One Body Many Parts

 

Today, the reply is on the role of the church as an embodiment of divinity, and whether the church should provide messages on politics and social issues. Often the concerns and conduct we display surrounding such issues as crime, employment, poverty, and voting rights arise from fear, lack of faith, and secular entanglement that oppose the authentic work of Christian growth and spiritual development. By continually pursuing its agenda for redemption, salvation and eternal life the church addresses pressing unmet needs and life priorities that will be fulfilled by no other agencies, authorities, and powers. It is written: Isaiah 60: 14-22, King James Version (KJV): 14 The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee; The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel. 15 Whereas thou has been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations. 16 Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob. 17 For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness. 18 Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise. 19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory. 20 Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended. 21 Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified. 22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time. Update: It’s an evangelical church, he’s a great orator, but will not go down the politics/religion messaging.

JOE”, for many developing and mature Christian believers, the church is to be acknowledged as a sacred process and a divine tool that is used to reveal and make divinity knowable, known, accessible, and approachable by those who are living on the earth. Like divine law that proclaims and makes present the grace of GOD (we also say, divine prerogative), eternal purpose, prophecy, and the sovereign will of GOD, the church is a physical and social embodiment of Jesus Christ who continues communication, exchange, and interaction with mankind by imparting fresh endowments of inseparable spirit substance from the makeup of GOD. Included are balance, faith, forbearance, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

In the same way the Bible is a record of GOD appearing through thousands of human and natural events, within thousands of lives, over the course of thousands of years, the church is an appearing of Jesus Christ today through godly character; commandments, determinations, and principles within sacred law as well as the resolution of conflicts and settlement of sacred disputes through applications of divine law; sacred events (we say, miracles); the endurance of sufferings; and the continuance and fulfillment of divine works. The members of the church will not be everyone whose name is listed as enrolled so much as those who voluntarily become sanctified (set apart to serve divinity) by their commitment, their devotion, their giving and financial support, their repentance, their lifestyles, and their daily living routines.

Those who become “born again” as members within the church must “grow up again,” and become mature/ripe for harvest from the earth by the Lord at his coming. Living on the earth as vessels of divine substance, the offspring of GOD, and heirs with Jesus, the church will face many intense life challenges and “growing pains.” Even so, the church is reinforced with the promises of GOD. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Psalms 34: 17-19, King James Version (KJV): 17 The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. 18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. 19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

2. John 17: 14-19, KJV: 14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. 18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

3. 2nd Corinthians 4: 6-11, KJV: 6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 11 For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

Divinity has provided messages, pronouncements and words to the living that are to establish law, order and peace; to encourage Christ-likeness; to settle disputes and resolve conflicts; to nourish continued discovery, gradual growth, learning, and progression; to demonstrate forbearance, forgiveness, and reconciliation; and to make known eternal and unseen events. The character and process for communication, exchange and interaction by divinity with mankind is decisive, defining, forward-looking, instructive, judicial, and promissory. Divinity acknowledges confession, fasting, intercession, petitions, and supplication from mankind; even so, GOD may not be influenced, manipulated, and persuaded by the actions and speech of the living. GOD has communicated with mankind using sacred dreams, trances and visions along with divine law, covenant relationships, prayer, proclamation, promise, and prophecy. Because the divine intent is immutable and unchanging, revelation from GOD is understood as fixed, permanent, and unalterable. Even so, the single revelation provided to all appears by the use of diversity, fresh endowments, re-statement, and the expression of added possibilities. As sinners who become developing Christians, most of us continue to approach our Creator, Judge, and Savior using the same devices and tools we rely on in our carnal, material, and social living. The operations and process of our awareness and self-will must be transformed to maintain an uninterrupted accord with the will of GOD. In addition to bargaining, negotiating, self-justification (I’m right when I’m wrong, because…) exaggerated pride, and self-promotion (I am holier than the Pope), immature, inexperienced and untried believers will express errors based on secular knowledge, rather than sacred knowledge; hopes that are void of eternal purpose and sacred substance; or overwhelming morbid concerns that include anxiety, damnation, death, depression, fear, perdition, punishment, sin, and the wrath of GOD, rather than his love. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Genesis 28: 20-22, King James Version (KJV): 20 And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on, 21 So that I come again to my father’s house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God: 22 And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God’s house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.

2. Today, focus is on false prophets, the need for divine end time prophecy, and the fullness of sacred revelation through Jesus Christ.  Instruction on the end times are not intended to frighten believers, threaten sinners with death, or cause panic and upheaval among the faithful.  For many, end time prophecy focuses solely on recognizing and responding to current events and conditions that may be seen within the present geopolitical system and world order (we say, signs of the Apocalypse, and that the world as we know it is ending).  Specially sensitive are time prophecies that attempt to calculate and predict a specific day, year, or hour for the return of Jesus to harvest the earth (we also say, his appearing; the Advent; the Rapture; the Second Coming).  While no angel, apostle, disciple, preacher, prophet, or other spokesperson from GOD has been entrusted with, ordained to disclose, or sent to reveal the secret information regarding the Day of the Lord, there have been men and church groups on the earth who—insisting on the authority of the Bible, and the righteousness of their own faith—foolishly have preached a time for the Last Day based on their discoveries through prayerful and scholarly study.  The fighter in the “Yahoo! And playing into the hand of the scoffers of II Peter 3:3-4? Saying “the end is near” repeatedly is like crying wolf when there is no wolf.

“Grandma”, Christians are commanded to not be “troubled” by talk that the “end is near.”  The process of GOD for salvation is not one dependent on the finite human tools of intellect, logic, carnal reason, and science.  Christian believers become joined to GOD through the consciousness and self-will that continues within Jesus Christ, and that present sacred substance in place of the approaches for compiling data, recording observations, and making various tests of the soundness of ones conclusions.  Rather than say, “the end is near,” developing believers proclaim that completion, fulfillment, transformation, and the will of GOD are near.

The Gospel (we also say, good news) proclaimed by Jesus Christ and his followers to advance the revelation of divine fullness (we say, the GODhead; the Trinity; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) includes guidance, instruction, promises, signs, and warnings that enable disciples of the Lord to avoid error, false prophets, and spiritual confusion.  In the same way divinity has appeared through the works of Creation, existence and life, the majesty, righteousness, and sovereign mercies of GOD will appear through judgment, resurrection, and the second death.

Mature Christians who center their awareness on eternal purposes and sacred knowledge will not rely as much on the frameworks of time and space that generate such finite features as destiny, doom, fate, history, politics, science, secular knowledge, and speculation.  The proclamations of GOD received as declarations of love, divine law, promise, and prophecy are as shining truth that always dispels the darkness of “the unknown.”  Sinners who become “born again” are to receive a fresh endowment of inseparable spirit content from the makeup of GOD that includes certainty, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Similarly, the operations of end time prophecy further establish sacred joining and relationship to divinity along with readiness, security, vigilance, and zeal.  Already Christians are to acknowledge they exist as the new creation through Jesus Christ.  Even so, at present, only GOD is immortal and incorruptible (not the holy angels, the sacred beasts of heaven, nor the 24 elders).  Both heaven and earth are temporal, and all the things of heaven and earth will undergo permanent change.  Consider the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Isaiah 65:  16-18, King James Version (KJV):  16 That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.  17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth:  and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.  18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create:  for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

(2.)  2nd Peter 3:  9-14, KJV:  9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.  10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.  11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,  12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?  13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.  14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

(3.)  2nd Thessalonians 2:  1-4, KJV:  1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,  2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.  3 Let no man deceive you by any means:  for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;  4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

The Law and the Prophets

Today, a reply is shared that could not be posted in the “Yahoo! Answers” forum (due to technical problems) on the enmity that exists between those who were held to be the guardians of the covenants of Moses, and Jesus Christ who appeared as an Incarnation of divinity.  That the ministries of Jesus Christ on the earth and from the heaven endorsed and promoted “the law and the prophets” can be seen through multiple sacred events that include the transfiguration, the renting of the veil separating the Holy and the Most Holy place within the Temple at Jerusalem, and the apostles receiving gifts of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost.  One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” forum who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile is shared) posted the following:

“Anonymous”, for mature Christian believers, reports documenting the sacred events (we also say, miracles) and the operations of GOD using Incarnation that appear in the holy writings (e.g., the birth, ministry, transfiguration, death on the cross, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ) must be received as sacred knowledge, rather than creative literature, world history, or secular knowledge.  Ability to correctly discern authentic divine content imparted from GOD (i.e., recognizing and responding to spirit substance and truth imparted from the makeup of GOD) requires that a person use their own spirit content received from divinity as a standard when examining the character, essence, and nature of doctrines, teachings, events, oneself, others, motives, purposes, etc.  In order to acknowledge and properly apprehend the awe and grandeur of GOD appearing and working among us as an active presence (we say, breath, spirit, Word), developing believers must turn away from earthy explanations, and use tools that are not finite.  Souls and the integrity of divinity are at stake.  It is incorrect to ignore divine intent, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD, and to then highlight ungodly elements such as ambition, ceremony, covetousness, money, politics, and exaggerated pride.

The sacred ministry of Jesus did not introduce a new “god”, or never before seen and heard of doctrines and teachings.  Jesus provided a revival of focus on “the law and the prophets” that acknowledged the Spirit of Prophecy (we also say, the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth).  As both Son of Man and Son of GOD, Jesus worked to fulfill promises from GOD to Adam, the Patriarchs, Abraham, Moses, and even David, to restore and perfect the divine nature within mankind.  Even so, corruption of the things given from GOD had rendered Israel blind, and powerless as his “peculiar people.”  The Sadducees—who included the High Priests that ruled within the Temple at Jerusalem and their families dominated the entire nation through the Temple community—opposed the teachings on angels, healing, miracles, prophets, spirits, and resurrection from the dead.  The Pharisees insisted on practices of divine law that required strict obedience as the correct source for sacred knowledge and proper relationship to the Creator.  The revelation provided through Jesus Christ as the Word from the Father declared that, to endure as life companions to divinity, all must receive fresh endowments of the spirit imparted to mankind during Creation.  Included are completeness, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, oneness without sameness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

Consider again the following that uses language from the holy writings:

(1.)  Isaiah 8:  20, King James Version (KJV):  20 To the law and to the testimony:  if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Yeshayah 8:  20, OJB:  20 To the torah (teaching of G-d) and to the te’udah (recorded testimony, see verse 16); if they speak not according to Davar HaZeh, it is because there is no shachar (dawn, light) in them.

 

(2.)  Romans 10:  1-10, King James Version (KJV):  1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.  2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.  3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.  4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.  5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.  6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)  7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)  8 But what saith it? Kehillah in Rome 10:  1-10, Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB):  1 Achim b’Moshiach, the great tshuka (desire, longing) of my lev and my tefillah to Hashem is for the Yeshu’at Yisroel (salvation of Israel).  2 For I can be meid (provide testimony, attest) regarding them that they have a kinat Hashem (zeal for G-d), but not in accordance with saving binah and da’as.  3 For, having no saving da’as of the Tzidkat Hashem (the righteousness of G-d), and seeking to establish their own (that is, self-attained) they have not subjected themselves to the Tzidkat Hashem (righteousness of G-d 1:17; 3:5,21,25-26; 6:18).  4 For Moshiach is the goal of the Torah as a means to being YITZDAK IM HASHEM, for all who have emunah.  5 For Moshe Rabbeinu writes with reference to the (accessibility of) Tzidkat Torah (righteousness which is from the Torah), “The man YA’ASEH OTAM VACHAI (“who does these things will live” by them VAYIKRA 18:5).  6 Whereas the Tzidkat Emunah (righteousness which is from faith) speaks thus:  “Do not say (looking for Messianic salvation being merited by superhuman attainments in works) in your lev, ‘Who will go up into Shomayim?’ (that is, to bring Moshiach down)?  7 Or ‘Who will go down into the abyss?’ (that is, to bring Moshiach up from the Mesim).  8 But what does it say? “The Dvar is near you, in your MOUTH and in your HEART” [DEVARIM 30:14]. His name was Rav Nakdimon, a [Sanhedrist] katzin (leader) of the Yehudim.  2 This one came to Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach under cover of lailah and said to him, Rabbi, we have da’as that you are a moreh from Hashem having come, for no one is able these otot (miraculous signs) to do, which you do, unless Hashem is with him.  3 In reply, he said to him, Omein, omein, I say to you, unless someone is born anew [born again, Yn 1:13; Dt 10:16; 30:6; Jer 4:4; Isa 52:1; Ezek 44:7,9], he is not able to see the Malchut Hashem.  4 Rav Nakdimon says to Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach, How is a man, being old, able to be born? Surely he is not able into the womb of immo a second time to enter and to be born?  5 In reply, Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach said, Omein, omein, I say to you:  unless someone is born of mayim (TEHILLIM 36:10 [9]) and Ruach Hakodesh [YECHEZEL 36:25-27; 37:14], he is not able to enter into the Malchut Hashem [Lk 17:21].  6 That which is born of basar is basar, and that which is born of the Ruach is ruach.  7 Do not marvel that I said to you, It is necessary for you to be born again, born anew.  8 The ruach (wind, Spirit) blows where it wishes, and the sound of it you hear, but you do not have da’as of where it comes from and where it goes [KOHELET 11:5]; so it is with everyone having been born of the Ruach Hakodesh. [YECHEZKEL 37:9]  9 In reply, Rav Nakdimon said to Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach, How is it possible for these things to happen?  10 In reply, he said to him, You hold the teaching office of rabbi, of moreh b’Yisroel and of these things you do not have da’as?

Today, reply is on recognizing end time predictions, false prophets, and authentic divine spokespersons among Christian believers.  All Christian believers are to discover, explore, learn, and experience gradual growth for their own full realization of the truth from GOD provided to mankind.  The things of genuine faith will appear as knowledge that has been applied, repeatedly challenged and tested, yet, shown to be useful among those who are spiritually mature (i.e., who display such features as accountability, balance, commitment, consistency, discernment, sobriety, stability).  Because a believer’s focus must be upon GOD, who will remain invisible and unseen, a believer concentrates more on the fulfillment of the message, and the different signs that confirm its sacred origin, than upon the personality and traits of the messenger.  A fighter in the “Yahoo! “Sharon”, in the same way, the Holy Spirit is sent as an agent of Jesus Christ who does not promote himself, true prophets can be recognized by their not seeking social prominence, self-promotion, popularity, and reward from mankind.  The nature and process of prophecy is the imparting of divine law, proclaiming sacred judgment, providing revelation, and sharing substance from the makeup of divinity (we say, breath, life essence, spirit, Word) more than the providing of threats, warnings, and prediction of future events.  True apostles and prophets sent from GOD will appear as offspring of divinity and joint heirs with Jesus Christ, for they will present the inseparable aspects of spirit content received as a fresh endowment from GOD by rebirth.  Included will be balance, boldness, completeness, faith, holiness, humility, oneness without sameness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

In place of finite human tools such as philosophy, politics, and secular knowledge authentic Christian prophets rely on sacred knowledge, the practice of various divine ordinances and sacraments (e.g., baptism, confession, fasting, praise, prayer, preaching), and the entire range of sacred declaration recorded as holy writings.  The Bible is used as a reliable standard for discernment of spirit substance appearing within oneself, other persons, events, proclamations, prophesies, visions, etc.  Predictions of doom and gloom, and calculations for dates of familiar events that appear in the Scriptures have been useful as important indicators that a prophetic ministry is promoting errors that are not according to the Gospel.

In Christian gatherings, every member of the body should be prepared to share their own peculiar divine gift and contribute to the comfort, nourishment, and encouragement of others.  Even so, their individual offerings are to be in harmony and consistent with the streams of truth clearly acknowledge by the body as a whole.  (All that glitters is not gold; and some elements may be shared in controlled situations and with restraint.  The shared purpose within the church is to maintain and reinforce unchanging things already revealed, therefore, believers often have to leave unspoken diverse challenging and unusual experiences.  The body is not a forum for anything and everything (e.g., dreams, gossip, rumors, slander, suspicion, superstition the occult, uncertainty, witchcraft).  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Deuteronomy 13:  1-5, King James Version (KJV):  1 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,  2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;  3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams:  for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.  4 Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.  5 And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God commanded thee to walk in. Today, a response is shared on the message of reconciliation provided by Jesus Christ, and the ministry of reconciliation to be carried out by believers.  There is an irrevocable condemnation against sin, and a standing sentence of death from GOD that applies to all mankind.  Both judgment and mercy are provided to establish balance against the mechanical specificity and wrath of the law, for correctly understood, the divine law is exceeding excellent, impossible to take an opposing view about and inarguable.  In spite of humanity’s imperfection, inability to independently repent, and lack of a self-will when separate from GOD that can bring about permanent change to correctly resist and eliminate sin, GOD is reconciled to mankind on the basis of the love, perfection and divine righteousness of Jesus Christ.  Mankind is reconciled to GOD “by the death of Jesus Christ” as the living acknowledge the atonement and propitiation for sin purchased with his sufferings, and through his blood from the cross.  More than this, believers are reconciled “by the life of Jesus” as they show themselves to be vessels of divinity through their lifestyles and daily routines that display praise, eternal purpose, sacred knowledge, thanksgiving, and unselfish service.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers (New Zealand)” who uses the ID “witness of jesus” (Level 7 with 222,577 points, a member since March 01, 2007) posted the following:

“witness of jesus”, many Christian believers understand the “reconciliation” of divinity to mankind and Creation as being depicted by the process of lovers who have quarreled, and must “kiss and make up.”  Spiritual confusion often results from that idea, because there is a subtle emphasis upon discounting, dismissing, forgetting, and ignoring sin.  The operations of sin absolutely must be recognized, resisted, and eliminated.  GOD is the origin and source for all that has existence, life, authority, power, presence, and duration.   Sin is no material object or spirit substance, has not been put forth by divinity, yet the operations of sin have “direction” and “effect“, and may dominate awareness and self-will within created beings and living creatures.  Sin opposes the continuation of all divine order established and maintained through sacred law, promotes nonexistence, and restores conditions and patterns in place before creation.

The “reconciliation” demonstrated through the ministry of Jesus Christ is far from being an acceptance or endorsement of sin as a natural, normal condition for mankind.  Sin is contrary to man’s intended character and makeup.  By appearing in flesh as the Son of Man, the GODhead has provided an acknowledgement of existing conditions, the continued excellence of human potential and divine possibility, the need for permanent change, and that only through divinity asserting accountability can there be recovery for Adam from the fall, and salvation that restores mankind as a companion to immortal, incorruptible GOD.  In the same way, GOD is to be seen as accountable, mankind is to manifest a new level of integrity, and acknowledge his own level of accountability.

The ministry of “reconciliation” through Jesus Christ is the ongoing transformation of mankind, and the imparting of Eternal Life through fresh endowments of sprit substance from the makeup of GOD.  Included are faith, forbearance, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Sinners must experience rebirth that entails the death, burial, and resurrection of their inherited, inborn spirit (we also say, breath, life essence, word).  While the divine invitation through grace is “come as you are,” it is to be understood, the sinner may not “stay as you are.”  Those “born again” also must “grow up again” as vessels of divine spirit upon the earth.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Genesis 6:  5-8, King James Version (KJV):  5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.  6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.  7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.  8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

(2.)  Genesis 18:  23-26, KJV:  23 And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?  24 Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city:  wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?  25 That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked:  and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee:  Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?  26 And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.

Today, reply is made to the error that Christian belief primarily is intended for those who are simple-minded.  The good news of salvation is to be proclaimed even to those who are despised and poor; however, in no way are we to dilute the message or “dumb-it-down.”  The greater growth will be seen among those having faith and humility above those having title and secular knowledge.  Rather than on the basis of academic achievement, scholasticism, and intellectual sophistication, salvation in Christ is granted on the basis of divine grace, the desperate need of created beings and living creatures to be in a new relationship with divinity, and the willingness of sinners to respond to the Incarnate ministry of GOD.  Direct, plain and unadorned speech are most correct for delivering and marking instruction as  godly and sanctified, and as derived from a consecrated Spirit instead of from the flesh (i.e., appetite, sensation, emotion, imagination).  The  divine message may be simple because its power to change the makeup, nature and substance within the living is profound.  One of the fighters at “Yahoo! 7 Answers (Australia)” who uses the ID “Anonymous” and refuses to share profile information, posted the following:

“Anonymous”, Christianity is one of the most challenging systems of belief and thought that has ever existed.  Many who disbelieve, and count themselves as “atheist” or “scientific” do so thinking they have higher intelligence, and that Christian belief is anti-intellectual.  More correctly understood, Christianity does not condemn exploration, growth, and learning.  Rather, Christian belief opposes death, hypocrisy, ignorance, pretension, presumption, exaggerated pride, and pseudo-intellectualism.  Along with the idolatry that appears when secular knowledge is exalted as equal or superior to sacred knowledge, many who follow human error will display self-promotion that denies the authority and ongoing operations of divinity.  They do not grasp the simple truth that sin does not exist as a material or physical thing, yet, sin has direction, effect, and presence.  The operations of sin may dominate awareness and self-will in living creatures and created beings.  By promoting annihilation and non-existence, sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the divine Law Giver, and the divine order that exists as the universe.  The notion that GOD prefers those who are emotional, ignorant or submissive is promoted only by those lacking discernment and their own integrity as born-again believers.  Consider the following from the holy writings:

(1.)  1st Samuel 2:  2-4, King James Version (KJV):  2 There is none holy as the LORD:  for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.  3 Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth:  for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.  4 The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength.

(2.)  Matthew 23:  13, KJV:  13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men:  for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

(3.)  2nd Timothy 2:  12-16, KJV:  12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him:  if we deny him, he also will deny us:  13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful:  he cannot deny himself.  14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.  15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  16 But shun profane and vain babblings:  for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

(4.)  1st Timothy 6:  17-21, KJV:  17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;  18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;  19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.  20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:  21 Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  Ecclesiastes 12:  12-13, KJV:  12 And further, by these, my son, be admonished:  of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.  13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:  Fear God, and keep his commandments:  for this is the whole duty of man.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
