Today, reply is on the sacred knowledge and process among Christian believers whereby Jesus Christ is accepted as having been approved of GOD. Believers in Jesus as their Redeemer and Savior choose to exist as life companions to immortal, incorruptible divinity. Thus, it is written: 1st John 5: 1-10, King James Version (KJV): 1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? 6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. 7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. 9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. 10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. How do we know that Jesus had God’s approval?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray. And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering. And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias: Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem. But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him. And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said. While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud. And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. And when the voice was past, Jesus was found alone. And they kept it close, and told no man in those days any of those things which they had seen. (Luke 9: 28-36, King James Version, KJV)

Brother Virgil”, because Christians are to “know” by faith, by works, and by the seals divinity places upon them, here are some points on divine fullness (i.e., Deity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) from the Bible along with some of the ideas I would pass on to my own sons and heirs:

1. Acts 2: 22-24, King James Version (KJV): 22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: 23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: 24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

2. The appearance of divinity on the earth as Jesus Christ using flesh and the form of mankind (we say, the Incarnation) requires (1) humanity that is authentic through birth, aging, suffering, death, resurrection, and final judgment; (2) a display of personhood that is genuine through patterns of appetite, awareness, emotion, independence, mind, sensation, and finite self-will (willpower); (3) a recognizable endowment of life essence (we say, breath; spirit; word) imparted to mankind from the substance of the Creator as well as (4) a continuous presentation of the inseparable meanings, standards, and values that project a visible image of GOD who is immortal, incorruptible, and invisible.

3. Isaiah 55: 10-12, KJV: 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. 12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

4. Accord among the Godhead acknowledges multiple streams of sacred substance that express divine prerogative, eternal purpose, truth, and sovereign will. Included are faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

5. Deuteronomy 18: 21-22, KJV: 21 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? 22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

6. Romans 14: 17-19, KJV: 17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. 18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men. 19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

7. Assurances, discernment of divine presence, and “knowing” (i.e., being certain; being convicted; being sure) emerge by the continuity, confluence, exchange, and interaction of diverse elements describing godly consciousness. Included are doctrine, sacred events (we say, miracles), sacred law, sacred practices (we say, sacraments), praise, prayer, promises, prophecy, oral traditions, spiritual songs, and holy writings.

8. John 14: 10-12, KJV: 10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake. 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

9. All who are turned to divinity for sacred knowledge in place of finite human information and secular knowledge are in a process with GOD to receive conclusive declaration following ongoing service. Believers are to watch, wait, witness, and work as divinity provides expressions of consecration (we say, grace, faith, patience, revelation).

10. Ezekiel 12: 22-27, KJV: 22 Son of man, what is that proverb that ye have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are prolonged, and every vision faileth? 23 Tell them therefore, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision. 24 For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel. 25 For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD. 26 Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying. 27 Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, The vision that he seeth is for many days to come, and he prophesieth of the times that are far off. 28 Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord GOD.

11. Things known by faith are to become affirmed on the basis of their completion; their fulfillment; the appearance of peace as the resolution of conflict and the settlement of disputes through the application of sacred law; the disclosure of immutable conditions and unchanging operations that will remain unseen, yet, have existed before the foundation of heaven and earth; and the things proclaimed and possible with GOD being made actual before the living.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 12. Correctly understood, the device of father/son relationship is used to establish a consciousness of divine process that is to be fruitful among created beings and living creatures. There are no issues of conflicting authorities, persons within the Godhead opposing one another, or multiple deities requiring each other’s actions and approval to manifest their own personhood. Also, 13. John 10: 17-18, KJV: 17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. 18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, reply is on some of the ways prophecies are used in divine process. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Blue Ridge” (Level 1 with 7 points, a member since January 05, 2019) posted the following:

Bible Prophecies Fulfilled?

Old Testament prophecies concerning the coming of the Messiah were fulfilled by Christ to the smallest possible detail. What makes you think the remaining prophecies will not come to pass, even if all remaining prophecies occur after our death?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things. But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. (Mark 13: 21-27, King James Version, KJV)

Blue Ridge”, here are some thoughts many of us overlook that I would like to share on the use of prophecies by GOD, signs, and the process of divinity to maintain created beings and living creatures in ongoing relationship. Prophecy is about proclaiming divine prerogative; sacred intent; eternal purpose; and the revelation of divinity that makes GOD knowable, known, accessible, and approachable along with the otherwise invisible, sovereign will of GOD. Many developing Christians continue the error that prophecy is about foretelling human events, and predicting future actions that will be taken by divinity. Mature Christian believers acknowledge that prophecy, like sacred law, is the expression of the will of GOD, and therefore, an appearance of the active presence who is divine fullness. Prophecy from divinity may serve as admonition or warning; assurance; instruction; a pledge or oath; an evidence or earnest (down-payment) that promise will be fulfilled; a memorial; a testimony; and as witness in divine judgment. The process of prophecy often uses prophetic demonstrations carried out by anointed spokespersons. Also, the completion and fulfillment of specific actions or events may be requested from GOD by a believer (e.g., a king; a priest; a mother who will give birth to a prophet) that then will serve as indicators and signs that a major prophecy definitely will be fulfilled although there might be a long waiting period. Signs are not expiration dates, nor do they show an exact day or hour for a prophecy to be completed. Even so, they are deliberate and willful responses by GOD. Many of those prophecies we speak of as fulfilled, in fact, have been signs that certify the unfilled prophecies are authentic, and genuine operations from divinity. Consider again the following that uses examples found in the Bible:

1. Joshua 4: 5-7, King James Version (KJV): 5 And Joshua said unto them, Pass over before the ark of the LORD your God into the midst of Jordan, and take you up every man of you a stone upon his shoulder, according unto the number of the tribes of the children of Israel: 6 That this may be a sign among you, that when your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean ye by these stones? 7 Then ye shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD; when it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off: and these stones shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel for ever.

2. Isaiah 7: 10-15, KJV: 10 Moreover the LORD spake again unto Ahaz, saying, 11 Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above. 12 But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the LORD. 13 And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also? 14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. 15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

3. Isaiah 38: 4-8, KJV: 4 Then came the word of the LORD to Isaiah, saying, 5 Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years. 6 And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city. 7 And this shall be a sign unto thee from the LORD, that the LORD will do this thing that he hath spoken; 8 Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. 1st Corinthians 14: 1-5, KJV: 1 Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy. 2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. 3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. 4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church. 5 I would that ye all spake with tongues but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Messiah-anointed one

Messiah – Christ – “anointed one”

Today, the reply acknowledges that the Messiah promised from GOD has appeared in the person of Jesus Christ; also, Judaism and the process of full divine revelation are briefly considered along with the workings of sacred spirit imparted to Christian believers from the makeup of full divinity. Included are faith, holiness, joy, lovingkindness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Carnal history, secular events and eye-witness accounts that fulfill divine proclamations, promises, and prophecies recorded in the holy writings are not the primary anchor of Christian belief. The active presence of the Holy Spirit itself is received as a fresh endowment of life essence from the makeup of GOD that establishes certain knowledge, and conviction for all sacred truth. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Hindusufi” (Level 7 with 66,245 points, a member since April 09, 2011) posted the following:

Do you agree, the real Messiah is only for Jews and has yet to make an appearance?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ. (John 1: 40-41, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: GOD Is With Us (03/15/2019); Faith Throughout the Scriptures? (01/04/2019); Sinners Must Become Convicted (11/27/2018); Christ Rejected By Pharisees? (06/17/2018); Called “The Anointed One” (05/08/2018); Sadducees and The Cross? (03/13/2016); Convicted By His Humility (09/10/2015); A Need to Know? (09/04/2013); How To Have Conviction (11/24/2012); A Text for Lives Today? (11/25/2012)

Hindusufi”, it is an aspect of full faith within most mature Christians that Jesus already has appeared among mankind as the Messiah promised from divinity who would rule over the people of GOD upon the earth. In agreement with the truth that GOD is immutable and unchanging, the operations and process of GOD include the use of diversity and one-time events that may be displayed through different presentations to establish their continuing presence and value. There are multiple streams of sacred truth recorded in the holy writings that include proclamations, promises, and prophecy concerning Messiah. The earliest is acknowledged as the assurances granted to Adam, the first pair; is continued in the vision and covenant relationship bestowed on Abraham as the Friend of God; appears in the promise to David of dynasty and inheritance; are seen in promises of relief and restoration following captivity and exile; and provide details of the end time, of the apocalypse, and of eternal life. The revelation of divinity using human flesh to be visible and knowable on the earth (we say, the Incarnation) begins in the accounts of Creation, where life essence (we say, breath; spirit; word) from the makeup of divinity is imparted to a form fashioned to exist as a companion to immortal, incorruptible GOD. Communication, exchange and interaction with the Creator became possible for mankind through the deposit of inseparable divine substance. Included were faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. The tribes of Jacob were already acknowledged by GOD as his “son,” and were the property of Pharaoh as all the land, its livestock, and the people. When Moses led the twelve tribes and a multitude from the Gentile nations out of Egypt, the Hebrews were being separated to serve as a nation on the earth under the dominion of the living GOD. They also were chosen to serve as caretakers and priests entrusted with divine oracles, sacred law, and holy sacraments. Those who are born again, and receive sacred knowledge, rather than worldly and secular knowledge, must “grow up again;” and by their indwelling spirit will be made able to discern and recognize correctly the spiritual events fulfilling the promises and prophecies regarding the Messiah. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Genesis 3: 8-15, King James Version (KJV): 8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. 9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? 10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. 11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? 12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. 13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. 14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

2. Numbers 23: 19, KJV: 19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

3. Daniel 9: 21-27, KJV: 21 Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. 22 And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding. 23 At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision. 24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. 25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. 26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. 27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

4. 1st John 2: 22-28, KJV: 22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [but] he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. 24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. 25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. 26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. 27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. 28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 5. 1st John 5: 10-12, KJV: 10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Depiction of Jesus Acknowleding His Divine Anointing

The painting depicts the first acknowledgement of Jesus of his divine anointing as the promised Messiah.

Today, reply is on why Jesus is called “Christ” [Greek, Khristos; Latin, Christus].  The word origin is traced to 12th century usage of Christ as “the anointed one” associated with khriein [anoint].  (See Encarta ® World English Dictionary © & (P) 1998-2005 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.)  Multiple proclamations, promises, and prophecies throughout the holy writings speak to mankind receiving divine deliverance, governance, judgment, restoration, and salvation through a single, permanent, consecrated ruler.  On the basis of faith and other imparted spirit content he displayed while ministering on the earth, Jesus of Nazareth is acknowledged as the fulfillment of all those eternal purposes for mankind and Creation that had been gradually revealed over the course of thousands of years.  One of the many fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” Religion and Spirituality forum who use the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shown) posted the following:

Why was Jesus called Christ?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.  Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks:  the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.  And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself:  and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.  And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week:  and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.  (Daniel 9:  24-27, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  His Enemies A Footstool (05/08/2018); Christianity Is A Relationship (04/05/2018); Christ Is The Firstborn (12/26/2017); Jesus Called “Almighty GOD?” (12/21/2017); As An Anointed Body (10/04/2017); The Title of “Savior” (01/27/2017); Exalted By The Father? (01/26/2017); Become Like Jesus Christ? (10/27/2016)

“Anonymous”, Christians are those committed to apprehending a mature relationship with divinity through Jesus Christ who has been anointed by Almighty GOD to serve as a cornerstone to a divine temple, an immortal high priest, judge, king, prophet, savior, shepherd, and steward.  The operations of divine fullness (we say, the GODhead; the Trinity; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) to overspread the earth with sacred government using mankind has required multiple consecrated devices.  Included have been family and patriarchs; covenants and divine law; kingdoms and monarchs; personhood and incarnation; priesthood; promises; sacrifice and suffering.

For the benefit and perfection of created beings and living creatures, divinity has appeared and imparts (we say, displays; reveals) sacred knowledge and spirit content (i.e., the inseparable aspects of divine character and makeup) that establish the image of GOD who is spirit.  Included are authority, balance, dominion, faith, forbearance, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, restraint, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Fragrant oil that lingers in a room after its bearer has gone is used to depict the active, invisible presence of divine spirit.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Psalms 45:  6-8, King James Version (KJV):  6 Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever:  the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.  7 Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness:  therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.  8 All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.

(2.)  Isaiah 11:  1-5, KJV:  1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:  2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;  3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD:  and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:  4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth:  and he shall smite the earth:  with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.  5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

(3.)  Luke 4:  14-21, KJV:  14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee:  and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.  15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.  16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.  17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,  18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,  19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.  20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.  21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

(4.)  John 18:  33-38, KJV:  33 Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews?  34 Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me?  35 Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me:  what hast thou done?  36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world:  if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews:  but now is my kingdom not from hence.  37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.  38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  2nd Corinthians 1:  21-22, KJV:  21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;  22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Rule-in-the-midst-of-Your-enemiesPsalm-110-1–2

Today, reply is on recognizing the fulfillment of Bible prophecies.  Just as the intent and meaning of prophecy is apprehended through faith, the fulfillment of prophecy must be apprehended through faith.  The aspects of divine revelation for mankind may all be understood as the imparting of spirit substance from the makeup of GOD as active presence and as utterance (word).  Included are divine commandments and law; sacred doctrine; guidance; instruction; praise; promise; prophecy; rebirth; and wisdom.  Together, the many prophecies contained in the holy writings are particularly important, for they also describe covenants and interactions among the persons of divine fullness (we say, within the GODhead; among the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) that are depicted and mirrored within the covenants with mankind on the earth.  Following completion of various works to establish the new creation, the Son of the Highest, who now is seated on the throne of grace, will be seated on the throne of glory; and Christ will be acknowledged for his works establishing the perfection of all things by the Father, the Holy Spirit, and all created beings and living creatures.  One of the fighters within the “Yahoo! Answers” forum who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shown) posted the following:

“Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”? Prophecy?
Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool of your feet is supposed to be prophecy in Psalm. But all i see in the NT Jesus was stripped naked And tortured to death.

How is that?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.  And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?  Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin:  but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.  (John 9:  39-41, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  GOD’s Will Be Done (04/27/2018); The Child Of Prophecy (04/15/2018); Yes, Jesus Did Die (04/01/2018); The Coming(s) of Christ (03/11/2018); Jesus Came To Fulfill? (01/16/2018); From Glory to Glory (11/14/2017); Waiting On The Lord? (06/16/2017); Fulfilling Divine Law? (07/14/2015)

“Anonymous”, among Christian believers, continuous study of the holy writings reveal that the operation and process of prophecy are not mind-reading, nor predicting future events so much as the declaration of divine law, sacred principles, eternal purposes, unchanging proclamations and promises from divinity, and demonstrations that serve as non-verbal displays for admonition, cautions, and reminders.  As a feature in sacred communication that expresses the authority, heart, mind, and sovereign will of GOD, prophecy is no less required among believers than covenant relationship for mankind, the imparting to sinners who are born again inseparable aspects of the divine makeup, and the continued existence of divine order throughout the universe.

Invisible, unseen divinity who is spirit must be apprehended by created beings and living creatures in the terms of various actions by spirit substance, for GOD is a spirit who makes himself knowable, known, accessible, and approachable using things he has put forth that are carnal, material, social, and visible, yet, that respond to imperatives of divine will.  The frameworks of secular knowledge, time, and space relied on by the living on the earth do not serve as defining limits for prophecy.  Nor is it necessary to introduce prophecy with a catch phrase such as, “I promise,” or “it will come to pass.”  Prophecy must be “discerned” (i.e., spirit substance from divinity must be used as a standard to identify the sacred content of events, oneself, other persons, the holy writings, etc.) and complemented by sacred knowledge.

The ministry of Jesus on the earth has fulfilled many of the promises recorded in the Scriptures, however, the divine work by Christ is not concluded.  In addition to completing as High Priest the ministry of atonement and cleansing the Sanctuary in heaven, the Savior will complete judgment of those who will be ripe for harvest at his Second Coming, finish building the holy city (New Jerusalem) as well as prepare and complete tribunals for the wicked and their elimination (the second death).  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Numbers 11:  24-30, King James Version (KJV):  24 And Moses went out, and told the people the words of the LORD, and gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people, and set them round about the tabernacle.  25 And the LORD came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders:  and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease.  26 But there remained two of the men in the camp, the name of the one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad:  and the spirit rested upon them; and they were of them that were written, but went not out unto the tabernacle:  and they prophesied in the camp.  27 And there ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp.  28 And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, one of his young men, answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them.  29 And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? would God that all the LORD’s people were prophets, and that the LORD would put his spirit upon them!  30 And Moses gat him into the camp, he and the elders of Israel.

(2.)  1st Corinthians 14:  1-6, KJV:  1 Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy. 5 I would that ye all spake with tongues but rather that ye prophesied:  for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.  6 Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  1st Peter 1:  3-16, KJV:  3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,  4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,  5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.  6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:  7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:  8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:  9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.  10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:  11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.  12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.  13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;  14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:  15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;  16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Peter Sword

The image depicts the hand of Jesus restraining the hand of Peter.

Today, reply is on the acknowledgement of covenant and law by Jesus Christ, and his surrender to the mob sent to arrest him at Gethsemane.  Jesus was among those within the Garden as an Incarnation of divinity to fulfill the promises and prophesies of GOD, a priest, a prophet, a rabbi, and the “ram caught in the thicket.”  Rather than resist the arrest, fight against the force that was dispatched, or take flight, Jesus acknowledged that his role was to submit as a lamb that would be placed on the altar of sacrifice.  When Peter attacked using a sword, Jesus rebuked him, and healed the servant of the High Priest whose ear Peter had cut off.  The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” forum who uses the ID “?” (Level 6 with 14,244 points, a member since April 16, 2017) posted the following:

If someone told Jesus what was going to happen to him, and gave him a gun, would he have tried to escape?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:  Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity.  And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.  And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.  So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.  As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.  Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;  Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;  And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;  Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.  (Hebrews 5:  1-10, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Yes, Jesus Did Die (04/01/2018); His Suffering At Gethsemane (03/12/2018); Jesus Demonstrated Perfected Humanity (10/29/2017); The Cross was Premature? (04/07/2016); Animals Do Not Sin? (09/29/2013); GOD is Acknowledging (09/30/2013); The Passion at Gethsemane (03/28/2013); Separated and Sealed? (03/29/2013)

“?”, Christian believers are to understand Jesus correctly knew that he himself was a child of prophecy, and that he was anointed and ordained to complete the events of his life that included his death, burial, and resurrection from the dead.  Through the holy writings, through the events surrounding his birth (e.g., the slaughter of the innocents by King Herod; the Temple prophets Anna and Simeon), through the challenge made by Satan following his water baptism (turn this stone into bread), through the confirmations he received through prayer, and through many other sacred events that served as signs, he was strengthened to continue his ministry on the earth as one having authentic humanity, as one sent from GOD, and as one who would suffer the same fate as many others who served as divine prophets and spokespersons.

The revelation of GOD granted to Moses was that the Creator and Deliverer is also a GOD of Judgment.  Moses was allowed to see his glory, and Jesus Christ came as the image of GOD to further display the forgiveness, the mercy, the obedience, the reconciliation, the righteousness, and the surrender that pertain to divine judgment.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Matthew 23:  29-39, King James Version (KJV):  29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,  30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.  31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.  32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.  33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?  34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes:  and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:  35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.  36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.  37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!  38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.  39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

(2.)  John 18:  3- 13, KJV:  3 Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons.  4 Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?  5 They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.  6 As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.  7 Then asked he them again, Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth.  8 Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he:  if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way:  9 That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none.  10 Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest’s servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.  11 Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath:  the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?  12 Then the band and the captain and officers of the Jews took Jesus, and bound him,  13 And led him away to Annas first; for he was father in law to Caiaphas, which was the high priest that same year.

(3.)  Matthew 16:  21-28, KJV:  21 From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.  22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord:  this shall not be unto thee.  23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me:  for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.  24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.  25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it:  and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.  26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?  27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.  28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Matthew 26:  52-54, KJV:  52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place:  for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.  53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?  54 But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Acknowledging the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, today, reply about the death of Jesus must be sacred truth proclaimed and shared even to disbelievers, sinners, and skeptics who do not understand the need for divine atonement and propitiation for the sin of mankind on the earth.  Without the death and resurrection of Jesus all doctrine and teaching among Christians would be vain (i.e., empty; lacking sacred substance; having no power to cleanse, heal, provide hope, sanctify and save).  By appearing from heaven incarnate on the earth, Jesus willingly became vulnerable to death, pain, and human suffering.  Divinity has been joined to mankind using flesh so that mankind may be joined to divinity using spirit.  One of the many fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” forum who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

Did Jesus die for us or did he cheat death for us?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.  Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him.  But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs:  But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.  And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true:  and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.  (John 19:  31-35, King James Version, KJV)

“Anonymous”, divinity (we say, the GODhead; the Trinity; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) may only become knowable, known, accessible, and approachable to living creatures and created beings by acts of grace, personhood, holy presence, divine sacrifice, truth, and revelation.  The answers mature Christian believers must make to you will all be expressions of faith, sacred knowledge, and spirit substance imparted to believers from the divine fullness we call “GOD”.  For this reason, what they speak and write will go beyond academic studies, ancient histories, a morbid focus on death and dying, conspiracies among churchmen, underhanded political schemes, and secular knowledge.

Even developing believers will focus on the fulfillment of divine promises, prophecy, and eternal purpose.  That GOD has made himself manifest as Jesus Christ appearing in human form, and using flesh and blood, does not contradict or violate the integrity of the holy writings that record the operations of divinity through thousands of events within thousands of lives over the course of thousands of years.  In Christian understanding, the divine actualities and possibilities for mankind that have been imparted and provided by Deity are demonstrated in the birth, ministry, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus.  Jesus lived on the earth to display authentic humanity that has required a condition of mortality since the time of Adam (the first pair).  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Isaiah 53:  4-9, King James Version (KJV):  4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows:  yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.  5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities:  the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.  6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.  7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth:  he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.  8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living:  for the transgression of my people was he stricken.  9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

(2.)  Romans 5:  1-9, KJV:  1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:  2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.  3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also:  knowing that tribulation worketh patience;  4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:  5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.  6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.  7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die:  yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.  8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  1st Corinthians 15:  12-22, KJV:  12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?  13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:  14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.  15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ:  whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.  16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:  17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.  18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.  19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.  20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.  21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.  22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
