Today, Excalibur (the sword of King Arthur), the Sword of Truth, deception, discernment, and judgment are in view.  Before sinners become committed as those who are reborn through Jesus Christ, there are many vain elements (i.e., features lacking sacred substance; things that should not be taken into account) from the flesh and the world that determine what they will focus upon and perceive as causes, explanations, justifications, and priorities among life experiences.  Those who are deceived attribute to the Adversary (Satan) authority, majesty, power and rule over duration, obedience, and worship.  Yet, the Adversary and his followers in heaven are created beings, who are neither mortal nor immortal, and continue having access to divinity, knowledge, and existence only at the discretion and prerogative of GOD.  Eternal life, glory, perfection, and sovereignty over all that exists should be regarded as belonging exclusively to GOD.  Thus, it is written:  James 2:  19, King James Version (KJV):  19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well:  the devils also believe, and tremble.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Why do people blame God for all of the trouble and deaths that’s going on today I thought it was SATAN?

Isnt it SATAN, I think he should be the one to BLAME!!

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.  Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.  Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so:  thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.  Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.  By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned:  therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God:  and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.  Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness:  I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.  Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.  All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee:  thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.  (Ezekiel 28:  12-19, KJV)

“Anthony”, those who blame, condemn, and seek to contend against GOD are in error.  Such persons may have been deceived (we say, manipulated, tricked) by the Adversary; influenced by those who disbelieve (e.g., family, peers, and society); or their awareness and self-will may be dominated by sin.  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and all Creation.  The will of GOD is not subject to sin, therefore, those created beings and living creatures among the angels and mankind who are overthrown by sin must regain the indwelling divine essence (we say, breath, spirit, word, utterance) that permits an eternal existence as a companion to divinity.

Often what people take to be the truth, or trust to be correct regarding divinity is anchored in popular culture, secular knowledge, and their own private expressions of creativity and mind.  Through “baptism” (death of ones inborn spirit, rebirth from divine DNA, so to speak), and various other sacred operations that can be completed only by GOD, sinners become “born again” and must “grow up again.”  Christian believers must acquire sacred knowledge along with new ways of assigning value, displaying and expressing their own spirit content, making choices, resting, speaking, and thinking.

Error and sin express more than simply a person’s likes and dislikes, their personality, or individual qualities and traits.  Aspects of cosmic and transcendent order come into view including unseen elements from ones character, nature, and substance.  While what appears upon the surface truly is an authentic indication of what is beneath, the frameworks of time and space always generate dimensionality so that, what you see now is not always what you get later.  A classic  example of this was shared through the 1981 motion picture, Excalibur, that centered upon King Arthur, who established a tradition of courtliness and knighthood in a territory where idolatry, elements from the Roman Empire, witchcraft, and Christian belief all coexisted in conflict.  Camelot became a model for nations throughout Christendom.  Sir Mordred was the king’s nephew and son; a bitter, impatient crown prince (like Absalom, son of King David) yet heir to the throne; and the king’s greatest enemy (the Black Knight).  Preparing to go into battle, we see the assassin choosing to wear a golden armor, and dressed to kill as “an angel of light.”

MORDRED

Among mature Christian believers the Adversary is acknowledged as one at the level of a servant, while the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are exalted and preeminent.  The Adversary was created to serve the GODhead, even through peculiar roles in the atonement, judgment, redemption and salvation of the entire earth and mankind.

Today, points are shared on humility, mercy and sacred knowledge vital to becoming fruitful as Christian believers.  While appeal is made to those who correctly realize there is need for a profound change in the fullness of divine Creation, Christ is not recruiting followers upon the earth who are to serve as blasphemers, covenant-breakers, destroyers, killers, promoters of sin, slanderers, or those who will abase, condemn, and ruthlessly torment others.  A fighter at “Yahoo! Isn’t sinful for Christians to yearn for death and destruction of gay communities? Is it common for Christians to have that view?

I have a Facebook friend of age 70 who belongs to old oriental orthodox Christian. She considers that homosexuality is wrong and disagrees with gay marriage. I respect her view on that.

But what I found disturbing is that she has put posted a comment on facebook where she prays to God for destroying the LGBT communities of America ( especially those participating in the the gay pride parades) in Sodom and Gomorrah manner
When explained to her that yearning for death of something just because she disagrees with it is like having a terrorist mindset. But she proudly reiterated that she has that mindset.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them:  for this is the law and the prophets.  Enter ye in at the strait gate:  for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.  Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?  Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.  A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.  Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.  Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you:  depart from me, ye that work iniquity.  (Matthew 7:  12-23, KJV)

“Catholic”, many may be counted as “proud” Christians, who are not also “mature” Christians.  Often “the proud” are those who have approached Christian belief to obtain the free gifts and privileges granted to the disciples and followers of Jesus Christ, and who have no real appreciation of the duties, responsibilities, and works of faith required as aspects of GOD’s “new creation.”  Without the inseparable elements from the makeup of divinity imparted through such sacred experiences as baptism, fellowship, service, study and worship, a believer lacks the necessary spirit substance that releases the living from human error, ignorance, and spiritual confusion.  Included are balance, faith, forbearance, holiness, humility, joy, longsuffering, meekness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

Every “born again” believer, must also “grow up” again becoming mature by continuing life experiences upon the earth.  Because of the divine operations of rebirth performed by the Holy Spirit, believers are enabled to acknowledge Jesus as Son of the Highest, and a living sacrifice for atonement and propitiation of sin.  Believers are to undergo a transformation to exist as life companions of divinity (i.e., they are to become immortal and incorruptible).  The  permanent changes now being made in their character, nature and substance are gradually introduced and revealed through the church.  Diversity continues to appear among believers, and, while all are to be unified as a single body, all are not upon the same emotional, psychological, and spiritual levels.

There is far more that could be said, must be carefully examined, and spiritually understood.  (For example, believers are commanded to love one another, and even to love their enemies.  Forgiveness and unselfish ministry are to be practiced continually.  Even so, judgment is vital to the continued existence of Creation.  The operations of sin oppose the further existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and the Creation put forth under law.  Thus, while life is the divine intent, death has been introduced as a sacred tool needed to expose sin, and ensure life through resurrection.  Those insisting they themselves may display the displeasure and wrath of GOD, usually do so as defiance, disobedience, presumption, and rebellion against the Most High.  Consider again how some of this is stated in the language of the Bible:

(1.)  Hosea 6:  1-7, King James Version (KJV):  1 Come, and let us return unto the LORD:  for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.  2 After two days will he revive us:  in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.  3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD:  his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.  4 O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.  5 Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth:  and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth.  6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.  7 But they like men have transgressed the covenant:  there have they dealt treacherously against me.

(2.)  Titus 3:  3-7, KJV:  3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.  4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,  5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;  6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;  7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

(3.)  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

There is far more that could be said, must be carefully examined, and spiritually understood.  (For example, (4.)  2nd Corinthians 5:  17-21, KJV:  17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:  old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.  18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;  19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.  20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us:  we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.  21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Points are shared on mankind’s need for the cross as a divine response providing support to human efforts that address relief for death and suffering.  The need for love that operates as unselfish action is not simply an imperative for mankind.  The entire universe and all Creation must have elements from divinity that appear as divine order, eternal purpose, and sacred process. It takes the “hand of GOD” to maintain ongoing existence with life, death, hope, and multiple possibilities for change; and it takes the cross as a ground for believers to be rooted in assurance, balance, empathy, imparted spirit content, and truth.  Mature Christian believers are to trust that answers are continuing to flow to us across time and space through operations of the Holy Spirit, and blood and truth from the cross are reaching to here and now.  Bias, prejudice, and error in judgment persist primarily through false assumptions, vain hopes, sentiment, and inability to restrict ones focus to the specifics of faith and sacred evidence.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Christians, why would you want to worship a God that bestows blessings upon you, while ignoring the desperate pleas of dying children?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:  Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:  Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.  But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.  To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.  (1st Peter 5:  6-11, KJV)

“Methane Mama”, experienced persons in our world who actually do the work of seeking to save the dying (and don’t just talk about it) all understand that, because we  have only finite abilities, crude skills and tools, and may only truly address the things that are external, mechanical, and surface, another dimension and level of “possibility” must come into ones understanding.  To care and dare, is to risk failure, frustration, and betrayal of everything that makes you feel good about yourself.  Despite its fixed patterns for assigning value, decision-making, and exchange, the strength of intellect, mind, and self-will easily become battle-worn, fatigued, and overwhelmed without the safeguards and shields derived through ones inward spirit content.  The assurances provided by divinity, such as Jesus Christ dying upon the cross, provide distance and perspective essential for binding death, and breaking the chains from despair, fear, ignorance, and hopelessness.

Mature belief in the divine operations pertaining to life are a crucial platform for being focused, grounded, and stable.  The acknowledgement of GOD (we say, praise, reverence, worship) is “existential”, meaning, like having to breathe in and out, taking in food, and putting waste away from ones organs, it is an unavoidable condition for mankind to continue as “alive” upon the earth.  Accepting the limits imposed by our Creator include having no ability to fashion  or acquire knowledge about Deity except through blessings (we say, gifts), divine revelation, and spirit provisions from GOD.  While social importance, carnal pleasure, and satisfaction through material things are possible for created beings and living creatures, desire, self-promotion, self-will and “will power” alone can not eliminate, remove or undo sin, suffering, and wickedness.

It is by the blessing of GOD that we are not emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually crushed by the continuing presence of death in the earth.  Tragedies occur that may be as far away as Ecuador, Houston Texas, or Japan, yet, without strength from GOD, we are impotent, and may only be onlookers who feel a deep sense of loss within our own homes, within our own hearts.  The cross has been granted as an inarguable evidence of divine love, and it is a “good-faith” gesture proclaiming that believers will receive a divine inheritance.  Consider again how these ideas are shared using language from the Bible:

(1.)  Romans 8:  13-17, King James Version (KJV):  13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die:  but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.  14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.  15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.  16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:  17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

(2.)   2nd Corinthians 1:  21-22, KJV:  21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;  22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

(3.)  Romans 8:  22-25, KJV:  22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.  23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.  24 For we are saved by hope:  but hope that is seen is not hope:  for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?  25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

There is far more to be said, understood, and spiritually taken in.  (For example, (4.)  1st Peter 2:  6-10, KJV:  6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.  7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious:  but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,  8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient:  whereunto also they were appointed.  9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;  10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God:  which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, points are shared on divine accountability, human error, forgiveness, and the cross.  For those acknowledging the sacrifice of Jesus Christ upon the cross to provide atonement for their sin, forgiveness comes into view as a sacred operation performed only by GOD, and by those serving Deity as agents and spokespersons.  In forgiveness, forbearance, grace and divine prerogative are made visible, and revealed as permanent aspects of the divine makeup.  Forgiveness may not diminish or increase ones spirit content such as faith, holiness, and wisdom, however, forgiveness alters the fundamental nature and perfection of the Creation by its impact upon final judgment that acknowledges the presence of spirit matter, assigns value to all that exists (e.g., events, influences, objects, processes, things seen and unseen), and applies divine law to resolve conflicts and settle disputes.  Accord, balance, eternal glory, quality, and totality of the whole Creation are to be determined, and permanently set.  As an act of pardoning among carnal beings and living creatures, forgiveness often becomes a further expression of condemnation, error, lust, pride, self-promotion, sentiment, and slander.  Readers are encouraged to consider the following Scriptures, and the presentation below:

Mark 2:  7, King James Version (KJV):  7 Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?

1st Kings 8:  46-50, KJV:  46 If they sin against thee, (for there is no man that sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captives unto the land of the enemy, far or near;  47 Yet if they shall bethink themselves in the land whither they were carried captives, and repent, and make supplication unto thee in the land of them that carried them captives, saying, We have sinned, and have done perversely, we have committed wickedness;  48 And so return unto thee with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies, which led them away captive, and pray unto thee toward their land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, the city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy name:  49 Then hear thou their prayer and their supplication in heaven thy dwelling place, and maintain their cause,  50 And forgive thy people that have sinned against thee, and all their transgressions wherein they have transgressed against thee, and give them compassion before them who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them:

Ecclesiastes 7:  20, KJV:  20 For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.

Acts 17:  30-31, KJV:  30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:  31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

Colossians 1:  12-15, KJV:  12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:  13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:  14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:  15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:  16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers:  all things were created by him, and for him:  17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

2nd Corinthians 4:  15-18, KJV:  15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.  16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.  17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;  18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen:  for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Wht is the meaning of the proverb ‘to err is human, to forgive is divine?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.  (Matthew 22:  29, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Forgiveness and The Cross (04/04/2016); The Choice of Knowledge? (10/28/2015); Pointing Out Error? (10/07/2015); Justified Through Christ? (08/26/2015); To Err is Human? (07/24/2015); The God Concept? (02/13/2015); By Inspiration of GOD (10/27/2013)

“Sid”, the adage declaring “to err is human” speaks to the character, nature and substance of created beings and living creatures as compared to that of divinity.  This old saying is often used by those arguing that GOD is not righteous to eternally condemn, punish, or express wrath against sin and transgression of divine law.  Humans being error prone, fallible, and imperfect are seen as natural, normal, and even endearing aspects of human makeup.  Given that GOD could, yet does not, make miraculous interventions to prevent and save us when we are about to make a mistake, Deity is held to be the one that should be blamed and scorned as being at fault.  After all, they argue, divinity has imposed many of our associations and life conditions that result in error (i.e., success and failure are predetermined).  Sin is pervasive and unavoidable; and must appear as destiny, fate, karma, and bad luck.  With this in view, forgiveness is a form of sacred merchandise that may be bargained for, bought and sold, demanded as entitlement, and called for as a divine debt owed to those Deity has abused and victimized.  Failing to comprehend the operations of divine order that maintain existence and the universe, such pray for, and request forgiveness as a form of acceptance, approval, and “unconditional love” wherein GOD is to yield authority, or grant permission allowing error to continue without censure or challenge.  Those at fault, then, need make no confession or changes in attitude, self-management, and practice.  Transgressors should endure no suffering, and there even need be no pangs of conscience, remorse, or repentance.  Yet, for Christian believers, sorrow for sin is critical to humanity becoming “perfected” by GOD, and fully apprehending the blessing from Christ dying upon the cross as a sacrifice for our sin.  Forgiveness appears as divinity becoming manifest (active, present, visible) to permanently change and transform mankind.  Consider again how this is stated using language from the Bible:

(1.)  Romans 6:  3-7, King James Version (KJV):  3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?  4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death:  that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.  5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:  6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.  7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

(2.)  1st John 1:  8-10, KJV:  8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

(3.)  2nd Corinthians 7:  9-11, KJV:  9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance:  for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.  10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of:  but the sorrow of the world worketh death.  11 For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.

There is far more to be said, understood, and spiritually apprehended.

That Christians benefit and serve one another by exposing error, faults and sin are considered, today.  Comfort and encouragement are provided by the Gospel through assurances that correction and divine forgiveness are available along with change (e.g., growth, learning, rebirth), newness of life, right relationship with divinity, spiritual power, and sacred wisdom.  Awareness and self-will in created beings and living creatures may become dominated by sin.  Because sin does not immediately appear as contrary to ones own character and makeup, many do not detect the operations of sin as destructive, foreign and out of place.  Sin works as though concealed, invisible and hidden.  As spokespersons for Christ, believers are to prophesy sharing what is called exhortation.  To avoid, resist and escape the snares of sin, there must be awareness of error, commitment characterized by humility and meekness as well as determined repentance.  Consider again the following council from Scripture, and the points shared below:  Hebrews 3:  12-13, King James Version (KJV):  12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.  13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.  The fighter at “Yahoo! THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile:  But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.  For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness:  Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ.  But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children:  So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because ye were dear unto us.  For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail:  for labouring night and day, because we would not be chargeable unto any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of God.  Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:  As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children,  That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.  For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.  (1st Thessalonians 2:  3-13, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  We Judge Each Other? (10/04/2015); Making Sin Appear as Sinful? (06/07/2015); Judge Thy Neighbor? (02/15/2015); Living In The Light? (01/08/2015); Cruel and Offensive (07/24/2014)

“X”, our present day culture is quick to deny that there is any such thing as accountability or sin; and many are insulted and take offense when others offer to share correction.  Yet, just as divine law has been given to make sin visible that otherwise would be hidden and unknown to created beings and living creatures, fellowship and personal bonds with those having spirit content from divinity to expose sin also have been provided through the ministry of Jesus Christ.  Therefore, the process for acknowledgement, forgiveness, and restoration of trust is intimate and personal.  Believers are not to see the law as a rigid, unfeeling tool that only destroys or imposes condemnation, despair, gloom, and misery.  Similarly, the sacred practices of confession, penitence, and repentance are not to be rejected as though malicious  interference, intrusion, and oppression.  As with the admonitions, cautions, criticisms, and warnings from our parents as we are growing in the home, the counsels and rebukes of clergy, fellow laborers in the Gospel, and those who are our companions in new life through Jesus Christ are to be understood as intended for our benefit, and necessary expressions of love from our Savior.  Believers are to serve one another speaking the truth in humility about their own and each other’s errors, faults, and shortcomings as well as about our sins committed in ignorance.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  James 5:  16, King James Version (KJV):  16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray for one another, that ye may be healed.  The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

(2.)  James 5:  19-20, KJV:  Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;  20 Let him know, that he which converted the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

(3.)  2nd Corinthians 1:  3-7, KJV:  3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;  4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.  5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.  6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer; or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.  7 And our hope of you is steadfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Hebrews 12:  3-8, KJV:  3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.  4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.  5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:  6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.  7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?  8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, Scripture points are shared on justification, divine law, license, and rebirth.  Rightly understood, Christ only has justified our godliness by growing, learning, and practicing the things of his faith and our surrender to divinity. Is it ok to murder, rape and steal if you’re a Christian because someone else has been crucified for your sins?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men:  but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.  And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him:  but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.  Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt:  for the tree is known by his fruit.  O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.  A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things:  and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.  But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.  For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.  (Matthew 12:  31-37, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Sinless Until Advent? (11/05/2014); Holy Wars? (11/06/2014); On Testing GOD (06/20/2013); GOD Grants License? (06/21/2013); Origin of Baptism? (06/22/2013); No Free Will (10/19/2010)

“Eagle”, all Christian believers start out with errors,  misinformation, and unchallenged assumptions that are gradually replaced with sacred knowledge, spiritual maturity, and their own life experience of encounter with GOD.  In ignorance, many approach new life through Christ, redemption, and salvation expecting to receive approval, endorsement, “freely given treasure and wealth” from GOD (we say, something for nothing), and a golden ticket (license) to “do as you please.”  Often, these persons dismiss all the law given by GOD, that they may never really have comprehended, obeyed and respected.  As they begin, such persons at best are honest and sincere investigators and seekers, who truly are motivated to find out more.  Through the various divine and human operations of baptism (e.g., commitment, death, love, trust), the inborn spirit of the new believer “dies”, and is replaced with spirit content from the makeup of GOD.  It is then that curiosity and intellectual inquisitiveness are replaced by the deep need within all created beings and living creatures to be in intimate association and right relationship with the Creator.  In a sense, only the new birth (being born again) and the following life processes for the believer (growing up again; becoming perfected) are justified by the blood of Jesus from the cross.   Thus, for the Christian, who now understands that we are in a process being carried out by GOD that will continue indefinitely, only such things will become “ok” as having to accept permanent changes in ones character and nature, to make confession, to fellowship with others in Christ, to repent, to daily offer prayers of gratitude, to make detailed study of the holy writings, to share the admonition and warnings given believers, and to speak in the authority and name of Jesus.  Here are a few points from the Bible that also should be helpful:

(1.)  Job 25:  1-6, King James Version (KJV):  1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,  2 Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places.  3 Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise?  4 How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?  5 Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.  6 How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?

(2.)  Psalms 51:  3-5, KJV:  3 For I acknowledge my transgressions:  and my sin is ever before me.  4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight:  that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.  5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

(3.)  Isaiah 43:  8-10, KJV:  8 Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.  9 Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled:  who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified:  or let them hear, and say, It is truth.  10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen:  that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he:  before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

(4.)  Acts 13:  38-39, KJV:  38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:  39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

(5.)  Luke 7: 28-30, KJV:  28 For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist:  but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.  29 And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.  30 But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him.

(6.)  Romans 2:  12-16, KJV:  12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law:  and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;  13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.  14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:  15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

There is far more that could be said, and that must be correctly understood and spiritually taken into account.  (For example (7.)  Galatians 2:  16-21, KJV:  16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law:  for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.  17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.  18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.  19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.  20 I am crucified with Christ:  nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:  and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.  21 I do not frustrate the grace of God:  for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Scriptures points are shared, today, on idolatry, false worship, and the existence of no other gods besides the Creator.  It is written:  The secret things belong unto the LORD our God:  but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law (Deuteronomy 29:  29, KJV).  Because mankind is finite and temporal, the operations of the one holy, sanctified (we say, set apart) and true GOD to make known the full control, power, eternal purposes, immutability, range and scope of divinity must encompass multiple manifestations of existence through detail and subtlety (i.e., barely visible differences; changes that are difficult to detect; hidden shifts in meaning and value).  Saying this another way:  GOD must use measurable dimension, form, material being, and even incarnation (appearing in flesh) to establish the most complete and correct revelation of divinity.  GOD is a spirit, and otherwise invisible to the eye.  Deity becomes known, therefore, using thousands of events appearing within and through thousands of lives over the course of thousands of years.  The human predicament is not that GOD has denied necessary sacred knowledge to humanity; it is that many upon the earth prefer human error, disbelief, and presumption.  A fighter at “Yahoo! When God said: worship no other gods beside me(or whatever it was, you know what I mean), was he acknowledging that other gods exist?

If not, why wouldn’t he say don’t worship other things, or have worded it differently?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake.  Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?  But our God is in the heavens:  he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.  Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.  They have mouths, but they speak not:  eyes have they, but they see not:  They have ears, but they hear not:  noses have they, but they smell not:  They have hands, but they handle not:  feet have they, but they walk not:  neither speak they through their throat.  They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.  (Psalms 115:  1-8, KJV)

“Nathan”, divine law proclaiming that no other gods are to be worshiped acknowledges not the existence of multiple gods, of widespread human error, and the desperate need of created beings and living creatures for divine revelation.  Most mature Christians believe that from the beginning of this Creation that focuses upon and serves mankind, divinity has appeared and revealed the GODhead (i.e., made Deity known) by being in intimate relationships with those living upon the earth.  For nearly 1,000 years, Adam was upon the earth, and shared oral history and living testimony to the origins of the human race, the changes that occurred in the human condition as the result of sin, and the divine provisions for atonement, cleansing, correction, and the eternal existence of mankind as immortal and incorruptible.  Other descendants from Adam (we say, Patriarchs) also served as priests, rulers and spokespersons (we say, prophets) from GOD.  However, as portrayed in the account of Abel and Cain—both sons of Adam, who worshiped the same “one true GOD”—error, lack of sacred knowledge, murder, pride, sin and unacceptable worship continued to spread among mankind.  Responding to Abraham and others, GOD chose to create Israel as a nation that would be in a permanent relationship with divinity through divine love, sacred law, judgment, promise, and prophecy.  Seven nations had been in covenant before the tribes of Jacob were chosen; and all were judged by GOD as “worthy of destruction” (i.e., to be totally removed from existence upon the earth).  The seven all had betrayed GOD through practices that included backsliding, blasphemy, idolatry, impenitence, irreverence, treachery, false worship as well as the worship of demons and devils.  Here are a few points from the holy writings that may make some of this clearer for you:

(1.)  Leviticus 18:  2-4, King James Version (KJV):  2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the LORD your God.  3 After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do:  and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do:  neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.  4 Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein:  I am the LORD your God.

(2.)  Ezekiel 20:  13-17, KJV:  13 But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness:  they walked not in my statutes, and they despised my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; and my sabbaths they greatly polluted:  then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them.  14 But I wrought for my name’s sake, that it should not be polluted before the heathen, in whose sight I brought them out.  15 Yet also I lifted up my hand unto them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands;  16 Because they despised my judgments, and walked not in my statutes, but polluted my sabbaths:  for their heart went after their idols.  17 Nevertheless mine eye spared them from destroying them, neither did I make an end of them in the wilderness.

(3.)  1st Corinthians 1:  18-21, KJV:  18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.  19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.  20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?  21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

(4.)  1st Corinthians 1:  26-31, KJV:  26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:  27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;  28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:  29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.  30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:  31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

(5.)  Revelation 1:  1-3, KJV:  1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:  2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.  3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein:  for the time is at hand.

There are many other Scriptures that should be carefully considered, correctly understood, and made a permanent part of ones own sacred knowledge.  (For example, (6.)  Revelation 9:  17-21, KJV:  17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone:  and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.  18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.  19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails:  for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.  20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood:  which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:  21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith, sacred knowledge, and the continuing operations of GOD for your perfection.
