A depiction of Moses allowed to view, yet, not set foot on the land promised to Abraham (see image reference below)

Today, reply is on the humanity of Moses, and his error that resulted in the prophet not being allowed to enter the Promised Land. Moses did not part the Red Sea; that was an act of GOD performed to make visible divine prerogative, eternal purpose, grace, and the sovereign will of GOD. As a prophet and spokesperson sent from GOD, Moses and the tables of stone were to serve as divinely appointed emblems (like a police officer’s badge), credible witnesses to the active presence who is divinity, and enduring tools to discern the workings of GOD’s authority and dominion. Mankind’s anger, bitterness, and rage against one another along with the unwillingness to forgive or be in reconciliation are not the same as divine wrath against sin; and it is not correct that men express the wrath of GOD against sin during human tribunals for judgment. The divine process of assigning value, determining continuity and duration, and providing correction within ongoing relationships demands attention to detail, balance, completeness, impartiality, mercy, and righteousness. The two stone tablets whereon the finger of GOD had recorded the covenant law for Israel were destroyed by Moses to declare the unworthiness of Jacob and the mixed multitude to receive divine gifts as well as to punish Israel, yet, was no more than a another human act of temper, violence, and self-will. It is written: Romans 10: 2-4, King James Version (KJV): 2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. If Moses could part the Red Sea, why couldn’t he make the stone tablets without breaking the first set?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. (John 1: 17, King James Version, KJV)

Anonymous”, because GOD is an immortal, incorruptible, invisible spirit, the Creator has used many different carnal, material and social devices that can be recognized and understood by created beings and living creatures to make divinity knowable, accessible, and approachable. In addition to spirit beings and divine process (e.g., angels, prophetic dreams, visions), GOD has used specially selected and prepared human agents and operations. Included have been Adam, the Patriarchs, judges, kings, priests, and prophets as well as birth, family, government, and inheritance.

Moses was selected to serve as a visible, human spokesperson for unseen divinity. The personhood of Moses was not divine or perfected; however, his character and nature were pliable and responsive to divine fullness (the holy writings say, Moses was meek and teachable above all the men on the earth). Moses received important benefits and instruction that would fit him for leadership of the sons of Jacob while growing up within the household of Pharaoh; however there, Moses also was continually exposed to the arrogance, idolatry, exaggerated pride, and spiritual confusion that dominated the then-known-world through Egypt. During the time of famine, the Egyptian people sold their livestock, their land, and even themselves to Pharaoh. When they became the “private property” of Pharaoh, they also lost all possibility of their own family inheritances.

The authentic humanity of Moses is seen in his responses to the opposition he was shown by those who left Egypt at his urging. His authority and integrity were repeatedly challenged. Moses failed to maintain humility and self-restraint on more than one occasion. When Moses intervened between an Egyptian and a Hebrew in a dispute, the outcome was after the example of Cain, who killed his brother Abel. When commanded to call forth water from a rock, Moses lost his temper, and expressed his anger and disgust with the people. Although he had served GOD for 40 years living among the Hebrews as a nomad, Moses (and more than ½ million others numbered as the army of Israel) would be denied the privilege of setting foot within the land of Canaan. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Numbers 12: 1-9, King James Version (KJV): 1 And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman. 2 And they said, Hath the LORD indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also by us? And the LORD heard it. 3 (Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.) 4 And the LORD spake suddenly unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto Miriam, Come out ye three unto the tabernacle of the congregation. And they three came out. 5 And the LORD came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: and they both came forth. 6 And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. 7 My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house. 8 With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?  9 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against them; and he departed.

2. Numbers 14: 26-31, KJV: 26 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, 27 How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me. 28 Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you: 29 Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward which have murmured against me. 30 Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun. 31 But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised.

3. Numbers 20: 7-12, KJV: 7 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,  8 Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.  9 And Moses took the rod from before the Lord, as he commanded him. 10 And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock? 11 And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also. 12 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.

4. Deuteronomy 32: 48-52, KJV: 48 And the LORD spake unto Moses that selfsame day, saying, 49 Get thee up into this mountain Abarim, unto mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, that is over against Jericho; and behold the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel for a possession: 50 And die in the mount whither thou goest up, and be gathered unto thy people; as Aaron thy brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered unto his people: 51 Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of MeribahKadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel. 52 Yet thou shalt see the land before thee; but thou shalt not go thither unto the land which I give the children of Israel.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 5. James 1: 19-21, KJV: 19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: 20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. 21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

The End Times

Today, reply is on discerning the end times in agreement with sacred knowledge and divine process, rather than in accordance with natural events and human affairs. While Christian believers are recruited to plant, water, and labor for a divine harvest, believers can do nothing to bring about the end so much as they are to appear in judgment as eye-witness to the righteousness of GOD. Believers are not to request displays and interventions by GOD to establish the legitimacy of things already “finished” by having been once and for all divinely proclaimed, promised, and prophesied. Ones certainty, conviction and ability to discern the presence of sacred operations and spirit content from GOD within events, other persons, practices, etc., must derive from faith and other inseparable spirit substance imparted from the makeup of GOD. The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “I trust the count” (Level 7 with 277,497 points, a member since March 02, 2006) posted the following:

Do you believe we’re nearing the end times?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven. He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowering. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times? A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed. (Matthew 16: 1-4, King James Version, KJV)

I trust the count”, currently, many are seeking to identify the end times on the basis of worldly and secular knowledge, or carnal, material, social, and even weather events (e.g., hurricanes, tornadoes, storms), rather than rely on sacred knowledge and spiritual proclamations, promises and prophecies existing among us. Yet, the end times signal upheaval no more than the labor pains that ordinarily accompany birth. The multiple streams of sacred truth that address end times for those on the earth include prophecy, revelation, and visions. The sacred character, process, and substance of these different forms of divine communication result in different levels of awareness, emphasis, and focus on the end times. For many, the holy writings address the resolution of human conflict, the elimination of sin, and the settlement of all disputes among the living. For others issues of apocalypse, final judgment, and eternal life are in view. Still others, acknowledge the fulfillment of eternal purpose wherein the living GOD is exalted and glorified having dominion and sovereignty over all that exists. Where men examine end times events and issues as a matter of their own condemnation and punishment for sin, they tend to become disheartened, fearful, and weak in faith. Where it is understood that divinity receives release from continuing confrontation, controversy, and lingering dissatisfaction from the earlier Creation, awareness will should turn to faith, hope, joy, trust and eternal companionship with immortal, incorruptible divinity. Consider the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Matthew 24: 3-13, King James Version (KJV): 3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? 4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

2. Matthew 24: 21-31, KJV: 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. 23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25 Behold, I have told you before. 26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. 27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. 29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. 2nd Timothy 3: 1-5, KJV: 1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

AN AFTERTHOUGHT: There are multiple meanings in use where Christian believers speak of “the end.” When referring to “end times,” many intend the period leading up to the final completion or fulfillment of prophecies and visions that are recorded in the Bible. Destruction, punishment, the second death, and the termination of duration and existence for the devil, for sin, and for the man-made belief system intended to ensure human survival (we say, the world) also are the focus for many presentations. Christians are cautioned to remember that their salvation begun through repentance and rebirth is an eternal life that is a new creation. When the end of mortality appears, followers of Jesus Christ will be continued through judgment, resurrection, and transformation to exist as life companions to immortal, incorruptible divinity. Nor will there be an end to the immutable, unchanging word of GOD.

Is Anything Too Hard for the Lord

A depiction of Isaiah 35: 1, King James Version (KJV): 1 The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. (see reference below)

Today, reply is on divine possibility, and responses to prayer. GOD has established that many answers to the prayers of created beings and living creatures are properly provided through material, mechanical, and natural processes that are determined by specific laws for recurring patterns, regularities, and sequences. Other responses also may appear that are in accord with challenge, chance, and opportunity. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! How can Christians say that nothing is impossible for God, when there are many things he has not done in spite of prayers?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Anonymous”, nothing is impossible for GOD that continues the things already begun by GOD, or the things in agreement with divine prerogative, sacred law, eternal purposes, and the sovereign will of GOD. Mature Christian believers are to be grounded in the revelation shared by divinity to make Deity knowable, known, accessible, and approachable. The holy writings are respected as an accurate record of divinity appearing on the earth using thousands of events, within thousands of human lives, over the course of thousands of years. In addition to descriptions, examples and models from the past, the Scriptures present divine judgment, promises and prophesies that are still in effect, and are continuing to be fulfilled. Many sacred events are discrete “one time” occurrences that were complete, conclusive, and will never be repeated, yet, are made fresh, ongoing, and present by the operations of imparted spirit from the makeup of GOD. Included are faith, forbearance, holiness, hope, joy, meekness, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Genesis 1: 1-10, King James Version (KJV): 1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. 6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. 7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. 8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. 9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. 10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

2. Numbers 23: 19, KJV: 19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

3. Joel 2: 23-32, KJV: 23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. 24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil. 25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. 26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. 27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed. 28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. 30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. 31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come. 32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. Romans 8: 5-9, KJV: 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

All Things Made

(See reference below)

Today, reply is on the use of human form by divinity as Jesus Christ, on being like Christ, and how divinity met the demands made of men that include being continually aware of Deity, completing mortality (death), and expressing finite self-will. Being a man in flesh, Jesus as the Son of GOD had to display an ongoing relationship with the Father and the Holy Spirit that acknowledged their divinity and glory as eternal, yet, answered his own divine wholeness as from the past, and as yet to come. Jesus would guide the living to abide on the earth in accord with the sovereign will of GOD that was declared before the founding of heaven and earth, and is promised to continue throughout eternal ages. Jesus would demonstrate being an embodiment and vessel of the spirit substance imparted to mankind from the divine fullness. While on the earth, Jesus maintained a godly balance and soundness within his ministry by performing amazing and wondrous works, yet, continuing anchored in dependence, lowliness, and meekness. He did not boast or preach his own feelings and opinions so much as he faithfully reported and witnessed to prophecy and vision, sacred law, mature insight, and the doctrine of the Father. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shown) posted the following:

Romans 5:19 means that it took God Almighty himself to die for humans, right?

Romans 5:19 “For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one man shall many be made righteous.”

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. (2nd Corinthians 5: 14-19, King James Version, KJV)

(11/20/2016); In The Image of Man (05/04/2016)

Anonymous”, GOD is immortal, immutable, and unchanging; GOD will never be subject to death. When divinity (we also say, divine fullness; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) chose to appear among created beings and living creatures on the earth using human form as Jesus Christ, the same finite limits and constricting frameworks that apply to mankind (e.g., aging; appetite; demands from mechanical process and natural law; sensation; time and space) were imposed on the Son of the Highest. Christ was to demonstrate that, through the operations of divine grace, the living may be infused with consciousness of the Holy, eternal purpose, maturity, and perfection. In displaying humanity that was authentic and genuine in every aspect, Jesus also had to endure birth, death, grief, joy, pain, sorrow, and uncertainty. As a man living on the earth Jesus contained the same life essence (breath; spirit; word) that was imparted to Adam and Eve at Creation, rather than the material and seed altered by sin that the pair passed on to their offspring. It was containing inseparable spirit substances from the makeup of the Father that made Jesus different and godly despite his appearing in flesh. Included were faith, holiness, hope of an eternal inheritance and glory, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Jesus was able to heal, perform miracles, explain mysteries, and provide sacred knowledge as an anointed servant and spokesperson from GOD. Sinners who become “born again” must “grow up again” having a fresh endowment of Spirit. It is the imparted Spirit that allows the living to exist as sons and daughters of GOD, joint heirs with Jesus, and the new creation of Christ. Consider the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Philippians 2: 5-11, King James Version (KJV): 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

2. Romans 6: 3-6, KJV: 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

3. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. Hebrews 1: 1-6, KJV: 1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high: 4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. 5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? 6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.) Father Son One

Today, reply speaks to the oneness and sameness of purpose and sacred will residing within the divine Father and the Son. Because Jesus Christ appeared on the earth as both the Son of GOD and the Son of Man, many experience spiritual confusion. The Savior must address multiple aspects of human and sacred relationships with their conflicting demands for autonomy, dependence, durability, infirmity, power, strength, and vulnerability. The divinity of Christ is to become known and revealed through inseparable aspects of spirit content, eternal purpose, and shared sacred operations. Jesus must yet display authentic divinity as one having divine judicial authority to preside over sacred tribunals, provide atonement as a High Priest, and to execute justice by the second death. Even so, the authentic humanity displayed throughout his life, death, resurrection, and ascension will continue by his coronation and his marriage supper as the consecrated Bridegroom. What is the will of the father?

It says in the Bible that only those who do the will of the father shall make it into Heaven.

I am thinking that the will of the father is the will of the son. To follow God is to follow his son Jesus. Am I correct?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. Anonymous”, because the Word was made flesh, and appeared in the earth using the form of a man (Jesus Christ), the integrity of being, the oneness without sameness that is shared among divinity (we also say, the divine fullness; the Godhead; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) and the discrete personhood of the Holy should be less difficult to apprehend than ever before. However, Jesus had to display authentic humanity at every stage of carnal, material and social development; as a result, many of us often fail to properly acknowledge his divine essence as the image of GOD. While we know there are communication, exchange and interaction among the Divine Persons (i.e., multiple relationships) we can not clearly and simply describe the many shifts in accountability, direction, presence, sacred process, and works that also exist. The accord and eternal purpose of Father, Son and Holy Spirit that were manifest in Creation are continued through the shared eternal purpose displayed as judgment, reconciliation, redemption, and salvation. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. John 1: 1-5, King James Version (KJV): 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

2. John 1: 10-14, KJV: 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

3. Colossians 1: 12-20, KJV: 12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. 19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; 20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

4. John 6: 38-40, KJV: 38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. 39 And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 5. 1st John 2: 22-24, KJV: 22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [but] he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. 24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. believe not every spirit

Today, the reply describes the Apostle Simon Peter as a servant of Jesus Christ who performed miracles through the Holy Spirit, yet, was not himself divine. Jesus is recorded as admonishing and warning Peter to be vigilant and walk in faith focused by the Holy Spirit, rather than be centered in things from the Deceiver, or from his own flesh. According to the Bible (thanks, @Cool Dude!) PETER can raise people from the dead. Is Peter divine?

Acts 9:36-42

36 Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.

37 And it came to pass in those days, that she was sick, and died: whom when they had washed, they laid her in an upper chamber.

38 And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him two men, desiring him that he would not delay to come to them.

39 Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.

40 But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations. And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me; That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death. And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me. (1st Luke 22: 28-34, King James Version, KJV)

Princess”, mature Christian believers do not regard Peter as having been an aspect of divine fullness (we say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit). Along with eleven other disciples, Peter was chosen to serve as an apostle of Jesus Christ. All of the apostles received an endowment of spirit substance from the makeup of divinity (we say, the imparted, indwelling Spirit) that included faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. In addition to serving as heralds and spokespersons sent ahead to gather and prepare the congregations who would hear and receive Jesus as an itinerant preacher, the apostles were authorized as agents of the incarnate ministry of Christ who were to perform exorcism, healing, raising the dead, and other sacred events (we say, miracles). Raising the dead on the earth (we also say, restoring the dead to life; reviving the dead) is not the same as resurrection that enables the spirit separated from the body of a deceased person to exist again in flesh so they may appear in judgment as living in the presence of GOD).

Peter and his brother Andrew both had standing as covenant partners and heirs of GOD through their inheritance from the promises to Abraham, Moses, and David. Thus, in accordance with the “law and the prophets” they first received Jesus Christ as a prophet. However, like Jacob, Peter had to endure correction, being humbled by GOD, gradual growth, and the outworking of divine prophecy before he would realize the true substance of his inheritance, and himself to be in a lasting relationship with divinity. On the day of Pentecost, Peter received additional spiritual gifts through the falling of the Holy Spirit that included greater faith, government, insight, meekness, personhood, oneness without sameness, and zeal. Peter and the other apostles became divine instruments ordained with the holy angels to give eyewitness testimony through the judgment of GOD that Jesus Christ was baptized, was transfigured, and is alive following his crucifixion and burial; certify the genuine appearance and falling of (sudden in-filling by) the Holy Spirit; confirm and impart the Holy Spirit by “laying on of hands;” and serve the Risen Lord as bishops and elders of the early church.

Despite that, through operations of the Holy Spirit, Peter was the first to demonstrate indwelling faith as the rock foundation for the church of Jesus, and to correctly proclaim Jesus as Christ and the Son of GOD, Peter is on record as having been seriously censured and rebuked by Jesus. At their parting, in a scene that compares to Moses and Jacob delivering their final words and blessings for Israel, Jesus prophesied regarding both Peter and John. Consider again the following:

1. Matthew 16: 13-23, King James Version (KJV): 13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 20 Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ. 21 From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. 22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. 23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

2. John 21: 12-19, KJV: 12 Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord. 13 Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise. 14 This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead. 15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. 16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. 17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. 18 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdest thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not. 19 This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.

3. 2nd Peter 1: 16-21, KJV: 16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. 17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. 19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. 2nd Corinthians 4: 6-7, KJV: 6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

just live by faith

Today, reply is on the appearance of “faith” as a divine substance and sacred process throughout the holy writings.  The process whereby divinity is made known and revealed to created beings and living creatures is one wherein multiple shifts of ones focus must occur from simple things that conform to material, mechanical, natural, and social laws to things that are completely spiritual in their makeup, purpose, substance, and operation. Sinners who turn to GOD through Jesus Christ must experience renewal of their mind and separation from things earthly to exist and become filled with inseparable aspects of spirit content from the divine fullness (we say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit). Included are faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. A writer in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “ID “GRANNY NORINE” (Level 1 with 5 points, a member since May 16, 2014) posted the following:

Why is there no “faith” spoken of in the OT except “to come” in Deuteronomy 32:20; Habakkuk 2:4?

Never in the Old Testament is the word faith used in reference to Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, the Israelites, Rahab, Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and the prophets. Why?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And without Emunah it is impossible to please Hashem. For it is necessary for the one making a kiruv approach to Hashem to have Emunah in the fact that yesh Elohim (G-d is there), and that Elohim gives sachar (reward) to those who seek him with zerizut. (Yehudim in Moshiach 11: 6, Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB): Copyright © 2002, 2003, 2008, 2010, 2011 by Artists for Israel International)

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11: 6, King James Version, KJV)

GRANNY NORINE” among mature Christian believers, concepts of diffuse sacred substances such as “faith”, “holiness”, “righteousness”, “spirit” and “word” appear throughout the recorded revelation of GOD to created beings and living creatures (we say, the Bible), and is described or spoken of using depictions and language that becomes increasingly crystallized and direct. Keeping it in mind that our focus should be on the “spirit” not the “letter”, you might be able to agree, many today err—like the Pharisees and Sadducees who contended against Jesus by promoting the law without the prophets, promoted disbelief in resurrection of the dead, and even discouraged belief in spirit presence from GOD (e.g., angels; the Shekinah that inhabited the Most Holy Place within the Temple at Jerusalem). Consider again the following that speaks of “faith”:

1. Bereshis 15: 5-7, Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB): 5 And He brought him forth outside, and said, Look now toward Shomayim, and count the kokhavim, if thou be able to number them; and He said unto him, So shall thy zera be. 6 And he believed in Hashem; and He credited [emunah (faith)] to him as tzedakah (righteousness). 7 And He said unto him, I am Hashem Who brought thee out of Ur Kasdim, to give thee ha’aretz hazot to be the yoresh of it. [Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB) Copyright © 2002, 2003, 2008, 2010, 2011 by Artists for Israel International]

Genesis 15: 5-7, King James Version (KJV): 5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. 6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness. 7 And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.

2. Bamidbar 12: 5-8, OJB: 5 And Hashem came down in an Ammud Anan, and stood in the entrance of the Ohel, and He called Aharon and Miryam; and they both came forth. 6 And He said, Hear now My words: If there be a navi among you, I Hashem will reveal Myself unto him in a mar’ah (vision), and will speak unto him in a chalom. 7 Avdi Moshe is not so, who is ne’eman (faithful) in all Mine Bais. 8 With him will I speak peh el peh, plainly, and not in dark sayings; and the temuna (form) of Hashem shall he behold; why then were ye not afraid to speak against Avdi Moshe?

Numbers 12: 5-8, KJV: 5 And the LORD came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: and they both came forth.

3. Devarim 32: 20, OJB: 20 And He said, I will hide My face from them, I will see what their end shall be; for they are a very perverse generation, banim in whom is no faithfulness.

Deuteronomy 32: 20, KJV: 20 And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. Chabakuk 2: 4, OJB: 4 Hinei, his nashamah which is puffed up is not upright in him; but the tzaddik shall live by his emunah. [Bereshis 15: 6]

Habakkuk 2: 4, KJV: 4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
