Today, reply is on worship as necessary to continue human existence and life. The living require ongoing relationship and uninterrupted contact with the Creator wherein their needs for health, nourishment, and increase of sacred content will be acknowledged and addressed. It is written: Psalms 43: 3-5, King James Version (KJV): 3 O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles. 4 Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God. 5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality using the ID “????” (Level 4 with 4,377 points, a member since December 08, 2006) posted the following:

What is the purpose of worshipping god?

Is it so you can go to heaven regardless of the situation your in, even if your in a bad situation and he doesnt help you. Or is it so god can help make your life better? What if a innocent young person was sentenced to death and he never gave his life to god, hell automatically go to hell?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth. Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously. Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof. Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth. (Psalms 96: 9-13, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Divine Fullness Is Spirit (09/11/2019); Decently And In Order (06/26/2019); Known By His Fruit (11/04/2018); Eternal Praise and Worship? (01/30/2018); Worship and the Cross (11/27/2017); In Spirit and Truth? (10/02/2017); Knowing the Invisible GOD (09/17/2017)

????”, the duration of existence and life within created beings and living creatures depend on their having contact with the origin and source of their process and substance. To exist as more than an abstraction or material object, and to experience freedom and an acceptable quality of life, the living must know GOD, and be known by GOD. Divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Creator; the Godhead; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) may be understood as a singular entity made up of all spirit matter that is. Inseparable aspects of divinity include balance, direction, faith, holiness, hope, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, purpose, righteousness, truth, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Therefore, for there to be meaningful communication, exchange and interaction between divinity and Creation that are uninterrupted by death or the operations of sin, mankind and other living creatures (e.g., animals, angels, sacred beasts of heaven) must contain deposits and endowments of life essence imparted from the makeup of GOD (we also say, breath; divine DNA; sacred “seed”; spirit; word). Mutual acknowledgment and ongoing relationship with GOD—who is immortal, immutable, ineffable, invisible, unchanging, and without dimension and measurable form—appear and are set forth through declarations of divine law, and fixed patterns, practices, principles, proclamations, and promises. Worship is the living display of sacred spirit abiding and indwelling those who willingly serve as eternal life companions with divinity. Judgment is the examination of records maintained by divinity (the book of life) that detail attitudes, conduct, spirit content, and responses to divinity shown by the living. Judgment will be carried out before the dead and the living undergo a final transformation to exist as immortal and incorruptible. The lake of fire (the second death) expressing the displeasure of divinity and wrath against sin will continue to burn until it no longer has fuel (i.e., until everything put in it is burned up, and even ashes and residue no longer exist). Thus, acceptable worship also includes confession, gratitude, humility, prayer, praise, rejoicing, repentance, sacrifice, service, sharing, silence, suffering, and waiting. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a presentation from the music ministry of the Winans with Donnie McClurkin:

(1.) Matthew 7: 18-23, King James Version (KJV): 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

(2.) Colossians 2: 8-15, KJV: 8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: 11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example (3.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ofyjNrai1fU) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Martyrs Under the Altar

Today, reply is on existence, life, and whether spirits of the dead actually exist. Mortality and death pertain to the state of the physical body more than to the influence of spirit on the process and substance of life. The deposit of spirit that operates as life within both Christians and sinners is understood as different from the spirit that appears as religion, or the imparted spirit from the makeup of GOD provided for rebirth and salvation in those becoming born again. While there is much disagreement among Christians regarding the place where ones life spirit is located or resides after leaving a physical body (e.g., limbo, purgatory, the place of torment), many nonetheless agree that ones spirit continues to exist, and will at some point re-occupy its own form (body). It is written: Romans 8: 22-23, King James Version (KJV): 22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Skittles” (Level 3 with 1,672 points, a member since May 12, 2012) posted the following:

Does spirits of the dead really exist?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (for we walk by faith, not by sight.) (2nd Corinthians 5: 1-7, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Present With The Lord (08/05/2019); Death Used in Salvation (06/28/2019); Two Uses For Resurrection (05/01/2019); Challenged To Explain Resurrection (10/08/2018); The Comfort Through Christ? (01/13/2017); Signs From The Dead? (01/15/2017); Life Is GOD’s Intent (11/15/2016); Discovered Differences? (09/18/2015); Spirit, Spirit Beings, Spirit Persons? (10/13/2015)

Skittles”, here are some thoughts you may find helpful. Mature Christians do not acknowledge apparitions, ghosts, phantoms, and occult creatures. As a matter of their faith and full understanding, many agree that where life essence (we also say, breath; spirit; word) has been imparted from GOD to inhabit flesh and blood, a created being or creature is produced who displays consciousness, existence, and life. GOD must be joined with a material body for there to be “a living soul.” Material things may exist having neither consciousness nor life (e.g., a cardboard box; a corpse; a stone idol). Even so, all material things that exist occupy measurable amounts of space, and may register as a focus or object in the consciousness of the living.

Spirit can not be known completely and correctly, or manipulated using only such finite human tools as intellect, logic, sensation, recall, and thought. Spirit matter exists as unseen active presence; may display direction; and may of itself both concentrate and expand. The operations of Spirit become visible through its effects, and when Spirit embodies or uses multiple forms as vessels. Destroying a vessel that contains spirit matter does not always destroy its spirit content also. Because spirit substance is diffuse, immaterial, invisible, and immeasurable, many deny the existence of Spirit. In their error, they insist “spirit” has no authentic influence and power over the living.

Death is the completion of ones mortality; the loss of life; and the separation event where the spirit that allows the living to display direction, personhood, purpose, and self-will leaves the physical body. To comfort survivors of bereavement, mankind continues to use many diverse explanations and traditions that promote the continued existence of ones spirit, and therefore, possibilities for their life to be renewed and restored. Divine judgment requires resurrection of the dead, for all who appear before divinity must be alive. Consider again the following found among Christians that use language from the Bible:

1. Ecclesiastes 3: 18-22, King James Version (KJV): 18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts. 19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity. 20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. 21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth? 22 Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?

2. Ecclesiastes 12: 1-7, KJV: 1 Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them; 2 While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain: 3 In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened, 4 And the doors shall be shut in the streets, when the sound of the grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the daughters of musick shall be brought low; 5 Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets: 6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern. 7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. Revelation 20: 4-6, KJV: 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Hebrews 11-6

Today, a declaration of personally-held faith is shared in reply on the importance of belief in Jesus Christ for ones salvation. While many insist that salvation occurs only on the basis of works completed by divinity, human expression repeatedly presents believing as an act of human will, and a work completed by those in the flesh. So to speak, believers are not saved by their own works; they are privileged to benefit and experience the works of GOD that allow mankind to display the divine nature. The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “I trust the count” (Level 7 with 278,586 points, a member since March 02, 2006) posted the following:

Is just believing in Jesus Christ alone for my Salvation enough to get me to Heaven?

I do believe that Jesus Christ has died on the cross for my sins I deserve to be punished for so I can have Eternal Life

Is that enough to get me to Heaven?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2: 8-10, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Believing That GOD Is (06/24/2019); Displaying Faith Through Works (03/04/2019); We Have To Believe? (01/06/2019); Become Like Jesus Christ? (10/27/2016); Belief, Content And Works? (02/12/2016); Not Through Human Will? (01/29/2016); By More Than Believing (12/04/2015)

I trust the count”, your question requires responses that clarify and explain another person’s faith, rather than man-made things, and is not really a simple matter because we must experience faith (a substance from the full makeup of GOD) as a sacred process of continual change, development, and growth. Those who become “born again” must also “grow up” again, for they must undergo a total transformation to exist as mature/ripe life companions (offspring) of divinity. Sharing faith in a way that is complete and correct requires multiple explanations; and the words we use often fuel and permit spiritual confusion. Even so, there is much we can share that you may find helpful.

It is not enough just to have facts about Jesus Christ, academic instruction, and secular knowledge regarding events from the ministry of Jesus on the earth. The content and process of ones consciousness, personhood, sense of eternal purpose, and self-will (willpower) must be permanently altered by the presence and operations of divinity. The living must acknowledge the gifts and works provided from GOD for salvation by receiving and responding to multiple sacred influences. In addition to using material and physical creation to appear to the living, divine fullness (we also say, the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) imparts and uses inseparable aspects of unseen life essence (breath; spirit; word) to communicate, exchange, and interact with Creation. Included are faith, forbearance, forgiveness, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

Sinners who properly turn to GOD seek a new relationship through new commitment, discipline, and discernment. Through divinity incarnate as Jesus Christ, “life” is not simply through the forms of conception and birth; it is also by rebirth and resurrection. With the goal of becoming Christlike, and correctly displaying the image of GOD through their own lifestyle and daily routines, developing believers continue discovery, gradual growth, learning, obedience, respect, restraint, reverence, unselfish service, and suffering. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Hebrews 11: 5-7, King James Version (KJV): 5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. 7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

2. John 11: 21-27, KJV: 21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. 22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. 23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. 24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. 25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? 27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. Romans 6: 3-11, KJV: 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed from sin. 8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. 10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Be Still and Know

Today, reply is on whether “believing” there is GOD is a matter of acknowledging a broad range of attributes and characteristics (e.g., authority, ethnicity, faith, lovingkindness, personhood, power, race) that require meaningful human responses, or is a simple act of definition for a common object in the life of mankind. According to Christian beliefs, as an emanation from divinity and a creation of GOD, the completeness, integrity, and quality of human existence and life for mankind should vary as a function of divine prerogative, sacred law, eternal purpose, and sovereign will. Thus, it is written: Malachi 1: 6-10, King James Version (KJV): 6 A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name? 7 Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD is contemptible. 8 And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts. 9 And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard your persons? saith the LORD of hosts. 10 Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand. The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Wisecracker” (Level 05 with 9,341 points, a member since April 07, 2019) posted the following:

Believing in God means more than simply acknowledging His existence. Agree or Disagree?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts? And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered. Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not. (Malachi 3: 13-18, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: According To Divine Purpose (06/09/2019); From Spirit Not Mud (02/26/2019); That GOD Is Judge (11/01/2018); The Origin And Source (04/26/2018); Sacred Operations By GOD (04/12/2018); What Is A Spirit? (03/06/2018); The Meaning of Worship? (07/09/2014); To Serve GOD Acceptably (07/10/2014)

Wisecracker”, correctly understood, many take “believing” in GOD to be only an emotional, intellectual, and mental process. In fact, however, acknowledging and responding to GOD are operations that depend on spirit process and substance. Where a person thoughtfully reflects on divinity (we also say, divine fullness; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) as being more than another physical object like themselves that definitely has existence, and might also have life, the method and process to make an accurate and complete consideration involves posing multiple questions, pursuing patterns of logical connection, and organizing all the data one may collect to provide a clear presentation of ones process and findings. Academic descriptions, information about “the gods” and reports on their activities will be very different from those presentations shared as priestly sacraments, revelation, and utterances from divinity to maintain communication, exchange, and interaction with mankind.

For many, Christianity has been the most challenging belief system that shares the thoughts and words from divinity to make divine fullness knowable, known, accessible, and approachable. Included have been divine law; covenant relationship; and the appearance of GOD through thousands of events, within thousands of lives, over the course of thousands of years. While divinity ordinarily exists as inseparable spirit substance (e.g., faith, holiness, forbearance, forgiveness, gratitude, humility, personhood, oneness without sameness, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin), divinity also has appeared on the earth as Jesus Christ using the forms and operations of human flesh (we say, the Incarnation).

The character, process, and substance of divinity is Spirit; therefore, GOD is held to be boundless, limitless, and without measurable dimensions. More than this, GOD is the origin for all that exists, for order throughout the universe as well as for all that have life. In Christian belief, it is possible for created beings and living creatures that have consciousness and self-will to receive benefits and privileges sharing relationships with GOD that become possible through spirit substance imparted from the makeup of GOD, divine law, sacred promises, prophecy, eternal purpose, and the sovereignty of GOD. Through devices such as Incarnation, the use of anointed spokespersons (we say, prophets, kings, apostles), the establishment of governments and nations, and the founding of a church on the earth, the existence of GOD is experienced as that of a sentient being who determines multiple aspects of human duration and survival. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Hebrews 11: 6, King James Version (KJV): 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

2. Isaiah 55: 6-12, KJV: 6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. 12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. 13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

3. Hosea 6: 5-7, KJV: 5 Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth. 6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings. 7 But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. Jeremiah 9: 23-24, KJV: 23 Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: 24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

The Sickle Thrust In

Today, reply is on the attitude and spirit Christ will display in the Second Coming. The first appearing of Jesus was not without a demonstration at the Temple in Jerusalem of divine wrath against irreverence (the moneychangers driven out); and it is written:  Shmuel Alef 12: 16-18, Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB):  16 Now therefore stand and see this davar hagadol (great thing), which Hashem will make before your eyes. 17 Is it not ketzir chittim (wheat harvest) today? I will call unto Hashem, and He shall send kolot (thunder) and matar (rain); that ye may perceive and see that your wickedness is rabbah (great), which ye have made in the eyes of Hashem, in requesting for you a Melech. 18 So Shmuel called unto Hashem; and Hashem sent kolot and matar that day; and kol HaAm greatly feared Hashem and Shmuel. [1st Samuel 12: 16-18, King James Version (KJV): 16 Now therefore stand and see this great thing, which the LORD will do before your eyes. 17 Is it not wheat harvest to day? I will call unto the LORD, and he shall send thunder and rain; that ye may perceive and see that your wickedness is great, which ye have done in the sight of the LORD, in asking you a king. 18 So Samuel called unto the LORD; and the LORD sent thunder and rain that day: and all the people greatly feared the LORD and Samuel.]  Even so, the inheritance to Jesus Christ as “the Son of David” did not include a character and nature brimming with bitterness, desire for revenge, and maniacal anger. David is recorded as having kept covenant with Jonathan, the son of King Saul, by suppressing his anger, rather than exploit an opportunity to slay the father of his friend. David acknowledged the prophetic pleas from the wife of Nabal whom David and his band were ready to destroy with the sword. Absalom made no show of his full indignation against his brother for more than 40 years. Also, while David did muster an army to put down the rebellion of Absalom, he continually expressed the forgiving love of a father to an errant son. The divine promise for dynasty by the House of David over the 12 tribes of Jacob was altered responding to Rehoboam, the son of Solomon; and would have to be fulfilled through Christ due to Rehoboams displays of arrogance, exaggerated pride, immaturity, and presumption more than to his anger, outrage, and lack of humility. Jews: Will the moshiach ben david be slow to anger, or is it possible he will have anger problems? Did king David or king Solomon have any?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And Pesach was fast approaching, and Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach went up to Yerushalayim [DEVARIM 16:1-6]. And he found in the Beis Hamikdash the ones selling oxen and sheep and doves [VAYIKRA 1:14; DEVARIM 14:26] and the coin-dealers sitting [DEVARIM 14:25]. And having made a shot (whip) out of ropes Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach drove all of them out of the Beis Hamikdash, both the sheep and the cattle. He also poured out the coins of the machalifei hakesafim (money-changers) and overturned their tishen (tables). And to the ones selling doves, Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach said, Take these things from here. Do not make the Bais Avi a bais hasokharim (house of merchants). [ZECHARYAH 14:21] The talmidim of Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach remembered that it had been written, KINAT BETECHA AKHALATNI (The zeal for Your bais will devour me [TEHILLIM 69:9]. (Yochanan 2: 13-17, Orthodox Jewish Bible, OJB)

And the Jews’ passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables; And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise. And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up. (John 2: 13-17, King James Version, KJV)

Max”, you may find the following is helpful: Final judgment acknowledges unchanging value and worth on the basis of divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD; and does not focus on things from mankind that are material, social, and carnal. Anger, ill temper, rage, and being short-tempered are expressions of emotional and psychological violence that occur within ones flesh through imbalance and over-stimulation, rather than displays of ones life essence (i.e., breath; spirit; word) and the inseparable aspects of sacred substance imparted from the makeup of divinity that include faith, holiness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. When Christ appears to harvest his believers and followers from the earth who are mature/ripe for final transformation to exist as immortal, incorruptible companions to divinity, there will be an atmosphere of celebration and relief; yet, the saved will be greeted with multiple challenges and divine works that must be completed (e.g., populating the New Jerusalem; the second resurrection and tribunals for the wicked; the second death; the bestowing of divine rewards).

Christ in his triumph will eliminate sin and its operations for ever along with fear, mortality, and uncertainty regarding the sovereign will of GOD. The nature of the Savior’s work will be immediately acknowledged by all as authoritative, impartial, permanent, and righteousness. Condemnation that appears will be an aspect of judicial findings and lawful process, not of feelings, emotional commitment, opinions, and personal expression. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Yaakov 1: 16-22, Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB): 16 Do not fall under a delusion, my beloved Achim b’Moshiach. 17 Every good endowment and every matanah shleimah (complete gift) is from above, coming down from Avi HaOhrot (the Father of Lights) with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. [TEHILLIM 85:12; BERESHIS 1:16; TEHILLIM 136:7; DANIEL 2:22; BAMIDBAR 23:19; TEHILLIM 102:27; MALACHI 3:6] 18 Birtzon Hashem (by the will of G-d), he gave birth to us by the Dvar HaEmes, that we might be a kind of bikkurim (firstfruits) of all he created. [YIRMEYAH 2:3] 19 Have da’as of this, my beloved Achim b’Moshiach. Let every man be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to ka’as (anger). [MISHLE 10:19]  20 For the ka’as of Bnei Adam does not accomplish the Tzikat Hashem. 21 Therefore, having put away all filthiness and what remains of resha (wickedness) in shiflut (lowliness) and meekness receive the implanted Dvar Hashem which is able to save your nefashot.[Rev 3:20] 22 Now be Shomrei HaDvar Hashem and not Shomei HaDvar only, thereby causing yourselves to fall under remiyah (deceit, deception).

James 1: 16-22, King James Version (KJV): 16 Do not err, my beloved brethren. 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. 18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. 19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: 20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. 21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

2. Kehillah in Colossae 3: 1-11, OJB: 1 If therefore you were made to stand up alive in hitkhadshut with Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach, seek the things above, where Moshiach is, LI’MINI (“at my right hand” TEHILLIM 110:1), sitting at the right hand of Hashem. 2 Place your machshavot (thoughts) above (in Shomayim), not on the things of the Olam Hazeh. 3 For you died and the Chayyim of you has become nistar (hidden, 2:3) with Moshiach in Hashem. 4 When Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach who is Chayyeinu (our Life) is made manifest in hisgalus (revelation), then also you with Him will be made manifest in hisgalus in kavod. 5 Therefore, put to death your evarim (members) in the Olam Hazeh: zenut (fornication), debauchery, sensuality, zimmah (licentiousness), and chamdanut (covetousness), which is avodah zarah (idolatry). 6 Because of such things as these the charon af Hashem habah (the coming burning wrath of Hashem) is on the way. 7 Such was your derech to fier zich (comport oneself), the derech resha’im formerly [TEHILLIM 1:6], when you were living in these things. 8 But now you also put away all these things: ka’as (anger), rage, kavvanah ra’ah (malice) chillul Hashem (blasphemy). Put away loshon hora from your mouth. 9 Do not speak sheker to one another, having disrobed from the Adam hakadmoni (old [unregenerated] humanity) with his ma’asim (works), 10 And instead enrobe with the Adam HaChadash, the one being renewed in da’as in accordance with the demut (1:15; BERESHIS 1:26-27; Pp 2:6) of the One having created him. 11 Here there is neither Yevani nor Yehudi, there is neither those who are or are not of the Bris Milah, there is no uncultured non-Greek speaker, there is no Scythian, eved, or Ben Chorin, but rather Moshiach is all in all.

Colossians 3: 1-11, KJV: 1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. 5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: 6 For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: 7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them. 8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. 9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; 10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: 11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. Kehillah in Rome 8: 1-9, OJB: 1 Therefore, now there is no gezar din (verdict) of ashem (guilty), no harsha’ah (condemnation as guilty) for those in Moshiach Yehoshua (cf. Ro 5:18). 2 For the Torah of the Ruach HaKodesh that gives Chayyim in Moshiach Yehoshua [YIRMEYAH 31:31-34; YECHEZKEL 36:26-27] has set you free from the Chok of Chet and Mavet. 3 For what the Torah was unable to do in that it was weak through the basar (fallen human nature under Chet Kadmon and without hitkhadshut renewal and regeneration by the Ruach Hakodesh), G-d sent his own Ben HaElohim [Moshiach] in the very demut (likeness) of the basar of sinful humanity and as a chattat (sin offering, sin atoning sacrifice, 2C 5:21) and both pronounced and effected a sentence of death on HaChet baBasar (Sin in the Flesh, in the fallen old humanity) 4 In order that the maleh chukat haTorah (the full statute requirement of the Torah, see VAYIKRA 18:5) might be fulfilled in us whose halakhah is in the Derech [HaChayyim] (the Way of Life) according to the Ruach Hakodesh and not in accordance with the basar. 5 For those who exist in terms of the basar take the side of the basar, whereas those who exist in terms of the Ruach [Hakodesh] take the side of the Ruach Hakodesh. 6 For the way of thinking of the basar is mavet (death), whereas the way of thinking of the Ruach Hakodesh is Chayyim and Shalom. 7 Because the way of thinking of the basar is hostility, eyvah (enmity BERESHIS 3:15) toward G-d, for it does not submit itself to the Torah of G-d; for it cannot. 8 And those who are in the basar are not able to please Hashem. 9 However, you are not in the basar [i.e., unregenerate] but in the Ruach Hakodesh, assuming that the Ruach Hakodesh of Hashem does indeed dwell in you—if anyone does not have the Ruach HaMoshiach, that person does not belong to Moshiach.

Romans 8: 1-9, KJV: 1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, the reply focuses on doctrine and teachings among Christian believers that are important when considering abortion. Mature Christians will not be deceived by those who promote abortion, birth control pills, condoms and Viagra as resources necessary for pubic health and reproduction to disguise their actual goal is no more than making money by selling popular products that have questionable value. Many believers acknowledge that mothering may be contrary to a woman’s ambitions and personality, yet, it is not contrary to divine law, eternal purpose, and a woman’s sacred inheritance. In addition to divorce, entitlements, family, fornication, physical beauty, exaggerated pride, abuse of drugs and medicines, there are many topics that require believers to re-examine and weigh the meaning and value of life to the unborn child. For many years, abortions were often criminally performed in settings that were not medically sound, and methods were used that included violence against women. Prostitutes, sex workers, and women caught in adultery would be forced to destroy any egg (a woman’s seed) that might become fertilized. Crude attempts to cause a miscarriage or stillbirth were relied on that ranged from pushing a woman down a stairwell to scraping her placenta using a wire coat-hanger. The process of divinity for mankind promotes life as an immutable, unchanging purpose. Divinity therefore provides continuity and stability for relationships with the Creator in spite of the mortality of man that allows life to be cut off without warning. The careless and malicious destruction of life are understood as a form of betrayal, blasphemy, murder, rebellion, withholding glory and praise to GOD as well as usurpation. It is written: 1st Corinthians 3: 11-19, King James Version (KJV): 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. 14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. 16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile is shared) posted the following:

Why are people so against abortion? It isn’t murder?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich? Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust, And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them. She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not her’s: her labour is in vain without fear; Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath he imparted to her understanding. What time she lifteth up herself on high, she scorneth the horse and his rider. (Job 39: 13-18, King James Version, KJV)

Anonymous”, there are multiple themes and streams of sacred knowledge that come together when prayerfully examining the issues of abortion. All Christian believers are cautioned to “judge nothing before the time” (i.e., render no final sacred decisions against error and sin before the tribunal of White Throne judgment). Christians are entered into a broad system of belief and eternal life that begins before death wherein apprehension of sacred knowledge is to be unending. Fullness and maturity are accomplished through such features as change, discovery, gradual growth, learning, rebirth, focused study, unselfish service, and suffering.

Developing and mature believers are to be conscious of the reflections and teachings recorded as the holy writings that provide the meaningful guidelines and principles needed for accord with divinity to be uninterrupted. Just as there are differences between life and death, there are clear conflicts that must be resolved between the operations from self-will and those that accompany performing the divine will. The origin, process, purpose and substance of existence, life, and continuing relationship with the Creator are to be acknowledged as provided through the operations of divinity (we also say, divine fullness; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit). There are in place sacred law and divine order that must remain for the universe to continue as we now know it.

Therefore, with the people of GOD, a charge of “murder” addresses more than simple accountability for ones own behavior. The authority, dominion, intent, and eternal purpose of GOD must come into view as aspects of covenant with divinity, and with the community of believers. In the same way parents begin their communications, relationships, and responsibilities for their child before its actual birth, GOD endows a developing child with personhood and other inseparable aspects of his own makeup. Included are faith, holiness, joy, meekness, and righteousness. The earth and Creation have been put forth by divinity, and their duration is on the basis of divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD, not simply mechanical process and natural laws. The world has been created by mankind as a finite system for communication, exchange, interaction and survival. While death will stop a sinner from continuing to commit sin, the consequences for their sin among the living may continue as a challenge and an unseen influence for as many as four generations (160 years). Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Psalms 115: 16-18, King James Version (KJV): 16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men. 17 The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence. 18 But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the LORD.

2. 1st Timothy 2: 13-15, KJV: 13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.  14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

3. Psalms 127: 3-5, KJV: 3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. 4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. 5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

4. Psalms 139: 11-18, KJV: 11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. 12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee. 13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. 14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. 15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. 17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! 18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 5. Jeremiah 1: 5-10, KJV: 5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. 6 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. 7 But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. 8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD. 9 Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. 10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Lazarus

A depiction of Lazarus raised from the dead.

Today, reply is on two distinct uses of resurrection that appear within the holy writings; entrance of the dead into eternal life through Jesus Christ; and, that all who appear in the sacred presence for tribunals of final judgment must be alive. Those who returned life to the dead while on the earth neither completed their judgment, nor altered their condition of mortality. In the same way, believers must distinguish between Lazarus in the parable of the rich man and the beggar, and Lazarus, brother to Mary and Martha, whom Jesus commanded to come forth from his resting place alive, developing believers are to exercise alertness, discernment, and vigilance to recognize and respond to the many subtleties (i.e., barely visible differences; hidden shifts in meaning and value) that appear within the course of our speaking about judgment and resurrection. Many are sure that only by answering in resurrection will mankind see the complete fulfillment of divine cleansing, healing, exorcism, and the perfection of human godliness. Distinctions must be acknowledged between the first and second judgments that are completed through (1) the first and second resurrections, (2) demonstrations where the dead are made alive, (3) apprehending Jesus Christ through the death, the resurrection and the judgment the Savior had to undergo, and (4) sacred resurrection where the dead are enabled to appear within the tribunals of divine judgment. These things are not provided to cause confusion, or humble the living before divinity; rather, they are shared to make the entire Creation aware of the difference between dying a second time after being raised from death, and the second death that will complete divine judgment, end human mortality, and totally eliminate the operations of sin. The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Blue Ridge” (Level 1 with 24 points, a member since January 05, 2019) posted the following:

Jesus Raised the Dead?

During His earthly ministry, Jesus raised several people back to life. Great, right? The problem is that each person that was brought back to life had to die again. Horrible! Let me get this straight. I thought resurrection meant BRAND NEW BODY NEVER TO DIE AGAIN. What do you say? Why did Jesus raise people back to life knowing that they were going to die again? Wow!! Dying TWICE in one life time must suck big time. What do you say?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. (Revelation 20: 4-6, King James Version, KJV)

Blue Ridge” in Christian belief, resurrection is a sacred process made visible to mankind on the earth through divine revelation and Incarnation that display otherwise invisible aspects of divine fullness (i.e., Deity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit). Those raised from the dead by Jesus Christ while on the earth were entered into his resurrection, and appear as new life, rebirth, and new creation. The dead are returned to exist within communities and relationships of love, of ministering the gospel, and of service to the Savior. While they live they experience divine joy, and are becoming mature/ripe for harvest (we say, Advent, the Rapture, the Second Coming) when the Lord will receive those who are his from the earth. In addition to inseparable aspects imparted from the makeup of GOD (e.g., balance, completeness, dominion, faith, holiness, personhood, utterance, wisdom, wrath against sin), resurrection demonstrates the authority, prerogative and sovereignty of divine will over existence, life, mortality, mechanical process and natural law as well as forgiveness, immortality, incorruptibility, and reconciliation. Resurrection as a divine operation also is used to ensure that the dead will appear before divinity in living tribunals for final judgment that are set apart (sanctified) by impartiality, mercy, permanence for its renderings, and righteousness. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Romans 6: 3-7, King James Version (KJV): 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

2. Romans 6: 8-13, KJV: 8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.  10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. 12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

3. Philippians 3: 7-14, KJV: 7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, 9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: 10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. 12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. Luke 16: 22-31, KJV: 22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. 27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: 28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. 29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
