Everlasting Covenant Scripture

Today, reply is on the error that legal and social contracts among men are the same as everlasting and perpetual covenant relationship with divinity. The divinity of GOD does not depend on his use of covenant; with or without covenant, he is GOD. Even so, the integrity and righteousness of GOD does depend on the divine fulfillment of promise and utterance. That Israel and Judah repeatedly broke covenant with GOD did not end the relationships of these nations with divinity, for they were being continued because GOD was committed to fulfilling his word to their fathers. The fellowship shared by the Creator with mankind within the Garden of Eden is seen continued through the device of covenant relationships for salvation. Mankind is granted opportunity to apprehend otherwise hidden and unseen aspects of sacred character and process. Included are commitment, faithfulness, forgiveness, grace, and reconciliation. It is written: Leviticus 26: 40-46, King James Version (KJV): 40 If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me; 41 And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity: 42 Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land. 43 The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity: because, even because they despised my judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes. 44 And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD their God. 45 But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I am the LORD. 46 These are the statutes and judgments and laws, which the LORD made between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses. Why do Jews believe that breaking a contract still entitles you to benefit from the contact anyway?

Jews had a covenant with God but they broke it. So why do Jews still feel entitled to enjoy “God’s Chosen” status and His promises when they didn’t abide by God’s terms and conditions?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Now when Jehoram was risen up to the kingdom of his father, he strengthened himself, and slew all his brethren with the sword, and divers also of the princes of Israel. Jehoram was thirty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem. And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, like as did the house of Ahab: for he had the daughter of Ahab to wife: and he wrought that which was evil in the eyes of the LORD. Howbeit the LORD would not destroy the house of David, because of the covenant that he had made with David, and as he promised to give a light to him and to his sons for ever. (2nd Chronicles 21: 4-7, King James Version, KJV)

Anonymous”, the keeping of a covenant with GOD is not possible relying only on finite human willpower. Developing Christians often make the mistake of conceiving the many covenant relationships between GOD and mankind as having been agreements and contracts between the Creator and the created as though they were equals. The covenants of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and David each introduced different levels of communication, exchange, and interaction that continued a single revelation of divine excellence. Rather than a condition of equality, divine law and personhood foster oneness without sameness. The transformation of consciousness that occurs as we live and walk in the Spirit allows the believer to realize that the character, process and substance of covenant is altered by the operation and presence of divine person. Using such devices as inheritance, proclamation, promise, and prophecy, GOD, who is immortal, incorruptible and invisible, establishes continuity where personal relationship is regularly ended through interruptions and instability from aging, death and mortality.

The terms of covenant extended to the twelve Hebrew tribes (the sons of Jacob), and the mixed multitude (some say, Gentiles) who left Egypt with Moses were to make divinity knowable, known, accessible, and approachable through the establishment of a peculiar nation and people. That the accords provided were to continue as everlasting and perpetual covenants immediately demonstrated the authority, fullness, prerogative, and sovereignty of GOD. More than this, features required for a genuine redemption and salvation appear that include chastisement, commitment, forbearance, forgiveness, judgment, longsuffering, lovingkindness, mercy, patience, renewal, repentance, and restraint. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Deuteronomy 7: 6-10, King James Version (KJV): 6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. 7 The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people: 8 But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. 9 Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations; 10 And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.

2. Exodus 31: 15-17, KJV: 15 Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. 16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. 17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

3. Jeremiah 31: 31-33, KJV: 31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. 1st Peter 2: 6-10, KJV: 6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. 7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, 8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. 9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; 10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, reply is on the favor shown to Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ, and behaving as a respecter of persons. There are two forms of “respecting persons” that appear within the holy writings: 1. judicial respect of persons is the transgression of sacred law that sees bias, influence and partiality in carrying out tribunals, applying sacred law to resolve conflicts and settle disputes, or in determining outcomes and sentences of trials; and 2. social respect of persons that sees undue favor and preference shown to someone on the basis of such features as their formal education, their ethnic background and national origin, their family connections, their office and position, their reputation, their status, or their wealth. Early Christian believers were commanded to maintain decorum, hierarchy and order among members within the church and the larger community by showing obedience, respect and reverence. Thus, Romans 13: 7-8 King James Version (KJV): 7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. 8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. Luke 1:28 says that Mary is very favored, so how is God no respecter of persons(Rom 2:11)?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons. For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts? Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats? Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called? If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors. For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. (James 2: 1-10, King James Version, KJV)

Owner Of All Cosmos&Universes”, there are multiple differences among created beings and living creatures, yet, GOD has authority to set apart (sanctify) individuals to himself, and to punish or reward according to the provisions of divine law. In the holy writings, divinity is revealed as the Creator and Maker who has put forth all existence, life, and duration. Divine fullness (we also say, the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) is known through active presence; by sacred operations and divine processes such as forgiveness, healing, judgment, praise, prayer, thanksgiving, sanctification, and worship; by such inseparable attributes as faith, forbearance, holiness, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, and wisdom as well as by being the embodiment of dominion, divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and sovereign will. While the divine work of final judgment expresses the wrath of GOD against sin, all divine judgment is carried out with balance, impartiality, restraint, and righteousness. The spirit substance from the makeup of GOD that resides within the living is examined using the record of a person’s deeds appearing within the Book of Life. Influences that would result in errors of judgment are not indulged. Included are ethnic and racial bias; age discrimination; caste or class distinctions based on finances, poverty, and wealth; marital status; national origin; prejudice based on employment and vocation (e.g., sanitation workers); and ones sexual purity. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Deuteronomy 1: 15-18, King James Version (KJV): 15 So I took the chief of your tribes, wise men, and known, and made them heads over you, captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, and captains over fifties, and captains over tens, and officers among your tribes. 16 And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between every man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him. 17 Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is God’s: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it. 18 And I commanded you at that time all the things which ye should do.

2. Psalms 4: 3, KJV: 3 But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.

3. Psalms 7: 10-11, KJV: 10 My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart. 11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.

4. Ezekiel 16: 49-50, KJV: 49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. 50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.

5. Acts 10: 30-35, KJV: 30 And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing, 31 And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God. 32 Send therefore to Joppa, and call hither Simon, whose surname is Peter; he is lodged in the house of one Simon a tanner by the sea side: who, when he cometh, shall speak unto thee. 33 Immediately therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well done that thou art come. Now therefore are we all here present before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee of God. 34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: 35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 6. 1st Peter 1: 16-21, KJV: 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. 17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: 18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, diversity, equality, and divine judgment are topics.  With immortal, incorruptible divinity, the things that are at core and that are principle(s) do not change, while diversity establishes multiple choices, progression, and effects similar to growth, motion, and streaming.  The impartiality that is required with balance, completeness, and mercy for divine judgment correctly to be seen and understood as righteous operates with creativity, divine prerogative, and diversity allowing created beings and living creatures to understand divinity as adaptable, fertile, flexible, fruitful, and generative.  A fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “?” (Level 2 with 273 points, a member since November 15, 2017) posted the following in the Religion and Spirituality forum:

Why do people say we are all created equal when the bible says there is great and small people?

Update: Even some Christians say we are all created equal.
Update 2: Revelation 19:5

Then a voice came from the throne, saying: “Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, both great and small!”

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;  Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;  And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;  That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:  (Acts 17:  24-27, King James Version, KJV)

“?”, the modern day secular conversations on economic, gender, political, and social equality of benefits, opportunities, and privileges within cities, communities and nations are very different from the sacred discourse on participation of created beings and living creatures within the kingdom of GOD.  Personhood displayed by the fullness of divinity (we say, the GODhead; the Trinity; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) is characterized by oneness without sameness that also is imparted to the living through rebirth.  Christian believers acknowledge the GOD who is Creator also is a GOD of judgment who uses standards that set fixed differences among men.  Here are some points that use language from the Bible that have been very useful to developing Christians for avoiding spiritual confusion regarding diversity and equality:

(1.)  Psalms 7:  8-12, King James Version (KJV):  8 The LORD shall judge the people:  judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.  9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just:  for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.  10 My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.  11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.  12 If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.

(2.)  Genesis 18:  24-26, KJV:  24 Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city:  wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?  25 That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked:  and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee:  Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?  26 And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.

(3.)  Ezekiel 18:  4, KJV:  4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine:  the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

(4.)  Ezekiel 18:  23-32, KJV:  23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GODand not that he should return from his ways, and live?  24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned:  in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.  25 Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal?  26 When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die.  27 Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive.  28 Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.  29 Yet saith the house of Israel, The way of the Lord is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? are not your ways unequal?  30 Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.  31 Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit:  for why will ye die, O house of Israel?  32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD:  wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

(5.)  Malachi 3:  13-18, KJV:  13 Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?  14 Ye have said, It is vain to serve God:  and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?  15 And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.  16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another:  and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.  17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.  18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

(6.)  Romans 3:  19-26, KJV:  19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law:  that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.  20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight:  for by the law is the knowledge of sin.  21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;  22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe:  for there is no difference:  23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;  24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:  25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;  26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness:  that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (7.)  1st Corinthians 1:  10, KJV:  10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, topics include discipline, divine order, judging others, sacred rule, and sanctification within the church.  A little poison does not kill only a spot on a person’s tongue, or in their stomach; the life of the entire body becomes at risk.  The church of Jesus Christ is a very sensitive and sophisticated sacred body.  Sinners are to receive and respond to divine spirit substances that encourage permanent changes in their character, makeup, and personhood that will allow them to function as the new creation through Jesus Christ.  Once born again, developing believers must remain vigilant against threats that arise within their own local congregation as well as those that come from outside the body through diverse agents and institutions.  The dangers are not so much having to repel personal attacks, emotional conflicts, quarrels and physical violence as the damage by errors in sacred doctrine and practice along with spiritual confusion.  All have sinned and are in a sacred process of discovery, gradual growth, regeneration, and renewal that places members on different levels of duty, knowledge, opportunity, maturity, readiness, skill, and understanding.  Occasionally, rededication and revival must be encouraged for selected members by separation to eliminate worldly distractions (we say, shunning).  Thereby, their heartfelt works of cleansing, fasting, learning, meditation, and prayer may go to new levels of concentration and self-will directed by GOD.  One of the many fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” forum who use the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

How does God feel about shunning and why do you think it is right or wrong?

Update: Jay– thank you for comment that shows the love of Jesus.

As for first comment it is sad and please do not disrespect the faith of others and if you choose to live a life without faith then mostly sadness is what many get who doubt.
Update 2: There are many reasons some shun and would like to hear some more answers please.
Update 3: There are some family members I would like to dedicate this question to and wonder if they even know what Godly love is?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent:  for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season.  Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance:  for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.  For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of:  but the sorrow of the world worketh death.  For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.  Wherefore, though I wrote unto you, I did it not for his cause that had done the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear unto you.  (2nd Corinthians 7:  8-12, King James Version, KJV)

“Anonymous”, the church founded by Jesus Christ as the new creation serves a GOD who is Creator, Deliverer, Redeemer, Savior, a GOD of Love, and a GOD of Judgment.  The process of divine tribunal has already begun for those who are a habitation of GOD through the Spirit, and will continue to the Advent (we say, the harvest, the Rapture, the Second Coming).  Many developing believers are being examined and sealed at this very hour.  In my understanding as a Christian, shunning comes into view not as an act of GOD; it is a collective act by the church as a full body to admonish, censure, and reprimand (yet not disgrace, dishonor, excommunicate, or punish) those members who are not upholding their duties, their pledges, and their obligations as part of the full assembly.  When children in the home neglect the chores they have been assigned by their parents, action must be taken to correct their understanding of why the task is necessary, and its importance and value to the household as well as how to correctly and more quickly complete the task along with whatever cleanup it may involve.  The sacred and prophetic works that come into view are edification and exhortation.  There should be communication that includes correction, demonstration, instruction, and “walk-through”.  While there is a focus on behavior modification and change, the primary goal for all members of the body is spiritual growth that is gradual, and that occurs in the most lasting way through discovery, fellowship, and sacred practice.

The church exists as a divinely provided mechanism to guide sinners to becoming Christ-like.  Yet, many request membership within the church as a means to self-development, self-expression, and self-promotion (some say, freedom; expressing free-will) that expands or extends aspects of their own inborn character and nature, not the endowments and gifts imparted at baptism and rebirth from the makeup of GOD (e.g., faith, holiness, humility, longsuffering, lovingkindness, purity, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin).

Both for the church to exist and for the church to “bear fruit” as a planting of GOD, the multiple differences and variations that appear among believers must become manifest as oneness without sameness.  Saying this another way, in addition to showing respect and speaking the truth throughout the body and at every level, there must be demonstrating accountability, listening, performing assigned duty, sacrifice, and unselfish service.  Shunning may appear within congregations as an acknowledgement of apostolic authority and counsel recorded within the Scriptures.  With that in view, shunning is not to be dismissed as merely arbitrary, hurtful, secular, and social.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  2nd Timothy 3:  1-5, King James Version (KJV):  1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,  3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;  5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof:  from such turn away.

(2.)  1st Corinthians 5:  1-13, KJV:  1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife.  2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.  3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,  4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,  5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.  6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?  7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:  8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.  9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:  10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.  11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.  12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?  13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

(3.)  Matthew 18:  15-20, KJV:  15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone:  if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.  16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.  17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church:  but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.  18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven:  and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.  19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.  20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Revelation 22:  10-17, KJV:  10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book:  for the time is at hand.  11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still:  and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still:  and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still:  and he that is holy, let him be holy still.  12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.  13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.  14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.  15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.  16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.  17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, focus is on the appearance in Scripture of commandments granting equality in judgment to the poor with the rich.  Divine law is to be administered as fair, impartial, and unbiased as well as “the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth” (Leviticus 19:  15, King James Version (KJV):  15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment:  thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty:  but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.)  For many mature Christian believers the only wealth that has lasting value is that from the abundance of GOD as his imparted, indwelling Spirit.  Thus, the carnal, material and social distinctions of rich and poor have become meaningless in Jesus Christ.  A writer at “Yahoo! Does the Bible say that laws should be applied the same way to the rich and the poor, with no exceptions made in favor of the poor?

I know mercy and love are crucial in the Bible, but I also recall reading in the Bible that laws must be applied consistently, whether the person affected is rich or poor (i.e., an exception can’t be made to a law on a case-by-case basis if the person is poor).

Can someone tell me where to find verses that say this about laws, if it’s true?

Thanks.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;  Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;  And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:  And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.  For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.  Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;  And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;  In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:  In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.  (Ephesians 2:  14-22, King James Version, KJV)

“East”, divine law in support of the poor does appear in the Bible.  Even so, overarching principles of unity and oneness without sameness appear throughout the holy writings.  In some instances their application is limited to those who were in the formal covenant relationship with GOD that was established for Moses and those who left Egypt with him, and in others they apply to the new covenant through the blood of Jesus.  Provisions do appear in the making of offerings, the payment of certain fees, and sacrifices that acknowledged the limited resources of the poor, and gave them a peculiar “relief”  without also removing their duty and obligation.  Additionally, many admonitions and warnings appear to those who might transgress that disobedience by one individual could result in punishment for the entire nation.   Here are some points from the Scriptures that may be helpful:

(1.)  Deuteronomy 1:  16-18, King James Version (KJV):  16 And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between every man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him.

(2.)  Exodus 23:  1-3, KJV:  1 Thou shalt not raise a false report:  put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.  2 Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:  3 Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.

(3.)  Psalms 140:  12, KJV:  12 I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor.

(4.)  James 2:  8-10, KJV:  8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:  9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.  10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

(5.)  Ephesians 4:  4-7, KJV:  4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;  5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,  6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.  7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

(6.)  Galatians 3:  27-29, KJV:  27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.  28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female:  for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.  29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (7.)  Ephesians 2:  11-16, KJV:  11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called   Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;  12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:  13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.  14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;  15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;  16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, response is made to the notion that diversity and social hierarchy are divinely created and maintained.  The GOD we serve as Christian believers is not a sovereign over a geographical region or areas within the partially charted universe.  He is a Deity having authority and rule over life essence within the living (i.e., breath, spirit, word).  Respect of persons pertains to the World system in terms of such features as bias, discrimination, favor, influence, injustice, preferential treatment, and prejudice in support of those displaying prestige, privilege, prowess, and economic status.  Respect of persons as an aspect of Christian belief addresses acknowledgment, blessing, judgment, and promotion by divinity to continually manifest existence as well as oneness without sameness, carryout divine operations, fulfill promise and prophecy, and to accomplish eternal purposes.  While imbalance and inequality can provide benefit by provoking action, adjustments, corrections, and movement that cancel inflexibility, rigidity and stagnation, the advantages from consistency, equality, maturity, and stability are often more fruitful and abiding.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Political Commentator” (Level 1 with 6 points, a member since December 03, 2015) posted the following:

Do you know that the social hierarchy is God ordained instead of a man made construct (Isaiah 45:9-11, Romans 9:21)?

Romans 9:21 – Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor?

Isaiah 45:9 – Woe to you who strive with your Maker, earthen vessels with the potter! Does the clay say to the one who fashions it, “What are you making”? or “Your work has no handles”?

Isaiah 45:10 – Woe to anyone who says to a father, “What are you begetting?” or to a woman, “With what are you in labor?”

Isaiah 45:11 – Thus says the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and its Maker: Will you question me about my children, or command me concerning the work of my hands?

—————————————…

Romans 9:21 has made it clear that God (Creator, Potter) has purposely created human diversity, such that one person would always have greater honour, prestige and social status than his neighbour/brother.

Such differences are innate and God ordained according to the meaning of Romans 9:21.

As God has given some individuals innately more prestige, honour and social status than other people.

Romans 9:21 is unequivocal on this point – That God is merciful to have purposely created some people to have greater honour, prestige and social status than other people; and this social hierarchy was part of God’s divine plan from the very beginning.

Update: So what are you going to do about it if you don’t like God’s creation and the social hierarchy ordained by the Creator – knowing that it would be folly, misguided and a sin to question/deny God’s preordination, creatorship and His sovereign right over human life?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:  But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.  For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.  (James 2:  8-10, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Diversity and Divine (08/28/2016); GOD’s Way Not Equal? (07/17/2016); Purpose Cultural, Political, Spiritual Growth? (07/10/2016);  Hierarchy For Mankind (01/24/2016); Hierarchy Among Christians (01/22/2016); Where Society Is Headed? (01/11/2016); A GOD of Judgment (12/01/2015);  Called To Be Servants? (11/25/2015)

“Political Commentator”, for many mature Christian believers the divine use of hierarchy is in the nature of bestowing accountability, charging and entrusting servants with duties, delegating tasks, and structuring divine government.  Thus, the Creator revealed himself to Moses as a god having authority who also requires impartiality, judgment, justice, mercy, obedience to sacred law, reverence, and righteousness.  The platform for assignment of value as a “life companion” to divinity (we say, salvation) is not the collection of standards historically promoted among men such as ones carnal attributes (e.g., eye color, hair, height, physical strength, weight), ownership of material goods (e.g., car, horse, house, luxuries, weapons), and their personal relations (e.g., business contacts, children, friends, spouse).  Another mindset must be employed wherein divine gifts (we say, the imparted, indwelling spirit) establish capacity for growth, humility, learning, ministry, service, sharing, and suffering.  Inseparable aspects of the makeup of GOD are bestowed that include faith, forbearance, holiness, longsuffering, love, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Consider again how these ideas appear within the holy writings:

(1.)  Psalms 15:  1-5, King James Version (KJV):  1 LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?  2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.  3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.  4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.  5 He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

(2.)  Isaiah 57:  15-16, KJV:  15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.  16 For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth:  for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.

(3.)  Deuteronomy 1:  13-17, KJV:  13 Take you wise men, and understanding, and known among your tribes, and I will make them rulers over you.  14 And ye answered me, and said, The thing which thou hast spoken is good for us to do.  15 So I took the chief of your tribes, wise men, and known, and made them heads over you, captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, and captains over fifties, and captains over tens, and officers among your tribes.

(4.)  Isaiah 57:  1-5, KJV:  1 The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart:  and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.  2 He shall enter into peace:  they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.  3 But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the whore.  4 Against whom do ye sport yourselves? against whom make ye a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood.  5 Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clifts of the rocks?

(5.)  Acts 10:  34-38, KJV:  34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:  35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.  36 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ:  (he is Lord of all:)  37 That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;  38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power:  who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, the words of Jesus, (6.)  Luke 12:  15, KJV:  15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness:  for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Scripture points are shared, today, on differences appearing among and between affliction, chastisement, and suffering by Christian believers.  While all believers receive the same atonement and covering from GOD through Jesus Christ, all are not upon the same level of authority, duty, personal maturity, obligation, and privilege.  There may be differences in the character, nature, purpose, quality and substance of our life experiences.  Along with the divine standards that counsel believers not to make public displays for self-promotion and vainglory, the sacred principle is in effect that the gifts we are granted and provided are in accordance with specific works we are expected to do.  Certainly differences in our commitments, cultural awareness, emotional and psychological strength, prayer life, and spiritual preparation also result in believers having diverse experiences within the same community of faith.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Why does it seem like God loves some people more than others?

some people never go through hardships.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And Samuel did that which the LORD spake, and came to Bethlehem. And the elders of the town trembled at his coming, and said, Comest thou peaceably?  And he said, Peaceably:  I am come to sacrifice unto the LORD:  sanctify yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice. And he sanctified Jesse and his sons, and called them to the sacrifice.  And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the LORD’s anointed is before him.  But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him:  for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.  Then Jesse called Abinadab, and made him pass before Samuel. And he said, Neither hath the LORD chosen this.  Then Jesse made Shammah to pass by. And he said, Neither hath the LORD chosen this.  Again, Jesse made seven of his sons to pass before Samuel. And Samuel said unto Jesse, The LORD hath not chosen these.  And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him:  for we will not sit down till he come hither.  And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him:  for this is he.  Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren:  and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.  But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.  (1st Samuel 16:  4-13, King James Version, KJV)

“Naomi”, it is not that all believers do not endure losses, pain, or suffering; it is that most do not make it the major focus of their conversation and dealing with others; (in this sense) believers suffer in silence, and do not let it show.  An inarguable declaration of divine love for the full Creation and all living creatures, particularly those separated from GOD through the operations of sin, was made by Jesus Christ dying on the cross.  Human error that results from awareness and self-will being dominated by the operations of sin as well as by dependency upon carnal, material and social elements of reality continues to deny, distort and misrepresent many aspects of sacred truth.  Jesus once said, Ye do err not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God (see Matthew 22:  29, King James Version, KJV).  The understanding you have expressed here is the same as that recorded in the Book of Job as having been uttered before GOD by one among the holy angels.  To correctly recognize the many operations of divinity that invisibly exist as a cause or precondition to outcomes we all may see requires discernment (ability to examine ones own sacred content and that within attitudes, events, messages, other persons, purposes, etc.).  Those who are “born again” must “grow up again” by experiencing “growing pains,” life challenges, and even suffering upon the earth.  Through operations of the Holy Spirit, believers receive anointing and deposits from the inseparable aspects of divine makeup that include holy boldness, faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, meekness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Thereby, believers are equipped and grounded to meet adversity, to go on to become mature and “ripe” for harvest, and to be taken up by the Lord at his appearing (we say, Advent, the Rapture, the Second Coming).  In that sacred event, our transformation to existing as “perfected” and eternal companions to divinity will be completed.  Consider again how some of this is stated in the language of the Bible:

(1.)  Ezekiel 33:  15-20, KJV:  15 If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.  16 None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him:  he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.  17 Yet the children of thy people say, The way of the Lord is not equal:  but as for them, their way is not equal.  18 When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby.  19 But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby.  20 Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways.

(2.)  Malachi 3:  14-18, KJV:  14 Ye have said, It is vain to serve God:  and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?

(3.)  Matthew 6:  16-18, KJV:  16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance:  for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.  17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;  18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret:  and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

(4.)  2nd Timothy 3:  12, KJV:  12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

There is far more that to be said, carefully examined, and spiritually understood.  (For example, (5.)  1st Peter 4:  14-16, KJV:  14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you:  on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.  15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters.  16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
