UNCLE-SAM-PRAYING

Today, guidance and thoughts are shared on oppression, persecution, and suffering endured by followers of Jesus Christ. Spiritual discernment must be used to obtain relief from persecution, and to recognize and respond to the victory of Jesus Christ over persecution. Governments may operate as a godlike, invincible, all powerful, unseen actor. Persecution occurs as a conflict among two or more powerful belief systems (e.g., a religious and a government power). More than simply bribery, petty crimes, dishonest behavior, and misrepresentation by individual sinners who work in government should come into view, for during persecution official policies and procedures are altered in order to systematically destroy and suppress alternative belief systems. As a form of belief system themselves, nations and states are vulnerable to manipulation by religious powers because, only by abiding in obedience and genuine respect to godly law do nations escape confusion, self-destruction, ruin, and sin. The Constitution of the United States extends freedom of conscience to those acknowledging Jesus Christ as their Savior as well as to those who are atheists, to disbelievers in Christianity, to Satanists, and to those committed to other belief systems and forms of faith. Even so, all Americans are held to the same standards for co-existence, peaceful exchange, public order, and shared respect. When Christians focus more on tribulation spoken of in prophecy, rather than on the soon coming of Christ, many are quick to sound an alarm against persecution. Developing Christians, and those who are not members of the church, complain and make false accusations that the church is now enduring persecution and suffering; and they protest that the church will not be able to survive within the present World system that relies on carnal reason, philosophy, science, secular knowledge, technology, and violence. While the church is to be vigilant, life experience on the earth demands that the living regularly engage in meaningful activity, be nourished, work, and rest. That we exist within communities composed of multiple ethnic groups, of those who use different languages, and of those on varying levels of economic, intellectual, and social growth is not a condition of oppression and persecution. That we as individuals are not immediately rewarded or shown favor for every act of kindness we perform; that we encounter seasons of hardship; that we must go to school and pay for education, tools, and training; that we are required to work long hours; and will be held accountable for finding and maintaining necessary food, shelter, and clean water for ourselves, family, or other companions are not examples of persecution or suffering. Neither is it persecution that many of us come under obligation to fulfill unpleasant duties; are pressured to divulge secrets and speak truth continually; and may daily come under various forms of challenge, judgment, review and testing. It is written: Galatians 4: 28-29, King James Version (KJV): 28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. 29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined. For the wicked boasteth of his hearts desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth. The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts. His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them. He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity. His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity. He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor. He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net. He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones. He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it. Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble. (Psalms 10: 2-12, KJV)

Cases of persecution on the earth must be tried in the higher courts of heaven. Ordinarily, we think of government and religion as contrary to one another, and like oil and water, should not be mixed. In the same way “hate crimes” are easy to recognize, yet are very difficult to prosecute in courts on the earth, government damage by offenses against divinity and from “persecution” may be strongly felt by Christian believers and throughout a community of faith, yet, credible cases and claims demanding relief are difficult to bring before the courts maintained among mankind. Mature Christian believers acknowledge persecution as more than simple human bullying, meddling, incompetence, or hidden interpersonal conflict anchored in the meanness, exaggerated pride, and selfishness existing between individuals who are known to one another. During periods of persecution, confusion, deceit, distrust, fear, helplessness, and hopelessness may prevail. Thrusts that on surface are acceptable, justified and legitimate are made against the continued existence of divine law, against operations of the Holy Spirit, and against the church as a living sacred presence.

When there is persecution, a strong religious coalition influences, manipulates, and uses human government as a tool to suppress the doctrine, growth, and practice of other religious groups. Persecution is a form of widespread lawlessness that encourages bias, despair, discrimination, inequality, irreverence, prejudice, and racism. To disrupt ongoing operations of a targeted assembly, the government is used to cover up and disguise malfeasance and fraud, decree malicious legislation, authorize excessive law enforcement practices, pursue espionage, and seize the belongings and property of others. Individuals in positions of authority, leadership and trust within the targeted groups may be assassinated, corrupted, incarcerated, publicly tried and executed, slandered or tortured, and their families may be divided and separated. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Dietrick Haddon with Donnie McClurkin:

(1.) Matthew 5: 10-12, King James Version (KJV): 10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

(2.) 2nd Timothy 3: 12, KJV: 12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

(3.) Acts 13: 49-50, KJV: 49 And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region. 50 But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts.

(4.) Ephesians 6: 10-13, KJV: 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (5.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0GNf6haCIA.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Table of the Temple Moneychanger

The photo depicts the table of the currency exchanger projecting discipline, order, and the “letter of the law” while denying the presence, righteousness, and spirit of the Lawgiver.

Today, reply is on the sacred event wherein Jesus cleansed the temple at Jerusalem by revealing the wrath of GOD against sin.  Jesus had been to the temple many times before as a firstborn son during obligatory feasts and festival days.  This time, his entry into Jerusalem was as head of a new ministry (one that had healed thousands and released others from demons); and he was met by those from many different areas of the nation whose lives he already had touched.  In addition to the ancient message that GOD must be worshipped through obedience to sacred law, Jesus brought the message, GOD must be worshiped in spirit and in truth.  One of the many fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” Religion and Spirituality forum who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile data shared) posted the following:

If Jesus loves sinners then why did he attack money changers?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?  And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.  And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,  And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.  And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.  And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the son of David; they were sore displeased,  And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?  (Matthew 21:  10-16, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  His Enemies A Footstool (04/29/2018); Divine Wrath Against Sin? (10/17/2017); Determining What Is Sin (06/15/2017); Hosanna In The Highest (04/09/2017); Divine Love Seen As Hate? (06/23/2013); Believers and the Cross (06/24/2013)

“Anonymous”, here are some points you may find useful.  Most Christian believers are able to understand that GOD’s love for the sinner is like that of a father’s love for his daughters or sons in spite of their poor grades at school, or their poor performance of chores within the home.  There may be anger, disappointment, and a punishment, yet, the affection and bond of parent and child continues as permanent, stable, and unshaken:

1.  By allowing moneychangers and those selling animals as offerings and sacrifices to be stationed on holy ground, and within the precincts of the temple, non-residents, travelers and folk only passing-through mistakenly were seen as being assisted and encouraged to perform genuine devotion and worship.

2.  The moneychangers and livestock sellers also were seen as officials and authoritative influences within the sacred hierarchy that included only the consecrated Priests, Levites, and saints  (e.g., prophets, sanctified widows, and those under vows such as Anna and Simon).

3.  The lawyers, scribes, factions. and beggars who also were part of the continuing temple community were like the overlay of party officials, politicians, lobbyists, and petitioners in some national capitals who seek to control and direct government, legislation, and public policy, yet have no authority as government employees.

4.  The mandatory feasts and festivals that required all firstborn males and heirs to appear at Jerusalem, also continued the experience of Israel as a people in relationship with divinity as sons of Abraham, as nomads, as pilgrims, and as those seeking the city of GOD.

5.  While Jesus was respected as only having the authority and title of “rabbi”, he performed a cleansing of the temple proclaiming his anointing and authority to be that of a prophet, a judge, a king, a son of Abraham, the heir of David, and the promised Messiah.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, 6.  Jesus did not display anger, temporal feelings of hatred, or behavior that was a momentary, interpersonal response to disrespect, an insult, or some act of rudeness that could be easily dismissed, forgiven, and forgotten.  Jesus displayed and revealed jealousy, zeal, and the character, makeup and substance of GOD directed against blasphemy, defilement, idolatry, impenitence, and irreverence—we say, the wrath against sin that is a perpetual aspect within the full GODhead.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, focus is on emotional, psychological and spiritual survival through Christian worship among all those of the African Diaspora (we say, Blacks).  Where bitterness, fear, resentment and suicide will acknowledge and install an enemy as the supreme power over your life, reverence to the Creator, and oneness without sameness through Jesus Christ accomplish freedom, invincibility, and eternal life.  Despite abuse, oppression and suffering, many continue to successfully struggle for life because they also receive healing, power, and relief as the offspring and heirs of the Creator.  Through various divine gifts and provisions, awareness and self-will within the living are supplied with sacred direction, futurity, perseverance, possibility, and the vision required for continuous existence, presence, purpose, and sacred relationship.  Those choosing to be enemies on the basis of ethnicity and race not only call forth damnation and hellfire, they also deprive themselves of an excellent friend (it is written:  Proverbs 8:  36, King James Version (KJV):  36 But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul:  all they that hate me love death.).  The fighter at “Yahoo! Why are black Christians so joyful when they worship God?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.  And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people:  all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed.  I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.  For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.  (Isaiah 61:  8-11, King James Version, KJV)

“Breakthrough”, the inner spirit must be kept alive for there to be “survival”.  Many mature Christians will agree that “to worship” is to acknowledge and respond to divine revelation provided through such mechanisms as discovery, divine law, praise, prophecy, sacrifice, sacred promise, self-government, and suffering.  All who are treated as despised, marginal, and misfits realize they are part of the “mainstream” when turning to GOD.  Even so, oppressive economic, political, and social systems continue to exist around the world that foster bias, discrimination, hate, and prejudice.  Public markets in Europe selling men, women and children from the continent of Africa were begun and firmly in place 50 years before Columbus in 1492 sought a new route (not a New World) to the wealth of spices and slaves from the East.  Because of the mindset that says, It is just good business, it was made acceptable and “normal” to speak of Blacks as chattel, goods, and a disposable commodity.

The mechanisms for genuine survival of all Black peoples and many others enduring life as members of a minority group (e.g., native Americans, Orientals) have had to address a broad range of meanings, needs, life purposes, and values.  The comprehensive frameworks for Christian belief have provided much of the necessary structure and flexibility to identify and isolate many of the most import features for a true commitment to life rather than death.  Included are anticipation (we say, holding to the energy and excitement of expectation; hope); becoming reconciled to higher things yet giving the appearance of accepting or agreeing with base things that are totally disgusting and reprehensible; defiance; deliverance; disguise; escape; misdirection; and the violence of righteous judgment.  Make-believe, fantasy and pretending are useless as mechanisms to bring about change.  Devices promoting deceit and lies (e.g., betrayal, boasting, gossip, slander) only ensure the destruction of the intimate relationships critical to survival (e.g., friendships, family, marriage, parenting).

In the worship of Black Christians, sinners are to see the otherwise invisible victory of mankind over the many obstacles to existence and peace such as arrogance, death, depression, ignorance, malice, poverty, and sin.  Believers are to receive inseparable aspects from the spirit makeup of divinity that are immutable, incorruptible, and unchanging.  There should be faith, forbearance, gratitude, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, meekness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  In their homes, lifestyles, places for study, prayer, and reflection, rules and standards will be in effect that counterbalance anger, condemnation, self-destruction, despair, and self-pity.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Mark 8:  34-38, King James Version (KJV):  34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.  35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it.  36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?  37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?  38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

(2.)  Ephesians 4:  25-27, KJV:  25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour:  for we are members one of another.  26 Be ye angry, and sin not:  let not the sun go down upon your wrath:  27 Neither give place to the devil.  28 Let him that stole steal no more:  but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.  29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.  30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.  31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:  32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

(3.)  Psalms 66:  1-4, KJV:  1 Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands:  2 Sing forth the honour of his name:  make his praise glorious.  3 Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.  4 All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Psalms 100:  1-5, KJV:  1 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.  2 Serve the LORD with gladness:  come before his presence with singing.  3 Know ye that the LORD he is God:  it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.  4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise:  be thankful unto him, and bless his name.  5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, focus is on accord, conformity, and oneness without sameness.  Ministry of oneself and the gifts from GOD to others must come into view.  Divine disfavor that results from human errors such as denial of holy matrimony, divorce, enmity, hate, and unrestrained lust can be avoided.  Sinners are challenged to enter into an agreement (we also say, commitment, covenant, testament of blood) with divinity that establishes them in a relationship of repentance and turning away from sin.  In addition to refusing to further transgress divine law (i.e., commit sin), those who become born-again are to strive to be like Jesus Christ, “the way, the truth, and the life.”  Not only are his deeds and works to be copied or repeated, the precepts, principles, values  and the sacred Spirit shown in his life and ministry also are to appear within our own lives.  As much as possible, believers should conform to divine standards as seen within the church, and show themselves to be a new creation through Jesus Christ by their lifestyle and regular living routines.  With this in view, conforming to Christ and behaving with the integrity of new men and women before GOD should even be seen in the healthy romantic relationships and innocent sexual behavior of a developing believer.  What begins as an necessary exploration of ones own body and feelings must mature to become affirmation, giving, restraint, and full sharing.  There is never a place for bitterness, exaggerated pride, nastiness, resentment, selfishness, and violence.  One of the fighters at “Yahoo! Answers (Malaysia)” using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information appears) posted the following:

Should we hate what God hates or can we feel our own way about it, all while being a good Christian?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.  For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away:  for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts:  therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.  Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?  (Malachi 2:  15-17, King James Version, KJV)

“Anonymous”, among mature Christian believers, sinners are to become as much like Christ as possible (before the end of the world as we now know it.)  The process of GOD for cleansing, healing, and recovering the Creation from sin is understood as having multiple levels of divine action and works.  GOD must make divinity knowable, known, and “visible” to created beings and living creatures (we say, there must be revelation); the separation of the living and the divine must be reduced; divinity must appear using familiar forms and material (i.e., there must be Incarnation); there must be fixed standards that express the heart and mind of divinity (we say, there must be “sacred knowledge” as well as divine law); and there must be willing responses by the living to the things from GOD.  While GOD is to be respected as a sovereign who is immutable and unchanging, and who can not be influenced or manipulated, without describing emotions and sentiment, the holy writings indicate that there can be sorrow and weeping in heaven that are temporal (i.e., that occur over a measurable period).  Just as there may be rejoicing for those who return to GOD through Jesus Christ, there can be sorrowing in response to seeing damage and loss in the lives of those in communion with heaven through the divine ministries.  To seek to know GOD, then, includes sharing a full range of life experience with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit that includes death, error, rejection, rejoicing, suffering, and eternal life.  Through rebirth (we say, being “born again, and growing up again”), the living receive inseparable aspects of spirit content from the makeup of GOD, and it is possible for them to endure as children and heirs of GOD.  Included are balance, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Conforming to divine standards instead of carnal, material, secular, and social standards requires permanent changes within ones awareness and self-will.  Consider the following:

(1.)  Romans 12:  1-9, King James Version (KJV):  1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.  2 And be not conformed to this world:  but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.  3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.  4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:  5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.  6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;  7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering:  or he that teacheth, on teaching;  8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation:  he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.  9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

(2.)  Romans 8:  28-30, KJV:  28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.  29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.  30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called:  and whom he called, them he also justified:  and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Philippians 3:  7-14, KJV:  7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.  8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord:  for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,  9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:  10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;  11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.  12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect:  but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.  13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended:  but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,  14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, focus is on “extreme” divine demands and language that appear within the Bible.  While the Scriptures proclaim the love of our Creator they also must express censure, reprimand, and wrath against sin.  “New wine” must be placed in “new bottles.”  The transformation of mankind to exist without sin as a companion to immortal, incorruptible divinity requires permanent changes in the makeup of all created beings and living creatures as well as the entire universe (heaven, earth, and all that will exist).  The Bible records the revelation from GOD provided to explain, instruct, and prepare mankind for the necessary sacred operations that now are occurring and will be completed at their appointed time.  Along with the serious themes of covenant relationship, death, decay, and destruction aspects for the new creation are shared such as admonition, comfort, oneness without sameness, promises, prophecy, and warning.  Also included are atonement, adoption of the Spirit, Incarnation, inheritance, Judgment, rebirth, resurrection of the dead, sanctification, and the second death.  One of the many fighters at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information appears) posted the following:

Is Luke 14:26 considered an extravagant statement that’s not intended to be taken rationally?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And there went great multitudes with him:  and he turned, and said unto them,  If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.  And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.  (Luke 14:  25-27, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  The Quality of Life? (03/29/2017); What Does Divinity Want? (03/13/2017); The Complete Divine Revelation? (03/10/2017); On Accepting Divine Judgment (02/26/2017); The Relationships With GOD? (11/30/2016); Choice, Duty, and Obligation? “Anonymous”, many statements appear in the Scriptures that may seem “extreme” and startling; however, the rule, “no cross, no crown” (i.e., that every Christian believer must suffer with Christ) is basic and nonnegotiable.  When sinners first begin to read the Bible, their spirit content from GOD is not properly prepared to acknowledge the full spectrum of godliness, sacred knowledge and  spirit truth that are being shared.  The simple, yet, profound process of becoming a Christian believer is one wherein a person’s consciousness and self-will that are directed to things carnal, material, secular, and social will be redirected and gradually built up to consistently discern and respond to the active presence who is GOD.  Even after water baptism, that depicts the death, burial and resurrection of their inborn spirit, born-again sinners must “grow up again” and become mature by regular fellowship with other believers, practice of sacraments, praise, prayer, sacrifice, sharing, study of the holy writings, suffering, unselfish service, and more.  Consider again the following points of instruction:

(1.)  2nd Timothy 3:  16-17, King James Version (KJV):  16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

(2.)  Matthew 12:  50, KJV:  50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

(3.)  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

(4.)  Hebrews 12:  7-9, KJV:  7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?  8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.  9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence:  shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  Revelation 21:  7-8, KJV:  7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.  8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:  which is the second death.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

how deep the love

Today, focus is upon whether or not GOD “hates” and rejects Jewish people.  Many Christians feel the Jews annulled the covenant of Moses by demanding that the world—symbolized in the Roman governor, Pontius Pilate—condemn and crucify Jesus upon the cross.  Others are convinced that their emphasis as a people has always been upon things carnal, material, and social such that they now are Jews only as an ethnic, political, and secular group that no longer exists as sanctified and set apart under divine law, or covenant with divinity.  Jews, sinners, and unbelievers who reject Jesus do so because they lack experience and sacred knowledge, necessary divine substance from the makeup of GOD (such as faith, holiness, longsuffering, vision, and wisdom), and correct understanding of sacred events, prophecy, and the operations of GOD on behalf of the universe.  Included are definitions, lifestyles, meanings, and values that give expression to the will of GOD, rather than the awareness and self-will of the created beings and living creatures Deity has put forth.  The writer at “Yahoo!7 Answers (Australia)” using the ID “Kishore” (Level 5 with 5,497 points, a member since May 23, 2012) posted the following:

Does God hate Jews because they reject Jesus?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.  Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father:  he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.  Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.  (1st John 2:  22-24, King James Version, KJV)

“Kishore”, no; GOD does not “hate” Jews.  Many mature Christian believers agree that GOD continues to honor his word to Jewish people up to this very hour; however, like others around the world, all Jews do not correctly acknowledge and pursue their proper place with our Creator.  Throughout its history the church of Jesus Christ has been careful to demonstrate and proclaim the commitment and faithfulness of divinity to mankind and all Creation.  The relationships provided for the sons and daughters of Adam upon the earth have included covenant partnership, existence as a divine kingdom, service as priests, prophets, and kings as well as adoption to be children of GOD and heirs of the Father in heaven.  The offspring of Adam and Eve have been given special authority, duties, inheritance, instruction, opportunities, and privileges that supply them with sacred knowledge, divine substance from the makeup of GOD, and distinct practices (we say, sacraments).  As the offspring of Abraham (called “the Friend of GOD”) and his son Isaac, and grandson Jacob, the 12 tribes of Israel were chosen to make divinity knowable and known to all the earth.  While they appear having blessing and favor as a tool for divine revelation, the Jewish people also have been used to demonstrate divine judgment with righteousness, wisdom, and the wrath of GOD against sin.  More importantly, the Jews have served (1) as a device for the appearance of GOD using flesh and blood as a man, Jesus Christ; (2) a mechanism to bring about Christ being destroyed upon the cross as an embodiment of sin (in both cases we say, Incarnation); and (3) a stable framework for the establishment of rebirth, repentance, and “new creation” for mankind through the imparted, indwelling Spirit from GOD (we say, the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth).  Consider again how this is stated using language from the holy writings:

(1.)  Deuteronomy 7:  6-10, King James Version (KJV):  7 The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:  8 But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.  9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;  10 And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them:  he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.

(2.)  Jeremiah 31:  31-33, KJV:  31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:  32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:  33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

(3.)  Romans 10:  2-3, KJV:  2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.  3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

(4.)  Psalms 94:  14-15, KJV:  14 For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.  15 But judgment shall return unto righteousness:  and all the upright in heart shall follow it.

There is far more to be said, carefully examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  Romans 9:  26-33, KJV:  26 And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.  27 Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:  28 For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness:  because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.  29 And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha.  30 What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.  31 But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.  32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;  33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence:  and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

The ancient, yet no less holy, divine name, Jealous, and language to speak of GOD are the focus, today.  Given that jealousy is a carnal attitude and destructive behavior associated with adultery, exaggerated passion, infidelity, and insanity, many are disturbed and embarrassed, rather than admonished and enlightened, when they find that Jealous is a holy name of GOD that also is to be shown full respect and reverence.  GOD proclaims total majesty and sovereignty above all Creation.  However, there are many shared names and roles for the Father and the Son (e.g., Redeemer, Savior) that further affirm their oneness and unity within the fullness of divinity (we say, the GODhead).  Believers are to understand divine love and hate as revealed in righteous judgment; thus, GOD approves constancy, faithfulness and life companionship through marriage, and condemns divorce using strong terms.  Consider again the following from the Bible, and the discussion appearing below:  Isaiah 42:  8-9, King James Version (KJV):  8 I am the LORD:  that is my name:  and my glory will I not give unto another, neither my praise to graven images.  9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare.  Isaiah 48:  9-12, KJV:  9 For my name’s sake will I defer mine anger, and for my praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off.  10 Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.   11 For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it:  for how should my name be polluted?  And I will not give my glory unto another.  12 Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he:  I am the first, I also am the last.  Also, Malachi 2:  14-16, KJV:  14 Yet ye say, Wherefore?  Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth against whom thou hast dealt treacherously:  yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.  15 And did not he make one?  Yet had he the residue of the spirit.  And wherefore one?  That he might seek a godly seed.  Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.  16 For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away:  for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts:  therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Why does God hate other gods if they don’t exist?

And who is he jealous of in calling himself a jealous God?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.  The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked:  the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.  He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers:  Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth.  The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.  Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.  The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.  But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.  What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end:  affliction shall not rise up the second time.  For while they be folden together as thorns, and while they are drunken as drunkards, they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry.  (Nahum 1:  2-10, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Divine Jealousy? (09/11/2015); Meanings That Support Eternal Existence? (06/02/2015); About Knowing the Name of GOD (09/21/2014); About Deluding Yourself? (09/22/2014); Of War and Judgment (10/08/2013); Heart, Brain or Spirit? (10/09/2013)

“El Nerdo Loco”, because GOD is a spirit who is made up only of divine substance and spirit matter, the words we use to describe Deity does not have the same meaning as when we are speaking of others like ourselves.  Thus, words that describe human emotion, feelings, and events among mortal beings (e.g., anger, death, fear, jealousy, love) must be understood as aspects of the divine nature, and sacred operations that effect eternal purposes.  Included are inseparable spirit content and occurrences such as faith, holiness, incarnation, longsuffering, miracles, salvation, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

How divinity is to be known and spoken of (we say, the name of GOD) appears throughout the holy writings in the form of accounts, anecdotes, parables, public records, and eyewitness testimonies.  While some names for GOD acknowledge his exalted sovereignty GOD over all that exists (e.g., him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters) others describe divinity as operating through promise and covenant with mankind (e.g., the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob).  Personal names for divinity (some say, appellations) do appear that are used in direct communication and exchange such as praise, prayer and worship.  El Shaddai (God Almighty), Jealous, and Jehovah are three of the most well known from Scripture.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  For example, GOD is correctly described as “jealous” only where created beings and living creatures exist in intimate relationship with divinity (e.g., apostles, covenant partners, priests, prophets, sons and daughters), and are more than just abstract and material objects.  As person within the full GODhead, the Father, requires commitment, devotion, and worship that are exclusive.  Through the operations of sin—that oppose the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and all divine order maintained through sacred law—consciousness and self-will in finite beings becomes corrupted and defiled.  The result is always defiance, idol worship, rebellion, and spiritual confusion.  I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
