Come To Mount Sion

The gathering at Mount Sion (see reference below)

Today, reply is on the appearance of Jesus Christ on the earth to continue and renew Creation. Multiple sacred events and promises have been established for the redemption and salvation of mankind that have no expiration date, that will not be repeated, that establish a fresh endowment of the divine nature within the living, and that will be fulfilled through final judgment and eternal life. The church does not control what a believer knows, thinks and understands so much as they encourage making godly choices and decisions, and they present, preserve and share the same sacred counsels, law and truth that has nourished hope and faith in others. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Alduin05” (Level 1 with 20 points, a member since October 08, 2017) posted the following:

If the Old Testament doesn’t apply anymore, why did Jesus say “I am come not to destroy the law”?

If the Old Testament doesn’t apply anymore, wouldn’t that mean the Ten Commandments are also irrelevant too?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5: 17-20, King James Version, KJV)

Alduino5”, the revelation of divinity through intimate, personal relationship with GOD was begun on the earth before the first pair (Adam) became subject to conditions introduced by their transgression of divine law. Such legal devices as atonement, covenant relationship, offerings of blood, a consecrated priesthood, and inheritance have been provided to demonstrate and restore the authority, benefit and power of divine law within the consciousness and self-will of created beings and living creatures. Divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) has appeared on the earth using human form as Jesus Christ (Incarnation) to provide the fresh endowment of life essence (we say, breath; spirit; word) from the makeup of divinity required for the living to fulfill sacred promise, prophecy, eternal purpose, and unfinished divine works begun before the foundation of heaven and earth. Saying this another way, consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Jeremiah 31: 31-36, King James Version (KJV): 31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. 35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: 36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.

2. Hebrews 9: 11-15, KJV: 11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; 12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. 13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: 14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? 15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. Hebrews 12: 18-25, KJV: 18 For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest, 19 And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard entreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more: 20 (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart: 21 And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:) 22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. 25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, topics include death and mortality, divine immutability, and the singleness of revelation.  Comments are shared on the frequently repeated error that the GOD who appears in the Old Testament of the Bible is not the same as the one who appears in the New Testament.  In our coming to know GOD according to the Scriptures, divinity is usually introduced as Creator, then shown to be a Law Giver and Judge.  Wrath and terrible punishments are brought against all who exist in the earth.  Later, GOD appears as a loving Father who protects and supports his Son in human form, who operates as a friend, a teacher, and a Savior.  For careful and thoughtful readers, two different descriptions for the workings of divinity are not provided.  Even so, many Christian believers insist they see a change or shift within the substance and workings of the GODhead.  The first GOD is cruel, merciless, rigid, and vengeful; the second GOD is compassionate, kind, and loving.  The first bullies and threatens mankind with hellfire, senselessly destroys and slaughters helpless livestock upon his altar, and maintains invisibility.  The second appears in Flesh; cancels punishments, sicknesses, and sins; and encourages and rewards with eternal life and heaven.  The incorrect view must be seen as stemming from the flaws within human consciousness and self-will, for those following the Lord who are double-minded also doubt, hesitate, lack zeal, pursue vainglory, question, and resist the Gospel.  The errors that arise in how we see divinity do not exist within GOD, and are projected upon the Creator from the created.  Included are thirst for blood, coldness, contradiction, corruption, favoritism, hostility, imbalance, imperfection, perverseness, uncontrolled rage, lack of restraint, slackness, violence, and weakness.  Consider again the Scriptures that follow, and the presentation below:

Ezekiel 33:  17-20, King James Version (KJV):  17 Yet the children of thy people say, The way of the Lord is not equal:  but as for them, their way is not equal.  18 When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby.  19 But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby.  20 Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways.

Psalms 102:  9-12, KJV:  9 For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping.  10 Because of thine indignation and thy wrath:  for thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down.  11 My days are like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass.  12 But thou, O LORD, shall endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.

Hebrews 10:  28, KJV:  He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

1st John 5:  20, KJV:  20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

Hebrews 13:  8, KJV:  8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own way and by their doings:  their way was before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman.  Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and for their idols wherewith they had polluted it:  And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries:  according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.  And when they entered unto the heathen, whither they went, they profaned my holy name, when they said to them, These are the people of the LORD, and are gone forth out of his land.  But I had pity for mine holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the heathen, whither they went.  Therefore say unto the house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name’s sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.  And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.  For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.  Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean:  from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.  A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you:  and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.  And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.  (Ezekiel 36:  17-27, KJV)

I recently encountered, again, the widely-spread error that the Bible records the existence of two totally different experiences of divinity:  GOD in the Old Testament is cruel, harsh and strict while GOD in the New Testament is kind, loving and merciful.  For the living, three different streams for logic and order promote confusion, here:  (1) the framework of time and space used to organize all information (e.g., data and signals to the brain from the network of nerves throughout the body as well as emotions, imagination, and thoughts throughout the mind) also declares everything must change; (2) the independent existence of the Son apart from the Father declares there must be differences in their authority, character, form, nature, power, and purpose; and (3) created beings and living creatures now are developed, experienced, and evolved to a level where they are justified when declaring they may judge all the things of their own life experience, including divinity.

There is only one revelation of divinity to mankind, however, it has been provided through multiple agents, devices, processes, and relationships.  For humanity, life unfolds through discrete cycles, phases and stages that also may entail inner conflicts, individual differences, forgetting, human error, lapses, and underdevelopment.  Divinity may not be made known to finite mankind through a one-time event or single occurrence.  Divine revelation must be understood as a continuous, eternal, and ongoing process begun before Creation of the earth and its inhabitants.  Revelation proceeds through sacred operations that include deliverance, election, Incarnation, judgment, proclamation, prophecy, rebirth, vision, and visitation.  The things recorded as the Testimony of Jesus and the Book of Revelation have their beginning in those of Genesis, and predate both the Nativity and the cross.  Thus, we should not think of revelation as an ad hoc reaction, or result of an afterthought.

There is only one GOD described by the Bible, and he has always pursued the same eternal purposes to establish existence, life (all things that exist are not alive), and to maintain the present Creation.  Divine law must appear, and with it, the mechanics for sacred process that include assigning value, correction, establishing equity, punishment, rebuke, resolving conflicts, and settling disputes.  Thus, it is a further aspect of revelation that we have the display of divine affection and care wherein GOD exalts himself above sinners, and breaks the spirit (we say, humbles, humiliates) of those who are disobedient, disrespectful, proud and unrepentant.  GOD’s purpose continues to be their cleansing, healing, recovery and salvation.  The alternative to destroy sinners out of hand, or simply ignore them would be more agonizing and terrible for Creation than the final destruction of corruption in the Lake of Fire.

Just as love from GOD is not a one-time event, death is not a one-time event.  GOD is not free to reject death as an expression of divine love, and as the correct sacred solution to oppose the operations of sin.  So to speak, the divine choice to employ death is not upon the basis of affections, anger, other feelings that come and go, or even upon intent.  Death is required on the basis of necessary conditions for perpetually continuing life essence (we say, breath, spirit, word), and for the required tasks to counter the operations of sin without also resorting to the removal of existence.  Death is taken up and altered to be a tool for crafting life, and when seen with dispassion and the proper fullness of mind, its use is a further expression of divine commitment, goodness, and love in action.

There is far more to be said, correctly shared, and spiritually understood.  (For example, the teaching that there is “one faith, one Lord, one baptism, one GOD and Father of all” reaches back as well as forward, and is to be understood as operating within all that has been provided as sacred knowledge.  Sadducees (e.g., Caiaphas, Ananias) and those insisting upon supremacy for ceremonies, formalities and traditions of law (Pharisees) usually do so denying a place to prophecy, and to the imparted Spirit from GOD that is to indwell the believer.  Those who disbelieve have been given the same revelation, however, they choose to apply it responding to the dimensions of flesh, not those of a boundless Creator.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

The term “Judeo-Christian” is the topic, today, along with the sharing of faith despite differences and diversity.  The Social Sciences as an area of academic discipline have fostered use of the term “Judeo-Christian” when describing cultural phenomena or populations as well as when examining activity between and among national groups.  Neither Christian nor Jewish believers are correctly acknowledged as spiritual bodies (i.e., living units that contain faith, holiness, and other spirit matter from the makeup of Deity).  Where academics insist upon “critical thinking” and study that fails to embrace sacred knowledge the actual focus continues to be conflict, differences, and patterns of human error, rather than divinity, godliness, oneness and unity.  Consider the following Scriptures, and the comments below:  Acts 5:  34-40, King James Version (KJV):  34 Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space;  35 And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men.  36 For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves:  who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought.  37 After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him:  he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed.  38 And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone:  for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:  39 But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.  40 And to him they agreed:  and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.  Also, Romans 8:  3-5, KJV:  3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:  4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  Romans 3:  28-30, KJV:  28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.  29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:  30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Why do People say “Judeo – Christian”?

In view of what we know today, how can there be “Judeo-Christian” anything?

“Judeo-Christian” is as unrealistic as it would be to say anything is “hot-cold,” or “old-young,” or “heavy-light,” or that a person was “healthy-sick,” or “poor-rich,” or “dumb-smart,” or “ignorant-educated,” or “happy-sad.” These words are antonyms, not synonyms.

A CHRISTian is a believer in and a followr of, the teachings of Jesus CHRIST.

Judeo-Christian….HUH!

Seems to me there’s a lot of CONDITIONING going on.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law:  that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.  Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight:  for by the law is the knowledge of sin.  But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;  Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe:  for there is no difference:  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;  Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:  Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;  To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness:  that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.  (Romans 3:  19-26, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  A GOD of Judgment (12/01/2015); Tools for Revelation? (10/26/2015); To Study the Book of Judges (09/09/2015); Instruments, Tools and Workers? (07/23/2015); Christ Brought A New Nature? (07/15/2015); More About the Trinity? (03/30/2015)

“Noah”, the expression “Judeo-Christian” is recognized by many as “academic” or “scholarly” language used among those who examine the things of divinity as being  abstractions, mental constructs, and secular traditions.  On the one hand, very real differences that exist between Christian and Jewish belief are to be correctly “acknowledged”.  On the other hand, none may dismiss the shared expectations, origins, processes, and values for the two distinct expressions of faith.  Historically, the early Christians were condemned and persecuted by the High Priest and others of the Jewish hierarchy as being another in a series of misguided, unorthodox, extremist groups within their community that followed a charismatic leader (we say, a cult).  It remains as firm belief for many that Deity is active through created beings and living creatures, and is fulfilling eternal purposes through the things that exist.  For those today who pursue faith as a matter of lifestyle, self-awareness, and communal definition, Jewish belief appears as conservative and unchanging, having its primary purpose as continuing covenant relationship with divinity, manifesting divine law, and preserving oracles from GOD.  By contrast, Christian belief is active, forward-looking, and volatile because grounded in prophecy and revelation.   Christian belief declares a new covenant with new understandings for sacred law and judgment.  Consider again the language provided throughout the holy writings:

(1.)  Deuteronomy 7:  6-10, King James Version (KJV):  6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God:  the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.  7 The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:  8 But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.  9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;  10 And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them:  he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.

(2.)  Romans 2:  28-29, KJV:  28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:  29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

(3.)  Romans 3:  1-3, KJV:  1 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?  2 Much every way:  chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.  3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

(4.)  Romans 2:  12-15, KJV:  12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;  13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.  14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:  15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

(5.)  Romans 9:  30-32, KJV:  30 What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.  31 But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.  32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;

(6.)  Hebrews 9:  19-23, KJV:  19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,  20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.  21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.  22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.  23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.

There are many other verses that should be carefully considered, correctly understood, and made a part of ones own expression of faith.  (For example, (7.)  Hebrews 9:  11-15, KJV:  11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;  12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. 15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Many are called, but few will show themselves to be the elect.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
