Today, reply is on mankind’s inheritance from GOD through Jesus Christ, covetousness, and the Parable of the Rich Fool. While, from the beginning, man was to exist having accountability and ownership over things carnal, material, and social, correct relationship to divinity also was to continue through exchange and interaction of spirit substance imparted from the makeup of GOD. Included were faith, forbearance, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Dominion over the earth, and many of the gifts bestowed on mankind as an offspring of divine fullness (we also say, of divinity; of the Godhead; of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), were lost through human disobedience, distrust and self-will. Mankind has received a fresh endowment of life essence (i.e., breath; spirit; word) imparted from divinity through the ministries of Jesus Christ to replace the sacred inheritance and divine spirit substance lost by Adam through transgression. Hi Im Catholic from Poland today in my church ware two readings Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 from Old Testament and Luke 12:13-21 ” The Parable of the Rich Fool” from New Testament.

I know that in Catholic Church in my church the are the same readings across the World..

I Attend church regularly but only in recent 5 or 6 years i start to read the Bible, to which priests, (Oblats (OMI) very good priests from my parish encourage parishioners

But i wonder what is about in that Passage someone ask Lord Jesus to ask his brother to share inheritance what is wrong with that?

Do we need to be poor to be good Christians, Catholics, Protestant, Orthodox whatever?

To not ask someone for our money?

James 4: 13-17, King James Version (KJV): 13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: 14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. 15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. 16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. 17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

The Blessing From GOD

 

Today, the reply explains that blessing and relationship with GOD require that the living be active and not passive.  It is a sin and a serious error among followers of Jesus Christ to think that our greatest need is money, and not that we become truly Christ-like.  The process of GOD as our Creator is one both to become known, and come to know the full potential and possibilities of the created.  Human means and resources (e.g., manpower, money, secular knowledge) are to be used to address human needs and problems, rather than seeking to call forth sacred events (i.e., miracles), sacred knowledge, and returning to GOD his own divine answer in place of one that puts forth godly humanity.  Thus, the process of GOD for mankind includes discovery, duty, expectation (we say, hope), gradual growth, learning, unselfish service, waiting, and works.  One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” Religion and Spirituality forum using the ID “Sebastijan” (Level 6 with 13,019 points, a member since February 16, 2016) posted the following:

 

Why exactly does the church need money?

“And whatever you ask in prayer, you will recieve, if you have faith.”

So why would the church need money from its congregation when they could simply pray and receive anything they need?

Or does god not grant their prayers because they don’t have enough faith? If that case, what is the point of the church in the first place?

“Sebastijan”, mankind was created to exist as a life companion, an instrument for performing the divine will, and a vessel containing divine substance along with GOD who is immortal and incorruptible.  Man is to operate in the divine presence displaying accountability, balance, obedience, responsibility, respect, stability, trust, and truth.  Relationships between the Creator and the created beings and living creatures of the earth all are ordered and structured in accordance with the fact that divine fullness (we say, the GODhead; the Trinity; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) exists as an active presence (we say, breath, spirit, word) who has put forth existence, life, and the material universe.  GOD makes divinity knowable, known, accessible and approachable by using elements that include divine prerogative; specific eternal purposes; expressions and imperatives of sovereign will (we say, divine law); recurring patterns for communication, exchange and interaction (we say, mechanical, natural, and interpersonal or social laws); fresh endowments of spirit substance that may be imparted from the makeup of GOD (e.g., faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, righteousness, wisdom, wrath against sin) as well as the multiple levels of consciousness, maturity, and self-will that may appear within the living.  Mankind is to operate displaying integrity as a living entity who is independent and separate from the Creator; who is not an equal or peer to the Creator, yet, may exercise authority, autonomy, choice, self-direction, and self-expression similar to that of the Creator; and who displays self-government while acknowledging being under the government of GOD.

The GOD of Creation is also a GOD of judgment.  Creation as a process of forming and establishing new objects, procedures, and standards entails the continual assessment, examination, monitor, and review of multiple inputs, operations, and outcomes for the living and their spheres of life (environments).  Additionally, there is divine judgment to determine the content, duration, quality, value and utility for all that has been put forth.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Psalms 115:  15-16, King James Version (KJV):  15 Ye are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.  16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’s:  but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

(2.)  Isaiah 45:  18-19, KJV:  18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited:  I am the LORD; and there is none else.  19 I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth:  I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain:  I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

Today, reply is on how Jesus dying on the cross has been an atonement and propitiation for the sin of mankind.  While we say Christ “paid” for sin or “purchased” mankind, it should be understood, we are not speaking about buying and selling, responding to credit and debt, or other earthly financial transactions.  Rather, we speak to how Christ has responded on mankind’s behalf to the demands and sanctions contained within the fullness of divine law regarding the obligations and penalties for sin.  Sin is no ordinary physical object, and is not itself an expression of divine spirit; nevertheless, responses to sin require interactions of human makeup and spirit substance.  Carefully chosen language is used that speaks of the “blood of the lamb” and a sacrifice by the Son of GOD, yet, what must come into view is the imparting, reconfiguring, and regenerating of the spirit matter to establish existence and life that has been included within the makeup of mankind from the makeup of divine fullness (we say, the Creator; the Godhead; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit).  To satisfy the law, mankind must receive a fresh endowment of inseparable spirit such as faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  The fighter in the “Yahoo! “2017”, with Christian believers, the process of GOD for salvation is one both to atone for and cover sin within the lives of mankind as well as to restore and perfect mankind to exist having eternal life.  The elimination and removal of sin from the earth can not be completed relying only on the workings of finite human desire, secular knowledge, and will power.  Sin does not exist as a carnal, material, or common object we may touch with our hands, or see with our eyes.  Even so, sin may dominate awareness and self-will within created beings and living creatures.  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Lawgiver, and all divine order throughout the universe.

The operations of sin among the living disrupted mankind’s intimate and personal communication, exchange, and interaction (we say, relationships) with divinity that were provided through Creation.  By disobedience and transgression of divine law (i.e., the expressed will of GOD), the first pair (the male and female; Adam) lost their consecration as companions to immortal, incorruptible divinity.  In addition to becoming stripped of exalted benefits and privileges, mankind was made to be mortal (subject to death); and lost the one-of-a-kind access, authority, dominion, and power that had been granted as their divine inheritance.

Man became a living soul by the imparting of life essence (we say, breath; spirit; word) from the makeup of divine fullness (we say, the GODhead; the Trinity; the Father, the Son, and The Holy Spirit); and it is the special condition of man being more than flesh and bone by containing divine substance that requires multiple sacred operations to address sin.  While sin is no “thing” created by GOD, displays no spirit content, and has no measurable dimensions (e.g., height, length, weight), sin has direction, effect, and presence.  GOD exposes and makes sin known through sacred devices that include baptism (the death, burial, and resurrection of ones inborn spirit); divine law; Incarnation (divinity appearing in human form as Jesus Christ); and providing fresh endowments of inseparable spirit content such as faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Only through Jesus Christ has it become possible to have remission of sin by the application of holy blood.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

Today, reply describes the sacred process of GOD for salvation as a transformation of ones spirit content that should not be compared to the buying and selling of material goods.  Those set apart as his “peculiar people” are held accountable as those who help each other meet all their human needs.  While it is true, the followers of Jesus are spoken of throughout the Bible using language that describes believers as an offering, a cash-crop ripening for harvest and sale, refined gold, servants, and sheep, men do not come to GOD as chattel and souls purchased using money as though slaves at auction.  He who owns and “possesses” the lives of men as their Creator also has “purchased” the lives of men through operations we speak of as atonement, rebirth, redemption, and sacrifice.  One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! “Anonymous”, be encouraged!  Those who belong to Jesus Christ enter into an organic, personal relation with divinity wherein divine fullness (we also say, the GODhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) is experienced as active and present.  Deity is no longer to be regarded as an abstraction, an academic concept, or another secular idea.  GOD is a spirit, and sinners seeking GOD must employ a new framework that accounts for the many inseparable aspects of spirit substance that includes faith, forbearance, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. 

The holy writings collected as the Bible present the new language and “way of thinking” that should appear among Christians.  Sinners who become “born again” (i.e., experience the death, burial, and resurrection of their inborn spirit from GOD) receive divine DNA, so to speak.  As “offspring” of GOD, they  acquire “an inheritance” that further makes them fit to be known as the sons and daughters of GOD.  The Scriptures themselves contain and impart aspects of divine spirit, and therefore, will nourish godliness, growth and life experience within developing believers on the earth.   The Scripture instruct developing believers using much of the same sacred knowledge and principles of belief used by Christ and all his disciples.

The process of GOD for believers who are to appear as the new creation through Jesus Christ is one of discovery, edification, gradual growth, and learning.  Throughout the Bible expressions appear from finite human events that are intended to describe sacred covenant relationship and other possibilities for exchange, interaction, and joining to divinity in oneness without sameness.   However, the plain and simply worded things, there, also are profound (deep; having broad impact; far-reaching in their application).  Just as disbelievers often do, developing believers can  misapply or misunderstand the intent, meaning, and value of statements put forth as guidance, proclamation, promise, and prophecy.  Correctly understood, created beings and living creatures must rely upon GOD to complete the many operations, establish meanings, and supply all the sacred substance that must appear.  Language devices from poetry are used for beauty and elegance (such as consonance, metaphor, simile), however, they sometimes result in misapplications by those not yet mature in their studies of divine law, sacred history, and other truth from GOD.  Thus, readers must be careful to continue their focus on things of the spirit even when words are used like “poverty”, “riches”, and “wealth”.  Appetite and carnal needs may not be the primary feature being spoken of.  Consider the following from the Bible:

(1.)  Philippians 4:  19, King James Version (KJV):  19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

(2.)  Zechariah 13:  9, KJV:  9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried:  they shall call on my name, and I will hear them:  I will say, It is my people:  and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

Today, reply is to a teen on giving as a sacrament and sacred discipline within the body of Christ.  The questions I respond to in this sacred writings blog usually are taken from an Internet site that serves as a public forum.  While the writers there often are insulting by accusing divinity, making use of sarcasm, or even deliberately blaspheming, many pose questions very close to those I once asked as a young Christian believer, and that continue as hidden, suppressed and unasked among some who are long-time church members.  In the church, giving is a duty, an obligation, and a privilege that further establishes sacred balance, interdependence, maturity, and stability.  Money may serve as an emblem and token for a broad range of offerings that include allegiance, effort, esteem, labor, possibilities, reverence, and amounts of time.  Abundance and plenty promote confidence, joy, and security; and giving expresses eternal purpose and love by adding and imparting value to the beloved.  A fighter at “Yahoo! Why is money even a thing with church?

I know I’m only 15 and Adults think teenagers don’t know anything, but this time I think it’s the adults who are blind. Recently I stopped going to church with my mother because I started to find the collection bowl for God’s offering and the pastor’s offering offensive. I mean like what does God want with money? Nowhere in the bible does God ever ask us to render money unto him. So I ask the office lady at my Church what happens to the money collected as the Church and she says “Electricity, water, upkeep and other programs like the deconess breakfast don’t pay for themselves.” I then ask her why the pastor needed an offering and she said “The pastor is a hardworking man and we have to give what we can to help him out.”

At this I ran out the church with my head sweltering. I mean why would we call an offering that’s going to the church bank account an offering to God? It smells heavily of bait & switch. And then why would we give the pastor ANYTHING? A priest is supposed to spread the word because God commands his heart, not to line his wallets. To that end I thought priest were supposed to live a humble life never accepting money for themselves? It makes it seem like Church is more a business than a school of God. I don’t think money should have anything to with Church because it brings greed and corruption.

“Anonymous”, here are some important ideas for developing believers.  Giving within the church to the church is a work of faith.  Correctly understood, sinners become members of a church so they may be continually and regularly nourished and supported while they are being permanently changed and transformed through divine operations by the imparted Spirit of GOD.  Many of us have experienced and participated in programs offered by Christian congregations and assemblies of faith as aspects of our own family life, and a special form of inheritance from our parents or other caretakers.  In many cases, such beginnings have been only carnal, material, secular, and social.  Thus, we repeatedly hear, You must be born again.  There must be the death and burial of the inborn spirit, with resurrection having divine DNA, so to speak.  Well-meaning, yet, vain (lacking spirit substance) practices often are brought into the place for service and worship as though the church is only another community recreation center.  Thus, it is difficult to apply discernment (i.e., correctly recognize and respond to spirit content from the makeup of GOD that will appear within sacred events, oneself, other persons, prophecy, the holy writings, etc.).

In the same way obedience—putting aside ones own will to carry out and perform the will of another—is one of the most recognizable expressions of genuine love (and so is acknowledged in the vows of holy matrimony), other unmistakable marks of mature love among Christians are accountability, commitment, continually acquiring sacred knowledge, and outpourings of gratitude, respect, and thanksgiving.  The Holy Spirit must impart inseparable aspects of divinity to those who are “born again,” and they must “grow up again” enduring challenges, “growing pains,” and even suffering with Christ.  Included are faith, holiness, joy, hope, meekness, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Because every believer does receive some measure of fresh spirit content, believers are accounted as a new creation through Jesus Christ having oneness without sameness.  There can be great diversity within a congregation, for all do not have the same level of knowledge, maturity, and willingness to unselfishly serve.

Salvation is carried out and completed through divine operations, rather than through application of finite tools such as feelings, intellect, logic, philosophy, and science.  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and the Creation grounded in sacred law.  Because the living accept sin as natural, normal, and in no way contrary their own makeup, sin may dominate awareness and self-will (willpower) within created beings and living creatures.  Sin can not influence or manipulate the divine will; thus, the living are granted fresh endowments of divine will to reinforce their character, focus, and process when identifying and resisting sin.  Through the Spirit, giving, stewardship, and other forms of service are aspects of sacrament (sacred practice), and are no longer inappropriate, irritating, and upsetting.  By continual practice, the discipline and order within the community of shared spirit is to become “second nature” like breathing in and out.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  Proverbs 19:  16-18, King James Version (KJV):  16 He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die.  17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.  18 Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying.

(2.)  Proverbs 19:  22, KJV:  22 The desire of a man is his kindness:  and a poor man is better than a liar.

(3.)  James 2:  14-19, KJV:  14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?  15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,  16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?  17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.  18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works:  shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.  19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well:  the devils also believe, and tremble.
