Today, reply is on the biblical origin of accounts describing Satan the ruler over “hell” as the place where divine torment is administered following final judgment. Not having the fresh endowment of spirit content that comes from the makeup of GOD, many outside of the church become entangled by error because, to them, their own inescapable emotions, feelings, imagination, and private thoughts are more authentic, real, and indisputable than anything that might come from another person. For Christians, the goal of the soul is to become Christ-like; and developing believers must become set apart and sanctified through their lifestyle and living routines in order to avoid the defilement and spiritual confusion that are widespread through fascination by such attractions as philosophy and skepticism; politics; science and secular knowledge; social activism; superstition; and the occult. Thus, even those among the body can be unaware that, written in the Book of Revelation, Satan will undergo what is called the second death (i.e., he is cast into the Lake of Fire) before the second resurrection, when the wicked will be privileged to appear before Jesus Christ in the White Throne judgment. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Communism Kills” (Level 1 with 2 points, a member since September 25, 2017) posted the following:

Where did the belief that “The devil rules hell and his demons torture the souls that go there for eternity” come from exactly?

The Bible literally doesn’t even say that.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months. And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon. One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter. (Revelation 9: 10-12, King James Version, KJV)

Communism Kills”, mature Christian faith continues to affirm the truth that the life essence (we also say, breath; spirit; word) from the makeup of GOD, and the holy writings that speak to the Creation, Judgment, Redemption, and Salvation of mankind are not a source for the many errors describing divinity that are shared among created beings and living creatures. Sinners who choose to become developing Christian believers, and those who seek to mix and match sacred knowledge with earthly customs, folklore, and traditions along with worldly and secular knowledge are often influenced by images and reports from epic literature (e.g., Dante’ Inferno, the poem Paradise Lost by Milton, the performance opera and theater play, Faust), and visual arts (e.g., paintings; motion pictures such as The Omen; television productions such as Supernatural). The creative arts apply principles of fantasy and imagination in order to amuse and entertain that include a “willing suspension of disbelief” that supports altering the Scriptures, contradiction of “common sense,” discrete/out of context episodes, fictions, outright lies, and the temporary acceptance of otherwise false and incredible (unbelievable) claims. By contrast, Christian belief is a sophisticated system of interrelated accounts from human experiences of divinity appearing within the awareness and self-will of the living recorded as thousands of events, over the course of thousands of years. Believers apprehend genuine biblical truth through such features as the practice of discernment (using ones own spirit content from the makeup of GOD to recognize and respond to the godly Spirit substance within events, other persons, etc.), discovery, gradual growth, unselfish service, and suffering. The elements that men point to when they seek to dismiss their accountability to GOD, and justify error (I’m right when I am wrong, because…) often includes the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Matthew 4: 1-10, King James Version (KJV): 1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. 2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. 3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. 4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. 5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, 6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. 7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. 8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. 10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

2. Revelation 12: 7-10, KJV: 7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. John 8: 42-45, KJV: 42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Today, reply is on whether Christians may unintentionally perform “the works of the devil.” As with the works of men, the works of the devil are to be discerned, recognized and responded to on the basis of their expression of divine purpose, their spirit content, and their appearance as the sovereign will of GOD. Where a sinner has correctly entered into the sacred operations of rebirth, repentance, and their existence as the new creation of Jesus Christ, they will continue as developing believers who must mature (ripen) for harvest by the Lord at his appearing (i.e., the Advent, the Rapture, the Second Coming). Because there must be discovery, gradual growth, learning through trial and error, risk-taking, and many other features that allow for errors and shortcomings, those born again who also must grow-up again are encouraged and shielded through divine gifts and provisions that include comfort, confession, forbearance, forgiveness, healing, praise, prayer, refreshing, rest, and unselfish service. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Hard Times” (Level 1 with 4 points, a member since September 02, 2007) posted the following:

Do you think some Christians inadvertently do the devil’s work?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right. (Proverbs 20: 11, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Opposing The Divine Will (03/30/2018); Avoiding Confusion About Antichrist (11/08/2017); The Servitude of Angels (08/28/2017); About Lucifer in Scripture (02/18/2016); The Main Problem? Hard Times”, many mature Christians would say “the devil’s work” is primarily blasphemy and slander, the acts of speech that attack the character, process, and substance of divinity and of other persons through the use of deception, lies, the unlawful shedding of blood, and the violation of covenant relationship. Because defilement and sin also have their origin within ones own makeup and spirit content, the works of the devil may be mistaken for the works of the flesh. Here are some points to consider that should be shared with sinners who choose to become developing Christian believers:

1. 1st John 3: 7-9, King James Version (KJV): 7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

2. John 8: 38-45, KJV: 38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. 39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham. 40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. 41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. 42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

3. Galatians 5: 16-21, KJV: 16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. Romans 13: 9-10, KJV: 9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, topics include the response of Jesus to Judas, discerning divine operations, and realizing the active presence who is GOD.  Reply is made to a person boasting that he is an atheist and an imposter who deceives Christian believers.  Those who insist on foolishness and being playful in response to the Gospel do so risking the loss of their salvation from GOD.  For thereby they trod under foot the Son of God, count the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and do despite unto the Spirit of grace.  Through the Holy Spirit, believers are granted discernment to correctly respond to divinity, acknowledge and return genuine love, protect one another from fraud, and to shun iniquity and ungodliness.  Even so, judgment within the body of Christ is to be limited, and aims to avoid pronouncing perdition, and utter condemnation.  Authority to seal and make final determinations of sacred value (and its absence) for individuals, and various events are reserved and exclusive to divinity.  The faithful are instructed that all have sinned and come short,” yet, are cautioned to “judge nothing before the time,” and realize we are in a period of grace.  A person denying the Lord today may become changed in an instant to be a new creation.  When you see them tomorrow, or a few days from now, they may have had their own personal experience of salvation through Christ.  More than this, even where they deny the Lord now, they are no less divine instruments and tools to accomplish eternal purpose.  Jesus and the other apostles accepted the presence of Judas of Iscariot for some three years before the agent of Satan betrayed the Savior with a kiss.  During those years, his acceptance by the Lord was never because Jesus had been “fooled” or tricked regarding the man’s motives and true nature.  Con artists, deceivers, agents of the devil, and “flimflam” men seek to exploit human error, weaknesses, and wickedness in others thinking themselves specially skilled and superior.  Thus, their downfall and exposure usually come through hubris and their own exaggerated pride.  That others make no complaint or push the disbeliever away can be attributed to compassion, correct focus on the coming of Christ to harvest the earth, the greater maturity of believers, and that others do recognize the offender’s desperate need for ministry from a friend who is truly in Christ.  The fighter at “Yahoo! If Christians have a Holy Spirit, why can’t they tell that I’m kidding when I say I’m a Christian?

All I have to do is quote some scripture, praise Jesus, and they don’t have a clue I’m an atheist. Where is the Holy Spirit? I even had a Christian say they could feel the Holy Spirit flowing from me!

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.  Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.  But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man’s judgment:  yea, I judge not mine own self.  For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified:  but he that judgeth me is the Lord.  Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts:  and then shall every man have praise of God.  (1st Corinthians 4:  1-5, King James Version (KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Called, Justified, and Glorified? (01/08/2017); Knowing GOD and Sin? (02/03/2017); Waiting For His Appearing (02/09/2016); Answer a Fool? (06/04/2015); The Gift of Meekness (11/25/2014); Concerning Meekness (11/26/2014); On Testing GOD (06/20/2013); GOD Grants License? (06/21/2013); Origin of Baptism? (06/22/2013)

“Kristophoros”, correctly understood, the “good fight of faith” is not one to condemn sinners so much as it is to bestow the love of GOD upon them.  In addition to wrath against sin, the operations of GOD to maintain and reinforce divine order, eternal life, and the sovereign will of Deity are to be recognized through the appearance of such inseparable spirit content as balance, forbearance, forgiveness, humility, longsuffering, lovingkindness, maturity, meekness, patience, respect, restraint, and sobriety.  Every born-again Christian believer must accept permanent changes in their own character and makeup that only result from operations of the imparted, indwelling Spirit of GOD.  A reborn sinner must “grow up again” by acquiring sacred knowledge through fellowship, praise, prayer, service, study and worship; by completing sacred assignments and duties; by enduring “growing pains” that may include oppression, persecution, and suffering as well as by enduring and overcoming multiple temptations, thrusts and trials from those outside of Christ.  Accusation, confrontation, denouncing others, and slander are weapons of the Devil along with deceit, lies, malice and violence.  True Christian warfare occurs on a higher plane.  Consider again the following from the holy writings:

(1.)  2nd Corinthians 10:  3-5, King James Version (KJV):  3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:  4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)  5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

(2.)  2nd Timothy 2:  19-26, KJV:  19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.  20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.  21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.  22 Flee also youthful lusts:  but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.  23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.  24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,  25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;  26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Malachi 3:  17-18, KJV:  17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.  18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:  24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth:  for in these things I delight saith the LORD.  (Jeremiah 9:  23-24, KJV)

“theresa”, most Christian believers are turned to Jesus Christ for correct knowledge and new life.  In the light of social values widely held today, the choice for knowledge made by Adam (GOD’s name for both the male and female) mistakenly is seen as a choice for enlightenment, freedom, and independence.  However, Adam’s choice also was done in ignorance (i.e., denying and refusing to apply information and truth already received), without correct distance (we say, experience, perspective, the Big Picture), and proper focus.  The pair chose to be in-filled with carnal and secular knowledge, pleasure, and sense experience (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting) that would result in their separation from divinity, rather than be filled with revelation and sacred knowledge that would ensure right relationship, genuine reverence, and acceptable worship of Deity.  In addition to receiving knowledge by discovery and learning, it was GOD’s intent that mankind continue to receive knowledge by regular, intimate exchange and interaction with GOD.  When GOD called, neither answered.  Influenced by the serpent, the pair engaged the operations of sin; and the knowledge they received immediately altered their attitudes, behavior, and comprehension.  The aspects of knowledge were introduced that include deceit, error, exaggeration, forgetting, lies, and presumption.  Corruption, decay and rot were begun that resulted in displays of distrust, fear, pride, and shame.  Consider the following points from the holy writings:

(1.)  Romans 1:  18-22, King James Version (KJV):  18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;  19  Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.  20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power, and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:  21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

(2.)  Deuteronomy 8:  2-3, KJV:  And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.  3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.

(3.)  1st Timothy 2:  13-15, KJV:  13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.  14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.  15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  1st Thessalonians 2:  7-12, KJV:  7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work:  only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.  8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:  9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,  10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they loved not the truth, that they might be saved.  11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:  12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

The righteousness of GOD when using deception through chosen ones and false prophets is considered, today.  Like those generations who proclaimed covenant through Moses and Joshua, individuals chosen and appointed as servants to Deity will demonstrate and be held accountable both for blessings and curses.  Divinity does not use deceit, lies, and trickery to attack, disrupt, draw away, manipulate and ruin those in the earth as does the Adversary.  Delusion and lies appear in the Scriptures as divine instruments in judgment used to admonish, clarify possibilities, condemn, correct, and seal.  Consider again 2nd Thessalonians 2:  7-12, King James Version (KJV):  7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work:  only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.  8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:  9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,  10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:  12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.  The fighter at “Yahoo! THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And the messenger that was gone to call Micaiah spake unto him, saying, Behold now, the words of the prophets declare good unto the king with one mouth:  let thy word, I pray thee, be like the word of one of them, and speak that which is good.  And Micaiah said, As the LORD liveth, what the LORD saith unto me, that will I speak.  So he came to the king. And the king said unto him, Micaiah, shall we go against Ramothgilead to battle, or shall we forbear? And he answered him, Go, and prosper:  for the LORD shall deliver it into the hand of the king.  And the king said unto him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou tell me nothing but that which is true in the name of the LORD?  And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a shepherd:  and the LORD said, These have no master:  let them return every man to his house in peace.  And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell thee that he would prophesy no good concerning me, but evil?  And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD:  I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.  And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.  And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him.  And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also:  go forth, and do so.  Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee.  (1st Kings 22:  13-23, KJV)

“Answering”, to me, your question asks how can GOD be righteous on the basis of specific divine deeds and works—not how can he have authority and divine prerogative.  Here are a few points to consider when viewing sacred operations that fulfill eternal purposes:

(1.)  Awareness and self-will in created beings and living creatures often are invisibly dominated and directed by flesh (e.g.,  appetite, sensation, emotional/mental functions) and the secular mind.  Despite that sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and the Creation maintained through law, the living may be controlled by the workings of sin.  Sin has not been created by GOD, yet, sin does not immediately appear as contrary to ones inborn nature, and may be accepted as a genuine and necessary aspect of ones true identity.  The “exceeding sinfulness of sin” remains hidden until peculiar revelations and sacred events from GOD are provided.  Included are comfort, confession, divine law, forgiveness, prophetic demonstrations, rebirth, testimony, the preaching of the cross, and witness from mature believers.

(2.)  There now are multiple divine processes for discovering and exposing hidden contradictions, errors, lapses, and mistakes that strip mankind of sacred power.  The use of human actors and interpersonal exchange are major devices, today, rather than the use of angelic visitation, sacred events (we say, marvels, miracles, wonders), and manifestations of the Holy Spirit through fire and wind.

(3.)  A person’s full realization of divinity as active and present requires consciousness that results from exchanges and interactions among aspects of their own spirit makeup.  Born again believers receive an imparted, indwelling spirit from the makeup of Deity that endows them with such content as faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, wisdom, and  wrath against sin.

(4.)  Like others, Christian believers do not “volunteer” for punishment, scourging, and suffering.  However, where there is mature acceptance of eternal relationship to GOD as demonstrated and provided through Christ, there also must be acceptance that it is only by challenge, hardship and tribulation that many unseen aspects of life experience can become clear and transparent.  Believers accept a role as instruments whereby prosperity and strength from GOD will appear despite the recurring conflicts, disappointments, struggles, and troubles that characterize life upon the earth.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually taken into account.  (For example, (5.)  Throughout the Scriptures, the treatment of false prophets, who are recognized by their presuming upon divinity, is not the same as that for those in continuing relationship who obey, repent, and sorrow for their sins.  Any appearance of someone claiming to be a spokesperson from GOD requires a response by the community of believers to authenticate the message provided.  Thus, the thoughtful response of believers may appear as fasting, prayer, and rededication as well as searching the holy writings.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith and spiritual maturity.

Today, more points are shared on lying, sin, and spiritual growth.  Liars are to be left to GOD along with accusers, apostates, bullies, complainers, boasters, gossips, heretics, incorrigibles, loafers, name-callers, reprobates, scoffers, slanderers, tattletales, troublemakers, and wasters.  All Christian believers are granted a new place in relationship to GOD through Jesus Christ, however, none may maintain their status as sanctified (we say, cleansed, saved and set apart for holy service) where they continue making lies and approving their own errors.  Additionally, believers are granted strength and understanding to endure challenges, delays, disappointments, liars, thieves, separation and death.  Not only are believers to conduct themselves as sons and daughters to GOD, an evidence of things unseen, they are to edify and prosper the household of  faith as spokespersons (we say, prophets) sent by divinity.  Being fashioned as children, believers gradually grow and at the coming of Christ become permanently transformed as immortal, incorruptible companions to Deity.  The word from GOD that nourishes new life has been established as commandment, law, proclamation (we might say, official decrees), promise, and prophecy.  Mankind must maintain covenant, salvation, and eternal relationship by having divine integrity and righteousness that are bestowed as an indwelling Spirit from GOD.

THE BATTLE AXE:  What to Do About Liars? (11/14/2014)

Psalms 116:  9-18, KJV—I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.  10 I believed, therefore have I spoken:  I was greatly afflicted:  11 I said in my haste, All men are liars.  12 What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?  13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.  14 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.  15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.  16 O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid:  thou hast loosed my bonds.  17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.  18 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

Deuteronomy 23:  21-23, KJV—When thou shalt vow a vow unto the LORD thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it:  for the LORD thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee.  22 But if thou shalt forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee.  23 That which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and perform; even a free will offering, according as thou hast vowed unto the LORD thy God which thou hast promised with thy mouth.

Numbers 23:  19, KJV—God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent:  hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Proverbs 10:  17-19, KJV—He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction:  but he that refuseth reproof erreth.  18 He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.  19 In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin:  but he that refraineth his lips is wise.

Ephesians 4:  17-24, KJV—This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,  18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:  19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.  20 But ye have not so learned Christ;  21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:  22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;  23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;  24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Ezekiel 13:  7-9, KJV—Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The LORD saith it; albeit I have not spoken?  8 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord GOD.  9 And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies:  they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

Psalms 59:  7-12, KJV—Behold, they belch out with their mouth:  swords are in their lips:  for who, say they, doth hear?  8 But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.  9 Because of his strength will I wait upon thee:  for God is my defence.  10 The God of my mercy shall prevent me:  God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies.  11 Slay them not, lest my people forget:  scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our shield.  12 For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride:  and for cursing and lying which they speak.

James 3:  8-18, KJV—But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.  9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.  10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.  11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?  12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.  13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.  14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.  15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.  16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.  17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.  18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Matthew 7:  1-5, KJV—Judge not, that ye be not judged.  2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged:  and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.  3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?  4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?  5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

Matthew 9:  10-13, KJV—And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.  11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?  12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.  13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice:  for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Ephesians 4:  25-32, KJV—Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour:  for we are members one of another.  26 Be ye angry, and sin not:  let not the sun go down upon your wrath:  27 Neither give place to the devil.  28 Let him that stole steal no more:  but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.  29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.  30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.  31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:  32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

1st Peter 3:  8-18, KJV—Finally,  be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:  9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing:  but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.  10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:  11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.  12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers:  but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.  13 And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?  14 But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye:  and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;  15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts:  and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:  16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.  17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.  18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

Lying, rebirth, and service as a Christian believer are topics, today.  Also, there is more on miracles and visitations.  A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “Sherry” (Level 1 with 1 point, a member since July 19, 2007) posted the following:

Do Proverbs 12:22 and Revelation 21:8 forbid ALL lying ?

For example, if someone asks me if I like his new hat but I think it is ugly, am I required by those two verses to be honest? Would I go to hell if I spare his feelings about it?

ADD: What about ones to avoid embarrassment or punishment?

THE BATTLE AXE:  Miracles and Visitations? (03/03/2014)—Rightly understood, a sinner needs only an honest report containing true facts to make choices and determinations necessary in judgment, and for embracing salvation through the word from GOD.  Where there is a genuine respect and trust for those who are bearers of testimony (we say, witness), the force of truth has opportunity to establish clarity, consistency and order.  No aggression, coercion, fear, hostility, instability, lying, pride, unfamiliarity (we say, novelty, strangeness), or violence appears.  See Ephesians 4:  14-16, 2nd Peter 1:  2-11 and 2nd Peter 3:  17-18, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;  And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.  But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;  Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.  For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.  Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.  Be not ye therefore partakers with them.  For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord:  walk as children of light:  (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)  Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.  And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.  (Ephesians 5:  1-11, KJV)

“Sherry”, here some points that become important when a person chooses an adult commitment as a Christian believer:

(1.)  Called to be Workers.  All believers are needed in the work of spreading the Gospel.  Therefore, all serve in one form of ministry or another.  Not only does this mean repeating the things they learn from the Bible, and church study programs, it means being in relationships with others that will display the Spirit of GOD that must be alive within themselves.  Family, friends, and strangers are helped to accept, recognize divine reality, and understand Christ when they see he appears in the honest sharing of feelings and thoughts, right respect, and shared trust.

(2.)  Called to be Vessels.  All believers must be “born again” through the operations of GOD that include water baptism (death and rebirth having divine DNA, so to speak).  It is in this sense that all are priests.  Believers are given fresh deposits of divine substance that is then built up and increased through such actions as hearing the holy writings, praise, prayer, and unselfish service.  Even so, once born again, believers must “grow up” again facing all the challenges and “growing pains” of life in the earth.

There is a lot more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually understood that may not be presented, here, at this time.  (For example, (3.)  Called to be Children.  Others will know that believers are sons and daughters to GOD only when believers can show they have a real connection to the Almighty by their spirit content.  Inseparable (you see one, you see all) aspects of the Father and Son must appear as faith, holiness, forgiveness, righteousness, truthfulness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  There are no good lies that can show the perfection of GOD.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.  But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,  Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;  Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;  That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.  (Titus 3:  3, KJV)
