Today, focus is on the operations of divine Spirit vital to Christian belief.  Every mature Christian believer began in a spiritual condition of darkness, disinterest, ignorance, immaturity, and infancy; each one had to gradually acquire the things of full Christian life.  Discernment and single-minded concentration are important when acquiring sacred knowledge, pursuing study of the holy writings, and comprehending doctrine.  Even so, the primary need of a believer is edification that comes through prophecy, not education that comes by secular studies, by relying on carnal reason, or by  promoting the Flesh and the World.  One of the fighters at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

Do you believe it is right to teach young children only one religion, or would it be more fair to let them decide what to believe?

I was told Jesus was my savior all my life when i was young and I wish i had known more about other forms of religion and science.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Thorns and snares are in the way of the froward:  he that doth keep his soul shall be far from them.  Train up a child in the way he should go:  and when he is old, he will not depart from it.  (Proverbs 22:  5-6, King James Version, KJV)

“Anonymous”, children are to be exposed to the same doctrines and truth shared with their parents—while they are growing, not after they are grown.  It is not a matter of “mysticism” or “mumbo jumbo” to speak of sinners becoming the new creation through Jesus Christ; even so, it is difficult to make it all sound simple.  Growth and increase as a Christian believer require unceasing divine operations (e.g., praise, prophecy, rebirth, sacrifice, sanctification, suffering) and the repeated completion of sacred practices (we say, sacraments) that establish ones awareness and self-will in continuous contact with divinity.  Carnal, material, secular, and social life experiences rely on finite human tools such as intellect, logic, critical thinking, philosophy, science, and sensations.  By contrast, there must be a full immersion of ones character, spirit aspects (e.g., integrity, oneness without sameness, person, presence), and substance before they are enabled to apprehend the broad range of sacred laws, eternal purposes, spiritual truths and subtleties (i.e., barely visible differences; hidden and sudden shifts in meaning, quality, and value).  As a “born again” believer, the sinner must receive deposits of spirit content from the makeup of GOD.  Included are faith, forbearance, holiness, humility, gratitude, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Obedience permits unseen contacts, interactions, and movements among the inseparable aspects of life essence (breath, spirit, word), and the believer is able to acquire necessary divine order and patterns for consistency and stability without having detailed explanations.  Additionally, a believer must build up their “discernment” (the ability use ones own endowment of spirit from the makeup of GOD to correctly recognize and respond to the same spirit residing within events, other persons, the holy writings, etc.).  Consider again the following from the Bible:

(1.)  Malachi 3:  14-18, KJV:  14 Ye have said, It is vain to serve God:  and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?  15 And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.  16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another:  and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.  17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.  18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

(2.)  1st Corinthians 2:  7-14, KJV:  7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:  8 Which none of the princes of this world knew:  for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.  9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.  10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit:  for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.  11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.  12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.  13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.  14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:  for they are foolishness unto him:  neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Hebrews 5:  12-14, KJV:  12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.  13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness:  for he is a babe.  14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, focus is on the teachings that GOD has the power to be present in all places (omnipresence) and exists within all things (pantheism).  The aspect of divinity whereby created beings and living creatures come to know and interact with their Creator is spirit matter, rather than carnal, material and physical substance.  The attributes and properties of spirit allow the appearance of divinity in multiple events, forms, and sacred operations, at the same time, in different locations, yet, without division or separation.  The writer at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Abdul Malik Ishak Bin Madihi” (Level 1 with 92 points, a member since May 11, 2015) posted the following:

If God is omnipresent, does that mean God is in hell?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth:  for the Father seeketh such to worship him.  God is a Spirit:  and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.  (John 4:  23-24, King James Version, KJV)

“Abdul Malik Ishak Bin Madihi”, the frameworks that must be used to correctly understand the character, makeup, nature, and substance of divinity center in the existence of GOD as spirit, rather than carnal, material, social, and temporal like created beings and living creatures on the earth.  Time and space are less useful ideas, and aspects of appearing as Creator should be relied on that include lawful authority, comprehensive consciousness, the “essence” of life (we say, breath, spirit, word), oneness without sameness, ownership, unseen sacred process, preeminence, and sovereign will.  Thus, becoming aware that GOD is present and knowing the presence of GOD require more than merely applying ones senses (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching); employing the finite tools of emotion, imagination, intellect, logic, philosophy, and science; or responding to measurable physical dimensions (e.g., depth, height, length, weight).  Christian believers are not offended or surprised that the actualities and possibilities of divinity also include “incarnation” (using human form to appear among mankind).  Even so, few agree to the teaching that GOD is in all things (pantheism).  Where the divine nature is active and present it should be possible to “discern” (i.e., use spirit standards) to recognize and respond to Deity.  As when a drop of fruit juice is added to a full glass of milk, one may say, I have juice and milk, however, the juice will be undetectable until it has been added in such measure that it then determines how the content of the glass is known.  The color, smell, and taste must become recognizable as juice.  So, also, the “measure” of GOD within a vessel should become recognizable following sacred operations to add the imparted, indwelling Spirit (we say, the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth).  Consider the following:

(1.)  John 3:  1-7, King James Version (KJV):  1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:  2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God:  for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.  3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?  5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

(2.)  1st Peter 1:  18-22, KJV:  18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;  19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:  20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,  21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.  22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:  23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.  24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:  25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, Scripture points are shared on doubt, salvation, and spiritual growth.  Athletes who achieve as great runners all begin as babes who may wobble and fall when they first begin to stand.  Like such babes, the followers of Jesus Christ also gradually develop to their full strength.  The holy writings include many teachings that encourage believers to receive their salvation as a dynamic process of growth, not simply a one-time event.  (For example:  Romans 1:  16-18, King James Version (KJV):  16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ:  for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.  17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith:  as it is written, The just shall live by faith.  18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;  19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.  20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:).  Where salvation is accepted as movement from faith to faith there is directed change and passage through multiple levels of relationship.  One of the many fighters at “Yahoo! If I doubt my salvation does that mean I’m not saved?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,  According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:  Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises:  that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.  And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;  And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;  And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.  For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.  Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure:  for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:  For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  (2nd Peter 1:  2-11, KJV)

“Anonymous”, one may be saved, and yet (like “new born babes”) not be an effective worker in the ministry from Christ.  The operations of doubt are often called “analysis paralysis,” and give one an appearance of idleness, ignorance, immaturity, and indecisiveness.  The forms of doubt include disbelief, distrust, hesitation, skepticism, and uncertainty.  Like sin, doubt opposes the continued existence of divine law, the completion of duty, obedience, and fulfillment of prophecy.  Doubt dampens and quenches the imparted, indwelling Spirit of GOD, thereby rendering a believer impotent, useless, and vain.  A person who lacks commitment, sacred knowledge, and is not anchored and disciplined by their duties, sacraments and truth, eventually will display backsliding, falling away (apostasy), and no growth or increase of spiritual authority and power.  Christian believers all are challenged and confronted by changes, distractions, errors, and opposition from unseen influences and “winds” that include the Adversary, ones own changeable emotions, pleasures, and wrongdoing.  Sinners must acquire faith, develop discernment (ability to recognize spirit content from the makeup of divinity within events, motives, opportunities, other persons, themselves, etc.), and maintain focus upon eternal purposes.  Only through such divine provisions do we become anchored and have unshakeable conviction.  Consider again how some of this is stated using language from the Bible:

(1.)  1st Peter 2:  1-5, King James Version (KJV):  1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,  2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:  3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.  4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,  5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

(2.)  James 1:  5-8, KJV:  5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.  6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.  7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.  8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

(3.)  Hebrews 5:  12-14, KJV:  12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.  13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness:  for he is a babe.  14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

There is far more to be said, carefully examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Ephesians 4:  11-16, KJV:  11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;  12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:  13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:  14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;  15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:  16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, points are shared fitting together the ideas of death, divinity, forgiveness, sin, and spirit.  Meat, rather than the “sincere milk of the word” is presented to provide a more developed perspective on now familiar ideas.  Benefit, duration, and quality are added to life through intimate relationship that supplies such elements as acceptance, hope, humility, forgiveness, gratitude, joy, resilience, unselfish giving, sacrifice, truth, and wisdom. Divine law does not destroy sin, yet, through sacred law sin is exposed and made an object in consciousness that may be overcome through operations of the imparted, indwelling Spirit received in baptism.  Where life may be depicted as movement that results from unwanted change and inconsistency (directing all that exists toward recovery of balance, completeness, order, peace, perfection, stability, and unity); sin must be depicted as chaotic and random motion directed to confusion, emptiness, non-existence, perpetual ruin, and the unfruitful stillness that is death.  Divinity continues to value the Creation of heaven and earth that has been put forth as an expression of exalted being, eminence, grace, and sovereignty.  Therefore, provisions have been established that see death undone through resurrection; and sin may be “undone” through salvation, rebirth, and renewed godliness.  A fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Hashim” (Level 2 with 560 points, a member since May 12, 2015) posted the following:

Why do Christians believe God needs to die to Forgive our Sins…?

Is sin more powerful than a God’s life,?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  (For until the law sin was in the world:  but sin is not imputed when there is no law.  Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.  But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.  And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift:  for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.  For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)  Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.  For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.  Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:  That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.  (Romans 5:  13-21, KJV)

“Hashim”, to correctly understand the character, nature, and processes of divinity, a person must carefully assign value to (we say, judge) many profound themes and transcendent truths that describe multiple subtleties (i.e., barely visible differences; hidden shifts in meaning and value) of life experience.  In general, our finite tools for managing emotion and intellect (e.g., logic, mathematics, philosophy, science) are not sufficient to immediately apprehend the full range of ideas that clarify the meaning of “spirit”, and that maintain the peculiar awareness, consciousness and knowledge generated by spirit as an active power.  There are more points to consider than I may list here, however, the following should be useful for your further study:

(1.)  GOD is a spirit—not a mere abstract idea—who displays recognizable attributes (e.g., active presence, authority, glory, holiness, immortality, immutability, person, purpose, purity, wisdom, wrath against sin) that allow divinity to interact within relationships among created beings and living creatures.

(2.)  The framework of time and space present life as temporal—experienced as disconnected, discreet episodes, events and occurrences.  For the living, lasting significance and eternal value must be established using a different framework.  Therefore, life experience also includes birth, death, loss, maturation, rebirth, sacrifice, sharing, and suffering.

(3.)  Sin is no material thing having measurable dimensions (e.g., depth, height, length, weight); is no living thing; does not express love or show preference; and contains no spirit substance from divinity.  Even so, sin has direction, effect, and presence; and may dominate awareness and self-will (we say, will power) within created beings and living creatures.  The operations of sin appear as natural and normal aspects of ones inner being, therefore, they are not recognized as contrary to ones nature, foreign, and strange until damage and loss become undeniable.  While sin opposes the continued existence of divine law and does not obey the divine will, sin can not control, influence or manipulate divine will.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually taken into account.  (For example, (4.)  Sin may not be simply eliminated or removed from the earth without catastrophe, devastation, and upheaval throughout the entire universe.  Sin threatens the destruction of things unknown and unshared among men, and angels that can never be replaced.  Through the ministry of GOD appearing in the flesh as Jesus Christ (we say, the Incarnation), the sacred essence conveyed through the mechanism of blood is applied for atonement, redemption, and salvation.  Included are such aspects of spirit as breath, comfort, promise, prophecy, the spark of life, truth, will and word.  The living may receive fresh deposits from the makeup of Deity that allow them to recognize, reject and resist sin.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith and spiritual maturity.

Today, some points are shared on what it means to have life, and what is means to have the Son of GOD.  Life for the human body is maintained through mechanical activity, movement, and processes of material consumption and growth such as circulation, elimination and respiration.  Life for the mind requires continuous cycles of activity and rest that include formulating expression for such elements as emotion, imagination, fantasy, intuition, recall, reflection, and thought.  In a similar way, life for ones spirit requires uninterrupted sacred process such as confession, forgiveness, praise, repentance, speaking truth, study of the holy writings, and unselfish service to GOD.  Through the ministry of Jesus Christ as Son of the Highest, believers receive new relationship to the Creator, and enter into the process of life for divinity and those receiving the Savior’s eternal spirit.  The fighter at “Yahoo! He who as the Son as life, the bible says this, so they have life now, right?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.  He that believeth on him is not condemned:  but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.  And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.  For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.  But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.  (John 3:  16-21, KJV)

“Ruth”, the Gospel According to John, Chapter 20, closes with the following words:  And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:  But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.  Here are a few points—that are meat, not milk—intended for those who believe that may clarify the word from GOD made Incarnate:

(1.)  Because those who are saved are being embraced by GOD, who is spirit and who is using a process that is eternal, every aspect of how believers are to experience and understand existence is being changed and transformed.  Believers are still upon the earth, and must deal with features of others and themselves that are carnal, material, physical and social.  However, their awareness and inner spirit content, that determine and govern operations of self-will within created beings and living creatures, have been permanently altered.

(2.)  Understood as spirit substance from the makeup of divinity, life is the exchange, interaction and movement among inseparable spirit matter such as faith, forgiveness, holiness, love, person, possibility, presence, purpose, truth, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Only those having a fresh endowment of the spirit essence imparted from GOD to Adam (we say, breath of life; the Holy Spirit; the Word), will appear as the offspring and vessels of divinity.

(3.)  In the same way cadavers (dead bodies) and rocks exist, yet are lifeless, created beings and living creatures may continue and endure, yet, contain and display no aspect of divinely begun change.  Holy angels, who are not mortal, are not immortal, and may continue only by divine grace and sovereign prerogative.  Similarly, the aspects of life revealed through the person of Jesus as an intimate relationship with Deity, are now available to mankind only by divine grace and sovereign will.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  As a spiritual condition and relationship to Deity, eternal life has already begun for those who are born again through baptism, and may be spoken of as “growing again,” and coming to maturity.  Through continuing sacred operations such as atonement, forbearance, judgment, rebirth, resurrection, and sanctification believers are to become perfect, made immortal and incorruptible.  These have eternal life now through unbreakable covenant, promise, and prophecy; and are those who will be received by Jesus at his coming to share as eternal life companions.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to the measure of your faith.

Some thoughts are shared on how the word of GOD can appear to be altered by created beings and living creatures.  Also, there is more using the idea of milk and orange juice to describe salvation and GOD living inside us.  Consider again the words from Jesus:  This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.  But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.  (Matthew 15:  8-9, King James Version, KJV)  Because believers understand the divine word as an appearance (we say, incarnation) of Divine Person, many assume that the word of GOD must be final, fixed, immutable, and unchanging as GOD is.  Many agree that men may not change GOD’s word, yet, are in doubt on whether GOD may change his own word.  On the one hand, GOD is a spirit having all authority and sovereign majesty, and who appears using many different forms.  On the other hand, even Almighty GOD is believed to be bound and restricted by his own word, and can not annul, cancel, contradict, or go back upon the truth he speaks and voices.

(07/11/2014)—(4.)  The gradual transformation mankind must undergo as salvation also may be described by using the glass of milk with juice.  In effect, GOD is thirsting for a glass of pure orange juice; however, obeying divine law for the natural order, the milk may not be altered, and at no time is the glass to be empty.  Filling the glass with orange juice may be accomplished by continuing to add juice one drop at a time.  At first, there will be no visible change where one will stir in the new content.  At some point, the drops of juice will begin to force milk to splash out of the glass; and later, as the milk and juice congeal, the two will become a sour, ugly and unattractive mess that no one would dare to drink (we say, it becomes “good for nothing”), and that will require considerable effort to clean up as it flows to a countertop or onto the floor.  Even so, by continuing to put in drops of juice, the milk will eventually be completely emptied from the glass; and a glass of pure orange juice will remain.  Where mankind is to serve as a permanent companion to divinity having eternal life, believers first must become immortal and incorruptible.  Humanity is presently filled with such finite tools for earthly survival such as algebra, astrophysics, biochemistry, complaining, deceit, genetics, intellect, logic, lying, mathematics, philosophy, reason, and science.  Earthly features will have to be replaced by aspects from the makeup of GOD such as faith, forgiveness, holiness, joy, longsuffering, love, truth, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Through Jesus Christ, GOD has  begun to deposit and pour forth continuing streams of divinity that are to reside within mankind.  The transfer of sacred substance is being accomplished by the use of divine mechanisms and sacred operations that include baptism (death of ones inborn spirit, rebirth having divine DNA, so to speak), fellowship in the church, practice of sacraments, prayer, preaching, and regular study of the holy writings.  At first, there may no visible change, or a stable condition for the believer.  As their infilling continues, they also reach a point where they are surrounded by a mess demanding clean up, and believers will appear “good for nothing.”  Even so, where they will continue in humility responding to the ministry of GOD, at the appearing of Christ, every believer who was once filled by the flesh and by sin, will be completely filled with the Holy Spirit.  See again Joel 2:  28-30, Acts 2:  1-4, Romans 8:  1-11, Ephesians 5:  17-19, Colossians 1:  9-20, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For when God made his promise to Abraham, since he could not swear by anyone greater, he swore by himself,  14  saying: “I will surely bless you and I will surely multiply you.”  15  So after Abraham had shown patience, he obtained this promise.  16  For men swear by someone greater, and their oath is the end of every dispute, since it is a legal guarantee to them.  17  In this same way, when God decided to demonstrate more clearly to the heirs of the promise the unchangeableness of his purpose, he guaranteed it with an oath,  18  in order that through two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to the refuge may have strong encouragement to take firm hold of the hope set before us.  19  We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, both sure and firm, and it enters in within the curtain,  20  where a forerunner has entered in our behalf, Jesus, who has become a high priest in the manner of Mel·chiz’e·dek forever.  (Hebrews 6:  13-20, New World Translation (2013 Revision) )

(1.)  While the word of GOD should not be spoken of as flexible, open to manipulation, or plastic, neither is the word exacting, rigid, and severe.  The word of GOD is directed to abundance, inclusion, life (rather than death), order, perfection, and permanence.  The word is rich and supple by virtue of balance, diversity and comprehensiveness.  The holy writings document the operations of GOD who has appeared among mankind through thousands of lives, over the course of thousands of years.  Various agreements, covenants, messages, statements, and utterances are recorded as commanded, directly expressed, and delivered from GOD through chosen agents and spokespersons who were carefully purified, set apart (we say, sanctified), endowed, and acknowledged through sacred events (we say, miracles).

(2.)  The word of GOD has appeared in multiple forms that are not all directed to the same discrete focus, or intent.  Thus, every word of GOD respected as Scripture does not bear the same weight and significance.  Nor do all have the same aspect of duration.  Many statements must be read as specific to the context of their own eternal purpose, as appropriate only to peculiar divine operations, as applicable only for named actors and their location as well as being confined to those meeting the spiritual conditions for relationship with divinity.  Consider again:  Blessing is not cursing; comfort is not exhortation; doctrine is not vision; history is not liturgy; praise is not proclamation; principle itself is not sacred law; prophecy is not promise; the good news of the resurrection is not the same as the gospel declaring gifts from the Holy Spirit; the apostolic witness to confirm the experience from Pentecost is not the same as the testimony of Jesus (the revelation of Jesus Christ that GOD gave unto him to deliver unto his servants).

(3.)  Each word from GOD is like a multifaceted jewel.  Many surfaces together create a single brilliance and color by operating both in agreement and in conflict at the same time.  Thus, the sternest word expressing divine wrath also conveys reassurance of divine love:  Admonition is also the expression of care and concern.  Law is also healing.  Reproof is also instruction.  Scolding is also opportunity for growth and improvement.  What at first may appear as contradiction later may be seen providing layers of correction, and levels of enlightenment.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Most of the things promised are sure, because they are upon the oath of GOD.  By contrast, the things proclaimed and prophesied are less certain of fulfillment, because they may depend upon occurrence of a specific sequence of events, or the appearance of otherwise unrelated conditions.  Spiritual confusion and error repeatedly develops regarding law and the things commanded (e.g., love ye one another; remember the Sabbath; turn the other cheek), because often they are taken to be circumstantial, conditional, and temporal.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to the measure and operations of the faith and love from GOD within you.

The imparted, indwelling Spirit, and whether one may be out of communication with GOD are the topic, today.  The “Yahoo! Answers” fighter using “?” as their ID (Level 1 with 55 points, a member since May 31, 2014) posted the following:

Because God lives inside us all, is it ever possible to lose track of God?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?  Seeing thou hatest instruction, and casteth my words behind thee.  When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.  Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.  Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother’s son.  These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself:  but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.  Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.  Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me:  and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.  (Psalms 50:  16-23, King James Version, KJV)

“?”, here are a few points to consider that should come with mature Christian belief.  Those “born again” must “grow up” again, and become mature by meeting life challenges and “growing pains”:

(1.)  In the same way people do not all have the same abilities, interests, talents, and skills, created beings and living creatures do not all contain the same measure of divine substance whereby they are in the relationship as sons and daughters to GOD.  Many are creatures made by GOD (like cats, dogs, horses), yet, not children of GOD.

(2.)  Where a glass contains only cold milk, one could say, It is “pure” milk.  However, by adding a single drop of orange juice, one could say, The glass contains both juice and milk.  Because there is so little, presence of the juice could remain undetected.  The amount of juice is not enough to alter the appearance and other characteristics for the content of the glass (e.g., color, fragrance, taste, temperature, texture).  Similarly, it is possible for either the presence of divinity or sin to appear in ones life expression having sufficient proportion to determine the character for the content of ones awareness and self-will.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Divinity has revealed and supplied to the living multiple devices and operations that establish and maintain ones consciousness of GOD.  Included are baptism (death of ones inborn spirit, rebirth having divine DNA, so to speak), covenant relationship, divine law, forgiveness, love, continuing practice of sacraments, praise, prayer, promise, repentance, and sanctification.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to the measure and operations of the faith and love from GOD within you.
