Today, reply is on doctrine of the Trinity, the Gospel, sacred knowledge, and the process of GOD for relationship with mankind.  Man is to live on the earth and become mature for more perfect companionship with divinity through life experiences that include rebirth, discovery, gradual growth, praise, prayer, practice of holy sacraments, and unselfish service.  One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” forum who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information appears) posted the following in the Religion and Spirituality section:

Did Abraham, Noah, and all the prophets know that God was a Trinity or was that only revealed during Jesus’ time?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.  He came unto his own, and his own received him not.  But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:  Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.  John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me:  for he was before me.  And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.  For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.  No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.  (John 1:  10-18, King James Version, KJV)

“Anonymous”, revelation whereby divinity now becomes knowable, known, accessible, and approachable must appear for mankind using Incarnation and the frameworks of time and space.  The church and the doctrines of grace, repentance, and salvation did not exist in the beginning, and appeared in accordance with sacred process.  Consider the following that may enrich your study on the revelation of divine fullness (we say, the Godhead; the Trinity; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit):

1.  The Creator immediately began to communicate, exchange, and interact with Adam in ongoing relationship in the first Sabbath that followed the creation of the female, Eve.

2.  Sacred knowledge, divine law, and multiple streams of sacred truth are unchanging as artifacts of divine personhood and eternal purpose that remain everlasting, immortal, and incorruptible.

3.  Changes in mankind, the holy angels, and relationship with divinity were introduced through the operations of sin that included correction, death, mortality, priesthood, rebirth, resurrection, and the second death.

4.  While mankind may receive fresh endowments of spirit substance from the makeup of GOD (we say, the imparted, indwelling Spirit), those “born again” must “grow up again” and become mature/ripe for harvest from the earth at the Advent of Jesus Christ (we say, his appearing; the Rapture; the Second Coming).  The finite tools for gaining secular knowledge must be put aside, and developing believers must rely on such divine gifts as atonement, covenant, forbearance, forgiveness, prophecy, and reconciliation.

Also, here are some points that use language from the Bible:

(1.)  Deuteronomy 29:  29, King James Version (KJV):  29 The secret things belong unto the LORD our God:  but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

(2.)  2nd Peter 1:  16-21, KJV:  16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.  17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.  18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.  19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:  20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.  21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man:  but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

(3.)  1st Peter 1:  7-16, KJV:  7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:  8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:  9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.  10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:  11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.  12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.  13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;  14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:  15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;  16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Luke 24:  25-27, KJV:  25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:  26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?  27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Raised Swords

Today, reply is on the sword of GOD.  Divine tools for Christian ministry are provided to accomplish eternal life, spiritual growth, salvation, and peace with GOD.  Even so, graphic images and language that pertain to combat, military service, and warfare are used throughout the holy writings to convey prophetic admonition, the awesomeness and terror of GOD, warnings, and divine wrath against sin.  Also, the acumen and keenness of discernment that are brought by Deity to judgment should come into view.  One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” Religion and Spirituality forum who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information appears) posted the following:

What is the sword of God according to the Bible?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  The LORD of hosts hath sworn by himself, saying, Surely I will fill thee with men, as with caterpillers; and they shall lift up a shout against thee.  He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by his understanding.  When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens; and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth:  he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.  Every man is brutish by his knowledge; every founder is confounded by the graven image:  for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.  They are vanity, the work of errors:  in the time of their visitation they shall perish.  The portion of Jacob is not like them; for he is the former of all things:  and Israel is the rod of his inheritance:  the LORD of hosts is his name.  Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war:  for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;  And with thee will I break in pieces the horse and his rider; and with thee will I break in pieces the chariot and his rider;  With thee also will I break in pieces man and woman; and with thee will I break in pieces old and young; and with thee will I break in pieces the young man and the maid;  I will also break in pieces with thee the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in pieces the husbandman and his yoke of oxen; and with thee will I break in pieces captains and rulers.  And I will render unto Babylon and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil that they have done in Zion in your sight, saith the LORD.  (Jeremiah 51:  14-24, King James Version, KJV)

“Anonymous”, using language from the Bible, the sword of GOD also is called the rod (standard), the breath (sentence in judgment; word), and the two-edged sword.  Consider the following:

1.  Isaiah 11:  1-5, King James Version (KJV):  1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:  2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;  3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD:  and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:  4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth:  and he shall smite the earth:  with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.  5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

2.  Jeremiah 50:  24-26, KJV:  24 I have laid a snare for thee, and thou art also taken, O Babylon, and thou wast not aware:  thou art found, and also caught, because thou hast striven against the LORD.  25 The LORD hath opened his armoury, and hath brought forth the weapons of his indignation: for this is the work of the Lord GOD of hosts in the land of the Chaldeans.  26 Come against her from the utmost border, open her storehouses:  cast her up as heaps, and destroy her utterly:  let nothing of her be left.

3.  2nd Corinthians 10:  3-5, KJV:  3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:  4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)  5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

4.  Hebrews 4:  12, KJV:  12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, 5. Revelation 1:  15-18,  KJV:  15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.  16 And he had in his right hand seven stars:  and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword:  and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.  17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:  18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

He Will Cover You

Today, reply is on the state of the dead, the difference between angels and spirit content from men, and Christian ministry to children in their bereavement.  At death the spirit content that projects the character, personality, and spirit makeup within the living is removed, and separated from the flesh.  The lifeless body (we say, cadaver; corpse) may be buried or interred; while the spirit matter returns to GOD.  The tool Christian believers have been given for comforting one another during their bereavement is called “prophecy”.  How sacred truth is presented and shared with children may vary from how the same truth is shown to adults, however, there is only one faith, one Lord, one baptism, one God and Father of all.  There is no teaching from the Bible that says spirit content that leaves a human body and goes to live and interact in heaven among the angels and other sacred creatures there.  The dead praise not GOD; do not watch over and protect the living; and the dead have no carnal, mental, and social abilities (e.g., communication, talking, exchange).  The dead must be restored to life (i.e., there must be resurrection) for judgment according to divine law.  One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” Religion and Spirituality forum who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shown) posted the following:

Religion- I told my son his late mom is now with the angels when he asked me. Am I deceiving him?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:  But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:  Which none of the princes of this world knew:  for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.  But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit:  for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.  For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.  Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:  for they are foolishness unto him:  neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.  (1st Corinthians 2:  6-14, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Lower Than The Angels? (09/12/2017); Signs From The Dead? (01/15/2017); Life Is GOD’s Intent (11/15/2016); On Really Seeing Angels (10/09/2016); Spirit, Spirit Beings, Spirit Persons? (10/13/2015); Getting It Right About Angels (05/10/2015); Comfort? (09/06/2014)

“Anonymous”, non-biblical teachings on the angels often result in spiritual confusion; this is also true during times of bereavement when honest expressions of ones developing belief and faith may contain and impart errors and misunderstandings.  Expressions of our own individual affection and feelings of love can not replace, or accomplish all the sacred work required to be done within the household of faith by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the love of GOD.  Among Christian believers there also are specific sacred things that are to be shared as comfort with those who endure bereavement.  Believers are to minister to one another from what they themselves have received as deposits and endowments of spirit substance from the makeup of GOD through Jesus Christ.  Included are expectation (we say, hope), faith, gratitude, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, purpose, resilience, regeneration, and renewal of the mind.  Such consolations are effective during grief and mourning because a believer’s consciousness is centered on, and interwoven with streams of prophecy and divine revelation.

The Creator has made it that every man, woman, and child must be prepared to endure the completion of their own mortality and separation(s).  Loss of a parent, a child, a spouse, and other loved ones will be experienced throughout every aspect of the emotional, material, psychological, social, and spiritual order fitted together within ones own person.  Thus, many experience bereavement as a form of temporary insanity.  The sudden introduction of absence and imbalance should not be met by dismissing reality and truth, or relying on exaggeration, fantasy, and extremes of imagination.  Regaining balance, self-discipline, firmness, purpose, and stability are reasonable goals and practices.  Existing as “born again,” finite, and mortal, children and adults who belong to Christ are continually challenged to “grow up again” (mature/ripen) on the earth before being harvested by Jesus Christ at his appearing (we also say, the Advent, the Rapture, the Second Coming).

Where we counsel children and those who are only beginning the long journey to fullness and maturity in their bereavement we must acknowledge the existing level of their grasp and understanding; and it is not incorrect or unkind to speak to them using (1) their own language, (2) the shared language within relationship as well as (3) the new language provided from GOD intended to carry them forward in the divine will.  Often, where children mistakenly appear to be lying by adult standards, the young ones are answering with responses that correctly and sincerely express their heartfelt desire, their faith imparted from GOD, their intent, their perseverance, and their efforts to apply and focus their own self-will (willpower).

Even within the communities and families of Christians those enduring a loss may operate as though it is acceptable to use commonly held and familiar doctrine and teachings that are not found within the holy writings.  Some feel they are justified on the basis of the importance of behaving as accepting, non-judgmental, supportive, and understanding.  Others feel that children may be weaned from the devices used as short-term solutions while they are being brought gradually to the fullness of Christ.  Because there are many subtleties (barely visible differences; hidden shifts in meaning, quality, and value) involved, those who take up alternatives to Christ should be cautioned, for in effect they say, “I am right when I am wrong, because….”  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  1st Corinthians 12:  25-27, King James Version (KJV):  25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.  26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.  27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

(2.)  Matthew 18:  10, KJV:  10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

(3.)  Colossians 2:  8-12, KJV:  8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.  9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.  10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:  11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:  12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

(4.)  Colossians 2:  18-19, KJV:  18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,  19 And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  1st Thessalonians 4:  13-18, KJV:  13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.  14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.  15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:  and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:  and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

GOSPEL

Today, reply is on divine love, the use of popular and preferred scripture verses, and the wrath of GOD against sin.  The Bible is a collection of writings that fit together providing a full revelation of divinity.  The Gospel that proclaims the appearance of Deity using flesh and blood as Jesus Christ (we say, the Incarnation) is only one aspect of the full Bible presentation of sacred knowledge.  The death of Jesus on the cross is inseparable from his divine conception, his lowly birth, his ministry in the earth, his dying on the cross, his glorious resurrection and ascension into heaven, and his return to harvest those who are his from the earth (we say, Advent, his appearing, the Rapture, the Second Coming).  While the holy writings truly are a godly tool, and a weapon that may rebuke and repel the enemies of sinners who choose to repent and follow Christ, the Scriptures are intended for ministry, priesthood, and the administration of righteous government by divinely anointed kings.  Scripture should not be used for such common activity as competition, conflict, and quarrels among believers; deception, fraud, and scams; self-promotion; and showing off.  Rightly understood, the word from GOD only is to be shared by his heirs, his offspring, and his prophet or spokesperson(s).  The word of GOD is to make present and reveal the heart and mind of GOD, not that of his messengers and servants.  The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” forum who uses the ID “Christian sinner” (Level 7 with 206,851 points, a member since November 28, 2006) posted the following:

Why is this verse not used more than John 3:16?

‘John 3
36
“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.”

They are both good verses. Verse 36 seems to use a more defined ‘what if I don’t’.
Update: yesmar,
What are you aware of concerning what people think God’s wrath is what would cause them to miss something important? I’m trying to think about it and I come up with nothing.
Update 2: Ryan,
It is God’s vengeance. Not mine. He does it, and claims to have it.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;  But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.  But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:  In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.  For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.  For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.  But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.  (2nd Corinthians 4:  1-7, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Jesus Paid It All (04/04/2018); The Word of GOD (09/05/2017); The Complete Divine Revelation? (03/10/2017); The Two-edged Sword (01/09/2017); A “Good” Verse? (05/09/2014); What GOD Demands (05/10/2014); According to This Word (09/20/2013); His Burden Is Light? (09/21/2013)

“Christian sinner”, many developing Christians respect “John 3:  16” as a summary of the full gospel and revelation of GOD incarnate as Jesus Christ where mature Christians have focused on end time events and prophecy, final judgment and the Advent (we say, his appearing; the harvest; the Rapture; the Second Coming) as a special focus of the Good News.  While “John 3:  16” declares salvation and the possibility of companionship with immortal, incorruptible divinity through the Son of GOD, the love of GOD is proclaimed and revealed as primary within the divine fullness (we say, the GODhead; the Trinity; the Father the Son, the Holy Spirit) and as necessary for relationships with Deity as divine law; judgment; personhood; the imparted, indwelling spirit; wisdom; and wrath against sin.

The righteous demands and obligations of divine law may not be dismissed, ignored, or promoted as ancient relics that no longer have meaning and value.  Simply put, the character, makeup and substance of created beings and living creatures require multiple levels of communication, exchange, and interaction whereby invisible, unseen authority and sovereign person becomes knowable, known, accessible, and approachable.  Divinity appears in flesh and blood as Jesus Christ permitting the living to engage the Creator through intimate, ongoing relations (e.g., praise, prayer, service, worship).  GOD is no longer to be regarded as an abstraction, an academic construct, or an intellectual notion.  Even so, the GOD who appears through Jesus must be acknowledged as a god of judgment, a god who must honor his own words of proclamation, promise and prophecy as well as a god who has made permanent provisions for mortal men to receive eternal life through divine grace.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  2nd Timothy 3:  16-17, King James Version (KJV):  16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

(2.)  John 6:  63, KJV:  63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing:  the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

(3.)  Hebrews 4: 12, KJV:  12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

He Bore Our Grief

Today, reply is on how Jesus dying on the cross has been an atonement and propitiation for the sin of mankind.  While we say Christ “paid” for sin or “purchased” mankind, it should be understood, we are not speaking about buying and selling, responding to credit and debt, or other earthly financial transactions.  Rather, we speak to how Christ has responded on mankind’s behalf to the demands and sanctions contained within the fullness of divine law regarding the obligations and penalties for sin.  Sin is no ordinary physical object, and is not itself an expression of divine spirit; nevertheless, responses to sin require interactions of human makeup and spirit substance.  Carefully chosen language is used that speaks of the “blood of the lamb” and a sacrifice by the Son of GOD, yet, what must come into view is the imparting, reconfiguring, and regenerating of the spirit matter to establish existence and life that has been included within the makeup of mankind from the makeup of divine fullness (we say, the Creator; the Godhead; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit).  To satisfy the law, mankind must receive a fresh endowment of inseparable spirit such as faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” forum who uses the ID “2017” (Level 7 with 60,632 points, a member since December 25, 2008) posted the following:

How is Jesus’s death on the cross pay for the sins , even for people that will only be born in a thousand years from now?

Update: Please read the question and answer it.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows:  yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities:  the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.  All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.  He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth:  he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.  He was taken from prison and from judgment:  and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living:  for the transgression of my people was he stricken.  And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.  Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief:  when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.  He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied:  by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.  Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death:  and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.  (Isaiah 53:  4-12, King James Version, KJV)

“2017”, with Christian believers, the process of GOD for salvation is one both to atone for and cover sin within the lives of mankind as well as to restore and perfect mankind to exist having eternal life.  The elimination and removal of sin from the earth can not be completed relying only on the workings of finite human desire, secular knowledge, and will power.  Sin does not exist as a carnal, material, or common object we may touch with our hands, or see with our eyes.  Even so, sin may dominate awareness and self-will within created beings and living creatures.  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Lawgiver, and all divine order throughout the universe.

The operations of sin among the living disrupted mankind’s intimate and personal communication, exchange, and interaction (we say, relationships) with divinity that were provided through Creation.  By disobedience and transgression of divine law (i.e., the expressed will of GOD), the first pair (the male and female; Adam) lost their consecration as companions to immortal, incorruptible divinity.  In addition to becoming stripped of exalted benefits and privileges, mankind was made to be mortal (subject to death); and lost the one-of-a-kind access, authority, dominion, and power that had been granted as their divine inheritance.

Man became a living soul by the imparting of life essence (we say, breath; spirit; word) from the makeup of divine fullness (we say, the GODhead; the Trinity; the Father, the Son, and The Holy Spirit); and it is the special condition of man being more than flesh and bone by containing divine substance that requires multiple sacred operations to address sin.  While sin is no “thing” created by GOD, displays no spirit content, and has no measurable dimensions (e.g., height, length, weight), sin has direction, effect, and presence.  GOD exposes and makes sin known through sacred devices that include baptism (the death, burial, and resurrection of ones inborn spirit); divine law; Incarnation (divinity appearing in human form as Jesus Christ); and providing fresh endowments of inseparable spirit content such as faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Only through Jesus Christ has it become possible to have remission of sin by the application of holy blood.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  1st John 1:  5-10, King James Version (KJV):  5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.  6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:  7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.  8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

(2.)  Romans 3:  23-26, KJV:  23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;  24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:  25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;  26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness:  that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

(3.)  Romans 5:  8-11, KJV:  8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.  10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.  11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

(4.)  Romans 5:  17-21, KJV:  17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)  18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.  19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.  20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:  21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  1st Corinthians 15:  12-22, KJV:  12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?  13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:  14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.  15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ:  whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.  16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:  17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.  18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.  19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.  20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.  21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.  22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

The Law and the Prophets

(The painting depicts Christ in transfiguration with Moses holding up the Tables of the Law, and the Prophet Elijah.)

Today, a reply is shared that could not be posted in the “Yahoo! Answers” forum (due to technical problems) on the enmity that exists between those who were held to be the guardians of the covenants of Moses, and Jesus Christ who appeared as an Incarnation of divinity.  That the ministries of Jesus Christ on the earth and from the heaven endorsed and promoted “the law and the prophets” can be seen through multiple sacred events that include the transfiguration, the renting of the veil separating the Holy and the Most Holy place within the Temple at Jerusalem, and the apostles receiving gifts of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost.  One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” forum who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile is shared) posted the following:

Why did Orthodox Jewish leaders wanted Jesus to be put to death?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  John 3:  12-17, King James Version (KJV):  12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?  13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.  14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:  15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.  16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Yochanan 3:  12-17, Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB):  12 If I told you [pl.] about things of the Olam Hazeh and you have no emunah, how will you have emunah if I tell you about the things of the Olam Haba?  13 And no one has ascended into Shomayim except the one having descended out of Shomayim, the Ben HaAdam [Dan 7:13-14; Prov 30:4; Dt 30:12].  14 And as Moshe lifted up the nachash in the wilderness [Num 21:8-9], so it is necessary for there to be a hagbah (lifting up) of the Ben HaAdam [Ps 22; Isa 53].  15 That everyone having emunah {Gn 15:l-6; Num 14:11; Ex 14:31] in him may have Chayyei Olam [Dan 12:2; Isa 52:13].  16 For Hashem so had ahavah (agape) for the Olam Hazeh that Hashem gave the matanah (gift) [Isa 9:5 (6)] of Hashem’s Ben Yechid [Gn 22:12; Prov 30:4; 8:30} so that whosoever has emunah in him may not be ne’evad (lost, perish, be ruined with destruction), but find Chayyei Olam [Daniel 12:2].  17 For Hashem did not send the Ben HaElohim into the Olam Hazeh that he might judge the Olam Hazeh, but that the Olam Hazeh might be brought to the Geulah (Redemption) of the Olam Haba through him (Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach). [YESHAYAH 53:11]

“Anonymous”, for mature Christian believers, reports documenting the sacred events (we also say, miracles) and the operations of GOD using Incarnation that appear in the holy writings (e.g., the birth, ministry, transfiguration, death on the cross, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ) must be received as sacred knowledge, rather than creative literature, world history, or secular knowledge.  Ability to correctly discern authentic divine content imparted from GOD (i.e., recognizing and responding to spirit substance and truth imparted from the makeup of GOD) requires that a person use their own spirit content received from divinity as a standard when examining the character, essence, and nature of doctrines, teachings, events, oneself, others, motives, purposes, etc.  In order to acknowledge and properly apprehend the awe and grandeur of GOD appearing and working among us as an active presence (we say, breath, spirit, Word), developing believers must turn away from earthy explanations, and use tools that are not finite.  Souls and the integrity of divinity are at stake.  It is incorrect to ignore divine intent, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD, and to then highlight ungodly elements such as ambition, ceremony, covetousness, money, politics, and exaggerated pride.

The sacred ministry of Jesus did not introduce a new “god”, or never before seen and heard of doctrines and teachings.  Jesus provided a revival of focus on “the law and the prophets” that acknowledged the Spirit of Prophecy (we also say, the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth).  As both Son of Man and Son of GOD, Jesus worked to fulfill promises from GOD to Adam, the Patriarchs, Abraham, Moses, and even David, to restore and perfect the divine nature within mankind.  Even so, corruption of the things given from GOD had rendered Israel blind, and powerless as his “peculiar people.”  The Sadducees—who included the High Priests that ruled within the Temple at Jerusalem and their families dominated the entire nation through the Temple community—opposed the teachings on angels, healing, miracles, prophets, spirits, and resurrection from the dead.  The Pharisees insisted on practices of divine law that required strict obedience as the correct source for sacred knowledge and proper relationship to the Creator.  The revelation provided through Jesus Christ as the Word from the Father declared that, to endure as life companions to divinity, all must receive fresh endowments of the spirit imparted to mankind during Creation.  Included are completeness, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, oneness without sameness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

Consider again the following that uses language from the holy writings:

(1.)  Isaiah 8:  20, King James Version (KJV):  20 To the law and to the testimony:  if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Yeshayah 8:  20, OJB:  20 To the torah (teaching of G-d) and to the te’udah (recorded testimony, see verse 16); if they speak not according to Davar HaZeh, it is because there is no shachar (dawn, light) in them.

(2.)  Romans 10:  1-10, King James Version (KJV):  1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.  2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.  3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.  4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.  5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.  6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)  7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)  8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart:  that is, the word of faith, which we preach;  9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Kehillah in Rome 10:  1-10, Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB):  1 Achim b’Moshiach, the great tshuka (desire, longing) of my lev and my tefillah to Hashem is for the Yeshu’at Yisroel (salvation of Israel).  2 For I can be meid (provide testimony, attest) regarding them that they have a kinat Hashem (zeal for G-d), but not in accordance with saving binah and da’as.  3 For, having no saving da’as of the Tzidkat Hashem (the righteousness of G-d), and seeking to establish their own (that is, self-attained) they have not subjected themselves to the Tzidkat Hashem (righteousness of G-d 1:17; 3:5,21,25-26; 6:18).  4 For Moshiach is the goal of the Torah as a means to being YITZDAK IM HASHEM, for all who have emunah.  5 For Moshe Rabbeinu writes with reference to the (accessibility of) Tzidkat Torah (righteousness which is from the Torah), “The man YA’ASEH OTAM VACHAI (“who does these things will live” by them VAYIKRA 18:5).  6 Whereas the Tzidkat Emunah (righteousness which is from faith) speaks thus:  “Do not say (looking for Messianic salvation being merited by superhuman attainments in works) in your lev, ‘Who will go up into Shomayim?’ (that is, to bring Moshiach down)?  7 Or ‘Who will go down into the abyss?’ (that is, to bring Moshiach up from the Mesim).  8 But what does it say? “The Dvar is near you, in your MOUTH and in your HEART” [DEVARIM 30:14]. That is, the Dvar of Emunah which we proclaim.  9 Because if you make hoda’ah (confession) “with your PEH” of Adoneinu Yehoshua, and have emunah “in your LEV” that G-d raised him from the Mesim, you will be delivered.  10 For with the “heart” one has emunah unto being YITZDAK IM HASHEM and with the “mouth” hoda’ah is made unto Yeshu’at Eloheinu.

(3.)  John 3:  1-10, KJV:  1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:  2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God:  for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.  3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?  5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.  8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth:  so is every one that is born of the Spirit.  9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?  10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?

Yochanan 3:  1-10, OJB:  1 Now there was a man of the Perushim. His name was Rav Nakdimon, a [Sanhedrist] katzin (leader) of the Yehudim.  2 This one came to Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach under cover of lailah and said to him, Rabbi, we have da’as that you are a moreh from Hashem having come, for no one is able these otot (miraculous signs) to do, which you do, unless Hashem is with him.  3 In reply, he said to him, Omein, omein, I say to you, unless someone is born anew [born again, Yn 1:13; Dt 10:16; 30:6; Jer 4:4; Isa 52:1; Ezek 44:7,9], he is not able to see the Malchut Hashem.  4 Rav Nakdimon says to Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach, How is a man, being old, able to be born? Surely he is not able into the womb of immo a second time to enter and to be born?  5 In reply, Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach said, Omein, omein, I say to you:  unless someone is born of mayim (TEHILLIM 36:10 [9]) and Ruach Hakodesh [YECHEZEL 36:25-27; 37:14], he is not able to enter into the Malchut Hashem [Lk 17:21].  6 That which is born of basar is basar, and that which is born of the Ruach is ruach.  7 Do not marvel that I said to you, It is necessary for you to be born again, born anew.  8 The ruach (wind, Spirit) blows where it wishes, and the sound of it you hear, but you do not have da’as of where it comes from and where it goes [KOHELET 11:5]; so it is with everyone having been born of the Ruach Hakodesh. [YECHEZKEL 37:9]  9 In reply, Rav Nakdimon said to Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach, How is it possible for these things to happen?  10 In reply, he said to him, You hold the teaching office of rabbi, of moreh b’Yisroel and of these things you do not have da’as?

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  [For example, (4.) Isaiah 63:  7-16, KJV:  7 I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.  8 For he said, Surely they are my people, children that will not lie:  so he was their Saviour.  9 In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them:  in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.  10 But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit:  therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them.  11 Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his holy Spirit within him?  12 That led them by the right hand of Moses with his glorious arm, dividing the water before them, to make himself an everlasting name?  13 That led them through the deep, as an horse in the wilderness, that they should not stumble?  14 As a beast goeth down into the valley, the Spirit of the LORD caused him to rest:  so didst thou lead thy people, to make thyself a glorious name.  15 Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory:  where is thy zeal and thy strength, the sounding of thy bowels and of thy mercies toward me? are they restrained?  16 Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not:  thou, O LORD, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting.

Yeshayah 63:  7-16, OJB:  7 I will rehearse the chasadim (lovingkindnesses) of Hashem, and the tehillot Hashem, according to all that Hashem hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the Bais Yisroel, which He hath bestowed on them according to His rachamim, and according to the multitude of His chasadim.  8 For He said, Surely they are My people, banim that will not be sheker (false); so He became their Moshi’a (Savior).  9 In all their tzoros He was afflicted, and the malach of His presence saved them; in His ahavah and in His mercy He redeemed them; and He lifted them up, and carried them kol y’mei olam.  10 But they rebelled, and grieved His Ruach Hakodesh; therefore He turned against them as oyev (enemy), and He fought against them.  11 Then His people remembered the y’mei olam (days of old), of Moshe. Where is He that brought them up out of the yam (sea) with the ro’im of His tzon? Where is He that put His Ruach Hakodesh in the midst of them?  12 Who led them at the right hand of Moshe with His zero’a tiferet, dividing the mayim before them, to make Himself a Shem Olam?  13 Who led them through the tehomot, like the sus (horse) in the midbar, that they should not stumble?  14 As behemah goeth down into the valley, the Ruach Hashem caused them to rest; thus didst Thou lead Thy people, to make for Thee a Shem Tiferet.  15 Look down from Shomayim, and behold from the habitation of Thy kodesh and of Thy Tiferet. Where is Thy kina (zeal) and Thy gevurah (might)? The yearning of Thy heart and of Thy rachamim are withheld toward me.  16 Doubtless Thou art Avinu, though Avraham not have da’as of us, and Yisroel not acknowledge us; Thou, Hashem, art Avinu, Go’aleinu; Shemecha is from everlasting.  17 Hashem, why hast Thou made us to go astray from Thy drakhim, and hardened libenu (our hearts) from fearing Thee? Shuv (return) l’ma’an (for the sake of) Avadeicha (Thy servants), Shivtei Nachalatecha (the Tribes of Thine Inheritance).]  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Glass Trinity

A Depiction of the Three Aspects/Persons of Divine Fullness:
The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit

Today, reply is on the absence of a “Mother” among the three spirit appearances of divine person.  Without re-opening the quarrels against Mary the birth-mother of Jesus being respected with a title (The Mother of GOD), the Trinity comes into view here as a spirit entity that should not be thought of as like any ordinary human individual.  The exalted character, makeup, and possibilities of GOD must be acknowledged as on a higher plane than that of the angels and mortal men.  Many Christian believers are appalled to think that men on the earth still dare describe the sovereign over all Creation by using “weak and beggarly elements” such as gender, ethnicity, nationality, politics, race, or the amount of earthly wealth men accumulate and squander.  A writer in the “Yahoo! Answers” forum using the ID “Bubba” (Level 2 with 652 points, a member since November 24, 2016) posted the following:

Religion: Can someone give some insight to the below statement?

If God is referred to as the Father, then who is the Mother? Serious question.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;  To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;  Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.  (Hebrews 7:  1-3, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Thoughts On Divine Personhood (12/07/2017); GOD Appearing As Christ (12/03/2017); In Order To Understand (12/01/2017); All Divinity in ONE? (11/17/2017); The Mother of GOD? (12/09/2016); The Gender of GOD? (12/29/2015); A Kindness to Mary? (04/21/2013); When GOD Controls? (04/22/2013)

“Bubba”, GOD is a spirit who does not display gender except when using human form (we say, using embodiment; Incarnation).  Spirit substance can not be known relying on finite human tools such as emotion, intellect, secular knowledge, logic, and carnal reason.   Divine spirit is diffuse (i.e., may spread over a boundless expanse without loss of adherence, coherence, and integrity), is invisible to the human eye, and is without dimension (i.e., can not be measured in accordance with patterns from the frameworks of time and space like density, depth, height, and length).  The fullness (entire array) of divine spirit substances are being revealed to created beings and living creatures as the GODhead (the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit), and are not like the many material things we compare to spirit that have particles (e.g., clouds, fog, mist, smoke).  Included are inseparable spirit content from the full makeup of divinity such as faith, forbearance, holiness, humility, longsuffering, lovingkindness, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Because the church is a spiritual body created by divinity and endowed with those spirit gifts, only the church is spoken of as the “bride of Christ.”

Serious answers and responses to your question from Christian believers can take many forms, for the “active presence” (we also say, breath, life essence, spirit, Word) who is GOD indwells sinners who become “born again.”  As among the three persons of the single GODhead, believers will display accord and oneness without sameness.  The inborn spirit must die, be buried, and be raised from the dead; and the sinner must be reborn having divine DNA, so to speak.  Because developing believers have a fresh endowment of spirit substance from the makeup of GOD, Christians may be called the children of GOD, joint heirs with Jesus Christ as well as priests and kings, saints within the kingdom of GOD, and the new creation.  The reproduction of the image of GOD in mankind is a sacred process, rather than a mechanical or natural process such as we see in sexual reproduction.  What some count as the distinct expressions and traits from a mother (e.g., gentleness, obedience, patience, strength, sweetness, the ability to weep unselfishly for and with others) should appear through every member of the body of Christ (the church).  Consider the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  John 4:  23-24, King James Version (KJV):  23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth:  for the Father seeketh such to worship him.  24 God is a Spirit:  and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

(2.)  Galatians 4:  4-7, KJV:  4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,  5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.  6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.  7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

(3.)  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and made a part of our own spirit makeup.  (For example, (4.)  Revelation 19:  7-11, KJV:  7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him:  for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.  8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white:  for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.  9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.  9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.  10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not:  I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus:  worship God:  for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.  11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
