Baptism and Fire

The image depicts Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego purified in the fiery furnace.

Today, reply is on salvation for sinners being primarily through the life and works of Jesus Christ, rather than by a believer’s own experience of water or fire baptism. The name of Jesus (i.e., his completed, ongoing, and yet to be finished works that are the basis of his reputation as sent from GOD) is to be acknowledged as a full and sufficient divine provision for remission of sin on earth as it is in heaven. It is written: Acts 4: 12, King James Version (KJV): 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. How do we reconcile TWO baptisms into “one” (Ephesians 4:5) when there’s a water baptism and a Holy Spirit baptism?

Update: @ANON

JESUS SAID IN MARK 16:16 >>>”HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISM”<<<

>>>”SAVES!”<<<

OTHERWISE YOU ARE

>>>”DAMNED!”<<<

YOU JUST TOLD JESUS TO “SHUT UP” WHICH IS “BLASPHEMY” (MATTHEW 12:31-32)

AND ARE

>>>”DAMNED!”<<<

“REPENT!”

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. Norine”, there are only one baptism and one resurrection from death that can be acknowledged as joining mankind to divinity in rebirth, redemption, and salvation. Just as the presence of Jesus Christ within the fiery furnace preserved the companions of Daniel (Shadrach Meshach and Abednego), those who would have forgiveness for sin and reconciliation to GOD must have the presence of Christ in the life. Consciousness and self-will (willpower) within sinners and developing Christian believers must undergo permanent changes through operations of the Holy Spirit so that they completely abandon the inborn, self-centered process of heart and mind that is an obstacle to realizing the new creation. While all are to be held accountable for the fruitage they themselves produce by word and deed, they also must come to the sacred knowledge that atonement for sin, and the fresh endowment of life essence (breath; spirit; word) available from divinity are gifts bestowed on the basis of lovingkindness, divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a presentation on readiness for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ from the music ministry of Debra Barnes and the Barnes Family:

(1.) Hebrews 6: 1-3, King James Version (KJV): 1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, 2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3 And this will we do, if God permit.

(2.) Romans 6: 3-13, KJV: 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed from sin. 8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. 10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. 12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

(3.) Colossians 2: 8-13, KJV: 8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: 11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

Abel Offering a Lamb

A painting that depicts the priesthood of both Abel and Cain

Today, reply is on the divine inheritance of priesthood that was bestowed on Adam and his sons. Because mankind continued to exist for millennia responding to the active presence of divinity, the holy writings provide no accounts that report or suggest that males became pregnant and gave birth to children, or that there were widespread appearances of social behavior for Adam and among his offspring that are presently understood as undermining continuous spiritual communion. Conflicts, divisions, and spiritual confusion increased through the rise of cities and the movement toward one-world empire that resulted in the founding of Babylon and Egypt. It is believed that the downward spiral of spiritual awareness, exaggerated pride, human self-will, and sin progressed very slowly as did the changes that occurred throughout the earth once mankind was thrust out of Eden. Present day practices did not likely appear such as casual and premarital sex, divorce, incest, same sex relationships, and the issues of transgender sexuality. The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” Religion and Spirituality public forum using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information appears) posted the following:

According to genesis, we all come from Adam & Eve, who had 3 sons?

Think about it and take all the time you need.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth: And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters: And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died. Anonymous”, for developing Christian believers, it is important to understand that the account of divine Creation and the early development of mankind that appears recorded in Genesis provides more than a description of how divinity is the origin of the animals, insects, fish, and plants that are living on the earth. The holy writings are to be received as a detailed revelation from divinity that makes the character, operations, and substance of GOD knowable, known, accessible, and approachable. With this in view, consider the following points:

1. Adam, the first “living soul” was created through the joining of a material figure fashioned by GOD using soil from the earth and life essence from GOD (we also say, breath; spirit; word). Adam was to exist as a life companion to immortal, incorruptible divinity (we say, the Creator; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit). He is called a son of GOD, because the man was a vessel containing sacred seed (we say, divine DNA; inseparable spirit matter imparted from divinity).

2. The male and female humans (Adam and Eve) existed as a single unit before GOD (we say, a pair called Adam), and were to serve like the animal and other pairs as the mechanism for the earth becoming fully populated having diverse life forms and kinds. The pair was to establish and maintain relationships as family, however, not in the forms and social expressions we see today. Adam, who lived on the earth for nearly 1,000 years, was to operate as the patriarch and head of the human family.

3. By covetousness, transgression of divine law, and transferring their allegiance and trust away from GOD to a created thing (i.e., idolatry; exalting the serpent), the pair became stripped of their endowments that appeared as sacred benefits, spirit content, and divine privilege. More than this, they became subject to the penalties of hardship, mortality, suffering, and the second death that had been declared as sanctions of the law.

4. There could be no “do over” for the many divine acts of Creation, yet, divinity would fashion and reconfigure mankind as a new creation by permanently altering his endowment of spirit from the makeup of GOD. Multiple operations were introduced by GOD to recover mankind and preserve Creation. Included were atonement for sin; forgiveness; the establish of priesthood on the earth patterned after that in the heaven; remission of sin through sacrifices of blood (a carnal device used to distribute life throughout the members, organs, and tissues of created beings and living creatures); divine promise; prophecy and sanctification as well as the manifesting of sacred grace, mercy, divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and sovereign will.

5. Prophets are spokespersons from GOD who speak his word; only priests are those anointed and authorized to present offerings and sacrifices of blood upon a consecrated table (holy altar) or within a sanctified house that is the point of contact between heaven and earth. Not all the sons of Adam served as heirs to the priesthood of Adam; thus, at first, only those who continued the line of priests are named in Scripture (Abel, Cain, Seth). There appears to have been no service as priests by Eve and her many daughters.

6. Both Abel and Cain “grew up in the church,” so to speak. Both were taught the correct way to build and dedicate an altar; both were taught to pray and worship; and both were taught the correct way to present offerings and sacrifices. The conflict between Abel and Cain that finally resulted in fratricide (killing ones own brother) is to be discerned as the truth that they did not both receive, and obey the imparted Spirit from GOD. Divinity acknowledged the sacrifice that was more pleasing as that of Abel.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 7. The sacred inheritance Adam received and was to pass on to his own sons was one of priesthood. The entire Bible is a record of the beginnings of divine ministry to the earth, and its continuing development using family, tribes, covenant relationships, kingdom and monarchy, praise, proclamation, and fulfillment of prophecy. While the holy writings report the operations of GOD appearing on the earth through thousands of events within thousands of lives over the course of thousands of years, the continuing focus remained the salvation of mankind and their transformation to exist as immortal through the Incarnation and priesthood of Jesus Christ.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Priestly Sacrifice
A depiction of Adam as High Priest making sacrifice for atonement that must be received by GOD through fire from heaven.

Today, the Bible is discussed as a record of the divine priesthood in heaven appearing on the earth through mankind.  Those in the office of prophet are to serve as spokespersons in the relationship between GOD and mankind while only those consecrated to serve in the office of priest are to offer blood for the remission of sin.  From skins to holy garments, from the blood of circumcision to the blood of the cross, the priesthood has performed the works of atonement, manifesting the active presence who is GOD, and countering the operations of sin through divine provisions.  A writer in the “Yahoo! Answers” forum using the ID “Jim” (Level 1 with 90 points, a member since December 21, 2015) posted the following:

Whose idea was it to create the Bible?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,  As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:  If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.  To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,  Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.  Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious:  and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.  Unto you therefore which believe he is precious:  but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,  And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient:  whereunto also they were appointed.  But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;  Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God:  which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.  (1st Peter 2:  1-10, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  The Divinity of “Word” (01/26/2018); What Would Moses Say? (10/27/2017); Christ Our High Priest (10/25/2017); The First Book of the Bible? (11/20/2014); The Beginning of Wisdom? (11/21/2014); Recognizing True Prophets (05/02/2013); Jesus, A Party Animal? (05/03/2013)

“Jim”, the Bible began through what we call “oral tradition” before the development of reading and writing.  Adam and others of the Patriarchs lived for nearly a millennium (1,000 years); and it is thought that worship was held “in the gate” (i.e., at the entrance) to the Garden of Eden, and in the witness of the angel posted there.  In addition to understanding the Bible to be a written record of GOD revealing divinity to created beings and living creatures by using thousands of events within thousands of lives over the course of thousands of years, another important way for Christian believers to apprehend the many streams of truth from the Bible is to acknowledge that the holy writings document the development on earth of the sacred priesthood from heaven that is carried out and performed by Jesus Christ as High Priest within the Temple of Heaven.

The priesthood of Jesus as Son of the Highest was demonstrated to Adam, and shared with mankind replacing their lost inheritance.  Through the mechanism of the priesthood the offspring of Adam would become the new creation; would continue as “joint-heirs” with Christ; would receive words of comfort, promise, and prophecy to be proclaimed and repeated to future generations; would be granted sacred knowledge to practice the mysteries of atonement and propitiation for sin; and would continue the sacred work of reconciliation.

Many Christians believe that, under the guidance through Moses, the many oral traditions held among the Hebrews who formed the tribes of Jacob were blended with those from the mixed multitude that left Egypt.  In order to survive the years of famine, the Egyptian people and many others literally sold their land, their livestock, and themselves as slaves to Pharaoh.  As absolute ruler over a one-world empire, Pharaoh presented himself as a false god.  Details of the idolatry, occult practices, and impure worship that existed among the Egyptians were carefully separated from the doctrines and teachings that were to be a platform for a new nation and covenant people of GOD.  The Pentateuch that serve as the first five books of the Bible establish the pattern for all authentic holy writing.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Genesis 3:  21, King James Version (KJV):  21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

(2.)  Exodus 28:  1-3, KJV:  1 And take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.  2 And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty.  3 And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron’s garments to consecrate him, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office.

(3.)  Hebrews 7:  11-17, KJV:  11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?  12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.  13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.  14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.  15 And it is yet far more evident:  for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,  16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.  17 For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

(4.)  Hebrews 7:  21-28, KJV:  21 (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)  22 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.  23 And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:  24 But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.  25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.  26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;  27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s:  for this he did once, when he offered up himself.  28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  [For example, (5.)  Hebrews 9:  19-24, KJV:  19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,  20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.  21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.  22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.  23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.  24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:]  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, reply is on why salvation requires more than forgiveness of sin.  Divine operations on multiple levels are required to continue and restore relationships of the Creator with created beings and living creatures.  In addition to betrayal, covenant-breaking, and transgression of the law, sinners deny GOD through violations of their own and divine purity as well as of sacred trust.  Finite acts that rely on human knowledge, logic, carnal reason and willpower can neither expose and permanently eliminate sin, nor reestablish love, respect, and the unselfishness essential for oneness without sameness.  With forgiveness there also must be a sacred use of blood to remove sin (we say, remission), to apply life essence (we say, breath, spirit, word), and to convey continuity, duration, eternal purpose, virtue and righteousness from the Son of GOD.  Answering the demands of divine law, fulfilling promise and prophecy, there must be atonement, propitiation, and a transfer of sin onto a disposable or “neutral” body.  Through Jesus Christ, divine operations have come into view that include both the embodiment of divinity and sin (we say, Incarnation) upon the cross; the depiction of mortality completed and sin destroyed along with resurrection, eternal life, judgment and the second death.  A fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Mr” (Level 5 with 7,185 points, a member since October 04, 2010) posted the following:

Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds.Did”God” say he had to die for our sins when all in reality he could have just forgivenUs?

Update:  Ever living and dies and ever living again, there is no such entity/being ever existed. If one is ever living no death could ever come near.God is eternal and ever living that flat out mean no interruption for even a period.

Update 2:  For a man is possible to forgive and for God that is not possible??? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgN6kONT...

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;  Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:  Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;  To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness:  that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.  (Romans 3:  23-26, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Forgiveness, Grace and Merit (06/22/2017); Atonement, Repentance and More (06/06/2017); Convinced/Convicted? (05/16/2017); Proclaiming A New Kingdom? “Mr”, those returning to GOD through Jesus Christ are accounted as a “new creation.”  With our Creator, an apology and promise not to disobey again are not enough:  words must be armored with deeds and divine substance.  To avoid spiritual confusion it is always important to acknowledge that such elements as grace, divine law, sin, forgiveness, atonement, and remission are not physical devices or objects that appear in ordinary transactions like purchasing food at the grocery.  For salvation, operations on multiple levels must be carried out that are exchanges and interactions of spirit substance within the makeup of GOD.  Included are faith, forbearance, holiness, hope, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

Sacred events must occur, rather than those that are simply abstract, carnal, intellectual, material, mechanical, secular and social.  Forgiveness that is important to continuing relationship where covenant agreements and law have been violated does not do the same work as confession, rebirth, repentance, sacrifice, and sanctification.  The language used to abbreviate and simplify talking about what are applications of exalted authority, eternal purposes, and expressions of sovereign will is often misapplied and misunderstood.  Consider again the following from the holy writings:

(1.)   Ezekiel 18:  20-24, King James Version (KJV):  20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son:  the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.  21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.  22 All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him:  in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.  23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GODand not that he should return from his ways, and live?  24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned:  in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.

(2.)  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

(3.)  2nd Corinthians 5:  17-21, KJV:  17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:  old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.  18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;  19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.  20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us:  we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.  21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  1st Peter 1:  18-23, KJV:  18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;  19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:  20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,  21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.  22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:  23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, that there are multiple divine operations for salvation is in view.  Jesus Christ has appeared among men on the earth to provide access to divinity through blood that serves for cleansing, joining in unbreakable bond, reconciliation, and sealing covenant as well as for proclaiming the new testament law.  A fighter at “Yahoo! Christians, if you can repent to God directly then what’s the point of Jesus taking up your sins?

Is it not contradictory to say otherwise?

Update:  If Jesus died then repentance is not needed

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For a testament is of force after men are dead:  otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.  Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.  For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,  Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.  Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.  And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.  It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.  For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:  Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;  For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world:  but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.  And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:  So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.  (Hebrews 9:  17-28, King James Version, KJV)

“Anonymous”, sacred knowledge and revelation shared through Jesus Christ must be carefully considered, here.  The process of GOD for restoring sinners to healthy relationship with divinity is more than a simple verbal act of confession and apology by the wrongdoer.  While Christian believers try to describe the sacred operations for salvation using ideas and language that is plain, clear, yet, memorable, overcoming sin in the life occurs on a cosmic scale that must immerse the consciousness and the self-will of a sinner under the grace and sovereign will of Christ, who is King of Creation.  The totality of spirit substance distributed throughout the universe must be reconfigured, and the transgressor must be made a new creation, so to speak.  Blood must be discerned and recognized as a sacred tool that conveys and transfers life within diverse created beings and living creatures that exist as emissions and projections from the makeup of GOD who is a spirit.  Even so, death must be understood as a sacred tool necessary for putting forth life through process of rebirth and resurrection.  Atonement and the remission of sin through blood have to do with oneness without sameness, and communication among the persons of GOD, as do applying the sanctions within divine law, forgiveness, judgment, mercy, and the imparting of spirit gifts.  Certainly a believer must make godly choices and decisions, and correctly carryout specific sacred practices (e.g., baptism, praise, prayer, worship); however, their salvation is far from a matter of relying upon finite human tools such as intellect, logic, philosophy, or science.  The permanent changes required are not accomplished by exercise of mere human will power.  Multiple divine tasks and determining operations must be completed including the embodiment of sin and divinity (we say, Incarnation), the fulfillment of promise and prophecy, rebirth, sanctification, and the second death.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  Galatians 2:  20, King James Version (KJV):  20 I am crucified with Christ:  nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:  and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

(2.)  Romans 6:  3-4, KJV:  3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?  4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death:  that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Good-Conversation.jpg

Today, points on the importance of divine truth and Christian conversation are shared.  As never before, Christian believers are to practice and maintain restraint and spiritual self-discipline to respond to challenges and confrontations from those who want to openly deny Christ, and boldly express malice toward the Savior.  Even within our assemblies, congregations, and communities of faith, there are such persons increasingly desperate for comfort, sacred knowledge, and saving truth.  Without making angry responses, cutting remarks, and counter attack, mature believers will carefully share the same truth they themselves acknowledge as sent forth from GOD.  Only thereby will the Son of GOD come into understanding as a sacrifice and a required aspect of atonement and remission for sin on the basis of supernal perfection, eternal purpose, and unseen sacred operations, rather than because of his form or substance as flesh and blood.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Michael Vicks Dog” (Level 6 with 11,649 points, a member since June 06, 2016) posted the following:

If god is Jesus, and they are both immortal, how the hell was Jesus pretending to die a sacrifice? Was it because there was a little booboo?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.  But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.  This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.  For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.  But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.  And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.  (James 3:  13-18, King James Version, KJV)

“Michael Vicks Dog”, the haughtiness and lack of respect in the way you have worded your statement indicates you are not willing to respond to instruction from the Holy Spirit, therefore, this reply is being posted less for you, and more on behalf of those readers who want an honest response that would meet the standards set for Christian believers:

The imperatives dictated by the existence of divinity (we also say, law, divine order, preconditions) are simple, yet, profound.  The operations for duration as immortal, incorruptible, and invisible are different in many ways from those critical to appearing in flesh (we say, incarnation).  When Deity appears using human form, divinity must operate acknowledging frameworks of time and space, natural law, recurring cycles, and ongoing relationship that demand communication, exchange and interaction.  While GOD must operate using distance and separation to assert authority, preeminence and sovereignty, there are multiple indications of divine acceptance and favor.  Included are atonement, correction, forbearance, forgiveness, healing, longsuffering, lovingkindness, grace, mercy, sacred events (we say, miracles), promise, prophecy, and sanctification.

In the system of Christian belief, divinity is the primary origin and source for all the assumptions, principles, precepts, propositions and essential purposes that supply meaning and value.  Both “actuality” and “possibility” are essential to the necessary fullness of truth pertaining to divinity, and to the godliness that may be displayed by created beings and living creatures.  Saying this another way:  The continuum of truth embraces the word originally breathed from GOD as having completed and fulfilled the eternal purposes whereunto it has been sent as well as the word continuing to have active presence within the various spheres of life, and to be now in process for future harvest and resolution (we say, the Advent, the Rapture, the Second Coming).  The persons of the GODhead (Father, Son, the Holy Spirit) are not the sources of disbelief and doubt that oppose Christianity.  Consider again the following using language from the Bible:

(1.)  1st Corinthians 2:  11-14, King James Version (KJV):  11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.  12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.  13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.  14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:  for they are foolishness unto him:  neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

(2.)  1st Corinthians 12:  3-5, KJV:  3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed:  and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.  4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.  5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.  6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

(3.)  1st John 2:  21-23, KJV:  21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.  22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.  23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father:  [but] he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

(4.)  2nd John 1:  7, KJV:  7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. The richness of divine revelation, sacred process, and the cross are in view, today.  Scriptures are shared to show that remission of sin requires more than ceremonies using animal blood to expunge ones condemnation, guilt, shame, and standing as unrighteous acquired through sin.  It must become possible for created beings and living creatures to correctly discern and recognize the surpassing authority, power and sovereignty of GOD in every aspect of the unfolding.  The Son of the Highest must become the embodiment of sin, and be destroyed upon the cross.  Through grace, mercy in judgment, and transformation that amounts to rebirth, Jesus must become one with and reside within every disciple and follower who will embrace him as Savior.  As depicted by the Lord’s Supper that uses the emblems of bread and wine, there must be a “breaking” and reconfiguration within a unified body of unseen consecrated bonds (we say, the GODhead), and the believer’s ingestion of spirit substance that may rightly be spoken of as eternal life.  One of the many fighters at “Yahoo! Answers” who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information provided) posted the following:

Christians, what does the remission of sins mean? based on bible.?

Update: Thanks for all the wonderful answers given here, well informed, and students of the Scripture and very thorough–reading all these answers, has given me nuggets, from all of the scriptural responses here. Thanks to everyone who took the time to respond.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;  From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.  For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.  Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us:  for after that he had said before,  This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;  And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.  Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.  Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,  By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;  And having an high priest over the house of God;  Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.  (Hebrews 10:  12-22, KJV)

“Anonymous”, through the death of Jesus Christ upon the cross, many mature Christian believers understand the remission of sin is a formative operation of divinity in judgment carried out by the Holy Spirit.  The active presence and eternal purposes of GOD are revealed in such expressions as atonement, deliverance, divine love, forbearance, forgiveness, grace, mercy, reconciliation, sacrifice, godly sorrow, and suffering.  Those whom Jesus will harvest from the earth as “ripe” at his appearing (we say, the Advent, the Rapture, the Second Coming) will have been “born again” and “matured again.”  Divine love is not “unconditional” in a way that eliminates judgment.  The errors, offenses, and sins of the beloved will continue to appear within the Books of Life and other sacred records such as the Bible; however, the meaning and value of such accounts will be transformed.  Thus, the errors of Moses, David, and Solomon are no more to be erased or removed than the nail prints in the Savior’s hands.  So to speak, because of, and not “in spite of ” their sins, believers will be granted status as “blameless”, “redeemed”, “resurrected”, and “sanctified”.  Consider again how these ideas are shared using language from the Bible:

(1.)  Mark 1:  3-5, King James Version (KJV):  3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.  4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.  5 And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.

(2.)  Hebrews 9:  19-22, KJV:  19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,  20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.  21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.  22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

(3.)  1st Thessalonians 5:  19-24, KJV:  19 Quench not the Spirit.  20 Despise not prophesyings.  21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.  22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.  23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.  24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

There is far more that should be said, must be carefully examined, and spiritually understood.  (For example, (4.)  Matthew 26:  26-29, KJV:  26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.  27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;  28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.  29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
