Today, reply is on the proper focus for investigation and study among Christian believers. Sinners are not saved simply by acquiring more knowledge, nor are believers saved by continuing in carefulness and worry. Being those who receive salvation as a free gift and the expression of divine love, developing and mature believers are not required to become all-knowing and omniscient regarding the things of GOD. Believers need not continue to pose questions on every detail of divine operations and sacred events, need no longer continue making doubtful projections intended to foretell the future, and should no longer speculate about the possibilities for events that have only finite meaning and value. Through the holy writings that record appearances of GOD upon the earth using thousands of events, within thousands of lives, over the course of thousands of years, divinity has presented a complete agenda and syllabus to those seeking salvation; and the major aspects of sacred truth we now require have been summarized. Included are admonitions and warnings; covenants; divine law; histories of priestly families, tribes and nations; prophetic demonstrations; principles for communication, exchange, and interaction as sacred communities; examples from the ministry of Jesus Christ; gospel testimonies; and end time revelation. It is written: Revelation 1: 1-3, King James Version (KJV): 1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: 2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. As far as God is concerned, are there questions we shouldn’t ask? Or is everything on the table?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. (Matthew 6: 33-34, King James Version, KJV)

Evokal”, revelation is the sacred process wherein divinity willingly makes themselves knowable, known, accessible, and approachable to created beings and living creatures. Curiosity and the human desire for secular knowledge (e.g., intellect, logic, philosophy, carnal reason, science) arises from aspects of the flesh, while the appetite for sacred knowledge arises from the inseparable aspects of spirit we receive as a fresh endowment from the makeup of GOD. Included are faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. The guidance and instruction from GOD provided to mankind through the holy writings do include many admonitions and warnings against meddling, exaggerated pride, and presumption. Many seek knowledge displaying what is called “vainglory” (i.e., in order to boast, compete, manipulate others, and subordinate their peers). Those who are impenitent and insist on the operations of sin in their lives reject the necessary atonement and remission for sin provided through Jesus Christ as our High Priest. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Ecclesiastes 5: 1-2, King James Version (KJV): 1 Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil. 2 Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.

2. Numbers 15: 29-31, KJV: 29 Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them. 30 But the soul that doeth aught presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people. 31 Because he hath despised the word of the LORD, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.

3. Proverbs 9: 6-10, KJV: 6 Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding. 7 He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot. 8 Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee. 9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning. 10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

4. Colossians 3: 1-4, KJV: 1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended (for example, 5. Revelation 22: 16-21, KJV: 16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. 17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. 20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. 21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Come Let Us Reason

Today, reply is on the process and value of prayer among mature Christian believers. Many Christians think of prayer as a sacred device to privately share their own personality, thoughts, and inner understanding with GOD. For them prayer is confessional, contemplative, and intimate. Even so, it remains that every believer eventually must genuinely apply, display and respond to all the sacred gifts and inseparable aspects of divine fullness bestowed on themselves. What otherwise would be secret and unknown will be openly shown as commitment, righteousness and unselfish service. One of the fighters in the Religion and Spirituality public forum at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “✞ 2 …hunter” (Level 7 with 45,435 points, a member since August 18, 2011) posted the following:

Christians, what is prayer and why do it?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. (Acts 4: 31-33, King James Version, KJV)

“✞ 2 …hunter”, the GOD who is our Creator is also a divinity that continuously performs judgment to determine duration for the things created according to their full spirit content and effect in sacred operations. Among Christian believers the operations of prayer are vital to the appearance and manifestation of created beings joined together as a church and spirit body filled with substance from the makeup of GOD, and permanently joined to one another. As vessels that contain aspects of divine fullness (i.e., the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit), developing Christians are to exist on the earth as the children and offspring of GOD, joint heirs with Jesus Christ, and the new creation. Included are inseparable aspects of divine fullness such as faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Prayer affirms the integrity and sacred personhood within the living that permits communication, exchange and interaction with divinity, and that acknowledges divine authority, dominion, prerogative (grace), eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. The living make requests of divinity as the origin and source for all that pertains to godly change, existence, growth, and nourishment. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Isaiah 55: 7-11, King James Version (KJV): 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

2. Colossians 1: 9-20, KJV: 9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; 12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. 19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; 20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. James 5: 13-20, KJV: 13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. 14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. 17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit. 19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; 20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

What Thy Right Hand

Today, reply is on the secrecy of fasting, giving, praise, and other practices to acknowledge divinity. The spirit of GOD within a believer must affirm and declare its own sacred origin and source. Authentic expressions of Christian devotion, gratitude, and praise are marked and recognizable through their absence of self-promotion; their respect and reverence toward divinity; and their heartfelt and genuine acknowledgment of divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

Did Jesus really say negative things about people who want to publicly show that they pray to God?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God. Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and thou seest not? wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, and exact all your labours. Behold, ye fast for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye shall not fast as ye do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high. Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the LORD? Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy reward. Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity; And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noon day: And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. (Isaiah 58: 1-11, King James Version, KJV)

Anonymous”, in the course of becoming full and mature members within the household of faith, developing Christian believers commit multiple errors in their practices of giving, praise, prayer, and sacrifice. Where carnal, material, secular and social concerns are uppermost, a believer is likely to perform an elaborate display to impress others that will be vain (i.e., lacking in spirit substance from the makeup of GOD). Properly understood, making gifts and offerings to GOD always are to be acts of humility and submission by a believer within a continuing personal relationship with divinity provided through divine prerogative (grace), eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. The sharing that occurs between divine fullness (we say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) and the believer is “secret” in the sense that it is otherwise hidden and unseen acknowledgment directed primarily to GOD. Exaggerated pride, showing-off, and vainglory appear as transgression and violation of divine law in the same way as conduct that is not according to faith, and as foolishness. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Isaiah 42: 1-3, King James Version (KJV): 1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. 2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. 3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.

2. Matthew 6: 5-8, KJV: 5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. 7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. Matthew 6: 16-21, KJV: 16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; 18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly. 19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

According to his purpose

Today, reply is on the continuing acknowledgment of divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD that appears in Christian prayer. To become a Christian is more than simply be a part of a casual or loose association of neighbors. To become a Christian is to become a member within a sacred priesthood. Therefore, the prayer uttered by a believer should display their correct sacred knowledge of divine process, of properly displaying reverence to divinity, and of the workings of prophecy. The content and focus of prayer is to be the shared divine purpose. Prayer as leaders and workers within the body of Christ may be expected from mature believers endowed with spirit substance from GOD more than from those who are yet developing whose primary concerns continue to center on oneself and ones own family. Prayer in accord with the will of GOD does not express ambition, covetousness, envy, exaggerated pride, selfishness, and other works of the flesh. All Christian believers are recruited to serve divinity in roles that include judges who administer divine law and sacred judgment; kings who govern and rule as agents of the dominion; pastors and shepherds who maintain consecrated flocks; priests who offer required and voluntary gifts; and prophets and spokespersons declaring the oracles from GOD, and the needs or petitions of his covenant people. There may be family and private prayer as communication to express otherwise hidden emotion and personal secrets to GOD; even so, prayer for the full body is an indispensable sacred work that has formal elements and structure. The name, reputation, and how we are to speak of GOD are framed by gratitude, praise, and reverence. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “rollickingredsfan” (Level 5 with 6,496 points, a member since March 02, 2010) posted the following:

Christians : Why, in the Lord’s Prayer, do you pray ‘ thy will be done ‘, yet when you pray on behalf of yourself or a loved, you pray for..?

your own, desired outcome ?…Not trying to be smart alec here, just that this is something I’ve always wondered about . Thank you .

Update: Oh, and just to add to my thoughts here, lotsa people consider a ‘ no ‘ answer from God to be a non – answer…Ever notice that ?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name. And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation. He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree. He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away. He hath helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy; As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever. (Luke 1: 46-55, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Divine Process Is Unselfish (05/12/2019); Receiving What We Ask (09/20/2018); Anything We Ask For? (09/12/2018); What May We Request? (05/24/2018); Praying For “More Faith”? (01/12/2018); As An Anointed Body (10/04/2017); Names For Sacred Persons? (08/01/2017)

rollickingredsfan”, here are some points to consider that often are overlooked by sinners who turn to GOD through Jesus Christ, and become developing Christians:

A person’s focus on salvation may begin and continue indefinitely as a form of introspection, judgment, and self-assessment; however, properly understood, those who turn to Christ enter into a relationship of service to divinity wherein they are to display Christ-likeness, and reflect the image of GOD.

Those who are “born again” receive a fresh endowment of life essence (we also say, breath; spirit; word) imparted from the makeup of divinity, and are to “grow up again” to become mature/ripe for harvest by the Lord at his appearing.

The developing believer must undergo a transformation to exist as a life companion to immortal, incorruptible, invisible divinity. In addition to fulfilling duties and works for disciples, developing and mature believers are molded through discovery; fellowship with those anointed and ordained by divinity; giving; gradual growth; practice of discernment; praise; prophecy; study of the holy writings; unselfish service; teaching; suffering; and worship.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, Christians are all called to operate as members within the full body of Jesus Christ on the earth. All are called to serve in his priesthood proclaiming divine law, sacred promise, prophecy, and revelation. With this in view, communication with divinity and prayer also are transformed. Prayers from the Bible that best serve as examples to believers acknowledge eternal purpose, and express confession of sin, gratitude, and humility along with petitions for supplies.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

A depiction of the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God

Today, reply is on continued Christian acceptance of the ancient holy writings as authentic sacred documents from divinity. Correctly understood, the Scriptures contain sacred mysteries, secrets, and knowledge preserved and shared exclusively as an inheritance to those families and believers set apart for priesthood and godly offices such as counselors, scribes, and teachers. It is written: Hebrews 4: 12, King James Version (KJV): 12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. The writer at Yahoo! Answers” in the Religion and Spirituality section who uses the ID “Nin-Em, Priestess of Nidaba” (Level 6 with 15,909 points, a member since November 13, 2009) posted the following:

Christians why do you follow Jewish scripture?

Hear me out, Jesus came correcting the Jews’ misconception of God and his true will. If Judaism at the time was corrupt, what point is there in using their scripture in your new fixed religion?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: (Ephesians 6: 10-17, King James Version, KJV)

Nin-Em, Priestess of Nidaba”, this may surprise you. Sinners who become developing Christian believers are to regard the holy writings as having no cultural identity, “ethnicity”, or race. Mature Christian believers will respect the holy writings as an embodiment of sacred truth, and an authentic vessel filled with spirit substance from the divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit). The full collection of holy writings provide sacred knowledge to mankind in place of secular knowledge; and documents the appearance and operations of divinity in continuing relationships with created beings and living creatures on the earth. A divine point of view is shared wherein GOD appears using thousands of events, within thousands of lives, over the course of thousands of years. In addition to ceremonies and practices that address atonement for sin, there are chronicles and records from men operating as leaders, judges, kings, parents, priests, and prophets. Accounts also are shared that allow a reader to apprehend the immutable, and unchanging purposes of GOD as well as such topics as the origin, process, and divine use of angels, demons, and sacred beasts.

Christian belief continues to acknowledge Abraham as “the Friend of GOD,” and as a man from the earth chosen to demonstrate the workings of faith required to complement the workings of sacred law. Through the ministry of Jesus Christ as the heir of Abraham, sinners receive a fresh endowment of the life essence (i.e., breath; spirit; word) imparted from the makeup of divinity. Included are faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. These divine tools allow and encourage communication, exchange, and interaction with GOD through multiple covenant relationships (e.g., clergy, disciples, heirs, servants). Finite human tools such as intellect, logic, philosophy and science can not be relied on to establish the awareness and self-will (willpower) that make active presence knowable, known, accessible, and approachable. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Isaiah 63: 16, King James Version (KJV): 16 Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O LORD, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting.

2. Galatians 3: 26-29, KJV: 26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

3. Colossians 3: 5-13, KJV: 5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: 6 For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: 7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them. 8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. 9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; 10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: 11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. 12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

4.  Romans 3: 1-3, KJV: 1 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? 2 Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God. 3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 5. Romans 2: 28-29, KJV: 28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

was manifested. in the flesh... (1Timothy 3:16)

Today, reply is on revelation as a sacred process that goes beyond merely presenting accounts from the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. In the same way the “proof” and seal that Jesus of Nazareth is Messiah is not that he performed miracles or his resurrection from the dead, the seal of apostleship is not the performing of miracles, it is manifesting the Holy Spirit. When Jesus was openly challenged on the authenticity of his doctrine, and questioned whether the source of his power to work miracles and the origin of his Spirit were from devils, the Lord solemnly cautioned the scorners to correctly discern the Spirit (we also say, the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth): There will never be forgiveness for those who falsely accuse and blaspheme the Holy Spirit. Developing Christians are to continually affirm sacred truth on the basis of their endowment of faith, and to avoid conjecture, distrust, speculation, suspicion, and “stinking thinking” that only produce spiritual confusion. Argument and debate regarding secular history, popular figures, or notable churchmen and clergy also are vain (i.e., lack sacred content from the makeup of GOD; do not produce sacred fruit; do not edify the community of faith). For divinity to become apprehended by created beings and living creatures, there must be joining and sharing of unseen and visible aspects of inseparable divine substance and active presence. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” Religion and Spirituality public forum using the ID “guitarman” (Level 1 with 22 points, a member since January 16, 2007) posted the following:

The Gospel was written decades after the death of Jesus. Is Paul (aka Saul) the only link in between the death of Jesus and the Gospel?

Jesus appeared to him once in a vision. Paul (Saul) wasn’t an eyewitness to the life of Jesus. He didn’t witness the crucifixion or the resurrection. He didn’t mention anything about the birth of Jesus, the life of Jesus, the miracles of Jesus, the trial of Jesus, or really much of anything about Jesus. Is he a reliable link/ source?

Update: I forgot to mention that Saul wasn’t an apostle either. Jesus just appeared to him in a vision after the death of Jesus.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Am I am not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are not ye my work in the Lord? If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you: for the seal of mine apostleship are ye in the Lord. (1st Corinthians 9: 1-2, King James Version, KJV)

guitarman” Jesus must be apprehended using more than a “gospel” that provides a biography of his life and a record of his ministry. Many mature Christian believers now approach the Bible as a complete library of holy writings that provide a single sacred revelation whereby divine fullness (i.e., all divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) is made knowable, known, accessible and approachable to created beings and living creatures. The Scriptures record divinity appearing to mankind using thousands of events, within thousands of lives, over the course of thousands of years. Jesus is linked to the Creation of heaven and earth; to the priesthood of Adam and his heirs who appear as Patriarchs; to the establishment of covenant, inheritance, and promissory relationship between divinity and mankind on the earth; to the execution of judgment against sin; to the fulfillment of all eternal purpose; and more.

A different way of thinking is required that puts aside carnal reason, secular knowledge, and critical thinking, for these are things determined through faith and sacred knowledge. In the same way forgiveness, resurrection from death, and the final elimination of sin are carried out as sacred operations expressing accord within the Godhead, yet, employ created beings and living creatures as vessels of life essence (blood; breath; spirit; word), the full revelation of the character, nature, and substance of GOD is being provided through visible and continuing operations. Inseparable aspects of divinity are imparted to sinners who become born-again that include faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

As with those, today, who are anointed to serve as apostles, consecrated spokespersons, teachers, and those providing testimony within the ongoing divine judgment (we say, prophets; witnesses), it is more correct to attribute the sacred accomplishments we see associated with Paul, Barnabas, James, Silas and others to the imparted, indwelling Spirit and Jesus Christ as Risen Lord. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible that includes part of Paul’s answer to those who challenged his office and authenticity:

1. Deuteronomy 29: 29, King James Version (KJV): 29 The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

2. Romans 6: 3-9, KJV: 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed from sin. 8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

3. Ephesians 4: 11-16, KJV: 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. 2nd Corinthians 13: 3-9, KJV: 3 Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you. 4 For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you. 5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? 6 But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates. 7 Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates. 8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth. 9 For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, reply is on knowing the mystery and sacred secrets of GODhead. GOD—who is spirit—does not exist using the same relationships described for created beings and living creatures; even so, for the comfort and encouragement of life, GOD is to be known and spoken of as continuing in the same relationships that are meaningful among mankind. Mature Christian believers accept that the sacred knowledge they receive regarding the spirit process, substance, and workings of GOD will not provide the same detail and features as secular knowledge that center on things finite, material, and measurable. A profound consciousness of spirit presence first must be in place before the created may apprehend the truths of divine existence and sacred personhood, or the nature of commitment, communication, exchange, and interaction among the divine. The great gulf between immutable, incorruptible, invisible GOD and those who have been emanated and put forth requires all they receive be understood as merely approximations, estimates, hints, and suggestions that must not be held as full, or complete. The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” Religion and Spirituality public forum who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

Is God his own son and father?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. (John 3: 11-13, King James Version, KJV)

Anonymous”, among Christian believers, apart from the teachings and works of the church and the holy writings, there is nothing that exists within the material and natural world that explains the existence of GODhead (we also say, divine fullness; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit), and all the relationships they use as otherwise unseen active presence. The information provided from GOD to his created beings and living creatures (we say, the revelation) that speak to his origin, power, presence, sovereignty, and workings throughout the universe must be accepted as spirit substance that, of itself, is accurate, truthful, and sufficient. In addition to the form and life essence (i.e., breath; spirit; word) imparted to the living as their own makeup and substance are inseparable aspects from the makeup of divinity whereby those created are to apprehend and be apprehended of GOD. Included are faith, forbearance, forgiveness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, oneness without sameness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible—a human record of divinity appearing through thousands of events, within thousands of lives, over the course of thousands of years:

(1.) Deuteronomy 29: 29, King James Version (KJV): 29 The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

(2.) Hebrews 11: 6, KJV: 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

(3.) Colossians 1: 12-22, KJV: 12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled 22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) Philippians 3: 7-14, KJV: 7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, 9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: 10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. 12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
