, and Spirit.  This said, GOD does not require the endorsement of covenant partners and those privileged to serve for sacred operations by divinity to establish forgiveness, judgment, salvation, and sanctification.  Consider again how this is stated within the holy writings:

(1.)  John 1:  17-18, King James Version (KJV):  17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.  18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

(2.)  1st Corinthians 2:  9-11, KJV:  9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.  10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit:  for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.  11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

(3.)  1st Corinthians 2:  12-15, KJV:  12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.  13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.  14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:  for they are foolishness unto him:  neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.  15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

There is far more to be said, understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Romans 1:  18-22, KJV:  18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;  19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.  20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:  21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,).  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
