Today, reply is on the sacred knowledge and process among Christian believers whereby Jesus Christ is accepted as having been approved of GOD. Believers in Jesus as their Redeemer and Savior choose to exist as life companions to immortal, incorruptible divinity. Thus, it is written: 1st John 5: 1-10, King James Version (KJV): 1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? 6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. 7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. 9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. 10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. How do we know that Jesus had God’s approval?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray. And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering. And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias: Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem. But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him. And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said. While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud. And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. And when the voice was past, Jesus was found alone. And they kept it close, and told no man in those days any of those things which they had seen. (Luke 9: 28-36, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Nothing Impossible For GOD? (12/12/2016); The Transfiguration of Christ (11/14/2016)

Brother Virgil”, because Christians are to “know” by faith, by works, and by the seals divinity places upon them, here are some points on divine fullness (i.e., Deity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) from the Bible along with some of the ideas I would pass on to my own sons and heirs:

1. Acts 2: 22-24, King James Version (KJV): 22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: 23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: 24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

2. The appearance of divinity on the earth as Jesus Christ using flesh and the form of mankind (we say, the Incarnation) requires (1) humanity that is authentic through birth, aging, suffering, death, resurrection, and final judgment; (2) a display of personhood that is genuine through patterns of appetite, awareness, emotion, independence, mind, sensation, and finite self-will (willpower); (3) a recognizable endowment of life essence (we say, breath; spirit; word) imparted to mankind from the substance of the Creator as well as (4) a continuous presentation of the inseparable meanings, standards, and values that project a visible image of GOD who is immortal, incorruptible, and invisible.

3. Isaiah 55: 10-12, KJV: 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. 12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

4. Accord among the Godhead acknowledges multiple streams of sacred substance that express divine prerogative, eternal purpose, truth, and sovereign will. Included are faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

5. Deuteronomy 18: 21-22, KJV: 21 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? 22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

6. Romans 14: 17-19, KJV: 17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. 18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men. 19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

7. Assurances, discernment of divine presence, and “knowing” (i.e., being certain; being convicted; being sure) emerge by the continuity, confluence, exchange, and interaction of diverse elements describing godly consciousness. Included are doctrine, sacred events (we say, miracles), sacred law, sacred practices (we say, sacraments), praise, prayer, promises, prophecy, oral traditions, spiritual songs, and holy writings.

8. John 14: 10-12, KJV: 10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake. 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

9. All who are turned to divinity for sacred knowledge in place of finite human information and secular knowledge are in a process with GOD to receive conclusive declaration following ongoing service. Believers are to watch, wait, witness, and work as divinity provides expressions of consecration (we say, grace, faith, patience, revelation).

10. Ezekiel 12: 22-27, KJV: 22 Son of man, what is that proverb that ye have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are prolonged, and every vision faileth? 23 Tell them therefore, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision. 24 For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel. 25 For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD. 26 Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying. 27 Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, The vision that he seeth is for many days to come, and he prophesieth of the times that are far off. 28 Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord GOD.

11. Things known by faith are to become affirmed on the basis of their completion; their fulfillment; the appearance of peace as the resolution of conflict and the settlement of disputes through the application of sacred law; the disclosure of immutable conditions and unchanging operations that will remain unseen, yet, have existed before the foundation of heaven and earth; and the things proclaimed and possible with GOD being made actual before the living.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 12. Correctly understood, the device of father/son relationship is used to establish a consciousness of divine process that is to be fruitful among created beings and living creatures. There are no issues of conflicting authorities, persons within the Godhead opposing one another, or multiple deities requiring each other’s actions and approval to manifest their own personhood. Also, 13. John 10: 17-18, KJV: 17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. 18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, points are shared on the two forms of Jesus Christ in the heaven and upon the cross.  Where the Apostle John (called the Revelator) details the figure of Christ, he does not seem to describe the same person he saw upon the earth.  Similarly, when Satan challenged Christ in the mount of temptation, the Adversary did not appear to recognize him as the same one who had authority in the heaven.  For Christian believers, Jesus Christ is to be understood as a visible appearance of the Word using flesh as well as the perfected image of GOD that should appear in mankind.  Those who are born again are enabled by the Holy Spirit to discern a oneness of purpose, relationship, and divine substance without also having to see sameness (i.e., without a display of divine form as breath, life essence, and spirit).  The heavenly glory of Christ has been witnessed upon the earth through his transfiguration, resurrection, and ascension.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers (Canada) using the ID “BOLOBOLO” (Level 5 with 5,511 points, a member since January 02, 2015) posted the following:

If Jesus is God at JOHN 20:28, then who is God when Jesus is dying ?

Why, while hanging on the death instrument, did Jesus Christ cry out, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

At Mark 15:34, Jesus’ final recorded words were: ‘”Eìli, Eìli, laìma saqbachqthaìni?” which means, when translated: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:  Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:  In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:  Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:  For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers:  all things were created by him, and for him:  And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.  And he is the head of the body, the church:  who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.  For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;  And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.  And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled  In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:  (Colossians 1:  12-22, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  The Transfiguration of Christ (11/14/2016); Anointed, Consecrated and Installed (08/04/2016); The Only Physical Being in Heaven? (06/17/2015); Why Was A Son Sent? (11/10/2013); Promise of A Spirit? (11/11/2013); The Ascension of Christ? (12/19/2012); GOD in Schools? (12/20/2012)

“BOLOBOLO”, there are many points of sacred knowledge that must be examined to correctly understand the dual nature of Jesus Christ as flesh and spirit, as Son of Man and Son of GOD.  Upon the earth, the Savior, who was called the Word in heaven, was in a material form—that of a human being.  The Lord was mortal (i.e., a living creature who would only endure for a measured period), and was required to operate using only carnal, secular, and social processes to demonstrate to believers in his name what we may accomplish as the sons of GOD in the earth.  Thus, at no time was Jesus in a different relationship with the Father, or with the Holy Spirit.  In addition to inseparable spirit content from the makeup of Deity (e.g., faith, forbearance, forgiveness, holiness, joy, longsuffering, wisdom, wrath against sin), aspects of divinity have been displayed and revealed through the ministry of Jesus that we speak of as immortality, immutability, permanence, and a sovereign will that is not subject to influence and manipulation.  These features have further set Jesus apart as incorruptible, preeminent, unique, and divine.  Christ was unwavering and pursued a path detailed through the holy writings that would address and fulfill divine law, official proclamations, sacred promises, and eternal purposes.  Consider again the following:

(1.)   Hebrews 1:  1-4, King James Version (KJV):  1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,  2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;  3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:  4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

(2.)  Galatians 4:  4-7, KJV:  4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,  5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.  6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.  7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

(3.)   John 1:  1-5, KJV:  1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  2 The same was in the beginning with God.  3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.  4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.  5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

The effects upon the GODhead for the death of Jesus at the cross are considered, today.  Also, there is more on our bodies that will be taken into heaven.  A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “Ksh” (Level 5 with 7,888 points, a member since February 25, 2012) posted the following:

What happened to trinity when jesus died for 3 days..?

THE BATTLE AXE:  A Perfected Body (03/09/2014)—The body given believers in their resurrection must become as the physical body of Jesus that now is able to exist within all the spheres of divine presence (we say, both heaven and earth).  The perfected body must endure over an indefinite period that can not be comprehended using our present frameworks of time and space.  The transformation of mankind that occurred through the receipt of carnal knowledge will be surpassed by the transformation that comes through the imparting of divine substance in the same way the baptism of Jesus was surpassed by the transfiguration.  Believers will continue to maintain and observe perpetually various memorials and ordinances of acknowledgment and worship to GOD.  Access to, and fellowship with GOD will yet be encouraged and enriched through the mediation of Jesus; however, no longer will there be the formal services that pertain to a temple or place of sanctuary.  The eternal things for reverence are to be such essentials as blessing, glory, wisdom, honor, thanksgiving, power, and might.  See Genesis 3:  22, Psalms 16:  11, Matthew 17:  1-3, Hebrews 10:  14-25, 1st John 2:  16-17, Revelation 7:  11-12 and Revelation 22:  5, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:  As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.  And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.  I have glorified thee on the earth:  I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.  And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.  I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world:  thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.  Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.  For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.  I pray for them:  I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.  And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.  (John 17:  1-10, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  GOD is Jesus? (01/13/2014); GOD is Showing You (01/14/2014); Poem for Amiri Baraka (01/15/2014); Why Was A Son Sent? (11/10/2013); Jesus Rose? (11/08/2013); (The Ascension of Christ? (12/19/2012); GOD in Schools? (12/20/2012); How Was GOD Known Before Jesus? (10/06/2012); Jesus, King of Earth? (10/07/2012); A Man in Heaven? (09/23/2012); Aliens? (09/24/2012)

“Ksh”, here are a few points of Christian belief to consider that may help you avoid error and spiritual confusion:

(1.)  The resurrection to glory that the Father provided for Jesus was granted before the foundation of the earth, and occurred as a predetermined and necessary sacred event.  Both incarnation (birth through flesh), and the completion of mortality (death upon the cross) had place within the full GODhead as a conditional solution, possibility, fixed principals, and eternal purpose.

(2.)  The GODhead was not annulled, cancelled, destroyed, or dissolved.  Many subtle (we say, barely visible, hidden) divine operations were occurring unseen to created beings and living creatures.  Acknowledgements, interaction among the divine persons, and the distinct functions of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit were being carried out, all at the same time.

There is a lot more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually understood.  (For example (3.)  Upon the cross, Jesus became the embodiment of all human sin, and was abominable, detestable, and repulsive.  The divine task of reconciliation that was initiated in the Garden of Eden came into its most complete and full expression.  The heart of GOD is said to have been broken; and judgment to reveal the righteousness of GOD was to go forth.  (Like the betrayal and violation of trust between a father and his son who has hosted a kegger without permission.)  Mercy only appears as an aspect of judgment, and should not be confused with compassion (an aspect of love).  Rather than bereavement and mourning, focus of the GODhead continued as triumph and victory over death and sin.)   Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Give glory to the LORD your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and make it gross darkness.  (Jeremiah 13:  16, KJV)

Recently, I was pressed to decide how (and whether) to respond to current media reports describing an interview with the Pope and policies of the Vatican.  Today, I share some comments (below) on what it means to make church a brand, and to market evangelical and spiritual events.  A believer’s privilege to speak by occasion is considered along with the duty to not speak (keep silence), and to speak only prophecy.  Also, there is more on whether Jesus appeared having a halo.

THE BATTLE AXE:  A Halo Upon Jesus? (09/25/2013)—While the Bible is written in plain language and describes sacred events using visual images common in human experience, believers are to understand that profound aspects of divinity are being portrayed.  Thus, one of the holiest sacred events, the transfiguration of Jesus, is depicted through change in his clothing and outward appearance, and an audible voice speaking from heaven.  The glistening and whiteness of his garment expresses acknowledgment of his purity, a change in his awareness, and a further endowment to the content of his inner spirit.  See 2nd Corinthians 4:  6, Hebrews 2:  9, John 1:  14 and Matthew 17:  1-9, King James Version.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.  I speak not by commandment, but by occasion of the forwardness of others, and to prove the sincerity of your love.  For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.  And herein I give my advice:  for this is expedient for you, who have begun before, not only to do, but also to be forward a year ago.  Now therefore perform the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to will, so there may be a performance also out of that which ye have.  For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.  (2nd Corinthians 8:  7-12, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Salvation for Atheists? (06/14/2013); Church is Good? (06/15/2013); On Titles and Respect (03/15/2013); On Producing Atheists (03/16/2013); My Sheep Hear My Voice (03/08/2013); Wanting To Have Our Way (03/09/2013)

As those who make visible the ministry of Jesus Christ, obedient believers are not permitted to gainsay Pope Francis I, or other prominent clergy.  Believers may not add to what the Pontiff speaks, stand in judgment of his public prayers, his praise and service, or seek to “have the last word” after the Pontiff has made a public statement.  To “gainsay” is to challenge, foster schism, and promote believers being opinionated within the body of Christ in the place of uttering prophecy with service as spokespersons of GOD and his Christ.  Even though I publish a sacred writings blog, this means I must “speak” like every other believer throughout the kingdom of GOD.  With such a rule in effect, I am not allowed to “second guess” the secular head of the Church of England, those who are Messianic and Jewish believers, or leaders for the many denominations that include the A. M. E. (African Methodist Episcopal), the Amish, the Baptist, the Jehovah’s Witnesses, the Latter Day Saints, the Seventh Day Adventists, or The United House of Prayer for All People.  Rightly understood, however, I absolutely must declare my own faith. (See 1st Corinthians 1:  21 and 24, Titus 1:  7-9, Acts 10:  25-29, Jude 10-13, KJV).

Attackers who seek occasion against, provoke, and repeatedly make malicious thrusts against the Pope may not be spoken of as true servants of the Lord, or agents and defenders of the church of Jesus Christ.  Questionable journalists in the media want to catch the Pope in an unguarded moment.  Like the paparazzi, they go about to embarrass, entangle and entrap leaders of the church within their own statements, and words.  Casual remarks and personal responses are made to appear as official declarations of policy, and the overturning of scriptural truth.  The critical speakers and writers distort true dialog, should be understood as dangerous disrupters, and are a serious distraction from the  genuine focus for the true work of the church. Believers today should all agree that, as surely as Jesus cast out devils, fed the hungry, forgave sin, and healed the sick, Christ cautioned the money-changers, the Pharisees, Rome (through Pontius Pilate), the Sadducees, and others.  Many hoped to condemn the Savior using his own public statements against him.  Even so, fulfillment of the Gospel was always the primary focus of his ministry upon the earth, including the sacred events of his death, burial, and resurrection.

More disturbing than the misguided media is the fact that, while representatives of our institutional churches share messages that exhort personal commitment, dialog, and encounter, in many instances those who seek the Lord only experience being challenged to respond to a “brand”.  Typically, there is a prominent person (like the Pope), who captures the hearts and minds of believers, whom believers will never have opportunity to share personal relationship with in this lifetime.  At best, believers are approached and encouraged by an apparatus calling itself/themselves “partners”, “the laity,” “the faithful,” “the team,” “assistant pastor,” “junior pastor,” “pastor’s wife,” “pastor’s staff,” “pastor’s dog,” “pastor’s cat,” etc.  It is very likely that the widespread apostasy, disenchantment, and disengagement we see in the church today is a direct result of the faith being advertised, media hyped, merchandised, and promoted like just another brand.  There is an overall air of dishonesty, rather than the fragrance of Jesus.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually understood.  These ideas are at best a beginning.  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Incarnation and prayer as sacred devices used to establish redemption and salvation for mankind are the topics, today.  Also, there is more on the chariot of fire and other prophetic demonstrations.  A “Yahoo! Answers Australia” writer using ID “Horn of the Unicorn” (Level 1 with 47 points, a member since September 13, 2009) posted the following:

Why was Jesus (as God) always praying to himself?

THE BATTLE AXE:  Prophetic Demonstrations (09/06/2013)—(4.)  There are multiple levels of meaning and truth for any prophetic demonstration.  Focus for the chariot of fire account is not merely the death of the prophet Elijah or the anointing and empowerment of his successor, Elisha; and is seen to embrace the glory and sufferings of GOD as well as the final judgment of all mankind.  By faith and not as eyewitnesses who we present with him there, the sons of the prophets (see 2nd Kings 2:  1-7, KJV) were to witness Elijah’s separation.  Burning, flaming horses, and the open vehicle serve as images for the lowliness of mankind and the exalted person of GOD as well as for the swiftness and thoroughness of judgment.  The contrasts of meekness and power are also to be seen in the humiliation of Moses and glorification of Elijah that prefigure both the transfiguration of Jesus, and the ascension of the Savior before the apostolic witnesses (see Matthew 17:  1-13, Mark 9:  1-13, Luke 9:  28-36 and Acts 1:  1-11, KJV).

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,  Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;  Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:  Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.  For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?  And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.  (Hebrews 1:  1-6, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Prayer not Enough? (07/12/2013); A Tree Falls To The South (07/13/2013); A Relationship not Just Knowledge? (06/25/2013); Lost Without GOD? (06/26/2013); Accomplished in Christ? (01/16/2013); The Need to Purify Heaven (01/17/2013)

Horn of the Unicorn, most people ask that question (or one very like it) when they first begin examining the many levels of new truth that are important to Christian belief.  Here are a few useful points you may find helpful that usually are discovered in the course of careful Bible study and prayer:

(1.)  GOD is a spirit, and exists in a fullness revealed to mankind through peculiar sacred operations.  Included are birth, death, praise, resurrection, baptism, rebirth, repentance, and sanctification.  GOD is not a fog, a mist, or a smoke having physical being without person.  Nor is Almighty GOD to be thought of as an energy, a force, or a brain/mind having no body.  Incarnation is the sacred event wherein GOD appeared in material form as the person of Jesus Christ.

(2.)  Through Jesus, GOD has demonstrated a broad range of divine purposes, sacred laws, and eternal operations that further establish Almighty GOD as set apart, as exalted, as sanctified, and as sovereign.  Included are forbearance, forgiveness, longsuffering, judgment, love, and resurrection.

(3.)  Jesus has instructed mankind in how to rebuild right relationship with GOD through spiritual practices that continually acknowledge divine grace, and that obey directions from the imparted, indwelling Spirit from GOD (called the Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Prophecy, and the Spirit of Truth).  Through the ministry of Jesus, believers obtain fresh endowments of divinity that replenish the measure provided in Creation to Adam (and that has been steadily declining through sin).  Included are such aspects of sacred content from the person of GOD as faith, holiness, humility, truth, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

(4.)  Through the intercession and mediation of Jesus Christ, human prayer and worship have been made consecrated and intimate before GOD despite the continuance of sin among mankind.  The weight of obedience to law as a factor in judgment is broadened to include examination for the absence and presence of spirit content from GOD.  The righteousness of the law may be established through faith in addition to the mechanism of ones behavior and conduct obeying the law.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually understood.  For example, (5.)  As a man among men, and before men, Jesus prays to GOD as an outreach to impress the hearts, minds, and spirits of men like me and you.  In addition to prayer, the life examples shared with believers through Jesus Christ include comforting the bereaved, confession, giving, fasting and restraint of appetite, feeding the hungry, and faithful service.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
