Father of the Faithful

Today, reply is on the divine revelation received by Abraham, grace manifest as forgiveness and promise, and the Patriarch’s place in divine judgment. Divinity is being made knowable, known, accessible, and approachable through sacred law, promise, prophecy and other utterances (we say, breath; spirit; the Word). Created beings and living creatures are to receive and operate in terms of imparted spirit substance from the makeup of GOD. Included are faith, forbearance, holiness, hope, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Thus, the final judgment that will occur to complete the cleansing and transformation of mankind, does not center on deeds and works alone; and final judgment is determined on the basis of the sacred content that has appeared within the living. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “anony” (Level 2 with 349 points, a member since December 20, 2015) posted the following:

Christians: Is Abraham going to hell for not believing in the mysterious Trinity?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness. How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision. And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also: And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised. For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect: (Romans 4: 8-14, King James Version, KJV)

anony”, among mature Christian believers it is understood that Abraham was granted a covenant relationship with divinity, and did satisfy all the demands placed upon him as the Friend of God. Living and traveling as a nomad, Abram commanded a household made up of his own family with the families of friends and servants. His community numbered in the thousands; and everywhere they went they demonstrated divine order and faith in the true GOD (as would evangelists). Abraham completed righteous works such as establishing wells of water and altars acknowledging Jehovah. Abraham’s error and presumption—by marrying Hagar in order to fulfill the prophecy of GOD that Sarah would bear a son through whom all the earth would be blessed—was forgiven him, and fulfilled in the person of Jesus Christ. Abraham is acknowledged, exalted and uplifted as the Father of the Faithful, because he behaved and walked correctly within the light that he was granted.

The revelation of GOD to make divinity known and approachable to Abraham was not exactly the same as that granted through the covenant with Moses (also called, the law). Even so, the promises to Abraham were intended to benefit all mankind, and have been continued using human flesh, divine law, and sacred spirit. In addition to circumcision, prophecy and sacred visions, Abraham was granted priesthood and privilege to serve through intercession and mediation in the judgment of Sodom and Gomorrah. Consider again the following that uses language from the holy writings:

1. Genesis 18: 17-19, King James Version (KJV): 17 And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; 18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? 19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

2. Romans 6: 16-18, KJV: 16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? 17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. 18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

3. Galatians 3: 6-7, KJV: 6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. 7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

4. Isaiah 63: 16, KJV: 16 Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O LORD, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 5. Galatians 3: 14-18, KJV: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. 15 Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man’s covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto. 16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. 17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. 18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, focus is on the process of GOD for accomplishing the complete restoration of the divine gifts of beauty, glory and grace lost by mankind through the Fall of Adam.  The living are no longer adorned with spiritual garments of light, and now must receive a covering of spirit, even the whole armor of GOD.  The patterns and possibilities generated by their own form and substance include influences and forces that may overwhelm awareness and willpower within the living.  Simple nudity should not be an obstacle to correct relationships; however, because nudity may trigger sexual arousal, and quickly become a snare that entangles the imagination, ones inhibitions and the mind, nudity, and most sexual situations and themes are to be regarded as dangerous, unpredictable, and threatening except in controlled settings.  Sexuality for animals and mankind exists as a defining aspect of development and growth, and has place in the life from ones birth to their death.  For mankind, great damage may result where the accountability that appears through love is not present.  Along with fornication, lust and promiscuity, immature and infantile sexuality always result in spiritual confusion and conflicts among godly values.  GOD imparts no “forbidden knowledge;” and that we might be “children of light,” the Creator provides inseparable spirit content from his own makeup, rather than intellect, logic, carnal reason, and secular knowledge.  Included are faith, forbearance, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “James” (Level 3 with 2,243 points, a member since March 20, 2015) posted the following:

Do all humans share the forbidden knowledge imparted to Adam and Eve?

If yes, why don’t I understand why being naked is supposed to be shameful? If we don’t have the knowledge they got, why care at all about nakedness? I wear clothes and feel self conscious because I grew up in a society that christians got their bigoted “everyone must think like me” paws on, way before I was born. It’s unfair that I’m programmed with body shaming and self consciousness. Nudists feel free, and i want that, but no, Christians turned the back of my mind against me from birth.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day:  we are not of the night, nor of darkness.  Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.  For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.  But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.  For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,  Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.  (1st Thessalonians 5:  5-10, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  The Choice of Knowledge? (10/28/2015); Sin As Our Inheritance? (06/08/2015); Sanctify Yourselves? (06/26/2014); Inheriting the Kingdom? (06/27/2014); (Appetite (10/14/2010); Why Clothing? (10/15/2010); Known by GOD? (10/16/2010)

“James”, in the same way relationships among family, friends, neighbors and co-workers require creating and maintaining certain conditions, and acknowledging boundaries and limits, mankind’s communication, exchange and interaction with the Creator was always to be through divine order and structure provided by divinity.  In the beginning, man was like the angels of GOD, neither mortal nor immortal.  By disobeying the command of GOD, the duration, spirit content from the makeup of Deity, and countless features of the sphere of life for Adam and Eve would have to be divinely altered.  The error committed by the first pair (the male and female) was more than a matter of their accepting and valuing secular data, and carnal information.  Their desire, thoughts, and acts of self-will interrupted and suspended the intended process of GOD for their acquisition of knowledge, learning, and growth.

Many mature Christian believers accept teachings that explain the first pair were “clothed” and shielded with a covering of divine spirit (some say, light, radiance) that established them as having balance, beauty, dominion, and worth before the host of heaven, and one another.  Through regular contact with GOD, their divine endowments would be continually nourished and replenished.  However, through the operations of sin, the light that was the “mark of GOD” resting upon Adam and Eve would become diminished and extinguished.

Until established in the new creation provided through Jesus Christ, mankind must endure and resolve multiple conflicts within his own makeup that responds both to earthy characteristics and features (we say, the flesh) as well as to aspects of the divine (we say, the Spirit).  Human awareness and self-will may be directed and dominated through appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, cravings for sexual contact), sensation (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching), and through emotion/mental faculties (e.g., anger, fear, imagination, recall).  Sinners who become born again must “grow up again” and become mature by meeting life challenges and “growing pains” on the earth.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  Job 38:  4-11, King James Version (KJV):  4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.  5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?  6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;  7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?  8 Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?  9 When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it,  10 And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors,  11 And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further:  and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?

(2.)   1st John 1:  5-10, KJV:  5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.  6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:  7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.  8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

(3.)  Isaiah 30:  1, KJV:  1 Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Revelation 20:  12-14, KJV:  12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened:  and another book was opened, which is the book of life:  and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.  13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them:  and they were judged every man according to their works.  14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Topics today include divine judgment, the Adversary, and wrath against sin.  Faith, the assurances, proclamations, promises, and prophecies of GOD have the power to convince sinners that they are being accounted as “blameless”, “forgiven” or “sinless”.  Even so, Christian believers are to acknowledge the awesomeness of the law in all its forms with humility, meekness, obedience, respect, reverence, and the righteousness of Jesus Christ—even where the law appears embodied as a newborn baby wrapped in swaddling clothes, and lying in a manger.  The law does not list all the many errors and infractions that are possible, and so requires the application of balance, maturity, and principle.  Similarly, the many forms of sin are not detailed, and a believer must respond to many subtleties (i.e., barely visible details; shifts in meaning and value).  Be they angels, princes, thrones, or sons of Adam, the requirement that all sin be eliminated extends to those hosts and vessels filled with corruption that can not be cleansed and recovered through the operations of divinity.  One of the many fighters at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

Satan is going to heaven and why are you going to heaven, what made you sinless?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.  And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.  Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy:  and nothing shall by any means hurt you.  Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.  In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes:  even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.  (Luke 10:  17-21, King James Version, KJV)

“Anonymous”, mature Christian believers worship the GOD who has put forth all that exists along with life, the frameworks of time and space as well as humankind.  Our Creator is a divinity who is revealed and appears through judgment, justice, divine law, and truth.  Sin is no created or living thing generated by GOD, yet, it may dominate awareness and self-will within created beings and living creatures.  Sin displays direction, effect, and presence, however, may only be spoken of as an “influence”, and lacks the necessary aspects of authority, benefit, and divine purpose to be recognized as an expression of the will of GOD.  Sin opposes the continued existence of sacred law, divine order, the Law Giver, and all Creation.  Because sin is not a process of intellect and reason, we may say sin is “mindless” and promotes chaos, nonexistence, return to the conditions in place before Creation, and self-destruction.  The Adversary (we also say, Lucifer, Satan, the Devil) is an embodiment, a created form, and an incarnation of sin, who is not “all knowing”, immortal, or “all powerful.”  Corrupted by sin, the Adversary comes under divine disfavor and the demand for the total elimination of sin.  In this sense, the judgment against Satan is already decided, recorded, and proclaimed throughout the universe.  Just as Satan and all who follow him in rebellion have duration on the basis of divine prerogative, men upon the earth can find grace with GOD through Jesus Christ whereby they are accounted in judgment as “blameless”, “guilty” yet released from destruction through mercy, or “condemned” and recovered through atonement.  One may correctly say, there are only two kinds of people in the world:  Impenitent and repentant sinners.  Also, while Satan freely roamed in the Garden of Eden and assembled among the Host of Heaven before the throne of the Most High, he will never be privileged to enter the Holy City, the New Jerusalem.  Consider the following from the Bible:

(1.)  Revelation 21:  7-8, King James Version (KJV):  7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.  8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:  which is the second death.

(2.)  1st John 3:  7-9, KJV:  7 Little children, let no man deceive you:  he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.  8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.  9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him:  and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

(3.)  Psalms 11:  5-7, KJV:  5 The LORD trieth the righteous:  but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.  6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest:  this shall be the portion of their cup.  7 For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

(4.)  Romans 3:  19-23, KJV:  19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law:  that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.  20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight:  for by the law is the knowledge of sin.  21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;  22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe:  for there is no difference:  23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  Revelation 20:  4-10, KJV:  4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them:  and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.  5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.  6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection:  on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.  7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,  8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle:  the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.  9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city:  and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.  10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Divine law, sacred authority, sin and the GODhead are among the topics, today.  Also, there is more on the Sabbath.  A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “Brett”  (Level 1 with 180 points, a member since December 25, 2013) posted the following:

Why is God allowed to be above his own law?

THE BATTLE AXE:  To Keep It Holy (02/22/2014)—(5.)  The Sabbath is an event that occurs within spirit, rather than an event that occurs within the framework of time.  The temporal cycles known to mankind are all marked by recurring changes of the moon and the sun (e.g., harvest, planting, days, months, years, the rainy season).  Additionally, continual observance of the Sabbath is a condition for lawful covenant, and an act of covenant-keeping.  The Sabbath is marked primarily by the spirit of worship, and is carnally recognized through light and darkness even on days with rain or snow (i.e., when the sun does not shine, and the stars do not come out).  In spite of being finite, mortal, and dependent upon frameworks of time and space, mankind is further endowed through the Sabbath to have continuous relationship with GOD who is eternal.  The keeping of Sabbath may be an act of faith or an act of obedience, yet, full participation in Sabbath is more than a simple “good work,” or a work of the flesh.  See Exodus 20:  9-11, Exodus 31:  15-17, Isaiah 56:  1-7 and Isaiah 58:  6-14, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Blessed is the man that endureth temptation:  for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.  Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God:  for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:  But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.  Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin:  and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.  Do not err, my beloved brethren.  Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.  Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.  Therefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:  For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.  Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.  But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.  (James 1:  12-22, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Immortality (02/08/2014); The Male, the Female, and GOD (02/09/2014); Sin Causes Death? (02/04/2014); The Fullness of GODhead? (01/09/2014); World Without End? (01/10/2014); We Are Still Sinning? (11/30/2013); Like a Thief? (12/01/2013); Angels, Law and Sin (10/18/2013)

“Brett”, where you are adult enough and strong enough to receive it, here are a few points to consider that are repeatedly overlooked and rejected by atheists, fools, and those harboring an antichrist spirit; however, Christian believers have found them very meaningful:

(1.)  Divine Law.  GOD is a spirit who has put forth all created beings and living creatures as well as their environment and sphere of existence.  Awareness, intellect, eternal purpose, and sovereign-will are inseparable aspects of full divinity.  Therefore, sacred law conveys and expresses the makeup and substance of GOD.  Included are faith, forgiveness, gratitude, holiness, humility, joy, longsuffering, love, truth, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

(2.)  Divine Sovereignty.  The authority of GOD binds (we say, gives cohesion) and maintains the universe as an emanation of divine substance.  Given that GOD is the source of all that exists, all Creation continues as an object to the Almighty, is subservient (we say, beneath GOD), and is totally dependent.  Sentient creatures (those having awareness and self-will) interact with and respond to GOD in such a way that intimate relationship to GOD is possible.  However, such intimacy depends upon peculiar operations of GOD such as atonement, baptism, birth, death, election, incarnation, judgment, rebirth, resurrection, revelation, and sanctification.

(3.)  Condemning GOD.  Among believers, it is usually pride that makes an issue of authority, rather than zeal to finish ones job quickly and smoothly (we say, well done).  It is usually hate that makes an issue of divine love, rather than appreciation and respect.  Sin opposes the continued existence of sacred law, of divinity, and of all things created.  Sin is not a divine substance, or anything that can be detected simply using things of the flesh (e.g., appetite, sensation, mental functions).  Sin may alter and dominate awareness and self-will in created beings and living creatures.  However, sin does not influence divine will.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended. ( For example, (4.)  Limits Upon GOD.  GOD does acknowledge demands  that exist as aspects of being and interaction for the full process of GODhead (we say, of his own inner being); and the Almighty actively maintains the integrity of all divine utterance (we say, out-breathing, outpouring of his holy spirit, the word of GOD).  In this sense, GOD is “allowed” to act above all because there is agreement, oneness, and unity that goes beyond, resides in, and transcends all.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Do they not err that devise evil? but mercy and truth shall be to them that devise good.  (Proverbs 14:  22, KJV)

A few points are shared regarding the Holy Spirit, today.  Also, there is more on science and the best tools for knowledge of GOD.  The writer at “Yahoo! Answers Philippines” using the ID “Noel” (Level 1 with 75 points, a member since December 3, 2013) posted the following first asked at Yahoo Answers Canada:

Why does the Bible tell us not to grieve the Holy Spirit. Why does it also tell us He has a WILL?

Corinthians 12:11. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills.

To grieve is to make somebody sad

THE BATTLE AXE:  Is Science the Right Tool? (12/04/2013)—Just as science cannot explain the existence of sin, or eliminate and put an end to sin, science is not the right tool for discovering the full, revealed truth of GOD.  Properly applied, the applications of science do not generate the spirit essence that is life; however, science may supply products that are vital for nourishing and sustaining life and mortality that have been put forth by GOD.  Truth and reliable standards that will remove conflicts and uncertainty are shared goals for both faith and science.  Statements described as “laws” are generated and established through theorizing, formulating hypotheses, experimentation, and observation that allow scientists to describe finite, regular patterns in the material and social universe, along with their variations.  For the followers of Christ, law derives as the expressed will of GOD, and accomplishes far more than the laws of science.  Faith with sacred law, conviction, discernment, divine promises and prophecies fulfilled, continuing fellowship, joy, love, sacramental practice, the holy writings, and sacred events that display the power and presence of GOD provide the truth that dispels doubt, resolves conflict, heals, removes uncertainty, and wipes away the tears among believers.  See again 1st Timothy 6:  20-21, Isaiah 25:  8-9 and Revelation 7:  9-17, King James Version.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.  For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die:  but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.  The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:   And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.  (Romans 8:  12-17, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Promise of A Spirit? (11/11/2013); Heart, Brain or Spirit? (10/09/2013); The Image of GOD? (10/10/2013); Only One GOD (09/14/2013); Weed and Godly Wisdom (09/15/2013); Why GOD Prayed to GOD (09/07/2013); Utterance is Spirit (09/08/2013); A Start for the Idea of GOD? (09/09/2013)

“Noel”, here are a few points regularly shared among Christian believers that speak regarding the Holy Spirit:

(1.)  For the most complete understanding of the things from GOD through Jesus Christ, believer’s must receive the imparted Holy Spirit that will abide and remain within them.  Also called the Breath of Life, the Comforter, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth, the Holy Spirit serves as divine DNA, so to speak, whereby one is born again, and given divinity as a permanent aspect of their own being.

(2.)  The Holy Spirit does not promote himself; and does not have an agenda that is different, independent or separated from that of GOD the Father, and of Jesus the Son.  In this sense, the Spirit is detached, impartial, and unfeeling with regard to death, judgment, salvation, and sin.  Responding to Jesus, and as his personal agent, the Spirit is experienced in the lives of those inviting Christ.  (Consider John 7:  18 and John 16:  13, KJV.)

There is far more to be said, reasonably shared, and spiritually understood.  (For example, (3.)  The Holy Spirit is a living aspect of full divine being (we say, the GODhead).  The many facets of divinity go beyond merely existing as an object; and properly applying such ideas as authority, glory, “godly sorrow,” “person”, sovereignty, and will we have a more complete and correct awareness (we say, revelation) from GOD regarding how created beings and living creatures are to know and make response to divinity.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8:  12, New International Version, NIV).  Happy Hanukkah to all.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Would you believe in god if you were never taught it?

I think it’s funny how religious people use passages from the bible to prove their point when the people they are trying to prove it to don’t believe the bible holds any power above them. I am a spiritual person. I feel as through there is a higher energy but i don’t think that energy made rules for us to follow and put them in a book. I was not taught to believe in god but the people around me that think the earth was created in 7 days claim that they are the ones that are sane in this world. I don’t care what people believe in but i find it sad that you were taught that believing in god will bring you to heaven and that you will hurt others in the name of god. How about we all get along and just be good people and respect each other. People should think through their own minds not through someone else’s, it’s the only way we will improve

THE BATTLE AXE:  Commandments in the Light of Christ? (10/12/2013)—While the word “hate” does appear in the King James English translation of Luke 14:  26, most Christian believers take its meaning to be “rate others (including those in intimate family relationships) as less effective, less relevant, and lower in value for ones redemption and salvation than is Christ.”  Of course, the Scriptures are speaking about (and to) families where all are in covenant with GOD and Christ, take up their assigned duties, and care for and respect one another.  Believers are not to be hostile to, deny love to, despise, dislike intensely, or direct anger, death and destruction against others in any of their life relationships.  Thus, co-workers, counselors, employees, service persons, all with whom we have contact are looked upon as those for whom Christ has suffered and died.  Just as believers are to share the Ten Commandments as an aspect of their being alive, all are to share the Gospel in word and deeds, even understanding that the loathsome person we see at this moment may be utterly changed when next we see them.  For by that time they may have had their own encounter with the Lord, and conversion by receiving him in faith.  We are not to presume that any is “lost” in the sense of having absolutely no opportunity and possibility to receive from GOD, or totally out of divine reach and sealed within their own sinful nature except after making their own spiritual choices.  Even so, we are not to permit any to hinder our work of correctly preparing ourselves through fellowship with other believers, sacrificial giving, forgiveness, gratitude, praise, prayer, regular study of the Scriptures, and unselfish service.  All believers are called to the work of spreading the Gospel.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Give ear, O my people, to my law: incline your ears to the words of my mouth.  I will open my mouth in a parable:  I will utter dark sayings of old:  Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.  We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.  For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:  That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:  That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:  And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God.  (Psalms 78:  1-8, KJV)

“Regina”, here are a few points for those unfamiliar with Christian belief:

(1.)  As we trust that GOD is the origin for all that exists, we also trust that a right knowledge of GOD must come through actions, events, operations, and process that display a divine nature as well as content having sacred substance.  GOD himself must display himself and show himself (we say, reveal himself) in ways that he remains invisible, yet may be “discovered,” intimately known, and correctly understood.  The Bible is a tool of GOD to convey substance that exists within his own being, and so becomes a great evidence of GOD as well as a device whereby GOD is experienced and internalized.

(2.)  GOD is a spirit who is made up of only divine substance, yet, has put forth created beings and living creatures that exist in a material sphere.  Included in the makeup of GOD are inseparable aspects such as faith, gratitude, holiness, joy, love, truthfulness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  There are multiple levels of difference among and between animals, angels, insects, mankind, and the sacred beasts that exist in the celestial presence (we say, heaven).  Just as humans are able to overcome many of the barriers with animals (we domesticate and train them as pets), GOD is able to overcome many barriers and be in communion with persons whose inward nature (i.e., their spirit that generates feeling and thought) is attuned to that of GOD.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually understood.  (For example, (3.)  The Bible is a starting point for all followers of Christ.  What believers are “taught” only prepares them to learn more, and participate in a very different experience of life that comes from GOD.  Believers must embrace change that is so detailed and sweeping we say, one must be born again from divine DNA, the operation of GOD called baptism.  A person must experience change that does not come merely by intellect, knowledge, logic and reason.  The believer accepts a relationship with GOD that is made present in power through contact with the Spirit of GOD in practices, praise, prayer, and reading the holy writings.)  I trust this fragment will be useful.  Even so, be it unto you according to your faith.  Jesus is coming.

Today, the commandment to honor ones parents is considered in the light of a condition for following Christ.  Also, there is more on  the body we receive for eternal life.  A writer at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Psalm 119” (Level 2 with 985 points, a member since August 22, 2013) posted the following originally asked on Yahoo Answers Australia:

Did jesus teach us to break the 5th commandment?

If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple. Luke 14:26

if you say no, then why do you claim that paul teaches us to break them?

THE BATTLE AXE:  Embodied Afterlife? (10/11/2012)—Many of the teachings from Scripture lead us to believe that the body we receive in resurrection is not the sick or weak frame that we may have had at our demise.  In addition to features believers desire and request in prayer, GOD will bestow features that please him along with the beauty of holiness that was lost through transgression by Adam.  The process of divine revelation will continue whereby each person discovers and realizes new truth.  Although anchored and working upon the earth (rather than living in heaven), mankind will be continually growing, learning and encountering surprise in the celestial presence.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge:  but fools despise wisdom and instruction.  My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:  For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck.  My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.  (Proverbs 1:  7-10, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Gentiles and the Law? (09/19/2013); According to This Word (09/20/2013);  “Authorized Personnel Only”? (03/13/2013); Before Abraham Was… (03/14/2013); What to Take Literally (03/11/2013); A GOD of War? (03/12/2013); On Titles and Respect (03/15/2013); About False Witness (09/09/2012); Nostradamus (09/10/2012)

“Psalm 119”, here are a few points that those who seek the truth of Christ usually achieve by regular prayer, fellowship with mature Christian believers, and long study of the holy writings.  A person may be given these things in an instant, however, it may take a lifetime of practical experience for them to correctly value and fully grasp:

(1)  The words of Jesus must be understood recognizing their agreement with the divine purposes accomplished and displayed through the ministry of Jesus as well by recognition of the sacred Spirit that was alive in Jesus.  The intent and principle of the divine law must be apprehended and discerned as no different from the righteousness that appears through acts of genuine faith.

(2)  Believers in Jesus Christ also receive the Savior as a light that makes all spirit things otherwise covered by darkness appear with clarity.  The Ten Commandments provided to create a new nation from 12 nomadic tribes was also supplied to further divine order throughout the universe of GOD.

There is much for us to learn from Scripture and the imparted, indwelling Spirit of Truth available through the ministry of Jesus Christ.  (For example, family as a tool for existence is not centered in mere mutual affection and feelings, needs for protection, or social dependence.  Under the hand of a GOD whose being is expressed through judgment, family is a tool for demonstrating mercy, proclaiming the law, and displaying the revelation of Divine Person.)  I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.  Jesus is coming.
